I am going to give you some mind boggling facts on Male infertility and male sexual health

Now the WHO and CDC data estimate that

approximately over 250 million couples at any point of time are suffering from infertility

This is a BIG NUMBER

This means that infertility is now a public health problem and is an epidemic in all the countries throughout the world

...and INDIA is among the top 5 countries facing fertility issues

I mean it is a bad JOKE!

Imagine, who would have thought of India, probably the worlds second largest population

..would face such complex infertility issues ??!

Male infertility, alone affects over 7% of the global male population

This also includes male sexual health issues

This number is a very scary figure!

This means 100's and millions of men are facing some problem with their fertility or family life

This number is scary simply because,

Male infertility prevalence is even more than Diabetes mellitus

Most of the time...

we see men take native treatments for male infertility and problems like erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation

treating problems with their semen like low sperm count

treating conditions like Azoospermia

..for which even allopathic treatments are struggling to find a cure

Now, although native treatments work very well in certain conditions

We do not have enough published studies to validate the effectiveness of these therapies for these fertility issues

So i strongly urge you

not to go for such treatments!

but rather get proper ethical, validated and scientific treatments for fertility problems

Today sexual awareness,

is very very POOR!

this is because sexual health is not a taught subject in schools

which is also understandable

since our culture is extremely conservative

even couples do not open up to each other

about sexual health issues...even with their doctor!

Here is an interesting example..

A couple came to me with a fertility issue

,they were suffering from infertility for the last 7 years

When we investigated, we found a problem of non consummation of marriage

which means in the last 7 years the couple did not engage in sexual intercourse

The women was blaming the man for erectile dysfunction, and

..and the man was blaming the women for pain during intercourse

..yet they never managed to communicate with each other in the last 7 years

what we simply did, was we evaluated them individually and made them speak to one another

and now they are happy and pregnant with a child

We see 100's if not 1000's of such patients

every month on month with such problems

One of the most important things, we seem to come across in our clinic

today, is that most of the time

when men come with a particular problem

when we find out that the issue was in the male partner..

when we tel men that the reason for infertility is because of your low sperm count

or your sperm are not good

we see that their ego gets hurt!.

MEN feel less MEN when they are diagnosed with MALE INFERTILITY

This is understandable because,

we have seen this trend in different countries

....all over the world

Male infertility hurts a mans psychology

Whats also SAD but interesting..

in men who are diagnosed with complex problems affecting their semen

what we have seen is that..

the diagnosis itself can impair their sexual health

Fertility and sexual health go hand in hand

You need to have a good sexual health for fertility and good fertility for sexual health

It brings the bonding between couples...
