Nick Cobb: Wisdom teeth are our third molars that most people have extracted because it
just doesn't seem like we have enough space for them anymore.
I'd say probably 90% of the time I would say get them out.
But there are a handful of people who can support them and if they can keep them clean,
there's no problem with keeping them.
The majority of the case for wisdom teeth, if you want to get them out, we can take care
of here.
There are few instances, depending upon clinical situations where I would refer out to the
oral surgeon.
But once again, probably about 80 to 90% are taken care of here.
And we do it under pill sedation and with the pill sedation, patients are still able
to talk to you but they're sleeping through the procedure and they just don't remember
anything.
Most people get them done on a Friday and are fine by Monday.
