Hello everyone and welcome to Malcesine in province of Verona
Today we will use the cableway Monte Baldo to gain share from there
riding our bikes we will pedal for arrive on Monte Altissimo and take
a path that will descend directly on the shores of Garda Lake
Once out of the cableway Monte Baldo we follow to the left
the indication for Monte Altissimo e take the white road slightly downhill
The white road then becomes paved road that we cover for one
short stretch and near the first one turning to the right we take the
path on the left
So we arrive after 5 - 10 minutes of single track to cross again
the asphalt road that we will take to the left for
reach the Monte Altissimo refuge
Thus we reach the Graziani refuge where the asphalt road ends
we continue on a dirt road, we pass behind the shelter and from here on up
the slope increases considerably. Immediately behind the Graziani refuge, 200 meters later,
at the first junction, we turn to left following the indication for Altissimo refuge
We come to the Rifugio Altissimo we leave you the refuge
We leave the shelter behind and leave the courtyard immediately taking the left
path 601 directed towards Mount Varagna

The stones leave space on the beaten earth
we can let our bike run much faster
Truly narrow passages
Even at some root
Here we find a fork: we hold the left, high
When we arrive near the mountain Varagna
we will continue straight on the almost level path
We arrive thus near the departure of a white road that we can
choose whether to take or take the single track that cuts it
This path in its first part is very simple
We cross the road, we do 100 meters
and we cross it again. We turn to left for 5 - 6 meters and to the right resumes the single track
Really spectacular environment indeed
And so here we are to cross the asphalt. It will be sufficient to go back for a few meters
and turn right following the sign Nago. Also from here down there is the asphalt road,
but the single track that we are going to cross often as in the upper part
!!! We always pay attention to the car, we are on a road !!!
When the single track traits end turn right downhill on asphalt
and continue for a few kilometers up to Prati di Nago.
Before arriving at the church of Prati di Nago, turn left towards Nago - Navene, on a dirt road
We find a fountain: we are on path 6
So we arrive on a wide white road, clear intersection, we turn left
recovering the single track
And so we go out to the Dosso dei Roveri where turn left onto path 6
towards Lago and Navene
The only junction we keep the right, downhill, towards Navene
A beautiful viewpoint on the lake
and then we turn left downhill
An infinite descent
Now the path has left room for one white road, wide, passable even by car
500 meters after the bar that we crossed we find on the
our left is a single track trail which cuts the white road we try to
take it. Cross the road again and it continues clean enough to come out like this
from the forest directly on the asphalt of Navene
Then continue on asphalt until you reach the STOP
Immediately after turning left on the road, turn to
right in via Santa Francesca following the evident red and white notches
And so we arrive on the Lungo Lago
At this point Malcesine point being further south
it will be on our left. There is nothing left to do but turn left and
walk the cycle path that will lead us to Malcesine in a few kilometers
