Does pickleball need to change to rally scoring?

Not sure what it is or perhaps you've never tried it today.

We'll explain just how to do it.

Stay tuned.

Hey everybody.

It's CJ Johnson.

If you're new here, you're going to find all things pickleball from how to pick the best

gear, to instruction and drills to help you to become a better player, and the fitness

that you need as a player over 50 to stay healthy and out on the courts.

If you'd like to stay in the know, make sure you hit the subscribe and then the bell.

That way every Saturday you'll get a notification.

When I post a new video.

With the explosion in the growth of pickleball, there's been a lot of discussion about making

a change from the traditional way we score to rally scoring.

It would probably be easier for new players to understand.

The courts would be less crowded because games could be faster and pickleball would be more

marketable for television.

There are a lot of clubs already using rally scoring to alleviate crowded courts.

If you're one of those clubs, put it down in the comments below and tell us what you

think about rally scoring.

Pickleball scoring was originally based on badminton scoring and frankly badminton changed

a few years back.

Chris Allen from the pickleball show recently hosted a podcast where they talked about rally

scoring in depth.

He made an awesome point by saying, if you've never experienced it, chances are you should

do it before you weigh in on it.

If you don't already subscribe to Chris's podcast, go to the show notes below and you'll

find a link.

There are a couple of basics that you need to know about rally scoring.

First of all, each rally is worth a point.

Forget server one and server two.

Each side is only going to get one serve but throughout the game each person will have

the chance to serve.

It's important to remember that the right side of the court is the even side and the

left side of the court is the odd side.

The serving teams score determines the side of the court from which the serve will be

played.

When the serving team has an even score, the serve will be made from the right or the even

side of the court.

When the serving team has an odd score, the serve will be made from the left or the odd

side of the court.

A game begins at 0-0 with one team serving from the even or the right side of the court.

The serving team wins the point.

This is the only time that players will alternate sides.

They change sides and the server keeps serving.

The score is 1-0.

The opponents win a rally, which means they get a point and they get the next serve.

The score is now 1-1.

The person who is standing on the odd side of the court will be the server for the next

point.

The serving team wins a point, which means they will switch sides and that person will

keep serving.

The score is now 2-1.

One, you'll notice that the person is serving from the even side of the court.

The opponents win the rally, which means they get the point and they will get the next serve.

The score is now 2-2.

The person who is standing in the even side of the court will be the new server.

A couple of points to keep in mind.

Players do not alternate sides of the court unless they are the serving team and they

have won a point.

Because the games are a little faster, they're typically played to either 15 or 21 win by

1 or win by 2.

I know from previous videos that scoring can be confusing, so if you're still not sure

how to do rally scoring, make sure that you click on the link that's coming up above.

It's going to take you to a blog post that goes into greater detail.

As Chris mentioned in his podcast, it's important to give this a try.

Since a point is available during every rally, it's going to change some strategies.

Are you going to go after that big, maybe not so reliable serve If you know that the

other team is going to score a point from it?

If you've experienced rally scoring, let everybody know in the comments below and tell us what

strategies you found most valuable to change.

Speaking of strategies, if you'd like more tips on how to play better pickleball, make

sure that you click on the videos over here.

If you got value from this video, please give it a like down below or share it with your

RED DEAD REDEMPTION 2 : 100% challenges - 10 master hunter challenges - Duration: 12:22.

Hello everyone we find ourselves for a new video

on red dead redemption two

today we are attacking all challenges of big hunters there are ten

as usual, some are very simple others much harder we see all that

together the first one that asks you to cut up 3 deer or deer

clearly the easiest challenge of the game the doe find you everywhere I

you put a green zone but in all woods and meadows

you can find some you have surely already seen hundreds

you may have done this already challenge without doing it purposefully in the game in

killing three doe and laying them down you can kill them with any

what weapon no matter the state of the carcass even in bad condition it matters

so no problem for this

first challenge the second one that you

request to recover three skins from rabbits in perfect condition, you already know

how to do it if you have followed by others of my video rabbits

are more or less in the same area, a lot around the railways

but the first thing to do is to equip you to obtain

skin in perfect it takes a good weapon

the best being the small game rifle

if you do not have it yet buy it costs 72 dollars

take the ammunition that goes with you can also do it at the bow but

the rifle is perfectly adapted and we do not forget to equip ourselves

with after it will have to find a rabbit or a hare but be careful with three

stars you find a lot of rabbits but the three stars are a little bit

rarer but it will have to find and kill them if possible in a vital point

to keep the three stars

there is a lot around the railways

you will eventually find rabbits in 3 stars and you can kill them from the

good way and recover 3 skins it can take a

little time to find 3 rabbits in in a perfect state

Good luck to you then third challenge follow the track

of 10 different animals using your

binoculars I insist on animals and not breeds because you have to

different types of animals by example here I have a fox, the

technique is to zoom in on study it with the binoculars if he

move you have to follow it you study it with r1 on playstation and then he

have to track it and that's it's done you do not need to follow

the track nor kill it just just track it and so that's

many types of animals that is, if you did the

fox like here all the other kinds of fox that will not count there are

foxes, simple foxes, foxes of another kind

it will not work, here the hinds

here I'm going to find a horse that counts

but only one race as for other animals

a little further I had a deer

zoom in on it for to be able to study and track it

and move around the map to meet a lot of species

different there I am in the same area where I had

found does and rabbits

here an antelope, the birds do not count not you can not track them

birds

always in the same area of the turkeys wild

then there I go away is a little bit more in the mountains and I'm going

find a chipmunk if you ever have trouble finding cash

do not hesitate to go see my others videos especially for animals from

Miss Hobbs you will have a lot location for lots of animals

different, for the chipmunk you saw that he had moved a

little bit that I had to get closer here an elk it's going to be just before

that he passes on the other side of the mountain but it worked anyway

then I found a bear there I I'm down to West Elisabeth

I did not go up to Austin I managed to find ten

front animals

there I am downright in the mountains to find them

sheep

and I will find wolves then wolves that's

a bit complicated because you have to kill the whole pack and leave one and

general the last part and do not attack yourself and you

so can then with the binoculars watch him and track him

and you will have made all the animals

next challenge next kill five animals properly after calling them for

to call them is very simple to arrive discreetly it is not necessary

that they are fleeing and you can aimed at

call, just call them and kill directly cleanly so for

to kill properly you have to aim your head or the heart is more practical in

the head and it's as simple as that do not let the animals go

so arrive discreetly get close enough call him and

shoot in the head

I call it, I activate my blood cold because in general the head is

reports I aim at the head I put a cross on the

head so I do not worry about

do five, next challenges skin three black bears or grizzly bear

it may take a little while because they are quite rare here

three areas that you have in West Elisabeth you also find one

a little bit further down here to Blackwater

you will globally fall on it by chance I tried a lot of times

with predator lures I'm not never got to bring one so

I from you walk around the different areas that

I posted you on the map and you eventually find one in general they

do not attack you except big bears but the little black bears

like this no, you will end up in

find 3 in different areas that I showed you it's not necessarily

obvious it can take a lot of time

here I came across it by chance in the forest

good courage to you to find three

next challenge kill five cougar with your bow and dismember them, so unlike this

that we could believe to kill with bow this is not difficult

the cougars with an arrow in the head is finished, on the other hand it is to find who

is a little rarer there are some in Austin

there are also some on the left of West Elisabeth use your blood well

cold because a cougar attack that do not forgive they will steal you at the

throat and kills you the first time then you can free yourself by pressing

the right touch at the right time but it's tense so use your blood well

cold stretch your arrow to the maximum and aim

well in the head with a cross on the head like that the arrow is automatic

then he

just skinning it the hard part being to find them the cougars are

Rare animals I have them all found in the Austin area but

you can climb a little bit more up if ever and end up finding some

Good luck to you

next challenge use a bait to attract a

predator and a herbivore thereafter it's a little bit hazy

stated but basically you have to use a predator bait kill a predator and

do the same with a herbivore bait and a herbivore

it's very simple just go buy at the store at least one of

each if you think you'll succeed from

first shot because sometimes animals do not come or so

wait a very long time me it's going to be the case here I'm going to put

predator bait l

I will do it with a wild boar it counts as a

predator I waited long enough

do not wait 10 minutes either

but easily a

minute or two minutes the time that the animals arrive

I managed to kill my boar

then I am just go a little bit further and I

am going to ask but bait to herbivore and the same I

long enough herbivore arrives

it seems to me that it was a doe simply

no problem for this challenge

next challenge that asks you

to catch three little fish without using the cane

fishing several methods so already go to any point

of water I did it here but you can do it in any

lake, spot the little bubbles that are here by the shore use your

cold blood and you simply have to shoot the fish and you'll be able to

pick up the other technique I was told in the

comments it's dynamite apparently fishing for dynamite it works

alright so you can try fishing with dynamite that will do

ride the fishes provided they are close enough to the edge and that

it's small fish but otherwise it's not difficult to spot the

bubbles and you just shoot the fish and you go get it

make several water points of the times there are no small fish

challenge number 9 kill an opossum in the process of

to make the dead actually this is the feature of opossums this is

they know how to play dead, three zones to find but be careful you have to

to go at night it's good the night that you will find opossums and I will

really recommend this place because that in all the videos where I got

need to look for an opossums I have found one there at the edge of the trees so

to be well in the same place and at night

look at the edge of the trees you will end to find an opossum do not shoot

on it wait, do not step on it no more

but turn a little bit around and wait until he does not move anymore

and there now shoot it and you'll end up killing it

it's as simple as that the hardest is to find

opossum then last challenge which is a challenge a little bit special

since he asks you to kill an animal legendary that unlocks only

after doing all the challenges it's a panther

legendary and I will show you his location and like all others

legendary animals go see my video if you want to kill other animals

there are 15 in addition to this one

for this panther who is going find here to the right of Braithwaite Manor

all the way down here it is not unlocked until you have

do the nine challenges and give you a rare skin to sell it either

to make unique objects

go in the area and find the indince then it's not always exactly the same

place but when you enter an area

of legendary animal you have just looking for the clues they are in

yellow then just follow them and you will eventually arrive at the panther

so I would like to ask you a question is that I get attacked by

surprise and I would know is it the same for everything

the world or is it just me who does not have

had luck and that it made me attack from behind but seen like that

happened I wonder if that's when not the same for everyone in

anyway just follow the tracks of blood and dead animals

there was a corpse next to it so I I said to myself I'm going to turn around

to fetch the corpse and blow as by chance I get myself

attack by the panther while she was not in front so I think that

it's on purpose tell me if it happened to you

also in any case just the kill with any weapon and

recover the skin to do that you want and you'll be done with

all challenges two great hunters so here I hope I helped you if

this is the case do not hesitate to let go big like

FERRET CARE GUIDE | (2018) - Duration: 3:31.

hey everyone welcome to Carlee's creatures this is my new YouTube channel

in honor of all the pets that I have I just am coming to you giving you care

videos about the types of animals I have and I'm hoping to share some knowledge

with you on how to take care of these animals a lot of animals out there that

people have as pets there are a lot of misconceptions about how to take care of

them and I just want to spread the knowledge that I've learned about how to

take care of these animals so first and foremost ferrets are strict carnivores

so they need a high-protein diet don't feed them any fruits or vegetables I

feed them once a day or more if they run out I have two ferrets their names are

Domino and Sebastian always have clean water available a lot of people say that

ferrets have really bad odors like their poop stinks that their body odor stinks

and stuff and I will say that if you don't take very diligent care of them

they will start to smell like you have to clean out their cage every day you

have to get rid of all that poop and you have to sanitize their cage at least

once a week completely do an overhaul of the cage once a week to keep it smelling

clean so bathing can help remove the smell but you can't bathe the ferrets

too much or their scent glands will over produce and will actually make them

smell worse so I give them a bath every few weeks or so they sleep up to 18

hours a day so they do a lot of sleeping like me so there are actually great pets

for people who work they will actually assimilate to your sleep schedule which

is really great but you still need to give

them like four hours a day of like activity having them out playing with

them giving them some good playtime when they're up they're curious and they're

energetic they get into everything they steal my keys and my wallet out of my

purse and hide them under the bed I'm late to a lot of functions because of

how they hide my stuff but they're a lot of fun and I wouldn't trade them for the

world but make sure you give them a lot of exercise and also a lot of

supervision when they're out they have to be supervised at all times because

they will get into everything make sure if you can adopt a ferret I got one of

my ferrets from the shelter and the other one from the pet store and really

it's just if you can at all costs adopt don't shop give them the biggest

cage possible they can be litter trained if you have the patience to train them

they can be litter trained but they actually will like back up in two

corners and they poop in corners so at least you do know like what areas of the

cage they'll be pooping and even if they're not litter trained you'll know

where to look to clean up the poop be careful ferrets aren't legal in every

state so make sure you check your state's regulations on that ferrets are

social animals so they will do better with a friend I hope you learned a

little bit more about ferrets today I'm gonna go real quick and get my ferret so

that you can see them before I leave

you

How to Organizing Your Kids' Space A Guide for Every Age - Duration: 8:08.

Children should be taught organizational skills at an early age because this is an essential life skill.

These habits should be taught to them as early as age 2 and should continue until they're teenagers.

Welcome to Jansen's DIY and here's How to Organize Your Kids' Space: A Guide for Every Age

#1. Infancy

Your baby nursery should be well-stocked and well-organized. Accessibility and convenience are important elements of baby nurseries.

A baby basket should have all the necessities, such as squeeze toys, plush toys, and rattles.

A portable diaper changing station should be set up in several parts of the house, including the nursery, the common area, and other rooms you deem necessary.

Use removable storage bins to store toys, blocks and other baby things.

A small dresser or armoire should be adjacent to the baby's changing table. This should be flexible enough to be converted into storage for books or video games later on.

Baby shoes have a tendency to get lost easily in a big closet. Organize baby's shoes by hanging them on little clips. This way, you won't have a hard time looking for them.

We could also invest in versatile and inexpensive drawer organizers in order to keep items neat and clean.

Use clothespins to hang baby pants instead of buying pants hangers. This is practical and saves you money.

From "newborn" to "12 months," closet dividers will make it easier for mom to find the right sizes; this also allows you to use those baby outfits before your little one outgrows them.

Extra linens, swaddle blankets and crib sheets can be stored in roll-out drawers.

#2. Toddlers

Toddlers enjoy being helpful and helping mommy and daddy clean up.

It is best to keep an upbeat attitude, and your toddler will pick up the habit of cleaning up his toys and putting things back in their proper place.

Use low bookshelves within easy reach of your toddler's hands to make books they love more accessible to them.

Closet doors have a tendency to pinch little fingers.

Why not try installing a fun curtain that can be pulled back to provide access to favorite toys and books? Then the curtain can be drawn to conceal the clutter.

If you have toddlers who are climbers, it is a good idea to keep bins and toys storage baskets on the floor.

This means that kids can always reach their toys and clean up on their own too.

It is amazing how easily we accumulate toys on a monthly basis.

Purging the toys every two to three months and donating them to charity is a great idea to get rid of the clutter and to help other children in need.

Use an organizational method a child can understand well: use a color-coding scheme in keeping your children's toys.

Make cleaning up a fun game. Get an egg timer and tell your child you want to see how many toys he or she can clean up.

Think of other fun clean-up games so your toddler will associate cleaning up with being a fun activity.

You can keep storage under the bed. Provide plastic boxes or vintage-inspired crates your children can easily tuck under their beds.

Those tiny little toys that toddlers just love can cause a lot of clutter.

The solution is to provide clear bins with fun picture labels so your little one knows where to pack them away.

Have a small open bin at the bottom of your toddler's closet where you can toss clothes they have outgrown.

Children grow up so fast when they're in this age, and clothes that don't fit them anymore can add to the closet clutter.

If you don't have much space in your home, opt for storage benches.

This dual-purpose furniture is an ideal storage area for more toys or arts and crafts supplies.

#3. Preschool

Now that your child is in preschool, they are learning different skills and starting to become more independent.

This is a great time to teach them the responsibility of cleaning up their own mess.

Children in the preschool level are also very creative, and they thrive on being able to accomplish the little things you tell them to do.

Hang a second, lower clothes rod so children are able to reach their own clothes and hang them up.

Place hooks at the back of their bedroom door, making sure they are at a convenient height so kids can hang their own backpacks and jackets.

Establish specific zones or areas in your child's bedroom or playroom.

Preschoolers are beginning to understand there are certain places for certain activities. Set up their play area or bedroom to reflect this.

For instance, art projects and writing work can only be done at the corner table,

reading books should take place on the bed or by a small cozy corner,

and playing with blocks can take place on the mat.

Get really creative with storage space. Since children at this age love to collect a lot of things, they need plenty of space.

Have cleverly concealed storage spaces in your child's room. This will make cleaning up fun, too.

Use a hanging closet organizer and label it with the days of the week.

Have your child decide what clothes to wear for that particular day and have them place it on the corresponding day.

This makes getting ready in the morning easier and a lot less hectic.

Kids should be surrounded by books at an early age.

In order to organize picture books that are appropriate for preschool-aged children, mount wooden spice racks on the wall to serve as bookshelves.

Preschool-aged children love their Legos! However, Legos tend to clutter up a child's bedroom or playroom.

Teach your child to pack away Legos in clear plastic bins that are color-coded.

Celebrate your child's creativity by putting up an art wall! Reserve some space for your child to be proud of his or her own drawing or paintings.

Mount colorful wooden clothespins on the wall for artwork to be clipped and displayed.

Storing stuffed animals can be challenging. You can use swing shelves, stuffed animal chairs, wall-mounted buckets or baskets to store stuffed animals.

Organize your child's closet by adding cup hooks and little plastic crates as extra storage.

The plastic crates can store underwear, mittens, socks, and swimsuits.

#4. School-Age Children

When your children start to go to elementary school, you can give them more responsibility and make them accountable for their possessions.

Teach your kids organizational life skills. Teach your children to file their own homework papers and graded tests.

You can provide a small filing cabinet in their room. Guide them in deciding what items they think are important enough to keep.

Allow your children to establish their own routines. Your children should follow a schedule: a time to play, clean up, watch TV, do homework, etc.

Create a cozy, cheerful study corner with floating shelves and storage bins for your kids' papers, schoolwork, and art supplies.

If your children are sharing desk space, provide them with a stack-and-fit desk organizer that fits all their school supplies.

The kids' closet should be very organized as well. Their clothes should be arranged by types of clothing. Shoes should be placed neatly on racks.

Have a short message board for your children to remind them of their routines. You can write a reminder such as "Make the bed and tidy the room."

Your child is now old enough to decide what to keep and what not to keep.

Give your child a chance to decide which items will be kept and which will be given as hand-me-downs or donated to charity.

Now that your child is growing up, it is time to replace some "kiddie" and "baby" stuff to reflect new interests and brand-new pursuits.

For instance, toy chests should be replaced by shelving to hold collectible figures and video game consoles.

Older kids don't need dresser labels anymore, but they do need help deciding how best to group clothing items in the dresser drawers.

During laundry day, give your child the task of putting his clean clothes into the proper drawers.

Make it easy for your kids to grab what they need every day of the week by adding hooks and a small space for them to lay out what they need every morning.

And that's all for now…

For organizing ideas, stay tune to our channel.

Thanks for watching and we'll see you in the next videos…

Match Tie & Pocket Square (PERFECTLY Every Time!) Ultimate Guide To Matching Ties & Handkerchiefs - Duration: 9:12.

How To Match A Pocket Square With Your Necktie [0:00:00]

In today's video, the ultimate guide to matching your tie and pocket square

[Music] Rule number one.

Start with the necktie.

You want to find a necktie that's going to work with your shirt and jacket combination.

Rule number two.

We're going to go ahead and add a pocket square to this combination.

Notice we didn't start with the pocket square.

You start with a necktie, then you add the pocket square.

Rule number three.

You want your pocket square to compliment your necktie, not exactly match.

So, I'm not looking for red pocket square, I'm looking for one that complements.

Rule number four.

Finding accessories that complement each other, it's not that difficult.

What you want to look for is one color that they have in common.

Now, I've made this easy, kept the necktie solid.

But, you notice the red right here on the edge, that's why these two are going to

work so well together.

Boom!

Look at that combination, doesn't that look good?

Now, a necktie can be worn without a pocket square, but to me it just I don't know it

feels lonely, it just doesn't look nearly as good.

And, of course you can wear a pocket square without wearing a necktie.

I personally love this look because I feel the message it sends is that I did pay attention

to the details and, no, I did not forget to wear a necktie.

This was intentional.

And, let's talk about ties.

So, there are all types of different ties out there, but a lot of people are confused

on the bowtie.

Now, the bowtie is just as formal and fits in any situation that you can wear a necktie

and, yes, a bowtie with a pocket square looks amazing.

Now, your pocket square and your necktie can be made from the same material.

In this case, silk, but bonus points if you can bring in something like cotton or linen,

I think which gives a bit more texture and makes it interesting.

And be careful of pocket square creep.

This is when you wear a pocket square that's too small and it starts to fall in and hide

or you wear a pocket square that's too large and it starts to spill out.

And, gentlemen, in case you're wondering, all the beautiful ties and pocket squares

you see in today's video are brought to you by The Dark Knot, the paid sponsor of

today's video and for over five years I've been talking about this company because I

know the founder personally, Rishi.

I have watched him take this company from nothing to I think offering some of the best

deals out there on luxury neckties, pocket squares, and accessories at an affordable

price.

So, all of The Dark Knot neckties are interlined with a double layer of wool and cotton.

Basically, what this gives is a rich thick great-looking necktie knot whenever you tie

it and they pay attention to the small details.

We're talking about reinforced bar tack stitching and label keeper sewn throughout

the seams so to ensure a greater durability of the necktie.

And all of their silk and linen pocket squares, they're all manufactured with contrasting

hand rolled edges.

Every single one of their items comes presented in a elegant black gift box that comes not

only with what you order, but a card that actually explains how to use the item, how

best to match the item, a little bit about the item, so that you can use that accessory

to its full potential.

Gents, all that plus free global shipping.

Again, The Dark Knot is about a quality product at an affordable price, so go check them out,

guys.

I'm linking to The Dark Knot down in the description with the best discount code you're

going to find out there.

Use it or lose it, guys.

That's it, let's get back into the content.

All right.

So now, we've laid out the rules, I'm going to walk you guys through my thought

process.

I'm going to take various neckties various pocket squares and talk about why I think

they go together or why they don't.

All right.

So, this necktie right here, a nice stripe.

Now, this is going to work with a shirt and jacket combination because of the blue right

here that is shared with the jacket.

It's going to actually create a lot of contrast because of the difference in pattern.

And this right here is a very bold necktie, but one that actually is still very formal

because of its traditional heritage.

All right.

So, let's start off simple.

Let's look at this white pocket square.

Yes, it has a bit of red right here, but you can really hide that in the fold.

Now, would this work with this combination?

The answer is yes.

The white presidential pocket square is easily one of the most versatile pocket squares that

can pretty much match with any combination.

But, I think you guys can see this combination right here just a very clean look.

Next up, let's look at this pocket square right here.

We see a paisley pattern white background and the blue.

You think this would go?

The answer is yes.

The blue color right here matching with the jacket and with the necktie actually and the

unique pattern paisley I think it works great in pocket square, one of my favorite pocket

square patterns.

And you can see I can just bring that in here, the pattern is going to bring a bit of disruption.

I think it's a great combination with this overall.

What do you think?

Let me know in the comments.

All right.

So, we're going to stay similar, go with another paisley combination, but this one

has pink, but notice, again, blue and a few variations of it are the dominant.

What do you think this is going to work?

The answer is yes.

In fact, I think it looks even better than that last combination.

And the pink, yes, it's nowhere else in m outfit, but it really stands out it's

going to grab attention and that blue is going to make it work with this entire outfit.

And this right here, a great combination.

All right.

So, we got a small repeating pattern on all the background with the blue outer lining.

What do you think, is this going to work with this combination?

And the answer is yes again.

Notice, we're going for complement.

It's that little bit of blue here on the edge which makes it work.

[0:05:00] Now, what about this combination, we've

got gray with white with the black.

Do you think this is going to work?

And the answer is it can work.

I don't like it as much.

I do like my pocket squares to have more color, but the white right here is actually going

to work with the shirt, so I could actually work to pull off this combination.

Yeah.

I don't like it as much, but you could pull it off.

Now, what about this one right here, a dot combination maybe with a little bit of a light

blue and dark blue on the outside?

Well, again, if you follow the rules you guys know that the blue will make it so that it

works, but if we just want with the red right in here and that's what we showed with the

dot.

The great thing about this is that different type of patterns will work well.

So, a stripe right here is going to work fine with the dot, but if we had a stripe that

was the similar size, probably wouldn't work as well as a pocket square.

But this one right here, yeah, you could make it work and I think adding a bit of color

in red a splash there is going to work fine, but probably not my first choice.

Now, what about this?

This should be easy.

We've got linen with the blue with the gray with the white.

The answer is yes.

And the great thing about this, again, is we have linen mixing it with silk.

So, this combination right here, you actually have a difference in texture and that right

here is going to make it more interesting.

All right.

So now, let's talk about this necktie, beautiful, I absolutely love its small repeating pattern,

classic piece and it actually can be worn in a business environment.

But, this is something that is drawing attention to itself, so you got to be careful with the

pocket square combinations you put with this.

So, I would in my opinion keep the pocket squares in general a bit muted.

This pocket square right here classic presidential fold in white, I think works perfect.

Okay.

So, again, I'm looking for something that complements.

Notice I've got this light blue.

We actually have a light blue right here on the necktie, so technically this will work.

But, when you put it together, do you like it?

And that's another secret weapon when you're putting the stuff together, guys, if you don't

feel confident, then don't try – then don't do it, but practice wearing and say,

you know what?

I like this combination.

It's not going to be for everyone, but I like the combination there.

What do you think of this one?

Maybe I need to go with a different fold.

Let me know down in the comments.

Okay.

So, let's talk about this combination, very busy, very busy, am I going to try to put

this together?

No.

I think this is way too much competition here.

And, again, a favorite pocket square right here, I absolutely love this one the color

combination, beautiful, but is it going to work?

Ah, you know this is a purple and this is a pink.

I think some people could actually look at that and say that they're really close,

but I don't know it feels almost a little bit too much competition.

What about this combination?

No, I don't think so.

Again, too much competition here between these two.

So, what do you think?

Pretty muted tie actually works well with the jacket and this pocket square, again,

the classic white presidential fold works with anything.

Does this combination work?

I, you know I'm on the fence with this one.

I do feel that the necktie is a little bit too strong a little bit too casual, but I

can see how it could work because of the color combinations.

What do you guys think what do you think of this combination right here?

I think this can work actually if you want to put this in, it just got that nice color

that just works.

I'm looking there's a little bit of blue, the blue works here.

I could go with this.

What about this combination?

This one's a very light has a very airy feel.

This one much more formal.

You think we can put this together?

I don't know.

Maybe because of the white shirt, I think you could pull it off, but I' not so sure

about this one.

Again, guys, let me know down in the comments do you like this combination?

And, bringing in the dot.

Now, I think this is a great combination.

Again, because this tie is very muted and dots although they are in general casual they

can be worn with this color with this combination right here.

All right, guys, you want more information on neckties, guess what?

I've got a video right here on the nine types of neckties that you need to know every

man needs to know.

How To Afford A Private Island || Thrillist Travel Guide - Duration: 3:39.

- The only thing better than relaxing on a lovely beach

is relaxing on a lovely beach with no other human beings

around to bug the (bleep) out of you.

(upbeat guitar music)

Hello internet, I am Wil Fulton

and this is "Thrillist Travel Guide,"

the show where we not only tell you

about the best places to visit

and what to do when you're there,

we tell you how to be a better traveler overall.

Like, for example, don't recline your seat, you jerk.

- Relax, don't let him get to you.

- Just sayin'.

But today, we're gonna focus on the apex of luxury,

the kind of stuff that would make Robin Leach

spit his gold-infused Cristal out,

owning your own private island, and how you, yes you,

can rent out a private island of your own

for not that much scratch.

Owning your own private island has some major advantages.

Mainly, no one else is around.

This is inconvenient when you need someone

to put suntan lotion on your back,

but pretty damn convenient for everything else.

And it's long been a super celebrity status symbol

to own an entire island.

Leo DiCaprio, you know, that actor

who gained worldwide fame from starring in "The Beach,"

owns his own private island in Belize.

It's two miles long and only costs $2.2 million,

which is, frankly, un-Belize-able.

(crickets chirping)

Sorry.

Celine Dion has an island

complete with a castle in her native Quebec,

and even Ricky Martin owns his own island

off the coast of Brazil.

Hmm, I guess that's where he's been

for the last 20 years, that explains a lot.

But enough about those jerks.

How can you get in on the private island action

without being an actual millionaire?

I'm glad you asked.

Off the coast of Belize, where Leo has his island, remember,

lies Little Harvest Caye, a 1.5-acre slice of paradise

that's a five-minute boat ride from the mainland,

but far, far, far away from all

the problems you want to leave there.

There are five separate cottages

accommodating up to 14 guests

and a small staff that will help you clean,

cook, and maybe even figure out

how stand on a paddleboard without falling.

Well, they'll do their best.

Rental rates for the island

go for $11,000 to $21,000 a week, depending on the season,

and considering what they're offering,

it's not really that bad of a deal.

If you get 11 friends together during the slow season,

that's, what, a grand per person?

I've had bar tabs more than that.

Also off the coast of Belize,

where I guess bougie private islands are just everywhere,

you can find Bird Island, which is a slightly smaller

and less fancy option than Harvest Caye,

but if you bring five friends,

it would only cost an absurdly cheap $82.50 per night.

Now, I've definitely had bar tabs more than that.

This one has no staff, no fancy-pants fronts,

and has a real "Swiss Family Robinson" type vibe to it

that actually makes you feel

like you're alone on a deserted island.

Which, you know, you are, but you'll have fridges

and beds and stoves and toilets and all that stuff,

because being able to (bleep) in a toilet

just makes unplugging a little bit easier,

more comfortable too.

So, in the end, as you can see,

getting your own slice of the private island life

is not impossible, in fact, it's very doable.

If you plan ahead and also have a few friends

to help you split the bill.

Look, everybody, maybe just be a little bit nicer

to your loved ones, they might come in handy soon.

Mozambique Road Trip Guide 🇲🇿Easy or Risky? 🙈 - Duration: 10:08.

Good Morning from Maputo in Mozambique!

Greg and I have rented a car for the next 7 days

and I am not 100% sure that was a good idea,

but this video will tell!

I said that we were not sure about renting a car,

because coming into Mozambique

we had to bribe a police officer in order to get our passports back,

and in general the police here does not

have a good reputation.

So far however everything has been running smoothly,

we have made it to the office of WIN Rental Car

- Greg is finalising the paperwork -

so that we can jump into the vehicle

and find out what renting a car in Mozambique is like!

The first tip for car rental in Mozambique

I can provide after 5 minutes driving:

Don't ever assume you have the right-away!

Everybody drives the way he/she wants

so it is important to pay attention to traffic all the time.

The second tip has been confirmed by several locals

Don't give police men a reason to pull you over.

Stay away from crazy manoeuvres

and most importantly: Don't speed!

On the highway you are allowed 100 km/h, but in the

countryside you are sometimes only supposed to go 60.

If you are not sure, just stick to 60 km/h

to be save.

Not really a tip, but good to know is that

in Mozambique you drive on the left side of the road

which can be a bit challenging in the beginning

but is really only something to get used to.

We have now passed cops a couple of times,

but luckily haven't had to stop yet - just to slow down.

But of course we did not hold the camera

right into their faces, didn't want to risk

them changing their minds...

Means so far -fingers crossed- we have been lucky.

Our road trip has been smooth sailing so far,

we are traveling from Maputo up the coast

all the way to Tofo, our final destination,

but going 60 km/h everything seems to be taking

a bit longer, so we have stopped half way

in a village of which I can't pronounce the name...

to stay the night.

On the road again, and we're off to...

Tofo Beach! -Let's go!

Alright, we have been pulled over for the first time

but luckily only had to show the car's documents

before we were asked to continue our drive

Definitely another advice I can give is that you learn

a few words of Portuguese.

Even if it is only "Obrigada" and "Bom día"...

that can make the police officer happy enough.

Welcome to the beach paradise Tofo!

Greg and I are here for 4 nights

and will probably just relax for a bit

and I feel like we deserve that, after such a long drive...

Don't we?

Our time here in Tofo is sadly coming to an end

After 4 days of beach & sunshine we are heading back

to Maputo, but for those of you who

is thinking about visiting Tofo and who loves

diving, surfing...

or just suntanning

I can definitely recommend Tofo Beach.

This place is a little paradise and I am honestly

a little sad to be leaving already.

Alright, we have been pulled over again and

I would like to interview the driver why that happened...

Yeah, with the police...

not good, but...

can I talk in English?

Muss wohl an deinem Lächeln liegen...

...Or we just got lucky!

Back in Maputo and the car returned safely,

I have to admit that I am feeling a little relieved.

What you saw in this video probably looked pretty easy

and fun, but we did get a couple of serious warnings

prior to our departure.

If you're unlucky and the police officer has a bad day

getting a huge fine as a tourist is totally normal

- legally correct or not.

And we even heard some horror stories

of people who had to spend a few night in prison.

In our case all went smoothly

and we had a great time driving.

Especially our final destination was a real treat.

So, I would always recommend renting a car in Mozambique,

especially the flexibility and comfort that come with it

are priceless.

And because the alternative (small sticky vans)

is not really all that appealing.

In any case, definitely be cautious,

make copies of your ID, passport and drivers licence

and don't speed!!

Maybe a few words about expenses...

For 1 week we spent 300€ between the two of us,

including gas, and I think that's very affordable.

These are my tips, here from Mozambique,

if you have any more questions, please let me know in the comments below.

I would also appreciate if you subscribed to this channel

because our Africa adventure is still not over.

Next week we are traveling to Swaziland, then SA...

until them, thank you so much for watching

and Tschüss from Mozambique!
