Auto news on Youtube May 29 2018

So you've finally, after weeks and weeks maybe months of planning and hard work, you've

stepped foot in Canada, visa in hand and the whole country at your fingertips.

You've made it. You've moved here. Now what?.. That was me 15 months ago and now

I'm here to help you make those crucial first steps after you've touched down

and gotten your visa. We're gonna go through... everything - From the important

first things to do just when you arrive, what phone carrier to go with, apartments,

banks, driver's license, learning languages and how to get a job. Some of

these things are a bit more complicated than if you were just a Canadian citizen

like the driver's license, banks and language parts, so this video will hit all

the points an expat needs to know. If you're just beginning your journey and

you haven't gotten your working holiday visa yet, I've explained every little

detail to do with that in part one of this series right... here (top right) so give that a

watch first and come back. This is How to Move to Canada part two, so if you found

this video helpful hit subscribe for more guides coming up, and if you have

any questions feel free to ask them in the comments section down below, or check

out the Moving2Canada Facebook group I've linked in the description. They'll

probably be able to answer your questions faster than I can. Again just

disclaiming that any recommendations in this video are based on my own personal

experience, and this video isn't sponsored in any way. And I wish it was. (Who wouldn't)

so let's go. Social Insurance Number (SIN) The absolute number one priority after touching

down in Canada is getting your social insurance number you will need this for

anything remotely important like applying for a bank getting a phone

number etc so you need to get this as soon as possible so you're able to go do

everything else you're able to get your social insurance number at any Service

Canada office arriving in Toronto it's right at the airport why I said just

start the immigration and if you come in a Montreal Montreal has them in the city

I've linked a site in the description that will help you find the nearest one

Museum when you do go there make sure to bring your passport and your wife

Spanish as these will be your quiet no photocopies allowed phone how are you

gonna find an apartment without a number to reach you now to cual your

expectations right from the get-go Canadian phone plans are garbage

horrendous absolute bollocks whole telecom industry in Canada is

monopolized by the big three who don't compete amongst themselves so they can

keep prices hi they're all ridiculously expensive

they give you very little for your money and the prices vary from province to

province for example Ontario and BC are quite pricey with Quebec being more

affordable and Saskatchewan being very very cheap this is because those

provinces have actual competition with Saskatchewan having a province brawn

telecom called sasktel if you decided to move to Saskatchewan then definitely go

with them Sasuke for everywhere else don't even bother checking the p3 del

Rodgers Telus them and also avoid Fido at all Kong

they are the worst I went with them when I was on exchange here four years ago

and they were awful I paid $50 plus tax for one gigabyte won it was nothing and

when I tried to cancel my month-to-month plan at the end of April they ended up

canceling my plan a day before they said they were going to and then also

proceeded to try and charge me for the entire month of May when they won even

dreamy service avoid like the place okay so actual options definitely bring

your own phone and stick to simile montemagno plans it doesn't lock you in

and lets you keep costs down I recommend going with Kudo I've been with them

since I arrived the service is good and I currently pay $49 plus tax so total 56

dollars for six gigabytes of data unlimited calls and unlimited tax

including international it's been more than enough for me and if you use my

referral code right here you'll get $50 off your next bill there are cheaper

subsidiary of Telus so they have good coverage and they're available pretty

much all over Canada for Ontario there's also freedom mobile which is another

low-cost carry so check that out and pair and see what works for you yeah

it's way too nice to be in here doing this video let's go outside let's go

outside

this is Bella this is much better I can do this alright let's go let's continue

so apartments this is a topic so massive I'm gonna do a whole video dedicated to

the subject but the main site you needed no rentals is qgg CA ki j IJ a dot CA

this is basically the gum tree of Canada for any Australians watching or the

Craigslist of Canada for an Americans Craigslist also exists and is worth

checking out as well but most people put all this stuff on Kijiji this should

also be apartment and house made Facebook groups for your city I've

linked the Montreal ones down below now those are places where you can find

apartments but what about inspecting them and deciding whether to move in let

me give you just a couple bits of advice based on my own personal experience ah

DC or her shows a apartments our ground floor apartments I personally avoid

these as if you live in a built-up areas such as Montreal where housing is

densely packed in every building is at least three stories basically no light

enters the apartment apart from the rooms with south-facing windows I've

been known for two months and I can confirm the common areas were almost

completely dark it's dark gloomy and depressing avoid it the same goes the

basement and half basement apartments before moving here I didn't even know

these existed and still don't know why they exist why why would you do this to

yourself the same goes for bedrooms with no windows don't do it don't do it we

actually do have a windowless bedroom in our apartment we just use this for

storage but imagine sleeping in here you don't know when to wake up it's soul

destroying I did it not in this room but in like another apartment for two months

don't do it do not do it I thought I could handle it for a few months but I

couldn't sure there are huge savings on our DC apartments compared to

higher-level apartments but the effect it has on your well-being insanity is

not worth it especially for windowless bedroom stick two bedrooms with windows

and upper level apartments ideally third floor if you live in Montreal because as

you see we get roof access and it's dope

sunsets from here are pretty sweet and just uh I know it's a nice thing to have

roof access this whole white thing is something I've never had to deal with in

Australia because even at ground level there's like everywhere but in Canada

light becomes precious in the winter and the price premium is what if you're in

Montreal it's still dirt cheap anyway you can save money in other ways other

things worth mentioning electricity is called hydro in Canada so ask if that's

included or not as bills can vary dramatically between summer and winter

which can be dollars and cents in the summer and up to hundreds and hundreds

of dollars in the winter this has been nice there's been pretty nice don't you

think I needed this let's continue this

downstairs okay so moving on thanks this was a very frustrating process when I

did it so another crappy thing about Canada it is the norm to charge a ten to

twenty dollar monthly fee for a debit account yes the banks charge you money

to access your own money this is a great country isn't that great also as a new

arrival you're automatically ineligible for pretty much every bank account in

Canada don't even think about going to tangerine I tried and it was way too

much of a hassle and to meet the requirements it'll cost you more than

any fees you'll save what you need to get is something called a newcomers to

Canada account these are accounts where the general requirements such as a

Canadian driver's license work history bank check are waived

and you get a debit account for free for the first year after that you need a

minimum balance of like three to four thousand dollars to waive the fee a

bunch of different banks often newcomer accounts but the only month worth

looking at are the ones from the Bank of Montreal BMO and CIBC they both offer

their debit accounts for free for one year and Bank of Montreal also offers a

credit card where you can get four percent cashback for the first four

months up to $125 and then it's one percent cashback after that it's not

worth going with any of the airline points airline miles credit cards in

Canada as they don't offer good value compared to the cashback ones

transferring your money from home to Canada so I'm assuming you didn't

I hope you didn't bring all your cash in your luggage on your way to Canada and

most your money is still in your home country in your bank account and you a

transfer that without losing too much in fees so the best method of doing this

will vary from country to country but for Australians what I recommend is

applying for a city bank plus debit card before you leave Australia this is the

ultimate debit card for travelling as there are no fees and you get an

exchange rate very close to the actual exchange rates I have been using this

card for all of my travels for the past four years and haven't had any issues

with the bank and when you do have issue say if you lose your card or anything

the customer service is fantastic super quick and very helpful one time an ATM

ate my card and they send me one within a day or two super quick and I'm not

even paying any fees for this service it's great when you want to move your

money into Canada or when you're just traveling in general you transfer the

money from your Australian bank account to the city bank account and then take

that Citibank card go to an ATM in Canada withdraw the cash from the ATM

and then deposit the cash into your Canadian bank account all you pay is the

withdrawal fee from the ATM and that's it the best way to get the most money

from you money other options I've had recommended quite a lot for other

countries include transferwise when you do this process it also helps quite a

lot to keep an eye on the fluctuating exchange rates I generally found that

the exchange rate would always spike on a certain day of the week for me that

was Tuesday I don't know if that's an actual thing or if it changed but that

was what I experienced driver's license so if you have a driver's license from

your home country and it's recognised in Canada link below you'll be able to

drive on it for the first six months without doing anything at all after that

you'll have to apply for a Canadian driver's licence or exchange your arms

the first thing to look for is if your country has an exchange agreement in

place with the province you're moving to yes that's right not with Canada but the

province it's best to treat each province as its own separate country

just for your own sanity or Australians we have an exchange agreement with

Ontario but not with Quebec great right makes so much sense so provided you have

an Ontarian address you can exchange your

Australian license for Ontarians if you're someone who paid for a 10-year

license back home don't worry you'll get it back after you leave or you can

request a new one without paying for it again when you write back home if you're

in a province with an exchange agreement with your country you'll have to do a

driving test links for those below languages in mostly Canada

you only need to speak English to get a job in Quebec you'll need to be at least

at professional watch proficiency / bilingual for pretty much any job

especially graduate roles only exceptions being in IT and the video /

entertainment industry if you can find work somewhere you're eligible for

heavily discounted French language courses at these french language

learning centers around Montreal one of them being the Santos on TV which gives

you a two month intensive French language course for $70 very cheap for

both languages the most important thing is your speaking ability and for that I

highly recommend going to language meetups

this is a great way to practice and also to meet some new friends mundo lingo is

one of the most well known language meetups with meetups in Montreal and

Toronto although it is basically a networking event it's great for practice

if you're just starting out and just want to practice basic conversation it's

basically a language meetup at a bar well it's good for basic practice after

a while you might find yourself repeating the same stuff over and over

and over again bonds your TV on dude let's get you paid for car light well

Quattro atom energy I'm already at it says the rides that there are and while

that's good for basic just networking it becomes less practice and more rote

memorization and repetition once you're at that stage I highly recommend going

to language meetups in your area like the ones on meetup calm I found them to

be way better for actually testing your skills once you get to a higher level as

I've gone into really deep conversations that have challenged me linguistically a

lot more often at these events compared to mundo lingo which has a lot of people

who just do the rounds with kind of like shallow surface level conversation it's

also a lot more quiet than a noisy bar it helps comprehension

ate a lot jobs so this is something I'm struggling with at the moment check my

previous video basically you can try to find a graduate job in Canada

it's gonna be extremely extremely difficult HR will routinely throw away

your CV because your degree is in Canadian and you have no Canadian work

experience even though your degree might be from a better University than the

ones you're competing with and your overseas experience is valuable just to

cut down on the amount of applications to go through sounds great right

that isn't discrimination at all Canada is so nice

the main websites to go through are indeed see a job you like oh is quite

good monster and Linkedin angellist is also good if you're looking for startups

but really if you want a job in your field it's easier just to know somebody

this is the same in pretty much every country on planet earth but in a foreign

country you have everything going against you so you're gonna need to pull

every single string to make this work you need to work hard and try and meet

as many people as you can as soon as you touch down right off the bat make

friends with your roommates friends if you have any definitely have roommates

if you move to a foreign country go to meetups like mundo lingo others Omnicom

and also go on to LinkedIn find the companies you want to work at and

personally reach out to employees not HR but actual employees and awesome art for

a coffee do whatever you can to grow your network and say yes to every

opportunity that comes your way why not to get yourself killed of course but

saying yes to every opportunity helps a lot when you're new to a country this

goes for jobs but also life in general one very important note with job

applications if you're here on a working holiday visa do not mention it on your

job application the red flag all they need to know if they ask is that you're

legally allowed to work in Canada just say you move to Canada and in any

interview say you intend to stay here I actually do intend to stay here so it's

not issue for me but if you're on sudden just keep your lips sealed and don't

mention it most employers won't be willing to hire and take the time to

train you if you're gonna leave up to two years unless if you want just a

service retail job or work in the ski fields this is an extremely uphill

battle and you're gonna need to do everything right to make it work last

thing permanent residency this is something that you'll need to do if you

intend to stay in kind of beyond the length of your working holiday visa if

you have enough points for Express entry through thing

like a full-time job and a university degree process can be as quick as six

months I will do a video on this in detail after I've done it myself just

like the honeymoon for Canada part one oh now I've just got a link in the

description for the official info well that's it hopefully you're ready to get

your life started in Canada it's that like button if you found this video

helpful I'll be doing more in depth videos on things like finding an

apartment in Montreal which is really complicated and weird and confusing so

I'll break it down how to get a job and the permanent residency process from A

to Z so definitely subscribe so you don't miss out on those by the end of it

I want this town 11 everything you need to know about moving in Canada and I

think I'm getting that I'm making progress let me know your thoughts and

questions in the comments down below and I'll see you in the next video there's

one last thing before you go I'd like to announce that I finally started selling

photo prints it's something I've been wanting to do for ages but I wanted to

make sure I got it right I had found a photo lab that I'm super happy with and

I'm honestly so stoked about how well these turned out it's so sharp and the

colors are so accurate there's gonna be over 20 different prints off the sale

shipping internationally in both 8 by 12 inch this size and 12 by 18 inch so

basically a 4 and a 3 in your choice of either Mac or metallic archival photo

paper I personally love the metallic just because of how rich and how deep

the colors and the blacks are as soon as I pull this out of the case and saw it

for the first time I was just like yes yes a hundred times yes I put a ton of

time into these videos I think the loss how to move to Canada video took over

fifty nine hours yeah a ton of time so if there's any photos on the Shonda Co

slash store that take your fancy I would really appreciate the support thank you

That is the occasion, We meet together. The party said it was just a party

Cook by myself

Self

Singing

Self-acting, self created for a party and then again

Use Vlog to film and celebrate

Includes folk food, such as: hot pot

Mollusks, Lychees

Fish , fish sauce ... love in love

there is a girl

Name: Lien, unmarried, in the far western, the way we are hundreds of kilometers

The girl was riding from the night to the dressing meeting with the group

The youngest members of the group called the oldest member of the group is grandmother

We do not care about that, all to come together

Then call: me and you, all friends

This feeling is very precious

The stories we talk to are stories, stories, and stories

Our career, filming, Vlog, ask friends have ...

Couple? how are the children .What is the occupation?

These are very ordinary, very ordinary stories of a close group

When met together

That's all for now

When I hear somebody succeed,

Someone new, married

Have fun sharing with each other, raise the glass together to congratulate and

To share with your friends

emotional passion, emotional friends it is very precious that sometimes money, treasures

Can not buy it . I think it is the charm, the Flow of Time of our life smooth

Each of us will not recognize, but when we have charm, when we have the same thoughts

With the same direction, we focus together, creating such wonderful groups

I thank life, "thank you every morning to wake up, I have more days to love."

Best Landscape Photography Gear | A Beginner's Guide - Duration: 5:41.

Subscribe to our Channel and press the Bell icon and you would never miss an

update from Dreamshot.

hello friends welcome once again to your channel Dreamshot

for those who are curious about my name in place my name is Sadanand and

I stay in Bangalore. See, I've been getting a lot of questions as to what is the best

DSLR for landscape photography. I've been trying to answer with the best option

possible but I feel that its not the right question to ask. Personally, I feel that

landscape photography is not more about the DSLR at all .If you are a portrait

photographer or a wildlife photographer, sports photographer there will still be

a lot of features in the cameras which we can explore to take better pictures

but obviously high end cameras are feature-rich

but when it comes to landscape photography I don't think so the DSLR

body itself will hold a lot of value so if you're a beginner photographer or you are interested in

serious landscape photography do watch this video till the end and I'm

sure you'll make beautiful pictures like professionals.

When I'm talking about landscape photography I'm talking about serious landscape photography not the

ones where you casually go around and click some random pictures. First and foremost

let me talk about the body itself if you have a good budget then go for a full

frame body if you don't have a good budget then I think you should go for a

crop sensor . You don't have to worry anything more than this..!

Even if you have very less budget, like if you can only afford the Nikon D3400 or canon 1300D

Even thats ok... If you have a budget and you have a full-frame DSLR

I think the best general lens to go for is 24-70 F2.8

If you own budget Cameras, then I think even 18-55 will do . I know there are

a lot many pro photographer say would like to click pictures with it crisp sharp prime

lenses but let us not get into that because there will be a lot of

constraint on the flexibility and until we have a variety of prime lenses it

doesn't work for us. So after the DSLR body in the lens here comes the

important part. Now these accessories or equipments are very very important for

you to create that beautiful professional looking landscape pictures

To make sure we have a beautiful picture we should always avoid grains or shake

For that you need a tripod . Any tripod will do. not a big deal

you can go to the e-commerce website and see whichever tripod has

good rating just but you need a tripod for sure. To reduce Camera

shake tripod is one of the biggest contributor. Now instead of

tripod you can go for a monopod it is not as good as tripod when it comes to

the stability but definitely it's very very flexible . Meaning, if you are

in congested area, you don't have to worry about setting up a tripod if you

have all your settings right you can just keep the monopod and within seconds

you can take the shot. So tripod more stability and monopod

more flexibility. If you want to enhance the stability further which means

you would want to avoid the shake that is created by shutter press, then

you have to use a remote shutter . Either wireless

OR wired... Now you may ask , why do we need a

remote shutter when we have timer within Camera..... but there is a catch.. Say

for example you have set up a tripod in the seashore and you have set the timer

for 10 seconds. Just when the shutter is about to take off something may enter

into the screen and spoil your photo and you have to repeat it all over again but

when you're using a remote shutter you're absolutely under control

Next we'll talk about polarising filters. I don't know the technicality of what goes

into making a polarizing filter but I know the functionality , what it does...

In the day time, when you go to the sea and when you look into the water you notice a

harsh reflection of the Sun. If we don't do anything about it and if we just go

and click , the photo will not be nice. Just because we want to avoid the

reflection we don't want to increase the shutter speed and spoil the entire

settings. By using a polarised filter it reduces the reflection a lot. And you might have noticed

when we are clicking the picture in that in the daylight we

notice that glare from the Sun polarising filters reduces even that to

a lot extent . Not just that, it increases the color saturation in a dramatic way very naturally.

Next would be ND filters . You would have seen a lot of waterfall

pictures will be in a smooth milky format. And despite trying hard, we will

not be able to click such pictures. The difference is made with ND filters

the reason is in the day light, when we use very slow shutter speed, the photo

becomes very bright. However narrow you keep the aperture , the photo is definitely

going to be very very bright. Now if you want to have a very very slow shutter

speed + you want to have your own aperture and ISO settings, then you have

to use ND filters. It restricts which is entering into your camera and

if you have a variable ND filter then nothing like it because you are

completely in control of how much light comes in.That is more like how we use the sunglasses.

Now we have seen , by using a tripod, remote shutter,

ND filter, polarising filter... what kind of difference does it

make to create the beautiful pictures Would it be possible to achieve such results only by changing

or upgrading a DSLR? Definitely not..!!! I would even go to

the extent of suggesting you if you are sure that you are getting into landscape

photography then come down to a budget keeping everything into consideration or

even if you had to compromise on something.. compromise with the DSLR body. Of -course

when it comes to landscape photos, however beautiful pictures you click on

location, the post-processing is definitely going to make a huge

difference . So you have to slowly enhance your editing expertise

Thank you so much for watching this video. I hope I have given some good

suggestions with respect to landscape photography. If you have any queries or

clarifications please write it in the comment section below

1 very important thing. The answer to all your queries will be given as a

response in the comment section of YouTube channel only. So if you do not

get proper response on my Facebook page and Instagram account you know where to

post your question. Thank you once again and take care..! :) :)

Tokyo Summer Escape: Karuizawa Day Trip | japan-guide.com - Duration: 5:09.

With temperatures reaching over 35 degrees Celsius in summer, Tokyo is notorious for

being hot.

One popular destination to escape the heat is a town nestled in the mountains, about

an hour northwest of Tokyo, called Karuizawa.

Karuizawa offers a number of tourist attractions and makes for an excellent day or weekend trip.

And is where we'll be going today.

My name is Raina Ong, staff writer for japan-guide.com and today I'm on a day trip trip in Karuizawa.

Here's the plan.

We arrive in Karuizawa on the Hokuriku Shinkansen and take the bus straight to Shiraito no Taki.

After that, we take the bus back down into Kyu-Karuizawa where we will walk along the

Ginza shopping street and have lunch in the vicinity.

Finally, we take the red retro bus from the shopping street to the Usui Pass Observation

Platform to take in the views from 1200 meters above sea level and where we will end our day.

So follow along as I go on a day trip to Karuizawa, Tokyo's summer escape in the mountains.

So, the green season right now is one of my favorite times to come here.

To breathe in the negative ions and to reset my senses.

This is the Kyu-Karuizawa Ginza Shopping Street, one of the main attractions in Karuizawa.

Here you can find souvenirs, local products and pretty much anything you want.

This is mocha soft serve, one of the specialties along the shopping street.

For exciting times, make it mocha soft serve time.

I'm going to taste some honey thats made in Karuizawa.

Let's go with apple honey.

It tastes like apple, and honey!

You can find a wide variety of foods in Karuizawa, but today, I'm in the mood for something cheesy.

I got the cheese calzone for lunch.

I can't wait!

I could eat like ten of these.

We had a good lunch and now we're going to climb a mountain.

We're now going to the Usui Pass Observation Platform, and there are two ways we can get there.

One is via the hiking trail at the end of the street and the other, the simpler method,

is to take the bus.

We are now at the Usui Pass Observation Platform, which stands at about 1200 meters above sea level,

and allows you to be in two prefectures at the same time.

And that concludes our day trip to Karuizawa.

Thanks for joining me.

I hope this video has been enjoyable and perhaps even inspires some ideas, should you decide

to plan a trip to Karuizawa.

Dauntless Tips, Tricks and New Player Advice - Duration: 13:30.

What's Good, It's Fevir.

As expected there are a ton of new players running around in Dauntless and as someone

who has clocked in an amount of hours in the game -that I don't even want to know..

I figured I'd rustle up some tips for people maybe trying to get their bearings, struggling..

or just like learning stuff.

These tips won't make you an expert out the gate - as these types of games really require

you learn the encounters and let muscle memory take over.. but I do hope you get something

here and am going to try my best to avoid the non-tips of like.. you kill a behemoth

by reducing it's health to zero.. stuff.

We'll start with quite possibly the most basic tip.

Roll into attacks to more easily avoid them.

In Dauntless your roll or dash is loaded up with an iframe or invulnerability frame..

where when you time it correctly, you'll avoid the damage of an attack.

The thing is though that our normal reaction is to try to dodge away.

This can still work.. however you can use the movement of the attack or behemoth to

give you a more forgiving timing.

As if you and whatever attack are moving against each other.. you'll create much more space

before the iframe ends than rolling away and make the timing much, more forgiving.

Aside from the obvious learning curve stuff.. where those deaths are out of your control

anyways.. the downsides to dying is a few second channel from a teammate and a slight

increase to your danger meter BUT.. the upside is a morbid type of heal.

Look at the Danger Meter as another resource to be utilized and if you only have 5% health

left.. it's not worth using 3 potions to get back in fighting shape..

I'm not saying to die on purpose - and if your group is already struggling and the Danger

Meter is going to pose a problem.. well then don't strain that resource.. but aside from

some slight embarrassment you can really get a lot of healing out it.. especially if someone

gears into medic.

Whether this is bug or feature .. is anyones guess but it goes with our last tip.

You only NEED one person to channel a revive on a teammate.. but if two people do it and

channel it to completion - both revives will reduce the Danger Meter..

3 people.. reduce it even further.

This also works for Aether Vents.. on that last pull of sweet, sweet healing.. the whole

party could channel and get a boost of healing.

This is just an item but it's also probably the best tip in this video.

This item is bananas.

The next 3 hits you take deal 45% reduced damage.. with no duration.. you can carry

3.

So up to 9 hits in a fight will deal about half damage.

Now when you're a seasoned player you probably don't even get hit 9 times in a fight and

when you're a new player.. you really need to stretch your life bar out and this mitigation

is very welcome.

Because of this you want to keep an eye out for Ironthistle - these white flowers are

generally found in snow environments and are worth their weight in... notes?

Notes.. is the low key currency used in Dauntless.

I feel as if it's going to have a bigger role in the future - but currently is used for

extracting cells from gear and a bit of crafting.

I've never run into a problem with them but this may be good to know for the future that

through the inventory window - you can select particular items.. basically any item.. and

salvage it for notes.

All those old, extra, Shrike Parts you got while going for a beak.. easy money.

So you're fighting a behemoth .. and each time you attack - numbers of different color

fly up.

For our purposes- we care only about the yellow number now.

This is slashing.. or part damage.

What it tells you is your are dealing damage to a PART on a behemoth that can be broken..

say a leg.

If you deal enough yellow damage to it.. it breaks - it also gets some graphical indicators

that it's been roughed up, you get a chance at some loot.. and

continued PART damage to that leg will no longer be yellow.

This guides the savy slayer.. as a behemoth can be killed before each part is broke..

so you want to try to only attack sections of the behemoth that will result in PART damage,

and therefore more loot.

Quick addition to playing around parts.. now in the early sections of the game.. there

really isn't a worry about what parts or if the parts will break.. but later on - making

sure you cut the tail.. making sure you get the beak.. trying to only kill them during

an aether rage.. can be important.. and all it takes usually to get everyone on the same

page as you..

especially if they haven't clicked in to playing around optimizing part breaks is a .. hey

guys, let's focus the tail first, in chat.

But what about this blue number I'm seeing - the light blue number is stagger.. or blunt

damage.. and is just as important.

As continued dealing of this type of damage to a behemoths head - will knock them out

for a few seconds.. sending them to a staggered state on the ground where your team can descend

on them un-interrupted.

You'll know you're almost about to stagger a behemoth by a visual queue above their head.

More iconic to Dauntless however is the infamous - boop the snoot gameplay .. or rather interrupting

a behemoth during a moment that it is unstable.

This can be when a Shrike swoops in at you.. it can be when a Skarn stands up on it's hind

legs.. or an Embermane Charges.

Now.. while I'm lumping this in with blue damage.. this isn't an exact science.

Very often - the slower, heavier weapons and attacks that deal stagger damage are also

the ones that if timed well can interrupt a behemoth.. but it's not always the case..

a lot of it comes down to trial and error.. and timing.

Most behemoths can be booped at some point and also require you putting yourself in harms

way to attempt it.. it's a fun risk vs reward minigame.. like a version of playing chicken.

Well then what about my red damage.. red damage is piercing.. or wound damage.

This is a type of damage that after enough of it is dealt to a specific part.. applies

a wound debuff.. that part will start oozing Aether to show it's been applied.. and anyone

who attacks that part will deal bonus damage.

So these three types of damage..

Part, Stagger and Wound Damage.. are important to recognize.

Now a lot of times they are tied to a weapon.. a War Pike dealsmainly piercing wound damage..

and a hammer mainly deals stagger blunt damage.. but you'll see, especially with skills and

cells, that you'll be able to deal damage types outside of weapon types.

The important thing I feel.. is to just.. play to your damage type.

If you're dealing wound damage.. your job I guess, is to debuff as many parts as possible..

that haven't been broken.

So hella focus on a part until it's debuffed.. then move to the next.. if you deal stagger

damage.. you should be on that head.. knock them out as much as possible.. if you are

dealing straight part damage.. cut off those parts.. cut off that tail as that dude ying

the hammer cannot cut it off.

Explaining this in great detail could be it's own video - but

a behemoth, technically, as a health bar that's hidden.

You'll notice this green, turqoise damage number pop up.

This is your raw or normal damage.. so when you swing with a hammer you see the blue stagger

damage AND the turqoise damage.

Only the normal damage is applied to the behemoths health.

Stagger.. and wound.. are in effect, status ailments.

They always come WITH normal damage.

This is important to know because there are so many ways to increase damage types.. and

yes, the number gets higher.. but you're not dealing any additional damage directly.. obviously..

debuffing faster or causing more knock outs is going to help in the long run...

Part damage.. yellow damage.. is slightly different.. but the same.

When you deal this damage you will not see the turqoise number - it's still there.. but

because it would usually be the exact same number.. it's hidden.

However.. same rule applies.. if you equipped a bunch of things that increases part damage..

you're going to see a higher damage number.. then what you're actually doing to

the behemoth.

Certain abilities or moves are tied to parts on a behemoth.. the most apparent way to see

the changes.. are the tail however others exist.

Because in most cases.. if you cut the tail off..

some of the tail focused abilities stop showing up.

Panger stops flicking ice projectiles..

Gnasher stops his tail smash.. however - this usualyl comes with them now using new abilities.

The Drask without his tail has this leap attack.. the Quillshot gets a hind kick.

Sometimes breaking a specific part can make the fight easier.. or harder depending on

the attack and your comfort level with it.. so especially in solo hunts.. you can prioritize

or ignore parts to make things easier for you.

Interacting with behemoths is always fun.. but so is watching people get wrecked.

So I'm going to leave you with a partial tip here.. there are quite a few projectiles that

exists that can be hit back towards the behemoth that through them for some unknown amount

of damage.

Consider this some sort of parity with faster weapons.. it's much easier or possible to

interrupt behemoths with slow weapons.. but much, much easier and safer to send a projectile

back with a fast weapon.

When your weapon is sheathed.. you don't spend stamina to run.

There are certain times in fights where you know you're going to need to dodge.. or run

away.. and you cannot realistically attack.

So sheath up.

Make it easier for yourself.. save some stamina.

This one is pretty straight forward - but is a change from last few testing phases.

All the gatherables on the islands or parts you break off and loot.. only are committed

to your inventory on a successful hunt.

So no more joining a hunt, gathering and then leaving.

Scattered around all the islands.. you'll see these floating.. whitish.. blueish.. wisps.

These are Aether Wisps and can provide a boost of energy.

The final tip.. really.. is you can disregard 90% of this stuff.

These types of games.. they can be fun to optimize they can be fun to play well.. but

it's not needed.

As long as the behemoth goes down.. as long as you had fun.. you're golden and you can

make most thing works.

You don't need to spend time getting the timings right to interrupt every behemoth with everyone

weapon.. you don't need to force your friends for the perfect group make-up and shot call

parts to attack.

You could.. some do.

You don't need to and will have just as rich an experience.

That's going to do it for me though.. until next time, this is Fevir, peace.

Heavy Class Guide - Blasters, Cards - Star Wars Battlefront 2 Guide - Duration: 10:06.

Hook The Heavy class In Star Wars Battlefront 2,

while not my favorite, alot of people seem to love them, and they've grown on me a

little bit since the release.

Granted, they seem alot more fun in first person.

Bumper

Intro The heavy class is probably my least favorite

in Star Wars battlefront 2.

That's not to say they're bad, they're just not my play style.

I find their weapons a little bland, their abilities a little lacking, but they're

battlepoints gain is pretty amazing.

I do find the heavy class a lot more fun to play in first person, since if I can see it

I can shoot it, and don't need to worry about a box blocking my rounds when I thought

I was clear of it, and they also seem to be a little bit easier to land shots at range.

Maybe it's just a mental thing, but I tend to do better with them in first person.

In this video we'll take a look at a brief summary of the weapons, their abilities, the

best cards to run and those to stay away from.

Stay tuned till the end and I'll go into detail why I don't really like the heavy

class, yep i got a graph for that.

Community is the most important part of any game, so head over to Star Wars Gaming .Net,

sign up on their forums and post your user name and system under the Greenie Weenie Master

List on the general forums.

That way you can find some cool people to play with that just want to have fun.

Then check out the news and the weekly newsletter Front Lines, so you don't miss anything

throughout the week.

Let's start with weapons.

If you're looking for more information for each individual weapon there's a link in

the corner of your screen now for the blaster break down playlist, so be sure to check that

out, here we're just going to compare the damages so you know what you're going up

against and running.

The chart that will be coming up just has the base weapons, I didn't add on the attachments

that effect damage sine that's alot of information to put on a slide and if you want that information

it's in each weapons individual video.

If your looking for the highest damage per round weapon, we have the DC-15LE with explosive

shot at 25 damage per round, but that attachment drops the rounds per minute to 450 and the

number of rounds available down to 25.

Since the negatives out weight the positives for the explosive shot, the highest damage

per round and having the weapon be viable (oh i'ma hear about that in the comments),

we have the FWMB-10K which at close range deals 24 damage per round and drops to 15

damage at long.

Even with the Ion Shot attachment, it still beats the other weapons at 22 damage at close

range an 13 at long.

This weapon also has 450 round per minute fire rate, similar to the DC-15LE Explosive

round, but it has 64 rouds available with the cooling modification, which is far more

than 25 the explosive shot gives.

The second highest damage per round goes to the TL-50.

The TL-50 does 20 damage at close range and drops down to a painful 10 damage per round

at long.

This weapon is probably the best close range weapon in class.

It will drops troopers quick had has a the fastest cooling time in class, matching the

assault class instead of the heavies.

This weapon also has a very fast rate of fire, at 700 rounds per minute, which is second

fastest in class, and an attachment for a secondary fire, which will replace your ability

to aim down sites.

If you land it right on top of the enemy it does around 100 damage and then drops off

quick since the blast radius is rather small.

With this weapon, I tend to run the improved spread and cooling since cooling is always

a go to, and the reduced spread makes hitting targets that are at medium range a little

easier.

Third in damage we have a tie between the default weapon and the DC-15LE.

Both weapons have identical damage profiles.

Both the inital weapon and the DC-15LE do 16 damage at close range and drop down to

10 at long.

The big difference between them is the rate of fire.

The DC-15LE has a rate of fire of 720 rounds per minute, making it the fastest round per

minute in the class and the inital weapon is at the 450 rounds per minute.

This makes the DC-15LE better than the starte weapon, not to mention that the DC-15LE is

the most accurate at range out of all the weapons in the heavy class as well.

Going into the best close range weapon, it obviously is the TL-50.

With it's fast rate of fire, higher damage than the DC-15LE and large magazine size with

improved cooling, this weapon is a beast up close.

Anything further than close range though and it goes over to the best all around weapon,

the FWMB-10K.

With it's high damage per round, it can drop enemies faster than any other weapon

in class if you land your shots at any distance.

You might as well run the ion shot as well since it doesn't really effect the time

to kill until you start pushing long range as well and can make quick work of other heavies

shields.

However, the slower rate of fire makes this weapon a little tedious at times.

Base Ability Description

For the abilities of the heavy class, they're alright, i guess, they are each useful when

used properly, however they're just not anyhting to write home about.

The left default ability, which is always the gernade is an impact gernade.

The impact gernade has neted probably the highest number of kills for me than any other

since if a target is low and dips behind cover you can pretty easily finish them off with

this one.

As for the right ability, its a personal shield.

It's simialar to a riot shield in other shooters, and will block incoming fire for

a short period of time, well long if you don't take to many hits since it's health based

not time based.

This will drop your speed down to a snails pace, and it doesn't rotate up if you are

looking upwards, so its only good for a head on engagement.

If you crouch it will cover your feet, however since most people don't you can easily just

get shot in the shins and die if you're playing someone who's thinking.

The Utltimate or middle ability is sentry.

Now sentry is a saving grace for the heavy class, it use to be better before supercharge

was nerfed, but we'll get into that, but it's still really good.

THis will basiclly replace you weapon with a mini gun for a short period of time and

is super accurate.

It has a very high rate of fire and can make qucik work of anyone in your path.

Again, like the shield it will bring your movement to a grinding halt, so don't move

to far into the open with this or you will get metled pretty quickly.

This abilitiy is especially strong on heroes, not as strong as it use to be, but still will

do a nubmer on them.

Cards

If you want to change out the default abilities, the heavy gives you a wide varitey of options.

Like the officer class, there are only a few I wouldn't recommend using, but thats mainly

due to better options for those slots.

You can make the worse versions work for you, just not as easily.

First we'll start with the ones you should use, or at least try out if you haven't

already.

We'll start with obviously the best card for the heavy class, the Ion Turret.

Now I hate using turrets in this game.

I truely dispise anything that doesn't require an action by the player to get a kill, and

the turrets in this game are drop and forget.

Unlike trip mines, or traps, turrets in this game lock on, fire, and kill for you no matter

where they are placed and don't die themselves unless you choose to detonate it, the enemy

focus fires it, which takes them out of the fight for a bit, or you die and it despawns.

Mines and traps are 1 kill and they're gone, but not turrets they last forever, and the

Ion turret has an unlimited range on it and will target enemy troopers first it seems.

THe ion turret is a must in any map that isn't a choke point map and even then, its a hard

toss up between it and the personal shield.

If you decide not to run the ion turret, the improved shield is great since it will buff

the health of your personal shield.

This will make it last longer and usualy help you win a gun fight.

It's a great option, but you could also use Barrage.

It's not as good, and is very situational, but if its a choke point map, you can usauly

net a kill or 2 with each use of it.

For the left ability, I would recommend the detonite charge.

Its great for setting traps or lobbing into a large group of troopers.

It blows up on commend so even if it doesn't go where you want it to, you can just wait

till someone is on top of it to blow it.

Its a great tool for choke poitns since you can preset it right inside the door and take

out the first wave with out firing a single shot.

When we look at the utltimate abilitiy, the only one worth using now is the Explosive

Senrty.

You can't move while you fire it, unlike the other versions, but it can do a ton of

damage and pretty much 1 shot most troopers if you land it right on top of them.

It's also great at taking out heroes or doing damage to objectives like AT-AT's

or the reactors on crait.

While i personally don't run it, I know alot of people do.

For non-ability cards, I run the defender card, which grants points on damage taken.

The reason i run this is i run the personal shield for the most part.

Since the shield can take a ton of damage, i get points each time it's hit.

It's just a way to maxamize my battle point gain, with that I also generally run bounty

hunter with it, since again, I'ma get that hero quick.

The only card I would say not to use anymore is the supercharge sentry.

This card was nerfed into oblivion awhile ago and just doesn't last long enoguh to

do any major damage.

It basicly requires you to be 100% on target if you are planning on getting a kill, and

thats rarely going to happen.

Thoughts on class

Again for the heavy class, they're just not my cup of tea.

THe main problem I have with them is thier low damage and slow rate of fire weapons compared

to the other classes in the game.

The slower rate of fire wouldn't be to bad if they actually did more damage per round,

but as of recording, every class has higher damaage weapons with faster rate of fire and

far better accuracy.

The cart on your screen now is the highest damage heavy, FWMB-10K, blue line, compared

to the lowest damage in every other class.

Yes, it beats out the CR-2, which is red, but the CR-2 has such a fast rate of fire,

that the FWMB-10k still falls behind in time to kill.

And the next closes would be the A280 for the assault class which runs the same damage

profile as the CFE, which is purple on the chart.

The biggest problem with the heavies is the weapons.

They're just so much weaker in comparision to the other classes and thier cooling time

is rediculously long for needing more rounds in order to get kills.

The only great thing about the heavy is the sentry in my opinion.

That ability is amazing.

The TL-50 is pretty good and what i'm mostly using in the game play for this video, but

it runs like the CR-2 from the assault class, but the assualt class has a better card and

abiltiy kit.

How To Lube A Bike Chain | GCN Tech's Guide To Oiling Your Bicycle Chain - Duration: 6:09.

(upbeat music)

- Lubricating your chain is not necessarily

as easy as it may sound,

certainly not for everybody out there.

So the purpose of lubricating your chain

is basically to have more efficient drivetrains,

that means a lower friction,

as well as reducing the chance of any corrosion,

plus the chance of wearing out prematurely.

So today we're gonna look at various methods

of lubricating your chain,

as well as different lubes for it.

(upbeat music)

Well firstly let's talk about Wet Lube.

So as the name says, it's wet when you apply it,

and basically it's designed for poor weather conditions.

So it does attract generally a little bit more dirt,

grime, dust, that kind of thing.

But importantly, it stays in place

when the heavens open and the rain starts coming down.

Doesn't wash off,

therefore giving you a squeaky bike.

Well worth it for the winter.

Then for dry conditions, we've got Dry Lube.

All sounds logical, doesn't it?

Although it's not strictly dry is it,

because look, there's some liquid in there.

Although if you apply it properly onto your chain,

after a few hours basically it leaves

a dry film-like coating across the chain links

and also the rollers too.

If you don't apply it properly,

it's just gonna attract a lot of extra dirt on there.

Now if you use this in the wet,

it is going to wash off pretty easily

giving you a loud squeaking noise,

and basically annoying everybody as well as yourself,

and importantly not giving you the efficiency you deserve,

as well as possibly wearing out too fast.

Now there are various different specialist lubricants

out there on the market.

Basically the purpose behind them is exactly like

the previous two we've just mentioned,

but generally they are gonna give you

a lower friction when you're pedaling along,

therefore allowing you to go a little bit faster

but for less effort.

So for example, you've got UFO Drip from CeramicSpeed,

you've got TS Bicycle Chain Lube,

Race Day Spray from Rex,

Chain Lube from Rex as well,

plus all importantly that chain waxing video

I did a little while ago where basically

I submerged a chain in some melting wax,

revealed it,

and the results speak for themselves.

But how to apply it?

This is probably where I'm at my absolute fussiest

when it comes to bike maintenance.

So important to remember is to basically have

your drivetrain as clean as possible,

so wipe away any excess lubricant,

use a degreaser and get it absolutely spotless.

Then find your joining pin,

or link,

and then rotate the chain backwards

until essentially you find that joining pin

in the bottom run of the chain,

that's quite important to remember.

And then I prefer to use a lubricant from a bottle,

because I find it easier to apply,

don't have the steadiest of hands.

That way as well you can also control

how much comes out as you're going along.

And then I start at that joining pin,

and basically only apply lubricant

to each individual roller.

And then as I'm going along,

just turn that pedal backwards,

and then so forth,

until that joining pin comes all the way back round,

then you know you've completed a full revolution.

Allow it to settle in for a little while,

so just 20, 30 seconds,

and then pedal it backwards

maybe for about 30 seconds this time,

and allowing the lubricant to work its way

fully into those rollers and pins.

Then in a couple of hours,

just wipe away any excess that you may well

have gotten outside of the chain links

because you don't need it there.

The only place you need that lubricant

is inside of the rollers and pins.

Let's not forget though about aerosols,

because they are a very, very popular choice

out there for lubricants.

Personally I don't find them as easy to use

as that of something in a bottle,

that's probably just because I've always tended

to use a drop-on type roller rather than an aerosol.

But with a little bit of caution,

they can work just as well.

But firstly, what are we gonna do.

Well if you've got disc rotors

or calipers on the bike,

you're gonna wanna try and protect them

from any wayward spray from the aerosol.

So get yourself some cloth

and basically cover them up.

And the same goes for braking surfaces too,

so try and work away from a rim brake

so basically you don't have poor braking

after you've lubed your chain.

Now there's a couple of different techniques here

that we can use.

The first one, and my preferred one,

is find yourself a friend

and essentially get them to backpedal

whilst you loosely grasp the chain with a cloth,

and then with the aerosol you spray each roller.

And then they're doing the hard work for you really,

pedaling that backwards.

Again, just like with the lubricant from a bottle,

start and finish at the same place

on the lower run of chain.

The other method is to do it yourself,

it's slightly more labor intensive,

although let's face it,

it's not really much work there is it.

So again you would just hold it and spray, spray, spray,

and then backpedal, spray, spray, spray,

and so forth.

Does take a little bit longer,

but hey, it's not that fun is it.

Now some of you out there will be wondering

why on earth I'm not just spraying

backwards and forwards,

and spinning the cranks around,

and using up half a can or half a bottle at a time.

Well, it's for that exact reason, wastage.

And also, you're not knowing where exactly

it's going that way, are you?

Be accurate, and that bottle of lubricant

or that aerosol of lubricant is gonna last you a lot longer.

Now just like the other methods,

spin the cranks round a couple of times

before wiping away any excess,

and then you're good to go out riding again.

But what I want to know is how do you oil your chain?

What's your preferred method,

from a bottle, from a can,

or do you wax it, who knows?

Let me know in the comments section down below.

Also, remember to like and share

this video with your friends,

especially if you ride with someone

and they've got a squeaky chain.

My pet hate.

Now remember as well to check out the GCN shop

at shop.globalcyclingnetwork.com.

And now for another video,

that's right, I dipped a chain in hot wax,

and we're back for another episode in this episode I'm gonna show you how you

can deal with overcrowding in bless online and as always hello hello hey so

what you do let's say for example everyone the servers have just come up

everyone is trying to loot this diary that spawns on this bed for a quest you

can see it's ridiculous yeah like how the hell are you ever gonna do it right

so what you do at the very top right of the screen click on Channel and change

channel simple as that now we're in channel 2 and look no one is here so if

I was someone to quest I'd have all to myself to do it this is very typical of

the sort of games so just take advantage of the channels to deal with

overcrowding and you can get what you want without having to worry about like

massive queues for people because everyone who's in the first channel

believe me they're gonna be there for a while if they're all competing for the

diary so yeah hopefully that will help you so if you liked this video one

second

if you like this video guys remember to give it a thumbs up you can watch a

Nicole and Eric's Guide to a Meaningful Life - Chairs - Live at Carver Branch Library - Duration: 4:15.

[Midtempo music]

I- [Loud keyboard note]

I think about all the chairs in my life.

I think about the dining room chair where I write my poems.

The easy chair where I binge watch TV and devour ice cream.

I even think of my toilet as a chair, where I get rid of all the crap in my life.

From the back patio chair I watch my corgi run around, and around, and around, until

he gets tired, and gets rid of the crap in his life.

Sometimes, I look at a chair and I wonder "how many people have sat in that seat?"

And sometimes I wonder if I'm sitting where someone important has once sat.

There are chairs I've never s- I've never sat in, and there are chairs I'd never sit

in again.

There are chairs that pass on pain like a dentist's chair and there are chairs that

pass on physical heat, like a chair at a packed Christmas party.

I think about people who would never give up their chair or who pay a lot of money for

a certain kind of chair.

And I think about the saddle on a horse's back and how that chair isn't really offered

but taken.

Some chairs seem lonely, like that old kitchen chair I saw in the middle of a field

among broken washers and dryers.

Mostly though, I think about my boyfriend's wheelchair.

This chair seems to be worse than death for some people.

It represents a barrier, but the real barriers lie outside it.

Those barriers are in other people's minds.

You can learn a lot from chairs.

[Music stops]

[Applause]
