and today we're going to be looking at a product called convertkit now this is

the marketing tool that I use right now this is the tool that I'm leaving Aweber

for I've tried a lot of them out there from Aweber to get response to sin lane..

I've had them all and I still do own sin lane however I want to drop a weber and

get response for convertkit now I've never had eye contact because they don't

really particularly care for the affiliate business model so right now

I'm actually going to be signing up and the prices are relatively inexpensive I

mean is it's extremely affordable the reason the main reason why I'm picking

it up though is because this drop dead simple for the new person that's getting

started but it's extremely for sophisticated for the individual who

want to take a deep dive look into their analytics so I highly recommend you come

over here take a look at this video right here to complete walkthrough it's

about five minutes at the time of this recording so I'm going to just click on

pricing just to give you an idea so you can see 3000 subscribers is 50 bucks now

the cool thing about it is what I like to tell my startup is that when you're

first starting a business you want to start out at the very lowest amount of

the reason why it's because if you don't have a thousand subscribers if you don't

have a hundred subscribers then there's no need to pay extra money so what you

do is you start out in two thousand subscribers and a thousand subscribers

you'll be making a minimum of $29 per month on your email list so you

definitely want to start out small because your boo scrapping it and you

want to allow your business to grow over time so it goes from a thousand all the

way up to 900 thousand subscribers and then nine hundred thousand subscribers

it's only four thousand dollars a month now a king and nine thousand and nine

hundred thousand subscribers your audience is huge and you should be

making a lot more than just three thousand rather four thousand dollars a

month from them so that's how you want to look at

so your goal is to come over here check it out and I'm going to actually set up

an account right now right before your eyes to show you the hands and outs of

what you have what you can expect from it now I'm going to simply pick up a

quick password and of course it brought in my information I already have my card

it makes it jump down so what I could do actually is really simple without

getting too deep into the code I could do this if I wanted that to be a line

break right there I could put in BR and then right in front of it I put a slash

and click space and that's going to do the effect that I wanted to do which is

look like that however I don't want to sit here and do that throughout this

entire video however honestly that's what I would do like I would come up in

here and I would play around with it a little bit now obviously if it's not a

big deal to you thing you don't have to do it but it's a big deal to me so I

would do it and I would just like BR and I would bring it up and then I would

delete that because that too is a part of the same sentence so I could space

that I could say BR and then after that I could take out all that extra stuff as

well and I could possibly break that again just by saying BR and brackets

then I can go back and you can see that's how it would look so instead of

it being super spaced out it would look like that now obviously some people like

it's based on like this is easier to read it goes to a personal preference

like you don't have to do that so really quickly what I want

to do because I'm not prepared to print this or send it I'm just gonna actually

say draft and then after that I can say preview email and this shows me how the

email is gonna look when it's sent out so it gives my address it gives the

unsubscribe link and it says click here to watch so if someone clicks here it

takes them exactly to where I wanted to take them to so it's pretty cool but I'm

gonna leave it as a drive for right now and I finish it up I'm just gonna say

save all and I'm actually gonna make this go out on day zero because I want

this to go out immediately after they opt-in and wonder if I can change this

time zone and I can so awesomesauce and I'm going to change it to Pacific well I

could change it to Central I'm gonna change it to Central and send emails

around 11:00 thing yeah so I like this because you can send them out directly

at the same time every time that's awesome so I have no days on which the

email won't go out and then I could do text only simple or Frank not sure where

Framed is right now listen they mean an iframe but I can

update this right quick and it's all set so at this point I can go back over to

content and keep in mind this is my first time ever using this program so I

actually learned about it from one of the other leaders so now this would be

the first one one day after subscriptions obviously I don't want it

to be one day after subscription I want it to be zero days after subscription

so now you can see it says immediately after subscription which you can

actually move it around and you can move that back up and instantly change then

you can come down here and you can change this so basically in essence what

I can do is I can go up in there and I can create a follow-up sequence for each

one of these emails right here that corresponds to the next thing I want to

do or the next post and my follow-up sequence and if you don't know what this

This time, we talk about an unlikely AI advancement--

robots that have tactile feedback.

I'm David Shaw, and in this episode of AI news,

we look at how deep learning is bringing touch to robots.

One aspect of robots that makes them so cool

is that they're a reflection of us.

We are constantly trying to make robots

more and more human-like.

One thing scientists have tried to master

is how to make robots understand their environment.

While many advances have been made

in the realm of computer vision, this

is just one aspect of understanding.

A richer understanding can lead to more advanced systems

with enhanced capabilities.

To advance further, the industry can

benefit from adding robotic touch to the picture.

To put it more scientifically, tactile sensing and haptic

behavior.

So how can we make this possible?

Through deep learning algorithms.

Deep learning creates lots of opportunity for developing

robotics applications, and bringing touch to robots

is becoming a huge industry driver.

Jason Toy, an AI enthusiast, sought

to make more headway in this unfolding technology.

He embarked on a project for training AI systems

to interact with the environment based on haptic input.

The research focuses on adding neural systems

and tactile feedback to robotic systems.

This is meant to expand their mapping of the environment

beyond visual imagery to include contours, textures, shapes,

hardness, and object recognition by touch.

Jason's ongoing project called SenseNet--

3D Objects Database and Tactile Simulator

can be used in a reinforcement learning environment.

He used Intel's reinforcement learning coach

to help accelerate training and testing of reinforcement

learning algorithms.

A Quick Guide to Using TradingView Charting Software - Duration: 8:44.

Hi, Spencer here. One of the questions I've been getting a lot recently is what trading software do I use to do my

analysis and charting

So today I'm gonna do a very quick crash course on this powerful software called TradingView, which is one of the most popular

charting software at the moment. So what what's so good about this software?

Firstly it has all the essential

charting features and it has a lot of useful social functions like private messaging,

being able to follow different traders to see their trading ideas and I think the most useful

feature is that it is web-based

meaning

whatever you draw on your desktop and on your laptop, the same charts will automatically

... the same drawings will be there

when you

When you open your mobile devices when you use the TradingView app

So this is very useful because it is very hard to draw charts on your mobile devices

So it's important that you can sync all the charts

that you draw on your desktop or your laptop

Ok so this, personally I use it for

charting but

I do not use it to execute my trades.

You can if you want to but you have to link it to your brokerage account.

Ok, so I'm just gonna go through very quickly what are the essential functions.

So we start off on the right hand side. This is the watchlist - the watchlist is where you'll be creating

you can tabulate all the

counters which you want to keep track of so if you're using the paid version you can tabulate

multiple watchlists, for example I have one for forex and one for stocks

So if we want to add symbols all you need to do is to type it in here

For example if I search euro dollar these are all the things that come up

I can further narrow it down by searching for

forex which will zoom into only the forex counters so there are a lot of different things that and search for

So there are some of the other functions. These are alerts which you can set.

This is the private chat so occasionally I get people

asking me about my charts and my analysis. These are the ideas, where you can see the traders that you follow and

for the actual charting the most important

The most important part will be the tools on the left hand side, but first I'm going to start at the top

You can see this is the name of the counter - the euro yen. This is the time frame

So currently it is at the daily chart

If I select one hour it goes down to the hourly chart so you can select the different timeframe you want

This allows you to select what type of charting you want, for example I select Heiken Aishi, it

changes the bars into Heiken Aishi, if I select Renko charts, it

changes the the bars, so it is very useful. Most of time I just use candlesticks as the default.

Here you can add in your indicators, there are a lot of built-in indicators that

come with it. If you want, you can search for moving average and you can just add in these indicators

This is the

single-click buy and sell which allows you to execute trades if you have linked your brokerage account.

At the bottom you can see this

1-day, 5-day, 1-month, this actually

tells you how much data is displaying so for example if I click 1-day, it

means that you will only display one day's worth of data

If I click five years this means they will show me up to five years

Up to the current date

So if you want to manipulate the chart you can either

use the roller on your mouse, if you're using mobile devices it's the same as zooming in and zooming out, and

you can drag this; if you want to maximize it just double click the left button.

Now I'm going to move on to the functions on the left-hand side. These are the key

functions which you'll most likely be using

when you're drawing on your charts. This is the cursor and

the eraser if you need to erase anything

The main tools, the trendline or the arrow. If I select arrow, I can draw an arrow over here

and I can choose to change the color of the arrow.

I can change the thickness of the arrow. I can also decide if I want it with dotted lines or

just dots. If you want to change it back just click on it

and you can change it back to the original. When you are done, you can always delete.

It also allows you to draw your support & resistance lines using the horizontal line.

Here this allows you to draw new things like

your Fibonacci retracements, your Pitchfork.

Next, this allows you to draw shapes like rectangles, triangles, your curves.

This allows you to add text, for example you can add the text, you can change the color the font and the size.

This allows you to add more complex stuff.

This is useful, it allows you to actually place your positions,

to keep track of your positions, for example if you want to keep track of a long position

you can click & drag, and you can put the target and the stop loss.

And then it will help you calculate like what is the open P&L, as well as the reward-to-risk ratio.

So the same for short positions. If you just want to measure

the price, for example from here to here, you can see this is a 9% decline,

with

the number of pips

over here as well

This allows you to add symbols.

This allows you to measure, for example if you

just want to measure, it can tell you that this is the

percentage movement, the number of movement in pips, as well as the number of bars and over how many days

Once you click away the measurement is gone.

This allows you to lock all the drawing tools so it's useful if you are going to transit to a mobile device because

sometimes on your mobile devices you might accidentally

move or shift the lines around and disrupt the drawings, so you can lock it down here so that it doesn't move

if you accidentally click on the lines.

Lastly, this

button here allows you to hide all your drawing tools, so if you want to have a clean layout you can just click the hide button

to remove the drawing tools. The last one - this is to delete stuff.

Okay, so I've covered all the essential functions of

the TradingView charting software.

So the best thing for you to do if you want to really get the hang of it is to just simply go

and use it. It is free to use, they have a paid version as well but the free version

is good enough if you're not going to use it professionally.

So just play around, create your watchlists, try out the different tools, and pretty soon you'll be getting the hang of

how to use the software.

Dentistry is very much a business now no matter how much you try and resist it

or feel that your heart still lies in it being a caring profession obviously

it still is a caring profession but there is a massive business element to dentistry these days.

There's also a lot more competition now but between

dentists and what dental practices can offer it's not just dentistry now

there's much more aesthetic coming into dentistry.

It literally changes people's lives coming not just here but to any dentists

being treated how they like to be treated and leaving with a smile they're be proud of

I come every three months the hygiene is because I choose to because I

do whiten my teeth which is something Mike's introduced me to taken me through

all of the steps of what I should do with that at home.

We coverted from another software company about two years ago now and it was a very very seamless

process software of excellence us helped us immensely when we were doing that conversion.

The move over from R4 to SOE was so was so much smoother than I would have ever thought.

I think one of the things I particularly liked about it

was people would introduce themselves they

would say for example I am mr. X and I am gonna be looking after you in this

environment I am mrs. B and I'm going to be in charge of this so we always had a

point of contact for whatever error it was that we had concerns with whether it

comes from sales or support or training we knew exactly who we needed to go to.

That is the best thing about SOE in my opinion I think there's never a

time where I have called them and I've not helped me all been able to answer my question.

We'd heard about them previously we've been in dentistry a

long time so we were aware of them we did some research we looked at what they

had on offer we were saying we I particularly liked

the fact that it was more than what we were used to there was so much more to

it there was it was gonna be this add on, you can be involved

in this you can be involved in that and for me it just seemed the whole thing, the real deal.

Because it's a lot more in-depth than R4 this so much more you need

to know then R4 is just like what you're doing and that's it there's

nothing behind the things whereas SOE there's so much more to every little thing that you do.

It is such an immense program and

all the tools that you actually require in practice are there.

In terms of the paper work and stuff behind the scenes for example I do radiography here and

there's an audit you can do straight off of SOE that makes my life so much easier

it takes away like hours of work for me.

I can only really speak about the management side of it but for me it's a it's something it's an integral tool to

my day you know it makes my life so much easier running the audits running

looking at contacts and everything from my point of view that's great.

It would be making sure that I find their contact consent making sure that their next

appointments made for six months time and for anything in between making sure

any money is taken and their accounts all settled making sure their recalls are correct.

So we do use the reminder process it tells you that your next

appointment your next checkups do or you haven't got a hygienist booked in you need to do it that kind of thing

That recall system actually is working

whether it be through the internet emails whether it be through text

messages or whether it be through post. countdown process we know it's several

Countdown process we know it's serveral weeks to your next appointment I think it's probably fortnight before

I'm not really sure but just to bring to your attention you have this appointment on

that day please call us if it's no longer appropriate and then you get

another one just before the appointment two days before I believe that comes

through just to say hey you're in with us.

I really do like SOE, I really like the way the appointments laid out and now we've taken us a long time to

all be in agreement to how we do certain things but now we're all in agreement to

how we do things, I wouldn't be without it.

It's an entirely different animal I don't think it can be compared to any other software

dental software around at the moment and I know for a fact as a practice

manager it would make my life so much more difficult if I didn't have the aid of Software of Excellence

I personally couldn't think of a better software and

and I've been doing dentistry for quite a long time now and all the different

types of software that about used Software of Excellence is right out

there a straight ahead of anything else that I've actually used and I would

recommend it to anybody
