Your love for your favourite sports team drives your passion
almost as much as your Toyota!
As part of Entune App Suite Connect, the Sports app helps you
stay connected to your favourite teams while connecting
to the world around you in your new Toyota vehicle.
A wide range of professional sports and teams are available,
with schedules, standings and scores for each league and division,
keeping you in the loop when you hit the road.
When you're far from home, you can quickly find out
what games are going on nearby and catch up on what's happening
with the home team —
even if you don't have time to grab the sports page.
You can even create a personalized list of your favourite teams
and receive updates.
Like all the useful and entertaining apps in App Suite Connect,
you can control the Sports app
using the built-in voice recognition system.
Just press the Talk button on your steering wheel
or use the touchscreen.
Say "Launch Sports" or press the Menu button,
then select Apps, then Sports on the touchscreen.
Use the tabs at the top of the screen
to go to your list of Favourites, or to make a choice amongst
All Sports, Results, Standings or Schedules,
or tap Edit to customize your personal list.
Under All Sports,
you'll find a comprehensive list of professional and college leagues.
Selection of a sport results in an on-screen list of recent and
upcoming games and events.
Remember that whenever all results don't fit on screen,
you can use the side scroll or say "next page" to see more.
Because it's organized with the home team listed on the right,
you can quickly see where the event is taking place.
For individual sports, such as golf or motorsports,
you'll see current standings or
results for the most recent tournament or race,
organized by athlete.
To add a team or athlete to your Favorites list,
select it and say yes to the prompt, or tell the system:
"add to favourites." You can also use the "star" icon
to denote a favourite team by selecting it
while you're checking out scores, standings or schedules.

you can remove one at a time by selecting Edit
and confirming your choice,
or by tapping the star icon on a current favourite to deselect it.
As you browse, you can toggle the results displayed
between standings and scores, and among available divisions
and conferences using the tabs at the top of the screen.
As you navigate the app using voice recognition,
you can perform the same functions with voice commands
such as "When is the Canucks game?"
or "Add Maple Leafs to my favourites."
Once you launch the Sports app using voice recognition,
the system will help you along by offering regular prompts.
You can always say "help," "start over" or "cancel"
to move on to a different function or customize your results.
With safety always being the number one priority,
the results displayed in the Sports app
may be limited when your vehicle is moving.
As part of App Suite Connect in your Toyota vehicle,
the Sports application keeps you connected to the leagues,
teams and athletes you love,
whether you're missing a game or looking for one.
