Hi guys!

So I've been at this weird crossroads in my life

and it's good and it's scary..

but it's got me thinking and I don't know if you guys resonate with

any of these emotions at all, but if you do

crossroads and uncertainty

can SUCK!

Like, uncertainty is probably one of my least favorite emotions to feel because

you know who hangs out with uncertainty?

Fear...

failure...

loss...risk...

and I don't know about you

but I don't particularly prefer those guys!

So some things that

have been told to me this week that have kind of been guiding my heart through this process

is that what God does WITHIN you during your "wait" is

probably just as important as what you think you're waiting for.

So what I'm thinking about is who are you, who AM I becoming while we wait?

Am I becoming bitter, impatient, entitled?

Or am I making myself better? Am I seeking more,

loving more, BECOMING more?

And you want to know my favorite analogy for this?

It's that the SAME boiling water can soften a carrot

can harden an egg,

or produce the

rich, beautiful, succulent coffee that only boiling water can turn it into!

Being put into the boiling water reveals the coffee's purpose.

So the same trial, the same hardship

can either weaken us and soften us like a carrot

or harden us, and close us off like an egg,

or it can produce the rich beautiful coffee that

we were intended for in the first place

But the waiting is important!

Right? Like if I wasn't

if I wasn't going through this in my life right now

if I didn't feel these feelings and feel at this crossroads

I probably wouldn't

have felt the need to make this video

But MAYBE it encourages one of you guys.

Maybe one of you needs to quit being an egg!

I don't know...

All that to say I guess,

My mentors taught me since I was a kid that attitude is a choice

and that determines my mindset every single day

and it also determines my work ethic so

I'm gonna sign off here now and get back to work!

But I love you guys.

GO BE GREAT.

Only Yesterday

After long enough of being alone

Everyone must face their share of loneliness

In my own time nobody knew

The pain I was goin' through

And waitin' was all my heart could do

Hope was all I had until you came

Maybe you can't see how much you mean to me

You were the dawn breaking the night

The promise of morning light

Filling the world surrounding me

When I hold you

Baby, baby, feels like maybe, things will be all right

Baby, baby, your love's made me

Free as a song, singin' forever

Only yesterday when I was sad and I was lonely

You showed me the way to leave the past and all its tears behind me

Tomorrow maybe even brighter than today

Since I threw my sadness away

Only yesterday

After long enough of being alone

Everyone must face their share of loneliness

Herbal Coffee - Duration: 2:51.

Hey it's Logan Christopher from Lost Empire Herbs and in this video I want to show

you the drink I put together every morning with my coffee and different

herbs that I use. So, I typically just do a single cup French press coffee like so.

Now I don't have everything here I I'm a fan of the bulletproof styled coffee,

so using butter and coconut oil or MCT oils, but then I'd like to add even more

impact by using different herbal products, so three of my favorites and of

course there are many others you can use but three my favorites are He Shoe Wu

chaga mushroom and maca as well. So you take the coffee like so,

add a little little bit of chaga and this is a potent chaga extract that

we have available, you can use all kinds of different Chagas but this stuff is

quite strong so you don't need a lot of that one. The He Shou Wu you will about a

teaspoon or so of that and then the maca, maca is something you can really do

larger amounts with so I just generally using the same spoon do a heaping

teaspoon like that, try a little over a tablespoon right there and mix it up and

what's great about these herbs is they're all brown, you notice if you

look at the powders so they these flavors really go well with the coffee

flavor, you have that bitterness chaga's gonna have some of that but

chaga also has like a slight it has vanillic acid so it has a little bit of a

vanilla like taste to it, but not very strong.

The He Shou Wu really doesn't have a whole lot of flavor, a little bit malty

goes well you kind of won't even notice it with the coffee so much and the maca

you definitely well especially with that larger amount of it, but maca tastes

really good so I enjoy that flavor along with the coffee so have that every

single morning. What's great about this as most people have coffee right, so by

adding some herbs into your coffee whether you have one cup

or multiple in a day it's a really great way to get those herbs in there because

you don't get benefits from the herbs if you don't take them, so we really like to

build this into the lifestyle of what you're already doing make it easy to

take these things like said with these herbs going along with coffee it tastes

great. For a lot more information about these herbs and all everything else we

have you can check out LostEmpireHerbs.com, a lot of information that we have

on the website we really want people to explore the herbs, experiment find what

works for them build it into your lifestyle and get great results doing so,

so check it out at LostEmpireHerbs.com

Coffee & Chat: My Ideal Type, Next Trip, & More! - Duration: 6:31.

[music]

Good morning everyone! It's been a while since I've done one of those time lapses and popped in.

I made coffee this morning and I wanted to film that for you guys.

It was kind of inspired by a YouTuber named Claire Marshall.

I love her vlogs and she's been doing Vlogtember, and it's been a lot of fun to watch.

Anyways, I'm on my way over to brunch at this place called "Plow" or "Plow"? (she pronounced the words differently)

I heard it's really popular so let's go on and have brunch.

[music]

Alright. Fast forward three hours later, I'm back at Joanne's apartment,

and I was editing this vlog right here.

And the beginning coffee scene, even though it was much shorter,

it was like, I don't know, twenty to thirty seconds long,

I had like ten minutes of footage for that, so I hope you guys enjoyed that scene.

Some of you guys might have thought it was pointless, but I really wanted to film that,

because I really enjoy having coffee in the morning.

I'm also realizing that my trip to America is almost over.

So, I'm just enjoying my rest of the time here.

And I can't wait to get back to business in Korea.

I've been responding to so many emails.

I made my skincare appointment because I've been breaking out in my chin area because...

hORMONES 🙄

And... yeah! Um...

I just thought I would update you guys.

Since I do have some time, I think I'm going to answer some questions that I couldn't answer from my last Twitter Q&A.

So let's get that up!

Jana asked, "Are you planning on doing more cooking videos? Because I loved em💓"

So I did cook Kimchi Jjigae with Joanne in this vlog right here, and we wanted to make Doenjang Jjigae as well,

but we'll see.

However, when I go back to Korea, my mom usually spoils me with her cooking,

so maybe I'll film her cooking something yummy or I'll try my best to film more cooking videos for you guys. :)

And I do want to film a "What I Ate In A Week" because that's another highly requested video from you guys

So, stay tuned~!

yasminism asked, "Do you prefer travelling alone or with your friends?"

I love travelling with my friends and family :)

reveluv asked, "What is your ideal type of guy?"

And the answer to that is funny and smart!

"What's your favourite flower?"

Peonies and Hydrangeas because those are two flowers that I am least allergic to.

I don't know if that makes sense but there are some flowers that I just have... like...

I'm like REALLY allergic to, so Peonies and Hydrangeas, they're pretty and I'm not....

Like, I'm never, have like allergic reactions to them.

So those two flowers!

The final question is, "WHEN ARE YOU COMING TO SINGAPORE?" (t/n: omg same gurl)

And the answer to that is hopefully by the end of this year (t/n: YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAS)

It could be in November or December but I'll make sure to update you guys on that.

If you haven't watched already, I have also filmed a "50 Facts About Me" video on my main channel,

so I'll link it up there, if you haven't watched.

Um... And I think Joanne is almost on her way, she just texted me sooooo~

Let's head on over to dinner!

I'm here with Joanne! It's a thirty minute wait :<

Glenn: mE!

*Joan and Joanne laughs* G: Glenn :D

G: Haha if I have to redo that take... Joan: This is Glenn, from college.

He's been in my vlog before.

*Joanne laughs in the background*

G: Where's all my fans, Joan~?

Joan: So awkward!!

Joan: Gapjagi waegeurae? (Why so sudden?/갑자기 왜그래?)

He was just like being so mean earlier, and then the moment this camera turns on he's like,

"oH...."

Joanne: Fake news. Fake news :3

G: Oh you're looking pretty today, Joan. :D

G: Uuhhhhhhh... Joanne: Look at his nervous hands.

Joan: Why are you camera shy all of a sudden?

G: I don't know~

[music]

Alright! We're back home! Dinner was amazing!

And I think I'm gonna end the vlog here.

Joanne and I are just going to relax, we're gonna watch some "Rick and Morty.

And I'm gonna edit some videos. I hope you guys enjoyed watching today's episode.

Here's the Shoutout of the Day, for those of you guys who translated and transcribed this vlog right here.

And I will see you all in tomorrow's.

Joeun Day Doeseyo! Annyeong! / 좋은 데이 되세요! 안녕! / Have a good day! Goodbye!

Kettlebells & Coffee | Session 27 - Duration: 3:41.

So a little fast forward here is that by the time you see this video, I'm going to either

be in Las Vegas or back from Las Vegas.

Why would I go to Las Vegas?

I'm going to go because of DVRT the family that gave us the Ultimate Sandbags.

We have Master Trainers all around the world and we're all meeting this weekend for The

Master Trainer Summit.

What does it mean to be a DVRT Master Trainer?

Well, it might be something like this, .

[Emmett] I am a Master Builder!

or possibly like this ...

[Matrix music]

Either way what I'm going to tell you right now is that the DVRT (Dynamic Variable Resistance

Training) this system has revolutionized the way I personally see fitness.

I still remember when I was first introduced to the Ultimate Sandbag and Dynamic Variable

Resistance Training it actually happened in Chicago and that's where I met a good friend

of mine, and now business partner, Anthony Dix.

We met at this workshop, right, and I still remember the first time I was doing a front

loaded good morning.

I have had a prior history of low back pain.

I place the Ultimate Sandbag up on my chest, holding it with my arms and I go into the

hinge position.

As soon as I enter into the hinge position I feel my back go [snap] and I'm like, 'another

gimmick, another something that's not going to work for me.'

But then I was instructed to really grind your feet into the ground, create that tension.

I did that and it's like my back pain, I don't want to say it just disappeared, but I felt

relief and I all of a sudden felt this tension that I never felt before.

I felt more strong!

I was really determined at that point to really go more into the Ultimate Sandbags.

I put in a request for the Ultimate Sandbags, I might have sent the wrong video, because

my boss came back to me and said, 'you're going to break someone's back, this is just

way too much.

Too heavy.

Too bizarre of movements.

Nope.'

But I just knew there was something else going on so I followed them on YouTube, followed

them on Facebook, I was just enthralled this was almost 5-years, maybe even 6-years ago.

Well, I own my own gym, guess what the first thing I'm going to do is?

Get some Ultimate Sandbags.

We're able to use these concepts and principles that the DVRT system gives us that

loading people isn't necessarily about putting on more weight.

That's old school fitness, 'hey, if you want to go a little more harder put on some more

weight, do more repetitions.'

A lot of people don't want to lift heavier weight, they just want to be more efficient

and that, that right there is the bread and butter of what DVRT does for us at Fitness

Lying Down.

It gives us that ability to make people's movements more efficient and they can become

more strong in their daily life.

Whether it's grocery bags from the floor to the countertop, whether it's picking a child

up out of the crib, whether it's playing basketball, making a juke move on somebody in football.

So what am I expecting when I go to Vegas?

I really don't know.

I don't know if I'm going to be introduced to some secret handshake,

or anything like that.

But I will tell you that I am very excited.

I'm excited to meet a whole lot more people that are on the same page, that we're just

taking the fitness industry and almost turning it upside down!

We're giving back to the people what they need, not just more equipment.

Not just more exercises, but solutions!

We're giving them the solutions to what they need.

Whether they have a low back problem, shoulder problem, knee problem, hip problem, or if

they have a clean bill of health and they just need to move better.

That's what we give them.

Anybody looking to up their fitness levels, check into this.

Any trainers that really want to change the way they make their clients move and set themselves

apart in the market, check this out!

Until next time, viva Las Vegas ...

National Coffee Day 2017: Starbucks Is Doing Something Different!!! - Duration: 2:45.

Starbucks Is Doing Something Different for National Coffee Day.

Whether getting one to go or lingering over a second cup,

on September 29 be sure to observe National Coffee Day!

Ah, the perfect cup of java.

According to an expert cupper, a professional coffee tasterect

there are four components of a perfect cup, aroma, body, acidity, and flavor.

From the moment the average coffee lover opens a fresh bag of coffee beans, the aroma beckons, percolating the senses.

Even those who don't drink coffee tend to enjoy the fragrance a roasted bean casts.

National Coffee Day is upon us.

And while all the major chains seem to be getting in on the action,

including Krispy Kreme, Dunkin' Donuts, Cinnabon, Peet's,

and Canadian favorite Tim Horton's.

there is one heavy hitter that won't appear on those, "where to get free coffee" lists.

Rather than give out free coffees or offer BOGO, "Buy One, Get One Free") deals,

Starbucks is taking a different approach to National Coffee Day.

The mega-chain will be doing a massive makeover of its stores across the nation this weekend,

replacing menu boards with information about the farmers the company sources its coffee from.

The aim is to inform customers about the challenges these farmers face,

including coffee leaf rust and climate change,

and the company's commitment to ethical, and sustainably sourced coffee.

Starbucks director of ethical sourcing Kelly Goodejohn said,

"We want our customers to know that they can feel good about their Starbucks purchase,

which is positively impacting coffee growing communities around the world.

Ninety-nine percent of Starbucks coffee is ethically sourced, the company says,

and Starbucks has committed to planting 100 million trees by 2025.

The company is also a founding member of the Sustainable Coffee Challenge,

which is a coalition of industry, and conservation leaders,

who are working to make coffee a sustainable agricultural product.

But Starbucks hasn't entirely eschewed the festive spirit.

The company is launching a special roast in tandem with National Coffee Day,

Single Origin Guatemala Huehuetenango.

The coffee is grown in a mountainous region, that had been impacted by coffee leaf rust,

but since 2015, Starbucks has been planting one tree for every bag of coffee sold,

and this new roast is made from those replenished crops.
