Initial D: Special Stage - Iketani's Car Guide - Part #28 - Roadster RS [NB8C] (ENG SUB) - Duration: 0:50.

Roadster RS, NB8C.

The most sporty model of the second generation Roadster, which made its debut in 1998, was the RS.

The cross-ratioed six-speed manual is combined with the 1.8 liter BP-ZE engine

that generates 160 horsepower at 7000 rpm, creating the best feeling.

The dampers were made by Bilstein and the controllability was further improved.

The exhilarating feeling was strong in the first generation.

This generation has evolved the car's ferocious personality into its biggest feature.

How to Actually Make Money with Your Passion - Online Business Guide - Duration: 14:07.

- [Seth] Hey guys, it's Seth.

And this video is called,

How to Actually Make Money From Your Passion.

It could also be called, How to

Start Your Own Online Business.

And you're gonna get more practical information

in this video than you would get

in four years of business school.

Now, your own online business is a precious treasure.

I'm gonna talk to you about how

to turn your passion and your knowledge into money.

And you've seen the skip college for success,

pyramid of success but I'm gonna make one tweak.

So, we've talked getting a Joe job.

Getting in demand skills, freelancing, things like that.

But, if you are in High School right now,

you actually have an advantage that most people don't.

Your parents are probably still paying

for your housing, your food and your clothes.

Your basic needs, so you don't need to work.

Your job right now is going to school

and wasting your time and energy on a lot of BS classes.

Now, once you free your mind up and you realize,

"Hey guess what?, I don't have to spend

all this time going crazy memorizing historical dates,

taking SATs, I'm just gonna get c's cause no one ever

will care about my high school transcript.".

Once you free up all that time and energy in your own head.

You can put your energy into your online business,

your passion and passive income.

And that's a great place to start.

The sooner you start the better.

Now making money fast without doing anything is BS.

I don't like these websites like these that say,

"How would if feel to start making

over $400 an hour without having to do anything.".

Well, how would it feel to have super models

come over to your house and give you a hot oil rub down?

I'm sure it would feel great, it's an absolute delusion.

These are the types of websites and offers

that make legitimate digital marketing

and online marketing look bad.

So, the moral of the story is you got to work hard

and be persistent to actually have success.

But that's why the sooner you start the better.

If you're ten years old and you're watching this

you are in a great position.

Now, I used to hear the word business

and I would tune out or I would feel overwhelmed

because it seemed complex and boring.

But it's not, it's just that school makes it seem that way.

Online income does exist, it's not a mythical creature.

But once again, you're gonna have to dodge

some terrible information from both school and the internet.

Now, Universities claim to be teaching business

and I don't know how they get away with that

because this is not business.

Principle of Macroeconomics.

Innovation of Design Thinking.

Global Social Entrepreneurship.

As an elective, Digital Marketing by the way as an elective.

Not one of the main cores of the curriculum.

And this is why Business Majors have

one of the highest underemployment rates.

Actually, higher than Art History or Communications.

Now people think this is how business works or starts.

You pitch some huge idea to an investor, like on Shark Tank,

you're trying to get seed money

to manufacture some product or invention.

You're trying to be some kind of business rockstar.

And business has been mixed up with celebrity culture,

T.V. shows, all sorts of nonsense.

And we've idolized a lot of the

business leaders in our culture.

So it leads to a lot of disconnection and confusion

and it seems overcomplicated.

And this is why, first of all,

a lot of conventional businesses

and business students just fail because you're trying to.

You're thinking in a very overcomplicated way.

If you don't know about business that's fine.

Because I didn't either, I was a Film Major.

So I'm going to show you even someone whose an Art Major,

has no business background, can actually get into business.

Which is what I have been doing for the past six years.

I wrote a book about film school because film school

was a ridiculous waste of money.

I wanted to help young film makers understand

they shouldn't waste their time and money with it.

I wrote the book, I didn't really know what to do with it,

cause I didn't know anything about marketing at the time.

So I built a website, I built a website in 2010

called Film School Secrets.

I had no idea what I was doing.

I took a course on search engine optimization.

This is from the web archive, this screenshot by the way,

cause the website is long gone.

I had no idea what I was doing

but there was this magic button.

I had a button on my website where I offered people a way

to give me money in exchange for my book.

My information, my expertise, my value.

So like on the Simpsons.

So I put the website up, I put the button up,

so people could get my book

and then someone bought the book.

$40 landed in my bank account.

And this changed my life, it wasn't a lot of money,

but it came in, through the internet, from a stranger

without any active work on my part.

It just was like, it was like, mind blowing to me.

This was passive income and this how it happened.

This is the business model that you

want to familiarize yourself with

that they're not teaching in business school.

So a customer on the internet,

came to my crappy looking website,

it didn't have to be fancy, they saw my book

which talked about why film school is not a good investment.

I had information that most people don't have

because most people that went to film school

didn't write a book about it, right?

So I had a sales page, I had a price, it was like $40.

I connected it to a payment processor

which was just PayPal at the time.

I think I was using E-junkie, very simple.

They paid the money and then they were sent an email

with a pdf download of my book.

That's it, that's the business.

It's not something that requires you to study microeconomics

or statistics or foreign international relations.

This is a business, a very small,

simple and brilliant business.

This is what I call a 21st century business

and this is how I earned hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Not just from this, from other products that I offer.

This is how I earned my first online check from Click Bank.

I remember, it was a $116.47.

Oh my God though, that hundred dollars to me

felt like I had won the lottery.

I had never, ever in my life taken

my knowledge, expertise and something about myself

and used it to help someone else and earn money from it.

It was the most fulfilling thing.

I wasn't just filing papers in some office

or delivering pizzas or doing some menial crap.

I was doing something meaningful and I got paid

and it didn't matter to me if I was making

$50 or a $100, it was awesome.

So business, this is all business is guys, solving problems.

Reframe everything that you buy

in terms of what problem it solves.

The dishwasher solves dirty dishes,

a car solves the need to get around.

This is all, you could throw out business school,

you could throw out business major.

This is all you need to be thinking in terms of.

Freelancing services, marketing/copywriting,

they help businesses solve the problem.

They need customers, they need people to come

to their business, a plumber fixed a broken toilet.

Police try to solves crimes.

Doctors try to fix sickness and illness.

Teachers try to solve ignorance, very unsuccessfully.

A personal trainer helps people being overweight

or stop being out of shape.

You could make a list, you should probably

just try doing this, make a list of 100 jobs or

products in the world and reframe it

in terms of what problem it solves.

I mean, even a flashlight, helps people see in the dark.

Humans have lots of problems, like millions of problems

in every area you can imagine.

So this provides opportunity.

YouTube started as a how-to informational video site

because people do not know how to do things.

Get a job, a spouse, change their oil, stretch,

get good grades, pass the SAT's, lose weight,

reduce acne, get clients, snowboard, play guitar.

So many things we don't know how to do.

There's three point four billion searches a day.

People are looking for information,

answers, solutions to problems.

Think about what Google is, Google is just

a big question box, of all sorts of questions.

And not all problems or questions

are serious or require a physical solution.

They're going to be trying to invent

the next Ipod or something like that.

Hollywood, for instance, think about that,

it's a $1,000,000,000 industry.

All they do is solve the problem of boredom.

The human psyche.

You know dogs and cats don't need you,

they can be entertained with like a ball,

or a flashing laser light but human beings need more

complex forms of entertainment.

That's a problem that they solve.

People's biggest problems are solved with information.

They're not physical products.

Think about all the, college really is the best example.

People, I don't know if I said that in the next slide.

College people are paying more money

than they can afford for information, supposedly.

Investing, parenting, we're gonna get more into this.

As I showed you, I solved the problem

people had questions about film school.

They wanted a career in filmmaking.

I went on to create a course that helped people

to get their film careers going.

I went beyond just writing a book

about why film school wasn't a good idea

and said this is what you should do instead.

Here's how you do the practical stuff

I started doing when I was 17.

You do this, you'll get results.

I help people all over the world

using my passion, knowledge and experience.

And I made money doing it, it was awesome.

That's a blank slide.

I didn't need to come up with a new invention.

I didn't need Venture Capital, I don't need employees

or a business plan or principles of financial accounting

or principles of microeconomics or any of this other crap.

I didn't need any of that.

I discovered, personally, a love of teaching

and providing quality information that makes a difference.

I personally think most people

have an instinct to teach or share things.

But the school system takes this instinct

and makes it intolerable.

I think that everybody has an instinct,

if you look at parenting it is very natural to watch.

If you have a little brother or sister

or a cousin or niece or nephew

and you want to show them something, teach them something.

It's very natural when you teach things that way.

But the school system takes that teaching instinct

and just kills it, it crushes it.

Think about all the people making money teaching things.

You got fashion YouTuber's and bloggers,

making tutorials on make-ups and clothing.

Her information equals cash, it's her business.

Through sponsorships or affiliated agreements

or whatever she's got going on.

She's making cash from her knowledge and expertise.

Many businesses, moving on to another thing, many business

don't even invent a product they

just sell ones that are already made.

Like a franchise, like McDonald's

one of the biggest franchises in the history of the world.

They kind of feed people quote, "food", unquote.

But to open up a McDonald's you don't have to

innovate anything, you just take an existing

model that works and set one up yourself.

That's kind of like affiliate marketing.

Now, affiliate marketing is with a website,

a blog, a YouTube channel, Instagram.

You can make money simply referring people

to an existing product.

Now, sales and commissions.

Classic sales is you close a prospect,

i.e. you get someone to buy something.

You go to a car dealership and the car salesmen

sells you the car, he's getting a percentage of the sale.

Realtors, they sell a house they

get a percentage of the sale.

Matt recommends, my business partner, he recommends

my course on digital marketing via his YouTube channel.

He makes a good amount of money every month

and all he does is say, "Hey, check this

link out, we do interviews together.".

But all he does is send people to his affiliate link

on his YouTube channel and that's what tracks

all of the traffic and pays him out his commission.

It's really one of the simplest ways

to make money that exists.

In the old days, to even open a business

you needed a building or a storefront,

$1,000's in rent, a cash register,

employees, inventories to sell $1,000's

just to open up for business, maybe a license,

it was just really complicated and a pain in the ass.

Nowadays, website equals your digital storefront.

Bloomingdale's has actual stores that

cost millions of dollars and they have a website

that costs a lot less and here is the crazy thing guys.

Whether it's a big business like Bloomingdale's or Best Buy

or a micro business like my digital marketing course.

Our websites appear the same size on your screen, right?

Bloomingdale's isn't bigger cause they make more money.

And they both offer something to buy,

so these are comparable, I wouldn't say competitors

but comparable businesses, their just as serious

and they are just as viable as businesses.

People do make money from Drop shipping

and selling physical goods that someone else

delivers to the customer, you can buy shit from China

and then mark it up in price and ship it out.

You can do that.

Personally, I don't do that, I don't like it.

It's just not something that appeals to me.

If you want a recommendation or a fulfilled by Amazon

course of something and you message me

I'll send you one but that's not what I like.

What I like are these two things.

Number 1, information products.

and Number 2, affiliate marketing.

It's not easy, none of this is easy.

Like I'm just gonna click a button

and $400 a day but it's easier.

This is, some think, a way to start a business

that is so much easier than all the traditional crap

their teaching in business school where you're gonna be.

Whether they're trying to get you raise money

for a tech startup or do something where

you're starting a small business.

A brick and mortar business, a real in reality.

Where you're having to raise money, get employees,

get a storefront and all of this other stuff.

You can do this stuff from your computer.

Using your information, using your brain.

Sophia Lucia's Guide To "Spreading Kindness" | Radio Disney - Duration: 1:06.

[SCHOOL BELL RINGS]

Good morning, guys.

My name is Miss Lucia, but you can call me Soph.

And today's lesson is about spreading kindness.

Spreading kindness is really important

because you're around the same people every single day.

School's already hard enough as it is.

So why can't we just make it a positive environment

and make it more fun?

I remember just walking to school,

and I was really stressed out because we

had our first test coming up.

And one of my friends came up to me, and she just gave me a hug.

And she goes, "You look really pretty today."

And I go, "Really?

Because, like, I'm stressed out.

I didn't even get enough sleep, and I

don't have any makeup on."

And she goes, "No, no, no.

You're beautiful.

Just relax, and good luck on your test."

And that made my day 100% better,

and it made me want to spread kindness as well.

Even just posting nice comments on someone's Instagram photo

or, you know, telling someone how pretty they look today

or you giving them a hug or opening up a door

or helping them with a bag--

Spreading kindness doesn't have to be this big, huge deal.

It's super, super simple.

I'm Sophia Lucia, and I challenge you to spread

kindness any way you can.

Be bold. Be brave.

Be inspired.

HONG KONG FOOD GUIDE // 香港美食指南 (Hong Kong Travel Guide) - Duration: 8:45.

Hong Kong is a foodies paradise but with so many options it can be a bit

overwhelming choosing a place to eat in this video I'll be sharing some of my

favorite things to eat every time I'm in Hong Kong. First up: Yum Cha. Yum cha

is more than just about the food it's a social gathering place where family and

friends can hang out or catch up over tea and a wide selection of dim sums

since everything is shared I like going to yum cha in a bigger group because

then I can eat a wider variety of dishes some of my favorites include fung jau

ngau tou, fu pei goon and cherng fun next street food now Hong Kong has

some of the best street food in the world a good thing is because the food

is on display even if you don't know what something's called you can just point

to what you want I got the curry fish balls to me this is the number one

street food that you have to eat here and also I have stinky tofu if you're

game enough try this. You can smell it from a mile away but it tastes so good

with these Street food vendors they're usually located on street corners like really

busy areas with lots of foot traffic so what usually happens you order, buy the

food and then you stand to the side and eat your food on the side of the road

it's all part of the charm speaking of street food you can forget

gai daan zai. this is one of my number one things to get every time I'm back in

Hong Kong whenever we gai daan zai my sister always order gaak zai beng too so if

you haven't already tried it why not give it a go

number four by Dai Pai Dong. Dai pai dong literally means big license stalls these

are open air food stores and there are actually few official ones left in Hong

Kong we went to a famous one in central called sing heung yuen to have their popular

tomato soup base macaroni

Next, cha chaan teng. Found everywhere in Hong Kong

cha chaan tengs are known for their quick and affordable meals. with so much

competition getting a certain drink or dish right can really help a restaurant

to stand out from the rest for example take lan fong yuen in central lan fong yuen

is famous for their see mud lai cha which translates to stocking milk tea and it gets

its name from bag they use to make the milk tea

because it looks like a stocking. another popular cha chaan teng is the

Australia dairy company known for their scrambled eggs scrambled eggs is one of

the standard menu items in cha chaan tengs as well as sai dor see, tung fun and your

standard tea, coffee and yin yerng just to name a few

congee shops congee is a rice porridge that is a popular breakfast option my

go-to congee is pei daan sau yook jook one thing I really like about pei daan

suw yook jook is the pei daan. It has this really interesting texture it's kind of like

jelly but it doesn't...

I dunno, it's just this got this really interesting taste to it i just really like

usually people pair congee with other items such as stir-fry

noodles and my sister's favorite jar leung deep fried dough stick wrapped in rice

noodle roll. Noodle shops we've come to on lee at sau kei wan to have

noodles for lunch at these places you can choose your own toppings and noodles

like rice noodle, egg noodles, vermicelli my personal favourite is to have yu daan hor

and specifically the thin type of rice noodle another specific

combination I like having at noodle stores is ngau larm chou min - beef brisket with

thick noodles and it has to be thick I love these noodles they're so good

there is also a tsim chai kee in central this store has been recommended by the

Michelin Guide and is known for their delicious generously filled wontons and

now a special one teng zai fun another Hong Kong experience is to get teng zai

fun which is a bowl of noodles from one of these sampans here they can be a

little bit hard to find but that there just happened to be one here along aberdeen

pier today these sampans move around a lot so you never know where they're

going to be my sister and i spent the first years of our childhood in aberdeen

which is also home to the famous jumbo floating restaurant and though we've

been back many times since this was our first time having teng zai fun so it was

very exciting number eight clay pot rice though it is

eaten all year round clay pot rice is especially popular during colder seasons

you can choose from a wide variety of toppings such as chinese sausage spare

ribs and chicken feet all served on a steaming hot bed of rice

siw larp pou. Siw larp pou are a big part of Hong Kong's food culture. often served with

rice at lunch, roast meat is also a popular take home dinner option as part

of the shared dishes or 'sung' as we call it in Cantonese

next bakeries one thing I love is the smell of bakeries in Hong Kong there are

many bread stores everywhere with a wide selection of bread to choose from my

personal favorites are the bor lor bau, gai mei bao, cherng zai bao, and sai beng. They

look good and they taste good too speaking of baked goods the iconic egg

tart daan taat. there are two main types the shortcrust pastry type like the one

sold at tai cheong bakery so tai cheong is popular and famous for their short crust

egg tarts and they have branches all over Hong Kong but this one here in central

is the main one and theres the flaky crust one which is my favorite

fast food chains there are many fast food chains in Hong

Kong such as dai ga lok and dai fai wood which offer things from Western cuisine

to Chinese and even Japanese dishes also international chain stores like

McDonald's offer many items that appeal to local taste buds some of which

are only available for a limited time like the sweet potato ice cream for

example last but not least desserts there is no shortage of yummy desserts

to choose from in Hong Kong some of my favorites are the typical Hong Kong

classics such as hung dau bing, dau fu faa, zi maa wu, mong gwo bou din and buut zai gou

so, buut zai gou, zi ma gou. this is a pudding with red bean it's sweet and I always

get the brown one and this is a black sesame cake

it's like a thick jelly texture

we're at yee sun milk company in Causeway Bay this place is

really busy all the time it's great for desserts and they're famous for their

double skin steamed milk as well as this is their most famous and I we also got

a ginger flavour steamed milk so we're gonna try that I've got a

cold one of the regular steamed milk and a hot one of the ginger steamed milk. mmm it's really nice. this is made from

milk sugar and egg white i believe.

The texture's a bit like tofu fa but a little bit firmer.

i think this trip we've been quite lucky in terms of not having

to wait in queues for our food cause the trick is we've been going to all

these places that we want to eat at at non regular meal

hours so we've been going to different places at like 3:00 for lunch and like 5

o'clock dinner so it's not the peak hours maybe that's the trick

Five by Five • S01E18 • TPN's Angel Guide - Duration: 22:53.

I've tried to make the script for this video entirely self-contained.

However it's viewing is enhanced greatly by having watched two previous videos of mine.

The Buffy episode guides for Lie to Me & Amends

Respectively.

Both are linked, in the description

During Angel's run, the series experienced two reinventions where the very skeleton of

the show itself was changed.

I mentioned in the last episode guide that there had already been a shift away from the

case of the week with Angel as the protective guardian, to a greater focus on our trio of

do-gooders.

But Five By Five cauterizes that change and uses the Ragin Slayer to reintroduce Angel's

mission statement.

This is a terrific episode, and a fan favorite for good reason.

I have a couple issues with it here and there but it reminds me of the Buffy episode Passion.

Like Passion the final act leaves me holding my breath, and elevates 5by5 to one of my

favorite episodes of the series.

In this video I also want to have a discussion about Faith's arc, and since Faith is a

former psychological symbol of Buffy's and works as a direct analogy to Angel, there

is a lot to talk about.

Pay close attention to this one and Sanctuary.

These are linchpins for both shows in what they have to say about love, redemption, Sunnydale,

LA, Buffy, and Angel.

Five by Five begins with a rather long and epic previously-on covering a full season

plus two episodes of Buffy.

A street criminal is being chased by three demon assassins when Angel and Wesley roll

up and save him.

Again, I'm always pleasantly surprised by the show's willingness to "go there"

with demon gore.

It's definitely something unique to Angel the Series.

At the bus station Faith appears in a reveal that always gives me a little chill, and mugs

a low life for his jacket and abode.

Faith already looks "Angel'd up" from the hyper saturated Buffy Season 4.

Her time since the church is wearing heavily on her.

In flashback we see Angel killing the Romani girl that would eventually lead to his reensoulment.

Then follows a bit of an odd sequence.

While Angel tries to save the soul of the ruffian, Cordy says all men are nothing but

surface.

Cut to where Faith dances up on a girl's boyfriend and he doesn't care.

Faith decks the girlfriend.

The guy tries to hit her her and she takes him out.

This begins a melee in the bar which Faith dances her way through as though it isn't

there.

There are a few things going on here.

One of which I'll save until the end of the video.

First the bit with the couple works as a sort of a pantomime callback to what happened with

Riley and Buffy in Sunnydale, where Riley slept with someone who wasn't his girlfriend

(skipping over the consent issue here - you can go watch the episode guide for that discussion)

and then Faith ended up hurting both of them in the process.

The dancing through the melee also works symbolically for her willingness to just ignore the chaos

she's created and acting the way she always has.

Just close your eyes and keep dancing.

Just keep dancing.

I like the themes.

It's just the excectuion plays out a little campy to me.

Slightly Benny Hill.

*BENNY HILL THEME

In court, Evil Bazinga and Lindsey are about to close a case when Angel brings in the reformed

ruffian and turns over Lindsey's apple cart.

Lindsey and Evil Bazinga scheme to get Faith to kill Angel, and Lillah wants in.

Lillah finds Faith at a bar.

F: I guess we can go somewhere and talk.

But I'm less of a talker.

More of a doer.

L: I think you misunderstood my intentions.

The evil trio makes Faith their offer in exchange for killing Angel and Evil Bazinga makes the

mistake of thinking he's in charge.

Faith politely corrects him.

Bazinga.

Bazinga.

Bazinga.

Back in flashback, a newly ensouled Angel returns to Darla who is confused:

What is this?

Have you met someone else.

"I'm not playing - I just want to feel something else besides the cold.

Don't you feel the cold, Darla?"

Darla kicks him out and Angel tries to feed again but his conscience won't let him.

Faith tries an old trick she'd used on Angel before.

*shooting Angel in the back montage.

It doesn't work.

Angel suggests team Angel split up.

His persistent early attempts to keep people away from him in the first season ARE part

of the point of the first season but, after it has gone badly often enough it starts to

feel a little Cabin in the Woods level satire.

Later that

day Faith tosses Angel a gun to see if he'll shoot her.

He aims for her torso.

Don't know why he throws the gun back to her, blanks or no but she uses it to try and

needle him harder into action.

201

At her place Dennis tries not to let Cordy and Wes in (I LOVE DENNIS) but when he finally

does Faith is there.

"I also believe you're a good person."

"What do you believe now?"

This may be as significant an episode for Wesley as for anyone else.

If everyone on Angel is in LA to atone for something, then the need for Wesley's redemption

was created from failure as Faith's watcher.

This moment with Faith gives him a real chance to atone for his previous failures.

Wesley absolutely knows he can't overpower her.

If he can avoid playing into her game, letting her actions inflame his anger, and just find

some way to get through to...

Okie dokie.

Instead, Wesley acts quickly and violently, without consideration of the cost.

It may be a fistpump moment watching Wesley stand up to the out of control Slayer who

has been taking a wrecking ball to all the people we care about, but it's significant

that Wesley just forfeited this possibility of atonement for vengeance, and validated

the toxic behavior of someone in a suicidal tailspin - who is trying desperately to convince

everyone that she is not worth saving.

It's a shocking moment and more important than it may seem.

This begins a remarkable scene between them.

A case study in dramatic tension and character.

It's incredibly tense but there's very little violence shown in the shot.

Everything is implied.

Hinted at.

The actual horror isn't onscreen.

And what makes it work are just monumental performances from Dushku and Denisof, along

with some pitch-perfect musical coverage.

As strong as he is in this scene, Faith's attempts to terrorize Wesley worked on me

completely.

"We've done blunt.

But that still leaves hot, cold, sharp, and loud."

Uhh...can we go with tickle?

In an episode that wasn't quite holding together for me, this scene is Giles' walk

up the stairs to La Boheme.

There's no looking away from this moment on.

W: "I was your Watcher Faith.

I know the real you.

And even if you kill me there's just one thing I want you to remember.

You...are a piece of sh..."

F: "You should talk."

We've seen Wesley's vulnerability in earlier episodes but this episode gives us a glimpse

of something darker.

Something...more vengeful.

It is also the end of bumbling Wesley.

As the series has gone on there has been growing pattern of rashness or impulsivity revealed

in Wesley's character.

*demon face

It appears that Faith is succeeding in convincing everyone else what she is.

"You're nothing.

Disgusting murderous bitch.

You're nothing.

You're disgusting."

The bad guy.

As Angel tracks her down Faith looks emptily at a shard of glass covered in Wesley's

blood which she drops half heartedly in the alley.

I wondered if it was to bait Angel closer with the smell.

But after making Faith a terrifying character through the torture of another character that

I already loved, Dushku and company did enough with one single shot to completely restore

my empathy for her.

It's kind of a marvel.

In the shard of glass we see the horror of what she's done and in her expression we

see her horror at who she is.

As Faith menaces Wesley with a blowtorch, Angel comes to save the day.

This is a terrific fight but what makes it work for me so much more are Angel's lines

during the brawl.

First he cuts instantly to the quick of her braggadocious artifice

A: This isn't about Wesley.

This is about you and me.

F: No baby he's payback.

A: For what?

I thought you were happy being the way you are.

He is SO incisive in this scene.

This could be one of my favorite Angel moments in the series.

The writer's using EVERYTHING that he is so he can save someone.

Wesley breaks loose and so does the fight.

But it's important the way Angel fights.

Never really with initiative.

He deflects.

He drains.

But he doesn't really attack.

When she lunges with a stake, Angel takes the fight outside.

"I wish I could make the world a better place for you to wake up in.

But the hard pill to swallow is that once I'm gone, your days are just plain numbered."

And as Angel strips away Faith's reasons for attacking him, her real intention starts

to become clear.

A: You think I don't know what you're after, I do.

Wesley cuts himself free and grabs a knife to jump into the fray.

But in the alleyway, Faith's defense is crumbling.

Before we go any further let's look at what has lead up to this moment to try and understand

the characters in the Buffyverse in a way we haven't before.

We've spoken at great lengths now about the show's philosophy and portrayal of the

soul as the moral compass.

And how it is the moral compass that enables us to make choices that might be contrary

to our own self-interests, as varied as those self interests may be.

In other words, the soul is what empowers us with genuine free will and the possibility

of making choices that fill our life with meaning.

To this point we've also spoken vaguely about the role that love has played in the

philosophical model.

Buffy's show makes clear that one of the reasons for her longevity as the Slayer is

the love she shares for the people around her.

Mother, Father in Giles, and Xander and Willow.

"You're the Slayer, and we're the Slayerettes."

But I've also suggested that the soulless and the evil in the Buffyverse can love.

Lacking a soul doesn't make you incapable of loving, just incapable of loving selflessly.

To put it all into perspective, it's useful if we take a look at the three Slayer's

we've met in the Buffyverse so far, Faith, Buffy, and Kendra, all three of which have

souls.

Loosely the three of them actually work quite well as symbols for Freud's three aspects

of the human personality.

The ID, the Ego, and the Superego.

The ID, Faith in this case, is our inner child.

The ID is the source of every impulsive desire we have towards loving and be loved, joy,

rage, and post adolescence, sex.

As much as we might intellectualize and romanticize our ability to love,

babies aren't born with any sense of duty or purpose, but obviously are attached to

and show affection for their mothers from birth.

Attachment and affection are just terms that fall under the broad umbrella spectrum by

which we define love.

And as we get older and become more complex, so too do the ways in which we desire and

show affection for the people closest to us.

Kendra, symbolically would be the superego, pursuing duty and the ideals of the Watchers

to a fault, almost totally at the expense of love, friends, or indulgence of any earthly

impulses.

This element of personality is not the soul itself but it requires one in order to be

present.

Which is why vampires are all ID monster.

For now Buffy is the ego, or balance between.

Walking the tightrope between the passionless Superego

"That emotion you're feeling right now?

That's anger."

And the reckless and impulsive ID "But we don't get to pass judgement on people,

like we're better than everybody else.."

--- "We ARE better."

But Buffy's show is about becoming an adult that lives with authenticity, which to me

means accepting an ongoing process of integrating the impulses of her ID and the demands of

her superego into her own unified identity.

In other words someone who loves herself while always striving to be better.

And the engine of that process is living an examined life.

"You must be so disappointed in me."

"No."

"Oh but I know you, Anne.

So afraid, so pathetically determined to run away from whatever you used to be.

To disappear.

Congratulations.

You got your wish."

"I'm Buffy, the Vampire Slayer and you are?"

"Before I became the Slayer I was... well I don't want to say shallow, but... let's

just say a certain person who shall remain nameless, let's call her "Spordelia", looked

like a classical philosopher next to me."

Becoming a better human being is not simply a matter of environmental coincidence combined

with the inevitability of time but requires a healthy (as in non-neurotic) amount of introspection.

We can't actually make a meaningful choice if we deny what we've done or who we genuinely

are in this moment.

And, to some degree, Angel's show is more full of characters grappling with that ongoing

process of adulthood than Buffy's.

"Then it's like I'm still being punished."

"Punished?

For what?"

"For who I was.

For the things I did in High School."

"Well we all got something to atone for."

"The council was right to sack me."

"What do you want Angel?"

"I want...forgiveness…"

"And that's the truth."

As I've said before, if Buffy is principally a show about growing up, then Angel is a show

about being adult.

It's important to make the distinction that just because Kendra and Faith work well as

symbols, doesn't mean they aren't also complex characters.

Kendra had human impulses but denied them in the name of duty.

Faith acts almost entirely impulsively but there has always been indications that she

wants to be more.

As when she fell victim to Gwendolyn Post's manipulations or even her subconscious dream

self giving Buffy the key to defeating the Mayor.

There is much evidence in the Buffyverse to suggest that a necessary balance for living

a moral, ethical life of meaning is love.

Friends.

Family.

Partners.

As the title suggests with Out of Sight, Out of Mind - Marcie's inability to connect

with anyone around her eventually lead her to turn completely invisible and, following

that, insane.

Her's is not simply a hedonistic spree of violence.

"The loneliness.

The constant exile.

She has gone mad."

Jonathan's inability to connect with anyone lead to his suicide attempt in the clocktower,

where Buffy tried to share with him the perspective that everyone is suffering.

Everyone is turned inward.

But rather than developing that empathy for everyone else and letting that bring some

peace to his own pain, in Superstar he made himself the nexus of everyone's focus.

"Jonathan you can't keep trying to fix everything with some, grand gesture."

One way or another, our innate desire to love and be loved must be grappled with.

But I wouldn't dare oversimplify as to say that the reason Faith committed evil was because

she wasn't loved enough.

We all suffer loneliness and loss and cruelty.

But certainly Faith came to Sunnydale with some open wounds and lacking the tools for

closure.

She makes no mention of her father but her mother is dead and we can infer what her upbringing

was like:

"Mom was so busy, you know, enjoying the drinking and passing out parts of life, that

I never really got what I wanted."

She also witnessed her Watcher's grisly murder.

She has a use-them-and-lose-them attitude to any men in her life.

They are not a source for connection.

"All men are beasts Buffy."

But she and Buffy were, for a few episodes, on the verge of making that necessary connection

for her, before the recklessness and impulsiveness which she brought along with her to Sunnydale

causes a morally abhorrent act that she can't take back.

And she reacts as someone with a hungry unfed ID might, unable to take any responsibility

for her actions.

"The bodies gone.

I weight it and dumped it.

It never happened."

Her denial causes a permanent rift with the one person she might've had a healthy connection

to.

And I think perhaps having been the victim of some monstrous acts in her lifetime, the

only way she can understand Alan's murder is that she too much be a monster.

With that, Faith tumbles into darkness.

Abandoning free will for the only source of connection she can find.

The problem is that the Mayor was soulless and because of that the mayor's love could

only be conditional.

In this case upon his being able to control her.

"Replacing Mr. Trick was problem enough."

- "Shoes shoes shoes."

He didn't hold Faith to any higher moral standard, as Buffy, Xander, and Willow hold

each other, because he was incapable of one himself.

But he did love her, and one of his final acts on earth was to leave a message, and

one last shot at Buffy.

After the body swap, in Who Are You, Faith gets a taste of a life she's always wanted.

A mother who loves her.

Friends who include her.

A tender intimate boyfriend.

And people who express great gratitude towards her for being the Slayer.

Her decision to go to the church is her first moral choice since Alan's death.

But she doesn't want to live as Buffy has.

She wants to be Buffy.

Because she…

Is tainted.

When Five By Five begins, we find her dancing, alone, eyes closed as the violent consequences

of her actions domino around her.

This scene is so reminiscent of another that I think we might interpret what she's imagining

as she moves alone across the floor.

And the name of the club is Club Hell.

A callback to another episode, Anne, when Buffy abandoned her calling and ended up a

nameless nothing in a hell dimension surrounded by victim's she couldn't save.

"What is hell, but the substantive absence of hope?

The tactile proof of despair."

But in Faith's hell, she is the devil.

The rotten and selfish monster, ignoring choice and freewill, because not doing so would mean

having to take responsibility for deeds she can't take back.

F: What if you had Buffy?

And Giles was my watcher.

Do you think you'd still be sitting here right now.

Or would Giles be sitting in that chair?

Or is it just fate?

And there's not choice.

You were going to be here no matter what?

Think about that stuff?

...I don't.

It's a hell in which she is the evil person she's afraid she is, constantly escalating

the violence with a single specific purpose in mind.

In the finale she regularly refers to herself as bad which we can interpret in this case

as someone who has murdered.

And she uses the same term for Angel.

"Come on Angel.

I thought you were bad."

And since she had a soul and murdered several people she thought she might be able to get

Angel to kill her, if given enough incentive.

She even tests if Angel he's ready to go all the way.

"You didn't shoot to kill.

We're going to have to up the stakes a little."

But somewhere inside, the spark is burning her.

Just as Faith story parallels Buffy going to LA to escape herself and ending up in Hell,

there were two instances of Angel attempting suicide because he had given up hope.

The first I pointed out earlier in Buffy Season 1 Episode 7, and the second is in Amends.

To be clear though, the weight of the soul may often be a source of despair, regret,

and hopelessness but suicide is still an act that emerges from our ID.

Which is why Spike is capable of attempting it.

It's an act motivated to remove oneself from suffering, pain done to you or the pain

of the what you've done.

Coupled with the belief that things are truly hopeless.

That either we lack the ability to affect actual change in our lives.

Or that we don't deserve it.

"Am I a thing worth saving?"

After Angel decides to keep fighting, his first real client, was actually Faith in Consequences.

"You don't have to disappear into the darkness Faith."

Think about the original mission statement in the first season: Angel investigations

we help the hopeless.

Wesley botched Angel's chance there but here in the final scene of the episode, despite

all the horror she is capable of inflicting on him and his family, Angel's unwillingness

to kill her, and to bear every brutal punch and let her beat her self-hatred against the

shoreline, is an immutable act of compassion.

Finally, for Faith, and after she's done absolutely everything she can to prove she

doesn't deserve it, an act of selfless authentic love.

And if she's worth that, then maybe it follows that there's hope.

After all, the episode in which Faith premiered was called Faith, Hope, and Trick, which was

a play on Corinthian's 13:13

And now these three remain, faith, hope, and love.

But the greatest of these is love.

701

It's complicated.

It's beautiful.

It's gut wrenching.

I love this episode.

The psychological mechanics going on are absolutely lovely.

And as much as I may have a complaint or two about the opening, the back half is flawless

and just emotionally devastating.

Wesley dropping the knife is one of the most beautiful and cinematic shots in the series.

If Angel lacked a Big Bad before, Wesley, Lillah, and Evil Banzinga scheming to have

him killed certainly cements their role in the Angelverse.

In this series we've been using Buffy and Angel as mediums for discussing life, philosophy

and psychology, but I believe it's important to make an addendum to this one.

As much as I think the characters work as interesting models for authentic living, they're

are always saved by another's love.

Angel is saved from the void by Buffy.

Twice.

Jonathan.

And here Faith.

And that works well in drama.

But the hard truth is that oftentimes, our suffering is solitary - our self-hatred, something

that we flay ourselves with from the shadows.

As I've said in other videos, part of finding the will to go and get the rock is not just

believing that there are things worth fighting for, but accepting that you are one of them.

In truth, I'm not sure that unconditional love exists except in our capacity to give

our own away freely, including to ourselves.

And whatever has come before, there is in every passing moment an opportunity to create

good.

That's hope.

Which has ended up being my reason to hike back down the hill for another go with rock.

The hope that in a day or so, I'll create something new that might provide someone a

moments peace.

I don't always, but it happens sometimes.

And when it does, it's enough.

She's like us.

She's a monster now.

She's an innocent victim.

So were we.

Once upon a time.

...once upon a time.

The Eyeglasses Guide, Part II: The Right Pair for Your Face & How to Buy - Duration: 12:09.

Welcome back to the Gentleman's Gazette!

Today's video is our second part of our series on eyeglasses in which we'll discuss how to

determine your face shape and skin tone, how to find the right glasses based on these factors,

and some considerations for buying.

One reminder before we jump in today, you can find the first part of our guide on eyeglasses

here in which we discussed a brief history of how glasses came to be and some different

types of eyeglasses that are considered classics in menswear.

So today let's talk about how to find the right glasses for you.

As we touched on briefly in the last video, there are some different considerations to

take into account when choosing eye glasses over sunglasses which we've talked about previously.

Unlike sunglasses which are typically only worn for short stretches of time, eye glasses

can be worn all day every day.

As you might imagine given this, finding the right pair of eyeglasses that suits your face

shape, your skin tone, and your own personal sense of style can take a little bit of trial

and error but it is possible.

Luckily, most of the same processes that go into choosing a pair of sunglasses also apply

to eyeglasses.

If you haven't done so already, you can check out our previous guides on sunglasses here.

In general, make sure to adjust your expectations to the fact that you'll be wearing eyeglasses

for longer stretches of time.

For example, aviator styles might look good as sunglasses but they might not work as all

day eyeglasses.

So how do we determine what style of eyeglasses is right for you?

Well, the first thing we should do is determine your face shape.

The shape of your frames must play well with the shape of your face and as you might imagine,

a pair of frames that looks good on one man might look completely out of place on another.

There are six basic face shapes that every man fits into, you're either square, round,

oblong, diamond, heart-shaped, or oval.

To find out what shape you are, you will need more than just a mirror.

Ideally, you'll also have handy a pencil and paper and someone to help you.

To begin the measuring process, we'll start at the

forehead measuring across from the widest point.

Remember, don't wrap the tape measure around the curvature of your head.

We're going to be measuring its dimensions as if it were a flat two-dimensional object

since that's essentially how it's going to be seen when people are looking at you.

The tape measure should only be touching one point on your head like a line tangent to

a circle.

Write down the number you measured for your forehead, it goes without saying that we'll

be writing down all of these numbers so you can compare them at the end of the measuring

process to determine your face shape.

Next, move downward to measure your cheekbones and then move downwards still to measure your

jaw line at its widest point.

Finally, measure the length of your face by taking the tape measure and placing it vertically,

first at the top of your forehead by your hairline and then down to the bottom of your

chin.

To determine which face shape you have, look at the numbers you've got and compare them

to the advice we're about to give for how to spot different face shapes.

First, we'll talk about oblong faces which in general are longer than they are wide.

For the most part, the measurements of your jawline, cheeks, and forehead will all be

fairly similar for an oblong face shape.

Smaller frames probably aren't going to do you justice instead you should be going for

a larger frame with some thickness to it.

Sharp angles and concise lines are going to add some definition to your soft facial features

and give you a more masculine look.

So in general, rectangular frames could be a particularly good choice for an oblong face.

Next, we'll talk about heart-shaped faces.

These are basically inverted triangles meaning that you have a smaller more pointed chin

in comparison to your cheek and forehead measurements which are wider and roughly about the same.

The best frames for you are going to be ones that even out your faces proportions so opt

for rimless or semi-rimless frames that are thinner in nature.

If you do want a little bit more thickness in your frame, focus on finding a frame that

points the attention downward toward the narrower part of your face at the chin.

Next, we'll talk about square face.

As you might well imagine, these are pretty much as long as they are wide and the edges

of your face are probably going to be mostly straight up and down or straight across.

In particular, at the jawline, you're probably going to notice concise sharp corners rather

than a more rounded gradual edge.

Since you have a distinctive and chiseled face with bold features, you're going to want

round frames that softened the appearance overall.

You should opt for a circular or generally rounded shape possibly with some frames that

have some variation in thickness at different points around the rim.

Next are oval faces which you can also think of as being roughly similar to the shape of

an egg.

Oval faces are typically longer than they are wide with a wider forehead a shorter jawline

and a chin that's typically more rounded.

In general, be happy!

Having an oval face means that you can wear almost any style of frame with ease.

If you are finding a frame that you don't think looks particularly good, it is possible

that you have a different face shape than an oval and you might want to measure again.

Next up are rounded faces which are also about as wide as they are long.

The difference between a rounded face and a square face is that a rounded face typically

has a narrower forehead and a narrower softer jawline.

To provide contrasting balance here, opt for something that's more geometrically shaped.

In particular, a rectangular frame will lengthen your face a little bit and make it appear

more like an oval shape.

Finally, we'll talk about diamond shaped faces.

If your face is widest at the cheekbones with a narrow forehead and a narrow jawline there's

a good chance that you have a diamond face shape.

With this shape, you want to focus on frames that complement your cheekbones but also provide

some balance overall.

Look for circular or rounded frames to offset the angles of your face and make sure that

they're on the narrower side so they don't elongate your face further at the cheekbones.

Now that you know what frames will complement your face shape, let's talk about finding

your skin tone to give you some ideas about color.

The easiest way to determine your skin tone is to look at the underside of your arm in

natural daylight, don't use artificial light because it might give you a false reading.

You're looking for two important factors here.

First is the overall lightness or darkness of your skin and second and perhaps more important

is the undertone.

There are three skin undertones; the first of these is warm which typically has a green,

yellow, or peachy golden undertone to it, conversely, a cool undertone appears slightly

bluish and the neutral undertone is what you have if you can't really see a particular

color or if you can't determine whether you're one or the other.

If you have light skin with cool undertones, that's another way of saying that your skin

will be light pink with a bluish undertone from your veins.

In this case, you should probably consider lighter colored frames perhaps in shades of

blue.

Darker frames will make a bolder statement but they might have the potential to be more

overpowering on your face.

If you have light skin with warm undertones, your skin will be golden or peachy and your

veins will give a greenish undertone.

In this case, you'll still want to consider lighter frames but they should be in tortoiseshell,

brown, amber, or green, for example, we can use me.

I have light skin with warm undertones and my glasses are amber with slight suggestions

of tortoiseshell patterning here and there.

Again, dark frames are going to make a bold statement in this case, so you can wear them

but exercise caution if you do.

If you have medium colored skin with cool undertones, your skin will generally be pink

and the undertones will be blue from your veins.

In this case, frames in medium to darker shades of red, green, blue, or brown, will probably

look good on you.

If you have darker skin with cool undertones, dark frames are going to work well for you,

black, dark Browns, gunmetal, or deep blues, would be good options.

For a more fashion-forward approach, you can experiment with lighter frames which are going

to give you a more high contrast look.

Finally, if you have darker skin with warm undertones, metal frames, dark Browns, cognacs,

and amber shades, are the ones that are going to work best for you.

Okay so we've established the shapes and colors that will look best for you but the question

still remains, what's the best way to buy a pair of glasses?

These days there's an active conversation going on about whether or not it's best to

buy prescription eyeglasses from an online retailer.

With the rise of game-changing brands like Warby Parker that are selling hip modern frames

with a user-friendly interface, the industry overall has evolved.

So here are a few pros and cons on whether or not you should buy in-store or online.

The biggest advantage to buying a pair of glasses in store is that the professional

staff there has been well trained.

They'll be able to assist you in all of the different elements of finding the right pair

including frames, lenses, coatings, and so on.

If you've bought a pair of glasses in-store, repairing or refitting broken or damaged glasses

is easier too.

You can just take them back to the same place you bought them and you can sometimes even

accomplish this same day which is pretty convenient.

There are a few cons to buying glasses in-store too, however.

The first of these is that the overall selection might be a little bit more limited.

You don't have a whole internet warehouse in front of you.

Optical stores are still businesses after all and therefore, they still have the same

profit motives as any other business.

They might try to sell you an overly expensive pair of glasses.

On a similar note, the pricing can lack transparency.

You might have to make a lot of decisions and choices before being told a price which

can make comparison shopping longer and more tedious.

Conversely, one of the biggest pluses to online shopping is that prices are more readily transparent.

Also, competition between these online retailers has resulted in prices being a lot more economical

for the consumer.

Generally, it's much easier to comparison shop between online retailers as you just

have to click through a couple of web pages rather than going store to store.

One of the biggest drawbacks to shopping online is that you won't have any direct interaction

with an optician or trained eyeglass fitter.

So if your glasses happen to get broken or imaged it may take longer to send them back

and get them refitted.

In conclusion, once you find a pair of glasses that are right for both your face shape and

your skin tone, they're going to suit your own individual personality and they will be

a great fashion statement.

As we said in the last video, glasses are something to experiment with and we hope you'll

have fun with them.

are suffering, there you will realize the importance of life which you have and others

are struggling for every breath of it.

The best thing, go and spend your time with a child, a kid, literally, they will teach

you how to live in a present moment.

And If you still feels like giving up your life, then watch this

suppose tomorrow you lost half your money and you're feeling depressed and your mind

says I want to die.

Close your mouth, hold your nose like this for two minutes, your body says to hell with

your money, I want to live (Laughter/Applause).

Tomorrow you found your lll… love affair collapsed and your mind says I want to die,

check (Sadhguru blocks his nose and closes mouth) (Laughter).

The life within you says to hell with your love affair, I want to live.

You che…

every time you feel little suicidal or depressed just check (Again blocks mouth and nose),

the life within you says to hell with all these things, I want to live.

Whatever situations you are going through or have gone through, just don't keep things

to yourself, share it with other person, if not possible, write down all your emotions,

all your miseries, all the conditions, all your situation on a piece of paper but release

your mind from this burden.

Instead of finding ways to end up your life, better find the real purpose of your life.

GUIDE: How to make an easy terrarium? - Duration: 11:16.

- Hey welcome everyone, Zilla here... - And Emila.

And Emilla. But she want to stay off camera cuz'...

today...

She's potatoing herself in the bed.

- 'Cause who will prohibit it to anyone? - That's furlough.

That's furlough what right is right.

Anyway together with EMILLA we will...

make mini enclosures.

From this... here by funny boxes.

I had them somehere. Oh here they are. I have 'em, I have 'em.

You could have seen them on my fan page like I promised...

that I will make those. Specially for You.

It's nothing extraordinary, but You can purchase this kind of box in...

In "Leee Luuuaaaa Leeeee Leeeę".

- And yeah... - Weee wee we weł. - Weee wee we weł.

And...

And buying this in "Leee Luuuaaaa Leeeee Leeeę" .

You have a guaranted that two of them will fit Your shelf. Like it did for me.

Anyway today we will demonstrate to you how to make this enclosure step by step.

Today we will prepare des... two enclosures.

Half desert ones / half dry / one for Monocentropus balfouri.

Second one for Pterinochilus murinus "usambara" (OBT), the one...

I recived from Krisby.

The actual transfer of those tarantulas You will see in seperate video.

Link to this video will probably be in the description below or...

You will have to wait for the next ones...

Because I'm not sure what will be released first.

Probably THIS so You will have to wait for upcoming videos.

My videos timetable is very retarded.

And I'm recording too many to encompass it.

But WE DON'T CARE!

We will play now in...

Montaging of this enclosures so...

We're lighting up pimples on my muzzle... and let's do it.

What will we need...

Before we start, so we have some cocofiber.

A little bit of sand 'cause sand...

will be mixed together with cocofiber.

We have.

Box of rocks - to add an effect.

We also have.

Bag with all random trivialities from...

That You can use for...

Terraristicks, You can call it like this?

- Decorations. - Decorations, thank You my love.

And we also have.

Those two...

Pieces of cork.

That we will put here...

So...

We're starting the process from...

trying on the stuff we want to use, if yes...

Then next we have to...

Push it inside - like this.

And cut it so it fits the boxes edge.

So right now me and Emila will do it.

To carve it.

To carve generally I highly recommend forks.

Yes... You can also use a knife.

Of course but forks are just better...

Why? Cuz' with a knife You will cut out a big piece.

And this will be scratching and You have the risk of...

That You will reach the other end. So using here by...

this wonderful fork of "Bideronka" brand.

You are ripping only little pieces.

And You are carving...

So... one for You.

Effects of both our...

Works You will of course see both.

After the work the "wall" of the enclosure should look like this... should be uneven.

If You have a hot glue gun You may always use those...

tiny bits to stick em' for example here...

I will not do so because I don't want.

Lessen the livingspace of my spider...

But now we're putting this here.

And now we see that we need tu cut it a bit. So...

we are taking a knife.

And cut...

Very important thing, You may also...

glue this from the other side.

Here with a silocon, But I won't cuz'...

It's very possible that I will redecorate this enclosure in near future.

In this boxes so... I rather have something...

- that I can pull out safely and painless. - Spider will have easier job to redecorate too.

Yes.

True.

Cuz'...

Tarantulas have tendencies to...

- Pulling out so yes... - Own indoor arrangement.

It looks like this.

As You can see... maybe I'll...

throw some light on it will be much more visible.

I Fucked up a bit.

Now Emila is showing her project.

And Emilka will put the...

Give me the knife.

We are throwing some "earth".

Moist cocofiber.

We're giving.

three or four big...

handfulls. And...

One handfull of sand.

Don't be cheap, mix it very good.

It must be.

For a spider that...

Prefers more dry substrate.

Dry environment.

Beat it down as You please.

It should look more or less like this.

And to be honest now the only limit is.

You're own imagination.

I prepared...

Few things that I would like to have...

in my container - it's this tube.

I once got it from a friend of "Stworo Sfera".

What's interesting is the fact that those tubes won't mold.

It's a great advantage of this kind of box.

We doing it like this...

For example...

We dig it a bit...

Emila for example uses a flower pot.

Like I just said Emilka is using a flower pot.

As You can see.

The best thing to do with the pot is...

Cut around.

Best for that job would be...

with a scalpel but...

But we only have a standard knife near.

We have it cut.

The pot is cut.

And we are back broadcasting...

We are looking a perfect, cool looking...

piece...

that will enlarge the spiders livingspace.

Here it looks queit nice.

The fact that this enclosure will be rather...

let's call it dry... I will use...

only branches.

Dry pieces of...

wood.

Like this for example.

Don't forget about...

large ammount of...

ventilation or in other case...

everything will be covered with fucking mold and...

It will end only with You being angy as motherfucker that You have to...

re-arrange everything.

And that's not necessary.

I will...

add this.

Adding some dry elements.

If You have some moss, You can add moss.

It's the best decoration that You can...

That You can dream off, here...

I'm finding some single tiny pieces in my magic bag.

Unfortunetely not too much...

So don't count on...

huge excesses on this part.

You can put...

Part of some kind of plant... but it's looking fucked...

so no sense...

And here we have a finished enclosure.

Queit tidy, queit cool.

Two hides I think it will be more than enough.

That's my decoration.

We will show You Emilia's decoration in a second.

Poorclosure "Biedarum" (In Polish slang enclosure for poor people).

That's how...

- enclosure made by Emila looks. - Poorclosure "Biedarum" (In Polish slang enclosure for poor people).

So called Poorclosure "Biedarum" (In Polish slang enclosure for poor people). next one...

You can find Poorclosure somewhere here...

There will be a link in description, can You pass me some sand?

Yes I can.

O.K.

Transfering spiders to those...

two magnificent enclosures You will see in seperate video so...

I hope that this short tutorial cuz'...

It's nothing extraordinary just...

a bit of creativity.

Will help You make a small cool...

dreamed enclosure for You're pupil and it will joy the eye...

Of course we all know that...

Tarantulas will demolish the fuck out of those enclosures...

I'm speaking to You...

I rather You would look on my ugly mug.

Anyway...

Like I said Tarantulas will...

shortly destroy everything... but at least...

for a short while You will be able to make You're eye happy.

Tell me what do You think about it in the comment section.

Subscribe, comment, recommend and check my Facebook page.

I sincerely invite You...

To subcribe of course share it on:

Cuz' likes are trendy and facebook is too.

Alien's Guide to THE LEGO MOVIE - Duration: 5:50.

Greetings, and welcome to Earthling Cinema. I am your host, Garyx Wormuloid.

This week's artifact is The Lego Movie, based on the tiny

choking hazards that humans used to train their army of childarchitects.

The film tells the story of yellow humanoid creature Emmet Brickowski,

a construction worker who is rather

unpopular despite having the voice of a charismatic and bankable leading man.

One day, Emmet sees a cute girl, which naturally leads him to

fall down a big hole. He gets a doohickey stuck to his back.

But fortunately it's the famed Piece of Resistance,

so now everyone wants to hang out with him.

During this chillsesh, Emmet learns

that President Business plans to freeze the world with a weapon

called the Kragle, which is smidge megalomaniacal for a government official.

The cute girl, whose named is Wyldstyle with two Y's

because humans were the worst, returns to save Emmet with some fancy punches.

She takes him to meet Vitruvius,

who is known to locate certain things from time to time.

They believe Emmet is the One.

I mean the Boy Who Lived, I mean the Special.

They visit one of my recurring nightmares to meet with the Master Builders,

who don't need instruction manuals, but could use an etiquette lesson or two.

The cops follow them there and destroy the place, so Emmet

gallantly hides in a couch, then even more gallantly leads an attack

on President Business' headquarters.

Let's hope there's an elevator.

Doesn't matter, because President Business immediately defeats everyone

and sentences them to join a thinktank. Vitruvius tells Emmet

he made up the prophecy about the Special, so Emmet jumps out a window

As luck would have it,

he falls right into a wormhole and awakens in another dimension,

where it is revealed that he and all his friends are toys in some kind of

"toy story."

Turns out the larger conflict is between the kid from The Wonder Years

and his rule-crazy father, actor-slash-entrepreneur Will Ferrell Williams.

They have a nice little heart to heart about easing up on the Krazy Glue,

then everyone has a good cry and we all go home to call our parents.

The Lego Movie may be fashioned as

a movie for children and brandwhores, but it's actually a satirical jab

at the 21st century American political, economic, and social landscape.

President Business is the president, as one half of his name suggests,

but the other half suggests he's all about the bottle line.

This juxtaposition satirizes the effect money has over politics,

and the increasingly blurred line -- you know you want it --

between corporate and political power. In a prime example

of crony capitalism, all media, business, government, and

interpersonal interactions are controlled by a single corporation.

The Octan Energy Corp is a sly reference to the behemoths that

controlled life on Earth: Google Plus, Bing, and, of course,

Tidal high-fidelity, lossless laundry detergent.

President Business is a corporate despot

and wants to maintain the status quo by gluing everyone in place

something I've considered with my children on more than one occasion

He uses his control of the economy to subjugate his citizens,

even using a coin as an actual weapon.

The proletariat is subdued into silence and complacency

with the allure of Taco Tuesday,

proving once and for all that humans were powerless to resist alliteration.

Citizens are also dulled into submission submission by watching,

"Where Are My Pants", a show that pokes fun at an

era of mindless television, not to mention its cheap, short-form,

internet-only facsimiles. And if that wasn't enough to take

television down a peg, the film also includes numerous literary allusions.

An "I've got my eye on you" poster and surveillance camera

call to mind George Orwell's 1984 classic, 1984.

Cloud Cuckoo Land is a reference to a play by Aristophanes called "The Birds,"

featuring a chaotic realm of the same name.

The name "Vitruvius" is a reference to a Roman author who wrote a ten volume work on architecture,

which later inspired Da Vinci to create his famous "Vitruvian Guy,"

The film also features some bizarre existential undertones.

After his death trip into oblivion, Emmet enters a heightened reality

where he realizes free will is an illusion, and he is nothing more

than a puppet being controlled by some snot-nosed fleshmonster.

When Emmet wiggles off the table, he is undergoing an existential

rebellion, refusing to let anyone define him -- be it his societal

overlords, his God, or beloved child star Fred Savage.

Emmet becomes a religious figure, which is appropriate, given that

his name means "truth" in Hebrew. His entry into the "real world"

symbolizes death, so his return is a Christ-like resurrection.

And just like Christ, he ends up stealing Batman's girlfriend.

Ultimately, The Lego Movie is a celebration of creativity and

individualism over uniformity. Emmet lives in a society as rigid

as the blocks themselves, his individual will smothered by

instructions and a terrifyingly catchy song.

As Emmet eventually learns, to become the Special,

"you must embrace what is special about YOU."

Don't settle for being just another cog in some larger machine.

Now this may seem like a harsh indictment of corporations for a

glorified two-hour toy commercial,

but keep in mind that Earth's greatest export was hypocrisy.

For Earthling Cinema,

Im Garyx Wormuloid. Sweet dreams.

Your guide to understanding the FAFSA, ASAP. - Duration: 1:54.

The FAFSA is the Free Application for Federal Student Aid

It is a government document used to determine how much need-based aid you will receive in college

Here's how it works: Take the school's total cost of attendance

For example, $48,000, that includes tuition fees room and board books and other estimated expenses

The FAFSA will determine your estimated Family Contribution or EFC

based on your tax return

this family of four with one student college has an EFC of

$6,000 that means the government estimates you can afford

$6,000 a year for that student. Subtract that from the cost of attendance of the school and you have an unmet need of $42,000

Then take into account any merit-based scholarships - in this example

$12,000 that leaves you with an unmet need of $30,000. That doesn't mean you will get financial aid to cover

$30,000, but you'll get some help particularly at a private school

for instance the student in this example is a resident of the state of North Carolina and qualifies for

$7,000 the state and federal grant aid

considering the student's need in 2017 this private university added $9,300 in

Institutional need-based aid that leaves a student with a total cost of about $19,700 a year

That includes indirect costs like books and transportation

Many students find that the net cost after grant aid is less expensive than flagship in-state public institution

For those who qualify federal loans and work-study can also be used to fill in the gap after grant aid

the FAFSA opens on October 1st for students planning to start the following fall the sooner you do it the sooner you will

Understand your total out-of-pocket cost for college
