Hello everyone Marisol Vasquez here from the language club today I would like to share with you some tips

That will be very useful if you're helping others

Practice or learn your language. So when you are participating in a language exchange, you will be playing two roles

sometimes you will be the guide or the teacher helping the others with your language and

Sometimes you'll be playing the role of the students and your language partners will be helping you with their language

So this tips are for you if you are in the teachers or the guide position

So the first thing I suggest is to always have a topic for the conversation

Because without the topic the conversation will go in all kinds of directions and the language exchange will not be very successful

because people will tend to talk about things they know and use vocabulary they know so when we use a topic

It forces people to get out of the comfort zone and that's the best way to learn new vocabulary

new expressions and to improve your language skills

You know when you are in a language exchange

Sometimes you will be sitting with one language partner or sometimes you will be sitting with the group

So in that case if you are helping a group of people to practice your language

I always suggest you sit at the end of the table in that way

They can see you and also you can you you will be able to see their facial

Expressions that will indicate if they understand what you're saying or not

You know your main role in the language exchange is

To initiate the conversation and to moderate the conversation. So you initiate the conversation by

Introducing the topic and you moderate the conversation by making sure everybody has the same amount of time to speak

So, you know in a group

Sometimes we have people that are more talkative and people that are more shy so it is your job to make sure

Everybody has the chance to interact

When you're working with beginners, I always make sure you speak very clearly and loud

It's kind of the same language at the same tone

You will be using when you're on the phone giving your address to somebody

So we are very careful when we do that to make sure we give this the good address

So use that kind of tone with your language partners when they're beginners

Also when you are working with groups that are a little bit more advanced or intermediate and

Make sure you always ask a lot of questions

Especially for the people that don't interact too much

you can always ask them my questions about what the others say and

Try to pick their brain and make them participate more in the conversation

Okay, now let's talk about how to handle mistakes

I highly suggest you don't interrupt a person in the middle of a sentence to correct her mistakes

So instead of that write down in a piece of paper

Anything you notice that is not right

And when the first the person is done speaking

Then you can go through the mistakes with her and you can also get the group involved in the correction of those mistakes

So as you can see your role as a teacher or a guide is the mostly to be a very good listener

To ask a lot of questions to keep the conversation going and to make sure

Everybody has the chance to interact during the conversation

All right, so those are my tips for you today, I hope they're useful for you and

Try to put them into practice in your next language exchange

Cambridge, England: Historic University Town - Rick Steves' Europe Travel Guide - Travel Bite - Duration: 4:20.

England's greatest universities, Oxford and Cambridge,

-In medieval Europe,

it was the church that was in charge of higher education,

At their historic front gates, you'll find a porter's lodge.

Here in Corpus Christi's Parker Library,

that college's literary treasures

are proudly on display, such as letters from Anne Boleyn

before husband Henry VIII lopped off her head

and a first edition of Newton's groundbreaking treatise,

"Principia Mathematica."

The exclusive putting-green quality of the courtyard lawns

is a huge deal here.

Generally, only senior professors

can walk on the courts,

the centerpiece of each college campus.

One of the powerhouse colleges at Cambridge is Kings,

which has a central courtyard

to match its esteemed reputation.

The 500-year-old Kings College Chapel,

built by Henrys VI through VIII,

is England's best surviving example

of late Gothic architecture.

With its emphasis on vertical lines,

it's called Perpendicular Gothic.

This is the most impressive building in Cambridge,

a masterpiece by Rubens, adorns the altar.

Trinity College, just next door,

was founded in 1546 by Henry VIII.

It's the richest and biggest in town.

Cambridge has produced nearly 100 Nobel Prize winners,

The great mathematician Sir Isaac Newton,

who both studied and taught at Trinity,

famously clapped his hands and timed the echo

Huh, 1,120 feet per second or 761 miles per hour

The colleges that face the Cam River

each have garden-like backyards that combine

to make the riverbank feel like a lush and exclusive park.

A beloved Cambridge tradition is a romantic and graceful glide

past these colleges in a traditional flat-bottomed punt.

Skilled locals make the ride look effortless.

-So this is Trinity College, and this is the Wren Library.

-You can hire a boat to enjoy a witty narration

by a student as you're pulled past fine college architecture.

-Yeah, these are called the "Backs," the backs of the river.

There's eight colleges along the river.

So this area is called the Backs because, quite simply,

it's the back of those colleges.

The only way you can see the backs of these colleges

is along the river, so the best way

to see the backs of all the colleges is by punting.

-Or, for a little levity and probably more exercise

than you really want, why not rent one yourself?

The punts are tougher to maneuver than they look.

Dr. Doe's Guide to Great Sex - Duration: 6:38.

Hi I'm Dr. Lindsey Doe.

Welcome to Sexplanations.

In a past episode of this show, I talked about what the research has to say about great sex.

Today we're going to talk about my version of great sex -- what makes sex great for me!!!

This episode is sponsored by adamandeve.com, an online sex toy store where you

can all sorts of things for great sex. Stick around until the end of the video for a special discount.

Onto the great sex!

[WHIP CRACKING, COUGH]

The research by Kleinplatz and colleagues identified these eight major components to

"great sex" : being present, connection, intimacy, communication, authenticity, transcendence,

exploration, and vulnerability.

I like these but I want to share my own checklist for great sex:

1. Give it six tries.

Unless the sex is no good very bad, must stop and never ever do that again, I recommend

having sex six times with a person before concluding that it won't be great.

This takes the pressure off the first try and reminds everyone playing that it's a

new behavior -- of course it's going to have some kinks to work out (or work in).

When my partner and I were first talking about sleeping together, he asked that I give him

more than one shot at sex so he could learn my body more and how to please me.

I offered six tries.

Sex was great on the first, but my guess is that this is because we were in the mindset

of learning and playing, not one and done, succeed or fail.

Having flexibility to decide if we liked it and how to improve made the sex better.

2. Phone sex first.

Before taking off your pants or lifting up your skirt, try flirting on the phone.

I know this is a big ask, especially for people who aren't comfortable talking about sex,

but you're going for great sex here!

If you really want it you'll have to be willing to say what you like and hear from

others what they are or aren't into.

Doing this on the phone does two things: one it builds sexual tension because you're

not right there cutting to the chase, and two, it cushions the vulnerability.

You can talk candidly about what you want without anyone feeling judged or rejected

by uncontrollable facial expressions.

The last time I started a relationship this way, I masturbated on the phone and described

what I was doing to myself and how my body was changing.

It gave the other person a sense that I know my body and I like pleasure.

Two very good ways to get great sex.

3. Play with yourself.

I can't stress enough how valuable it is to have intimate knowledge of your body, your

unique arousal cycle, and what does and doesn't turn you on.

Partner play can be amazing but it will be more frequently and more consistently great

if you figure out YOU and maintain connection with yourself.

Masturbating is also an excellent way to pre-game.

Rubbing one out before hanging out with your partner(s) can often mean that when you do

have sex, you'll be able to go longer, giving more time to explore each other's bodies,

and play around with different levels of arousal.

4. Have at least four options.

Great sex like great anything includes the ability to improvise when things don't go

the way you'd hoped.

For example, if a guest doesn't show up on a late night show, the great host knows

how to compensate.

If strawberries aren't in season, a great chef still knows how to garnish a cheesecake.

For me it's usually my hips that get tired, or my wrists, so back-up options might be

use a vibrator, positions on my side, take a break to read erotica or receive a massage.

5. Schedule sex.

Before sex education became popular and people learned to plan it like other aspects of their

lives, the best sex was thought to be spontaneous.

You're hiking in the woods and bam, you decide to give a blowjob behind a tree. Great!

Spontaneous sex can be great but it's much more likely to have great sex when it's

on the schedule.

It becomes something to look forward to, the vulva becomes wet closer to the time set aside

for sex.

And because you've thought it out, there's less likely to be disruptions, conflicts,

or false starts.

For example, you could decide on Tuesday at 7:30 and have a much higher chance at sex,

let alone great sex than "some time next week if it spontaneously happens."

Write it down, set an alarm on your phone, great sex.

6. Have sex more often.

Like most physical exercise, the more you do it, the more you improve, with some limits.

Yoga. Skiing. Swimming. Pingpong...

Your body becomes more familiar with what to expect -- so it's actually

ready to go the next time around.

I try to do dance fitness regularly.

When I miss a few weeks, I can still come back and get into it, but it's SO much more

fun and easy when I've been doing it consistently and I have control over my muscles and alignment.

Sex is the same, more often, more fun.

7. Aftercare.

I speak at universities and conferences.

It's really exhilarating to be on stage in front of hundreds of curious people and

I get a lot of energy from it, like sex.

When it's done though everyone goes home.

I come down off the high of speaking and get really lonely.

So just like with sex, the experience is greater for me when I have aftercare.

At speaking engagements this is people who want to go out for food afterward or friends

who can talk on the phone.

For sex this is holding my partner for a short bit, getting up to pee, then holding them

again as my body goes back to homeostasis.

Again, for me, great sex is not party party party, come, off to work.

It's party, party, party, come, cuddle, cuddle, cuddle.

8. Compliment.

Before, during, and after sex, give compliments.

Say what you honestly like, increasing the likelihood that you'll get it again.

Avoid making comparisons, like "the way you touch my nipples is better than anyone

I've ever been with" because it puts someone else down to put your partner up.

And avoid attaching too much criticism onto compliments like "the up down strokes with

your tongue were divine but gah, it hurt when you bit me.

It hurt so much."

This is a time to praise what you like and build self-esteem, offer performance reviews

but gently.

Like, "I love how you hold my arms down above my head because I feel dominated.

Maybe next time you can go a little lighter on the grip."

9. Be honest.

Not just in giving compliments, but in the relationship,

in how you live.

When people aren't honest with me, my body does things to armor itself and protect me.

This isn't the case for everyone but it's also not uncommon.

You might not be able to get an erection, or get wet, or relax enough for penetration.

You might break out in a yeast infection or skin rash and wonder why?

Body and or genital armoring is one explanation.

And certainly when my body is trying to guard me from another person great sex is nearly

impossible.

The greater the honesty, the greater the sex.

At least for me.

Lastly, number 10, stay curious.

Part of what I enjoy most about great sexual experiences is not knowing what's going

to happen next or what we might try to keep things playful and interesting in the future.

It helps to ask myself, "What can make great sex even better?

What needs improvement?

What could I try next?

What's already worked well that I can include again?

How might my partner feel about this?"

I love staying curious!

FALLOUT 76 Base Building Guide (Fallout 76 Basic Base Building Tutorial) - Duration: 6:47.

hi guys and welcome back no fallout 76 beta landed and surprisingly it run

really well and smooth for me anyway and let me know if you had any problems but

for me personally extreme very well would played really well and it kept me

interested for the fill team I was actually playing by the quests now I was

very limited entertainment hard because we only had four hours so I put a quick

tutorial and how to get your base set up so if you're new to follow 76 or

followed building that's just a quick insight to how to actually build a base

moving forward I will try and do banger bases and trap bases as we get more time

on the beta so let's get jump straight on and I'll show you exactly what you

need to do from the basics or base building now just like any survival base

building game you require resources to build your base this can be done and

Tori's first pick up random items as you do quests or run run them up exploring

tip them - what bench and just scrap all quite easy quite fast but you don't get

high levels of wood and wood as the one thing you're gonna need an early game to

get your base together I found a heading to the lumberjack site

and looking for fallen logs random trees have fallen over as well gallon the wood

from them is a quickest source to get wood no trying it as much as you can but

just remember he can't carry much you don't want to build a huge base to start

with remember you can expand on it you can

copy the base then pick it up and take it elsewhere so don't try and build a

mansion when all you need is a shed location is also key make sure you pick

a spot which is close to Rhodes and close to some sort of camp site so you

can get resources but make sure the level of the AI in our area isn't too

high above yours because you'll just get killed every time you try to run back

get stuff and you'll just die so once your location is quite simple from there

now as I said that location is key for this demonstration I have pretty quite

close to the lumberjack site and vote 76 why because it's early game I can get a

lot resources and chances are meeting other players is very high and they're

going to be all level because the practically just

spawned so I don't have to worry too much about people killing me because

they can't do anything until they're all five now it's quite easy all you have to

do is go to your pet boy activate your camp via the taskbar below it which we

will keel you have to use depending on what platform you're playing the game on

once I started drop it in the floor all you have to do then is go to a night of

it build mode once you activate ball mode

you'll see a different UI popup now bear in mind you're in a building mode so if

there's players of a higher level they can kill you so make sure you are okay

and safe before you do this now the UI is quite straightforward you just scroll

across the top I don't take to different sections of things that you can actually

build now I have actually already created foundations however you'll have

to Gwen to foundations find the one you want and start placing them no make sure

as I said before you have enough resources do not go too big too fast

faint level and start building away you can't put four nations too deep into the

ground so I'll block you from doing it so make sure you map out what floor plan

you want before you do this as I said do not go beg fast you can blip redness and

take it elsewhere pack up walls move walls modify walls

you don't have to go huge straightaway now once that's in place and your

boyfriend ations you stop in your wall zone put a simple

riff in place then put your door in no to get the door frame itself all you

have to do is go to the wall and for Xbox press rate and it will show you the

door frame once you've got that up place it down and then navigate across two

doors the doors are quite simple there nothing major just put it in place and

it should keep you safe for the time being

now as I said you can modify your base a lit up date as you can see here you can

actually pick up walls and move them they can then be created into windows or

doors or just passages interracial areas so don't think too complex at the very

start just find basic enough to get you your

stash box the simple things and just secure for the server know just like

your starter base you want to keep that's very simple have the basics and

now you don't have a farming constantly to try and get high to your stuff for a

little shot shot I recommend having a simple campfire or some sort of stove

have a mattress to rest and a stash box no stash box is key because you can put

items and there from any location with a personal stash can be found so that's an

able sure to dump it all in there head back to base from whatever location

you're in look on the way back and get all your stuff when you get back there

safely no only you can see in a stash box so something happens if your

biscuits destroyed et cetera no one can get the stuff and now as yours normally

you can see it so it's key that you use that all the time

now there's also external fortifications you probably won't need s early-game

however when you just pack up your base and move it to a more hostile location

this could be critical now these are just basic things I'm going to show you

just fortify the front doors make sure that you have Elena say and some other

thing it cover so if you are being ambushed or if you're in an area where

there's wholesale a I use summer to hide very simple very basic again this is all

in wood because of the blueprint yet to actually make the bit of things that are

actually available to you and the game but nonetheless they are extremely

important as you progress so guys that is a very basic tutorial on how to be

spelled and followed 76 know I know a lot of people think yeah that is very

basic but a lot of players won't actually know how to be spell because

it's new to them they maybe didn't do it and follow for they ignore that and just

play the storyline this is him towards them and maybe refresher to other people

and just to see how the UI actually walks now now for the rest a beta and

you're trying level up and get all the blueprints and try and do more

progressive bells and better build locations so stay tuned for that as well

I walks with doing more guides on follows 76 as I'm going to find them and

any big up there and use that I do I also place come

I do updates for that as well your warm welcome to check them out again I've got

a lot of gauging to toward us for that as well

so guys thanks up and bye and I will catch you in the next one

Red Dead Redemption 2: Beginner's Guide | What to know before you start playing - Duration: 4:23.

Bout' to dip into Red Dead Redemption 2?

Well saddle up, because it is a doozie.

Here are some things we wish we knew before we started playing.

For one thing, the first few hours are almost entirely linear.

Don't worry about it and just enjoy the ride.

After the introductory segment it'll be very clear to you that the map has opened up.

That's where things get interesting.

When the game opens up, you don't need to sprint anywhere or do anything, and Red Dead

Redemption 2 won't nag you about what to do next.

Time is not of the essence.

You have options.

If you want to head to the yellow circles on your map and take on missions, you're

free to do so.

If you want to explore or hunt or see what's going on in camp, that's cool, too.

Play the game at your own pace, pay attention to what's around you, and just generally

behave in a way that seems like Arthur would behave.

There's no rush.

During the intro of Red Dead 2 you'll have a couple gunfights that will leave a ton of

bodies scattered on the ground.

Your AI buddies will tell you to hurry up.

Ignore them and PILLAGE!

Yes, you should loot everybody on the ground.

You'll come away with a little spending money and plenty of extra ammo once the map

opens  up.

Maintain this mentality through the rest of the game.

When things quiet down, take a few seconds to loot any bodies, as well as the environment

around you.

If you haven't looted a body it will show up as an black X on your radar.

Also, uh, check the chimneys.

For some reason people hide a ton of money in chimneys.

You may feel like you'll want to upgrade to a better horse right when the map opens up.

Fight that urge.

The horse you start with will essentially be as good as any other horse that you can

find early on in the game, save for slightly different stats.

The more you use that starter horse the better your bond will be, increasing your horse's

stamina and, more importantly, its love for you.

There will come a time, much later in the game, when you can find Elite horses.

These are super expensive, and offer better maximum stats, but again, they won't come

into play for quite a while, so don't worry about it.

The expanse of map you have access to after the prologue is enormous.

But it's not infinite.

It will be very clear that there are certain areas you just shouldn't go.

Blackwater, and basically anywhere southwest of Blackwater, are marked as

Wanted Dead or Alive on your map.

You can try to go there, but you won't last long.

Deep into the story, more areas will unlock, but don't try to mainline the story thinking

you'll be able to fill out the map in just a few hours like you could in GTA 5.

In Red Dead 2 it can take dozens and dozens of hours to do that.

Seriously.

Be happy with what you got for now.

Dead Eye is particularly tough to refill naturally.

You basically have to get kills without using deadeye.

Thankfully there's a much easier way: chewing tobacco.

It's a commonly found consumable on various bodies in Red Dead 2 and will instantly top

off your Dead Eye ring.

Hopefully you'll be done playing by the time the downside of chewing tobacco becomes apparent.

Early on you'll be given the option to spend money on upgrading your camp.

It's a nice thing to consider long-term, but short-term don't stress about dropping

a ton of cash here.

The upgrades that you unlock are useful but far from mandatory for the first ten hours

of the game and you'd be better off making sure you've got enough walking around money.

During missions it's always good to make sure you've got the proper equipment.

You can customize your weapon and item wheel when standing next to or riding on your horse,

and it's a good idea to focus on versatility.

If you've got a bow for stealth kills, maybe think about bringing a repeater rifle as a

backup in case things get really hairy.

Ditto for your items.

Bring provisions and tonics that'll help you top off your various stats, and make sure

you don't need to buy or craft more before you head into dangerous territory.

Lastly and perhaps most importantly:

take in that natural splendor.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is one of the most visually impressive games ever made,

and there are incredible vistas at every turn.

Every once in a while we'd recommend you sit a spell and just bask in it.

Pard'ner

Hey everyone! We're gonna have a bunch more Red Dead stuff coming at you real soon on the main channel,

also on the Polygon Guides channel, we're gonna have a lot more explainers going through

how the core system works, stuff like that.

So definitely check out that, it's already live now.

Otherwise, enjoy Red Dead!
