Auto news on Youtube Apr 29 2018

Today I want to show you how to get more comments on your YouTube videos. And I

don't have just any generic tips for you. Today I have a real treat in store.

Six weeks ago Morningfame showed Daniel that the weakest spot on his channel is

engagement. So I threw him a challenge and said like get your engagement up as

fast as you can by driving more comments. And just four weeks later he really aced

it. I would even say he reached the holy grail of commenting. So how did he do

this? Well, let's find out.

Hey youtubers, Nico here. So let's find out how Daniel

aced the commenting. Daniel has a channel called Extreme Food Reviews and the name

speaks for itself. Let's check out a few seconds.

Bravado Ghost Pepper and

Blueberry hot sauce. Let's eat it.

So he got some comments like "Great video! I need to try that hot sauce". So how do we

respond? Well, Daniel realized one thing: Usually, we say something like "thanks for

stopping by" or "I'm glad you enjoyed my video" but this is really a conversation

killer, right? I mean there is no reason for the other person to write again a

comment on that, right? So the goal really should be to start a conversation or at

least get one more follow-up comment from that person. So how do you reply to

a comment like "Eww! Spicy cereal!" Let me quickly get you up to speed what

the video was about.

We like to, we like to mix things. We like to combine

ingredients. So this is ghost pepper and blueberry, so how do we get the berry up?

We can introduce some crunch berries.

This is disgusting. This is breakfast.

I wonder what color ghost pepper

blueberry sauce will turn the milk.

We are putting it, oh my god. In the milk, oh my god!

So Daniel replied: "Stop it. You love my

cooking. (Is this considered cooking?)" Well, that's a conversation starter.

It worked. Meg Larson replied: "cooking yes... it's ruining the sanctity of cerial!"

So joking around is always a good idea since Daniel's channel is an

entertainment channel. For a channel like mine for example it would be sharing

more information. That is always a good idea to continue the conversation. But

what about the comments you get in the first place? What we can do there is to

choose a video topic that is emotional, thought-provoking, controversial in the

first place. So as an example let's look at another extreme food review! Today

we're playing a game and we've got to match the slogan of the chip brand to

the fiery chip that it goes with. So the first one we have here. This is the

Ruffles flaming hot potato chip. I don't know if that was flaming hot but

according to the name of it, it was flaming hot. The second chip we have is

Doritos blaze.

Blaze le Lay's.

I don't like that. That's a gross chip. It's like chilly light.

"Wow, you guys are very brave. I would never eat any of these things..."

"Come on... I am sure you could handle the vanilla ice cream :)"

"Well, besides that fire fire fire"

Well, this is the power of doing something controversial, emotional,

thought-provoking. It really urges the people to leave their first comment. And

if you think that Extreme Food Reviews really lends itself towards doing

something controversial, well then let's take my channel for example. If I tell

you that YouTube tags don't do what you think they do,

well that is controversial as well and produces a lot of comments. So I wonder

in your niche, what is there working really well for you? What is

controversial, thought-provoking, emotional which produces a lot of

comments? Please let me know in the comments below. I'm really interested to

see how the different niches work there. And by the way if you think that Extreme

Food Reviews is all there is to it, no, Daniel can take it even up a notch.

Hey everybody. Welcome to Extreme Food Reviews and today we're eating bugs.

No! No! Nice try! Guys!

Let's eat it.

We don't just have crickets. We have three flavors of crickets.

Who knew. What's this flavor Jonas? This is salt and vinegar.

What's this flavor? We have sour cream and onion. And I've got bacon and cheese.

And these are some full-on crickets - it's not like cricket parts. They're really big.

Throw it up there.

I wasn't nervous about this until now. I think the

thing we have to... Do I lick it? No you have to eat the whole thing.

Alright. So I guess we clunk it and

dunk it. I don't know...

"haha very nice. I had crickets and scorpion while traveling in Thailand. I

feel you guys."

"Good grief! We haven't tried scorpion yet. That and Tarantula is

on our list. Our list sucks. Did I mention that?"

"I'm going to be honest, I would

and it lol. I did quite like the crickets though. Thought they tasted like bacon.

Scorpion had a mushy inside [disgusted emoji]" For a good reason.

So as you can see Daniel is really giving his viewers a reason to leave a

comment and as they begin to understand that commenting is fun, they keep coming

back to Daniel's channel and leave even more comments. And that actually brings

me to the holy grail of commenting. To understand what it is, let's have a look

at how Daniel tastes cat food.

Oh my god she's back. Can we maybe not fill the spoon?

I didn't. Okay.

oh oh oh my god

I have like a gravy to it. Oh now it feels like tire shards left in

my mouth. Now that the flavor is gone because I swallowed the gravy.

This one got many comments.

"When you said, 'it has a gravy to it' I actually started to gag

and heave for real."

"I used the term 'gravy' exceptionally loosely. It had a

non-nutritive slime that covered the bits of rubber they were pawning off as

meat." And now even two other people chimed in to the conversation.

"So glad to be a

gamer and not to relate to any of this video in real life." And a third person:

"haha" As soon as more people join into a single conversation you know you have

made it. Because we know comments on YouTube are not the same as on other

social media platforms. There is usually no reason for people to read the

comments of other people. But if you drive those comments, if you drive the

conversation, they start to understand that the comments on your videos in

particular are valuable and they start reading the comments of other people. And

ultimately that way your audience will grow closer together and that is really

valuable because your subscribers in particular will be more loyal to your

channel, keep coming back to watch your new videos and that is really for the win for

your channel in the long run. So that said my friends. If you didn't reach the

holy grail of commenting yet, well then I challenge you to do the same and try to

increase your comments as much as you can to build this conversation, to grow

closer to your audience. Well, Daniel really achieve that within four

weeks. It's not too much of work but once you arrive there you will really

lift your channel to a whole new level. A conversation with your audience that will

also help you to improve your video topic choices because you now know much

better what your audience wants to watch on your channel. So high five Daniel,

high five Jonas and Megan. I mean you are really doing a super great channel. It

was cringy, it was funny, it was super great to see all your videos. I mean keep

it up! It's so great to tell your story. My friends check out their channel. It's

really fun to watch. So I hope you really learned something with this and see you

next time my friends.

5 Ways to Get More Out of Your CRM - Duration: 7:04.

- Hey everyone, Jason Case here with another video,

and today's video is on five ways

to get more out of your CRM.

So, this is one thing I see a lot of businesses

investing money into but underutilizing.

So they're not using it to its full potential.

So that's what I want to cover in today's video,

is how you can get more out of it.

So our overall goal is to use your CRM

to its full potential, increase productivity

in your business, which will also increase sales.

So hopefully you're using a CRM System

with Marketing Automation built into it,

which will really go into helping increase

your conversion rates, following up

with your prospects, and so forth.

And it has a lot more benefits than

just your standard CRM System.

Either way, follow these five steps

and you'll definitely maximize its potential.

So number one: establish your goals

and what you want to get out of your CRM to start with.

So set these goals out.

What do you want?

You should be tracking your numbers,

tracking your KPIs, you should be

setting up reporting so you can track

how your sales team is doing, you should be setting up

lead nurture campaigns if your have marketing automation,

however detailed you want to get,

you know, this is a lot of stuff to set up.

So what you want to do is set your overall goals

for in the future, and then break these down

into baby steps, and that goes into step two.

You know, execute on this and set your

CRM system up to meet these goals.

So again, if you have big goals to fill this out,

and especially if you have marketing automation software,

you know, a lot of people can get bogged down

with all these different campaigns.

Well that's fine.

Set goals for all these campaigns in the future,

but focus on which ones are highest priority to begin with,

and just set goals every week to knock off

chunks of this to meet your overall end goal.

Number three: train your team on how to use it,

and explain why it's important.

So give them time too.

It's not something they're going to learn overnight,

but you have to stick with them,

and train them, and explain why this

is important to use so you can track your numbers.

Because I'll tell you, a lot of sale reps

are probably going to be resistant to this.

All they want to do is stay focused

on trying to go after more sales

and more leads, and they feel like entering

this data and these notes and keeping track

of these people in a CRM System is a waste of their time.

But what you have to explain to them,

this is important for

follow-up campaigns, helping them close more sales.

You have to explain the benefit to them.

And also if somebody else in the company

picks up the phone and has never talked to them before,

well they need to see the note history

of all the communication that that sales rep's

had with them previously, so it's not like

starting a brand new conversation

with this person from the start.

You can pick up where the last person left off.

So you need to really explain these benefits

to them, and why it's beneficial.

And again, give them time.

Number four: customize each user's account

to meet their needs.

So as an admin user, the owner of the company,

you're going to want a completely different set up.

You're going to want to monitor KPIs

of how your sales reps are doing,

your forecasted revenue for the upcoming months,

and so forth.

But for sales reps, they're going to want to track their leads,

they're going to want to track what their

projected deals are coming up,

they're going to have all different metrics,

and also they will want to have a different look and feel.

Maybe it's an admin person who's just tracking

admin tasks in the company.

Well they're going to want a whole different

dashboard and a whole different set up in their system.

So make sure you customize each user's account

to fit their needs during the training,

because everybody's different, and if it's not set up

to how they like to use it,

then it's going to be frustrating to them

and they're not even going to get the full potential of it.

Number five: make sure you have

reporting set up to track your KPIs.

This is absolutely essential.

So you need to be able to track leads,

track where those leads came from,

which marketing channel,

track it all the way through the process,

which email campaigns they went through,

how they're opening it, open ratios,

all the way to the point of sale,

how much that sale was, so then

you can track your return on investment.

So you can quickly run reports

on how much money each marketing channel

or channel is generating and so forth.

Also, have KPIs set up for your sales team and so forth.

This needs to be set up so you can

efficiently run these reports and

make it easy so it's not very complex to do,

otherwise as you, the busier you get, it's going to

be harder to keep track of this.

So it needs to be super easy.

That's it for today's video,

but I can tell you, the biggest thing is

training your team and making sure

the processes, and even creating documentation

around things so it's easy for them to learn.

Because as you scale and you bring on more people,

it's going to be harder to train these people,

and if you have processes in place

so you can give them some documentation

and training of how you guys use your system,

then that makes it easier, because otherwise

you're going to push them on it.

Here you go, learn it, and they're not going to

have a clue how to do it, it's going to be very frustrating,

and they're not going to be using it to its potential,

which is going to impact your reporting

and so forth down the road.

So either way, make sure you work towards your overall goal

of getting it complete, get it set up,

because I've seen way too many companies

only using a very small portion

of what a CRM system can do for the company.

Which again, is to increase productivity

and improve your sales.

So again, that's it for today's video.

I am a certified expert in marketing automation

and setting up CRM Systems, so if you need help

with any of this, please feel free to reach out.

I'd be happy to help.

Otherwise, we'll talk tomorrow.
