Let's come back a bit on your match against Cloud9, starting with the veto

Could you tell us why you chose not to play Cache again

Even though you had beat them on it last time during the Legends Stage

For the veto it was simple, first we banned Train because we don't play on it

And they banned Nuke because they don't play on it

Then when we had to pick one, we chose Overpass because they don't play much on this map so they were not supposed to be very good on it

And they picked Mirage. That's how it happened, we were hesitating

between Overpass, Cache and even Inferno, but in the end almost everyone in the team agreed on Overpass

Regarding Cache we didn't want to pick it because we already beat them on it during the tournament

So they were obviously going to get used to our play

We simply didn't want to pick a map we already beat them on, that's a principle that fnatic and even NiP used to have

We all agreed on that

So that's why, we know they can adapt themselves pretty well to our play and we wanted to avoid that

So you started by playing Mirage

Then you had a technical time-out at the very beginning

We all saw that Nathan (NBK) was arguing about something with the admin

And he didn't manage to get into the game, at least not as much as during the Legends Stage

We didn't see the best of him

So could you come back a bit on this technical pause and on Mirage?

Regarding Nathan first, it's not that he couldn't get into the game, it's just that he plays on B on Mirage

And the terrorists usually don't go much towards this bomb side, it's like 80% on A and 20% on B

So he had to back us up many times, and it's not easy

Regarding the technical pause now, it's simple, first we won the pistol

And for the next round there was a kind of bug with the admins, Alex (bodyy) was muted

And actually he was already muted during the pistol round, then during the second round

But let's be honest, it's not because of that that we lost the eco, Kenny and me ate two Deagle headshots

So even if we could communicate with Alex (bodyy) it wouldn't have changed anything

So yeah, it's just...

What happened with Nathan (NBK) was that he thought the admin was ignoring him

Because he was talking to the admin through his headset, and the admin couldn't hear it

So Nathan was actually talking for nothing and he got a bit angry for being ignored like that

But the two of them talked about it afterwards and there was no problem

It's because of the stress at the beginning of a match

So as I said before, it's not that Nathan couldn't get into the match

But it's like on that on every map, one of the bomb site is less used that the other so he had fewer things to do

Do you want to add something Kenny?

It's just that obviously, this is not the best way to get focused on a match, when something like that happens during the second round

We couldn't do anything about that of course

But I think we were all pretty tense

So it quickly got out of control

I think it disadvantaged us more than anything

Maybe some players were more affected by it than the others

Maybe not Nathan himself, but other players around him

So of course the technical pause did not help us get into the game

Also, in order to ask for a time-out in an official match you have to press F1 right?

So Kenny, you ended up buying something because of that

So you asked to restart the round, but the rules didn't allow it

I'll let you talk about it, and I also have a question : can't you disable F1 to avoid the auto-buy?

If you disable F1 you also can't allow a time-out, that's a problem

Actually, it's not that the rules forbid it

It's just that the ELEAGUE wasn't conscious of what happened

They didn't realize that I had bought this gun because of the F1 system

So once they realized it they restarted the round

So yeah, since the beginning there was a bit of a misunderstanding between the staff and us

So the final score on Mirage was 16-8 four Cloud9

You took a few time-outs but you didn't manage to make a comeback

What was it that you lacked on Mirage in order to win?

It's simple, let's start from the beginning

First, France hadn't gotten past the group stage for the last 2 and half years

So our main goal was to get out of the group stage

We actually didn't have any other goal for this lan, we just wanted to gain the Legend status

So we focused a lot on BO1s

So yeah we almost didn't practice on Mirage

But we're actually not angry about that

We're not blaming ourselves, because our main goal was to become Legends, the rest would only be a bonus

So yeah, they won, and it was obvious that we hadn't practiced on it because we made stupid mistakes

Still, we were losing 8-2 and we came back to 8-7, which is correct

But then we lost the pistol

and we had many incomprehensible rounds, it was obvious that we were lost on the map

So when you start a Major's quarterfinals on a map you haven't practiced, well...

It's complicated, even more if the other team is good on it

But as I said we don't regret it, we chose to focus on 5 other maps and we set Mirage aside

So good job to them

Did you feel affected by the crowd because there was no booth?

No, we're used to situations where the crowd is usually against us

So we didn't... well I'm talking for myself, but I think it didn't affect anyone in the team

With or without a crowd, I think the outcome of the match would have been the same

So then you played on Overpass next, you pick

We were expecting you to win the map, and I think you were expecting that too

But it didn't start well for you once again

What were you lacking this time to win the map and reach Cobble, the decider?

We lacked in rigour, and made mistakes we shouldn't have made

We lost some really important clutches, like for example a 3v2 on A site

So of course if affected us

If only we had won this 3v2 and other important rounds, we would have gotten into the match

Unfortunately, we lost them because we didn't play well

And that's it, but you know, Overpass...

To be more precise, we actually practiced a lot on Overpass

And during the prac, we were very good on our T side

But during the lan, we failed twice of this T side

So it's a bit hard to take because we actually practiced a lot on this map

So why did we lose? Because of the many mistakes, and also because our play style...

Wasn't lax enough, or too strict regarding the players we have, I don't know

We're going to talk about that, we still haven't made the real debriefing because we need to cool down before that

But well, overall they were better, they surprised us, they got the kills and won the clutches

Don't you think you might have made too many force-buys instead of letting you take the awp, Kenny?

No, well, I'm not sure

I think we kinda ran out of solutions at some point

Moreover, I think we were all short of our real level

Originally, the goal of this game is to kill the enemies

Cloud9 was playing a lot better than during the group stage

They were better, and if we wanted to beat them we had to show our best level in any case

We didn't show up, and we paid for it immediatly

This tournament lasted almost a month

So I think we also couldn't be as consistent in our training program during the tournament

We also had some issues, I got the flu and couldn't play for three days

We were all a bit sick at some point

So we have some mitigating circumstances, but it won't explain everything

And it doesn't justify that we lacked in rigour and consistency in our training around the end of the tournament

Before that you managed to win 3-0 during the qualifier, and 3-0 during the Legends Stage

So of course the French community started hoping to see you win

Don't you think that because you were not defeated even once before that

You started struggling when Cloud9 started outplaying you, you didn't know how to react?

Maybe you weren't prepared for it, even if you also lose sometimes during practice

I don't really know. We still struggled before, for example we were losing 9-2 against Flash during our first match and we came back

I don't think it's related, I think we just had a bad day

We played badly

As Kenny said, we were a bit sick but that's no excuse

I for example didn't feel sick

So yeah, we played bad and at the same time they played well

So we can also congratulate them because they played two great maps

So as you said Dan, you still end the tournament with the Legend status, which is pretty great

It had been two years and a half since a French team last got it

Of course we're a bit sad that you lost in quarterfinals but let's not forget that overall it's a good performance

You too, do you feel satisfied with what you did? Are you still motivated for the year to come?

Yeah, overall we feel satisfied, as Dan said our main goal was to get hold of the Legend status

Anything else was a bonus, even if, of course, it hurt to lose in quaterfinals and we wish we could have gone further

So yeah, we did what we wanted, we're still disappointed, but if you look at it objectively there were more positive than negative things

Next lan for you will be... the Starladder?

When is it? February?

I think we're leaving on Frebruary 16, so we'll spend three weeks at home

Honestly, we'll start by taking a few days to rest because we've been away for a month now

We'll play by ourselves but take a few days away from team practice

Then two and half a week of intensive training until the Starladder

So for now we've reached our goal

We wanted to get out of the group stage, but now we want to go even further, we're not here to get a top 8

We want to reach finals and even win them

So for the next three weeks we're going to give it our all and train a lot

At the end of December, between the BLAST and Christmas break

things weren't going well, we were a bit unsure

When we came back we did a one-week bootcamp in Tours, and it went very well

We went from a "can't get past the qualifier" level to a "Legend" level

And that's why we shouldn't regret anything here, we reached our goal

Now we're going to set even higher goals

Does the structure also pressure sometimes regarding your goals?

Because sometimes we see Ocelote (G2's co-founder) post things on Twitter, talking about winning a Major and all

We know that they have high expectations for us, which is normal given that they give us a salary

We have the same expectations for ourselves anyway

We're not directly feeling the pressure

If some people feel pressured, it has to be the ones who connect the players with the structure

For us it would be Jérôme (NiaK), our manager, and possibly our coach

But it's alright for us

We obviously know that they're expecting more from us, but we don't feel that pressured

Thanks for the interview guys, once again congrats for the Legend status

Last words are for you, if you want to say anything to the French-speaking community

So, I know you were expecting a lot from us after what we achieved at the qualifier and the group stage

We're sorry for that, but we're still happy after two and a half years without a French team as Legend

Even if some people will say that we only played against weaker teams

Actually two teams out of the three we played against also became Legends, so it's not that bad

We're satisfied, and we're also happy that people supported us all along the way and gave our best for us

So thank you, and we're going to step up

We don't want quarterfinals, we want to go even further so we'll do our best

We give it our all, if things don't work it's a shame, but at least we'll have given it our all

CompStat in New York, Boston and Chicago - Duration: 5:32.

Can you tell us about CompStat and what it meant for the City?

>> So, CompStat was invented in NYPD by Bill Bratton and Jack Maple.

And the idea was to use statistics and

the number of crimes committed as the bottom line for policing.

So, in business the bottom line is- >> Profit.

>> Profit and loss.

In policing it's how many crimes have been prevented.

And the only way you can figure that out is by looking at the crimes and

determining strategies to prevent them.

>> Absolutely.

>> A brilliant idea,

saved thousands of lives in New York over the last 20 years and across the country.

>> And CompStat also helped them focus resources, right?

You know that this street corner regularly a bad place and this place is not, so

you can direct more cops to that street corner.

>> Right, right, exactly.

Policing was sort of a shotgun approach as far as assignments.

You would spread the officers out among the community

as widely as you can, so you've got equal enforcement.

But really the officers would gravitate to those

high crime areas where there were more calls.

And what CompStat did was allowed us to identify

exactly where the crime was occurring and use, they call it cops on dots.

Really putting officers in those locations.

>> Right. >> And that's the first step.

The problem in New York seemed to be that there was no recognition that

increasing stop and frisk, or increasing field interrogation cards,

contact with potential criminals was ever a bad thing.

And so after talking to the community I realized that people were

feeling put out by being stopped and talked to over and over and over again.

And when we looked at this statistics we found that

it was this same individuals being stopped over and over and over again.

Some are criminals.

But a large number of them we're necessarily hardcore criminals.

They were kids that were on the street, grew up like I did in Lowell.

>> And but this you know highlights an issue that

some things are easier to measure than other things.

>> Right. >> And

the easy way to manage is to focus on the things that are easy to measure.

And that often lead to go awry in the corporate context and

can go awry in the policing context as well.

It's easy to measure how many people you stop, and

it's harder to measure what you've done in terms of building community trust or

what you've done in terms of creating long term safety.

So I'm gonna ask one question which you may not be comfortable saying.

But it's not Boston, it's Chicago.

It is clear that something is not going on well in Chicago.

That Chicago had like New York and Boston significant decreases in crime.

Currently there is both crime levels appear to be up,

although a lot of that is there's always randomness on the statistics,

but it appears both that there's a significant safety issue.

And the public animosity, at least from some parts of the public toward

the Chicago Police Department appears to be quite large.

Do you have any sense about what Chicago could be doing better?

If you were, and probably you have given advice to Rob Emmanuel on this, but

if you were If you were telling them.

How do you fix a dysfunctional situation like that or

how do you at least move in the right direction?

>> There's changes that need to be made on three different levels.

I worked there for

two years providing advice through the justice department to the city.

And, the way I look at it,

the city needs to institute a community policing program and

use CompStat as the main focus for their strategies.

And they've moved away from CompStat, which I think is a further disaster.

But they also have to build trust with the community.

And it has to be block by block and officer by officer.

And so that's the foundation of it.

But there's also serious dysfunction at the state level, at the Cook County

prosecutor's office, in their coordination with the federal authorities.

And quite frankly, I was extremely disappointed in the federal authorities

who would not look at violent crime in the neighborhoods as a problem.

They were focused on white collar crime and corruption.

And even after intervening and

going through the justice department there was zero response from that agency.

In Boston the feds were an enormous help

in our being able to control violent crime, and putting people away.

And quite frankly, at the state level bad guys don't get put in jail in Cook County.

They just don't, they have multiple shootings, multiple firearms arrests,

and they're still on the street, and the criminal justice system is a joke.

So until that gets coordinated at the state and

at the federal level it's gonna be a serious problem.

>> And the federal level, why is it different in Boston and in Chicago?

What, it's just a different person who is in the DA's office?

>> US Attorney, US Attorney.

Right. >> Fascinating, it reminds us to rise how

important personalities are, and how lucky Boston and Lowell have been to have you.

Billionaire named on 'Putin list' who is friends with Roman Abramovich forces his ex-wife back to court claiming his order to pay her £453m in Britain's biggest divorce is 'manifestly unjust'

A billionaire oligarch ordered to hand his ex-wife £453million in Britains biggest divorce case was a victim of manifestly unjust treatment by courts, lawyers claimed today.

Gas and oil tycoon Farkhad Akhmedov, 61, a close friend of Chelsea FC owner Roman Abramovich, was told to hand ex-wife Tatiana Akhmedova 41. 5 per cent of his staggering wealth by a High Court judge in London in December 2016.

During their marriage the couple enjoyed an incredibly lavish lifestyle, with a £39million mansion in Surrey as their family home, as well as a £27.

Mr Akhmedov, who is worth £900million, was included in the recent Putin list, which was released by the US Treasury Department and gives the names of 210 prominent Russians with close ties to the Kremlin.

He owns a £90million art collection and has a private jet valued at around £42m and helicopter.

In 2014, he bought a £300million 377ft super-yacht called Luna from Mr Abramovich for an eye-watering £300million. The vessel has nine cabins and enough room for 18 guests and was built especially for Mr Abramovich.  .

But after the couple - who have two children together - split following more than 20 years of marriage, Mr Justice Haddon-Cave ordered him to give up a huge chunk of his fortune.

The ruling, which was delivered at the end of 2016, was one of the biggest awards made by a UK court.

But lawyers today argued that the hearing was unfair, claiming that the family courts attitude was to espouse without restraint his ex wifes case.

For her part, Ms Akhmedova, 41, says that, despite the courts order, she has to date received almost nothing from her ex.

Hodge Malek QC, for his wife, told the Court of Appeal today that she was just 17 when she met her ex, and 21 and pregnant when they married in 1993 and moved to England.

He said: The husband has not paid a penny. Despite being awarded in aggregate £453,576,152 before interest and costs (she) has to date received nothing from (him) save for some de minimis assets in the UK..

Mr Akhmedov, who owns a private jet and helicopter and a £90m art collection, also bought a £300m super-yacht (pictured) from Chelsea owner Mr Abramovich in 2014. The business mogul also has a has a private jet valued at around £42m (pictured).

Mr Akhmedov is flagrantly in contempt of court. Mr Akhmedov had nothing like the wealth now enjoyed by him - substantively their wealth was made during the marriage.

He told Sir James Munby, Lord Justice Lewison and Lady Justice King that Mr Akhmedov - who started out selling sable furs - made his fortune when he sold shares in Russian company, ZAO Northgas, in 2012 for a staggering $1.

The marriage broke down in 2013 and finally ended in 2014, he said, claiming that, since then, the husband had embarked on a deliberate campaign of trying to defeat the wifes claims by any means possible - save on the merits.

Mr Malek claimed that the husband had shifted almost all of his wealth out of the UK to offshore funds and began to strip cash out to stop his wife getting it as the divorce proceedings progressed.

He said his wife to date has received nothing from the husband save for some de minimis assets in the UK, which include some sporting guns and a valuable motor car, whilst she has also arrested his helicopter and plane.

As part of the divorce ruling, Mr Justice Haddon Cave set aside a transfer of assets, including Mr Akhmedovs £90m art collection, to a fund in Liechtenstein.

One of the husbands lawyers, solicitor Anthony Kerman, was summonsed as part of that process and compelled to divulge to the court private information relating to his clients finances which would normally be privileged and secret.

That move is now being attacked as unfair, with the husband seeking to join the challenge, claiming his case was affected negatively by the controversial move.

Philip Shepherd QC, for Mr Kerman, argued that forcing him to reveal Mr Akhmedovs private affairs cannot be right adding: All proper judicial restraint seems to have been abandoned.

He added: The family courts attitude at the hearings of 15 and 16 December 2016 was to espouse without restraint the cause being made by Ms Akhmedova.

A lawyer witness should not be ambushed into giving evidence, which may reveal legal professional privilege or other matters that it is his duty to keep confidential.

Just as the law does not deprive a fugitive from justice from his ordinary civil rights generally, nor should it do so in relation to his rights to defend legal professional privilege.

Mr Akhmedov, who is worth £900million, also owns a £90million art collection and has a private jet and helicopter. Court of Appeal judges were today considering legal issues in the case at a follow-up hearing in London.

Production of client documents by a lawyer will inevitably affect the client.

The barrister added that the husband has a legitimate ground of challenge to Mr Justice Haddon Caves rulings, saying: The various respondents and other such persons who may be affected by the orders against Mr Kerman should now be given the opportunity to join these appeal proceedings.

Mr Shepherd added: The procedures allowed by the family court in this case were manifestly unjust.

He said that Mr Kerman is no longer instructed by Mr Akhmedov and denied the wifes accusation that he is the husbands general man of business, rather than simply a lawyer.

Mr Malek, however, told the court that Mr Kermans appeal is defective and should be regarded as being of limited significance as it relates largely to matters which have now been overtaken by events. The Appeal Court hearing continues.

What are Britains biggest divorce payouts? London has earned its reputation as the divorce capital of the world following a series of huge pay-outs in favour of the financially weaker spouse.

The nickname - cemented by an emphasis on full disclosure from both parties - has encouraged foreign-born spouses to seek divorce settlements in London, rather than their home country.

Another reason for taking legal action in London is the fact that English courts have the discretion to decide on a case-by-case basis whether prenuptial agreements are binding.

In 2012, The Times found that a sixth of divorce cases heard by English courts involved foreign nationals. Of the cases where huge sums were involved, around half are thought to involve international couples.

Ayesha Vardag, a lawyer who has represented a number of wealthy clients in high-profile divorce battles, said: The principle that there is no discrimination between breadwinner and homemaker is the cornerstone of why the English jurisdiction is seen as a particularly fair one for the financially weaker spouse. MailOnline takes a look at some of the biggest divorce payouts.

Farkhad Akhmedov, a Russian energy tycoon 1. Akhmedov v Akhmedova - £453million Tatiana Akhmedova was given a 41.5% share of Farkhad Akhmedovs £1billion-plus fortune following a London divorce court money fight.   News of Ms Akhmedovas payout emerged during the summer of 2017 following a hearing in the Family Division of the High Court in London overseen by a High Court judge.

Mr Justice Haddon-Cave revealed detail of the case in a written ruling published on a legal website. His award was thought to be the biggest made by a divorce court judge in England.

However, the ruling has been challenged through an appeal.  2.

Cooper v Hohn -  £337m The case of philanthropists Sir Christopher Hohn and Jamie Cooper was concluded by Mrs Justice Roberts in December 2014.  The husband was successful in his argument for special contribution and the judge departed from equality to award the wife £337 million, 36 per cent of the overall total assets.  In June 2017 Sir Geoffrey Vos then ordered Sir Christopher to make a payment of £282 million from his charity into his ex-wifes own foundation.

Estrada v Juffali -  £75m The divorce between model Christina Estrada and Saudi billionaire Walid Juffali was finalised by Mrs Justice Roberts in June 2016.  The case was notable for the consideration of the couples stratospheric standard of living and Juffalis Islamic marriage to a second wife in 2012.  Mr Juffali had previously tried to avoid the proceedings through a spurious assertion of diplomatic immunity.

  The divorce between model Christina Estrada and Saudi billionaire Walid Juffali was finalised by Mrs Justice Roberts in June 2016 4.  WM v HM - £73m Mr Justice Mostyn presided over the case of WM v HM in May 2017.

The husbands claim for special contribution was dismissed and the wife was awarded £73 million.  The case was also interesting for Mostyn Js words on valuing a business in hindsight.

Former Miss Malaysia beauty queen Pauline Chai wanted around £100m from ex-husband Khoo Kay Peng following the breakdown of their 42-year marriage 5.

After analysing the evidence at the trial at the High Court in London, Mr Justice Bodey announced his decision last year that Ms Chai should get a £64m package made up of cash and property.      6.

Al-Baker v Al-Baker £61m The judgment for the multinational case of Sarah Al-Baker v Abdul Amir Al-Baker was handed down in October 2016 by Mr Nicholas Cusworth QC.  The case which stretched between civil and religious courts was remarkable because of the husbands consistent non-compliance and non-disclosure which resulted in the wife being awarded £61 million.

M v M - £54m Mrs Justice Eleanor King DBE presided over the case of M v M in August 2013, resulting in the wife being awarded £54m.  Owing to the Russian couples marital assets being tied up in offshore trusts, the case had an extra five respondents.

Charman v Charman - £48m  In 2006 Beverley Charman, the former wife of insurance magnate John Charman was awarded a £48million settlement by the English courts in proceedings which took two years.

Mr Charman appealed the decision but the pay out, which made legal history at the time, was upheld in 2007.    9.

Sorrell v Sorrell - £30m The case of Lady Sorrell v Sir Martin Sorrell was heard by Mr Justice Bennett in July 2005.  This is one of the rare cases where a husband successfully argued special contribution, which led to Lady Sorrell being awarded £30million, a 60/40 split of the marital assets.

The acrimonious split saw the head of advertising group WPP living for a time in the basement of their Knightsbridge townhouse.  In the divorce settlement, she also got two parking spaces at Harrods.  10.

My name is Nor Azhar bin Mohd Yunus, one of the patients of Hepatitis B.

I was diagnosed with the disease 7 years ago,

and I'd consulted specialists at a hospital to receive treatments.

Since hepatitis is a disease that is difficult to cure,

so while I was receiving treatments, I was given supports

and I was kept updated with my liver condition and other symptoms that occurred from hepatitis.

Initially, I experienced stomach ache for 2 weeks

and I didn't expect it was because of hepatitis.

After I started to vomit blood, I went to see a doctor

and the doctor confirmed it was due to the swelling of the blood vessels in the oesophagus.

I was admitted to the hospital for more or less 2 months.

I didn't have problems with my stomach anymore.

However, my blood pressure, there was a reduction in the number of red blood cells, haemoglobin,

and also a decrease in platelet level.

And at that time, I was given a treatment to increase the amount of blood and platelet.

How did Mr. Azhar discover that he was one of the patients of Hepatitis B…

I found out that I had hepatitis after the demise of my parents due to liver cancer

and I was advised by a doctor to get a medical check-up, in which after that, I was diagnosed with Hepatitis B.

10 years ago, my late father didn't know that he had Hepatitis B.

He only knew about his illness at the last moments, when it was too late,

so it was difficult for the doctors to cure him since his condition was already critical.

I watched him vomit and excrete blood,

and he was admitted to the hospital for a month.

He eventually passed away at Hospital Besar Kuala Lumpur.

How was Mr. Azhar's condition during his critical moments…

When I had a chronic liver, I spent most of my time at the hospital,

receiving treatments and I was extremely exhausted physically.

After receiving treatments from Al-Jabbar, praise be to Allah, I am now able to live my life normally again.

My condition was chronic since I was suffering from liver cirrhosis, where the liver shrivelled.

Liver cirrhosis is when the surface of the liver becomes rough like the peels of oranges.

When we have liver cirrhosis, every system in the body will not function well,

so there will be times when we will experience the swelling of veins, oesophagus.

And most of the time, at certain level, liver cirrhosis can cause someone to vomit blood

due to the swollen blood vessels within the oesophagus.

without us knowing, since no symptom can be seen at the early stage.

And I hope those out there can spare some time to go for medical check-ups

to make sure that you are free of any kind of viruses, especially hepatitis,

because this illness can also affect your children and grandchildren.

I hope you will take lessons from my experience,

and praise be to Allah, for the illness that I once had has been cured

as a result of my efforts.

I'd known since the year 2001 that I actually had liver cirrhosis where the liver began to harden.

I had gone to many places, and each time I went it would cost me nearly MYR4000 (USD1025),

but there seemed to be no changes. They'd recommended me to take this medication and see what would happen.

Praise be to Allah, gradually my body seemed to regain its energy.

Now, if anyone says that he/she has liver illness, I will definitely recommend this product.

I'd known that I was a carrier of Hepatitis B ever since I was pregnant with my first child.

When I found out that I had the illness, there was really nothing I could do but cry.

Then, we went to a private clinic, and the doctor advised me to take some kind of pills made in India.

So I took the medication for 4 years, until I was pregnant with my third and then later fourth child.

I had to get a blood test with every pregnancy,

and each time the doctor would say the virus was active, that I was the carrier of the illness.

In 2006, I read an article which said that Al-Jabbar had produced a medication that could cure the illness.

and I thought I should give it a try.

One of the staff told me to get my blood tested after 2 months,

but I went for the test on the third month,

and I was happy with the result which showed that my condition had gone from hepatitis b carrier to normal patient.

Also, based on the result of the blood test, the virus had decreased a lot and I am closer to becoming healthy again.

I am grateful for I have found the solution.

I had a disease affecting the liver when I was in Form 5 (High School).

I was always feeling unwell and every time I ate I felt like vomiting.

I always had painful joints, and I also frequently felt dizzy

but when I went to see the doctors, they would tell me that I had a migraine or gastric pain,

and when I took medications prescribed by the doctors, there were no effects.

My mother took me to a private clinic, homeopathy,

and he said that I had some problems with my liver but it was still at an early stage,

he could not say for sure whether I was having Hepatitis A, B, or C,

but he only told me to take precautions as to avoid it from becoming worst,

and my mother was worried as well.

One day, she saw an advertisement by Al-Jabbar.

At first, I refused to take the medication because I was still at an early stage.

Besides, I knew that the medication was expensive.

But my mother said that the price didn't matter and she was worried that I couldn't focus on studying for SPM (Exam).

So I took the medication continuously.

The doctor said that I was healthy and normal.

Praise be to Allah, ever since then I no longer experience painful joints and I can eat normally again.

I am feeling much healthier.

because to me, there's no need for people with these illnesses to get a surgery

since there will be risks to take and it'll cost a lot as well.

My sister noticed it, and so did my mother, that his stomach was distended.

I hadn't had a small child for a long time,

but what we noticed was that he frequently defecated and urinated,

because he loves to eat,

but then he would lose those weight again due to fever.

There was one time that he had a fever for 3 weeks.

We took him to the clinic a few times but he still didn't get better.

So, I felt the need to get the doctor's advice at that time.

Then, the doctor did a check-up on him,

and he said that his liver had increased in size.

However, the doctor also said that it was advisable to consult another doctor and get a second opinion.

So the doctor said that he was going to refer us to a hospital,

either the one in Kajang or Putrajaya.

The doctor decided to refer us to the one in Kajang,

because according to him the doctors there were specialists compared to the one in Putrajaya.

And so we went to the hospital and our son was admitted that very night.

Even the doctors were shocked at that time.

The doctors found that his liver was three times bigger than normal children.

So he stayed in the paediatric ward for 11 days.

He had to get blood tests every day, take medications, etc. He also started to have fever.

I mean, even healthy kids who are admitted to a hospital will end up having a fever, isn't it?

They took a lot of his blood and tested it.

Firstly, they suspected thalassemia, but when they ran a test, it wasn't thalassemia.

And then, they ran a test for hepatitis, but it wasn't hepatitis either.

Anyway, they ran a lot of tests for every possible disease, but they couldn't find what it was

until one doctor said to me that they had never dealt with such a case before.

I asked the doctor whether he was able to cure my son or not,

but the doctor's answer was uncertain.

So I said if the doctor wasn't sure about it, then it would be better for me to bring my son out of the hospital.

I was willing to take the risks. If we let him stay at the hospital, the doctor wasn't sure of what to do with him.

Besides, I did learn a bit about herbs, and these herbs are food for cells in or bodies.

So, we must think of other alternatives for this problem, that's why we took him out of the hospital.

My husband didn't give up so he kept on searching for an alternative,

until he found information on Al-Jabbar and he told me about it.

My husband said he wanted to give it a try.

His defecation seemed okay at that time but I thought we should give it a try anyway.

So, after consuming nearly 2 bottles, we could see his stomach had flattened a bit.

is I had chronic problems, digestive issues, stress, all these different things never thought

a chiropractor would be able to help with.

And they all miraculously went away.

So I knew then like I had to share this first and foremost with my family and friends and

then with the surrounding community.

So the patient became the doctor?

Pretty much.

That's really cool.

When you got into the chiropractic field, and you know you are going to school and another

thing, what methodology did you start to kind of lean toward and why?

So that took me out quite out of a journey set.

That was when I first started getting adjusted networking for the chiropractor, all I knew

is what that guy did for me.

How he adjusted me so that's all I knew.

But the one thing that kind of set things apart, people got well.

A lot of people got well but still people had questions.

So they didn't feel like they are getting their questions answered.

By the chiropractor, No, if against him they still had questions.

It was, and I just kept list because I would see every patient for a couple of minutes

before the chiropractor would come in.

So time and time again, more and more people just more questions.

So I just kind of had a drive to find a technique, a specific technique that could maybe answer

those questions.

Or further studies that I could do to get to the answers for those questions for those

people.

So I could help definitely many people.

Okay, and what was that method?

So during school year while I had so many different at Logan, here in Chastitute* in

Missouri, we are allowed to, there are so many techniques that your subjected, not subjected

to but then you can take as an elective.

So I tried many different techniques.

And the one that just stood out and, was a no brainer for me.

Was code SOT.

So SOT, the abbreviation for SOT is sacro occipital technique.

So it's a very thorough technique.

So there's a lot of cheque and balances.

So, it's very specific to the patient when they come in, so there is a needs in assessing

what exactly needs to be addressed that day.

And then once we address it then the indicators that we look for go away, so we know that

we made progression for that day.

So again it's like the checks and balances, but its encompassing all techniques so now

that we are addressing anything from your cranium down to your feet and everywhere in

between, that organ function, it looks to a little bit of everything.

And again its checks and balances.

So we know we are making the corrections and the patient can see the corrections as we

go on.

Okay, okay.

Along with it as SOT method is there anything else that you incorporate with that?

We do, so when individuals come in with specific complaints, we take care of them within the

chiropractic world, as best we can, and then if they don't respond as we expect them

to, or if they have further issues, digestive issues, diarrhea issues, whatever they may

have, then we can look at further testing such as blood work or saliva testing to look

at we call functional medicine , to look at this function before it gets to pathology,

they might not get in a medical model, so then we can address it through dietary changes,

and supplementation and try to help them so that then they can get over those hurdles

and like I said earlier with the questions that people had , that is one of the major

stepping stones that I found to help my patients even more , this is the functional medicine

and other services that we offer in our office.

You can look at and tell when a person has somethings going wrong but they are not at

emergency room level yet.

Correct.

You can kind of take that one off and get that back in order so that they don't have

to go to the ER.

Ideally.

Okay.

If we can understand their symptoms, how they are responding to care, my chiropractic stand

point.

So when their symptoms aren't changing and they are having other symptoms, so it's

kind of very unique to that individual and then based on that we never can diagnose anything lower back pain, neck pain, overweight, nerve damage, sports injuries....

or treat anything.

But we can support normal processes throughout the body with those things that I just mentioned

with dietary changes supplementation.

So we allow the body to heal itself.

But again before it gets to pathology like you said before they are in the hospital,

hopefully helping them before they even get to that point.

Okay, great.

Now what if you have a patient of yours who is actually under doctor care for let's

say diabetes.

Is there anything that you can help them with as far as along those lines?

Absolutely.

So when we look at chiropractic, and what we do as chiropractors, is we free up nerve

interference.

So if there's misalignment within the spine, anywhere in the spine it can interfere with

the nerves that come out of that level, a lot of times it's in the areas of say your

pancreas.

So your pancreases secrete insulin when you eat.

So a lot of diabetics have a problem with insulin.

So if we start with a chiropractic, part of it making sure that the nervous system is

functioning properly, that's kind of the baseline, absolutely we'll start there.

But then we can also look at supplementation and dietary changes to definitely support

the diabetes whichever one it is if it's in type one or type two.

And work directly with the doctors too.

So sometimes people are allowed, no, not allowed.

Sometimes people when they start balancing things out they don't need their meds as

much.

Or sometimes they have been able to get off their meds.

And that's something that we tell them up front, like we can't tell you anything about

your medicines, like you have to follow up with your medical doctor for that.

And there is nothing that I could tell you about your meds.

But we will help support all the other areas and so forth normal processes in your body,

we are not treating anything.

Okay.

Have you addressed any other type of problems that people have like you know like ADHD or

you know other things that are kind of common in our world today?

So a lot of times what we find they are thyroid issues.

So a lot of thyroid issues allow auto immune issues.

A lot of digestive issues.

IBS which is kind of a blanket for your bowel dysfunction we don't know what's wrong

with him.

Collits, Crohns disease.

So a lot of digestive, thyroid, blood sugar.

Also a big one right now is SEBO, small Intestine bacterial overgrowth.

So all of these things, allergies, like food intolerances.

So there's many different things that people come in with, that we've been able to help

with. We helped so many people with not just lower back pain, but many other ailments, such has foot pain, neck pain and many other issues

Wow, that's awesome.

Now, looking at your office you are the chiropractor and of course you address things to the nutritional

level, sort of things are there any other services that you offer here?

We do.

So massage therapy, we have a great massage therapist.

And we have an acupuncturist.

So she practices Chinese medicine.

So both of those kind of go hand in hand with the chiropractic what we are looking at the

entire body, and how everything's connected.

And how we can better balance that system with all those different various techniques

and services.

For almost 50 years, British Columbia had a dozen opium dispensaries in several

cities paying high fees to government. The opium was mild and cheap; there were

few social problems. But the Canadian government rescued British Columbia from

its errors by making opium illegal. Business people were now labelled

criminals. Without access to courts they had to enforce contracts on their own

through violence. Smuggling required concentrated product.

Opium became morphine, became heroin, became fentanyl. Prohibition restricted

supply which raised prices and created windfall profits for criminals and a

lucrative business model. Get one person addicted and you get an annuity for life.

To pay for increased prices addicted people resorted to prostitution and

theft. Since stolen goods only get ten cents on

the dollar they had to steal ten times as much value to pay their bills.

Businesses lost inventory and hired security guards. Citizens locked their

doors, bought costly security systems and demanded increased police budgets. Was

Ottawa successful? Today around 1 billion dollars in illegal drugs are sold in

British Columbia each year. Police are unable, sometimes unwilling, to shut down

well-funded crime groups that include some of the most vicious criminals.

Schoolchildren get drugs delivered faster than pizzas. It costs $100,000 to

keep a dealer or addict in jail for one year. Jails are institutions of higher

learning for drug criminals. Housed and fed in a safe environment, many

relationships are formed there. They learn from each other how to be more

effective criminals and they have high status when they're released. All paid

for by you the tax payer. Our emergency services are so busy

dealing with addiction that services to the general population has suffered.

Terrorists gained control of drug production in Afghanistan and other

countries. Profits were used to undermine local governments and ultimately attack

the West. Drug laws play a role in funding terrorists. Enormous profits

glamourize criminality, attracting more young people. They make so much money

gang members are willing to shoot each other on the street for it. 1,000 British

Columbians die of overdose every year because the government can't ensure the

quality of an illegal product. Several teenagers die every month. The drug

problem reveals weaknesses in democracy. Our majority rules system marginalizes

minority groups and caters to a superiority complex. The worse the

problem gets the more knee-jerk the reaction is. Voters demand simplistic

solutions that make the problem worse. 12 years ago,

as Mayor of Vancouver, I proposed a solution CAST Chronic Addiction

Substitution Treatment. Its main goal to eliminate organised crime by taking away

its profits. The best way to kill an industry is called dumping. Under CAST

if anyone becomes addicted the government immediately takes over the

supply depriving criminals of their money. This type of program has operated

in Switzerland since 1998. Vancouver has a program but with too few people. What

if the 'government-knows-best' moralists had not decided to save us in 1908. Would

we still have opium dispensaries operating without social problems?

Contributing not taking away from our tax dollars? Let us stop this costly and

destructive path we've been on for over a hundred years

and restore health to our communities.
