what's up guys welcome to the video I'm Nina Michael and in the last video I
talked about my failing product right and I have it pulled up right here and
it's going to be the letter board right and so in the last video I talked about
how I could have prevented this and how I could have predicted that this product
was going to be a failing product or not or if it's becoming more and more
competitive and saturated right but with that said like all investments Amazon is
a risk that you're taking you can do your best to mitigate those risks and
prevent those risks but at the end of the day it's still a risk so in this
video I really want to talk about what you can do with a slow-moving or a
failing product on Amazon right and so before I get into this video I want to
do a little bit of a show-and-tell ok I want to show you my physical
product right so right here I have my product and it's going to be the letter
board right so here it is right here alright so we're gonna go ahead and open
this let me just put down my mic this is it right here it's a 10 by 10 inch
letter board right and the way I differentiated my products which I had a
bunch of different colors right available so I had you know red yellow
and white 4 colors for the letters right
so I'm gonna go ahead and show you guys a few different options of how to get
rid of slow-moving inventory right so the first one and disclaimer right off
the beginning this is against Amazon policy but what you can do is you can
login to your primary account or whatever account you use to buy stuff on
Amazon right and you can go ahead and contact suppliers that are selling the
same exact thing right and from there they're gonna get give you different
offers and you can offer to sell to them at wholesale or even below wholesale
just to get rid of the inventory right and so what you can do from there is
once you complete the transaction and you receive your money you can go ahead
and go into your seller central right and I'm right here I'm logged into one
of my seller central accounts and you can go ahead and click manage FBA
inventory one of the options you're gonna have is you're gonna be able to
create a removal order right and so let's say you have your stock in an
Amazon warehouse and you want to remove that order right you want to get your
inventory back what you can do is create a removal order
and send it directly to whoever bought your product right so you ask them for
their address and you can send it directly from the Amazon warehouse to
whichever air warehouse that they wanted to go to or whatever location that they
would like right so that's gonna be option number one for getting rid of
slow-moving inventory okay the second option is going to be to list it on eBay
or a 3rd party seller at a wholesale price right and what you can do is you
can go back to manage FBA inventory you can select your product and then you can
go ahead and create a fulfillment order ok and so what you can do with that is
rather than shipping all the items to your house and sending them off one by
one whenever you get an order on eBay or whatever third party seller that you
decide to use you can go ahead and send it directly from the Amazon warehouse
and fulfill it to your buyer correct so this is gonna take a lot of the work
that you have to do or you would have to do if you did take that inventory
yourself now something to know is you are still gonna pay a fulfillment fee
and in this case the fulfillment fee I think was around six dollars so for me
you know this product I ended up breaking even I bought it for $8.00
landed cost in the US and this was with air shipping right this was express
shipping and obviously over time you know if I were to restock this product I
would definitely order by sea so then I could get that price even lower but I
went ahead and I listed this on eBay for eight dollars plus $4.99 shipping to
offset some of the FBA costs right the fulfillment cost by Amazon and so yeah
this is a this is a trick I don't see a lot of people talking about how to
fulfill third-party orders on Amazon essentially what it is is your drop
shipping from Amazon using a third party seller such as eBay right so yeah if you
guys enjoy the video please give it a thumbs up don't forget to subscribe and
I'll see you guys in the next one
