World Number One Liver Treatment - Duration: 21:27.My name is Nor Azhar bin Mohd Yunus, one of the patients of Hepatitis B.
I was diagnosed with the disease 7 years ago,
and I'd consulted specialists at a hospital to receive treatments.
Since hepatitis is a disease that is difficult to cure,
so while I was receiving treatments, I was given supports
and I was kept updated with my liver condition and other symptoms that occurred from hepatitis.
Symptoms which had occurred on Mr. Azhar…
Initially, I experienced stomach ache for 2 weeks
and I didn't expect it was because of hepatitis.
After I started to vomit blood, I went to see a doctor
and the doctor confirmed it was due to the swelling of the blood vessels in the oesophagus.
I was admitted to the hospital for more or less 2 months.
I didn't have problems with my stomach anymore.
However, my blood pressure, there was a reduction in the number of red blood cells, haemoglobin,
and also a decrease in platelet level.
And at that time, I was given a treatment to increase the amount of blood and platelet.
How did Mr. Azhar discover that he was one of the patients of Hepatitis B…
I found out that I had hepatitis after the demise of my parents due to liver cancer
and I was advised by a doctor to get a medical check-up, in which after that, I was diagnosed with Hepatitis B.
10 years ago, my late father didn't know that he had Hepatitis B.
He only knew about his illness at the last moments, when it was too late,
so it was difficult for the doctors to cure him since his condition was already critical.
I watched him vomit and excrete blood,
and he was admitted to the hospital for a month.
He eventually passed away at Hospital Besar Kuala Lumpur.
How was Mr. Azhar's condition during his critical moments…
When I had a chronic liver, I spent most of my time at the hospital,
receiving treatments and I was extremely exhausted physically.
After receiving treatments from Al-Jabbar, praise be to Allah, I am now able to live my life normally again.
My condition was chronic since I was suffering from liver cirrhosis, where the liver shrivelled.
Liver cirrhosis is when the surface of the liver becomes rough like the peels of oranges.
When we have liver cirrhosis, every system in the body will not function well,
so there will be times when we will experience the swelling of veins, oesophagus.
And most of the time, at certain level, liver cirrhosis can cause someone to vomit blood
due to the swollen blood vessels within the oesophagus.
Eventually…
I was reading the newspaper, Berita Harian, when I discovered that Al-Jabbar had marketed a product that can cure hepatitis.
So I immediately contacted the company to obtain information from them,
and I tested the product, Al-Jabbar HB (Jabbar Hidayah HB Plus), which is specifically made for Hepatitis B, for 3 months.
The cost was quite high but the result is very satisfying, and I am now free from hepatitis.
I had been suffering from hepatitis for 7 years,
and I had used the product by Al-Jabbar for 3-4 months.
The result is great, as my final blood test had confirmed that I am free of hepatitis.
Advice…
Most people who receive news of their health conditions, such as having hepatitis which can lead to liver cancer, will lose hope.
In my opinion, it is wrong to be that way.
There's a cure for every illness, so we must be strong and not lose hope,
and we must strive to find the cure or treatment.
And I'm giving my advice towards those who are patients of hepatitis
to give Al-Jabbar HB (Jabbar Hidayah HB Plus) a try,
which in my opinion, is a very good product and I have even tried it myself
although it is quite expensive.
But to me, financial issues can always be solved,
what's important is our health that helps us to continue living our lives.
Opinion…
I'm giving my opinion for those out there, having a blood test is important in order to know our health conditions.
Especially if it is Hepatitis B, as it is a silent killer,
without us knowing, since no symptom can be seen at the early stage.
And I hope those out there can spare some time to go for medical check-ups
to make sure that you are free of any kind of viruses, especially hepatitis,
because this illness can also affect your children and grandchildren.
I hope you will take lessons from my experience,
and praise be to Allah, for the illness that I once had has been cured
as a result of my efforts.
I'd known since the year 2001 that I actually had liver cirrhosis where the liver began to harden.
I had gone to many places, and each time I went it would cost me nearly MYR4000 (USD1025),
but there seemed to be no changes. They'd recommended me to take this medication and see what would happen.
Praise be to Allah, gradually my body seemed to regain its energy.
Now, if anyone says that he/she has liver illness, I will definitely recommend this product.
I'd known that I was a carrier of Hepatitis B ever since I was pregnant with my first child.
When I found out that I had the illness, there was really nothing I could do but cry.
Then, we went to a private clinic, and the doctor advised me to take some kind of pills made in India.
So I took the medication for 4 years, until I was pregnant with my third and then later fourth child.
I had to get a blood test with every pregnancy,
and each time the doctor would say the virus was active, that I was the carrier of the illness.
In 2006, I read an article which said that Al-Jabbar had produced a medication that could cure the illness.
and I thought I should give it a try.
One of the staff told me to get my blood tested after 2 months,
but I went for the test on the third month,
and I was happy with the result which showed that my condition had gone from hepatitis b carrier to normal patient.
Also, based on the result of the blood test, the virus had decreased a lot and I am closer to becoming healthy again.
I am grateful for I have found the solution.
I had a disease affecting the liver when I was in Form 5 (High School).
I was always feeling unwell and every time I ate I felt like vomiting.
I always had painful joints, and I also frequently felt dizzy
but when I went to see the doctors, they would tell me that I had a migraine or gastric pain,
and when I took medications prescribed by the doctors, there were no effects.
My mother took me to a private clinic, homeopathy,
and he said that I had some problems with my liver but it was still at an early stage,
he could not say for sure whether I was having Hepatitis A, B, or C,
but he only told me to take precautions as to avoid it from becoming worst,
and my mother was worried as well.
One day, she saw an advertisement by Al-Jabbar.
At first, I refused to take the medication because I was still at an early stage.
Besides, I knew that the medication was expensive.
But my mother said that the price didn't matter and she was worried that I couldn't focus on studying for SPM (Exam).
So I took the medication continuously.
After 4 bottles of the medication, I went to a government clinic to have my blood tested.
The doctor said that I was healthy and normal.
Praise be to Allah, ever since then I no longer experience painful joints and I can eat normally again.
I am feeling much healthier.
In conclusion, I think that this product by Al-Jabbar is good for those with either Hepatitis B, A, or C,
because to me, there's no need for people with these illnesses to get a surgery
since there will be risks to take and it'll cost a lot as well.
And as Mr. Kamaruzaman said,
most people who went for surgeries had died
because when the operation took place, the viruses could spread and infect the surgical wounds.
My sister noticed it, and so did my mother, that his stomach was distended.
I hadn't had a small child for a long time,
but what we noticed was that he frequently defecated and urinated,
to the extent that he used up a lot of diapers.
He had a fever almost every month,
and if he didn't have a fever he would usually gain weight
because he loves to eat,
but then he would lose those weight again due to fever.
There was one time that he had a fever for 3 weeks.
We took him to the clinic a few times but he still didn't get better.
The doctor asked why I had come,
so I told him that I was curious as to why his stomach distended.
So, I felt the need to get the doctor's advice at that time.
Then, the doctor did a check-up on him,
and he said that his liver had increased in size.
However, the doctor also said that it was advisable to consult another doctor and get a second opinion.
So the doctor said that he was going to refer us to a hospital,
either the one in Kajang or Putrajaya.
The doctor decided to refer us to the one in Kajang,
because according to him the doctors there were specialists compared to the one in Putrajaya.
And so we went to the hospital and our son was admitted that very night.
Even the doctors were shocked at that time.
The doctors found that his liver was three times bigger than normal children.
So he stayed in the paediatric ward for 11 days.
He had to get blood tests every day, take medications, etc. He also started to have fever.
I mean, even healthy kids who are admitted to a hospital will end up having a fever, isn't it?
They took a lot of his blood and tested it.
Firstly, they suspected thalassemia, but when they ran a test, it wasn't thalassemia.
And then, they ran a test for hepatitis, but it wasn't hepatitis either.
Anyway, they ran a lot of tests for every possible disease, but they couldn't find what it was
until one doctor said to me that they had never dealt with such a case before.
I asked the doctor whether he was able to cure my son or not,
but the doctor's answer was uncertain.
So I said if the doctor wasn't sure about it, then it would be better for me to bring my son out of the hospital.
I was willing to take the risks. If we let him stay at the hospital, the doctor wasn't sure of what to do with him.
Besides, I did learn a bit about herbs, and these herbs are food for cells in or bodies.
So, we must think of other alternatives for this problem, that's why we took him out of the hospital.
My husband didn't give up so he kept on searching for an alternative,
until he found information on Al-Jabbar and he told me about it.
My husband said he wanted to give it a try.
His defecation seemed okay at that time but I thought we should give it a try anyway.
So, after consuming nearly 2 bottles, we could see his stomach had flattened a bit.
Before that, we could even see the veins in the stomach because it was distended, but after taking the medication, his stomach looked better.
It hadn't flattened completely but it was definitely better than before. We could no longer see the veins and all.
And my husband also said that his defecation had also improved compared to before.
On the third bottle, he only defecated twice a day, once during the day and once at night.
So, I think that was considered as normal compared to before. And also, on the third bottle, he could finally stop wearing diapers.
Only after using Al-Jabbar's product that we could see improvements.
What's important is actually the improvement of the immune system,
which is why he could suddenly withstand the disease. He hasn't had a fever for a long time now.
Ever since he took the medication until now, he hardly gets a fever
and even when everyone else has a fever, he is not affected by it.
Back then, even I had to get an MC (medical leave).
The doctor would give it to me although he was the one who had a fever.
Modern medications can only cure or treat diseases after we've detected what exactly is wrong, like cancer, etc.
Then, we'll go to the hospital, and the doctors will have no choice but to do surgery, chemotherapy, etc., right?
However, traditional herbs and medicines that we have inherited for so long
can actually help in the prevention of diseases.
And even our Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) had encouraged us to prevent diseases rather than to cure
because curing means the illnesses that we have, have worsened.
And if we are to follow the modern ways in treating diseases,
If we choose not to do a surgery, this will happen.
sometimes we will be given a 50-50 chance.
And if we choose to do it, then there will be another possibility.
Even surgery itself gives us either a 70-30 or 50-50 chance,
so we will have to take the risks when opting for a surgery.
But if only we practice what had been taught by the older generations,
since they had a lot of know-hows and also,
back then the environment was clean unlike today.
So, either way we should always go back to nature.

Lower Back Pain? St Louis Chiropractor Discusses a Better Treatment Plan - Duration: 10:22.What was your motivation to become a chiropractor?
So my motivation to become a chiropractor it started early on with my deep desire and
passion to help people. Lower Back Pain of so many people needing help, it just seemed right that I should help
So I didn't know quite what that look like or how I was gonna help people.
I started, it really started when I became a massage therapist, I worked for a chiropractor.
So I was seeing people, massage, doing massages, but seeing a chiropractor and what he was
doing for people, literally changing people's lives was mind blowing to me.
But the pipe bomb didn't really go off until I saw the changes in myself.
So I had a lot of ailments, back pain, neck pain, shoulder pain so all that started getting
better. St Louis is need of a Chiropractor with a different approach to lower back pain, neck pain and other health related issues.
But the real thing that kinder got me on that path of knowing I wanted to do Chiropractic,
is I had chronic problems, digestive issues, stress, all these different things never thought
a chiropractor would be able to help with.
And they all miraculously went away.
So I knew then like I had to share this first and foremost with my family and friends and
then with the surrounding community.
So the patient became the doctor?
Pretty much.
That's really cool.
When you got into the chiropractic field, and you know you are going to school and another
thing, what methodology did you start to kind of lean toward and why?
So that took me out quite out of a journey set.
That was when I first started getting adjusted networking for the chiropractor, all I knew
is what that guy did for me.
How he adjusted me so that's all I knew.
But the one thing that kind of set things apart, people got well.
A lot of people got well but still people had questions.
So they didn't feel like they are getting their questions answered.
By the chiropractor, No, if against him they still had questions.
It was, and I just kept list because I would see every patient for a couple of minutes
before the chiropractor would come in.
So time and time again, more and more people just more questions.
So I just kind of had a drive to find a technique, a specific technique that could maybe answer
those questions.
Or further studies that I could do to get to the answers for those questions for those
people.
So I could help definitely many people.
Okay, and what was that method?
So during school year while I had so many different at Logan, here in Chastitute* in
Missouri, we are allowed to, there are so many techniques that your subjected, not subjected
to but then you can take as an elective.
So I tried many different techniques.
And the one that just stood out and, was a no brainer for me.
Was code SOT.
So SOT, the abbreviation for SOT is sacro occipital technique.
So it's a very thorough technique.
So there's a lot of cheque and balances.
So, it's very specific to the patient when they come in, so there is a needs in assessing
what exactly needs to be addressed that day.
And then once we address it then the indicators that we look for go away, so we know that
we made progression for that day.
So again it's like the checks and balances, but its encompassing all techniques so now
that we are addressing anything from your cranium down to your feet and everywhere in
between, that organ function, it looks to a little bit of everything.
And again its checks and balances.
So we know we are making the corrections and the patient can see the corrections as we
go on.
Okay, okay.
Along with it as SOT method is there anything else that you incorporate with that?
We do, so when individuals come in with specific complaints, we take care of them within the
chiropractic world, as best we can, and then if they don't respond as we expect them
to, or if they have further issues, digestive issues, diarrhea issues, whatever they may
have, then we can look at further testing such as blood work or saliva testing to look
at we call functional medicine , to look at this function before it gets to pathology,
they might not get in a medical model, so then we can address it through dietary changes,
and supplementation and try to help them so that then they can get over those hurdles
and like I said earlier with the questions that people had , that is one of the major
stepping stones that I found to help my patients even more , this is the functional medicine
and other services that we offer in our office.
You can look at and tell when a person has somethings going wrong but they are not at
emergency room level yet.
Correct.
You can kind of take that one off and get that back in order so that they don't have
to go to the ER.
Ideally.
Okay.
If we can understand their symptoms, how they are responding to care, my chiropractic stand
point.
So when their symptoms aren't changing and they are having other symptoms, so it's
kind of very unique to that individual and then based on that we never can diagnose anything lower back pain, neck pain, overweight, nerve damage, sports injuries....
or treat anything.
But we can support normal processes throughout the body with those things that I just mentioned
with dietary changes supplementation.
So we allow the body to heal itself.
But again before it gets to pathology like you said before they are in the hospital,
hopefully helping them before they even get to that point.
Okay, great.
Now what if you have a patient of yours who is actually under doctor care for let's
say diabetes.
Is there anything that you can help them with as far as along those lines?
Absolutely.
So when we look at chiropractic, and what we do as chiropractors, is we free up nerve
interference.
So if there's misalignment within the spine, anywhere in the spine it can interfere with
the nerves that come out of that level, a lot of times it's in the areas of say your
pancreas.
So your pancreases secrete insulin when you eat.
So a lot of diabetics have a problem with insulin.
So if we start with a chiropractic, part of it making sure that the nervous system is
functioning properly, that's kind of the baseline, absolutely we'll start there.
But then we can also look at supplementation and dietary changes to definitely support
the diabetes whichever one it is if it's in type one or type two.
And work directly with the doctors too.
So sometimes people are allowed, no, not allowed.
Sometimes people when they start balancing things out they don't need their meds as
much.
Or sometimes they have been able to get off their meds.
And that's something that we tell them up front, like we can't tell you anything about
your medicines, like you have to follow up with your medical doctor for that.
And there is nothing that I could tell you about your meds.
But we will help support all the other areas and so forth normal processes in your body,
we are not treating anything.
Okay.
Have you addressed any other type of problems that people have like you know like ADHD or
you know other things that are kind of common in our world today?
So a lot of times what we find they are thyroid issues.
So a lot of thyroid issues allow auto immune issues.
A lot of digestive issues.
IBS which is kind of a blanket for your bowel dysfunction we don't know what's wrong
with him.
Collits, Crohns disease.
So a lot of digestive, thyroid, blood sugar.
Also a big one right now is SEBO, small Intestine bacterial overgrowth.
So all of these things, allergies, like food intolerances.
So there's many different things that people come in with, that we've been able to help
with. We helped so many people with not just lower back pain, but many other ailments, such has foot pain, neck pain and many other issues
Wow, that's awesome.
Now, looking at your office you are the chiropractor and of course you address things to the nutritional
level, sort of things are there any other services that you offer here?
We do.
So massage therapy, we have a great massage therapist.
And we have an acupuncturist.
So she practices Chinese medicine.
So both of those kind of go hand in hand with the chiropractic what we are looking at the
entire body, and how everything's connected.
And how we can better balance that system with all those different various techniques
and services.
Okay great, great.
Well I think that is all I had for you today.
I really appreciate your time.
That's absolutely very informative.
Thank you very much absolutely. We can help you with an holistic approach to your health and wellness.

Provide Free Drugs to People with Addictions: Chronic Addiction Substitution Treatment(CAST) - Duration: 4:30.For almost 50 years, British Columbia had a dozen opium dispensaries in several
cities paying high fees to government. The opium was mild and cheap; there were
few social problems. But the Canadian government rescued British Columbia from
its errors by making opium illegal. Business people were now labelled
criminals. Without access to courts they had to enforce contracts on their own
through violence. Smuggling required concentrated product.
Opium became morphine, became heroin, became fentanyl. Prohibition restricted
supply which raised prices and created windfall profits for criminals and a
lucrative business model. Get one person addicted and you get an annuity for life.
To pay for increased prices addicted people resorted to prostitution and
theft. Since stolen goods only get ten cents on
the dollar they had to steal ten times as much value to pay their bills.
Businesses lost inventory and hired security guards. Citizens locked their
doors, bought costly security systems and demanded increased police budgets. Was
Ottawa successful? Today around 1 billion dollars in illegal drugs are sold in
British Columbia each year. Police are unable, sometimes unwilling, to shut down
well-funded crime groups that include some of the most vicious criminals.
Schoolchildren get drugs delivered faster than pizzas. It costs $100,000 to
keep a dealer or addict in jail for one year. Jails are institutions of higher
learning for drug criminals. Housed and fed in a safe environment, many
relationships are formed there. They learn from each other how to be more
effective criminals and they have high status when they're released. All paid
for by you the tax payer. Our emergency services are so busy
dealing with addiction that services to the general population has suffered.
Terrorists gained control of drug production in Afghanistan and other
countries. Profits were used to undermine local governments and ultimately attack
the West. Drug laws play a role in funding terrorists. Enormous profits
glamourize criminality, attracting more young people. They make so much money
gang members are willing to shoot each other on the street for it. 1,000 British
Columbians die of overdose every year because the government can't ensure the
quality of an illegal product. Several teenagers die every month. The drug
problem reveals weaknesses in democracy. Our majority rules system marginalizes
minority groups and caters to a superiority complex. The worse the
problem gets the more knee-jerk the reaction is. Voters demand simplistic
solutions that make the problem worse. 12 years ago,
as Mayor of Vancouver, I proposed a solution CAST Chronic Addiction
Substitution Treatment. Its main goal to eliminate organised crime by taking away
its profits. The best way to kill an industry is called dumping. Under CAST
if anyone becomes addicted the government immediately takes over the
supply depriving criminals of their money. This type of program has operated
in Switzerland since 1998. Vancouver has a program but with too few people. What
if the 'government-knows-best' moralists had not decided to save us in 1908. Would
we still have opium dispensaries operating without social problems?
Contributing not taking away from our tax dollars? Let us stop this costly and
destructive path we've been on for over a hundred years
and restore health to our communities.

UV Phototherapy An effective and proven treatment method for skin diseases - Duration: 6:00.Miliony ludzi na całym świecie
cierpią na choroby skóry, takie jak
dermatozy, bielactwo
to typowe objawy łuszczycy.
Badania kliniczne i prace naukowe pokazały,
By mieć pewność, że terapia została
dobrana właściwie
nasilenie choroby oraz jej objawów musi zostać zbadane
i dokładnie opisane.
Fototerapia jest ogólnie dobrze tolerowana i powinna być
stosowana trzy do pięciu razy w tygodniu.
Fototerapia wykorzystuje specyficzne widmo promieniowania UV
które wykazuje wysoką skuteczność.
Widmo naturalnego promieniowania UV
dzielimy na promieniowanie UVA, UVB oraz UVC
w zależności od długości ich fali elektromagnetycznej.
Tylko długier fale promieni UVA oraz krótkie fale promieni UVB stosowane są
w celach terapeutycznych.
Promienie UVA to fale o długości od 315 do 380 nanometrów
i mogą wnikać do skóry właściwej i głębszych warstw skóry.
Tu oddziałują na komórki stanu zapalnego
i specyficzne komórki tkanki łącznej
Promienie UVB mają długość fali od 282 do 315 nanometrów
i oddziałują w naskórku oraz
zewnętrznych warstwach skóry.
Długie fale
promieniowania UVB mają również specyficzny
wpływ na głębsze warstwy naskórka
zwłaszcza na warstwę podstawną
Istnieje nieznaczne ryzyko wystąpienia rumienia
przy stosowaniu długich fal
spektrum UVA , które zmniejsza się
wykorzystując terapię z zastosowaniem łączonego spektrum UVA i UVB
To dlatego fototerapia wykorzystuje
selektywnie długie fale spektrum promieniowania UVB
zwane 'narrowband therapy' czyli terapią wąskopasmową UVB , która
okazała się nieoceniona w terapii łuszczycy
Szczyt emisji promieniowania UVB
to 311 nanometrów.
Jego skuteczność jest spowodowana z jednej strony
jego działaniem immunosupresyjnym, w którym
oddziałuje na komórki stanu zapalnego na przykład
limfocyty T oraz swoiste mediatory takie
jak interleukiny.
Z drugiej strony dzięki optymalnemu
dopasowaniu długości fali zatrzymuje nadmiernie szybki
podział komórek w warstwie podstawnej naskórka
Ten kompleksowy
mechanizm działania prowadzi do
potwierdzanej klinicznie poprawy
zmian zapalnych skóry
oraz zmniejszenia łuszczenia.
Ponieważ jest wysoce skuteczna i dobrze tolerowana
wąskopasmowa terapia UVB jest dziś
uważana za terapię pierwszego wyboru
w przypadku umiarkowanych i ciężkich zmian łuszczycowych.
W fototerapii stosowane mogą być
urządzenia przeznaczone do terapii całego ciała
jak i systemy do terapii wybranych partii ciała.
Systemy przeznaczone do terapii całego ciała to
kabiny wyposażone w specjalne
medyczne lampy UV
które dostarczają promieniowanie do całej powierzchni ciała.
W odróżnieniu od salarium, w którym
jedynym celem jest opalanie
zaawansowane technicznie i zatwierdzone medycznie
systemy do fototerapii są w pełni bezpieczne dla pacjentów.
Profesjonalny system czujników
w połączeniu z nowoczesnym systemem kontroli
zapewnia skuteczną i bezpieczną fototerapię.
Podczas każdego naświetlania
oczy pacjenta muszą
być zasłonięte przez specjalne okulary ochronne.
Dawka promieniowania ustawiana jest
w systemie sterowania przez wykwalifikowany personel medyczny
bądź przesyłana jest zdalnie przez system EDP
Ustalona dawka dostarczana jest precyzyjnie.
Zaprogramowane limity dawek
oraz systemy kontrolne zintegrowane
w panelu sterowania są dodatkową gwarancją bezpieczeństwa.
Na koniec sesji naświetlania
lub jeśli sesja zostanie przerwana
promienniki UV wyłączą się automatycznie.
W leczeniu poszczególnych kończyn bądź części ciała
wewnętrzna strona
zmienionej dłoni lub stopy układana jest bezpośrednio
na module leczniczym.
Promienniki automatycznie wyłączają się,
gdy zostanie dostarczona ustawiona dawka.

- Hey, welcome to Coffee Coffee Coffee
your place for average Joe coffee reviews.
Today's coffee is Just Black.
(upbeat music)
- So today we're reviewing
Black Rifle Coffee Company's Just Black.
- That's it. - That's it.
No, there's more to say.
So first of all, the company is veteran owned.
- Right. - Which is what kind of
drew us into it cause he's a veteran.
- That's right, Semper Fi.
And not afraid to put some, you know,
weapons on their bag which I like.
They're like, oh okay, politically incorrect.
That's, who cares?
- Right. - That's how I feel.
- Yeah, really cool packaging
and you said they have funny commercials.
- Yeah, I saw a couple of them anyway.
- Yeah, some of them are maybe not good for kids.
But, ah-- - N-S-F-K.
Not safe for kids. - Okay. (laughs)
Not sure where you're going...
So this is a hundred percent Arabica coffee.
It's supposed to be an eight on the roasting scale
which is towards the darker--
- Like their boldness-- - Well, that's, no no no,
that's the roasting scale so from lightest to darkest
it's an eight out of like, I think, ten.
The tasting notes it says,
it's a blend of Central American
and Colombian supremo coffee.
It's roasted medium-dark to give it
a consistently bold and roasted flavor.
- Mmhmm. - So we're expecting it to be
bold and roasty. - Bold and roasty.
- Which we prefer.
That is, like, my profile. - Right.
- Well, maybe not so much bold but roasty.
But I like a richness,
but that's pretty much the same thing.
I mean kinda different but.
- Yeah. - Yeah.
- You don't care.
- Yeah, when it says bold, I expect it to like.
- A lot of robust flavor like in your,
in your face. - Right.
- In this part of your face.
- Let's talk about cost.
- 12 dollars for the bag.
- So a dollar an ounce.
- Yeah, so 16 bucks for a pound
which is the most expensive coffee
that we've ever used so far.
- Except for Lake 503 Coffee. - Nope.
That was still, that was a whole bag that we got.
- Yeah, and it was a 12 ounce bag.
- I think you're wrong, but we can check the review
to see that.
- Okay, alright, but anyway,
if it's not the most expensive
it's the premium pricing.
I mean, there are more expensive coffees
than this, certainly.
I mean there's like 30,
well there's even more than that 30 dollar a pound.
But, um yeah, so.
Yeah.
- It's a coarse ground coffee. - Yeah.
- You can hear it in the bag and see it.
But we'll see what kind of effect that has on the flavor,
we don't really know.
- Well, generally speaking,
if it's coarser ground it's gonna be...
- Less flavor. - Yeah, less flavor.
It's good for, like, when you have a french press.
- So you don't get all that grinds up in your...
- Yeah, grill. - Grill.
(laughs) - We said grill.
- Yes, but we almost lost, missed the high-five.
- Okay, so, it smells good.
- Ah!
- So it says bold and I don't get bold.
- No.
I'm wondering which branch of the military.
(chuckles)
- But, um.
I don't know, like it...
It's not bad coffee.
It's like okay coffee to me.
My own opinion. - Yeah.
- It's like, it's okay.
- Yeah, seems pretty weak though.
- Yeah.
- And we've tried it in different levels.
With one table...
Cause the bag doesn't say.
Normally, you know, the bag will say
use two tablespoons, use a heaping one, use...
This one doesn't say either way,
so we did one, one and a half, heaping, two
and it was just kind of the same.
- Yeah. - Each time we did that.
- Yeah. - And there's just not
a lot of flavor. - Yeah.
Did you, what did you do on this one?
- This is one and a half. - Yeah.
So normally or in a lot of coffees
if you used one and a half,
that's gonna be a strong cup of coffee.
Especially like, Pete's, gosh.
Be too bitter probably. - Right.
- But this is just kinda like meh, you know?
I don't know, I'm just...
For the price, I expect more, that's the thing.
Like, I really wanted to love this coffee.
I wanted to...
Cause, you know, support your vets.
I'd rather give my money to veterans
than, you know, other corporations and stuff.
- Right. - But this bag, at least,
not so much. - Yeah.
And then also, but the thing to think about
giving money to veterans versus other corporations,
probably a lot of corporations are run by veterans.
- Well, we'd have to fact check that.
(laughs)
- Well, a lot.
I didn't say which ones.
- A lot of times on Undercover Boss, it's a vet.
- Uh, but overall, I'm just dissatisfied with...
And I don't think it's because of the cost, you know.
- No, no. - It doesn't really matter.
- We don't, we don't grade that harshly.
- Not at this level. - Mm mm.
- If it were. - Now if it's like a
50 dollar a bag. - What's that like?
- I don't know, but I'm saying
if it was 50 dollars a bag,
I would have really high expectations.
But, you know, 12 dollars a bag,
I'm not gonna be really hard on it.
And it's just... - Just kinda bland.
- Yeah, it's, yeah.
Just kinda bland. - Yeah, so.
- Sorry.
- Unfortunately, I would say pass.
We're not gonna buy it again.
This roast.
- Yeah, no, I do want to give them another shot
and buy like a, there's a (laughs).
- Another shot. - Man, that was good.
Uh, there's another one called like
Ace or no, I don't know.
It's got an ace on the bag, I think.
They've got really good marketing.
- Yeah, so hopefully the other coffees
will play into that, you know?
This one might just be one that they're trying to...
Because it's Just Black,
they might be trying to appease a lot of people.
And just kind of hit the mar...
Or missed the mark. (laughs)
- You are on fire.
- That's never good
when you have a weapon that it's on fire,
unless it's a flamethrower.
Then that's good.
But, you know, overall, um.
I don't know.
I might have to say... - Two and a half?
- Yeah, that's what I was thinking.
Two and a half just because it was kinda,
just kinda not, no flavor to really speak of at all
and just kind of bland. - Yeah.
- Alright, well. - So sad.
- Yeah, if you've tried this roast
or any of their other roasts, let us know
which one might be better. - Yeah, yeah.
- Then we can try them and see.
Cause we don't wanna risk too much on expensive coffee.
- Right, yeah. - See what I'm saying?
- Yeah, okay, I thought you meant they're gonna like
send out people to hunt us because,
because we didn't like this roast.
No, they're great people.
Vets are great.
- But let us know in the comments below
and we'll get right back to you.
Right, until next time - Keep grinding.

Suffolk Experience: Consumed By Coffee - Duration: 3:00.(coffee grinder whirring)
(bluesy guitar music)
- So you have the whole barista movement.
You have espresso drinks,
special finely-designed lattes and cappuccinos.
There's many different competitors.
(steam hissing)
My name is George Howell and I am el Presidente
of the George Howell Coffee Company.
- George Howell Coffee is a well known
local brand to the Boston area.
They don't have an established marketing department
and they don't have an established marketing person.
- We approached Suffolk because we saw a great article
about the students and the projects that they did
for Roche Brothers that is almost across the street from us.
We just really felt that the students
at Suffolk would have a lot of insight
on how we could improve our business in our cafes.
- First of all, what we did is to have our clients come
to the classroom to meet with our students.
- 10 percent of consumers drink black coffee.
- Following that up they had the experience
of a cupping event which is like
tasting different types of coffee,
what George Howell culture is about,
what they value the most in their products.
- So asking Rebecca those questions really gave me more
of a idea of like what's happening.
Like, what are their customer expectations?
What are their employee expectation?
- We dedicate a lot of time
to our staff being educated on coffee.
- Being here for the cupping event and being able to talk
to Rebecca about it was very helpful
especially in our research and things that I couldn't
have found in secondary research or in even primary research
I found just through experience over here.
- So here is our retail selection.
- It's a great honor for us to be able to do it.
It's our first big kind of client.
- One of the biggest goals of our marketing department
is to incorporate as many experiential
learning projects as possible.
- It's so eye-popping. - [George] Yeah.
- It's just been a challenge for us.
- So we are just preparing them to have that experience
even before becoming professionals themselves.
- [Rebecca] So what would you have us do as an example?
- We do actually recommend that you use an app
because consumers see convenience.
- The thing that really enthused me the most,
and I was enthused, was the use of media.
- So from social media we believe it's really important
to increase the exposure you guys have.
But we're gonna focus on two platforms:
Instagram and Facebook.
- It was wonderful to see that schools like Suffolk
teach real life situations,
and they really came up with some great ideas.
- Being here today there are things
we can move on very quickly.
- Thank you very much. - Thank you.
- Thank you. - Great.

How should you drink your coffee | All the angles - Duration: 4:32.Coffee
a beverage that popular that it could be your name.
Spell it incorrectly though and you are off to the Green Mile.
In this episode we're gonna talk about this brown liquid that everyone is consuming.
But is it good for your health, is it bad, will it bring your girlfriend back, can it cure cancer,
who knows these things?
I do, so here are all the angles regarding coffee…
Or at least some of them.
A while ago, when I was working as a bartender, a woman walked inside and ordered one cappuccino.
Decaf, with less foamed milk, more steamed milk, of course low-fat, 3 drops of stevia, cinnamon on top.
And of course everyone laughed joyfully at her jest. She was serious!
That, my friends, is either a woman that knows exactly what she wants, or she is as stupid as a cabbage,
but because of that anorexic Teletubby, now we have the chance to have a discussion
and see the different aspects of coffee.
So, let's start with the first one, decaf.
It is safe to consume 400mg of caffeine per day, that is more or less 4 cups of coffee.
A cup of decaf coffee contains approximately 3 mg of caffeine.
But unless you are caffeine intolerant maybe you should go for the real deal,
because caffeine is one of the healthiest substances out there.
And though in both normal and decaf coffee you get almost the same amount of antioxidants and nutrients,
by removing the caffeine you miss on some of the beneficial aspects of it.
Only with normal coffee can you have your mood and reaction time improved,
an increase in metabolic rate and fat burning, an enhanced athletic performance and a reduced risk of end-stage liver damage.
As you might have noticed there is nothing about studying in this charts,
and that is because caffeine makes memorizing tasks much more difficult.
Caffeine is very good for exercising but if you want to study, then maybe you should go for sugar,
because sugar is the food of the brain.
Which brings us to the next subject, should you drink your coffee with sugar,
or with saccharine or stevia?
So here is a funny thing
Yes it's true, stevia and saccharine have more or less 0 calories, but, they actually make you fatter.
And that is because of the way the body works, immediately when you taste something sweet,
you'll start producing insulin. But there is no sugar inside of you.
So, your body will have to create that sugar for you.
And how will it do that?
By breaking down parts of the food that it wouldn't normally break down.
DO you know what happens to all that food?
IT IS TURNED INTO FAT.
So unless you are diabetic, maybe you shouldn't put too much thought to it,
the same things goes for the milk, low-fat, whole-fat….
You can not base your diet around coffee.
But all this time we are talking about cups, so what is a cup of coffee?
Is it the mug that you have inside your house,
is it the thing that Harry Potter gets every time he wins the Quidditch thingy thingy,
or is it the SI official breasts size measurement unit?
Unfortunately, we are not living in this ideal world that you can just go to a girl and say
"Hey, can I have your bra, I want to see how much caffeine this cup has".
Here are a few numbers.
Though many factors affect the caffeine content of coffee, such as the type of coffee beans and the roasting,
we can safely assume that 1 cup of espresso contains about 60 mg of caffeine.
Double the amount for a double espresso, and since cappuccinos, Americanos, lattes and the rest
are practically espressos with varying types and amounts of milk,
the same numbers apply to them.
The amount of caffeine in a cup of instant coffee ranges between 30 to 90 mg.
Usually commercial brands are more caffeinated than normal, so, for example,
a Starbucks espresso shot contains 75 mg of caffeine and their brewed coffee starts with 180 mg of caffeine at short size,
ranging up to 415 mg at venti size.
Those were some of the angles concerning coffee,
subscribe to Tomi channel so you will not be missing the next "All the angles" and follow me on Instagram and Facebook.
Nothing is beneficial in extreme portions, so coffee like the rest, should be consumed responsibly.
I wish there was something magnificent about it, like that it can cure Alzheimer and actually,
there are some studies that support this but most of those studies are speculations and there are not really proven.
Take it easy.
Make the coffee the way you like it and listen to your body,
because your body will tell you if you need a little bit more, a little bit less.
Enjoy the small things in life and though coffee can not bring your ex-girlfriend back,
you can always accidently spill a little bit of coffee, you know, on the pants of her new boyfriend,
just before prom night.
And now that you have some facts it is up to you to think and decide for yourself.

Is this a cafe or forest? Savoring Vietnamese coffee! [Battle Trip/2017.01.28] - Duration: 5:55.(6 ways to enjoy Nha Trang)
(Vietnamese coffee)
- Vietnamese coffee is famous. / - Time for coffee.
Vietnamese coffee is really good.
Vietnamese coffee is famous, right?
- It's a cafe district. / - Yes, coffee.
- This entire area is a cafe district? / - Yes.
(This tranquil street)
(Is a Vietnamese coffee street)
(We have coffee)
That's the cafe we're heading to.
- Here? / - No, this way.
That looks like some primeval forest.
Doesn't it seem real fresh?
It's a rainforest theme.
It's unique.
(How will it look inside?)
(It looks like they're in a forest)
(You can relax in the middle of the city)
Such a wonderful spot has been reserved for us.
It suits the title, rainforest.
Rainforest.
It's so cool.
- Rainforest? / - Yes.
- It's must be a popular place. / - It is.
For me, in Vietnam...
- I have to try coffee with condensed milk. / - Right.
- Coffee with condensed milk. / - I want to have that.
Sua nong is hot coffee.
Sua da is cold coffee.
- I want sua da. / - Sua da no matter what?
That's right. Of course.
You need cold drinks in Vietnam.
I only found out this time round
that Vietnamese coffee tastes so good.
People buy lots of coffee in Vietnam.
It was good.
This is sweet like a mocha.
Their handmade yogurt is famous.
- Okay, good. / - It's refreshing and has fruit in it.
I'll order one each for us.
Isn't it so nice with the trees here?
It's so nice.
I like this place best out of all the places in Nha Trang.
But...
Is the chair uncomfortable?
So pretty.
(Strong espresso and condensed milk with espresso ice)
- I want coffee. / - That was good.
- That ice is so pretty, right? / - It's round.
Jungah, stop falling for them.
Jungah, just sit over here.
(Bac xiu is coffee made with milk)
That yogurt was so tasty.
I really wanted to buy some and bring it home.
Coffee is $2.10.
I like this cup.
The cameraman drank this
so I was wondering why he placed it so it leans.
But it was the cup that's crooked.
This is just like me.
- This has my personality. / - Why?
I'm always crooked.
(I'm crooked)
(She enjoys the crooked coffee)
My pupils are trembling.
It really opens up your eyes.
It's very sweet, isn't it?
You crave sugar at times like that.
- That's right. / - It has the right amount of sugar.
- It's good, right? / - Yes.
There's cocoa powder at the bottom.
The coffee's good here.
Good!
The unique thing is...
You drip the coffee here.
(Drip coffee from grounded beans)
(Stir to melt and mix in the condensed milk)
(Pour it onto the espresso ice)
- It's so good. / - It really was good.
It looks so good.
The espresso is good too.
Does it make your eyes open wide?
It's a new taste.
It's good.
Right?
- Right? It's good, right? / - Yes.
It's good.
I don't really like espresso that much.
It's too strong.
- But with the condensed milk... / - With strong...
Mixed in, and drinking it cold...
- It's good. / - Yeah.
Let's try the yogurt now.
It's $3 for yogurt.
They have so much fruit.
(How does fruit yoghurt taste?)
It's good.
Vietnamese food is good.
It's really good.
Plus, the fruit in Vietnam are delicious.
- That's right. / - They give you so much fruit.
- Good level of sweetness. / - It's good.
That looks so good.
I got greedy and ordered two.
It's good.
(She got some yoghurt on her)
(Where's my napkin?)
- The thing about Vietnam... / - Yes?

Coffee Talk: Twitter Optimism - Duration: 1:36.- Hi everyone, we're here today to talk about
new data we found out about Twitter.
- Yeah Mark it's interesting,
of course everybody's focused
on Facebook now because of the news
but people haven't necessarily been as aware
of the positive news that's happening on Twitter.
Back in early December we saw sort of a slow
but steady increase in click per post traffic.
And if you look at the gap between those two lines,
I mean that's effectively the clicks per post gap
between Facebook and Twitter.
Back in October, so it was maybe five x difference
between the clicks per post you would get
on Facebook versus Twitter.
Now we're down to maybe two and a half.
This change that we were looking at
on the previous slide is not driven by
a change in post volume, right?
Those tend to hug each other on a continuing,
now you do see of late they seem to be closing a little bit.
It's hard to know whether that's just a anomaly
or maybe that's part of the new realty.
- But Twitter execs have to be encouraged.
- I certainly would think so yeah,
I mean and let's go back to why that happened.
I mean, Twitter has been making changes
and making a number of sort of tweaks
to the way they serve content and clearly,
and this goes back to what we've talked about
time and time again, high quality content matters.
People want professionally produced content
that's worth their time and Twitter has recognized that,
Facebook has recognized it.
Obviously, Facebook's trying to solve
for something different which is its vision
of what the platform was intended for
and more around the personal sharing.
And again, Facebook's voluntary sort of abdication
of some portion of the consumer attention,
they've had great opportunities for Twitter
or any other social platform for that matter.
