For me Cru is a place that I can come kind of take a break from school and
work, get together with people, and one thing that crew does that some people
don't know about is their mission work.
I went to Chicago because I thought it'd be a good idea to meet and get to know
other believers on a personal level. We went to a homeless shelter, helped with a
day care center for single mothers, and we helped with an after-school program.
UND helps us a lot with funding we have a lot of events in the ballroom, so
that's great that UND can accommodate for us. Without having Cru on campus I
wouldn't have the opportunity to go on this trip and I would not have had the
experience that I had over spring break.
