 Queen Elizabeth, 92, as Head of the Commonwealth has had to travel extensively since taking the throne

 This can often mean weeks away at a time away from home, often travelling by flight, boat and by train

 This also includes staying in hotels and local homes which can be difficult when away from home comforts

 The Royal Family have a clever way to make it feel like their home a bit more, as revealed in the ITV documentary Queen of the World

 Rideau Hall is where the royals will stay when in Canada, as it is the official residence of the Canadian monarch, currently the Queen

 Christine Macintyre, Master of the Household at Rideau Hall, said: "After a long day of travelling, there is nothing better than getting into a bed that doesn't feel like a hotel bed and that's what you're trying to do, to make it feel like they are in their own bedroom

" "There are special sheets which are used for members of the Royal Family, and they are kept aside and brought out only on those special occasions

" It takes over one hour to iron now sheet, it was revealed. Canada is the country that has been visited the most by the Queen, who has gone on tour to the country 25 times during her reign

  It was rumoured that Prince Charles and Camilla Duchess of Cornwall would pack their own items when travelling

 Including linen, they would also take their special orthopaedic bed, lavatory seat and special toilet roll paper, according to author Tom Bower

 However, Prince Charles responded to the travel demands as "c**p" during a radio show in Australia

 Yet the Royal Family all have their home comforts regarding the items they always pack

 The Queen has been known to always take her own hot water bottle, portable camera, a spare pair of white gloves, bottled water, and her favourite cake

 Meghan Markle previously revealed some of the items she took travelling when she created her lifestyle blog The Tig

 Despite closing it down during her courtship with Prince Harry, she revealed how tea tree oil, a scarf and laundry sheets always made it into her suitcase

 She explained that this was the best way to land and feel much happier and healthier

 Travel sanitiser and wipes are also a necessity when travelling by plane, she explained

Kate Middleton 'immensely JEALOUS' of Prince William's trip to Africa - Duration: 3:32.
