My name is Eduardo Arce , I come from Mexico

I've been living here in Japan since the 4th of April

I got here about 6 months ago

And I live in a homestay

I went through Go! Go! Nihon to come to Japan

The application process was quite easy and very clear

Everyone I was in contact with really took care of me

As soon as I would send them a message about a doubt that I had or any problem

They would reply to me the following day

The process to find a homestay with Go! Go! Nihon was as easy as telling them

"I want to find a homestay", and that's it

It all went smooth with them, I told them I want this kind of family

I wanted to live in a quiet area, in the suburbs

And they found me a family I could live with in Japan

I also had an experience in a homestay

I went to Australia for 9 months with a Working Holiday visa

and I stayed in a homestay the whole time when I was there

I had the chance to stay with a really nice family and as I like English

I thought that I would become a host myself if I have a spare room to use

when I have my own house after I come back to Japan

First, you don't live alone

There is someone for you if you have any problem

Second, you live with a Japanese family in Japan

so you live the Japanese experience

They bring you to traditional events, they tell you what you can do

They recommend you some places, and you have someone to practice the language with

I had people from 6 different countries in my homestay

They all have a different culture

And the people are always different, you have people who like to get up early

people who enjoy the night more, who go out by themselves

some others are more quiet

It's not only because they're foreigners, every person is just different

I really enjoy meeting everyone

I know I can rely on them while studying the language. If there is anything,

I can ask them. It's their native language, they tell me what is good and what is wrong

He (Eduardo) is studying Japanese really hard from morning until the evening

At the weekend, he's going to the library to study

He does scuba diving too

He also does calligraphy during the weekend, he takes calligraphy lessons

He has a deep interest in learning about the Japanese culture

He goes to various places by himself and we do a lot of experiences together

My experience with the language is that I didn't have any before coming here

I would say that living in a homestay quite helped me

because I have people I can practice with, they help me and correct me

And about the classes in school

I would say that the way they teach is rather innovative

Thanks to Go! Go! Nihon all the process was made really easy

And I wouldn't have had it any other way

Thank you Go! Go! Nihon!

Milan Travel Guide - Attractions in Milano, Italy - Duration: 8:11.

Great to have you back, this time from Italy, this is...

...Milan.

I did try to get it right first time ;-)

Hey great you're back. This time from Milan, Italy.

The largest city bar Rome and also the financial capital of the country.

Also know for it's fashion and of course football (soccer).

However I think there is so much more to do. I'm going to check it out over the next couple of days.

You'll immediately notice the architecture. It's as if 2 worlds come together. Old meets new Italy.

Let's get you started with a great tip.

If you still have the option of choosing the Milan airport you will be flying to I'd highly recommend Linate airport.

It's as close to the city as you can get. Malpensa lies approximately 50km outside Milan.

A single taxi journey will set you back around €100, a train or bus service easily will take you between 45-60 minutes...

...and €8-12

This trip starts in the Milan centre at this eye-catcher, the Duomo.

It's like a Sagrada Familia except to say, they did finish this one.

They'll be working for a few more years on the Sagrada in Barcelona.

Building activity started in the 14th century and was not finished before the 20th.

The church got opened in 1965.

Just standing in front of it shows how spectacular it really is.

It's 1 of the biggest Catholic Churches in the world, of course the Rome St. Peters is bigger.

The last few years also a lot of maintenance has been done to there church.

All lighting has been replaced by LED lighting, not charming but...

... a better environment starts here with the Catholic Church.

My advice: buy a ticket and sit down on the terraces.

It will provide a great Milan view but also of the top of the church. Stunning!

Not all buildings are antique, you'll find many modern buildings here.

For example these sets of towers, Bosco Verticale.

Stuffed with 900 trees, plants and hedges. It's like an organic air purifier.

Which isn't a bad idea as it's one of the most polluted cities in Europe.

The towers got awarded most beautiful towers in the world in 2014.

It's definitely not recommended to travel to Milan during August, it's simply too hot.

It's correct!! It feels as it it's 45 degrees today and am sweating profusely in areas it shouldn't.

Hardly any locals at the moment. The must've fled the city for the beaches.

I understand why. ;-)

Best time to visit is earlier in the year like April-May or later during September-October.

Head out to Parco Sempione for some refreshing cooling down.

It measures 39 acres, exactly how much is that?

Roughly the size of 50 football (soccer) fields, try scoring then. It's the same distance I will traveling through town today to record this video ;-)

Side note: the entire Parc is services with a great free WiFi service.

Milan's hottest district is Navigly.

What used to be an old harbour place has now been turned into one of the hottest places in the city.

Try for a walk past the canals or head down to one of the restaurants.

You'll be served some fantastic Italian food.

Just like in Lisbon Portugal, they still have trams in service here in Milan.

Not just for urban transport, they're a great ride. I'll be traveling the Tram 1 service across today.

It's said Milan is great for shipping. Partially true, especially if you're eye is exclusive brands.

Bring an empty suit case to bring it back with you.

The exclusive brands are located around the Golden Circle.

A set of important streets blending together, an area in which you can easily spend your money.

You can also shop in this beautiful "arcade" next to the Duomo.

I like creative and the more affordable brands...

...and if thats what you'll be going for I wouldn't go to Milan just for shopping.

Buy your stuff online or in your domestic shopping mall.

This might not be front of mind but take a visit to the Cimitero Monumentale.

It's a massively impressive site to visit.

If you're looking for great street art head to Isola.

This used to be one of the more run down places in Milan.

Isola means 'island'. You used feel as if you were on an island as it was not serviced by public transport.

Totally different these days though. It's the beating creative heart of the city with these beautiful wall paintings.

Don't forget your camera, this leads to great Instagram pictures.

It doesn't really matter where you are in Italy, they serve great ice-cream everywhere.

On a day like today when it's hot obviously it's very tempting to get one.

Some of my friends claim this is the best ice-cream shop in town.

Did you like the video, thumbs up will be appreciated.

If you don't want to miss out on my other travel why not subscribe to my YouTube Channel.

It's free and will open up your view on the world.

Toronto travel guide; things to do in Toronto Canada Ontario | tourism video - Duration: 4:09.

On this episode of Traveling with Krushworth, I'm in Toronto Ontario

On a whirlwind one-day visit to Canada's largest city.

Walk the streets of this dynamic multicultural hub.

It's known for its city and provincial politics, arts,

Music and food scenes—and its longstanding sports history.

Canadians also know the city for its booming film industry

And as the home of the Toronto International Film Festival,

which brings nearly a half million people to the city each September.

As a filming location, Toronto acts as a

Stand-in for other places or is highlighted for itself.

I went for breakfast at an eatery in the city, used

As a film location in Michael Dowse's "The F Word."

You might recognize the George Street Diner,

Which was used for the charming banter scenes between

Danielle Radcliffe's "Wallace" and Zoe Kazan's character "Chantry."

With me as your guide, ride to the top of the famed CN Tower

And then go an extra 33 stories—147 floors in total—to

One of the highest observational platforms on Earth, the Skypod.

Take the time to see the unbelievable 360 degree view,

Perfect lit up at night or during the day.

For many visitors,

Their tower experience is one of the highlights of their trip

Before returning to street level, take a leap of faith and

Walk onto the glass floor.

Don't worry, it won't crack—

It's built to sustain the weight of 35 moose.

It is, however, 1,122 ft straight down.

Only a stones throw from the CN Tower in the Entertainment District,

the Ripley's Aquarium of Canada is the largest indoor

aquarium in the country with 16,000 marine animals.

Move from the serene kelp forest to the otherworldly Planet Jelly display.

Step into the underwater tunnel and glide effortlessly

Through the Dangerous Lagoon on the moving path.

There's nothing like sharks, rays and other species

Passing above and all around you.

The aquarium is one of the

Premiere attractions in the city today, and welcomes people year round.

My next adventure had me setting off down Yonge Street

To the lights of Yonge-Dundas Square.

Known for events set at

The very heart of Toronto, it's a place for people-watching and performance.

Toronto has eclectic and trendy neighbourhoods,

Including Chinatown along Spadina Avenue.

My only time to visit this district represented by delicious food, shops and stores was at night

Next, I visited nearby Kensington Market, an outdoor area

Where open air grocers, hole in the wall bars and restaurants are

Populated by the city's hipsters and travellers seeking to unwind.

While my timing didn't allow a daytime visit, it just means

A return trip will be planned sometime soon.

Toronto's cultural districts offer a microscope lens into the city's fabric and heritage.

HITMAN 2 - Miami, Pink Army Achievement Easter Egg Unlock Guide - Duration: 15:56.

HITMAN 2/HITMAN 2018/HITMAN SEASON 2 - Miami, The Finish Line, Pink Army Achievement Unlock Guide

Here is the answer why such achievement is redacted - it's enormously hidden

The first guidance to me, was to conclude the name of this achievement with the opportunity

There is an opportunity called New Army in The Finish Line, Miami

Like in the case of Explosive Liaisons challenge - intel that describes Kowoon Mechanic, Bomb and the image of Phone Booth

Another hint that guided me towards the unlock of this achievement - a photo of the Green Flamingo Mascot near the starting point

It started to ring a bell that these two things are closely related to each other

The Android uses the photographs scattered around the map (there are only for Sierra, Robert Knox, Green Flamingo and surprise, FLORIDA MAN)

After long hours spent in offline with different disguises, I tried to use the one of fake mascot

This was a gold shot that made every NPC on the map, turned into a Green Flamingo Mascot

Wanted to a vid with Challenge unlock, but I realized it's a STEAM achievement, lol

If you really appreciate my content and videos, please leave a like and subscribe to it (REMEMBER ABOUT BELL, you can also join my Discord!

The Sims 4 First Person Mode Guide (New Camera) - Duration: 2:38.

With today's release of the terrain tools and stylist career patch, The Sims 4 also

has a first person mode, accessible by hitting shift+tab.

While in first person, you can look around normally with the mouse and issue commands

toward anything you can see.

For times when there is a door or wall in the way that won't let you select the ground

behind it, you can simply right click to bring up a 'move here' dialog that will help you

get where you're trying to go... this, assuming you can stomach first person for any length

of time.

While in this mode, some players will have a bit of dizziness especially if they are

not used to first person games.

You can scroll the mouse wheel back to increase field of view and reduce the relative motion

somewhat, which will help with that symptom.

For what it's worth, this does get better if you have this problem but it does take

repeat exposures to get more used to it.

I think Sims is particularly bad because there is a LOT of head bobbing going on and a shooter

would not normally be this jerky.

Don't get me wrong, it's still cool.

It could use a few improvements, like setting field of view to a default value as it resets

each time you enter the mode.

You can interact with the interface by holding shift.

For example.

this might be handy to cancel a command or click a need to have your Sim auto-satisfy

it, while you're along for the ride.

If you lose control of the camera, it may be helpful to hit control to look back the

way your Sim is looking.

You can still remove the interface with tab like you would for immersion and screenshots.

Shift-tab will take you back to normal mode.

For now it is really crazy how far away the camera may go when you leave first person

- I do wish it would focus back on your Sim from overhead.

Certain things can be pretty funny when in first person mode, and I'm sure romantic moments

will be worth checking out.

Just don't expect things like woohoo to be bug-free.

It's going to show you lots of messed up textures as though you zoomed in super close to the

bed.

Same for swimming in a pool.

I have a copy of Get Famous courtesy of game changers, but I'd prefer to spend a lot more

time with it before I make any content in video form due to the amount of work, so I'll

be taking notes over the next few days and try to have something better for you over

the weekend.

I will also cover the terrain tools, I have a page up on my guide, though to many of you

those will be self explanatory.

your advisor through the SSC Guide App Let's get started. From the "home page",

under the "Explore" section, select the purple "Appointments" button. Then select

"Schedule an Appointment" at the bottom of the screen.

You will be prompted by a page that asks what type of appointment you would like

to schedule. Select "Advising". Pick the service category that best suits your

Select "Next" at the bottom of the screen. Next, you'll pick the location that

houses your major. If you have not declared a major, select "Undeclared/

Exploratory" at the end of the list. Select "Next" at the bottom of the screen.

On the next screen, you'll see available upcoming appointment time blocks. The

current weeks availability will show as a default, but you can also select to look at

a future week's availability by tapping on the blue arrow to the right of the

Diversity style guide- Reporting on Asian Americans - Duration: 6:57.

A 2017 Pew research study found that there are currently

20 million Asian Americans living in the United States

Each of these 20 million people can trace their heritage back to one of 48 countries in Asia

Each with many many different varied cultures

Given this Diversity it's important to report accurately and sensitively

On these marginalized communities

Here are some common pitfalls on reporting on Asian Americans and solutions to help you avoid them in the future

The first pitfall you want to avoid is stereotyping,

For example many Asian American communities are stereotyped to as a "Model Minority"

Meaning that many people always see them as hard working, rich, industrious and studious.

Although many people consider the "Model Minority" stereotype a positive stereotype

because it doesn't negatively impact those that it stereotypes

It still generalizes a wide group of people

Similarly, you want to avoid stereotyping Middle Eastern people

Especially in the wake of 9/11

We often see media reporting that shows Middle Easter people as terrorists

In or harboring secret, unpatriotic sentiments you want to avoid these stereotypes

at all costs.

Because they negatively reflect on a marginalized community

That often has nothing to do with the terrorist incidents involved.

This stereotype can be seen in more subtle ways,

For example, many people use 9/11 as an allegory or metaphor for other common occurrences and current events.

While 9/11 is a good reference frame to use that your audience

will understand, be careful not to stereotype the groups involved

as what happened in the wake of 9/11

In general you want to avoid homogenizing Asian Americans

or falling back on a one-dimensional portrayal

Given the diversity of Asia and modern Asian Americans.

It's limiting to generalize all Asian Americans in the same group.

Which often erases cultural differences, especially to your audience,

who may not understand the nuances of different Asian cultures.

Here are some examples of old political cartoons

with harmful stereotypes as you can see, many of the

people depicted in this cartoon have long hair, flowing clothing, and look relatively unisex

This falls back onto the stereotypes that Asian American men

don't line up with respectable middle class notions of masculinity

while these old political cartoons aren't quite as relevant today

many of the mindsets behind these cartoons can still be found in our modern culture

When doing sensitive reporting, you also want to avoid the pittfall

of falling back on harmful terms

Here are some examples of words that, though once commonplace

are no longer considered socially acceptable.

Here are some examples of good reporting

Each of these articles refers to the demographic as "Asian Americans"

Instead of one of the more harmful terms we mentioned earlier

Furthermore, all of these articles look past the stereotypes and focus

on the facts.

So that they can accurately report on this community.

Here's an example of what not to do,

In this video you can see Jesse Watters interviewing residents of Chinatown, New York

As you can see, many of his questions fall into racist stereotypes

and he's often disrespectful to those he's interviewing.

avoid this kind of behavior and treat the Asian American cultures you're interacting with, with respect

Jesse Watters: Trump has been beating up on China. How does that make you feel?

Clip: Speak, speak why don't you speak!!!

Jesse Watters: Donald Trump beating up on China at the debate

Man: *laughs*

Jesse Watters: Is it the Year of the Dragon?

Jesse Watters: Rabbit?

Sound effect: *Drag on cigarette*

Jesse Watters: Is everything made in China now?

Woman: Not everything

Jesse Watters: Tell me what's not made in China?

Woman: I cant think of it right now.

Jesse Watters: Me neither.

Clip "Now I'm explaining to you, because you look nervous"

Jesse Watters: Is China America's friend or enemy?

Woman: China and America? Of course are friends!

Jesse Watters: Can you guys take care of North Korea for us?

Woman: Wow! That is too much!

Clip: "Yikes"

Man: I guess, Frienemies?

Jesse Watters: *Laughs* Frienemies?

Jesse Watters: Do they call Chinese food in China just food?

You'll also want to avoid reducing Asian American culture to a trend

or exotifying it

For example, if you're reporting on a new "Fusion Food" restaurant, Avoid passing it off as authentic Asian food.

Often, this is not an accurate representation of Asian culture

So, many people will take offense if it is presented as such

On the other hand, you don't want to exotify Asian cultures

When a culture is exotified, it's othered and deemed "Not Normal"

So, when you exotify a culture in your reporting, you're telling

your audience that this culture is "Not Normal" when in fact, this is not the case.

Stereotypes may sometimes be hard to avoid

especially if they're subtle and you're untrained at not noticing them

In these cases, if possible you may want to employ a sensitivity reader

to find stereotypes you may otherwise not locate.

As you report on Asian American communities: remember not to homogenize,

stereotype, or use harmful terms, instead

use respect and sensitivity as you report on marginalized communities.

Cute Birdie Cake Pops Made Easy- Step By Step guide- Jilly Makes a Cake - Duration: 6:32.

hi everyone its Jill and welcome to another edition of Jilly makes a cake so

today we're going to be decorating some really fun cake pops that are super easy

we're going to be doing some sweet cute little yellow birds so right now we're

just gonna dive straight in so hopefully at this point you already have your cake

pops already made ready for their treat stick to going if you are not at this

stage I want you to hit pause make yourself a box cake go back a video and

just have a look at how they made and they can be in the freezer for about an

hour and then you can jump back into this video if you have some cake pops

that are already done let's get to work and let's start getting our trip sticks

into our cake pops so remember you're going to add your candy melts you can

either put them in a microwave or you can use a little milk pot and all we're

going to do is we're going to stick our melted chocolate into the top of our

cake pop go all the way along like so each other really well and truly in

there if you want to tidy up your cake pop then just use a little silicone

spatula to just smooth out those edges

let's get all of these done then what we're going to do is we're going to put

these sports we're going to put these back in the refrigerator just to allow

this candy melt to act like a glue to really sit now the great thing about

candy melts is that they set really fast it's kind of a a blessing and a curse

really but sometimes you need a little bit more time to work and they've

already sits so you have to add actually some actual chocolate to it or you can

just have melted chocolate and you can add candy melts to it okay all of our

treats tics are in I'm going to put this back in the refrigerator let this sit

and then we're gonna come back and start decorating our Birds okay so let's start

decorating the first thing you're gonna get is your cake pop make sure the stick

is nice and firm we're going to dip it into our candy mouth

just keep swirling until any excess comes off

okay so we've covered our cake pop in our candy melts so now the stopwatch

really starts holding your cake pop don't put them in your your phone just

yet let's add two eyeballs if I decorate holding up everything starts to slide

off then we had a little beak it's just a little piece of orange fondant rolled

up in a ball and then slightly rolled to make a little beak shape very cute then

we want some little feet all I do again is I take a little ball of orange

fondant I give it a little squeeze Emma needs a really cute little feet so least

detail the better so I stick on the two pieces of orange fondant for his little

tiny feet now we need to add some wings so I made some yellow fondant and again

in a little ball then I squeeze equid quite hard especially on one side and

then this is when I put him in the phone blocks I need both hands I'm going to

attach one side to his body everything is getting really sticky

so once you have the little wings on you're going to wait for those to kind

of dry and then you while the fondant is still kind of wet you can peel back to

make little 3d wings some are going to look better than others and that's open

he looks like he's just got really big ears

okay let's decorate another one so remember cakepop goes down into the

candy melts first all the way down turn until you cover up

to the stick have a little shake on your way out

and it'll spin get any excess off

be patient the worst things for me and then when you think you have covered it

well enough it should kind of look smooth again it's a k-pop just have a

little fun let's drop some eyeballs on

we need a little beep

like a mini little carrot very cute

to your feet

and they can be all different shapes it really doesn't need to be super super

symmetry if you go to you know some of these coffee houses that sell the cake

pops some of them I just so like slapdash that I'm like oh I tried to get

perfection out the cake pop and you don't need to okay and then we're going

to get his little wings on and there you have your little tiny cake pop bird can

you see him and don't forget I'm not a professional I just do this for fun and

because I love it and I hope that you do too if you haven't subscribed hit the

button down below and leave me a comment let me know how you get on do you find

'Journeys of Faith with Paula Faris': How faith has helped guide Luke Bryan - Duration: 6:54.

Introducing "Journeys of Faith with Paula Faris," a new podcast featuring conversations on how faith has helped guide newsmakers and celebrities through their best and worst of times

Listen to the first three episodes now -- new episodes available every Wednesday

Here is News' Paula Faris in her own words, about the first three episodes. Luke Bryan finds joy despite unspeakable tragedy At the end of a long morning filming segments for "Good Morning America" and the Country Music Association, country singer Luke Bryan and I found an open table at his new Nashville restaurant

I'd been told he's one of the "good guys" in the business, and I was looking forward to finding out for myself

There's no denying he's a big deal. The guy is a megastar, host of "American Idol" and now a restaurateur

He's bigger than life. But the trials he's faced have been, as well. He has lost his brother, his sister, his brother-in-law and a niece

Honestly, I don't know how someone even makes it out of bed every day after experiencing that sort of tragedy

But Luke is somehow experiencing joy in the midst of the darkness. So when we sat down for "Journeys of Faith," we discovered the source of his joy

He has questioned his faith -- time and time again. "Why are we the ones that, right when it seems like we've got our footing under us, the rug gets pulled out?" What keeps him going? "You have to have faith that we're going to see [our loved ones] again

" Where would he be without his faith? "I don't know if I'd be really anything without it

" Robin Roberts' faith keeps her grounded Robin Roberts has been my colleague at News for years, but she's also been a champion of mine -- a friend I can count on in what can be a grueling and cruel business

We've always had a connection: We're both women of deep faith. And we both got our start in the world of sports

But I learned Robin was previously quite content sticking with sports. She says becoming a newscaster was nothing she saw for herself

In fact, she told me that "if you had really good ears, you could hear my knees knocking under the GMA desk" when she first started hosting the show

But her faith had led her to make the switch -- and it did much more than that. It has guided her through bouts of cancer and MDS, a form of pre-leukemia

Did she question the plan, especially after her MDS diagnosis? "There was this brief moment that I was really angry that this had happened, and the diagnosis was very dire

I remember talking to my mother. She said, 'It's okay that you're angry on God. He can take it

Just don't stay there.' And I didn't." Her mess became her message. And, on this week of "Journeys of Faith," Robin's taking us to church with her inspiring spirit

Ben Shapiro's faith is the foundation of his work You don't have to listen to Ben Shapiro long to know that he's not only a conservative, but he's also a devout Orthodox Jew

He's been living in an Orthodox community since he was 11. That means, as busy as he is running "The Daily Wire," hosting a popular conservative political podcast and touring the country for speaking engagements, he shuts everything down at sunset on Friday nights -- for a full 24 hours, honoring Shabbat

No phones, no lights, no motor cars. He refers to it as "forced family time." Yet, as successful as he's become, life wasn't always so easy

He was bullied in his high school -- thrown in garbage cans, pushed in lockers and tied down

But it didn't make him doubt God. Has he doubted God? "I can say that as somebody who was viciously bullied at a Jewish high school, the physical abuse never made me doubt Judaism or God

" Shapiro talks the Bible, bullies and that age-old question: Why do bad things happen to good people? Does he think the Bible is the word of God? "I still believe that the Bible is the word of God

But I also believe that the word of God was deliberately written in order to take into account human failings and deliberately written in order to take into account human reason

"
