The Ultimate Guide to Planting Carrots - Duration: 8:42.

today I'm gonna show you how you can grow wheel barrow loads full of carrots in

just a 15 by 40 space in your garden talking to customers over the years

carrots seem to be one of those crops that a lot

of people struggle with whether it's the germination planting them too thick

not planting them thick enough it's just one of those troublesome crops for a lot

of people out there so today I want to show you our technique for planting

carrots and we've been using this technique for about three years now and

it works really well for us now this is by no means the the only way you can

plant carrots are several different ways I've seen people do it successfully but

this is the way that's been working for us in the fall and in the spring for the

last three years first let's talk about timing or when you should plant your

carrots for germination carrots prefer a salt in for about 75 to 80 degrees so

based on that we can't really grow carrots sure in the hotter months we

have to grow them during the cooler times of the year so we usually plant

carrots in the fall towards the end of October once the temperatures have

cooled off a little bit and we'll let them overwinter and then harvest them in

early spring and we can also plant another crop in early spring as long as

it's early enough say in February or so so the carrots are ready by the time the

warm weather comes around in May as opposed to a lot of the other crops we

plant carrots take a long time to germinate sometimes even up to two weeks

if you have a lot of heavy weed pressure that can be a problem because what

happen is those weeds are going to come up and they're gonna out-compete those

carrots so you're not gonna get a good stand of carrots so when you're getting

ready to plant carrots you want to make sure you've got a good stale weed seed

bed you don't want to have a lot of weed seeds in the soil that are gonna come up

and try to compete with those carrots that are sprouting there's a couple

different ways you can do this I prefer to just use the wheel hoe and just

cultivate the area about twice a week for a month so I'll have my area that

I'm gonna plant carrots in set out a month in advance and I'll just run the

wheel hoe through there repeatedly kill any of those new weeds are going to

emerge and it really creates that stale weed seed bed

you can also use a flame leader I've seen people do that you can also tarp

the area and that will help to kill a lot of those weeds are in the soil and

reduce the amount of weed pressure you're gonna have once you plant the

carrots so right behind me here I've got a little plot where I planted my carrots

this year it's 15 foot wide by 40 foot long as with a lot of other things we

plant we like to plant those carrots on double rows and then I like to put those

double rows three feet apart so the first thing I did was take some stakes I

marked off where my rows are gonna be and then put a stake at the end of each

row so I can drive to that with my wheel hoe and make sure I get a nice straight

row as you might have seen in some of our other videos we like to bury our

drip tape it just works so much better that way

so the first step with that is to take the double wheel hoe with the plow set

and the furrow in position and make a furrow where I rows are going to be in

most cases I usually like to put a little compost down in that furrow as

well before I add the drip tape but I was out of compost this time so I'll

just have to inject some fertilizers through that drip tape once those

carrots come up then I took my drip tape layer ran along those furrows there laid

the drip tape in the furrow cover that up and that buried drip tape is gonna be

really nice for us with these carrots because it allows us to keep that bed

wet while those carrots are waiting to germinate or sprout up out of the soil

now another nice thing about that drip tape layer attachment is that as you're

running along the roads they're laying the tape and covering it those plow

attachments that are covering the tape create two little perfect planting

furrows on each side of that tape which is just great for planting double rows

so we can get two rows or crop per one row of tape now let's talk about the

varieties we like to plant and how we actually plant those seeds now I like to

plant orange carrots yellow carrots and purple carrots you can find these kind

of rainbow blend mixes out there but from my experiences you end up getting a

lot more oranges and not enough for the colorful ones that you may want so I

found it's better to just plant individual rows of each color as a

- planning those blends there's a lot of varieties of orange carrots out there

the one I'm planting this year is called bolero I planted one called Miami in the

past they're pretty similar and I expect the same results from the bolero variety

as I've gotten from that Miami variety over the years the yellow variety I

planted is called yellow stone you can find this by a ton of different names

but standard yellow carrot and then the purple and I'm planting is called Purple

Haze that also you'll see depending on what seed company you get it from will

be different names for this a purple flesh carrot that does really well as

far as planting carrots go if you want to plant carrots with a mechanical or a

walk-behind cedar you have to use pelleted seed a pelleted seed is

basically when they take the carrot seed and they coat it with clay to make it

round so it feeds through the cedar properly now I've had good success with

a pelleted seed in the past but over the last couple years I've just been using

raw carrot seed and planting by hand I like to plant my carrots in a band

instead of a single linear row and I can do that well plant them by hand with the

raw seed also sometimes that pelleted seed doesn't give me the best

germination so I've been doing the raw seed the last couple years planting by

hand it takes a little longer but it's really not that significant when you're

just doing five rows like this so what I like to do is take me a little

Tupperware container and I want to dump all my seeds for each variety into that

little container and that lets me access or be able to grab the seeds a little

easier then I just grab a pinch of seeds and I just scatter them along that row

there I like to plant my own pretty thick and I don't thin them I'm not

looking for all uniform size carrots we like some small ones for some

applications some of the bigger ones for other applications so we just kind of

scatter them liberally along that little mini furrow down beside that drip tape

and once I've got those seeds down all I need to do is cover them up and pack

down that area a little bit so I take my garden rake and I just put a light

covering of soil on top of those seeds you definitely don't want to plant them

too deep so just a light covering go down both sides of that double row

there and then I'll turn my garden rake over and walk down that road and kind of

tamp it down so I'll make sure I get good seed to soil contact with my carrot

seed and then finally the last thing we need to do is water these carrots in now

the drip tape makes it really easy because I can just put that water where

I need it I'm not putting water in those middles

between the rows and I'm not getting weeds there because of that now this is

one of the areas I see people make the most mistakes is they don't keep the

carrot bed wet enough during the germination process so what I'll do is

I'll turn this drip tape on and I'll let it run all night up to 12 hours

sometimes until that entire bed I can see is soaked and saturated and if we

don't get any rain I might do that two or three times until they germinate but

it's really important to keep that bed wet to get a really solid germination

from your carrots once those carrots come up and start to

grow they're pretty maintenance-free throughout the winter with the exception

of a little wheel hoeing here and there or using that single time cultivator to

run between the carrot rows they don't really take a lot of effort after that

the hardest part is actually getting them to germinate and getting a good

stand of carrots to start with that's where most people seem to have the most

trouble so if you've struggled with carrots in the past definitely give this

technique a try it's worked really well for us and I think it'll really work

well in your garden too if you have any more questions about planting carrots or

growing carrots put those in the comments we'll be glad to try to answer

them for you if you're interested in any of these products we used to plant those

carrots I'll put some links in the description and you can check those out

Welcome

...to the center of health and wellness.

That's why I'm dressed a little bit like a self-help guru.

Hi, I'm Jennifer Lopez

and this is how you reinvent yourself.

Who says you can't start learning how to play the piano at 50?

You can. You're here until you're dead.

So, might as well do sh*t.

I don't know (laughter).

It's such an antiquated way of thinking

that women over a certain age... What's that age?

What is that age? What did that age used to be? It sounds so crazy to me.

Was it 25? Was it 35? Was it 40?

Is it 50?

No baby.

I am open and receptive to all the

goodness and abundance the universe has to offer.

I learned all this from Louise Hay.

You should read some of her books. She recently passed away, but,

but helped me so much in my life.

Just her philosophies and the idea of thinking positively.

Do women feel the need to apologize for wanting it all?

We shouldn't.

We deserve whatever any other man on this planet has and deserves.

And why not?

Look at your whole life.

Choose one thing.

Pick one thing that you know you can handle. That you can fix.

Whether it's work, or relationship, or this or that, or whatever.

You know, and just go, "Okay, I'm gonna handle this part first."

And when I handle that? Everything else is gonna fall into place.

When you feel good inside, you kind of, like, you start pimping yourself a little bit right?

Get my hair done. My nails did. It's taking care of yourself, being healthy.

Going to the gym. Eating right.

You know, telling yourself kind things.

Ok, you can run that back.

Those type of things that...

starts inside, but also manifests itself on the outside.

It's such a cliche thing to say, like, "be true to yourself" and all of these types of phrases.

But it's so true. It's just, like, you have to always be checking in with yourself

and making sure, like, am I happy where I am?

Is there something I should change?

Am I not fulfilled in some way?

And it's your responsibility to take care of yourself.

And that is how you reinvent yourself ladies.

Vegito Guide - Dragon Ball FighterZ Tutorial - Duration: 32:05.

... where to begin? Well for starters Vegito is perhaps

the most misleading character in the game. At first glance he looks like a

monster being able to mix and match normals, fast traveling attacks with a

real nice crouching medium, possessing an Android 16-like air grab,

and the longest range anti-air special. Then you quickly find out that

linking all those normals doesn't do much in terms of damage, it's hard to

open people up with the single hopping low medium, the air grab isn't even close

to 16's, and crouching special is only used in combos. I'm not saying he's bad, it's just

that initial expectations are wrong. Vegito doesn't have to worry about

anything when sparking, however, he can be effective outside of sparking with a

decent amount of meter and assists. so contrary to popular belief he's a

terrible point character. if your team isn't meter dependent Vegito can work as

your second, if not he's best as an anchor. it seems like for every good

thing you can say about his normals there's the bad side to it. his standing

light is great due to the range and number of hits, however on whiff you're wide

open. his crouching light allows you to go back to the start of your combo chain,

but it's slow and doesn't hit low. his ki attacks are good, but his air heavies are

limiting. all in all I think it rounds out to above average but you can get in

a lot of trouble if used carelessly; Vegito is not for novice players.

surgical strikes with standing special can be effective but as a whole Vegito

doesn't have much of a full screen presence, and if your opponent wants to

get in on you... they're going to get in with little resistance. he has a lot of

forward momentum with this attacks but it's hard to gain any advantage from

them on whiff. Vegito is more of a calm calculated character in the matchup, so

despite what it seems I'd say he's average in the mobility department. on the

surface it doesn't look like Vegeta has a lot to

work with and outside of spark he's too needy, but during spark you can

build enough meter to end with a level-3 easily and then subject them to

one of the best 50/50's in the game; in the right hands Vegito is a better

version of Bardock but he has a much higher learning curve.

quarter-circle back and attack is your air grab... which you'll be using this a

lot. whether you're on the ground or in the air the properties are the same. the

light version comes out fast and travels upward more-so than the other versions,

which means the forward movement is the shortest. it doesn't count as a smash and

it doesn't give you a slide knockdown. the medium version has a longer startup

but it travels more out of 45-degree angle. it counts as a smash and it gives

you a sliding knockdown with some added damage. the heavy version like

usual contains the best qualities of both having a fast startup and giving

you a sliding knockdown. the travel angle is less than 45 degrees so it's

easier to combo into, it also does a lot more damage than the medium coming in at

17 percent when the medium is 11. all versions scale your combo by 3 if

it's the initial hit, and is extremely difficult to combo afterwards unless

you're using a vanishing attack or a super. the primary use is in combos... more

specifically at the end of your combo after a vanishing attack that gets you

corner pressure. quarter circle forward and attack will send Vegito flying

forward with some kicks... not the most flattering description but that's what

he does. if performed on the ground you're not considered airborne just in

case your opponent tries to crouching heavy you. the light version comes out

fast and... well... it comes out fast. the medium is a little slower and goes

slightly further but it does more damage with some extra kicks, it's also a smash

and wall bounces if you're by the corner allowing for a meterless extension. and

the heavy one expands on the medium with significantly increased range, a

faster startup, more damage, and you travel forward after the final hit to

help with wall bounce extensions. you'll be using this mainly in combos and blockstrings,

however you can use it to close the distance very quickly in the neutral.

quarter circle forward and special is your general-purpose ki blast. and since it's

the ki blast your opponent can cancel their guard with a reflect or superdash and

fly right through it. it scales your combo by 2 if it's the

combo starter and it's pretty generous with the hit conformation considering

it's a ki blast. you'd use this sparingly in the long range

neutral to get people to calm down. quarter circle back and special is your

counter, if successful, you're going to go into your auto combo grab which retains

the smash property but you can't naturally follow up with the superdash. and since

it's a special move you can't cancel into another special either. it doesn't

launch your opponent as high but it does knock them back further

so assist conversions outside of the corner will vary. it scales by 4, which

is 1 more than the auto combo version so don't expect big damage. assist

can trigger the counter but supers and grabs plow right through it. it's not active on

the first frame so you're still going to need reflect, plus you can miss but usually

you'll go unpunished thanks to your forward movement. it's main usage when

you think your opponent is gonna jump in on you. it's not advised against block

strings where your opponent uses a natural gap, but if it's a slightly

delayed medium or whatever, this will do the trick since it's highly unlikely

your opponent will be frame-perfect. so basically if your opponent has a time

an attack this is your best friend.

here's an overview of what attacks should be on your mind in a general matchup.

in the long range neutral if your opponent is actively trying to tag you

with their ki blast, super jump up and toss out your ki blast. yes, I know it's

difficult to hit-confirm in to a vanishing attack, but that's not the goal;

we just want to get your opponent to stop throwing ki blasts at you and

considering that most characters can't direct projectiles upwards they're gonna

have to stop and play a little defense. as soon as your opponent starts playing

defense use a max range standing forward special and buffer the genie kicks.

if forward special impacts the genie kicks come flying out and if your opponent ate

it hopefully you're close enough to the corner to convert, which if you use the

heavy genie kicks you can combo from mid stage. if your opponent happen to block

forward special... well now they're in a blockstring.

and if you whiff forward special... well nothing happens at best;

the genie kicks don't come out and you keep playing the neutral... and that worst

you might have a ki blast headed your way, and if that's the case cancel to

your vanishing attack. which eating a counter vanishing attack is much better

than getting comboed. just outside of mid range you have your generic options

which are better than most other characters because of Vegito's crouching

medium is long range and has a little hop at the beginning... kind of resembling

a jumping low air dash. on impact just go into your block string. and if they

happen to get hit, the easiest conversion is crouching heavy when you realize they

got hit. and when you're up close, standing light is your best friend. it's

obviously quick and has great forward movement with multiple hits allowing you

to easily confirm into whatever you want. just make sure not to get too carefree

with it; if you whiff you will be forced to use a vanishing attack to avoid punishment.

even though Vegito is best as an anchor, you might want to get him in the fight

early to allow other characters to regenerate blue health or maybe you just

have another anchor you want to run solo with. whatever the reason it's good to

know how assists can help you in a fight. you probably noticed that there's no low

juggle extension... and that's because his jumping heavy doesn't knock your

opponent downward normally; you'll have to use his full light auto combo to get

that and you'll need an assist to keep them low. then the extension itself is

pretty difficult and not everyone can do it. and it's all for what? a very minor

damage increase and some meter at the expense of both your assists, which means

you can't apply a proper blockstring afterwards and you lose the corner?

not worth it... corner dragon rush extensions don't even

work really because of the height and there's only two attacks that send the

opponent downward, his air grab, but you need that to end combos or else you're going

to lose the corner... and the second attack is your dragon rush, but you can't use

two dragon rushes in the same combo. but you guys already know that Vegito

doesn't get a whole lot from using assists in standard combos. let's start

with the main reason to use assist: the self-sustaining blockstring. this

column shows you to what degree an assist can cover the end of your loop

before you repeat. a green rating means that there are no gaps when using your

assist and allows you to go back into the loop with no reflect points.

the other column is your extension after a counter. it's not the most important

conversion in the world, but it's nice to get more damage and build meter when

you can... especially seen as it's not difficult to do.

Alright, that's all. if you don't care to see the details of this, skip to the time listed at the bottom of the screen.

the blockstring point structure is a normal affair.

one point if it's usable but there's a problem with it. two points if there's only one

reflect spot and your opponent can't get away from it. and three points if it's

gapless. we're going to the actual details of the blockstring later in the video.

here's the timing chart of the assists.

keep looking... keep looking... alright that's enough. Trunks has two gaps and the timing window isn't

very forgiving, but he can keep your opponent in place and protect you.

kid Gohan is gapless however it only works in the corner.

piccolo only works in the corner, has a gap, and counts as a small ki blast so you

can be interrupted. because of all this I can't give him any points, but if your

opponent is too scared to take a chance it'll do the job.

Super Saiyan Vegeta is gapless but since it's considered a small ki blasts you

can be interrupted or reflected at any point so it's actually full of gaps.

Vegeta's timing is a little after the first impact of the medium genie kicks.

there are two gaps but if time correctly your opponent can't get away.

Beerus has a gap that your opponent can reflect out of, but it'll punish jumps. your opponent

can also backdash out with some pinpoint timing... they have to jump

afterwards or else crouching light will catch them.

Vegeta Blue is in-fact gapless. he needs to be called out when standing special impacts. you got to be

quick with the genie kicks afterwards to maintain the block stun.

Gohan is gapless, but only works in the corner and the timing is a frame so before the impact freeze

ends on the second genie kick. the timing isn't easy so you're going to have to practice it.

Majin Buu has two reflect gaps but your opponent will get hit if

they try to jump or backdash out of it.

Krillin is gapless but only works in the corner. you'll have to remove the crouching light after the assist to make it work though.

Cell is gapless but since it takes him a while to jump out you're

going to have to slightly delay the heavy as opposed to the typical second medium.

now for the other column: your counter. you won't center your whole game around it

but it's nice to use and punish your opponent for being predictable.

since the damage will be heavily scaled it's generally not recommended to use

meter if it's not going to kill or setup for corner level3. one point if you

can combo with the jumping attack and two points if you can combo with the

grounded attack... most likely a standing light. here's the timing chart. you'll

notice that a lot of people have similar timing thanks to the hit-stun after

the counter. you'll usually have to dash up to them and use a standing light or

super jump; if it differs I'll let you know. oh and Bardock is really strict,

that's why he's in red... strict Bardock.

a standing light is possible with Bardock but it's really strict so he lost a point.

with Super Saiyan Goku and Goku Black follow up with the super dash.

Zamasu is a bit harder here's the timing for it. it's a little before the freeze frame but not too close.

Vegeta can get a standing light but it's strict so it's best just to use a super dash instead.

when using Beerus you got to be really quick with that standing light afterwards.

Yamcha can get a crouching medium if you quickly dash for a few frames first.

with 16 make sure to dash before your super jump. it's not an easy extension.

if you want to an easier extension with Cell just use a super dash.

as many of you already know Vegito has a problem opening up opponents because he

doesn't have a low crouching light or any other means beyond the generic

mid range options... so stop worrying about it and just force your blockstring on

them. yeah it's true you can block the whole thing low, but who cares? it's not your

job to mix them up, it's your opponents job to get out of it...

and if they don't make any attempt... oh well, I guess we'll just be like this

forever... slowly causing block damage as meter builds for both.

sounds like an awful movie, but whatever. I know this sounds

weird because everyone has this impulse to destroy your opponent as quickly as

possible but if they have the nerve to wait you out you should have the nerve

to keep doing your blockstring. keep in mind that non-sparking Vegito needs a

lot of meter to do really dirty stuff so build all the meter you can and when

your opponent finally tries to get out you'll have enough meter to use the more

effective setups. this blockstring requires you to slightly delay the

second medium with most assists... Cell specifically needs more time so it's the

heavy with him. the delay should be small enough to the point where if your

opponent tries to jump out they'll get hit. if your opponent is trying to

reflect your second slightly delayed medium, just delay your heavy instead.

your opponent will have to stand to reflect thus they'll get hit low then

smashed with standing heavy for a combo. alternatively you can just stop

the blockstring after the first medium then low air dash past them with the

heavy to punish the reflect. or if you want to punish a reflect after the

second medium... well, just do a second crouching medium instead of the heavy for a punish.

the second reflect point is after the standing special

because it's a small ki blast, but don't worry about getting a super dashed... it's not

going to end well for your opponent. if you think your opponent is going to try to

reflect after standing special, just use a light or a medium for the punish.

from this point on any additional gaps is based on your assist... and the assists I'm

using for the example are completely gapless, so this blockstring has two

reflect spots and some manual timing leaving more room for error.

not the greatest blockstring in the game, but it's not the worst either.

something I'd like to address right now... I'm not the greatest person when it

comes to precision and execution, I'd say I'm about average.

so this took me about 30 minutes of practicing to get the timing down pretty

well for both assists. you'll have to practice it for a while but it's not

impossible. And for what it's worth I'm still amazed that the only block-

string we see in competitive play is from adult Gohan.

I'm going to show you the only reason you need to argue Vegito's worth is more than just a battery on point.

you're probably thinking, "alright, so you hit the opponent post level3 with the

second hit of the auto combo... what's the big deal?" let's watch that again...

and now you're probably thinking that it looked like the grab from the auto combo

and if that's the case you'd be correct. post level3 in the corner, this is a

true 50/50 where if they guess wrong they die... and if they guess right they

block your assist and you still have the advantage.

let's take a look side-by-side out the 50/50.

yeah, your opponent is going to have to flip a coin on this one. without factoring in any assists, the kick beats

attacks and jumps, but loses to reflect. the grab beats blocking and reflects, but

loses to attacks and jumps. then factoring assists in, you can keep the advantage on a wrong guess.

now the timing for this will take some practice, however it's 100% possible to

get it down. the key is not to mash and properly time each attack. push light as

soon as the opponent hits the ground after the super, then if you want to go

for the grab slightly buffer the second hit, then time the light again for the grab.

if you want to go for the kick instead, push light as soon as the opponent

touches the ground like normal... but then time the second hit to be a frame or two late.

don't buffer it! if you buffer the second

hit it'll come out immediately in you're likely whiff it.

I know it it seems very difficult but with some practice and a few days you'll

be able to get it down pretty reliably. the reason why you don't want to mash

this out is because you don't know what you're going to get... plus if it comes out

frame one after the super you'll completely whiff the whole thing. so it's

a benefit that you're not frame perfect. this is definitely a two combo kill, just

remember that if you go for the grab you got to be creative with your assist

combo afterwards. personally I like to use an assist to get that low super dash

impact so I can bounce them off the wall and protect myself in case my opponent

guessed right, but not all assist can do that... so this will boil down to your

specific team; then there's the matter of extending it even further like I did

with the dragon rush.

when you're in spark you don't have to worry about meter because all his optimal

combos build plenty of it, which also includes the post-level3 combo.

trust me this 50/50 is the reason to play Vegito and makes him a serious threat.

do not use this man on point because you won't have access to this if you do.

okay okay the setup is pretty dirty, but what about those pesky opponents who

aren't shy about using a level3 on wake up?

well you can opt to punish it by canceling into a vanishing attack when

the second attack impacts with the kick setup... or rather a frame or two after the impact

you'll be in the early frames of your vanishing attack when the level3

activates so you're still considering in front of your opponent.

with good timing you'll get a full combo punish with your vanishing attack

passing right through them. with bad timing you just kick them away.

and with sparking good or bad you're going to get a full combo punish since you

can cancel the vanishing attack.

and of course if they didn't go for the level3 and got hit by the kick

if you're in sparking they're so dead seeing as you can easily get an 88% combo

afterwards, but you'll never see it because they'll die away before the end.

outside of sparking... maybe not. it depends on how much damage the first combo did

and how creative your second combo is since the vanishing attack will heavily

scale your damage.

make sure to use an assist to cover your vanishing attack outside of sparking

or else you could be punished on block.

Vegito's biggest weakness is that it's difficult to open up your opponent... which

you shouldn't feel obligated to force a mixup if it's not going to be effective.

because that will get you punished at worse, or allow your opponent to get out

of your blockstring easily at best. so if Vegito is your second character

well the story ends here... but if he's your teams last resort you have a few

ways to apply pressure and even mixup your opponent when sparking beyond the

generic options. the main string is standing light light medium, crouching light,

jump cancel into special, then forward air dash with light light before you land.

when jump cancelling into special you

don't want to be too low to the ground or else it won't let you dash. it'll take

some practice to get down consistently but it's not too difficult. your opponent

will get hit if they try to jump out or anti-air you after the crouching light

and the air dashing light light completely jail so crouching heavies or reflects can't

stop you... then you land and start the loop all over again with standing light light, which also jails.

you'll be using this most of the time since it's the

safest and easiest that hit confirm off of. now for the flowchart... the

purpose of this is to randomize which paths you take seeing as they all have

individual strengths and weaknesses to make it as difficult as possible for

your opponent to stay safe. so let's look at your first choices... light light medium

crouching light gives you the most frame advantage, however there's a gap

before the crouching light impacts so if your opponent's gutsy they can reflect

or jump out. which brings us to light light medium crouching medium, which

visually looks similar and has no gap and hits low... thus it will punish people

who try to reflect or jump out, but your options aren't as solid as the previous.

generally speaking until your opponent gives you a reason to use the crouching

medium starter, take advantage of the crouching light starter.

as mentioned earlier the jumping special is your safest bet from the light light

medium crouching light starter. it'll hit people who try to attack and jump, but it

can be reflected... which brings us to the second option... a low air dash into a

medium. it'll perfectly punish people who try to reflect because they're going to get

a forward special instead since you're going to be behind them by the time they

come out of their block-stun... but it loses to attacks, so it's a good mixup

with the jump special that beats attacks but loses to reflects. now let's look at

the light light medium crouching medium followups. going into standing special

then jump canceling into special is interesting because standing special

allows your opponent to cancel their block with a reflect, therefore it will cause the

reflect to come out too early and jumping special will impact during their recovery frames.

the downside is that your opponent can jump or backdash out of it...

hell, if they start blocking high too early they can walk out of it, and on top

of that if you're a few frames late you can be interrupted... so only use this if

your opponent is reflect-happy. so to recap if done after crouching

light, jumping special air dash light light beats attacks but loses to reflect,

if the same followup is done after crouching medium special it'll beat

reflect and attacks if your timing is tight but your opponent can escape easily.

the other followup is to simply use a crouching light after your crouching

medium, and that'll open up the door to the previous options. so these

are your primary strings, with light light medium crouching light being the

best starter and jumping special air dash light light being the best ender.

but considering how fast the flow of the match is... you don't always need something

to be airtight to be effective. I mean how many times do you see competitive

players get hit by dragon rushes? dragon rushes can be jumped, back dashed, interrupted,

escaped even if successfully impacted, and they

even have a big green pulse when activated to warn your opponent. so why

does it work? well when your opponent isn't expecting it the likeliness of

your opponent reacting correctly goes down the toilet. so...

let's look at some crazy stuff no one is going to expect. you'll notice that the two

new starters are pretty much the same except it ends with the crouching heavy.

you already know that there's a gap between standing medium and crouching light,

but there's no gap between crouching light and crouching heavy... however

there's a tiny gap between crouching medium and crouching heavy so if they

try to jump or attack they're going to get hit.

both of these starters have gaps they're just in different places. now let's take

a look at the next followup options. at the top you have your air ki blast

which will keep your opponent in place, but it can be interrupted with the super dash.

if you're concerned with the super dash you can opt for dashing light

after the crouching heavy for the crossup which happens to punish a super dash.

just make sure to hit them deep with that light or else you're not

gonna be able to combo in time in the event of a successful crossup.

after your air ki blast you have enough advantage to the point where they

can't interrupt or avoid your falling light which can be canceled into

special for a familiar ender... kind of. there's a tiny reflect point between

light and special and there's no natural way to punish this aside from manually

breaking your flow, so your best bet here is to come down with the light, then land

and reset them... probably with the dragon rush. keep in mind even though you have

the frame advantage on your opponent they can plow through your falling light

with a crouching heavy so the counter play to that is to vanish as soon as

your ki blast impacts and use special cancelled into another ki blast to keep

them in place. and the final option is to slightly delay your special after

vanishing then dashing forward for the crossup with medium. by slightly

delaying this special it will punish reflects and allow you to cancel into your

air dash for the crossup which completely jails.

if you don't delay the special you're going to be too low and won't be able to

air dash, so just delay it a little bit. so if you don't delay special after your

vanish it'll beat attacks but can be reflected, and if you slightly delay the

special you'll get caught by super dashes however you'll punish reflects.

this is why Vegito needs spark when running solo... he can actually mixup your

opponent and have self-sustaining level3 combos and dirty corner and mixups

that lead to death. feel free to experiment around there are

other followups you can use but these are just the most practical ones I found.

but be advised that none of this is easy to do; Vegito is the most difficult

character that I've done a guide for so far. while I wouldn't consider him top 3

he's definitely not low tier. >_<

Belém survived the big earthquake of 1755.

Because of that, great buildings

from Lisbon's pre-earthquake glory days,

Back then, this tower protected Lisbon's harbor.

Today, it symbolizes the voyages that made Portugal

so powerful five centuries ago.

This was the last sight sailors saw as they headed out

into the unknown and the first they saw

when they returned, bearing gold and spices.

The nearby Monument to the Discoveries,

built in 1960

on the 500th anniversary of Henry the Navigator's death,

is shaped like the ship that made it all possible --

the caravel.

It celebrates how exploring the world was a team effort.

Leading the charge is Prince Henry the Navigator,

followed by kneeling knights and soldiers

who Christianized foreign lands with the sword.

Vasco da Gama stands tall, eyes on the horizon

and hand on his weapon.

Magellan holds a circle representing the earth

Across the way is a naval museum,

which shows how this little country

once built a mighty empire.

Exhibits show the technology

that Portugal used to become a leader

in exploration and trade in the 15th and 16th centuries.

The caravel, the ultimate ship for exploring and trading,

was Portugal's secret to success.

It was fast, small, and light,

with sails that could pivot quickly.

Nimble and able to sail into the wind,

it was ideal for sailing along coastlines.

The Portuguese became experts at navigating by the stars.

With ingenious tools like these,

they could now sail away from the coast.

Equipped with this technology and his caravel,

Vasco da Gama sailed around Africa to India.

♪♪

Portugal's mastery of the sea had a huge impact.

Throughout the Middle Ages,

Italy dominated European trade with the East,

but within 10 years of Vasco da Gama's voyage

around Africa to India,

Italy's trade plummeted,

and the seafaring nations on the Atlantic coast --

England, Holland, Spain, and Portugal --

emerged as Europe's economic powerhouses.

BUILD A NANO AQUASCAPE - STARTING GUIDE FOR BEGINNERS - Duration: 17:12.

Welcome to the beautiful world of aquascaping,

to the Green Aqua Gallery!

I brought you some flowers.

Lovely isn't it?

I don't want to talk about flowers today,

I want to talk about this Nano Aquarium.

(Cinematic music)

Nano is a very popular subject among aquascapers,

because you can start with this, on a low budget.

You don't need many plants, you don't need a lot of soil.

You don't need a lot of hardscape.

You can build a beautiful tank

on a low budget.

On a relatively low budget.

This is a very good opportunity for you to see

weather aquariums, or the aquascaping hobby is good for you.

You can try your skills in building a beautiful little tank.

We're gonna help you with that today.

What I have here right next to me is an ADA Nature Aquarium Cube Garden.

Let me open it for you. You need scissors for that.

I'm gonna cut the straps.

I'm gonna take the cover off.

There you go.

I'm gonna throw everything out.

Take the aquarium...

Hold it with one hand...

Don't do this at home!

This is a beautiful

4 mm glass thickness opti white ADA aquarium.

20 liters in total.

It has a spotless look.

The exact measurement are 36x22x26 cm.

Alright.

Let's start with me putting the gloves on.

Many of you guys asked weather I need gloves

for making an aquarium.

No, you don't really need those.

I just like to protect my hands so...

This is why I'm gonna put this on.

Beautiful gloves from Black Magic.

We got it from a friend of ours, Jurijs.

Thank you so much.

It's a Moscotton brand and we really like it.

Let's start with building the hardscape

or let's start with putting in the soil.

I'm gonna use three types of soils now.

You have the ADA Aqua Soil Amazonia.

Which will go to the bottom.

We are not using Power Sand special

or Power Sand at all in this aquarium

because we're just gonna have a couple of foreground plants.

Maybe we will use root sticks.

In order to provide some more nutrients.

We hope that in this small nano aquarium

the ADA Aqua Soil Amazonia

and the ADA fertilizers that we're gonna provide...

We're gonna use the ADA Mineral,

and we're gonna use the ADA Brighty K

to fertilize the plants.

The plants will get enough ferts from those.

And the soil itself.

So it's going to be fine, we're not going to use

any base layer fertilizing substrate in this tank.

On the top of the ADA Amazonia

we're gonna use the ADA Aqua Soil Amazonia Powder.

Which is a smaller grain-size ADA Soil.

It's much easier to plant in the substrate

when it has a smaller grain-size.

Especially with plants that have smaller roots.

It's much easier to push the roots in.

But you will see that in a moment.

As decoration we are going to use the ADA Colorado Sand.

You have it here.

It's a beautiful reddish sand.

It will help accentuate the brownish

and reddish color of the wood that I'm planning to use.

This is the Iron Wood.

That I have here prepared.

I also have the Dragon Stones here.

Just small pieces of it.

We don't need a lot of hardscape for a nano tank.

Let's start with the ADA Aqua Soil Amazonia.

I'm gonna put a little bit of this in the back.

I'm gonna use some more from a 3 liter bag.

I'm just gonna pour it in.

Only in the back.

Nowhere else at this moment.

I'm just gonna stop here now.

I'm gonna come back

with the Amazonia later.

Let's see what we're doing.

I'm going to arrange it a little bit.

I'm gonna put some rocks in the front.

I'm going to put the Dragon Stones

between the foreground sand and the Amazonia here.

To have a nice boundary between those two.

Alright.

Let's find a suitable

rock in the foreground.

What I'm looking for here at this point

is that the rock should lean against the side-glass

as smoothly as possible.

It should stop the Amazonia from coming to the foreground.

That's pretty fine there.

I'm gonna use additional rocks

smaller ones

to continue that line.

that I wanna make here.

Then I'm going to pour in sand.

Cosmetic sand.

In the foreground.

Usually you don't need a lot.

One cup of it was enough.

Make sure you use a sand-flattener.

Flatten the sand

here

You don't need a lot of sand in the foreground.

You can just make it nice and even.

You can increase the height

as you go towards the back of the aquarium.

Let's use the wider side of the sand-flattener

to make it even more nice and even.

Is it flat enough?

Maybe yes, so let's leave it like that

and let's use the Amazonia to the back.

Fill it up.

I'm just pouring it to the back like that.

Arranging it with my hands.

You have a nice layout that will start

from the right side and go towards the left side.

Let's see what we're gonna do with the wood.

The wood is prepared.

It's ready.

This is the hardscape.

Iron wood glued together.

I used some coconut fibre to hide the glue

that was used to get these pieces of wood together.

I want to show you guys how I made this.

I brought you different pieces

of wood.

I'm gonna show it how I select it.

First I have a main wood here.

I'm using another wood right next to it

to continue the line like this.

Right now this is good.

You need to glue these together.

You can use the coconut fibre to have the Seachem glue

that I was using to keep these pieces together...

You can hide it with that.

I hope you like the hardscape.

I'm going to put it in the tank now.

For that I will really need to go to the other side.

I'm going to check it out from the other side

to see how it goes.

I'm very happy with the hardscape at this moment.

I just need to find a good angle for it.

Okey, so I'm happy with the wood arrangement.

We're gonna fill in some more Amazonia.

To the back.

Then arrange it nicely.

You need at least 3 or 4 cm of Amazonia.

In order to be able to plant in it.

I'm gonna use the sand flattener again.

To bring in the soil that put in the back.

To the front.

And arrange it in the front as well.

Be careful not to spill

any soil on the sand.

Alright. Ready.

So what we're gonna do now,

we're gonna use the Amazonia Powder

to put it on the top

of the regular Amazonia.

Let's pour some in the front as well.

Alright so we're done.

In order to be able to plant you need to wet the soil.

Plant roots will stick to the soil much easier

if it's wet a little bit.

But before we do that

I need to introduce some more rocks.

To add some detail.

The more detail you have in a tank the better.

It will increase the scale of your tank.

It will add to the overall look.

I'm using small pieces in the foreground.

I'm using bigger pieces in the background.

How do you like it so far?

Are you happy with this?

Let me ask Viktor.

Okey, so Viktor is telling me

that this is the words hardscape by a pro again.

It looks like I need a t-shirt.

Can you guys send me a t-shirt?

"The worst hardscape by a pro ever"

Thanks!

It looks like I'm lacking some hardscape elements

in the foreground on the right side.

What I have to do is to build some more

in the foreground

to have an elevation here.

That would add a little bit to the beauty of the whole thing.

Too big.

Too small.

Perfect.

And we're ready.

So I think the hardscape is ready guys.

Let's go with the planting.

We are going to use 5 types of plants.

The first plant that I'm gonna be using today

is the mini Bolbitis.

The official name is Bolbitis Heteroclita Difformis.

It's a small fern.

Which doesn't grow big.

I really like to use it in nano aquariums.

It doesn't cover completely the wood.

I use 6 pots of them.

I put them here-and-there.

Support it with some little rocks in the background.

So that they don't float up.

The second plant that I want to use is the Echinodorus Vesuvius.

This is a nice Echinodorus type

that will not grow too big but the leaves are long enough

and the general idea for me using this plant

was that I wanted to use another fern type...

Like the narrow-leaf Microsorum.

But we don't have a small narrow-leaf Microsorum

on the market yet.

So I'm going to use this instead of the Microsorum in this tank.

I'm going to use this in the background,

because I don't want it to cover

the complete

hardscape.

I don't want it to cover the fern - as well.

Let's go with the third plant.

This is the Bucephalandra Lamandau 'Mini Red'.

This is a nice Bucephalandra type.

It has reddish color.

It will accentuate the greens of the other plants

that we were using so far.

I'm gonna take it in two parts.

I'm gonna put it

to have some patches of red

here-and-there.

I have the Elatine Hydropiper here.

It's a small lab plant in jelly.

That is a nice foreground plant.

You can just take it out of the jelly

wash the jelly off

and then use some great

pinsettes (tweezers)

I'm gonna use the small pinsettes here...

Just take small chunks of it.

Then plant it at the left side of the aquarium.

I forgot that I need to wet the soil first.

We're gonna use this

thing

to add a little bit of water to the soil.

Also, I want to keep the plants

that I was using so far

from being dried out.

Okey, let's clean the foreground.

A little bit.

For you guys to see what am I actually doing in the aquarium.

Then I keep on planting the Elatine.

To the foreground here, on the left side.

Make sure that you are not big chunks of it.

Because it's really difficult to put down.

I just checked it from the front and I see

that we need need to go all the way to the back.

On the left side of the aquarium.

I think we need to raise the substrate a little bit more

on the right side,

because I want the Elatine to be visible on the right side as well.

Don't be afraid to plant as densely as possible.

The more plants you have in your aquarium

the more stabile the ecosystem will be in the long run.

The less prone you're gonna be to algae.

Having a good filter is always helping

but you need to help the system

with introducing as many plants as possible.

This Elatine is a nice plant.

The only trick to keeping it alive

is to have a nice cool water.

So don't try this at home if your room

has a higher temperature.

And you need a lot of CO2.

This Rotala 'Red Mini' is a nice plant

that will not grow high.

This means that I can use it in a nano tank.

I'm gonna plant it in the background.

You're not gonna see it at this moment.

But after a couple of weeks they will grow up

and the tops will show behind these plants.

Here. So you will have a nice red finish in the backgound.

Okey, you can see now

where I plant the Rotalas.

In the background.

Only in the center.

Not on the sides.

Okey guys, we are ready with the planting.

You might want to add some more patches

just one or two patches of something else.

Into the Elatine to have some detail in it later.

after they're grown together.

It's up to you to decide.

To improve the tank a little bit.

Having a nano tank is nice thing because you can always

Tweek it a little bit.

I want to show you the light guys.

I'm really excited because we have this

nano tank light here with us.

ONF light, you guys tell me what does it stand for.

ONF. One Night F....?

(laugs)

Alright, I don't know.

Viktor told me not to joke about this.

But I just have to joke all the time, you know me.

It's the best light from Taiwan at this moment.

It's the Rose Gold color.

You can see it now.

It has many features that are really absolutely needed.

For a nano tank. One of these features

is the adjustability.

You can adjust the height.

You can adjust the depth.

You can adjust the strength of the light.

Finally guys, finally! It's one of the lights that is strong enough

to have a proper Nature Aquarium in a nano tank.

We didn't have that before in the LED section.

We're really happy to have this light here with us.

The Rose Gold... Flat one.

Is here in Green Aqua!

I'm gonna screw on the bottom part.

I have not used this before but at the Green Aqua

Gallery we've been testing one of these guys

for months now.

Like that.

I don't really like the fact that this one is in the front.

So I'm just gonna move it to the other side.

It's gonna look much better there.

A really good thing about it is that you can adjust

the height - there's a little rubber-ring here

which you can just move down a little bit.

If you move it down then the light will stand higher

If you move it up...

Then the light will stand lower.

Okey guys, the aquarium is ready.

The light is ready, let's switch it on.

There's a switch on the bottom of it.

If you keep pushing it

the light will turn on.

Wonderful-wonderful strength!

I really love it.

All we have to do now is fill it up with water.

Have the filtration plugged in.

To have the filter hoses, to have the CO2 system.

You have a lot of nice glass things from ADA.

Here. Specially made for nano tanks.

This is the outflow.

This is the bubble counter.

That will go with a hose to the diffuser.

We will probably put the diffuser on the opposite side.

From the outflow.

So the water will be pushed down here,

and it will work against the bubbles that are coming out

from the diffuser.

Okey, so this is it.

Let us know what you think guys.

I hope you really like this aquarium.

And you are not gonna say

that this is the ugliest aquarium made by a pro - again.

Let's see how it looks like when it's filled up.

Red Dead Redemption 2: FAST TRAVEL Tutorial/Guide (RDR2) - Duration: 2:41.

[Intro] Hey guys, it's TCousteau from FantasticalGamer,

and welcome back to the channel!

Fast traveling is one of the most controversial topics in Open-World Games today.

While the proponents state that it saves hours of walking which detract from the action and

turn the game into a boring walking simulator, the opponents say that fast travel ruins the

immersion because it essentially allows a player to warp to different locations which

are both unrealistic as well as unfair to the developers who spent countless hours designing

an intricate world full of side-quest and puzzles that fast-travelers won't be able

to see.

Skyrim is one such example.

With that said, fortunately, or unfortunately, Read dead redemption 2 also features the ability

to quickly move to locations without having to ride or walk for hours on horse-back or

on foot.

It's a little tricky to unlock so today we'll be showing you how to unlock and use

the fast travel system in RDR2.

[Body] To start off you need to know that there are

not 1 but 3 ways for you to fast travel.

Keep in mind that 2 of these methods are paid, as in you need to pay money to travel, while

the last one is free.

The first method of traveling is the train.

To do this you need to walk into a post office and go to the counter.

Over there you'll see a rate list of the cost to go to the other towns, the fare depends

on the distance, obviously.

From there you just need to select where you want to go to and if you have enough money,

the screen should fade for a moment and you'll be greeted with a gorgeous cutscene of a train

heading out and arriving.

The next method doesn't stray too far from the post-office.

For this method, you need to make your way towards a stagecoach which is right outside

the post-office.

When you reach there you'll need to interact with it which opens up a menu and shows you

the rates, they aren't really that different from the train service.

So you just pick where you wanna go and ride the coach.

The last option is the free one.

Well, it's not entirely free, in order to unlock this mode of fast travel you'll need

to upgrade your camp.

Upgrade lodgings and you'll unlock the ability to upgrade Arthur's tent.

When you do this, you'll be able to fast travel.

To do this you go to the world map behind Arthur's tent and select a location.

You need to have already visited that location before to be able to fast travel to it.

[Outro] And well that about does it for our guide

on how to fast-travel in RDR2.

But we want to hear from you, what do you think of fast travel?

If you love it, why?

If you hate it, why?

We'll be really interested to know your feelings on this matter.

Until then, that's all from me.

See Ya!

What's the Best Christmas Present? Let TUSHY's ChristmASS-hole be your Guide [Explicit] - Duration: 1:42.

I'm an asshole but like literally I drop some pretty hefty Yule logs and I don't

want to be a Scrooge this holiday season but I'm dirty and when I'm dirty I go

from the nice list to the naughty list really fast while you're spreading

tidings of comfort and joy up there I'm down here smothered in last night's

figgy pudding because you chose to wipe your jolly old taint Nick with toilet

paper instead of using TUSHY. TUSHY is the modern bidet attachment that will

bring joy to your world after every poop

Smells like gingerbread cookies and wishes. Just kidding it smells like shit.

TUSHY will deck your booty halls with a precise and refreshing stream of

water to wash away any excess pinecones from your bowels of Holly and it's so

easy to install you can hook it up in less than 10 minutes. Take THAT Santa's

little helpers and because every wash feels like ...That, you'll never go back to

using plain old TP. Don't be a little bummer boy this holiday season give the

gift of TUSHY trust me I'm a... hey what's this?! TUSHY bless

us, everyone

Gun Mechanics: Overlooked Controls & Tactics - Red Dead Redemption 2 - Gun Guide - Duration: 4:46.

Hello ladies and gentlemen, my name is Andrew and welcome to a gun guide for Red Dead Redemption 2. In this guide

I'm gonna be quickly showing you some of the gun mechanics. In most shooter games

the mechanics are generally the same. You pretty much just aim and

Pull the trigger to shoot. It's not all that different in Red Dead Redemption 2, but there are some minor differences. Now

I'm going to assume that you know

The basic controls. What we're going to do is quickly look at the overlooked controls and tactics

Now first thing you want to note is that tapping R2 will actually un-holster your weapon

Faster than using L1

If your unarmed, it will automatically select your sidearm by default

This tactic is also pretty useful if you want to shoot and fire behind you right away

With the gun un-holstered pressing lightly on R2 will actually allow you to aim from the hip

not entirely too useful, but it works if you want to try and maybe aim a little bit better and

Feather the hammer. Now with the gun holstered lightly pressing on R2 will actually initiate a draw

Anywhere, literally anywhere that will allow you to use a gun

This is pretty handy if you want to go straight into Dead eye without having to

Worry about being killed by whoever's trying to attack you in situations where you're being ambushed or situations where you're being held up

Now while aiming your gun pressing the camera button will instantly switch between first-person and third-person

Pressing left on the d-pad will switch shoulders

pressing up on the d-pad allows you to fire a warning shot in the air and

Pressing Square will allow you to dodge

It also allows you to get dirty

If you're using a scoped weapon

While aiming pressing down on the d-pad will actually allow you to scope in. If you're using a non scoped weapon

While you're in first-person mode

pressing down on the d-pad

Allows you to use the iron sight. Pressing R3 while you're in first-person mode without aiming allows you to do an instant

360°. While you're in third-person mode and you have your primary side arm equipped double tapping L1 will

Pull off a little trick that you can do to holster it. Now for the sake of this video

We're going to assume that there are only two important firing mechanisms

You might notice in some situations where you're hiding behind cover. There's bullets flying everywhere

It's absolute chaos

*Sombre & dark music starts playing*

*Gunfire, gunfire everywhere*

*Lady starts humming or some shit*

It's like every single enemy is just firing

directly at you despite the fact that there might be other people to shoot at. You go to fire a shot and

that works perfectly fine, but then you go to pull the trigger a second time and

No bullet comes out now. You're kind of a sitting duck. The first couple of times this happened to me

I actually thought that it was a bug or a glitch but this is because there are manual hammers and

Automatic hammers. What that means is you press the right trigger to fire once

Again to cock the hammer and then again to fire

This method is probably safer against things that don't shoot back like these trees a safer tactic is to aim

Fire go back into cover then aim again

the reason why is because Arthur will

Automatically cock the hammer when you go to aim. With an automatic hammer, like the double action revolver here. You can fire at your heart's content

One thing to note is that guns that use a manual

mechanism are usually more accurate than guns that don't. Also don't be quick to judge a

Firearm too early because the more you use a gun the more Arthur improves with that weapon

That's him firing with a cattle man revolver after probably

About 20 hours or more using that particular gun, and that's it. That's all you really need to know

Now you can go and use what you have learnt to shoot some dangerous trees like this one here

Look at him. Look at him sneaking up behind me. I can see him

You see him looking at me. You see him see him. We're gonna get him we're gonna oh,

You see that he didn't see that coming

Yeah

that's one tree that

Went ahead and made my day. If you enjoyed the video leave a comment down below, I'd really appreciate that
