The temperature outside the window has already dropped below zero, and heavy snowfalls will soon begin.
So we need to properly prepare for the winter airsoft games. And we must do it right.
Airsoft season officialy ended. But, as we say in the Perm region, only "the active summer season" has ended.
Winter games has not been canceled. And in the winter games has its merits.
But now, based on personal experience.... How do beginners usually prepare for winter games?
Sometimes they think that it is enough for them to put on a white disguise. And that will be enough.
With regards to white disguise.... In the Perm region was decided not to use white masking. There is a number of reasons for this.
First: Camouflage works in statics. And this means that in the active game the white disguise plays no role.
Secondly, white camouflage suits were often the causes of a "technical cheating".
Thirdly, because of white camouflage, there are problems with the identification of the opponent, since such camouflage is present on "both sides of the barricades".
Besides this, under the white disguise, beginners wore no winter clothes at all. It is a fact.

Preparing for the winter games should start with your weapon. It would be best to disassemble the gun and lubricate the parts with non-freezing materials.
As a minimum, you should change the hop-up gum and stock up on fresh batteries.
Hop-up gum is a serious problem. In cold they freeze and become useless. Experienced players recommend purchasing a part made of silicone.
However, on guns of CM-040 series, the regular gum works properly, which is surprising
With regards to batteries. Regular batteries that come with a gun in the selling kit is not worth using.
They can be disharged in 20-30 minutes just being in a bag.
Better to buy batteries like Li-Po type or Li-Ion type. Should take at least three batteries.
Just in cases, check the wiring isolation to avoid the bad effects of snow ingress.
Go to the clothes. For winter games it is recommended to dress in several layers.
The first layer is a functional moisture underwear. It is made of fine synthetics. It collects moisture from the body and transfers to the next layers.
The second layer is a warming functional underwear. Its task is not only to take moisture into the next layer, but also to provide heat saving.
High vapor permeability and high moisture permeability are formed.
Body armor also contributes to heat saving functions. This is due to the protective plates.
The plates are tight to the body, not allowing it to blown by wind and chill. Thus the chest is protected from cold even with active movement.
Footwear. It is advisable to use shoes made entirely of leather. If this shoe is not available, then you can use water-repellent impregnation.
Plain shoes are worth a size larger so you can use wool or fleece socks.
You can also use chemical heating elements for legs and body.
You can buy gaiters to keep your feet from getting snow in your shoes. It's better than the old-fashioned style - wrap your legs in bags and put shoes on top of them.
But the old-fashioned method is still good. It's just a cheap option.
In general, a large number of things can be applied to games in the winter season. Jackets lining, fleece sweaters, down jackets, any warm civilian stuff
The main thing is that they are hidden under your regular camouflage. Believe it is possible.
