so this is the ancient Academy of the Eternals to see today is a void woken

stares intently at you this creature seems different it sways

with a sinewy purpose intelligence Clint's in its eyes

what you were told hangs in the air like a noxious cloud the void will come or

eternals Rob to their source in order to create you they allied themselves with a

void so they could return

it looks to me like they do just about anything to survive the mark of

civilization is knowing when it's your turn to lay down so that others may live

I can understand their anger if not their methods revenge should be exact

not indiscriminate what they pursued they pursued for power which is what

they're doing still one has to admire their tenacity

an ancient library was it you are Leonard rule you are a God woken and a

thief you keep your secrets well even from

yourself you are Leonard rule God woken thief if you can't earn a place in Lucy

and shadow you're going to steal it you think you'll find advantage in the

Forbidden Library but first you have to steal the keys your tutors have one each

but you can't risk getting caught you'll earn yourself a trip to the Chancellor's

chamber one from which you suspect you would not return your best friend red

Alice was your rival you knew that he was weak you made sure the Chancellor

knew it too and while your friend was in the Chancellor's secret room you stole

the capacitor from the Chancellor's own table but then you heard a noise you

heard the sound of your best friend's murder you fled you hit the capacitors

you had taken and set out to steal the rest you were lurking here plotting when

you were overtaken with a sense of love you felt at peace you felt Lucien's hand

on your shoulder you did not feel the sword blade enter your back a hunger

rises deep within you a desire for the spirit source this yearning is not yours

but it demands satisfaction rather than face the truth his mind shuts down and

his life flashes before his eyes and yours Lucien

taking his life his search for the capacitors his journey to the mountain

his mother who loved him so the hunger deep inside you will be sated but not

for long it once more it wants so much more

you cause Lucian was the divine why would he want to harm anyone in the

academy from where his successor ought to rise the tale is all this time he

secured this place and didn't want any upstarts to come after it even an

assassin like myself four coils from a divine rejoicing in slaughter to rule is

to be ruthless when the occasion calls for it the occasion simply must have

cooled the ghosts memories easily into your mind

his name is candle and he thinks he's ready to ascend he thinks he can be God

woken ready to step up should Lucy and lose the war he's wrong

he'll die he did die before he even made it to the chancellor to asked for

permission to fight in the arena of the one and what's more he was murdered

you are candle and you are you believe ready to step up your tutors disagree

but you want the Chancellor to hear your case instead you find a man you've never

met the great and powerful sorcerer and as his shadow falls upon you you realize

that this is Lucy in the divine himself he gives you a smile of the utmost

benevolence and grace and you realize as candor that you are far from ready you

turn and flee towards the library to warn your tutors but Lucian is too fast

he cuts you down your candor the god woken dead by the hand of the divine too

late he realizes what you're about to do and with a cry of horror he is gone

the spirit of a rather old man daughters around seemingly oblivious to the

condition of the room he turns and offers you a genial smile a new student

I admire your enthusiasm but I'm just about to close the gallery for the

evening you'll have to return in the morning

the ghost Franz with confusion then wags a reprimanding finger at you you're new

so I won't report your insolence but you had better learn some manners if you

hope to make use of the gallery all the power that God will Candide are

documented in these tours the gallery is the most important part of the wall

Academy as far as I'm concerned I will not allow it to be disrespected re a

master threatening curator of the gallery and be here at your service of

course as you carry out your studies but there's time for that yet I'm closing

for the day does this end oh come now surely you must have heard

of the gallery that's the repository for the guard walking halls

I will not allow it to be disrespected

her memories flow into you as water to a stream you are Terry and gray you are

god woken but you will not be divine you know this because you are in love with a

colleague and rival you are in love with redness and he is enough review you have

agreed to leave the Academy together but now read less is missing red alerts

went to see the Chancellor and you have not seen him since you're on your way to

the Chancellor's chambers when a man's voice calls your name Lucy in the divine

cups your chin and a gentle pain stabs your heart Lucy and smiles at you and

then he's gone and you worry so for red 'less believing it comes from her own

mind she realizes the truth she was murdered by Lucy in the divine red Alice

too must be dead or he would have come for her by now she bowed her head and

cries she knows Regulus went to see the Chancellor in his chambers she did not

know that Lucian was already there she weeps

I thought I'd seen everything

anin Compton still and silent before you a faint glow pulsates from within its

chest cavity dormant perhaps a compartment in the side of the

contraption appears to be empty there's a part missing the capacitor sparks and

fizzles then the pulsating light begins circulating throughout the automata it

rises the automaton looms above you alone glowing I takes you in

dispassionately hello God woken the automaton peers in close at your face

you are a fine specimen most fine your arrival is long overdue this is the

Academy it is a place of great learning I am the sinner shall I serve both those

who teach and those who come to learn those like you allow me to show you the

Academy exists to her to help unveil the divine from amongst the God woken

you must enter the temple then prove yourself in the arena of the one it's

quite soon defeat all others the central falls silent for a long moment as if

processing this question is quite taxing on its cognitive faculties it seems I

was interfered with my power supply was removed through force the perpetrator is

unclear in activity has caused further damage I cannot access my full faculties

unfortunate but I shall help you however possible God will concede usually be

able to pass freely whoever tampered would have interfered with the Academy

in other ways apologies God woken I trust you will be

able to overcome any difficulties

the spirit of a lizard is seated before you weeping profusely she looks up at

you moist I'd got woken can it be true am i

dead the spirits distraught expression slides away in an instant revealing that

of a highly composed and thoroughly unimpressed lizard spirit well at least

you tried time for one last lesson in finesse I

think I'll have my work cut out for me with you

true finesse requires dedication however sacrifice in order to receive my

aid some other area of study must suffer a little your wit it is done I hope it

helps God woken the world needs someone like you I think I'm missing something

here

his memory comes to you like hound to master your name is read Alice and you

are God woken which you know that you can never be divine you are in love with

Terry in your rival and that love makes you weak you hear rumors of a God king

who would free you to be with terian you seek the chancellor's knowledge of this

king but when you find the Chancellor he lies dead a figure stands over him

Lucian the great divine he smiles at you and bid you approach him he lays a hand

upon your shoulder and his blade slices your gut as you fall Paul read 'less you

know that you will never see your terian again read ELISA wakens as if from a

daze he takes what would have been a breath were he's still alive and breaks

into a run

the lovers stare into each other's eyes together at last

terian registers your presence for the first time she smiles at you ingratitude

redness gives you a nod of acknowledgement you know they'll leave

now for the Hall of echoes they turn to each other

so this is it the temple of the one

journey is almost done

vile sniveling little beast how dare you how dare you reject us how many times

did I have to tell you I eternal perhaps I should thank you if not for your

cruelty I would not have met him if not for your crimes I would never have been

reunited with my people but now now I am and soon soon you will be torn to pieces

hey there chief miss me as it turns out when one friend turns

their back on you another turns toward you with open arms

you left me to die the god-king offered me a new life quite an easy choice of

allegiances isn't it good luck of course you're going to need

it badly

much to your surprise you encounter if aunt been meds once more but wasn't he

dead alive I am far from alive I am sworn to the Covenant and you too would

be far from alive after I faced you in the arena of the one he smokes and

something awful glitters in the void behind his eyes something you never saw

there before something you hoped never to see again

Alexander offers only a stoic nod in affirmation his eyes glaring intensely

this is how it is meant to be how my father intended it to be even here he

guides me to my destiny of course he did every God woken here was a threat to his

legacy so he did away with them now once I'm rid of you I will be free to succeed

him I am destined to be the divine don't try to meddle with destiny Alexander's

resolve visibly crumbles under the force of your words when he speaks his voice

is a croak it's a curse to be a great man's son you know truly a curse how

could I ever hope to lead the world out of darkness when I can't even escape my

father's shadow someone stronger than me needs to become

the next divine of River lon I think you have what it takes I will do everything

and instead you're still you least you managed to murder one of the seven I've

never seen anything so let's talk about this later I need to rest still one big

jump to go but I'll have to wait she casts her gaze around taking in the

streaming blueish ether she breathes a deep ragged breath at least it's quite

quite beautiful here isn't it I'm going to take a rest

sort myself out suggest you do the same speak to the ship if you need me she'll

Argus Phantheon Trinkets | How They Work Explanation Guide - Duration: 5:28.

Hello and welcome back to another video. In today's video we are gonna talk about the

new Phantheon trinkets that will be introduced with Antorus The Burning Throne Raid. This

purpose of this video won't be theorycrafting but instead focus on how the trinkets work.

However If you are interested in the theorycrafting part of the trinkets than I would highly suggest

you to check out Archimitiros on twitter, his social media will be down below. Before

we jump into the video keep in mind that everything we talk about today can still end up being

changed before before and after it goes live. So without further ado let's jump into the

video. [INTRO]

The Phantheon trinkets can drop from Argus the Unmaker which is the last boss in Antorus

the burning throne, and can drop on all difficulties except on LFR, which does kinda make sense.

Let me know down in the description below what your thought are. There are in total

5 Phantheon trinkets + one legendary. So let's take a look.

Aggramar's Conviction is the tanking trinket and has a chance to increase your versatility

for 15 secs, and when empowered by the phantheon it will increase your health and fully heal

you. I will get back to how you get your trinkets empowered later in this video.

Eonar's Compassion is the healing version of the trinket and it has a chance to grow

an emerald blossom nearby which heals a random injured ally every 2 sec for 12 seconds. When

it gets empowered your next 4 direct healing spells will grant a shield preventing damage

for an a x amount for 30 seconds. Golganneth's Vitality is the trinket for

agility users and it has a chance to create a ravaging storm at your target's location

which inflects nature damage split among all enemies within 6 yards for 6 seconds. When

empowered your autoattack can cause an explosion of light dealing nature damage to all enimies

within 8 yards for 15 seconds. Khaz'gorath's Courage is the

strength version of the trinket and your attacks has a chante to make your weapon glow hot

with the fire of khaz'goroth's forge causing your autoattacks dealing additional fire damage

for 12 seconds. When empowered your critical strike, haste, mastery or versat ility will

inscrease for 12 seconds depending on which stat is your highest.

Norgannon's Prowess is the caster version of the trinket, it has a chance to increase

your intellect by X amount for 12 seconds. When empowered you will gain 6 charges of

Norgannon's command for 15 seconds, your damaging spells will expend a charge to inflict

an additional X amount of damage to the target from a random school of magic.

The last trinket is Aman'thul's vision and is the legendary trinket. Its pretty much

a arcanocrystal 2.0 and it has a chance to grant you speed, avoidance, and leech for

12 seconds. When empowered you agility/strength/intellect will inscrease for 15 seconds.

All 5 trinkets will have an ilvl of 940 which can be upgraded to ilvl 1000 which we will

be talking about later in the video. So, these are the trinket that can drop from

Argus the unmaker, and you might be thinking, well that's fine and all, but how do I exactly

empower my trinket. So let's take a look.

The way you empower your trinket is by having at least 4 trinkets to proc within the same

proc chain. If your trinket didn't proc but let's say the 4 other people got theirs

to proc than your trinket wouldn't get empowered. It dosen't matter if it's 4 of the same

trinkets or 4 different ones that proc. This can still get changed since you did need 4

different trinket to proc in the previous PTR build so keep that in mind.

Argus the unmaker will also be dropping Pantheon's blessing which is an item that will allow

you to upgrade your trinket with 5 ilvls, it seems like it's a personal drop similar

to the crystallized fel from warlords of dreanor. This means that the ilvls will be gated and

you will become stronger for each week that goes by. So it does acts like a soft nerf

to the bosses and the more trinkets your raid group gets the stronger all of you will become

because this will result in more trinket procs. The item can drop from all difficulties accourding

to the dungeon journal and seems to be personal loot which would be limited to 1 each week.

If there are any new updates to the trinkets, make sure to check the comment section down

below and I will be making a updated video once the trinkets goes live and it has been

tested . So this was a video about the new Phanthon

trinkets, if you enjoyed the video make sure to leave a like and don't forget to subscribe

if you haven't already. Thank you for watching, and I will hopefully see you in the next video.

A-10A for DCS Short Guide #1 - Startup, Taxi, Takeoff Procedure - Duration: 3:36.

Hello folks, this is Ketchup, and welcome to the first video of the A-10A short guide

series, covering the Startup, Taxi, and Takeoff Procedures.

First, turn on your electric systems by RShift & L. Toggle the cockpit lights with L if you're

flying in low-light conditions.

Next, open the rearm/refuel menu with LAlt & 'Apostrophe'.

Please note that FC3 planes must have engines fully shut down to rearm/refuel.

Edit the flare, chaff, gun ammo, all that sorts as desired.

The preset loadouts are created prior in the Mission Editor, which I'll cover in a separate

video.

Whilst waiting for the ground crew to finish rearm/refuel, turn on your wingtip navigation

lights with RCtrl & L, then check your wingtips to confirm.

Switch on the nosegear light with RAlt & L, and cycle between landing, off, or taxi lights.

Once the ground crew announced rearm complete, set your throttle to idle, and start both

engines by pressing RShift & Home, or start individually with RAlt or RCtrl for left or

right respectively.

Note however that the engines will spool up invidually regardless.

Close the canopy with LCtrl & C. As the first engine comes to life, we'll set takeoff flaps

by LShift & F once.

You can also bring up the controls overlay with RCtrl & Enter.

For those laptop users like me I suggest using RCtrl + 1/2/3 for starting left, right, or

both, and RAlt to shut down accordingly.

Wait until both engines idle out around 60 RPM, and the APU shuts down.

Begin taxi by throttling up to overcome the inertia, and using Z or X for left/right rudder.

Maintain taxi speed using taxiway reference of 1-2 lines passing your cockpit per second.

Use wheel brake W when slowing down or making a tight turn.

Switch off AI reports with RShift & \ should you find the AI allied reports too annoying.

Stop at the runway hold line once you're there, and check for any traffic on both ends, visually

and using the F10 map.

If clear take the active on runway and announce it if in multiplayer.

Do NOT use AI ATC

For takeoff, cycle the nosegear light to landing.

The A-10 carries an ECM jammer pod on the left wing station and AIM-9s on the right,

causing an asymmetrical left yaw on takeoff.

Trim your rudder twice to the right with RCtrl & X (Z if left trim) to counteract this unbalanced

loadout.

There's no indication to how much trim you applied, so remember carefully.

Once lined up on centerline, hold wheel brake and move to full throttle.

Release when ready and apply rudder adjustments to keep centered on runway.

As you go faster the trim will ease the left yaw.

Rotate around 130-140kt, hold no more than 10 degree pitch and let the plane lift itself

off the runway.

Retract gear with G, and flaps up with LCtrl & F. Maintain 5 degree climb and turn off

the wingtip lights.

That is it!

Everything you need to know to get your bird up in the air.

There's a ton of keybinds mentioned in this video, but don't worry; I've copied all of

them down in the description below, and some suggestions.

In the next video we'll cover the limited but very useful autopilot, as well as waypoint

navigations so you won't get lost into bloody Russia.

Until next time, good luck, stay safe, and enjoy your flight.

4x4 Offroading in Wanganui - New Zealand's Biggest Gap Year – Backpacker Guide New Zealand - Duration: 7:22.

Today we are doing a crazy offroading experience over the Wanganui Sand dunes.

This morning we wake up at the 42b college house hostel and we head straight away for

the Wanganui sand dunes.

We were scratching our heads with Laura on what what to do to explore the sand dunes

in a very fun way. and how rough is it going to be?

As rough as you want to make it or as smooth as you want to make it.

then we heard about this crazy guy that has a 4x4 and goes nuts in the sand dunes so Laura

and I just couldn't resist.

Believe it or not, Warwick is 70 years old and he still drives like a crazy man.

We're jumping into the Can-Em 4x4 offroading truck with Warwick and we are heading for

the sand dunes on the back of Wanganui South Beach and there are trails already been made

in the sand dunes which go up and down.

there's flat sections sections with heaps of deep puddles.

I'm having to lift my feet as not to get totally splashed by them and it's just a crazy ride

from the get go.

It's really like being on a rollarcoaster on this 4x4 drive the sand dunes are going

everywhere, up down and there are small bumps and huge bumps and Warwick is really not slowing

down for any of them.

He's literally jumping over some of them at some point.

It's absolutely nuts.

So we are pushed back left and right and we just trying to hang onto the truck and the

cameras.

It's just really crazy.

The vehicle that we're in right now is a Can-em 4x4 and Warwick used to race these professionally

back in his hey day.

So Warwick stops us a few times to tell us about the fascinating history of the area

including some head tradings that happened between the Maori tribes here and the European

Settlers.

So Warwick took the time to ask us multiple times if we were ok with speed and if that

was not a problem for him to actually kind of speed up right.

And we told him that we are absolutely fine with it but you'd think that there'd be a

few things like some massive drops or even a forest that would make him slow down.

But no, he's just keep on speeding through the sand dunes and we really get to see the

entire coastline within this hour and a half that we spent with Warwick.

As we head toward the pine forest before making our way through it there is the sun beaming

through the trees.

I mean, it feels like nature has put on a show for us.

There is those beautiful sand dunes with all those native grass and there is one forest

right in the middle that we can just pass through and make our way and it just looks

absolutely amazing and well, we get a little bit of time to embrace it but you know as

mentioned Warwick just doesn't slow down.

He also really loves his truck.

He knows a lot of tricks with it and he really like to take a lot of freedom with it and

try a lot of things.

so every single time he's getting a chance, he's going to go off road and do some kind

of nuts stuff and well we are in the truck we are strapped in so we have to get along

with it.

After a wee while, Warwick tells us that we are going to head to a much flatter section

and to our surprise that's literally right on the beach.

Six months ago, that creek used to come out about 50 metres behind us now in the last

6 months its gradually moved down.

What will happen is that there'll be a big flood and it will break through again and

it will happen again.

So for a while now, we have been doing heaps of obstacles over the sand dunes but now we

have a flat section and beach ahead which means time to speed up.

So we really so how fast this thing can go and we just absolutely speeding down this

flat beach in Wanganui there's all this driftwood along the side a lot of still a few obstacle

s to get over with the driftwood but mainly this about speed.

He's even doing some donuts which is going round in circles and like drifting around

in the sand flicking the sand up on the side it's just we're just having heaps of fun right

now I am getting absolutely covered in sand.

Nice.

Cool.

Warwick is the coolest pensioner I know.

Alright so after spending what felt like an hour speeding on the beach it's time for us

to turn around and make our way back toward the town of Wanganui.

Warwick gives us a bit of a choice he tells us that we can either head bck to wanganui

through the beach or through the sand dune so we tell him that we really like both them

so he's kind of giving us half and half.

So we're speeding up along the beach for quite a wee while before hitting the sand dunes

again the forest again and making our way toward Wanganui through a bit of a dirt road.

It was an absolutely crazy way to explore the sand dunes of the area.

There is heaps to see here and i feel like it would have taken us days to see that much.

Laura.

What are you sitting on?

Well there wasn't any seats, there wasn't any seats outside so I found this ladder.

How comfortable are you?

My ass is in tatters right now.

How to Change Front Brake Pads and Rotors (Complete Guide) - Duration: 17:05.

BUNDYS GARAGE BUNDY HERE

TODAY WE ARE WORKING ON A INFINITI q60 2016

THIS WILL ACTUALLY COVER Q60 Q70 Q70L QX50 QX60

AND QX70 FROM MODEL YEAR 2014 2015 2016 AND 2017

WE'RE GONNA BE DOING THE FRONT BRAKES ON IT HE

SO FIRST THING YOU WANT TO DO IS GO AHEAD AND

LOOSEN UP YOUR FRONT LUG NUTS

THERE'S 5 LUG NUTS THERE 21MM SOCKET RIGHT

THERE I HAVE A HALF INCH BREAKER BAR THAT

WILL BREAK THESE OFF WITH RIGHTY TIGHTY LEFTEY

LOOSEY

YOU WANT TO DO THIS BEFORE YOU LIFT THE

VEHICLE UP

THERE'S ONE LUG NUT

WE HAVE ALL 5 LUG NUTS LOOSENED UP

NEXT THING YOU WANT TO DO IS GO BACK HERE

RIGHT HERE BELOW THE FENDER RIGHT BEHIND THE

WHEEL YOU'LL HAVE A LIFT POINT TO LIFT THE

VEHICLE UP ON BRING IN A FLOOR JACK

SO RIGHT BACK HERE IS THE LIFTING POINT

I'M GOING TO SHOW THAT TO YOU REAL QUICK

THERE IS THE FRONT WHEEL IF YOU COME RIGHT BACK

HERE YOU HAVE THIS LOWER PART PLASTIC

FACIA BOARD RIGHT HERE RUNNING BOARD IF

YOU WANT TO CALL IT THAT DO NOT LIFT THE

VEHICLE UP FROM THERE I REPEAT DO NOT LIFT THE

VEHICLE UP FROM THERE IF YOU GO IN A LITTLE BIT

FURTHER

YOU CAN SEE RIGHT HERE WHERE MY FINGER IS

THAT'S THE LIFTING POINT YOU WANT TO LIFT THE

VEHICLE UP ON DO NOT LIFT IT UP IN THIS PLASTIC

OR YOU WILL BREAK THIS PLASTIC AND POSSIBLY

CRUSH THE DOOR

LIFT THE INFINITI RIGHT HERE

ON MOST UNIBODY CARS YOU HAVE THIS SEEM

THIS WELD WHERE THEY PUT TWO BODY PANELS

TOGETHER THAT'S THE ONLY SPOT YOU WANT TO LIFT

THE MAXIMA UP FROM

SO AS YOU CAN SEE THE WHEEL IS OFF THE GROUND

GO BACK IN HERE AND TAKE ALL THE LUG NUTS OFF

WHEN WE TIGHTEN THESE BACK DOWN WE'LL TIGHTEN

THEM BACK DOWN TO 80 FOOT POUNDS

WITH A TORQUE WRENCH GOING IN A STAT PATTEN

WHEN I SAY STAR PATTERN I MEAN

THIS WOULD BE

ONE

TWO

THREE

FOUR

FIVE

THAT'S YOUR STAR PATTERN

WHEN YOU TIGHTEN THE WHEELS BACK DOWN

NISSAN BRAKE JOBS ARE PRETTY SIMPLE NOT

VERY HARD TO DO AT ALL RIGHT HERE YOU HAVE YOUR

BRAKE PAD

THIS IS YOUR BRAKE CALIPER

YOUR BRAKE CALIPER BRACKET

AND THIS IS YOUR ROTOR

YOU HAVE TWO OPTIONS WHEN IT COMES TO THE

BRAKE ROTORS

YOU CAN EITHER TAKE THE ROTOR AND HAVE IT

RESURFACED

ALSO KNOWN AS HAVING IT TURNED

YOU HAVE IT TURNED THEY TAKE IT TO A MACHINE

CALLED A LATHE A BRAKE LATHE

AND THEY ACTUALLY CUT A NEW GROOVE INTO

THE ROTOR YOUR SECOND OPTION IS TO HAVE

BRAND NEW ROTORS PUT ON

IT'S MORE ECONOMICALLY VIABLE

TO HAVE A BRAKE ROTOR TURNED THEN IT IS TO

HAVE NEW ROTORS PURCHASED

ALSO ANOTHER THING TO CONSIDER

HERE ON THE LEFT IS AN OLD

UNSURFACED ROTOR HERE ON THE RIGHT

IS THE SAME EXACT ROTOR BUT RESURFACED

SO WHEN THEY GO IN THERE THEY CUT DOWN ANY

ANY IMPERFECTIONS OR WAVES IN THE METAL

SO IF YOU THINK ABOUT IT

AFTER MANY MANY HEAT CYCLES

WITH THE BRAKE PAD WEARING DOWN ON THE ROTOR

CAUSE THE ROTORS ARE STOPPING A 3,000 POUND

VEHICLE YOU GET WAVES IN THE METAL

AND IF YOU HAVE EVER PUT YOUR FOOT ON THE BRAKE

IF YOU HAVE EVER FELT YOUR BRAKE PEDAL

PULSATE WHEN YOUR BRAKING THAT'S THE WAVE 3:28

YOUR FEELING INSIDE THE ROTOR

TO GET RID OF THAT WAVE

THEY GO INT THERE THEY CUT A NEW SURFACE

ONTO THE BRAKE ROTOR

THESE ROTORS HEAT UP MULTIPLE TIMES

THOUSANDS OF MULTIPLE TIMES DURING AH

DURING THE LIFE OF A ROTOR IF YOU WANT TO CALL IT

THAT

SO THIS ROTOR HAS ALREADY SEEN HOT AND COLD

CYCLES IT'S BEEN SEASONED SO I THINK YOUR BETTER

OFF GETTING A ROTOR TURNED THEN BUYING

NEW ROTORS BECAUSE A SEASONED ROTOR

HAS ALREADY SEEN THE HEAT CYCLES AND

PROBABLY ISN'T GOING TO FLUCTUATE

THAT MUCH AS OPPOSED TO A BRAND NEW ROTOR

CAUSE I HAVE SEEN BRAND NEW ROTORS AFTER

300 MILES ALREADY HAVE A PULSATING IN THE BRAKE

IN THE BRAKE PEDAL YOU CAN HAVE ROTORS

TURNED AT MOST MAJOR AUTOMOTIVE STORES

JUST CALL BEFORE YOU BRING IT THERE

SEE HOW LONG IT WILL TAKE CAUSE YOUR

VEHICLE WILL BE INOPERABLE AS LONG AS THERE

TURNING THE ROTORS AS FAR AS SAVING MONEY

YOU WILL SAVE MORE MONEY HAVING YOUR

ROTORS TURNED THEN BUYING NEW ONES

BEST PRACTICE IS TO HAVE YOUR ROTORS

TURNED THEN TO LEAVE THEM LIKE THIS

WHEN YOUR DOING A BRAKE DOING A BRAKE JOB

ALRIGHT THERE'S MY IN DEPTH DISCUSSION

MY THEOLOGICAL DISCUSSION ON BRAKE ROTORS

SO RIGHT HERE YOU HAVE THE CALIPER BOLTS

BRAKE CALIPER BOLTS ONE HERE

ONE HERE AS WELL

14MM RIGHTY TIGHTY LEFTY LOOSEY

GETS THESE OUT

ONCE YOU GET THESE LOOSE

RIGHT INSIDE HERE YOU HAVE A PIN THAT GOES INTO

THE

BRACKET FOR THE BRAKE CALIPER

IT ACTUALLY HELPS THE BRAKE CALIPER SLIDE

SO YOU ACTUALLY NEED TO GO IN THERE

AND GREASE THIS GREASE THIS SECTION UP I'LL

SHOW YOU HOW TO DO THAT RIGHT NOW

SO RIGHT HERE PUTTING THE WRENCH ON THE

CALIPER BOLT KNOCK IT OPEN WITH MY HAND

THAT GETS IT LOOSE THAT WAY WE'LL BE ABLE TO

GET THE CALIPER OUT

SO THERE'S ONE OF THEM

SO I TOOK THE BRAKE CALIPER OFF AND RIGHT HERE

THIS IS THE BRAKE PAD THIS IS THE OTHER BRAKE PAD

OUTER ONE INNER ONE

SO RIGHT HERE YOU HAVE THESE BRAKE PAD PINS

THESE PINS ACTUALLY PUSH OUT ON THE BRAKE PADS

SO YOU DON'T GET THAT SQUEAKING

YOU KNOW BINDING NOISE YOU SOMETIMES

EXPERIENCE

VERY NEAT DESIGN SO YOU JUST PULL THIS PIN OFF

STRAIGHT UP AND OUT

THAT PINS ARE EXACTLY THE SAME

YOU PULL THAT ONE OUT

EXACTLY THE SAME

RELIVES THE TENSION ON THERE

AND THEN YOU PULL THE BRAKE PAD STRAIGHT OUT

TOWARDS YOU

THERE'S ONE OF THE NISSAN BRAKE PADS

THERE'S THE SECOND NISSAN BRAKE PAD

NOW THAT YOU HAVE THE BRAKE PADS OFF

IF YOU WANT TO CHANGE THE ROTOR OUT

WHICH I'M ACTUALLY NOT GOING TO DO

I KNOW I GAVE THAT WHOLE SPEECH

ABOUT CHANGING OUT YOUR ROTOR AND GETTING

RESURFACED OR REPLACING THE ROTORS WITH NEW

ONES

THIS NISSAN DOESN'T HAVE THAT MANY MILES

ON IT I WANTED TO SHOW YOU GUYS MORE OF

HOW TO DO THIS THAN ACTUALLY DOING IT SO I

APOLOGIZE BUT THIS ROTOR IS ACTUALLY ALREADY

FREE UNLIKE A HONDA OR A TOYOTA YOU DON'T HAVE

A PIN OR A SCREW IN HERE THAT NEEDS TO BE

THAT'S NEEDS TO BE TAKEN OUT BEFORE YOU CAN

ACTUALLY GET THE ROTOR FREE

SO IF I GRAD THIS ROTOR YOU CAN SEE THAT IT'S

ALREADY FREE

THE ONLY THING THAT'S HOLDING IT UP IS THIS BRAKE

CALIPER BRACKET

IF THIS ROTOR WAS STUCK ON HERE A LITTLE

BIT ALL YOU WOULD HAVE TO DO TAKE A HAMMER

TAKE A BALL PEN HAMMER

TAP IT

INSIDE HERE

TO GET THE ROTOR FREE

BUT TO GET THIS BRAKE CALIPER BRACKET OFF

YOU HAVE TWO 22MM BOLTS ON THE BACK SIDE

LET ME TAKE YOU BACK THERE AND SHOW YOU

REAL QUICK ONE OF THE BRAKE CALIPER BRACKET

BOLTS IS HERE THE OTHER ONE IS HERE

22MM GETS THESE BOLTS OFF

THERE HUGE YOU WANT TO TORQUE THESE BOLTS

DOWN WHEN YOU PUT THEM BACK ON TO ABOUT

100 FOOT POUNDS

OK

THIS IS THE OTHER BOLT RIGHT THERE

RIGHT IN HERE ARE THE SLIDES FOR THE

BRAKES PADS THE BRAKE PADS ACTUALLY SLIDE

IN HERE OK

SO YOU CAN SEE ONE BRAKE PAD IS RIGHT THERE

THE BRAKE PAD SITS RIGHT HERE

THIS BRAKE PAD ACTUALLY SLIDES BACK AND FORTH

ON THIS GUIDE

SO WHAT YOU WANT TO DO IS GET SOME BRAKE

PARTS CLEANER AND CLEAN THAT UP

AND THEN PUT SOME NAPA SYLI GLIDE ON THERE

WHICH I WILL SHOW YOU HERE IN A SECOND

AND THEN YOU COAT HERE HERE

AND ON THE BACKSIDE AS WELL

AND YOU ALSO WANT TO COAT

SO HERE'S THE BRAKE CALIPER PIN

THIS PIN ACTUALLY COMES OUT

YOU HAVE ONE ON TOP AND ONE ON THE BOTTOM

YOU ACTUALLY WANT TO PUT NAPA SIL-GLYDE

ON THESE PINS AS WELL

CAUSE THIS HELPS THE CALIPER SLIDE BACK AND

FORTH WHEN THE BRAKE PADS ENGAGE AND

THEN RELEASE

SO LET ME SHOW THAT TO YOU RIGHT NOW

HAVE O'REILLY BRAKE PARTS CLEANER

SPRAY IT RIGHT THERE

SPRAY ON TOP

TAKE A RAG

CLEAN THE SLIDE OUT YOU CAN SEE ALL THE

GREASE AND MUCK COMING OUT ALREADY

SEE WHO MUCH SHINER THAT LOOKS ALREADY

DO THE SAME ON THE TOP

AND THEN WE'LL DO IN ON THE BACKSIDE AS WELL

HERE'S ONE OF YOUR SLIDES RIGHT HERE

AND THEN SHOOT IT ON TOP

RIGHT ABOVE THIS THE ONE I'M WORKING ON RIGHT

HERE

A LITTLE DAB WILL DO YA ON THIS STUFF

NAPA SIL-GLYDE LUBRICATING COMPOUND

NON MELTING NON FREEZING NON GUMMING

WEATHER PROOFING FOR BRAKE PARTS

PREVENTS PAD SQUEEL SO YOU JUST TAKE A LITTLE

BIT ON YOUR FINGER JUST A LITTLE BIT

SEE JUST A LITTLE BIT LIKE THAT

AND YOU RUB IT COMING I'LL START AT THE VERY BACK

AND COME THIS WAY CAUSE I DO NOT WANT THIS

TO GET ON THE ROTOR OR THE SURFACE OF THE

BRAKE PAD THE FRICTION MATERIAL ON THE BRAKE

PADS SAME WITH ON TOP

GO AHEAD DO THIS ONE JUST A LITTLE BIT

AND GO ON THE BACK SIDE SORRY YOU CAN'T

SEE IT BUT I'M JUST PUTTING IT ON THE BACK SIDE

ON THE BOTTOM

AND NOW ON THE TOP

OK YOU WANT TO TAKE YOUR GUIDE PINS

PULL THOSE OUT

YOU CLEAN THE OLD GREASE OFF

YOU APPLY THE NEW GREASE DIRECTLY ONTO THE PIN

YOU SPREAD IT AROUND

WITH YOUR FINGER REPEAT THIS FOR THE PIN

ON THE BOTTOM AS WELL

A LOT OF TIMES WHY YOU SEE UNEVEN BRAKE

PAD WEAR IS BECAUSE SOMEONE DIDN'T

REMOVE THE OLD GREASE AND PUT NEW GREASE ON

THE SLIDE PINS

OK BOTH THE TOP AND THE BOTTOM

ARE DONE

SO WE HAVE BOTH SLIDE PINS

CALIPER SLIDE PINS

GREASED UP

WE HAVE THE SECTION WHERE THE BRAKE PADS

ACTUALLY MOVE BACK AND FORTH

WE HAVE THOSE GREASED UP AS WELL

WE'LL GO AHEAD AND PUT IN THE BRAKE PADS

ONE THING YOU NEED TO DO BEFORE YOU PUT IN THE

CALIPER BACK INTO PLACE YOU NEED TO PUSH IN THE

CALIPER PISTON BACK IN THE NEW PADS ARE GOING TO

HAVE MORE MEAT THAN THE OLD ONES MORE BRAKE

PAD MATERIAL THAN THE OLD ONES

SO YOU ACTUALLY NEED TO PUSH THIS

PISTON BACK INTO PLACE

YOU CAN DO THAT WITH A C CLAMP

THEY MAKE SPECIAL TOOLS FOR THEM AS WELL

I'VE NEVER HAD ONE OF THOSE SPECIAL TOOLS

MY DAD ALWAYS TAUGHT ME TO USE

A C CLAMP SO I'VE BEEN DOING THAT FOR THE LAST

WHAT 35 YEARS

WITH NO PROBLEMS

SO YOU WANT TO GET YOUR OLD BRAKE PAD

GET YOUR OLD BRAKE PAD

SET IT IN PLACE

OPEN UP YOUR C CLAMP

BRING YOUR C CLAMP INTO PLACE

WHEN YOU DO THIS IT'S A GOOD IDEA TO GO AHEAD

AND OPEN UP THE BRAKE FLUID RESERVOIR

SOME FLUID MIGHT COME OUT

IF IT DOES YOU CAN JUST WASH IT OFF

WITH WATER

WATER EATS BRAKE FLUID

YOUR GOING TO SLOWLY PUSH

THE PISTON BACK INTO PLACE

OK

ONCE YOU GET BACK INTO THE VEHICLE

MAKE SURE YOU PRESS THE BRAKE PEDAL

5 TO 10 TIMES BEFORE STARTING THE VEHICLE

SO THAT THE PISTON CAN COME OUT

AND MAKE CONTACT WITH YOUR NEW BRAKE PADS

OTHER WISE YOU'LL FIRE UP YOUR CAR

YOU'LL GO TO DRIVE AWAY

AND YOUR NOT GOING TO HAVE ANY BRAKES FOR THE

FIRST 3 OR 4 PUMPS THAT YOU PUT ONTO THE BRAKE

ONTO THE BRAKE PEDAL

OK SO THAT BRAKE CALIPER PISTON

IS PUSHED ALL THE WAY BACK

GO AHEAD GET YOUR C CLAMP OUT OF THE WAY

GET THE OLD BRAKE PAD OUT OF THE WAY

THAT'S READY TO GO

LET'S GET OUR BRAKE PADS READY TO GO

LET'S BRING BACK IN YOUR BRAKE PAD

THERE'S ONE BRAKE PAD

THE OUTER BRAKE PAD ON THE NISSAN

BRING IN THE INNER ONE HERE FOR THE NISSAN

ALRIGHT

NOW WE GOT TO BRING IN THESE BRAKE PAD PINS

BACK INTO PLACE

THIS ONE FACED UP

THERES A HOLE HERE A HOLE HERE

SAME ON TOP

I LIKE THAT DESIGN PRETTY COOL DESIGN

IT KEEPS THE BRAKE PADS FROM SQUEAKING

IT KEEP EM IT KEEPS EM PUSHED OUT CORRECTLY

KIND OF MAKES IT HARD TO GET THE BRAKE

CALIPER BACK IN BUT HEY IT'S A NEAT DESIGN

OK THERE'S THE BOTTOM

WORKING ON THE TOP

THERE'S THE TOP

GRAB OUR CALIPER

BRING THAT INTO PLACE

ALL IN ONE SWIFT MOVE

BRING OUR BOLTS BACK IN

START THESE BY HAND

YOU MIGHT NEED TO MOVE THE CALIPER

UP OR DOWN TO GET IT TO LINE UP CORRECTLY

SO I HAD TO HAVE THE SLIDE PINS IN THE CORRECT

SPOT

CAUSE IT ACTUALLY HAS A FLAT SURFACE

ON BOTH SIDES AND THAT HAS TO LINE UP WITH

THE CALIPER CORRECTLY

RIGHT HERE WHERE MY FINGER IS

HOPEFULLY YOU GUYS CAN SEE THAT

IT'S KIND OF LOW LIGHT HERE

YEAH RIGHT HERE THE SLIDE PIN

HAS TWO NOTCHES IN IT

YOU'LL SEE WHEN YOU GET IN THERE

AND IT HAD TO LINE UP WITH THE CALIPER

CORRECTLY

RIGHTY TIGHTY LEFTY LOOSEY

ON THESE

ONCE I GET THESE

ALWAYS START THESE BY HAND

ONCE I GET IT STARTED BY HAND

JUST GO AHEAD IN HERE WITH MY WRENCH

SNUG THEM UP

THERE FAIRLY EASY TO TAKE OFF

SO I'M JUST GOING TO SNUG IT UP BY HAND

SAME WITH HERE ON THE BOTTOM

CHECK THAT ONE DOUBLE CHECK THE TOP ONE

GOOD

DOUBLE CHECK THE BOTTOM ONE THAT ONE IS

GOOD AS WELL

MAKE SURE ALL MY HARDWARE IS IN

BRAKE PADS ARE IN PLACE

SO THAT'S HOW YOU DO A BRAKE JOB

ON A INFINITI

SO I'LL BRING IN THE FRONT

WHEEL NOW

I'M NOT GOING TO SHOW YOU THE OTHER SIDE

THIS WAS ACTUALLY DONE ON THE DRIVER'S SIDE

I WON'T SHOW YOU THE PASSENGERS SIDE

BECAUSE IT'S EXACTLY THE SAME

AND I'M NPT TO BORE YOU WITH THAT

AND I'M NOT GOING TO OFFEND YOUR INTELLIGENCE

BY SHOW YOU THE OTHER SIDE

NEXT THING WE'LL DO IS BRING IN THE WHEEL AND

TIRE ON THE RIM TIGHTEN THE LUG NUTS

DOWN TO 80 FOOT POUNDS

IN A STAR PATTERN

REMEMBER TO PRESS YOUR BRAKE PEDAL

5 TO 10 TIMES BEFORE YOU DRIVE AWAY

AND THEN ALSO CHECK YOUR RESERVOIR

YOUR BRAKE RESERVOIR CAP MAKE SURE IT'S FULL

BUT NOT OVER FLOWING IF SOME BRAKE FLUID CAME

OUT WHEN YOU PUSHED BRAKE CALIPER PISTON BACK

IN GO AHEAD REMOVE SOME BRAKE FLUID

OUT OF THE RESERVOIR TO GET IT TO THE

TO THE SPOT THAT YOU NEED IT THE MARK

ON THE SIDE OF THE RESERVOIR BOTTLE

AND THEN USE SOME WATER LIKE A HOSE

TAKE YOUR CAR OUT TO THE STREET

HOSE THE BRAKE FLUID RESERVOIR BOTTLE DOWN

OR POUR A GALLON OF WATER OVER IT

CAUSE WATER EATS BRAKE FLUID

AND THAT SHOULD TAKE CARE OF ALL THE RESIDUAL

BRAKE FLUID THAT MIGHT OF COME OUT

OF THE BRAKE RESERVOIR BRAKE RESERVOIR

YEAH I CAN TALK TODAY

And definitely not to miss,

the world's largest Buddhist Temple.

The temple was built in the 9th Century A.D

There are 72 bell-shaped stupas altogether,

many of which still has a Buddha Statue in them.

Then do something out of the ordinary,

visit the Chicken Church.

Head back into the city,

And after all that bustle,

it's time for a break.

Sit in a tube

Do something you've never done before.

Then, end your trip with a walk

20 Things to do in Lviv, Ukraine Travel Guide - Duration: 12:01.

Today's video is all about our visit to Lviv (Львів).

Having come straight from Kiev (Київ), Lviv offered a real change of scenery.

The city was much smaller, more walkable, and it looked distinctly Central European.

In some ways, it reminded us of a smaller version of Krakow or Prague, though a little

rough around the edges.

But enough about first impressions; let us actually show you around.

In this video we're going to take you on a grand tour of the city and highlight 20

things to do in Lviv on your next visit.

A solid day of sightseeing needs to start with a good breakfast, and after walking around

the Old Town a bit, we found a place to eat: a post office-themed cafe!

This is so amazing.

This is so much more beautiful than I was expecting.

So right in front of me I've got these crepes with apple and walnuts.

And just look at the way they've like folded them and like twirled them.

Like it is so pretty and it has cottage cheese as well.

Icing sugar, cinnamon.

Like this is a gorgeous work of art.

I almost don't want to dig into it.

Haha.

Aside from crepes, we also ordered pancakes, cappuccinos, and verguny served with cream,

so it was a bit of a sugar kick, but what a tasty way to start the morning.

Alright guys, I was super excited to visit the Armenian Church (Հայկական տաճար)

and it is not open.

It looks like it has been undergoing some renovations so we're just going to have to

peek through the gates.

There is some concrete bags and yeah this is all we can see which is too bad.

Okay, so the Armenian Church (Вірменський собор - Katedra ormiańska) may have

been closed but there is no shortage of churches in this city so we've come across another

one.

The Transfiguration Church (Преображенська церква) so we're going to go inside

and have a look.

Like in Kyiv (Київ), we quickly discovered that Lviv is a city of churches, so our next

stop was the Church of the Holy Communion (Домініканський костел

і монастир).

This was our third church of the day, and it wouldn't be our last.

So we haven't exactly been having the best of luck with churches and cathedrals today.

First one was under repair, the second one we weren't supposed to film but we got a few

shots very discreetly.

And the 3rd one there was a wedding.

Sunshine!

What have we found here?

Well so far we've been just wandering around Lviv (Львів) for a little while and we've

found a lot of cool markets.

Like there is touristy ones but there is also some more local ones like just behind me here

people are selling books and it is a little bit of a flea market going on as well.

Yeah.

We then visited the Dormition Church (Успенська церква), also known as the Assumption

Church, where yes, there was yet another wedding taking place!

(Ukrainian signing)

Needing a little break from ecclesiastical architecture, we walked over to the Lviv's

Town Hall, where we decided to climb to the top of the Bell Tower for some views of the

city.

I'm totally out of breathe.

That is a lot steeper and higher than I thought.

Yeah.

And yeah we're almost there though.

It is super stuffy there is hardly any air.

The views will be worth it.

We're not actually done though.

Oh, woah.

It continues.

Made it to the top.

Made it to the top.

The views are worth it but we've been climbing so many towers I almost feel like we should

be getting paid to be going up them instead of paying ourselves.

There was like no air in this tower.

It was so stuffy.

It was kind of gross.

It smelled funny.

Yeah, as we were going up it started to smell like farts.

Haha, Sam.

I think someone let a bomb go.

I'm not kidding.

Maybe it was Sam.

No it wasn't me.

Or maybe not.

It was not me.

And after climbing up and down hundreds of rickety stairs, it was time for lunch!

So it was like mid-afternoon.

This is our first full day of like wandering around the Old town.

Yeah.

And we walked by this place I saw people eating sushi and it looked so good.

And we're like we have this massive craving for that.

To be fair we've had a lot of Ukrainian food while we've been here so I feel like it is

nice to mix it up a bit.

Yeah, and it is good to show like there is really good International Food in Ukraine

(Україна) so yeah yeah we've ordered a whole bunch of different uh sushi rolls.

Sushi rolls and I have a big beer coming up and so yeah I'm just kind of in my happy place

right now.

The food is here.

I've got my miso.

Lots of sushi.

I've almost finished my Warcraft beer.

And oh my gosh this is our favorite.

Philadelphia rolls.

Yeah.

Cream cheese, avocado, salmon.

We basically just got different combinations of that.

Basically.

Both those are like the main ingredients in all of our sushi.

Mmmm.

This was such a good idea.

His happy place.

That is all I'm going to say.

And keeping with the theme of churches, after our sushi lunch, we visited the Bernardine

Church in the south end of the Old Town; followed by the Latin Cathedral (Лати́нський

собо́р - Katedra Łacińska), which sits in the southwest corner of Market Square;

and finally the Jesuit Church, where if you can believe it, we stumbled upon yet another

wedding!

Clearly, it was wedding season.

(Church choir)

So that was our 6th church of the day.

It was the former Jesuit Church.

Hi.

Sam is just popping in to say hello.

Um, it was my favorite church so far.

It was under renovations, scaffolding inside, the ceiling looked like it was crumbling down

but there was a wedding taking place.

Yes.

So we were able to like stand there and watch it and it was really cool.

They had a beautiful choir.

That afternoon, we also came across Lviv's Souvenir Market, where you can find everything

from matryoshka dolls and painted landscapes, to traditional clothes and football gear.

The market is located just east of the Lviv Theatre (Львівська оперa - Opera

Lwowska), and on that note, here you can get tickets for the ballet and the opera for very

affordable prices.

Now let's move on to food.

Lest you think all we ate in Lviv (Lwów) was pancakes and sushi, we also made time

to visit a traditional restaurant outside the Old Town, called Seven Piggies (Сім

поросят).

Alright guys, it is lunchtime here in Lviv (Львів) and we tried to find the most

traditional Ukrainian restaurant that we could and that is how we ended up at Seven Piggies

(Сім поросят) and yeah I can tell you taxidermy is really popular.

Lots of stuffed animals.

There is like beavers and squirrels and owls.

Um, it is very colorful.

It is all white walls but is is like decorated with these bright flowers.

So yeah, it is super cool.

We're the only ones here and our food has arrived.

Okay.

Banosh (Банош).

We ordered dishes like Banosh, a maize porridge prepared with salty sheep cheese, eggs and

bacon; black dumplings, which were a little different from the varenyky we'd become

used to; a soup served in a ceramic bowl with bread cooked overtop; and a pork leg with

the most tender meat ever.

This apparently is the house specialty.

They have actually named this dish after the restaurant and it is the 7 pigs and it is

a huge pork leg (ГОМІЛОЧКА "СІМ ПОРОСЯТ").

It appears like they have like a cheese or melted cheese.

Melted cheese sauce and I'm just going to like carve off a huge.

That looks good.

Look how big that is.

Oh man, the meat looks so tender.

It does.

It looks really tender.

So I'm going to get some sauce on that and take a huge bite.

Ooh.

My gosh that is such nice meat.

So tender and actually it is not a cheese sauce it is a mustard sauce.

Oh, it has got a kick to it.

Yeah.

Totally different than what I thought.

Alright guys, so this afternoon we are visiting the Lviv Historical Museum.

Pretty cool but you have to wear special slippers to get in here.

This is one of the oldest and richest museums in Ukraine (Україна) in terms of its

artefacts, and if you're feeling a bit peckish after that, they have a charming cafe right

in the Italian Courtyard, which is well worth the visit.

And not too far from there, you also have the Lviv Arsenal, which houses the Weaponry

Museum featuring items from the Late Middle Ages through to the 20th century.

So I spy a little creature over your shoulder.

Oh, who could that be?

Where could we be?

We're at a cat cafe.

Cat cafe.

It is such a nice surprise.

We had no idea this was here.

We just kind of found it spontaneously and yeah we both love cats.

Well actually I like cats even more than you.

I like dogs.

No, you actually secretly love cats.

No, I like dogs.

Audrey secretly loves cats but we're going to go in right now and check it out.

Okay.

So we made it inside the cat cafe.

We're currently being ignored by the cats.

Actually there is children running around peaking under our table to see if we're hiding

any cats.

No, cats anywhere near us.

Yeah.

So yeah, we're going to dig into the cake and this one is called the cat cafe cake which

is their signature dish I guess.

So my cheesecake has arrived.

Take a look down here.

And this is the traditional um Ukrainian kind.

It is called Cernik (xxx).

I think it may also share the same name in Poland.

I remember in Poland it was called Sernik (xxx) too.

Maybe very similar names.

But it is a very thick type of cheesecake and it is really good.

Mmmm.

Very dense.

Dense cheesecake.

I like it.

For a more unusual attraction in Lviv (Львів), you have the Yard of Lost Toys, which is a

makeshift graveyard and outdoor museum for toys that have been lost of left behind.

Apparently, it all started when a resident from one of the apartment blocks along Mukachivska

Street found two lost toys and placed them in the shared courtyard, and it kind of grew

from there.

So, we've already shown you views of the Old Town from the Bell Tower, but another

free alternative is walking up Castle Hill (Високий замок - Замкова

гора - Wysoki Zamek).

It's a pretty easy walk along a defined path, just don't go expecting a castle at

the top because all that remains are a few ruins.

Lastly, let's talk about transportation in the city.

The tram (Львівський Трамвай) is hands down the cheapest way to get around

Lviv (Львів), and while you can still see a few older ones around, modern trams

are slowly taking over, so it's a fairly reliable way to get around town.

And that's a wrap for our visit to Lviv, Ukraine (Україна).

We found this to be a charming city with a completely different look and feel from Kiev

(Киев), so we're glad we added this stop to our itinerary.

If you're short on time, this is a great destination for a weekend escape.

Now you know the drill, if you have any other suggestions of cool things to do around Lviv

(Львів), feel free to share those with fellow travellers in the comments below.

Wishing you happy travels and until next time!

BBC nuclear war survival guide REVEALED amid World War 3 threats from North Korea - Duration: 3:53.

BBC nuclear war survival guide REVEALED amid World War 3 threats from North Korea

The increasing global tensions have brought back memories of the Cold War, when the world was on tenterhooks as and the US traded insults and threats as the potential for nuclear conflict loomed.

Now the BBC's plans for the event of a nuclear war have been revealed and it has emerged that the corporation would not stop broadcasting, even if nuclear conflict broke out.

The War Book, which was drawn up during the Cold War, is an extensive document that laid out what the BBC would do if a "nuclear exchange" took place.

The broadcaster would relocate to 11 protected bunkers across the UK which are referred to as Deferred Facilities".

These facilities would also be used to house Government staff and ministers as well as five BBC staff, most of whom would have been working at local radio stations, who would run a news studio contained in the facility.

The BBC headquarters, currently located in London's Portland Place, would be relocated to the Engineering Training Department at Wood Norton in Worcestershire.

Around 90 engineers, editors, announcers and religious broadcasters would be moved there to make sure the viewers and listeners could still get access the news, although most of their output would be controlled by the Government.

However, it wouldn't just have been the news that the BBC would broadcast - there were also old tapes of the Goon Show, Just a Minute and Round the Horne would be on standby.

Bob Doran, a radio news editor in the 1980s, recalled a heartbreaking conversation he had during a Cold War drill. He said: "My clearest memory is of a discussion about whether people with spouses could bring them along.

"The other thing I remember clearly is coming away in deep gloom and a feeling of certainty that nuclear war was going to happen very soon." Staff would not have been told exactly how long they would have to stay at the makeshift BBC headquarters but were advised to bring enough personal supplies for a month.

Meanwhile, the war announcement, which was recorded by renowned Radio 4 newsreader Peter Donaldson, read: "This is the Wartime Broadcasting Service. This country has been attacked with nuclear weapons.

"Communications have been severely disrupted, and the number of casualties and the extent of the damage are not yet known. "We shall bring you further information as soon as possible.

Meanwhile, stay tuned this wavelength, stay calm and stay in your own homes." It is not known whether the BBC have another plan in place at the moment amid ongoing tensions, given that the Wartime Broadcasting Service was decommissioned in 1992.

24 Hours in Wanganui - New Zealand's Biggest Gap Year – Backpacker Guide New Zealand - Duration: 8:23.

Today we are finally going to explore the city of Wanganui which is where the Whanganui

River enters

the sea.

[Awful singing] Don't know which way we're facing.

Which way are we facing?

Laura's in charge of the map today she's directing us through the beautiful Wanganui town.

Ok let's go.

I know where we're going.

Erm We're just going to go up one more time and then we're going to turn right.

today we are going to be following the advice of Matt which is the one of the owners of

the 42b college house hostel where we are currently staying when we checked in he actually

took the time to write a whole map and a whole lot of things that we should be seeing around

the area the city centre of Wanganui so he took the time to give us so many recommendations

that it would be rude of us not to check them out.

Right?

So we are going to be following his advice and going to all the little streets that he

told us to and check out all the main highlights of the city.

Halfway down Victoria avenue is this big square with a few museums and art galleries and we

see a big sign saying free entry into the Whanganui Museum so of course we head into

there.

it's about the social history of the region so we have obviously the Maori side of things

the Maori artifacts that were found in the region for instance they have three giant

war canoes slash Maori wakas.

there's that whole section that whole really fascinating Maori history really cool to see

because it's so far from our own history and then we get the European settlers history

side.

We're done at the museum and keep on walking down Victoria Avenue we stumble upon a lot

of pretty old buildings and you know the phone booth and then a lovely steampunk shop so

steampunk is always a culture that has interested me it's really kind of alternative and always

looks really cool you know I mean like Mad Max fan and those kind of things so that's

pretty awesome.

All down this street there's loads of different Victorian style buildings I think they're

all colourful and flamboyant.

Yeah, this is not really what we expecting from Wanganui but it's pretty awesome. this

main street's like really nice look at it's a pleasure to walk down.

There's a historic elevator and as tourists we have to take the most touristy way to get

up to the top.

So walking toward the [Durie Hill] elevator there is a massive Maori wall which I am not

100% sure why it's there you know I don't know what's the Maori significance of that

specific tunnel and everything I couldn't find out some information but it looks really

cool with tikis and poles and totems and all the faces are sculptures different which is

pretty epic so we make our way toward the tunnels looks at each of those faces that

are looking back at us.

Surprisingly, these like Maori carvings and this tunnel like where we spend the most our

time today it's really like it's again just a simple thing it's a tunnel but tunnels are

so cool.

The historic elevator is down a tunnel which goes on for ages and it is has the most hilarious

echo it's like a echo of a on second delay so if you make a really short burst of sound

a second later you will hear at the other side of the tunnel and it just - we have so

much fun with that it's such a simple thing but we're just shouting down this tunnel for

ages.

Well looks like you need to pay with cash do we have any cash?

Looks like we're taking the stairs then after all that.

Hey Laura.

Hey Robin.

You got cash!

There's a massive raucous when we hear the elevator arriving we step in and Laura pays

the lady.

i don't think you can see how much it rocks on camera but seriously it was rocking quite

a lot and I did not feel safe.

But after this extreme elevator in Wanganui we are finally up the hill and ready to climb

the [Durie Hill] Water tower.

We may have avoided taking the steps to get up to the water tower but there is no avoiding

taking the steps to get to the top of the water tower.

That's the second water tower we are climbing in the last week I feel like i have a certain

connection with water towers now.

We went up the Hawera water tower and my god that was quite the climb but this one is just

no breaks between steps this is just a relentless spiral staircase all the way to the top.

At the top there's like an amazing view of all around we see the city but then there's

like the huge Wanganui River that's like winding it's way through the city this is like a really

awesome view and you can get up the water tower for free so we're happy this is actually

a really cool thing to do in Wanganui and i would recommend that to anyone coming here.

So we are currently in Wanganui on the Whanganui River.

But some people say Wanganui because it's spelt w-h and people can't pronounce "PH"

so how do you spell the town that we are in right now?

The town has changed its name from Whanganui to Wanganui so it's no spelt w-a-n-g-a-n-u-i

we got there at the end.

We arrive back at the hostel where tonight I am going to rock the subway style sandwiches

finishing our bread from Manaia.

Tomorrow, we are on our way to Ohakune which is the carrot capital of New Zealand.

Oh my God, we've seen a lot of capitals in New Zealand so far Manaia bread capital has

been my favourite one so far i can't wait to see the carrot capital.

Royal Tyrrell Museum (Dinosaur) | Drumheller Alberta Canada travel guide video - Duration: 3:26.

Welcome back to another episode of Traveling With Krushworth.

We're excited to be here in Drumheller.

And I have my travel companion and girlfriend LilLizzy here with me.

What are we excited about going to see?

Well, today we're going to the Royal Tyrrell Museum

Here in Drumheller and we're going to see some dinosaurs, maybe do a few walks

And its going to be great, but until then, we'll let you go

And we'll show you everything there is to see.

As one of the premiere museums of palaeontology,

The dinosaur fossils at the Royal Tyrrell Museum are spectacular.

Visitors flock to these halls to see these prehistoric, amazing giants.

Yet, we came for one specific sight,

The unbelievable nodosaur unearthed in 2011.

This creature has made worldwide headlines for

Being the best preserved armoured dinosaur ever found.

The nodosaur was accidentally found at Suncor's Millennium Mine

Near Fort McMurray.

It was painstakingly removed from

Its stone tomb over 6 years by museum technician Mark Mitchell.

This specimen is 110-million years old and, its

Mummy-like preservation was due to it being allegedly

Swept away in a flooded river and buried under the ocean floor.

Parts of this amazing animal's armour plates and

Skin are still visible, creating an astounding reflection

Back to the Cretaceous period when dinosaurs roamed these lands.

As Alberta's oldest found dinosaur, this prized

Nodosaur has been referred to as the Rosetta stone for

Armour, named after the famed tablet used to decipher Egyptian hieroglyphs.

The dinosaur fossils are amazing, and thousands of

Visitor travel to the Royal Tyrrell Museum each year to

Learn and understand, not only the animals, but

The geological history of our Earth.

We live on an amazing planet and we have to

Learn what was to understand the future.

Come for the fossils, but follow us to the Cretaceous Garden.

It's a special flashback to what the landscape would have

Looked like millions of years ago.

These are all prehistoric plant relatives.

The museum is located in Midland Provincial Park,

And we took the opportunity to walk the interpretive trail

To see the almost alien like landscapes well known across the badlands.

To follow us to Writing on Stone Provincial Park, click the video on the right.
