When it comes to love, it's easy for your heart to grant your head an indefinite leave

of absence while you blissfully skip the to altar with love hearts dancing in your eyes,

but sadly these blissful feelings aren't always long-term.

All of the couples below have been through the heartbreak of divorce in 2017 after marrying

someone who turned out to be less than their perfect mate, but some have done it more harmoniously

than others.

The pair have been married for eight years and they share a son named Axl, four, together.

They met all the way back in 2004 so have been together for 13 years.

divorce from her husband Romain Dauriac at a New York City court.

Cuba Gooding Jr. and his wife actually announced their breakup back in 2014, but Gooding Jr.

only filed for divorce on January 19 2017.

2017 might have only just began leaving a trail of broken hearts in its wake.

Sia married documentary filmmaker Erik Anders Lang in August 2014 after a two month engagement.

They were married for 2.5 years before they split.

Sia filed for divorce on December 20 2016.

After announcing their intention to go their separate ways, Sia and Erik released a statement

which read: "After much soul searching and consideration

we have made the decision to separate as a couple.

We are, however, dedicated to remaining friends.

There will be no further comment."

Brangelina (RIP) were together for over a decade after infamously getting together after

working on Mr. & Mrs. Smith back in 2004.

They married in 2014, partly for the sake of their six children, but the wedded bliss
