Today on Math Hacks, I am showing you the fastest easiest and simplest ways to simplify square roots, so

Roll up your sleeves grab a pencil and paper because we are solving five problems in five minutes

Now the fastest way to simplify square roots is always to look for

Perfect square factors of your number. So we're looking at this square root of 45 here

And the first thing that I notice is that 9 is a factor of 45

So to begin we're going to split

45 into it's two factors, which is 9 times 5

Now something handy you can do is you can rewrite this as

two separate roots

So this is the same as the square root of 9 times the square root of 5

Now once you see this, you may realize that the square root of 9 is 3

And because 5 is prime we can't take the square root of it and get a whole number

So we're just going to leave it as square root 5

All right, and before you know it there you go you've simplified square root 45 into 3 square root 5

Now let's take a trickier number how about something larger like the square root of 216 now this number it may not be as obvious

what factors it has and if any of those factors are perfect squares

So you could just one guess and check here and try to see if the perfect squares go into it

But I want to show you a technique

That is really quick and simple and what you're going to do here is you're going to use a factor tree

Now we've got the complete prime factorization here so you can think of this as

2 cubed times 3 cubed

because we have

Three 2s that we'll multiply together and three threes that we'll multiply together to get

216

One a little trick you can do here is because we are looking for the square root

I'm actually gonna instead of writing it as 2 cubed when I write it is 2 squared times 2

2 to the first but off to write the 1 and

I'm gonna do the same thing with 3. I'm gonna write it as 3 squared times 3

Now that looks a little bit funny but it's actually gonna make it really easy when we go back over to the square roots

And just like in our first example here we can go ahead and split this into separate routes

Now two squared and 3 squared we can simplify they become 2

& 3

Then our last step now is to go ahead and multiply like terms together so that means

2 times 3 here is going to get multiplied together and then the square root of 2 and the square root of 3 can be

multiplied together

When I do that I get 6

square root 6

Once again, I'm going to

Break 28 into two convenient factors. I know that 7 times 4 is 28 and because 4 is a perfect square

that is a great set of factors to simplify 28 into

Once again, we can break these into two separate routes

Now I notice that I have two 7s here. So I'm actually going to combine those back into a square one square root

Conveniently, both of these can be simplified and we get seven times

two

And go ahead and multiply those together so the answer to this one is 14

Now for this example, the quickest way to get started here is to rewrite this as one square root

So whenever you're working with multiplication or division

You can choose to separate the square root or put it together. This is the same as the square root of 72 divided by two

This is really handy because if I divide 72 by two I get the square root of 36

In the square root of 36 is of course six

Our first step is to split it into convenient factors just like we've been doing

Next I can choose to split all of these values into separate square roots

I'm gonna take the square root of whatever I can

There we go, so our square root of 18 over 25 becomes 3 square root 2 over 5, I

I hope that gave you a good feel for the different types of techniques you can use to simplify square roots

Remember that there is no one-size-fits-all

Some techniques just work better with certain numbers than others but they basically all boil down to the same idea

You're looking for those hidden perfect squares and when you find them you can reduce by them

Taloc Guide - Normal and Heroic Taloc Boss Guide - Duration: 3:37.

Hi! I'm Hazel, and this a a guide to the Taloc raid boss in Uldir on Normal and Heroic difficulty.

This is the first boss of the first raid of BfA. He's a Titan Construct that's supposed

to be guarding this place and keeping the scary stuff in. That's clearly going great.

Some first bosses are a bit of a gimme and this is not one of them.

The key to Phase 1 is space management, which is a fancy way to say put your goo with the

other goo. Keep it all together. Plasma Discharge will target several people with these dark

red circles, and they've got about 4 seconds to get out before they start dropping blood

pools. Have a designated side of the room to put

those in, keep them as tight together as possible and if you have a big defensive cooldown consider

using it to run your discharge right on top of the existing blood. Do that at your own

risk though, this stuff hurts. He'll face a direction and cast Sanguine Static,

which fires out these blood waves. Those do damage and a knockback if they get you, which

is even more embarrassing if it kicks you into a blood pool.

Cudgel of Gore is the big tank mechanic, although it's also kind of an everyone mechanic so

don't skip ahead yet. He'll put this arrow over one of the tanks, and after 4.5 seconds

charge their location and smash down his weapon. That clears all Blood Storms in 18 yards so

the tank should run it to the filled part of the room to clear space.

It also does massive raid damage that drops off with distance, so if you're not the tank

you want to be as far from that as you can get. Laying down a raid marker for the blood

drop location and then a safe zone to stack during Cudgel on the opposite side make this

easy to coordinate. 20 seconds or so after dropping his weapon,

he'll regret his decision and use Retrieve Cudgel. The boss charges to the location of

his weapon, doing big damage and a knockback to anyone in his way. Don't be in his way.

At 60% health we move into Phase Two. The floor starts descending and this is officially

an elevator boss. You can fall off the edges and I don't recommend it. During this part

Taloc is Powered Down, taking 99% less damage and having a little break. He won't attack

so don't worry about him for a bit. Uldir Defensive Beams will criss cross the

elevator shaft. Look down around the edge of the platform and you'll see them coming.

They'll pass through the platform as you descend and they're devastating if you get hit, so

check where they are and be somewhere safe. That gets trickier when you factor in the

main elevator mechanic, which is a fun set of new adds.

Coalesced Bloods will spawn and leave Blood patches under them as they move. A tank should

pick them up and slowly drag them around the border of the platform while everybody nukes

them down. Healing and add positioning is way easier in this phase if everyone stacks

up, so form a tight group near the edge of the platform, keep an eye on incoming beams

and move together. Volatile Droplets will fixate a player and

ooze towards them, which should be towards the stack if everyone is grouped. When they

touch any player they'll pop and disappear, doing some damage and a 5 yard knockback.

The off tank or anybody that's free and can take the hit should run forward into the add

to pop it before it reaches the group. Make sure that you're at least 5 yards clear of

other players and also the edge to avoid kicking yourself or your friends to their deaths.

The elevator phase is by far the most difficult part of this fight, so if you can get through

that you're doing great. When the elevator is almost touched down, you can jump off the

last bit yourself to avoid getting stunned. Once you're at the bottom the boss wakes up

and you enter the final Phase. This is basically just Phase 1 but with more space, and the

fixate adds from the elevator will continue to spawn.

Keep in mind that you can stun them and that the damage from running into them is honestly,

fine as long as you're topped off in health and not bursting them near stacks of players.

Aside from that, keep your hat on, group up the blood, avoid the Cudgel of Gore and you've

got yourself a dead boss. This fight is mechanically identical between

normal and heroic, which should make this a reasonable fight for Normal guilds and Pugs

to farm on heroic for loot. Once your raid's learned how to manage the blood pools the

biggest thing will be the DPS check of killing adds quickly.

So, that is Taloc in Uldir. Thanks for watching! If this video helped you out please consider

leaving me a like. Check out my channel for more raid guides and other WoW stuff and have

a wonderful, wonderful day! Bye.

Noturnall - Unplugged Road Life - Episode 01 - Last Wish/Georgia Guide Stones/Mobile Recording - Duration: 14:15.

Well, Noturnall is here at the Georgian Guidestones,

in the United States.

And we have come to portray

something that served as inspiration for our third record, "9",

for an interesting reason.

These mysteries that surround human beings,

and when a certain group of people

come together in favor of a set of ideas

for changing the world.

That's exactly what our band does, is what we've got here:

some commandments, so to speak, from a group of people

who believe in the Age of Reason,

and those guys didn't want to be identified,

we can't know who settled these rocks.

The guy's name is R. C. Christian,

and it says to be a pseudonym.

Much is speculated about who were those people.

This tech label says they are people

who pursue the Age of Reason.

That's exactly what Noturnall seeks inside music.

And here at these stones, which inspired us in that matter,

there's this case of an age mostly driven by reason.

There are several commandments,

all of them are quite reasonable,

commandments that one is likely to agree with mostly.

But there's one that draws attention,

the first one, a shocking start:

We should not maintain humanity

above 500,000,000 inhabitants.

Considering we are currently about 7,000,000,000 people worldwide,

imagine what these guys have in mind

so that the world shouldn't exceed 500,000,000 people.

There are four plaques,

with a central one on top holding them,

eight different languages saying these commandments,

and there is also several geographic features.

They wanted to do something similar

to the Greek and Egyptian people,

who had this thing.

For example, the hole on the center of this rock,

you can check over the Sun as it reaches solstice.

Then you have the spots

where the sunlight passes and draws

where the Sun is going through the year

so you can tell the month you're in.

It's a totally enigmatic monument.

It's really...

a jaw-dropping thing.

You have to be here to realize

what is this feeling

that you get around here.

And of course, these are granite rocks,

they retain energy in a way that is different from other rocks.

Just by being here, you get this freak sensation.

We made some live sound here today,

with IK Multimedia equipment.

We decided to caputre it for real,

in order to try to bring into your house

what we felt when we were playing here.

It was really amazing,

one of the most unique feelings I've had in my life.

Well, we are here in the first episode

of a five-episode series from Noturnall with IK Multimedia.

I'm Fernando Quesada, Noturnall's bass and acoustic guitar,

and I'm here today to talk about

the mobile studio and mobile recording,

which works as a studio you can take everywhere.

In our case, we are traveling with Noturnall around Tennessee,

the cradle of rock and country music,

where we're shooting five videoclips

in some really cool touristic and historical spots.

We're also going to talk about these touristic spots,

the history and culture of country, blues and rock music.

And of course, we'll talk about how we made these records

since it's something different from the usual,

to be able, without socket, electricity and all of that,

to record more than 10 channels like we did, with drums included.

Our formation was drums, two acoustic guitars,

one of the songs had an acoustic bass,

plus lead vocals and two backing vocals.

That's a list of several channels,

to be mobile recorded.

And for that, we've got equipment from IK Multimedia,

which is today's most enabling brand for this kind of recording,

not only for the hardware we have here,

but also for the software and applications,

whether for iPad, iPhone, as also for computer.

You may see I'm using both laptop and iPad,

and I also use iPhones when recording.

I'll explain on this first episode a little about the setup

that we chose for these recordings,

so we can understand what equipment we'll use,

and if you've got a band, if you're an artist

and intend to go out there making your own records,

I'm sure this is the best choice

for the quality and the functionality

in your recordings.

So, let's introduce our setup.

Here I'll talk about interfaces,

about microphones,

softwares and appications,

supports and monitors, OK?

Basically that's what we use on a complete recording.

We've got the laptop here, which we use as our workstation,

so we take everyting we recorded from other devices

and place them inside a DAW.

The monitors, as you see we are in-house,

when we travel to make a mobile record,

usually we are hosted in a hotel, a house or apartment,

and we are able to set it up as a little work base,

where we can use it like a home studio,

for organizing the ideas after we are back from recording,

backup files, listen to how it sounds and so on,

so you organize things the best you can.

Here I've got the iLoud monitors,

they're from IK Multimedia too.

These ones are considered the smallest monitors

with the best studio definition currently available in the market.

They are really good monitors,

they've got a very good volume for monitoring

and checking the quality for real.

And when in mobile recording, for mixing and mastering,

you can also use them as your reference.

I'm using a computer for this.

Here I've got an iPad,

this iPad here has Amplitube running.

Amplitube is one of the applications we use

both in recording and mixing.

An iKlip, which is a holder to these iPads, sometimes to iPhones.

This one is for iPad, we use it while recording,

also from IK Multimedia.

And here at the center I've got the keyboard.

This keyborad is nice because it's also an interface,

it fits in that category.

In our case, Juninho played with it

and recorded straight on his phone, using SampleTanke,

which is a virtual instrument app also from IK Multimedia,

and plugged it directly in his phone for recording

both MIDI and Audio by using this one,

which is the iRig Keys,

one of the interface keyboards from the brand.

So, basically this is what we used here

in our entire recording:

iLoud reference monitors;

applications such as SampleTank and Amplitube,

which we used both in iPad and iPhone;

the controller keyboard, already as interface;

microphones - lapel, XLR and condenser,

for the acoustic guitars;

and the interfaces,

Pro Duo, HD2 and Pro I/O,

which enabled us to sum enough channels to record drums,

two acoustic guitars, acoustic bass,

and three vocals.

So, in the next episodes, you'll check out

how was the plugging of all this equipment,

and get the best out of your sound.

Scum - How to Craft in Scum - Scum Starter Guide (New Survival Game) - Duration: 11:10.

hey guys welcome back to scum this is a quick craft gauge to get you

started and scum no I that do a quick start guide previously a base that the

game we just released we wanted to get something out just usual gameplay is

realized some of the mechanics no I'm gonna show you how to get first of all I

stole knife spears and a backpack

no this is a quickest way to do it that I've found so far I have tried different

ways this is by far the quickest that I can find if there's a lot quickly then

by all means put a comment below and let me know but for me this is the best I

could do no basically face of rocks no check your

facility there's only one rock there but when your pants and failing are set of

rocks like so you'll probably see a lot of cuts in this as well because I want

to make sure that it's not super long when did know all you doing you got two

rocks left click on bosses go red then right-click then craft a stone knife no

this is important because you need to store knife to harvest the bush

so let us craft up you're also quite nope in pristine cloves if you're gonna

bandage easily align it makes your clothes of pristine because you're

getting fated okay so keep these cloves even though you're not going to use them

later on but we'll go more into that sand no take this and put it into your

inventory like so no you want to find a bag verse like this note it this and if

we just cut this bush up does take a lot at a time but we're looking for long

sticks okay so let's cut fro and we should get some

long steps from this if I just left quick and small small long long rate so

if we go to crafting no because they're in the facility of where we are we can

and provides wooden spear craft does take a lot of time to do this so make

sure and all zombies or puppets as people call them and run about you're

ready up because they will just run up and stop knocking shut earlier

then we wanted me to just to be safe you can't make free no one in your hands but

four times secretly used to know with rustic crafts then when you back to this

bet when it's in your facility you can go to the Spiros

well she's not sure that the second years will spew double-quote

double-quote get the English and your inventory you can drag one into your

hands as well to your front no if we check the map because the next

part we're going to need to get some cloves and the best fainting it claws

off of the zombies no finance probably close us down here cuz what try find a

small weak zombie the here one two one down by that car no other doesn't we're

not gonna sense a car because I thought it find something that's gonna take

their cell Alain I like to be as if it was definitely how you would start no

using by having one get spear ready cuz if you see one of the embouchure they

try and bring them across to you know there should be one over here because

it's a port and these always harvest some sort of zombie roaming around all

the tones to no see if I can just find one over here yeah there's one up there

no want to try and find a really fun a crappy one because you're won't be able

to kill him shit off the back there are quick tip if you move backwards they

can't actually hit you so basically to do this as get attention run away get

them to shisha isolate a zombie because other zombies will fall all looking

you're too close so what you do is you can go for a straight head shot or you

can hit him like so get its attention and just to get one hat on them to

suddenly do not throw your spiel that like I just did by accident

let's go back out come one hat then get it and drill it into them though run

back and a facility if you all wouldn't speak that's a good

little tip when he's close to you you can just don't clap in a facility again

she's not doing that Greek damage to me how us at Freddie's head okay so an

obscenity again I'm just grab another spear interesting case and our puppet

comes tick like so I'm gonna search this zombie no this is all real time the only

cuts I'm doing if I do any are further tamers and what sure just how quick you

can do this right so you wait eek any items that are good to you know that

jacket it's by jacket that's going to get me more pockets I can wear or

something so I take that they can open I'll take that because I need it and

we're gonna cut this into rags now see they'll just cut up no well I said

earlier if you cut these and to rags they're gonna be clean rags because

their pristine for less I'm probably gonna cut them up and use them because I

need them to be honest and the jins' hold more space so we are going to cut

these into rise as well but he's much rags as poor someone first next part

will cut my trousers up as well after less

right so us gave us plenty next we're going to cut these into red strips three

five right strips so two from that then we'll cut this one up as well we may

actually kill 2 zombies to get this one he didn't have very good stuff while I'm

too modest unless he shoes or any of his rags don't fight the world but then mate

maybe they're lucky all right so look at that let me just check so crafting and

face bag yeah well one you're short of fact rope so now we're gonna go to never

got off rags we're gonna go to and provides rope which is up here because

we can't find a rope at the Manor ok craft and provides rope that's a Sawbuck

in face that bender back together so we'll just let that bone together and

hopefully we show enough for this bag now if that's off one zombie then even

better know we're still missing one rag so if we go back to this at this list

let's cut this into rags no it's not gonna let's do it ok so next we are

going to try and find another puppet so get a spirit again there is another one

over here so we just need one right and we've got

a bag no obviously if you can by all means search these houses as well and

they'll help my supper right here one yes yep

and one headshot kills them but I messed his head there right so back to a

facility double click and double click it's not

getting a lot of damage to it that needs be get my pork that stuns them drop it

strength his head and done now we've got another one behind us so we're gonna be

careful here try and get almost real head Oh what head shot done no we'll

search both them all see we can get from them now you see pin points from that as

well which is even bear so again I play chess today which was

extremely difficult now I've done some research has become a

lot easier no there's nothing in here that we

really need no we can take the scissors but we're gonna cut this into rags it's

a lot well just make sure they're zombies out in the earth drove a smart

ass because it would peel for you know which crafting and what use a fake knife

away from provides rope over here yeah that that's the only failure at this

game now facebook always go into your hopper so bear that in maine so that's a

good thing that happened so improvised rope should still be over here when they

killed that last one I'm a true just check for sanity again nope

yeah I don't know what killed them and there's not always sure right no play

sure it's not a problem because we've got plenty rags here so we can cut them

all back up brothers I will quit the car and Todd got all the rags back again

then we'll quickly make this bike because improvised rope has a tenth

Amendment area so I've now got them provide Rock again so that's one thing

you need to really bear in mind that you can actually not take it efforts not

always check the facility because everything goes tests say you have to

drag it and better anoints but as to where as no you can see it's been an

extremely quick and no we are crafting about simple as that no this game as

very difficult but if we can make it easier by anyway ships and means then

great this has helped me massively progress in the game now the same focus

for everything else at UC I will try and do about more and depth gauge of

witchcraft fast except off but the two Spears the stone knife and the bag are

the key things you want to get because if you want to start fighting and

defending yourself you need it again go back into their drop went out slot there

you go you no inane slots so in a space of there

are 10 minutes something I've got 9 15 14 15 16 17 18 19 slots so there you go

and you think oh that's rough for me and move on an advance just take a scrap

just in case I need it at some point done so guys that is a quick guide to

walk you can actually get very quickly and how to get it so all this helped has

helped me a hell of a lot and I just spit i literally just sat and studied

the craft and gate it was sent to us what to be Aquis and what to how to get

stuff very quickly no key things to note from this are when you're trading up

zombie or pop it try and get a very small one a little really fun one

because the fat ones can be quite tricky always drag them away isolate them then

kill them you see what happened I killed the second one though another one riding

on the run behind me so drag them to an isolated area and kill them off so guys

thanks for watching I will try and get more gates out as soon as I can and I'll

see you in the next one

Antaroth's Abyss - Guide - Duration: 20:37.

Hi guys, Other here and welcome to Antaroth's Abyss dungeon guide, but first I am gonna

make pancakes!

Now when that is done, let's start with first boss.

First boss appearance wise is similar to Nagas from Island of Down.

He also shares a lot of similarities with bosses from "Kalivan's Dreadnaught" and "Saravash's Ascent".

If you have a hard time telling if the boss is enraged or not, you can look at

his HP bar, when the bat is flashing RED, he is enraged.

Now, the first boss has 6 normal attacks that can be i-framed or blocked.

Attack 1,

Attack 2,

Attack 3,

Attack 4,

Attack 5

and Attack 6

Now, let's move to his special attacks, and he has 4 of them.

First one is AoE, which means that he hits everyone around him.

Getting hit by this attack will knock you down.

This can be i-framed.

Second one is TANK only attack, and with this attack he pushes tank back.

Third one is small circle that he puts on one of the party members, this attack can be blocked or i-framed.

Fourth attack is basic „In-Out".

Now there are 2 variants of this attack.

To know which one of these two variants boss will use, you need to pay attention to his backstep.

Which means if he backsteps, he will do an outer AoE followed by Inner AoE.

If the Boss doesn't backstep he will do an inner AoE followed by an outer AoE.

Next we have 4 key mechanic.

" Ice patch, Delete this ,Massive In-Out and Double AoE. "

First key mechanic is "Ice patch".

The way it works is boss targets one of the party members with small red circle that is

filling up.

After the circle fills up, which is really fast , "Ice patch" will appear.

Now, you need to place that "Ice Patch" away from the boss, however not too far away, because

you will need it for "Delete This" mechanic. Which I will explain now.

Second mechanic Delete This starts when text „Your flesh will be deleted„ appears

on the screen. The boss will first do wide AoE attack that needs to be i-framed.

If you fail to i-frame this you will be knocked into the air unable to move.

He will follow this up with a "Fire Breath" at the furthest target.

The targetted person will be the one with secondary aggro, this person needs to go in the

"Ice Patch" and let the "Ice Patch" stack to 3 before the boss shoots his laser.

If someone didn't manage to i-frame this, they will be the target.

However if everyone managed to i-frame this attack, the target will probably be the healer.

"Fire Breath" is just the heavy hitting laser attack, and can be mitigated.

Well geared classes with damage reducing moves like warrior, will most likely be able to

facetank this laser during enrage.

Lancers can use divine protection or guardian barrier to block for teammates who got knocked

up or didn't reach the Ice Patch in time.

In hard mode, he does two lasers back to back instead of one.

Pro tip: Confident healer should make sure to move away from the boss while i-frameing

the AoE.

The healer should grab the secondary aggro so all the dps have free back time on the boss

Third key mechanic is Massive in-Out.

This mechanic depends on bosses enrage status.

First part of this mechanis is whole map AoE attack that needs to be i-framed.

Second part is the in-out mechanic.

So, if the boss is enraged it will be: Big AoE, Inner AoE, Outer Aoe.

If the boss is not enraged it will be: Big AoE, Outer Aoe, Inner AoE.

However de damage here is minimal, and it's very hard to I-frame, so even if you take

the damage, you will be fine.

Fourth and final key mechanic for the first boss is called Double AoE.

For this mechanic boss will put a circle around every party member, dps needs to stack on

each other while tank moves back from the boss.

Healers can stack wherever they want.

While you are inside of circle boss will do AoE outside of circle.

Ater that AoE is finished you need to i-frame out of circle, because boss will do AOE in it.

Second boss of this dungeon is same type as the first boss of "Forsaken Island".

Second boss has 4 normal attacks.

First attack is swipes!

He will do a left slash followed by a right slash and then he does swipe attack

There are 4 variants of swipe, which depend on his HP bar status.

Variant 1: If his HP is above 50% he will only do left side swipe.

Variant 2: If his HP is below 50% he will do left swipe followed by right swipe.

Variant 3: If his HP is above 50% he will only do right side swipe.

Variant 4: If his HP is below 50% he will do right swipe followed by left swipe.

You can easily notice this by looking at his shoulders.

Second attack is Two Slash attacks followed by a Stab attack and a Wave attack.

Now there are 2 variants of this attack!

He will either start this attack chain with left slash attack or right slash attack.

Rest of the attack is always same.

Getting his by this attack gives you a debuff, which can be cleansed, so don't worry about it.

Third attack is very similar to his second attack.

Boss will do Right Slash, followed by 2 left slashes and cross attack.

Fourth and the final normal attack of Second boss is aslo similar to 2nd and 3rd attack,

however for this attack he will do two right slashes, then he will turn to DPS and do sword

smash with his right sword and follow it up with shockwave.

Second boss has five special attacks.

First special attack is Circles into Outer Donut.

The boss will put circles on everyone.

Those circles will then slightly disappear and then reappear again.

After they reapper again, you need to you need to i-frame and then get close to the boss

because he will follow up by an outer AoE circle.

Getting hit by the first circle will stun you, this is followed by the boss targeting that person.

This can be avoided if the healer is quick on cleansing.

Second special attack is Stun Blast.

The boss will aim with both of his swords down and then smash them into the ground to

put a big stun AoE around himself.

This AoE will hit tank in front of the boss and DPS behind the boss.

If you fail to i-frame this you will be stunned and the boss will then target you.

However the stun can be cleansed by healer.

Third special attack is Sword tornado.

The boss will lower his swords and then start spinning.

This can be blocked and iframed.

Fourth special attack is Jump into Wawe.

The boss will jump at a party member, stunning whoever gets hit by the jump.

Then he will do a wave attack targeting the person he originally jumped at.

Which means if that person has gone behind the boss he will spin.

Target should stay in front of the boss to avoid turning him.

Wave has huge hitbox, which means that the wave will hit DPS behind the boss.

Pro tip: Healers should always be prepared to cleanse the stun received by the Jump,

and to cleanse bleed efect coused by wave attack, and after that to heal the party members.

Fifth and final special attack is Random Wave.

The boss will put secondary aggro on one of the DPS or the healer and then he will attack

them with a Wave attack.

This puts a cleansable debuff on the people who got hit.

Second boss has only one Key Attack, and it's called Debuffs.

Now the boss really does have one key mechanic, however it isn't a simple one.

Let's start.

Boss will from time to time perform an attack that gives a debuff.

This attack MUST hit a party member or he will immediately wipe whole party, however if

you take 2 stacks of this debuff you immediately die.

Before you start the boss, assign each person a number from 1 to 5.

Each time the boss does this mechanic, have the corresponding player take the debuff while

everyone else i-frames it.

Repeat this in order, so that one person is taking the debuff on every mechanic.

If people are down, it's ok to take the hit while you already have the debuff.

Yes you will die, but the boss won't wipe whole party.

He signals this mechanic by saying "Sacrificial Target Selected". After he says this, he gains

a colored puddle ( Red or Blue ) effect under his feet.

Pay attention to this to figure out where to stand!

If the puddle is Red, he's going to attack in a circle around him with the debuff.

Everyone needs to get out to dodge, except the cursetaker who stays in.

If the puddle is Blue, he's going to attack a large donut around him with the debuff.

Everyone stays in and continues dps, except the cursetaker who runs out to

take damage.

In hard mode: He does this more often as you lower his HP.

Below 20% he can do it so fast that people have to suicide because everyone can have the debuff.

In normal mode: Frequency of this is quite forgiving, it's possible to even rotate it

between 4 people instead of all 5.

Third boss of this dungeon is the hardest one.

Several of his attacks grant Mana Burst debuff.

This debuff gives you 4% more damage taken per every stack, up to 5 stacks.

Debuff persists even after death.

When boss' HP drops below 50%, he will get 5 minute debuff.

This debuff is basically wipe timer, because if it expires Antaroth gets impossibly high attack

and attack speed.

This is Hard Mode only.

Third boss has 5 normal attacks.

First attack is Two Upwards Sword Slashes.

Second attack is One Upwards Sword Slash.

Third attack is Two Downwards Sword Slashes.

Fourth attack is Sword slash from above.

and fifth attack is Blue Ball.

Third boss has 5 special attacks.

First attack is Jump.

There are 2 type of this attack, either jump on primary aggro, or jump at secondary aggro.

If you get hit by this jump, you need to be cleansed, if not boss will do spin attack

and kill you.

Getting hit by either of these attacks stacks Mana Burst.

Second attack is Front hammer into Back hammer.

Boss eyes will flash red for a second.

This attack is not blockable or i-framable and getting hit by it stuns.

If someone was hit yet wasn't cleansed of the stun, boss will do spin attack.

Both hammer hit attack and spin attack stacks Mana Burst.

Third attack is Two up, Two up, Back hammer.

Same as second attack, just that it it only hits one to the back.

This attack stacks Mana Burst.

Fourth attack is special Blue Ball.

(Hard Mode and Normal Mode are different). There are 3 seperate beam throw mechanics

in hard mode.

The first one is the simplest, he gives secondary aggro to the furthest target, holds the orb

out to them, then throws a beam at them.

The second one is identical to the first one, but it's a resurrection proc.

If anyone tries to cast resurrect (resurrection scrolls count!) he can target them with secondary

aggro, hold out the orb, and toss a beam.

These can be casted back to back, which will really hard for healers.

The third one is random Blue Balls.

He turns to a random target, also that target will not revice secondary aggro.

He faces this target, holds out the orb, punches, then tosses a beam at them.

In normal mode there is no resurrect proc.

However he will still target the furthest player with secondary aggro, hold out an orb,

and throw a beam at them.

Instead of random Blue Balls from HM, in NM he will always target the tank.

This attack stacks Mana Burst on the beam.

Fifth attack is Teleport back.

He teleports back and uses either Front hammer into Back hammer, or Spin.

If someone is hit by hammers and not cleansed, the boss uses spin attack.

Every hit of these stacks Mana Burst.

Third boss has 7 Key Attacks. First one is Mana Burst.

When "Dispersing collected mana!" appears on the screen

Antaroth will do whole room AoE attack that can not be i-framed.

This attack deals 30k flat damage per stack of Mana Burst on targets.

It also applies a nasty MP reducing debuff which needs to be cleansed fast.

This attack cleanses all stacks of Mana Burst.

Second one is Red Magic.

Boss charges up his sword and then does a series of 4 attacks:

Thrust – This attack can be blocked and i-framed. Applies Mana Burst.

Spin – This attack can not be blocked but it can be i-framaed.

Applies Mana Burst and heavy bleed effect that can be cleansed.

Half circle blast – This attack can not be i-framed, it deals lethal damage.

Series of AOEs – Which is Hard Mode only attack.

This attack can not be i-framed, hits for 100% of targets HP.

This attack can be survived with shields.

There are two versions of this series.

Version 1: Thrust, clockwise Spin, Half blast on bosses left side, AOEs from in to out.

Version 2: Thrust, counter clockwise Spin, Half blast on bosses right side, AOEs from out to in.

One of ways to avoid this, is to be far away from the boss.

At least 25-30 meters.

This attack is used below 90% of boss' HP.

Third one is Expanding puddles.

Boss will summon 3 expanding puddles (5 if it's a hard mode), which deal high amount of

damage with their edges.

This you need to I-frame towards center of puddles, or run away.

It's a good idea to stand closer to boss so no puddle spawns directly on you.

This attack can not be blocked, and it is used under 75% of the bosses HP.

Fourth one is No Escape.

(This is Hard Mode only mechanic). Boss will call out "Escape option disabled."

After that he will cast AOEs on every party member.

Getting hit by this AoE applies long stun debuff to player that is hit and creates a

small breakable cage around them.

These aoes are followed by several medium damage room-wide attaks, which can not be

I-framed!

Tanks can block these attacks and provide 70% damage reduction to nearby party members.

This attack is used below 80% of bosses HP.

Fifth one is Light and Dark.

Boss will call out "Enter your final words now."

Immediately after boss will teleport to middle of room and start casting room wide wipe attack.

5 orbs get summoned on edges of room, 3 Light and 2 Dark and each player will get a debuff:

2 Light and 3 Dark.

Players are able to deal damage to opposite color of their debuff.

Breaking an orb grants a invincibility buff to one nearby player, use this to survive

attack he's casting.

Destroy the orb when runes start to appear on the spell circle.

Lancers can skip this mech for whole party by using both Guardian's Barrier and Divine Protection at the end of it.

This attack is used below 70% of bosses HP.

Sixth one is Attack of the clones.

Boss will call out "Patience not found.", and then players will get slow debuff on them,

ater that boss will teleport to middle of the room, and summon 2 clones.

All 3 will teleport in sequence to outer circle of the room, and will either

use small Spin, or Blue Ball random attack.

These attacks apply Mana Burst.

If he teleports to entrance and away from giant portal, he will use Spin.

If he teleports to giant portal thing and away from entrance, he will use Blue Ball throw.

Clones will follow soon after him with same attack as main body used.

This attack is only used below 50% of boss' HP.

Seventh one is Cage with shield.

(This is Hard Mode only mechanic) After boss calles out out "Prepare to be deleted."

He will teleport to middle of room while slowing down each player.

He will cast cage soon after and get a shield.

Each player will get one of 3 debuffs: Red, Blue, Yellow.

Players need to look at their debuff and take slice of same color to refresh their debuff,

if not they will die after it expires.

Boss will cast these slices 3 times and taking slice of same color deals 34% of player's

HP, so healer needs to heal the party during cage.

Boss will also get shield up during this cage, and you need to deal enough damage to him down

to break it, if not he will cast 4th slice and wipe the party.

This attack is only used below 40% of the boss.

[FGO] Quick Guide in Prisma Causeway Event -Part 2 - Duration: 2:45.

Hello Everyone, Welcome to my quick guide to the Prisma Causeway event part 2.

If you have watched my previous quick guide, you will know that this is basically the time

line of what you should be doing at each stage.

Different from part1, this part would be easier, cuz u dont have to fight the Raid bosses

in sequence.

Also, Kuro is useful in part 2, especially for newer players, so feed the experience

card to her before started, you will have to fulfill the mission to ascend she anyway.

So, lets get started.

First, I assume that we finished all the 75 missions in part 1.

We can then go for the story quest.

After that, 6 EX level free quests will be unlocked.

Clear them all for at least one time, that is one of the mission btw.

Then, we need to beat 80 biscuit Golem to unlock the phantom of the operas Raid.

Clear the Raid for 6 times, then K.O. the boss.

After that, we need to defeat 5 large enemy, for example, Sprigg80an and Great Dragon,

to unlock the Edward, Teach Raid Quest.

Clear the Raid for 6 times, then K.O. the boss.

After beating the black beard, you have to beat 5 scholar-type fake servants, the Gilles

Raid will be unlocked.

Again, clear the Raid for 6 times, then K.O. the boss.

Moving on, beat 15 male servants and open the Diarmuid Quest.

Clear the Raid for 6 times, then K.O. the boss.

I dont wanna give too much spoiler, I would say that you will have one more Raid boss

to fight and you can clear the raid after 8 times.

Then, we can clear the unclear missions.

Again, no spoilers, you also need to beat one special final quest.

Look forward to that and it might be harder for some new comers, but feel free to use

command spell on that.

The only thing left for the event is to farm the event items in the EX quests.

Thats all I wanna say for this event.

Hope you guys doing do good in the banner.

I might do some more pulls later, will see.

Anyways, thank you for watching, I will see you guys in my next video.

Dude Where's My Car? | GTA Online Vehicle Access Guide | Get the car you want when you want - Duration: 11:53.

Hi this is Trance1999 with a video on getting access to all your personal vehicles in GTA5 Online.

I've been playing a little while but every now and then something will happen where

when you go to Request Personal Vehicle, it'll say that you don't have one. It Sucks!

And before I knew what to do, I was having to basically waste time stealing an

NPC car, drive it to my garage and then take my main car out of the garage to make it my

primary vehicle again. There's an easy way to fix this, but when I first started playing

- I didn't know what it was. Well now I've got a few tips and tricks to share with you

on getting vehicles delivered when you want them, and I'll talk about aircraft too.

I'm also going to cover a few other scenarios, like impounded vehicles. Plus 2 cool tricks

that even if you're a seasoned player you might not know about.

I have a lot to cover so let's get to it. Cue the Main title…

In another video I showed a technique on filling up your garage with high value cars really quickly.

And then selling one at the beginning of a session to start out with 8 or 9 grand.

And like I said in that video when you drive a car out of your garage

it becomes your personal vehicle.

And then when you sell it - well then you don't have a personal vehicle any more.

And if you go to request personal vehicle, it says you don't have one.

Maybe you already know this one. There is an easy solution to this. Pull up your phone

and call the mechanic.

"You callin' for some wheels?"

"I'm Johnny on the spot I'll hook you up"

He can bring you any car from any of your garages.

And that car will then become your personal vehicle.

"I'll bring it to ya. Aight? I'll get back to work."

I know that's basic but I didn't figure it out for a while and was doing it the hard way.

So I'm sure some of you guys didn't know it either.

Ok.. So now lets say you do something stupid like I did here.

And destroy your car.

You get your car back by calling Morris Mutual. The insurance company.

If it was completely your fault you'll have to pay the deductible. And it can be expensive.

For this car it was 6500 dollars.

If you have an even more expensive vehicle like a tank or the Deluxo, it's going to be even higher.

I know for the kanjali tank it's around 10 grand. I think for the deluxo it's 20 grand.

So it can be expensive to replace a car that you destroy.

And then if someone else destroys your vehicle they have to pay that deductible.

And that is really a nice deterrent against griefers who go after you

and destroy your car over and over again.

Also there is no charge if you destroy a car when the owner is wanted.

So as a side note if someone is griefing you, put out a warrant for them before you retaliate.

That way you won't get hit with a 20 thousand dollar bill when you defend yourself.

And sometimes it doesn't charge you.

Like if your car gest destroyed on a mission or a job. Then it wont charge you

I play exclusively play on the xbox, but I've heard that they don't charge on the pc version.

Moving on..

Ok the next tip is that anytime it spawns your car for you. For any reason.

It's going to be a clean new fixed version of your car.

So If you're not close to your car and you request it,

when it spawns in it'll be fresh and new.

And in a min I'll show you how to use this feature to get your car cleaned up

without having to go anywhere.

Lets Jump to Impounded cars. Here I got killed while fighting the police.

My car is impounded.

And I'm told that I need to go to the impound lot and pay $250 to get it back.

And it does show me on the map where my car is,

because it is still my personal vehicle.

You have to be careful here because if you get another personal vehicle

either you go into your garage and drive it out or you call the mechanic have it delivered to you

your impounded vehicle will be destroyed. And if that happens you'll have to pay that insurance

fee to get it back.

It says here that you'll "lose it" and if you don't have insurance

on a car I guess that could happen. But any car you purchase comes with insurance

so you don't actually lose it where you'd have to re-purchase it for a million or more.

If it was a car that you just stole from an NCP, and you drive it out of a garage and

it's now your personal vehicle - and you didn't purchase insurance. In that case

you would lose it.

So I thought maybe I could get around that by calling my personal aircraft,

but when I did that it also destroyed my car and I had to pay the 6 grand.

So you can't even use a personal aircraft to go get your car.

There are a couple of ways to retrieve an impounded car. You can go to the impound lot

to get it - maybe just steal an NPC car and drive there.

Once there you pay 250 at the gate, or just jump over the fence and steal it back.

Or if you own an Office you can call your assistant

and she'll have it delivered it to you for 1000 dollars.

And thats what I always do.

"That shouldn't be a problem."

"I'll have your personal vehicle collected as soon as possible."

See a trend here? You're paying millions to buy these vehicles

but then you have to pay to use them,

pay when they're destroyed,

pay to get them out of impound. Hmmm.

And then you grind to get money to afford to do it all again. Anyway..

While we're on the subject, don't forget that while you're a CEO

you have access to CEO vehicles

While you're CEO there are a number of vehicles you can request.

And those don't count as primary vehicles.

So requesting one of these doesn't change your primary vehicle

so you would be able to use that one to drive to the impound lot.

Looking at the map… You can see here that while your primary vehicle is white,

the CEO vehicle is colored.

So you can call a BeeJay here and take that to drive to the impound lot.

If you own a buzzard, the buzzard is also free when you're a CEO.

Just remember that you'll lose access to these vehicles the instant you quit being a CEO

If you're in the middle of a flight in your buzzard and quit as CEO

it'll bail you out of the chopper.

By the way the Buzzard is the most convenient aircraft you can own.

And I have another video that does a full review of the Buzzard.

I said it was convienant.

As a CEO you can request it and it'll instantly appear very close by.

If you're an associate for another CEO

you can also request it for you or them to use while you're in their service.

So it's really handy.

However, all the pegasus aircrafts aren't quite as convenient.

When you purchase aircraft usually it's going to be a pegasus vehicle.

You get these delivered to you by using the phone to call pegasus and paying a small fee.

Of course.

"Hello, pegasus lifestyle management, how can I help you?"

"Your beautiful new aircraft is waiting at our nearest airfield."

The bad thing is Pegasus will deliver the aircraft to really inconvenient places.

For me it kept putting it on top of the hospital, which is about as inconvenient as you can get

One good thing though is that a pegasus aircraft is NOT a personal vehicle.

So your car doesn't despawn when you request a helicopter.

And that can be handy since you'll probably have to drive somewhere to get to it.

The other good thing is that there is no charge when it's destroyed. Because you paid to request it.

If you own a hanger you can convert a pegasus vehicle into a personal vehicle.

Then you can request it in the Vehicles menu instead of using your phone to call pegasus.

It still spawns in seemingly random places

but they are a slightly less inconvenient.

There are maps out there online of all the delivery locations around the map.

But for me, since my office is near the beach, I often use that location.

Or if I'm at my hanger the airport is also a delivery location.

Obviously.

It doesn't take long to learn where the aircraft will be delivered for you.

Just memorize these locations, and head there to make the switch.

And remember you can only have one personal vehicle at a time.

So when you do request that aircraft it will return your car to storage.

And if you're not in the right place you'll end up with no vehicle close by at all.

The next thing I want to talk about is switching back from aircraft to car.

Let's say I request my Savage,

and now want my car back

it doesn't make sense but it'll say that you're too close to your primary or special vehicle.

Let's say that you come here and request your helicopter,

then fly to your bunker and then want your car.

It won't give you the car because you're too close to your special vehicle.

So you have 2 options.

Well, there's a 3rd option I'll tell you about in a minute.

But the first option is that you could just leave that area

on foot, run pretty far away so you're not close to it. But that sucks.

Another option is that if necessary you can just destroy your aircraft

and then you can request your car again.

The only problem there is that destroying your aircraft will get you a wanted level

Plus it'll cost 1000 to replace the aircraft from Morris Mutual.

The 3rd way I'll tell you in a second.

Cool downs.

Just be aware that there can be a cool down period when requesting vehicles.

You can't just do it over and over again.

You might have to wait 2 and ½ minutes between requests.

I've seen some cool downs on requests as much as 4 ½ minutes.

And if you're in the middle of a battle or a job it can be a pain to have to wait.

So just be aware that most of the time when you do request a personal vehicle

it'll be 2 and a half minutes before you can request one again.

And that goes for both aircraft and cars, and calling the mechanic as well

So earlier I promised you a couple of cool tricks and heres the first one.

To do this you do need to have a hanger

so that your aircraft are personal vehicles.

And you can't do this when too close to one of those aircraft spawn points.

But if your car is all banged up and you want a fresh one, you can request your personal aircraft,

then wait for it to tell you it was delivered.

Then you can request your personal vehicle, and (bob's your uncle)

you'll get a completely repaired car right away.

And this also works as a way to change primary vehicles.

Request the aircraft and then call the mechanic to get whatever car you want.

And when I've tried this I haven't had any cool down or waiting periods.

I was able to immediately request my car again right after the aircraft was delivered.

Y-M-M-V.

That means your mileage my vary.

And the second cool trick that I promised

is the 3rd way on switching back from aircraft to car.

I've been playing a while but had never been an MC president before.

It just didn't seem interesting to me.

So I didn't know about any of the abilities you get as an MC President.

But one of the cool abilities is that you can return your primary vehicle to storage.

So here I have my car,

I request my aircraft and wait for it to arrive,

then switch to being an MC President

And now I can return my primary vehicle to storage for free.

Then quit as the MC President

and you can request your car without having to leave the area.

So that's it for this video. I know that was a ton of information.

Thanks for watching.

If you have any additional tips on using your cars or getting access to your vehicles.

or if you just want to talk about your feelings

toss those in the comment section.

Make sure to like and subscribe and all of that stuff.

I'll see you next time.

Well.. I won't SEE YOU - but anyway.

2018 Guide to Reports Training Video - Duration: 29:01.

Welcome to the 2018 M-STEP Reports Webcast for School and District Assessment Coordinators.

This presentation covers the Spring 2018 M-STEP reports that are currently available in the

Dynamic Score Reporting Site which can be accessed through the Secure Site.

If you need access to the Secure Site, please go to www.michigan.gov/mstep

and select the "Secure Site Training Documentation" link that is found under the Professional Development heading.

In this presentation, I will begin by building some background regarding the type of data that is

included in the reports on the Dynamic Score Reporting Site, as well as the difference between the

Overall Performance Levels and the Claim Performance Indicators that are provided on the

English language arts and mathematics reports.

First, I will review the different types of data that are provided in the various reports in the dynamic

score reporting site.

Next, the difference between performance level scale scores and

claim performance indicators is examined and discussed.

Then, you will see what data is included in the student level M-STEP reports, followed by the aggregate level M-STEP reports.

Finally, I will discuss the appropriate use of the data provided in the dynamic reporting site.

There are two types of data reported in the M-STEP reports.

Student-level and aggregate – or group – data.

It is important to note that the type of data determines how the data in a report is appropriately used.

Here we have the two types of data: student level and aggregate. Student level data is data reflecting one student's performance

on the M-STEP. It provides the educator with a snapshot of what a student knows and is able to do relative to

Michigan's Academic standards at one point in time.

Aggregate data reports measure groups of students' performance relative to Michigan's standards at one point in time.

This data can be used to look at program effectiveness, curriculum alignment, how a building's

program is serving students in different demographic groups, or how a program serves students in one grade level over time.

It can also be used to compare program effectiveness within one building compared to another building in the district,

compared against the district as a whole, or even the state.

It is important to note, both student-level and aggregate data are important and necessary

when considering the education schools provide to Michigan students.

However, keep in mind the different types of data are intended for different purposes, and should be used accordingly.

Next, we will discuss Performance Levels and Claim Performance Indicators.

The M-STEP reports provide information on what a student knows and is able to do in a content area as a whole as well for the claims

that are within each content area in mathematics and ELA.

Performance Levels and Claim Performance Indicators are what are used to report this information.

Let's see what you already know. Pause this video and take a moment to write on a scratch paper:

What are Performance Levels, and what are Claim Performance Indicators?

Think about: what they are, how they are the same, and how they are different.

This slide lists and defines each of the overall performance levels.

These are based on the scale scores that determine whether a student scored Advanced, Proficient, Partially Proficient,

or Not Proficient in the assessed content-area.

Each of these Performance Levels are based on what students know and are able to do based on Michigan's content standards.

They are descriptors of content-area performance.

An advanced proficiency level indicates that performance has exceeded grade level content standards;

proficient indicates performance that meets grade level content standards;

partially proficient indicates performance that shows a partial understanding of grade level content standards,

and not proficient indicates performance showing a minimal understanding of grade level content standards.

This is a sample of the Performance Levels as seen on the M-STEP reports.

The scale score ranges for each performance level are shown below the graph.

Also shown on this graph are the Performance Levels – Not Proficient is shown in red, Partially Proficient in yellow,

Proficient is shown in green, and Advanced in blue.

This is an example of the claim performance indicator bar.

This bar provides context to the student's claim performance by showing the

student's claim-level performance relative to the range of possible performance for each claim.

If a student scores "attention" on a claim, the educator can see on the bar where in the range of scores for this indicator the student scored.

This slide shows you the Drill Down path that is a feature of the Dynamic Score Reporting Site. As a note - users can begin drilling down on

any report that has the drill-down feature; it is not necessary to start at the District Comprehensive Report.

The user can select the school name on the District Comprehensive Report to open the School Demographic Report for that school.

The School Demographic Report drill-down enables the

user to select the link in the Number of Students Assessed column to open a Student Roster Report

which includes the students represented in the aggregated group.

While in the Student Roster Report, the user can drill down further by selecting the student name to open

an Individual Student Report.

After a user has selected the link to drill down into the next report, a breadcrumb area appears

below the ISD/District/School entity information.

Each report name in the breadcrumb is an active link.

To return to any previous report, the user selects the report name in the breadcrumb.

Next, we will discuss the M-STEP reports that are available in the Dynamic Score Reporting Site. This slide lists the

aggregate data reports. Aggregate reports report the performance of groups of students and are helpful

to educators in reviewing the effectiveness of programs and curricula in schools.

The Comprehensive Report provides a comparison of student achievement among schools within a district or districts within an

ISD. The Demographic Report provides a comparison of student achievement across

demographic sub-groups such as gender and race or ethnicity.

Both the Demographic Report and the Comprehensive Report summarize the mean scale score and performance levels for the total

number of students assessed.

The Expectation Analysis report provides detailed information on student performance in social studies.

This report shows the number of students falling within identified percentage ranges of points earned over points possible for social

studies only.

The Target Analysis Report provides relative strength and weakness information on target-level performance for

English language arts and mathematics.

The Science Field Test District Summary report is a basic summary report displaying a frequency

distribution of the percent of average - or mean - points earned and where a district falls on the statewide distribution.

The report does not include constructed response results and is not intended to provide any indication of student proficiency.

The data from the field test will be used to determine how well the field test items measure the intended standards.

A note about the Science field test – in 2018 and 2019, the M-STEP science test is a field test.

Results from a field test are not intended to provide information on student achievement. Instead, field test results verify the adequacy of

testing procedures and the statistical characteristics of new test items or new test forms.

Field test data also informs the test development process regarding the quality and performance of the new items based on state

academic standards.

So, the Science Field Test District Summary Report, which will be available after the initial release of aggregate reports, will display district

and state level aggregate raw score data. This report is the only report that contains any science data –

no individual level or other aggregate report contains science field test data.

Next, we will look at the student level data reports.

You can see in this table the title of each report with a short description of each of the student level reports.

The Student Record Labels are printed and sent to schools as sticker-labels for inclusion in the student's CA-60 folder.

Additional copies are available on the Secure Site by selecting Student Record Labels from the Reports drop-down menu.

They summarize student performance levels in each content area assessed.

Individual Student Reports –also called ISRs- are reported by each content area assessed –

a student has a different ISR for each content area assessed.

Parent Reports summarize student achievement by content area and are printed and sent to schools to be delivered to parents.

This report includes a letter from Interim Superintendent Shelia Alles to parents regarding the report results and provides

resources for parents.

The Student Roster provides overall proficiency information for the aggregate groups and for the rostered students,

and it also includes student level achievement data for educators in a sortable form.

Educators can sort by student name, scale score, and ELA or mathematics claim or social studies discipline

while in the Dynamic Score Reporting System.

The last student level report is the Student Overview.

The overview provides scale score, performance level and claim or discipline information in a summary format for all content

areas assessed.

This section will discuss the aggregate level student reports:

which includes the Comprehensive Report, Demographic Report, Target Analysis Report, and the Expectation Analysis Report.

Also included is a preview of the Science Field Test District Summary Report.

This is a sample of the district level comprehensive report.

The comprehensive report contains entity proficiency information by grade and content and is available at the ISD and district levels.

As shown in this example, the All Schools graph displays proficiency information for all schools in the district,

and the user can also select one school (or district, in the ISD report) to view a graph of the school (or district)'s proficiency information.

The school name in blue allows the user to drill down to the School level Demographic Report.

The drill down is only available on the District level Comprehensive Report.

Users can use the comprehensive report to view district or school- wide proficiency information.

The Demographic report provides a comparison of students by grade and content, aggregated across user-selected demographic

groups, showing the percentages proficient at each level.

This slide shows an example of a School Demographic Report.

You can see the graphs on the left highlighting the performance levels according to aggregate group.

The All Students graph is the default view, and users can select any demographic subgroup to display a graph that contains the performance

level data for the selected demographic group.

In the table format, users can view and compare the numbers of students assessed, mean scale score, and percentages of all

students – as well as in each listed demographic subgroup – earning Not Proficient, Partially Proficient, Proficient,

Advanced, and the combined percentage of students earning Proficient and Advanced.

The School Demographic Report includes a drill-down feature that allows users to select the blue number in the Number of Students

Assessed column to open a Student Roster Report.

Next, I will discuss the Target Analysis Report. It is important to note that the Target Analysis Report is not like the other aggregate reports –

it does not report proficiency data. It reports relative areas of strength or weakness as compared to performance by the aggregate

group, on the test as a whole for English language arts and mathematics only.

This report is only available for ELA and math because they are adaptive assessments.

The Target Analysis Report is available at the state, ISD, district, and school levels.

The blue upward pointing triangle indicates an area of relative strength, the yellow circle indicates that an assessment target is neither

a strength nor weakness, and an orange downward pointing triangle indicates a relative weakness –

again, as compared to the aggregate group's performance on the test as a whole.

There is also an asterisk symbol that indicates there is insufficient data to report.

On this report, in order to make a valid determination of the relative strength or weakness –

or neither – of an assessment target, there must be at minimum 15 unique students assessed per target,

3 unique items per target, and 25 responses per target.

If any one of these requirements is not met, then an asterisk is displayed.

The number of students assessed is displayed for the report.

Next, the Claim is displayed, followed by a list of the Assessment Targets within each claim.

The Assessment Targets are mapped to the Claims and Michigan's Academic Standards in the Crosswalk documents that are available

on the M-STEP webpage at www.michigan.gov/mstep.

You can view these documents to see how the claims, assessment targets, and content standards are grouped.

The right column displays the symbol representing the relative strength and weakness indicators for each assessment

target. The Target Analysis Report can be used to determine relative areas of strengths and weaknesses

for the represented aggregate group.

The Expectation Analysis Report provides the percentages of points earned by grade and content area expectations in each discipline.

This report presents social studies data only for grades 5, 8, and 11.

The report provides an overview of performance by content expectation,

however users should keep in mind that the number of items assessed on each expectation may be small.

The table identifies the associated expectation assessed. Next, the Number of Students assessed in each expectation,

the average percentage of points earned, and the number of students scoring in one of four percentage groupings:

0-25%, 26-50%, 51-75%, and 76-100% are displayed.

The Science field test District Summary Report will be available after the initial release of reports.

The report will contain frequency distribution graphs that display aggregated raw score information about

student performance for the district, and state.

The x-axis of the graph will display mean points earned percent ranges,

and the y-axis will display the percentage of districts scoring in each points earned range.

The report will be a series of graphs – one for the overall content area and one for each domain – Physical Science,

Life Science, and Earth Science.

Watch the Spotlight for more information about when this report will be available.

As a reminder, this report is based on data from field test items.

The field test data will be used to determine how well the field test items measure the intended standards.

This data is not intended to provide proficiency information in relation to the Michigan K-12 Science Standards or domains.

Decisions about school improvement goals, curriculum, or other instructional decisions should be based on locally developed science

assessments that measure student achievement based on the Michigan K-12 Science Standards.

In this section we will identify the information provided in the Student-Level reports: the Individual Student Report,

Parent Report, Student Roster, and Student Overview report.

Student level reports contain federally protected student information, therefore the information in student level reports must

be used in accordance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act – or FERPA.

All of the images used in this presentation have been de-identified and use mocked up data so that no actual student performance information

is shared.

This is the Individual Student Report with identifying information removed for privacy purposes.

There are three main sections in the ISR, and they are marked with 1, 2, and 3.

First is the entity information and the student demographic information.

This section details the school, district, and ISD where the student took the test.

Next is identifying information about the student – you will see the student's name, grade, gender, date of birth, ethnicity,

whether the student has a disability, is an English learner or former English learner,

and whether the student received any designated supports or accommodations when taking the M-STEP.

In the second area – marked by the 2 on this report - you will see the overall content performance.

This example is mathematics report.

The student's scale score is listed, 1512, and the student's Performance is indicated –

in this case, Proficient.

You can also see the margin of error for the student's score displayed in gray.

Along the bottom of the Performance scale, you can see the scale score ranges for each Performance level.

1409-1477 for Not Proficient, 1478-1499 for Partially Proficient, and so on.

Next you see in table form the Subject, Scale Score, Margin of Error, Performance Level, and Student Growth Percentile.

Student Growth Percentiles will be available after the initial release of reports.

The third section has detailed information on claim performance.

You will recall from a the previous slide that the claim performance indicators are indicators of performance within each claim.

The Claim performance indicator bar shows how the student performed on the claim relative to the range of possible performance

on that claim. In this example, you can see that this student has earned attention for the

Concepts and Procedures claim, and for the two claims that are combined for reporting:

Problem Solving and Modeling and Data Analysis, and the student has earned adequate progress in the Communicating Reasoning

claim.

Again, the Claim Performance Indicators are used only for English language arts and mathematics –

because these are computer adaptive tests; raw score data – that is, points earned out of points possible –

is not a valid representation of student achievement on a computer adaptive test.

This Individual Student Report is a Social Studies report. What is different for Social Studies from the ELA (and Mathematics)

reports is the Disciplines reported.

You can see that instead of Claim Performance Indicators, there are raw scores reported –

points earned and points possible, sorted by discipline -

in Social Studies the disciplines are History, Geography, Civics and Government, Economics, and Public Discourse.

Raw scores are not comparable across different forms of the test –

for example, 4 points out of 7 possible points for student A is not the same as 4 points out of 7 possible points for student B, because raw

scores are not equated across test forms.

Also, when reviewing raw score data with relatively small numbers of items, be sure to use caution when making large-scale

decisions.

Remember that science is not reported for individual students because the 2018 M-STEP Science test was a field test.

On this page, you can see the raw scores for each Grade Level Content Expectation reported.

The Discipline level is also reported – as it was on page one – showing which assessment expectations belong with which discipline.

In this example, the expectations highlighted are in the History Discipline.

As you go down the column of raw scores for each assessment expectation,

you can see which assessment expectations were answered correctly, and which were missed by this student.

Please remember that this report provides detailed student achievement

information about what a student knows and is able to do at one point in time.

It is important to use formative assessment, classroom observation, and other local data when

making instructional decisions for individual students.

Summative, standardized state-wide assessments are intended to provide information about school and district

information about student achievement for use in program evaluation and to inform school improvement initiatives or curricular decisions.

Parent reports are printed and sent to schools to be distributed to parents.

The Parent Report begins with the Superintendent letter.

This letter describes the information that can be found in the Parent report, and

provides resources that are available to parents on the MDE's M-STEP webpage.

As a reminder: science field test data is not included on any student level report.

The Superintendent letter contains an explanation for parents regarding the science field test.

On page 1 of the parent report is the Overall Performance information for English language arts

including the scale score and the associated Margin of Error.

Next is claim performance information.

Below the claim information on page 1 are definitions for common assessment-specific terms found on the Parent report.

This includes a definition for Claims, Disciplines, Claim Performance Indicator, and Margin of Error.

Page 2 of the Parent report includes the overall scale scores for the remaining content areas tested.

This example is a 5th grade report, so ELA was reported on page 1, Mathematics on page 2 and Social Studies is also on page 2.

At the bottom of page 2 are the definitions for the Performance levels – Advanced, Proficient, Partially

Proficient, and Not Proficient.

Please go to www.Michigan.gov/mstep for a Parent Report video that reviews the Parent Reports in further detail.

Next, we have the Student Roster report. New in 2018 is the Overall Proficiency Summary section of the report.

The Student Roster report the number and percentage of valid tests scoring in each performance level for the state, district, school,

and the roster of students based on

the user's selections.

It also includes individual student data for the selected group of students.

There are extensive filter options on the Student Roster Report.

Users can build a roster report by filtering on grade, content area, reporting code, performance level,

demographic groups – including gender, ethnicity, economically disadvantaged, English learner or former English learner,

homeless students, migrant students, students with disabilities, and by student name.

Once the report has been built, the first row is the Student Name column.

After the student names is a small i – this is a hover-over feature.

Users can hover over this "i" and view the student's UIC and date of birth.

This is helpful when there are two students on a roster report with the same or similar name.

Next is the Scale Score, Student Growth Percentile – or SGP - Margin of Error, and then Performance level.

The Overall Scale Score is also displayed in graph form in the fifth column.

The last columns contain claim performance indicators for English language arts and mathematics,

while for science and social studies it displays raw score data for each discipline – this will be shown on the next slide.

This view shows a Student Roster report with the Points Earned over Points Possible as is displayed on the social studies reports.

This view shows a Student Roster report that has been sorted by Scale Score by the user.

There are multiple sort options on the Student Roster report. The student list defaults to alphabetical order.

By selecting the word "Students", the list of students sorts to reverse alphabetical order.

Selecting a second time sorts the reports back to alphabetical order.

Users can also sort by Scale Score – shown here. Selecting the words "Scale Score" will sort the reports from the highest to lowest scale

score.

Selecting a second time sorts the reports from lowest to highest.

The final sort is the Claim-level sort. You can see on the right that the words "Reading", "Writing", "Listening", and "Research" are all

blue – indicating they are links. The user can select a claim and sort by performance level indicator within that claim.

Users can also select a student name to drill-down into the Individual Student Report for the selected student.

This is the Student Overview Report. It provides summary student level data for each content area in which the student tested on a

single page. This 5th grade sample has English Language Arts, Mathematics, and Social Studies data.

There are three primary data points shown in the Student Overview Report.

First – highlighted by the number one on this image, is the Scale Score.

Like the other reports, the scale score is reported, along with the scale score ranges shown below the graph.

Second – highlighted by the number 2 on this image, is the margin of error.

Again, as in other reports, the margin of error is represented graphically by the gray area as well as in the table beneath.

Third is the Performance level.

Again, this is shown graphically as well as in the table as shown here.

Claim performance indicators are reported for English language arts and mathematics,

and raw score data is reported by discipline for social studies.

First, find the weapon you want to refurbish. Have this weapon at 100% condition.

Check it's description to see what parts you will need to repair/refurbish it.

To refurbish your weapon, you need functioning parts that are not worn or rusty. You get these parts from dismantling other similar guns.

You can also repair parts using a file (or ramrod for barrels) and some other usables, such as gun cleaner, and cloth.

To repair a part, right click the part you want to fix and click "restore part" opening the repair screen.

From here, you pick whatever reasources you have available.

The higher the percentage, the more likely the part will be restored.

When the part at the bottom has the small green light, you can click on the part to attempt to fix it.

Sometimes you may fail to repair the part. It's good to have spares if need be

Sucess!

You can refurbish rusty or worn parts. Worn parts have a much higher rate of repair than rusty, but it is possible to repair them.

Once you have all your functioning parts, you need a Weapon Modification Kit (preferably two of them), and a barrel replacement kit (just one. Make sure you buy the correct size).

Now to find a vice to work on!

You can rent a vice from mechanics for roughly five minutes, by paying 1k. Earlier versions of Anomaly you had to pay in Putinka vodka.

Make sure to equip the gun you want to work on, and unload it, and remove it's attachments.

This is the vice repair screen. From here, you must click on each option in the menu to replace, piece by piece, the parts of the gun.

As you can see, once all of the parts are replaced, the gun went from (worn) to just regular.

Australian Beauty Guru's Guide to Surf Beauty - Beach Waves and Glowing Skin Included! - Duration: 3:04.

G'day mates!

It's Stef you're favorite Australian travel blogger

Vogue Magazine actually reached out to me

Super famous American magazine

Such a ripper I'm a huge fan

But they asked me to make a bit of a beauty

video for you guys,

showing you my life typical beauty routine

I think it's gonna be heaps of fun!

So today is a bit of a typical day for me

I'm going on a quick surf later in the arvo

Obviously I go everyday

uh it's sorta my whole entire life.

Um but I'm already in my bathers

I pretty much sleep in them.

First things first when you're an Aussie

you really wanna have good Aussie hair

that means texturized beach waves right?

I like to grab my dream waves beach spray

I just go out into the ocean I put the old

ocean water in it and it works like a charm.

And I just sorta spray that all over my hair

and don't be afraid to just put heaps of it in

because it really does good stuff

That was a bit aggro but no dramas

And then what I like to do to top it off

is I use my Aussie hair spray

made right here in Perth

and I just sorta put

a bit of a massive amount right kind of everywhere

Smells just like home

Um and that's sort of

how you get that perfect texturized Australian hair.

Next they don't call this the gold coast for nothing

The sun here in Australia is bloody strong

I like to take my favorite sunscreen it's

moisturizing sun lotion SPF thirty

And I sorta just lather it all over my problem areas

You can use this when you're going out for a surf,

when you're going to your friends barbie,

when you're going in the outback.

So I like to put it really all over any area

that I'm concerned might burn.

Oy! Don't let me forget

You gotta put on your favorite pair of sunnies

to protect your eyes

These are mine

Ace!

Ok so this look is obviously coming together really great

I'm really happy with it.

But there is one last step

and this is a bit of a personal preference.

Obviously you guys are familiar with vegemite

it's like the best thing ever

it's like staple 'strayan food.

I put it on everything like

I put it on pizza,

I put it on ice cream,

my bikkies,

I even grease my surfboard with it.

What a lot of people don't know is it's also

a great exfoliator for your skin.

So you sort of put it on like a face mask

and it just gives you that aussie glow

that we all love.

The smell is so good.

Mmm

Sorry my eyes are literally tearing up.

I put it right on my fingers

and I sorta just

like put it on my face

almost like it's Australian war paint

too easy

Honestly I should just probably eat some cuz

It's so soft

Mmm

So yeah that's pretty much it.

I'm Australian so I'm sort of like naturally beautiful

so I don't like put on any other like makeup

or anything like that like mascara.

Especially if it's not waterproof

Cuz I'm spending like

ninety percent of my time in the water.

You have to when you live in Perth.

Uh I'm gonna go meet up with my friend Shaza,

we're gonna head to the servo,

get some coldies,

eat some brekkie,

and get in the water.

Laters!

Mmm.

Sometimes I use it as mouthwash honestly

BMI Audio Guide: Banana Boat - Duration: 2:52.

Baltimore in the 20th century was one of Baltimore's main ports of entry

for fruit shipments.

As you gaze out of the museum's window wall,

imagine a harbor filled with cargo ships and fruit warehouses.

Many of these vessels and warehouses contained bananas-

a crop that once defined Baltimore, as explained by Sandler.

This Baltimore story aired on WYPR on September 7th, 2005.

It may come as a surprise that the steamed crab, a symbol of Baltimore, almost wasn't.

That familiar picture of Baltimore's famous crustation came very close to being, of all things,

a banana.

A good place to begin this improbable story is 5 o'clock on the afternoon of March 17th, 1947 at Pier 1 Pratt Street,

where The Constellation is tied up today.

A crowd of officials was gathered at the water's edge to welcome the sleek, all-white freighter- the SS- Yacht,

flagship of the United Fruit Company's famous Great White Fleet.

The occasion was a post-war startup with a banana carrying fleet's visit to Baltimore.

The arrival of the majestic ship was built as a restoration of Baltimore's rightful position

as the leading banana-eating city in the country- and as such, the banana capital of America.

A billing design to put the almighty steam crab in second place in the symbol race.

The director of the Baltimore Chamber of Commerce, G.H. Puder had data.

He said,

"Baltimore eats more bananas than New York, Philadelphia, or New Orleans"

which ranked second, third and forth behind Baltimore's consumption of bananas.

But back to 1947, Pier 1 Pratt Street-

the visit of the SS-Yacht was followed by frequent visits to the Great White Fleet's banana boats.

But in 1957, history took a strange turn.

Exit the banana, enter the steamed crab.

A scarcity of bananas had hit Baltimore.

One wholesaler explained,

"It's costing too much to unload those bananas. Those stevedores are asking $2.50 an hour."

Whatever, banana eating in Baltimore plunged.

The city's reputation as banana capital, along with it.

In 1958, United Fruit cancelled its visit to Baltimore.

Looking back, Baltimore (instead of becoming crab town) was almost what- Bananaville?

Saved,

because a gang of stevedores wanted $2.50 an hour to unload bananas on Pratt Street.
