The two Koreas and the United Nations Command will rearrange the surveillance equipment
at the Joint Security Area and share information from their respective devices.
Military officials from the three sides held working-level talks on Monday at the Freedom
House on the South Korean side of the border village of Panmunjeom.
After that meeting, and on Tuesday, they inspected the site together to see where surveillance
equipment has been installed and what kind of devices are being used in each other's
area.
While doing so, they discussed how to rearrange the existing equipment and where more devices
should be installed... for security personnel stationed in each other's area and to enable
visitors to move freely within the JSA in the future.
The three sides also talked about technical issues to figure out how to share video footage
