Hey everyone!
Mike with Alesis here and in this short
video I'm going to show you how easy it
is to set up your new electronic drum
kit. For the purpose of this video I'm
going to be setting up the Alesis Nitro
Mesh but the process is more or less the
same for all of our kits. Let's get
started!
Position the box so that the side panel
images are right-side up and open from
the top. All of the boxes on the inside
are labeled so you know exactly what you
have. Start with the box labeled
"Accessories." This box includes the tools
you need to assemble the kit - a drum key
and allen wrench. This box also contains
the pad mounting rods, the module power
supply, the cable snake and screws,
drumsticks, the user guide, and a large
printed assembly guide with a connection
diagram to help you along the way. Let's
start by assembling the drum frame. Open
the box labeled "Drum Stand" and remove
the pieces. This is where the assembly
guide comes in handy, as it tells you
exactly what you should have and in what
quantities. Start with the medium size
bar that has three clamps, holding it
horizontally. You'll want to think of
yourself sitting behind the drum kit as
if you're going to play it. The leg with
three connectors goes on the left and
the one with two connectors on
the right. Insert the horizontal rack
piece into each leg and tighten the
connectors using the included allen
wrench. You can add the other two
horizontal bars to each side and attach
them to the remaining two legs.
These pieces are identical on each side
so don't worry about messing up. Finally,
connect the short bar to the front left
leg. This is where your snare pad will go.
Use the allen wrench to make sure
everything is locked in securely. If you
need to adjust the height of the kit,
loosen the connectors on each side and
slide the bars up or down. If you're not
sure how high or low you need everything
don't worry - you can wait and do this
after the entire kit is put together.
Now that the rack is assembled, take the
pad mounting rods from the "Accessories"
box and insert them into the clamps
around the kit. You'll need one for the
snare, two in the center, and one on the
far right. Make sure to leave clamps open
for the module, hi-hat, crash, and ride
cymbals. Attach the pads to the rods and
fasten them securely. The snare pad is
labeled separately so you don't mix it
up with the toms. Next, insert the cymbal
stands. Unscrew the top and place the
cymbal on the stand making sure to line
up the tab on the stand with the notch
on the cymbal. Screw down the top so that
the cymbal is secure. For the kick pedal,
place the beater into the holder and
tighten it with the included drum key.
You can use either the felt or plastic
side of your kick drum if the kick drum is
rubber, like on the Alesis Nitro Mesh Kit.
The kick pedal attaches right to the
base of the kick drum pad. Place it under
the front of the drum kit. You can also
place the hi-hat control pedal under the
kit to the left where the hi-hat is.
Mount the module to the rack and connect
the cable snake to the rear of the
module. You can use the included screws
to secure the cable snake into place. The
cable snake is labeled, so go ahead and
start plugging everything in accordingly.
We recommend starting from the inside
out. You can use the included velcro
straps to clean up the cabling when
you're done. The final step is to plug the
power supply into the module and power
it on. You're good to go! That's been a

hey guys welcome back to part two of my
starting tips for scum no all these
steps are totally fresh they're not and
the first one but you haven't seen the
first starting tips I suggest you go and
check it this is aimed at the people
just literally just start to play
government though all these steps are
questions that have been asked and
comments or on stream that's what I put
them all together and basically to save
me able to repeat the same answers all
the time of anything and if it helps
anyone at all then create leave a

again later on now another one that
people keep asking is how do you open
cans of food it's actually quite easy
all you have to do is right-click you
can use a can opener you can use a stone
knife anything no take this click it
with your left click and go back up to
that left click whatever you're going to
use to open it then right click back in
a can and it open
simple as that um just something that I
actually struggle with it fast as a bit
complicated then just press eat that's
it there's a simple as that and I know
it may seem about overall complicated
for what it is but it's that simple we
just have to click the can and a device
to actually open it you got a can opener
even bearbie can use a knife still a few
keep in your successors as well so feel
that one and main if you do come across
cancer for just get two small stones and
make a small stone knife and do it that
way next is one a lot of people have
asked me as well no the crafting menu
you'll see there are different colors
red yellow angry and the boxes no red
means you have no parts to make the item
yellow means that you have some parts to
me that item and gray means that you
can't meet that I am you do have the
skill level know depending on the points
of your pet at the start it'll give your
intelligence of what you can actually
make and as you progress follow these
will start opening up as well no
that's estimate change father in two and
a bit more stuff added to as well fact
they've already confirmed asking the
case so just bear in mind before you
start gathering all the resources for
less make sure you can make it fast no
another quick one as if you are making
something and you think I don't have any
of these parts at all these little
buttons here give you an option to
change you can also change what is there
no c4 rope you can use anything to cut
you don't just have to use the phosphate
it's showing now I found another one
which is a quite a good example so that
the small provides bag if it shows this
if you don't have the wire click along
and you'll see you can use the Fred rope
and pry rope Hatcher Lord provides
hardship and a knife and a stone knife
so don't fake that's the only things you
can use you can flick through them as
well and change to try and use different
materials that's very key to remember
them because a lot of people will just
try to find those exact items and run
around the headless chickens not be able
to find them so make sure you click
through and just check that other
options that are available for that item
no that's one of my last actually quite
a lot and a surprising to be honest
people keep asking how you run initially
when you start the game it's just scroll
wheel and your mouse you'll scroll up to
go faster and back to go slower though I
change this map wise and change it to my
tab button to a fast start and choose
from a scroll wheel to go slower now
some it's quite simple but someone who
doesn't use that technique and a game I
suppose can find it a bit weird at first
and I suggest maybe trying what I've
done and use a table button to go faster
no I think it's pretty cool that you get
all your keys mapped out properly I mean
my map button there's one of the buttons
on my mouse so I can quickly get up and
ask to mess around
and I've also changed my first person to
e so I don't use a lot of the peak to
the right at all in fact so I've changed
it straight to there so map out your
buttons to what you're comfortable with
and because it can make all the
difference especially if you're are
fainting zombies know some people may
find yourself stuck in a mode where they
can't stop and focus in a zombie it's
cuz your own fate would know if you have
V you'll quickly come out that mod you
can move free range again but when
you're fighting like a zombie it just
stays directly looking at them so that's
one you keep on north I kept on a lot of
trouble that at first I didn't realize
that actually in has like a fight would
focus so always have V if you know
you're just gonna get owned by the
puppets or the zombies no another one
people don't actually know effort rains
are you fall into a river your clothes
get serious away and it can actually
humpy it and cause you go slower and
catch like disease and stuff so if
you're doing it wet create a campfire I
have fed you already on how to make
campfire but if you're a struggle if the
campfire and you can't use the drill
there's a lot of people Cinna can't the
fire drill works because your survival
skills and high enough here so you may
have to use a lighter instead now to dry
your clothes the easiest and quickest
way to do it is literally tick them off
put them in the ground next to the fire
like so just leave it all down on the
ground and it will dry all the time no
different materials dry quicker than
others if you were in a cub Kevlar
helmet that'll dry obviously quicker
because it's metal no don't try and
think you can put wet clothes or dry
clothes because the system and the game
actually detects that and the dry
clothes will become wet just went a bit
of Maine but again we're doing this make
sure those puppets are around your
players just keep waiting over there
what I tend to do is I press left alt I
was keep looking some assayed behind me
so I can see what's happening but I'm
still getting f8 to the fire without
moving it's also probably better to
crouch as well just to try and keep
yourself down if you can try and face
some rocks and one between your rocks
if you do it Nate some people might see
it and because it'll late so bill that
means as well
no no doubt you've probably seen all the
videos where everyone keeps showing you
they're fueled and how it's the best
place to get Lert in the easiest place
strictly as the best place for look
because of the volume but there's other
places don't put yourself in danger I'm
going to here feel straight away now you
see ramming the map bottom left there's
loads of these local military bases and
for real I'm gonna put them up and my
desk or the no instruments you can
download it straight from my desk got
there the link is below these are all
over the map then you tend to find that
there are little off roads from the main
roads no they are heavily guarded
however all the II I step to the same
route no there's a make in here but
we'll watch its route you can see is
runnin to the side no well that should

but this is get tactical gear and here
this is gonna have ammunition guns all
the stuff that you need to progress so
don't feel the airfield to only place
you can go as I said the map of ammo and
escort you can go and download after
stay just don't let the tick we need to

no chances are you're going to need to
be able to run fast and get your stamina
back fast as well no a quick tip from me
let's keep your age to like mid 20s and
drop it to really fun this will give you
the optimal speed and stamina to come
back no tattoos on to have you warm this
let's say it's up to you now come to
this area mainly in that too will it
bother I mean if you just starting off
you whatever you're running and
endurance up to quite a decent level no
I always put my Durance up quite high if
I'm just practicing or running under
maps or straight fine things no survival
put up high as well as high as you can
go because you can alway make sure that
you can
craft a lot of the things is just
survival element that will allow you to
craft a lot of that Shore Lord items
though endurance survival melee weapons
and running that's probably the key one
joy they have when you are actually
starting the game stealth held up as
well as you can because that means you
can hunt animals a lot easier then the
rest so just a little pointer for a lair
for fangs just pull them up to see if
you can do with them
if you take anything else up then do it
um but I should get into the game and
you start learning him properly then you
can start playing boat with us I mean
you see the stole things to be added to
this every weapons weapon flying driving
water cycle and and piloting ceilings so
it's a lot still to happen so as quite
that if you are starting out try to go
for those kind of settings simply
because you have to run away quite a lot
and get used to have the gamers I mean
if we go back if you see if you go to
that you're going to enjoy this is gonna
be terrible
so if we go to the next one you're
starting in late you do that much
insurance you can't do it's just
impossible so your character is
extremely important even if your
muscular well also a faith we can do
endurance I'm running because more my
salt equals more fat so just be beyond
that and mains when you're doing it and
you see your survival can come up
because you're more muscular but I seem
to find that I have it down here just
seems to work for me and because I like
to use range weapons etc but guys it's
just quite tap you wanna soak yourself
as time goes on and see what one you
actually prefer no you can have it
directly in the middle and just have a a
split of everything if you like so I
just have like every food just up a
little bit but see I personally think
you're going to have to run quite a lot
when you're learning the game especially
from the puppets so it may be worth
having a state we are you can learn the
game and see if they get away from them
so guys next if you're trying to kill
animals the best thing to do is try and
sneak up know your stealth skill Mars
quite a lot for us so if your stealth
skill is quite low chances are you
probably won't get it it's probably
better to use a gun B can use a spear we
get trained as a shotgun there you go
done so just chop up like so
very quick and to the hate the hate is
probably the most important part of the
whole famous reggae here

DEMOLITIONS GUIDE for Insurgency Sandstorm - The 10 BEST Insurgency Demolition Tips and Tricks - Duration: 5:10.
Welcome to Insurgency: Sandstorm.
Today we are going to look at the Demolitions Class.
I will show you everything that you need to know so that you start blowing shit up.
As a demolitions unit you can help a team in many ways.
You can destroy objectives in certain game modes to help your team win the game.
In the previous Insurgency title this was virtually required since players really needed
to throw or shoot explosives at a cache to destroy it.
In Sandstorm, caches can now be rigged to explode by any member of the team.
You might think that it will render the demolitions class obsolete but it really doesn't.
Pressing and holding F to rig a cache and receive a detonator takes time.
A person can get shot while he is busy doing this so it is not the ideal solution.
You have access to all kinds of explosives that can destroy an objective almost instantly.
Fuel trucks can be destroyed with a rocket fired from a very safe distance.
C4s or IEDs can simply be thrown into a room with a destructible objective and then detonated.
This will allow you to complete the objective without even exposing yourself to enemy gunfire.
You are not limited to destroying objectives as a Demolitions unit.
You can also destroy vehicles very quickly.
It's very risky to point your gun at an enemy firing a mounted machine gun from behind
a truck unless you're a sniper firing from really long range.
A demolitions unit can simply destroy the vehicle and the enemies around it with one
well-placed RPG.
It's much quicker and it is admittedly very satisfying to pull off.
Use the lean function to properly align your RPG for a good shot.
It not only helps you limit your exposure but it can also help you make a precise shot.
You won't be able to bring many rockets with you, so use the lean functions to make
your shots count.
You are your team's best hope for survival when the enemy commander calls in a helicopter.
Choppers can be destroyed using rockets that only the demolition class has access to.
Without you, the rest of the team are forced to take cover and they will have a hard time
stopping the enemy from completing objectives.
Always save at least one rocket for you to shoot at the enemy helicopter when it appears.
You can always use your explosives to kill people.
Aside from the usual frag grenades, C4 can be strategically planted near entrances or
objective.
Just make sure you are a very safe distance away.
C4s and IEDs have very big blast zones and you could kill yourself if you are not careful.
Mines can be planted on a road to stop enemies from driving along it, and they can be shot
to prematurely detonate them.
Incendiary grenades can be thrown into rooms or narrow areas to flush enemies outside of
it.
Even after the fires disappear the lingering heat is still very lethal.
The hardest part about playing the demolitions class is creating a good loadout for it.
The explosives that are exclusive to the Demolitions class have high supply point costs and very
heavy.
Other classes like the Marksman and the Rifleman have plenty of room to customize their primary
weapon exactly the way they want them to be.
You have to balance things out.
The AKM and M16A4 are great weapons for the Demolitions Class.
These 2 weapons are well-rounded assault rifles that can be customized for just about any
situation.
It's important for the Demolitions Unit to learn to control his weapon using cheap
attachments.
Even if you decide to go for higher cost weapons like the G36K or the M4A1, it will be much
easier to optimize your loadout if you are capable of winning firefights without spending
too many supply points for weapon attachments.
The points you save can then be spent on things like armour, carriers, pistols and, of course,
more explosives.
Here's an example of a loadout for the Demolitions class.
For the primary weapon we will pick a 3 cost assault rifle.
The AKM will do nicely.
We will equip an OKP-7 sight for 1 supply point to acquire targets easily.
To significantly reduce the recoil of the weapon, we will attach a foregrip for 3 supply
points.
We will pay 1 supply point to equip a light carrier so that we can have more ammunition
and grenades.
We will pay 1 supply point for light armour just so we don't die too quickly.
An RPG-7 costs 4 supply points and it is a rocket launcher that can be fired twice.
Frag grenades cost 2 supply points, which we can use to flush enemies out of rooms.
In case our enemies use chemical smoke, we will equip a gas mask since it is freely available.
All of these things make a fairly decent loadout for 15 supply points.
Now let's see what that loadout would look like if we know how to control the AKM without
a foregrip.
We now have 3 extra points to spend on our loadout, and we have many options to choose
from.
Extended magazines will allow us to stay in the fight longer for just 2 supply points.
We can replace our frag grenades for IEDs by paying just 1 extra supply point.
An upgrade from light to heavy armour will cost 2 extra supply points.
If you are carrying multiple explosive then it might be tricky to immediately swap to
your second explosive.
There is a trick that will make your life easier, if you double tap the button that
you assigned to select your explosive then you will instantly select the second explosive.
This will save you a lot of time.

Fetid Devourer Guide - Normal and Heroic Fetid Devourer Uldir Boss Guide - Duration: 2:24.
Hi!
I'm Hazel, and this is a guide to the Fetid Devourer raid boss in Uldir on Normal and
Heroic difficulty.
This little guy was made from the Discarded remains of lethal experiments performed on
LOA.
Titans are mean.
Like they didn't specifically stitch him together but they made the pieces.
The main tank mechanic here is Thrashing Terror and Terrible Thrash.
Basically, every fourth melee hit he does has got some punch to it . The thrashing terror
buff will stack up to three before he does the Terrible Thrash so you know when it's
coming and can use some mitigation.
IF you're running out of mitigation to use then it's time to swap with the other tank
while you recharge.
Malodorous Miasma is a DoT that healers should keep an eye on.
It does kind of wimpy damage over 18 seconds, then evolves into a Putrid Paroxysm which
shorter but much nastier.
Neither of those can be dispelled so just heal through it.
If it's on you, consider using a defensive cooldown to help with the end bit.
At 100 energy, the Fetid Devourer will do a Rotting Regurgitation.
That's a cone attack that will knock you back and probably smells awful.
If you stay pretty close to the boss it's easy to side step and avoid it.
The room has these alcoves along both sides.
Now and then a random pair of those will become active Waste Disposals, pouring down sludge
that will give you Malodorous Miasma if it gets you.
That stacks, by the way, which you extra don't want.
There's a warning when the waste disposals open, so just run out of the alcoves when
that happens.
If you have raid timers from an addon like DBM that will let you plan ahead.
After the waste disposal finishes, it leaves behind a Corruption Corpuscle add.
Those cast Enticing Essence and need to be killed before they finish the cast.
We only ever saw two so Send melee to the close one and ranged should prioritize the
far one.
If the Enticing Essence cast gets off, the boss will stomp over, use Consume Corruption
to eat them and heal up.
At 50% health, the boss enrages with Fetid Frenzy.
He does 25% more damage but takes 50% more, which kinda sucks for him.
Save your timewarp or whatever for 50% or later, and tanks will need to be even more
careful with the Terrible Thrash.
On Normal, that's it.
On Heroic, he gets a new ability called Shockwave Stomp.
That one's unavoidable, it does raid damage and knocks everybody way back.
If you position yourself between the boss and a side wall for that, you'll got stopped
by the wall instead of being punted all the way to the last expansion.
Nobody wants to go back to Argus.
On Heroic difficulty the Corpuscle adds also heal for 1% every other second while casting
Enticing Essence.
That's not very much, you probably wouldn't have noticed and it doesn't really matter.
But now you know.
So, that is the Fetid Devourer in Uldir.

I get lots of questions all the time
about how to bind in different situations,
how to get binders, all that stuff
so I thought I would put it all into one video
and make sure that everyone is binding safely.
Also I just hit 40,000 subscribers.

Welcome to everyone who is new here.
To celebrate, I thought I would do a binder giveaway.
Now I know not everyone who watches my videos
needs a binder, so when we get to 50,000
I'm gonna do a big giveaway of more general stuff
that I think everyone will be interested in,
which means you should help me get to 50,000.

But for now, we are celebrating 40,000
and so I'm going to do a binder giveaway.
The details on how to enter for that are going to be
at the end of the video, 'cause I ain't no chump.
Also I know you could just like fast forward,
but especially if you want to enter the binder giveaway
and you need a binder,
this video is like especially for you.
So let's dive in.
First, what is binding?
Binding is anything that you do
to make your chest appear flatter,
usually with the intention to kind of be
more masculine looking if we want to put
gendered words onto bodies which I do, we do all the time
in the trans community, whatever.
It's not always for trans guys.
Nonbinary people, gender nonconforming people,
even just you know regular old cis people
might want to do it for some reason.
Well today I am mostly talking about people
somewhere on the transmasculine-ish spectrum
who want to bind for a flatter chest appearance.
There are lots of different ways that you can bind,
most of which not good for ya.
We're mostly going to be talking about the best way to bind
which is using a binder,
and a binder is a sort of compression vest
that once again flattens your chest
to give it a slightly more masculine appearance.
Now I don't actually have any binders to show you today
because I had top surgery 2 1/2 years ago
and I gave away all of my binders to people who needed them
because I am a saint.
But I'll put in some pictures here and there
as I show you the different types of binders there are,
but before we get into that let's talk
about the other types of binding that one might choose to do
and why you probably shouldn't.
So a lot of people hear about binding with an ACE bandage.
The media especially likes to romanticize the look of this.
Do not bind with an ACE bandage.
ACE bandages are meant to sort of like constrict
and keep you know an injury in place or whatever.
I don't really know what ACE bandages do exactly,
but I do know that they are not very breathable.
They constrict your body too much,
and they're not even that effective.
Before I started binding properly,
I did try using an ACE bandage a few times.
I know, I am not perfect.
None of us are.
And while there were a few moments of bliss
where I looked in the mirror
and saw my body how I thought it should look,
within the hour the ACE bandage
had just rolled down to my stomach.
Like I tried wearing it to class a few times
and I would just be sitting in class
with an ACE bandage rolling down
and things plopping out and it was not fun.
Don't recommend.
The risk of it is that you are bruising,
maybe even cracking your ribs.
You are super constricting your lungs
to the point that you could have
temporary or permanent damage on them.
There's some very serious implications
if you're not binding safely,
so I'm going to repeat this all the time in this video.
Make sure you're binding safely.
The other method of binding that some people do
that you should absolutely never do is with duct tape.
I mean, does that sound fun?
Like that does not sound or look like something
you would want on your body for hours at a time.
Now in the past couple of years an alternate to duct tape
did come into popularity.
It's called K-tape, short for kinesiology,
kinesthesiology?
It's that thing that all those kids
who played athletics in high school major in,
but K-tape, similar to an ACE bandage
you use it kind of on injuries and stuff in sports.
I don't sport, I don't know.
But you can use it to sort of put the tape
and flatten your chest like that.
Is it safe?
There seems to be a lot of debate around it.
I personally have a lot of friends who do use it,
and it seems to be all right for them.
You know you're not gonna have
the same risks of the lungs and stuff,
but you are probably going to be really damaging your skin.
Not as badly as with duct tape,
but maybe still pretty badly
and skin elasticity is a thing
that you really want to keep in mind
when you are binding,
because the less elastic that your skin is,
the worst results that you're gonna have for top surgery
and in fact it might make you ineligible for certain types
or all types of top surgery.
Now I did hear just this past weekend
when I was at the Philly Trans Wellness Conference
that there is a new company out there called TransTape
that's basically making K-tape that's wider, it's thicker.
K-tape right now is like this thin,
so sometimes you might have to use a couple of strips of it
so the TransTape is bigger.
Maybe they're also manufacturing it in a way
that's slightly better for the sensitive skin on your chest.
Honestly I'm still pretty skeptical
about the whole taping thing, and important note,
the taping thing only works if you have a smaller chest.
So those are all the methods
that I very strongly do not recommend you do.
Well maybe K-tape you consider,
but the others do not use duct tape,
do not use ACE bandages.
Also do not use multiple sports bras on top of each other.
That's gonna be like the same effect of the ACE bandage.
That is just way too much constricting on your body.
Really, the safest option because binding is you know,
at the end of the day it's not that safe or healthy for you,
but the safest option is going to be
an official binder from a legitimate company.
Now I say legitimate company
because there are some smaller companies out there
that are gonna sell really cheap binders
you can find on like eBay and Amazon.
I did try one once.
Again I am not perfect.
Early on in my transition I bought one of those,
and it just wasn't that effective.
Maybe if you have a very very tiny chest
it might do something.
And I've heard some rumors
that maybe they're not as safe as well,
so I would just stay away from those.
Really stick to the legitimate verified companies.
I'm talking Underworks, GC2B and FLAVNT.
Those are the big ones at least in the US.
And those companies all have a variety of different binders
that you can choose from.
In general there are longer and shorter binders.
So the shorter ones are gonna stop
right about at the end of your ribcage
and those are really good, especially in hotter seasons.
Maybe if you have a smaller chest,
and in general just for being a little bit
more breathable and flexible.
The longer ones are gonna go all the way down past your hips
and that can be good if you also
want to compress a bit of your hips or back fat,
but I found that to be very annoying
to have that much compressing material on me all the time.
Most binders are a pullover kind of thing,
but you will find some out there
that are more like a proper vest
where they Velcro or zip
or maybe have some type of clasps on them.
I never really like those 'cause the zipper or the Velcro
just got in the way.
I prefer the pullover kind, but your mileage may vary.
For a long time binders pretty much only came
in white and black, but now companies like GC2B and FLAVNT
are expanding to have a whole spectrum of skin tones
which is very cool, because there are
pros and cons to the different colors.
When I was starting to bind, a lot of people told me
that a white binder was better than a black binder
because it wouldn't show up as much
through light colored, thin T-shirts
but I found that you could still see the white binder
under light colored thin T-shirts
just as much as the black binders,
so I switched over to the black binder
because I'm goth.
The white binders get real gross real quick.
They do not stay white for long,
so that was a little gross to look at.
The black one was just as filthy,
but at least you couldn't see it.
FLAVNT Streetwear also offers those nude skin tone colors
in a swimsuit version, and the thinking there
is that people who are comfortable can just wear
the swim binder and their swim bottoms
and kind of feel like they're shirtless at the beach,
if that's a thing that they're into.
I probably wouldn't have ever been comfortable doing that,
but I have some friends who have done
and they totally rocked it.
And even if you are wearing like a tank top
or a swim shirt on top of that,
this is finally a binder that is actually safe to swim in
because you should not be swimming in your binders.
While I've been saying that official binders
are the safest way you can bind, there are still
a lot of caveats that come with that.
Two big ones are swimming and exercising.
Now I know those are times when you're like
most gonna want to be binding
'cause you might be wearing clingy, sweaty, wet material
or you're in these hyper gendered places
where you maybe really want to be read as male or whatever,
but because you're being active
or you are getting wet when you're swimming
it's actually the worst places to bind,
and I know I can't just tell you don't bind.
That would be the safest option,
and maybe if you have a smaller chest
you can get away with that with wearing a sports bra
that will flatten your chest enough,
but more than likely you're still gonna try to
find some way to bind,
so for swimming I definitely recommend if you can get one,
one of FLAVNT's swim binders.
I think some other companies
might have swim binders as well.
The reason you don't want to use a normal binder
for swimming is that when it gets wet and then dries
like salt water, chlorine,
that can all really break down the fibers.
It starts bringing down the elasticity
and sometimes that can make it tighter
and constrict in ways that then
is extra bad for your breathing.
It's just really bad for the binder,
and anything bad for the binder
ends up being bad for your health.
And also when it gets wet while you're swimming
it gets tighter then, so then it's sucking in
on your body even more
and then you're gonna have trouble breathing.
And the reason you don't want to wear a binder
when you're exercising, especially things
like high cardio things
or high interval intensity training stuff
is because you can't breathe as much.
It's compressing your lungs,
so ideally you should not be wearing a binder.
Some things that people do is wear older binders
that have stretched out a little bit.
I am telling you that, but I am not recommending it.
Again, safest thing is to find some non-binder alternative.
It's really hard to just tell someone don't bind,
so I'm just gonna leave that there.
But all right, so you're educated now
on the different types of binders.
You are ready to go find a binder.
You've picked out the company you want to buy it from,
but oh my gosh the sizing.
They're asking you for your measurements
and you don't really measure that part of your body
'cause maybe you've been dysphoric for a while
so you haven't really bought something
where you'd need to measure it.
Fortunately all of those companies
do have guides to tell you exactly how to measure
to find your size on their site.
If you don't have a tape measure at your house,
cool life hack is get something like a shoelace
or just a piece of string and wrap that around
wherever you're supposed to for the different measurements
and then kind of hold it,
and then lay that down against a ruler.
And if you don't have a ruler,
most smartphones have ruler apps.
I'm really trying to take out any excuse
that you could have here,
because I remember when I was at the depths of dysphoria
it was like I would find any excuse
not to move forward with things that were ultimately
gonna make me happier and healthier.
So no excuses here.
And when you have found your size,
do not buy a size smaller
because you think that'll bind even better.
The binders are doing enough on their own,
and if you get a size smaller,
you probably won't even be able to get it on your body
'cause next thing is when you get the binder,
the first couple of times you put it on,
especially that first time it is going to be
super super hard to actually get it on.
It'll stretch out as you go.
You know after maybe three to five times of wearing it,
it'll be a little bit better
but that first time, I mean you're just gonna,
like you'll get it stuck somewhere.
If you are out to anyone else
and can maybe have a buddy around just to either help you
or stand outside the door and be like you okay?
And it's gonna be just as hard to take off
the first couple of times.
A good tip is to maybe step into it,
roll it all the way up your body
instead of trying to put it over,
and then once it's stretched out a bit
then you can just start putting it on normally.
Also it is very important that
for the first several days you're wearing it,
especially if it's your first binder ever,
only wear it for like an hour or two each day.
You really need to ease into it.
Your body is not used to binding if it's your first time,
but also the binder is brand new
and it needs to stretch out a little bit.
And once you have stretched it out,
never wear it for more than eight hours in a day.
That should be enough to get you through school or work.
If you have a longer day, I would recommend
maybe at some point try to go into a bathroom
and take it off for a little bit just to breathe,
but eight hours is really the maximum
that you want to be wearing it.
When you wear your binder too much,
you are risking some of those same things
that you're risking when you bind incorrectly.
So that is things like damaging your ribs,
damaging your lungs, decreasing that skin elasticity.
It's tough, I know.
Everything about being trans is just like balancing things,
but moving on.
So you have a new binder.
You've been wearing it for a couple of days.
All is going well, but you kind of noticed
you're starting to stink.
It's time to wash your binder.
You don't really want to use a washer and dryer.
The machine washing will start to sort of
break down again the elasticity
and just structure of the binder.
A dryer might shrink it, which is really bad.
You don't want that to happen.
So the best thing that you can do
is just put a little bit of detergent into your sink,
fill up your sink, and let the binder sit in there
for I don't know, half hour, hour,
and then air dry it.
I know if you have roommates or maybe you live
with your family and they don't know that you're binding,
that might be hard to just leave a binder
in the middle of the bathroom all day.
So something that you can do is actually
just wash it in the shower with you.
Not like while you're wearing it,
just as you're showering bring in your binder.
Do a little bit of laundry while you shower.
Where you might hang it up to dry
inconspicuously I'm not really sure.
You'll have to figure that one out on your own.
Closet?
I don't know.
In an ideal world you'd probably be washing it every day,
every other day, but at least do like once a week.
You know, it's right on your chest and your back
and you're super sweaty
and it's one of the grossest
articles of clothing you're gonna be wearing
and you're gonna probably wear it every day.
Oh and on that note about it being sweaty,
it is so hard to get off when you are sweaty
or if you've been swimming with a proper swim binder
and it's wet, it's like oh my gosh it is so hard to get off
so just know that,
and some of the things that you can maybe do
is put some baby powder on.
Just to prevent a little bit of the sweating.
Now another thing I get asked about
with binders is how do you explain
that you're wearing a binder, that your chest is flatter,
or how do you hide it?
So if you are not out as trans or nonbinary
or what have you yet, and people notice
your chest is flatter, what do you do then?
It depends on what your chest might have looked like
before I guess, and what your relationship
with these people is.
I pretty much just said I lost some weight just there,
and I prefer sports bras now.
I don't think too many people bought that completely.
That was the best I had.
Maybe it's gonna be a good opportunity
to be open with some people about the fact
that you're kind of playing
and exploring with your gender expression.
Now if you are stealth and don't want people
to see your binder because you just want them
to think that you have a naturally flat chest,
the biggest things that you can do are layer clothing.
Button ups are really good whether it's as layered
over a T-shirt or something or just by themself.
Anything that's a little bit looser like that
is gonna hide some of the binder seams
and just overall make you look flatter.
Now the last thing that people always wonder
is how can I get a binder if my family
doesn't approve of me having a binder
or if I can't afford it?
So if your family doesn't approve
and you need to get a binder on the sly,
and let's say that you don't have your own
debit or credit card or maybe your parents
have access to your bank statements
so they could see what you're buying,
go to a grocery store or something like that
and get one of those Visa gift cards.
So you can pay cash for that Visa gift card,
and it comes with a number on it
so you can use it for online purchases
just like a credit card.
So get you one of those,
and then use that to order your binder.
Most of these companies do deliver in discreet packaging,
but if you're still you know thinking
that your parents might open it or something,
ask a friend or any trusted individual
if you can have the binder delivered to them instead.

7-Day Trip from Tokyo to Kyoto: Episode 1 | Japan's New Golden Route | japan-guide.com - Duration: 8:16.
Tokyo and Kyoto are two of Japan's most popular tourist destinations and are commonly
traveled between via the Tokaido Shinkansen along what has become known as Japan's 'Golden Route',
stretching along the main island's relatively urbanized Pacific Coast.
For this trip we thought we'd do things a little differently, instead taking advantage
of the recent extension of the Hokuriku Shinkansen to reach Kyoto from Tokyo via the Sea of Japan
coast along this 'New Golden Route'.
The aim of our journey is to experience a different, more tranquil side of Japan full
of natural beauty and rich culture, and to partake in some memorable experiences along
the way that are different those found along the more populated southern route.
The entire trip will take seven days in which we'll cover 11 prefectures in total, presenting
our journey over three episodes.
A great way to travel along the New Golden Route is by using the Hokuriku Arch Pass,
a 7-day pass exclusively available to oversea tourists that allows for unlimited use of
all the JR lines shown on the map including the Hokuriku Shinkansen.
Episode one of this series will document our journey from the bustling metropolis of Tokyo
into Japan's interior.
So join me, Sam Evans, as we travel from Tokyo to Kyoto along Japan's New Golden Route.
Day 1
We'll begin our journey by checking out a couple of Tokyo's popular sites before
heading on to Saitama Prefecture and the Omiya Bonsai Village as well as the Railway Museum.
Come late afternoon, we will head up to Gunma Prefecture, to end our day in Ikaho Onsen,
a historic hot spring town.
It's the first day of our seven day tour from Tokyo to Kyoto, and what better place
to start it than at the magnificent SkyTree.
Its 634 meters tall and its the world's tallest communications tower.
I cannot wait to go and check it out.
Let's go!
At 350 meters above street level, the Tembo Observation deck allows visitors stunning,
panoramic views of Tokyo, with Mount Fuji even visible on clear days.
The lower levels of the huge complex house a variety of shops and restaurants giving
the Skytree something for everyone.
From the Skytree we take a bus to Tokyo Station and walk to the Imperial Palace.
Before we head on with our trip we've got a little bit of time so we made the short
walk from Tokyo Station to the Imperial Palace, the home of the japanese imperial family.
Not only is it a great place to stroll in the midst of royalty, there's also some
pretty good photo opportunities too.
From Tokyo we take the Shinkansen to Omiya, where we'll transfer to the JR Utsunomiya
Line to Toro Station and head to the Bonsai Village.
We are at the Omiya Bonsai Art Museum which opened in 2010 and is a beautiful addition
to the Bonsai Village.
Inside there is a permanent exhibition which educates on the History and other aspects
of Bonsai, whilst outside in the garden, where we are now, visitors can admire a variety
of different trees and its generally a very pleasant place to be.
Not far from the bonsai village stands another of Saitama's popular attractions: the Railway
Museum.
We're at the railway museum in Saitama one of the largest railway museums in all of Japan
Among its other impressive features this place boasts an abundance of retired trains and
is a must for train lovers.
It's now time to take Hokuriku Shinkansen to eastern Japan's hot spring mecca Gunma Prefecture,
where we'll be staying at Ikaho Onsen, an old hot spring town known for its iconic stone
staircase that bisects the town as it climbs hillside.
After an amazing first day here we are at Ikaho onsen in this beautiful ryokan.
Where among other things we are going to enjoy a delicious looking traditional japanese meal,
a relaxing outdoor bath as well as an exploration to see what this town has to offer.
Day 2
After a traditional ryokan breakfast it's time to head on to Nagano Prefecture where
we'll first pay a visit to the famous Snow Monkey Park.
Following this we'll make our way to the nearby town of Shibu Onsen where we'll explore
and stay the night.
From Nagano Station we take an express bus to the Snow Monkey Park bus stop from where
the monkeys are about a 30 minute hike along a gentle forest trail.
We're here in the Jigokudani Monkey park where visitors can see the Japanese macaque
in its natural environment.
Now the park comes into its own in winter when snow typically covers the ground and
monkeys can be seen bathing in the park's hot spring.
But as you can see any time of the year is a good time to come and see the monkeys.
It's seems like it's a bit of a hard life being a monkey.
After our fun at the monkey park this afternoon, we have arrived in the nearby Shibu Onsen, an attractive
and historical onsen town known among other things for its nine bath houses like this one.
Now, the ryokan in which we will be spending the night has given us this!
Which is a master key to all of nine of them.
So right now, I cant wait to get exploring because this place just seems great.
Nothing like a foot bath after a day of exploration.
Another evening, another delicious looking ryokan meal.
Now tomorrow we are going to move over to Niigata prefecture where we will start the
day with a bike ride along the coast, but for now let's eat because I'm starving.
So in true Japanese style: kanpai!
And with that, the first part of this incredible journey has come to an end.

feistiest campaigns of this sleepy primary season.

I think is a very disingenuous thing.
(Zakim) These are relevant issues
that people in Massachusetts should know
about and because it's the first time in
24 years they really have a choice in a
campaign in this race they should know (fades out)
(Narrator) Politically astute yet sometimes
enigmatic incumbent Bill Galvin is
facing his first primary challenge in a
dozen years. Three-term Boston City
Councilor Josh Zakim is looking to send
Galvin - who's held the job since 1995 -- into
retirement.
Secretaries tend to stay in office for a
long time. Since 1971 only four
individuals have held the office. Nine
different people have served as governor
over the same period of time
Besides elections the Secretary of the
Commonwealth oversees corporate
registrations, public records, securities
and the Mass. Historical Commission. The
race pits two Democrats from different
eras and with very different campaign
styles against each other.
(Zakim) Thank you, Democrats.
Zakim's bid got a boost this past June at the Democratic endorsing
convention in Worcester. The endorsement
prompted Galvin to step up his efforts
to stay in office. He's hired a campaign
communications advisor and has finally
taken to social media. The 34-year-old's
Zakim has been trying to make Galvin the
issue saying after 24 years in office
it's time for a change.
(Zakim) He is very happy with the status quo
because he is the status quo and I think we have an
opportunity I think voters are seeing
how much potential there is for that
office not just when it comes to
elections but when it comes to
leveraging those historic tax credits
when it comes to making sure we have
government transparency and
accountability through the public
records division needs to be moving forward.
(Narrator) Zakim says Galvin is stood in
the way of election reforms including
same-day voter registration - a charge
Galvin disputes. Galvin touts his
experience on the job as his core strength.
(Galvin) One of the things that I'm most
proud of is my record of running honest
elections here in Massachusetts with
accurate results. We've not had some of
the problems other jurisdictions have
had and I look forward to the 2020
election as a critical election for our
country. I honestly believe it's probably
going to be the most important
presidential election since the Civil
War.

Far Cry 4 All Error FIXES (Detailed Guide) 2018! - Duration: 10:10.
Hello guys this is Miljus Tech and today I will show you Far Cry 4 all error fixes.
I decided to make this video because at least once a day I get a comment asking for
help to fix the error in Far Cry 4 game.
If you dont have Far Cry 4 and have wish to play it, you can click on card in top right

So without further ado, lets get started.
COMMON FIXES We will start with most common fixes that
people forget to do or they just dont know how.
This can fix most of errors so I advice to check if you did it.
1.
Run game as administrator To do that simply right click on Far Cry 4
shortcut, then click properties, navigate to
Compatibility and make sure that Run this program as an administrator is ticked.
2.
Update graphics drivers For Nvidia graphics users navigate to this
site, select your Graphics Card, Operating System and Language.
After you do that click Search button and click Download.
If you want more detailed guide about that click on card which is in top right corner
off this video.
For AMD graphics users navigate to this site, same as for Nvidia select your Graphics Card
and click Sumbit.
Then select your Operating System and and click first Download button.
3.
Update DirectX and Microsoft Visual C++ Navigate to this site and click Download button.
You will need WinRar to extract this files.
If you dont have WinRar click card in top right corner to check my guide about that.
Open downloaded file and extract it to Desktop.
Open Redist folder and open dxwebsetup.
Tick I accept the agreement and go next.
After updade has been installed click Finish.
Then open vcredist.
If you get message saying that newer version for Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 is installed
or message that asks you to tick Repair or Remove Microsoft
Visual C++ 2010 click Cancel.
If not, follow my steps.
Tick I have read and accept the license terms and click Install.
After that just click finish.
ISDONE.DLL ERROR: Now its time to start fixing certain errors.
We will start with isdone.dll error.
If you get error looking same as this picture this is fix for you.
This is happening because of two reasons: You dont have enough space which is at least
40 GB or Paging File Size is to low.
So lets fix it.
Open Start Menu, right click on Computer and click Properties.
Click Advanced System Settings which is in top left corner.
Make sure that Advanced is selected and click Performance Settings.
Select Advanced and go to Change.
Untick Automatically Manage Paging File Size For All Drives, select Drive that you want
to install game on and tick Custom Size.
Change Initial size to 100 MB and Maximum size to 3000 MB.
Keep in mind that this will be using 3 GB of your memory.
After doing that click Set.
If you get message saying that If you disable paging file or set the initial size to less
that 400 MB that system error my accours, but they wont.
If you dont believe me change Initial size to 400 MB.
You need to restart computer to apply changes.
NO SOUND FIX If you dont have sound when you enter game
this fixes might help you.
1.
fix Open Start Menu and type in Sound.
Make sure that Playback is selected.
Right click on device that you are using while playing Far Cry 4 and click Properties.
Go to advanced and select 16 Bit CD Quality Format.
This will lower quality of sound but you wont even notice unless you are using
high quality headphones.
Click Apply and Ok.
2.Fix Same as first fix, Open Start Menu and type
in Sound.
Make sure that Playback is selected.
Right click on device that you are using while playing Far Cry 4 and click Configure.
Select Stereo, go next, again next and click Finish.
BLACK SCREEN FIX: If you are getting black screen when opening
game this fixes will probably help you.
1.
Fix Open Start Menu and open your personal forder.
My is named Korisnik.
When you get there go to My Documents, My Games, Far Cry 4.
Open GamerProfile using Notepad.
Click on Edit and then click Find.
Type in fullscreen.
Change its value to one and save changes.
2.
fix Second fix is gonna work only for dual core
CPUs.
Come to this site which will be in description.
Click Download Now button.
Open downloaded file and extract it to Far Cry 4 installation folder.
Make sure that you tick Do this for next conficts and click Move and Replace.
Run Extreme Injector v3 as administrator.
I cant open Extreme Injector probably because I have QuadCore processor.
I will tell you what to do, but you wont see the video.
Open Extreme Injector v3.
Click on Add DLL and select dualcore.dll When you want to play Far Cry 4 make sure
that you open Extreme Injector.
MAP FIX: If you have black map problem this fix will
help you.
Open Far Cry 4 installation folder.
Then click Far Cry 4.
Go to data_win32.
Rename patch.dat to patch_fix.dat.
Do same with patch.fat.
UPLAY MISSING FIX: If your game cant start because uplay is missing
this is a easy fix for you.
Go to this link and click Download button.
If Google asks you Do you want to keep uplay, click Keep.
This file wont harm your computer, do not worry.
Copy Uplay file to Far Cry 4 installation folder.
Make sure that you click Copy and Replace option.
0xc00000906 FIX: This is one very rare error with very easy
solution.
Open start Menu and type in Windows Defender.
Go to Tools, Options, Administrator and untick Use this program.
Windows Defender is an antivirus which prevents some cracked games to work.
Just make sure that you have another antivirus which will replace Windows Defender.
0xc000007b FIX: Open this site and click Download button.
Open downloaded file and extract it to Desktop.
Open extracted folder, select all files and click Copy.
Go to Computer and then go to drive where your Windows is installed.
If you dont see Windows folder, go to organize in top left corner, Folder and Search options,
View and tick Show hidden files, folders and drives.
Click Apply and Ok.
Then find System32 folder and paste all files.
Make sure that you tick Do this for the next conficts and that you click Copy and Replace.
If you get message like me just tick Do this for all current items and click Skip.
SAVE FIX: If running game as administrator didnt help
try this.
Uninstall game and try installing it on other drives.
This worked for me.
FARCRY4 HAS STOPPED WORKING: Open Start Menu and type in Services.
Find Tablet PC Input Service, right click on it and click Stop.
Then go to Far Cry 4 installation folder.
Rename FarCRy4 to FarCry4fixed.

Guide for Labor day. - Duration: 5:53.
Hi all.
Labor Day weekend is in front of us, the end of summer, the challenges and refocusing on
the year because summer will be ending.
Weight loss as I have told you often is an emotional challenge because of the power of
food.
For some of you this has been a slow summer being able to stick with the regimen, being
able to focus, being able to deal with the pressures of socialization and friends.
Yet a significant majority of you have lost weight and the feedback I have is positive.
Labor Day weekend is a challenge even more so if you don't have a plan so here is what
I'm going to recommend: first recognize that anything you do as an indulgence is going
to cost you programmatically so you have to be willing to pay the price for the level
of indulgence.
Number two: it's very rare that people come back to me and say you know Dr. Schwartz I
went off the program and I would do it again, it was absolutely marvelous and terrific.
When that happens I say to them: because you're able to say it was marvelous and terrific
I agree that you should have done it now that it's over let's move on and focus on dealing
with that indulgence and how do we neutralize it and move on.
We have for many of you Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
Most people Sunday and Monday are the true socialization days.
My recommendation pick one if you're going to indulge pick Sunday or pick Monday and
you're going to break that day down into two sections.
The section that you indulge and this section that you control because being in control
makes you feel good.
Let's deal with the control part Saturday, excuse me Sunday or Monday are protocol days.
They're going to be fruit/vegetable days with additions.
How?
One meal: salad and a fruit.
The other meal: salad, vegetables, eight ounces of protein.
If you have not had protein for at least two weeks only fish or chicken.
Reason: meat is the most difficult of the animal proteins to digest and I'd rather you
didn't come down with some stomach distress because it was too difficult for your body.
Alcohol: I recommend that you can have one beverage either a half hour before you eat
or one hour after you eat so that it does not interfere with the digestive process.
So Sunday one meal and one salad and fruit, one beverage and the following two days if
it's Sunday than Monday and Tuesday if it's Monday: Tuesday and Wednesday you deal with
it by restarting with two dairy days.
I'm going to look forward to seeing you after Labor Day.

So, on the slider, i'm going to change the maximum to $24.06

VDOT: Snow Removal Service Vehicle Checklist Guide - Duration: 10:03.

This video is designed as a resource and general guide to help VDOT personnel effectively use
the revised equipment checklist while inspecting vehicles for snow removal services.
Contractors are strongly encouraged to inspect their own equipment and mitigate concerns
prior to VDOT inspection.
Heavy trucks are expensive to operate and some owners may cut costs by forgoing proper
maintenance, registration and insurance requirements.
For the safety of the public and contracted equipment operators, all equipment must be
inspected by VDOT before it can be contracted for snow removal service.
If a vehicle fails your inspection, it is important for legal and liability reasons
to document the reason for the failure in the comment section of the checklist.
For efficiency, consider inspecting all components visible from the ground as you walk around
the vehicle.
Then inspect all components accessible from the driver's seat in the cab.
Position yourself where you can clearly see the entire front of the rig including the
plow, as well as the driver's side of the rig including the spreader.
Hold your phone very still and take a sharp picture.
Move around to the opposite corner and take a sharp picture that shows the entire back
and passenger side of the rig.
Carefully inspect and photograph the registration card.
Forgeries can be sophisticated.
Look for handwritten or misspelled words.
Check the expiration date and make sure it has not been tampered with.
Vehicles registered as "Farm Use" vehicles do not meet regulations for unlimited highway
use, and are cannot be contracted.
There must be a license plate on the front, and on the rear of the vehicle.
Compare the registration card to both license plates and make sure everything matches.
The plates must be displayed properly, visible, and unobscured.
Take a picture of one of the plates.
Look at the VIN number on the vehicle.
It should match the VIN number on the registration.
Take a picture of the VIN number.
If you can't find a VIN number on the vehicle, make a note in the comments section and contact
your Residency Administrator or District Maintenance Manager.
Inform the owner that the vehicle will not pass inspection until the VIN number and registration
can be verified using a police database.
Vehicles registered in Virginia must have a current state inspection sticker, and the
receipt for the sticker must be with the vehicle.
If the sticker looks like it's been peeled off, or tampered with in any way, check to
make sure the number on the inspection sticker matches the sticker number on the receipt.
Also, check to make sure the receipt matches the vehicle.
Vehicles from other states must have valid and current safety inspection and registration
documentation from the state where the vehicle is registered.
Vehicles registered in states that do not require a yearly safety inspection must be
inspected in Virginia, and have a valid Virginia state inspection sticker.
Owners of equipment must have proof of valid insurance.
Write the name of the insurance company and the policy number on the form.
The required lights are headlights, taillights, stoplights, a flashing amber auxiliary light
and turn signals.
All lights must be DOT compliant, working properly, and visible to other motorists and
pedestrians.
When inspecting lights, stand back and view them from where other motorists would see
them.
All headlights and turn signals must be visible with the plow up or down.
Some vehicles have two sets of headlights.
Only one set of lights can be illuminated at a time
Check that the spreader does not obscure the taillights or rear turn signals.
If the equipment has a rear spreader light, it must point downward.
Spreader lights must not shine into the eyes of following motorists.
The vehicle must have a flashing amber auxiliary light that is visible from 360 degrees – as
viewed from another vehicle.
The light must be amber only.
White lights or amber–white combination lights are illegal.
The VDOT approved "Keep back 100 feet" sign must be installed securely and visible.
Mention to the operator that VDOT strongly recommends the use of winter-type wiper blades.
The vehicle must have an operational horn.
It can be either a city horn or an air horn.
The vehicle must have an operational backup alarm
The bed of the truck must be level and free of any structural damage or corrosion that
could cause the spreader to shift or come loose.
It should also be free of debris, tools or other materials that could slide out during
operations.
Check for major fluid leaks around the inside and outside hubs and around the brake drums
and calipers.
Also, look under the truck at the end of your inspection.
There should no fresh puddles larger than about 4-6 inches in diameter.
Tires must be in good serviceable condition with adequate tread and no major gashes.
Company identification placards must identify the actual company that is on the contract.
The placards must be legible and firmly attached to both sides of the vehicle.
If the placards are the magnetic type, inspect them for good adhesion.
The plow must be installed properly with no modifications.
It must be able to move up and down and from side to side.
Hydraulics are not required, but the plow must still function properly.
The plow must also be large enough to protrude beyond the width of the vehicles wheels.
The spreader must be secured at four points with straps, chains or bolts.
There must be no user created modifications such as attached boards for increased spreader
capacity.
Manufacturer supplied accessories are acceptable.
Have the operator turn on the spreader.
It should function properly.
From the driver's seat, Inspect the windshield.
There should be no major cracks, shattering or obstructions blocking your view.
The defroster must work properly.
If necessary, remind drivers to remove any clutter that may be blocking the defroster
vents.
Check the mirrors.
There must be a clear non-cracked mirror on both sides of the vehicle.
Dual mirrors on the same side do not count as two separate mirrors.
There must be a separate non-cracked mirror mounted on each side of the vehicle.
Both doors must open and close properly.
Both door windows must open and close properly.
All contracted vehicles must have an official manufacturer's gross vehicle weight rating
metal plate or sticker.
This GVWR rating must match the GVWR rating on the registration card.
No other stickers are valid.
A vehicle can only have its GVWR down-rated by the manufacturer – who will then place
a valid down-rated sticker on the vehicle.
If the GVWR rating is greater than 26 thousand and one pounds, circle the "yes" on the
"CDL vehicle" line.
Virginia law now states that military vehicles purchased after January 1st 2019 are restricted
to "limited use" and cannot be used for snow removal operations.
Military vehicles that are registered before January 1, 2019 can continue to be contracted.
