Auto news on Youtube Oct 2 2017

Hey everybody, I'm Gardiner The Linux Gamer.

And welcome to Linux Literate: it's a new video series I want to try out.

I get asked all the time about Linux-specific issues.

New users who are familiar with the Windows way of fighting against your computer they

have a tons of questions: How to use the terminal, how to compile software, how to install proprietary

graphics drivers, and just where the hell does software get installed to?

I want to help people when they ask me how to do these things, so instead of responding

to a private message and only helping one person, I figure I can make a video about

it and help a bunch of people with the same issue.

Now, keep in mind two things: there's more than one way to do everything this series

is going to tackle and this will by no means be comprehensive (or even the easiest way

of doing whatever I'm talking about).

And second, I'm really not the best person to ask about advanced stuff.

With all that being said, let's talk about the Linux filesystem.

If you're coming from Windows (and many of you are), you might find the Linux filesystem…

foreign.

I can hear you asking "Where are all my games installed to??"

That's a great questions, and to answer that, I'll help you get familiar with your

home directory.

As a new Linux user, it's best practice to not write to or modify any system components.

Typically, your user account won't have permission to do such a thing anyway.

Thankfully, just about everything you need as a new user is available within your home

directory.

So open up your home directory and take a look at what's in there.

Everything so far should seem self explanatory.

But what happens when we show hidden files?

Ahh, here we go.

Now you might notice a bunch of files and directories with a period prefixing the name.

This naming convention hides things from normally being displayed in the terminal or within

your file manager.

So what are all these hidden files?

These are generally user-specific configuration files, and often there's also applications

installed here.

Depending on what you have installed on your computer, it might look quite a bit different

from mine.

Let's explore a few of these directories.

First we have .config which has, you guessed it, user-specific configuration files for

things like GNOME, Discord, Chrome, Kdenlive and more.

Next on the list we have .local.

Within this folder is another directory: share.

Any files you have written here will supersede files found at the system level.

You can also install user-specific fonts, icon packs, and more.

Now, you might be wondering "Where is C:\Program Files\"?

There's no one place that is analogous in the Linux world.

Most of the apps you install from the package manager are going to be ones that get stored

all over the filesystem.

However, there are a few exceptions.

Applications like Steam and most games downloaded from GOG will get installed to your Home Directory.

Steam can be generally found in ~/.steam and the games installed ~/.steam/steam/steamapps/common

Games from GOG get installed inside ~/GOG Games

Now I can hear you saying, "How do I install games to my secondary drive?"

Well, Linux doesn't have the concept of lettered drives.

So there really isn't a C:\

Drive or a D:\ on Linux.

Instead, Linux 'mounts' drives as part of a virtual filesystem.

I'll cover this topic in the next episode of Linux Literate.

But what do you think?

Do you have any questions about Linux you'd like to see answered?

Leave a comment and let me know or on twitter @TheLinux Gamer.

If you enjoyed this video or found it useful, make sure you share it with your friends,

How to get Twitch Drops in Warframe: Hands-Free PoE Loot Guide! - Duration: 2:39.

Ahoy thar, Legion!

With Plains of Eidolon quite close to release, I'd like to draw yer attention to the curious

Twitch Drops system being added with this update.

The mechanics of it are simple: watchin' someone playing Warframe?

You got a shot at free sigils, primes, and limited edition cosmetics.

Now hearin' that you might be in shock, but I assure you this is correct:

Very soon, we'll be able to grind items

merely watching *other people* grind items.

We're living in rather exciting times, Legion.

Heck, if 3D printing gets any cheaper we might not even need to login to equip the stuff

at the rate we're goin'!

I do have a guide in the works with all the nuts n bolts, but that'll need some hands-on

research to make sure my suspicions are correct,

and since there is going to be a very rare, time-limited edition sigil I don't want anyone

to miss out on,

for today we'll just make sure you can hop on and claim your spot early for all those

well-earned goodies in the near future.

More details on that sigil in a minute!

Right now head on down to warframe.com and login.

It's a biggol' button on the top of the screen, ya cannot miss it.

Even Corpus Crewmen couldn't miss this one.

Then just click on your account name or go to warframe.com/user and you'll see a prompt

to sync your account with your twitch account.

Just type it in there, sync it, and yer good to go!

Once Plains of Eidolon goes live it'll net ya a stylish Syandana, watching streamers collectively

for an hour grants ya a Liset decoration, you'll fairly randomly be given prime and cosmetic

items, but no shocker there -_^

But the rare Sigil's the tricky one.

For that you'll need to be logged into twitch and watching a streamer survive their first night.

Emphasis on FIRST night.

If you watch them after they get that achievement, you won't get it.

The Twitch Drop event lasts two weeks, but that sigil is gonna evaporate after a few

hours of the update goin' live

so I'll put a link in the description to a list of all the streamers hooked up that you

can get credit from.

At time of recording we don't know when Plains is gonna drop, but again I wanted to make

sure everyone had the most advanced knowledge of it so worst case scenario it drops when you are busy,

you can just cue up a stream or two and let it run while at work or school and still get credit.

Personally I don't think that sigil looks particularly good, but rarity does affect

fashionframe and these are gonna be pretty darn rare.

Though, it could very well make a decent Rift Sigil replacement for folks who missed out on that one already.

But what do YOU think about this new loot system, Legion?

Great addition for busy folks, or slippery slope where the sekzbots take over and waifus become real?

Wait no that... a lot of people would want that, actually--

Leave yer thoughts n' comments below Legion!

Thank-ya for watching, hope Plains drops soon, and I'll catch you next time.

Take care!

Bloat Pet Battle Guide and Family Fighter Strategies - Duration: 6:30.

Hi!

I'm Hazel, and this is your guide to the Bloat pet battle on Argus.

I'm going to start with a super quick strategy for World questing, then go through teams

for every single pet family for progress on the Family Fighter achievement.

Bloat lives here in the Antoran Wastes.

He appears to be just a little worm dude but apparently stepping on him doesn't get you

the achievement.

First up, the fastest strategy for when you just wanna get your World Quest done and go.

This also doubles as the Beast strat.

In slot 1, any raptor with over 291 speed set up with Exposed Wounds.

Today, I've got my Ravasaur Hatchling.

Slot 2 is a Zandalari anklerender or kneebiter with black claw and hunting party and third

can be any beast pet.

Starting with the Exposed Wounds raptor, use exposed wounds.

He smacks you down with the Antaen Cannon, and you bring out your Zandalari raptor.

Use Black Claw, then Hunting Party.

This whole thing is over with very quickly.

Next, Aquatic.

You want at least two Mongooses, Civets, or Otters of any description as long as they

have over 291 speed, and they're set up with Gnaw and Dive.

The third slot can be whatever.

This one is very straightforward.

Start with Dive to avoid the cannon, then mash Gnaw.

Keep Gnawing until the cannon comes back up, avoid it with Dive, and you get the idea.

If your mongeese aren't very fast, you can actually get away with slower two in the second

slots as long as your first one is faster than Bloat.

Just remember that if you're slower, you need to Dive one round before the cannon comes

up.

A Cooldown counter like this PetTracker one is extremely handy for that.

Next is Critters.

There's lots of options for this- I'm using a pair of Marsuuls both over 291 speed with

Bite, Burrow and Feign Death and then my Mulgore Hatchling with Trample.

If you're short on those mix in rabbits with flurry, dodge and burrow, or a Darkmoon Rabbit

with Huge Sharp Teeth would be good.

Avoidance and Beast damage is the key here.

Starting with a Marsuul I'll use Burrow to avoid the cannon, Bite Once then Feign Death

to avoid the Plagued Blood.

That will bring out your highest health pet but since mine are equal it's random.

I get my Mulgore Hatchling, so I'll spam Trample.

If I had gotten the Marsuul, I would have used Bite, Feign Death to avoid the cannon

and Burrow to avoid Plagued Blood.

When the Hatchling dies, I'll bring back my first Marsuul.

Cannon is in one round so I'll use Bite, then Burrow to escape underground.

It's super effective.

Next we'll do Elemental.

I'm using my Bound Stream with Water Jet and Dive, a Core Hound Pup with Thrash, Howl and

Burrow and third is an Electrified Razortooth with Rip and Blood in the Water that you may

not need.

Starting with the Bound Stream, use Dive, then spam Water Jet until you die.

Bring in your trusty Core Hound Pup and use Howl, then Burrow.

If you die before Burrow, just restart the fight but your odds are good.

Burrow will scoot us away from the cannon and does some magnificent damage.

Use Thrash until your Core Hound Dies, or in this case until you win.

If the Hound doesn't finish things a Rip-Blood in the Water ought to do it.

Next up is Humanoid.

I've got my Flayer Youngling with Deflection and Rampage, a Dandelion Frolicker with Bite

and Dazzling Dance and a Lil Bad Wolf with Claw, Dodge and Howl.

Starting with the Flayer use Deflection, then Rampage.

Once he dies bring in the Frolicker, or a Thistleleaf Adventurer if you're really fancy.

Use Bite, then Dazzling Dance.

It feels like we're just getting obliterated but I promise we're still on track.

Bad Wolf comes out and we're going to use Dodge, then Howl, then spam Claw.

Easy peasy.

Next we've got Mechanical.

In my top slot is my Lifelike Mechanical Frostboar with Missile, Pig Out and Decoy, and second

we'll use a Mechanical Scorpid with Barbed Stinger and Blinding Poison.

The third pet is a De-Weaponized Mechanical Companion with Thrash but it does not see

battle.

We'll start with the Frostboar and use Decoy.

Missile four times, Pig-Out and back to Missiles.

I'm not convinced that Pig-out is worth it, you might be better just Missiling forever-

either way is fine.

After the Frostboar dies for good bring in the Scorpid and check the Antaen Cannon cooldown.

When it's up, use Blinding Poison.

Outside of that, just spam Barbed Stinger.

The DoT damage sucks but the initial damage is good and it gets the job done.

Next we'll do Dragonkin.

I'm using a Sprite Darter Hatchling or Nether Faerie Dragon with over 291 speed with Arcane

Blast, Evanescence, and Moonfire.

Second is Chrominius with Bite, Howl, and Surge of Power while third I have my Proto

Drake whelp with Bite and Proto-Strike.

Starting with my Sprite Darter, I'll use Evanescence then swap to Chrominius.

On Chrominius we'll use Howl, then Bite, then Surge of Power.

After his demise bring in the Proto Drake Whelp.

We'll use Bite once, then Proto-Strike.

We're slower than him, so we're using the Proto Strike one round before his cannon comes

up to make sure that we're clear of it.

Then, a few good Bites finishes the job.

Next up is Flying.

This strategy is identical to what I've used for several of the Antorus bosses and that

is because it works.

In the first slot is any Skyfin pet set up with Wild Magic.

Second is Ikky with Black Claw and Flock, and third can be any bird that you think deserves

to feel special.

Start with the Skyfin, use Wild Magic, and then Die.

Ikky comes in and busts out Black Claw, followed by Flock.

It's too good.

Next we'll do Magic.

I've got my Chaos Pup with Enrage and Bite, and second is a Sapphire Cub with Pounce.

Third is Trunks with Smash, Ethereal and Headbutt but if you don't have him any Surge of Power

magic pet or a Mana Wyrm with Deflection will do you just fine.

Trunks is very good here though, and if you have him you can put him at the front and

nearly solo the whole fight.

Starting with that Chaos Pup I'm going to use Enrage, then spam Bite.

You should make it about halfway.

Bring in the Sapphire Cub and attach your finger firmly to your Pounce button.

That takes us most of the way there, but he does have Cannon back up.

I'll use Ethereal, then Headbutt, then Smash.

That Awfully Big Adventure finally pays off!

Last is Undead, and this one is nice and easy.

Top slot is the Unborn Val'kyr with Curse of Doom and Unholy Ascenscion, then after

that you want a Saber Kitten or Bigglesworth or Widget the Departed or two of the above

with Pounce.

Follow your heart.

Scraps with Claw isn't a bad choice either.

Start with the Val'kyr, use Curse of Doom, then Unholy Ascenscion.

This has the pleasant effect of eating the cannon while setting us up for some top notch

Pouncing.

Bring in a kitty and Pounce away.

I wonder if undead cats still like warm cuddle spots.

After all this fine work they certainly deserve one.

So, that's Family Fighter Bloat!

Thank you so much for watching.

Subscribe for the rest of the Family Fighter guides and other super cool WoW videos.

Let me know what you think, share your own strategies in the comments if you like and

have a wonderful, wonderful day.

Bye!

The Definitive Guide to GmodTech_Hotel - Duration: 19:58.

Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen. On October 2nd 2016, a year ago today,

we released the final version of 'GmodTech_Hotel'.

My name is Werewolf and I am the maps creator.

To celebrate a year since its release I'm going to show you all of

its Easter eggs and talk a little bit about them.

This is 'The Definitive Guide to Gmodech_Hotel'.

A quick note before we begin. Many objects in this

map make use of a '+Use' key to interact with them. As you cannot see when a

player is using a '+Use' key, this graphic will be displayed in the bottom right

hand corner of the screen anytime I am using it.

This will help you understand which map features are activated with a '+Use' key and how.

With that out of the way, let's begin.

The first thing players will see when joining the server is the spawn hub.

Hidden in the roof is the first of 20 ducks, this one being the 'default duck'.

The other 19 ducks are the 9 Red team ducks,

the 9 blue team ducks and the Saxton Hale duck. So here they all are.

The blue scout is up on the roof hiding on one of the air conditioning units.

The blue soldier is sat on the hood of one of the troop trucks in the car-park.

The blue pyro is in the furnace, baiting players into coming in.

That's literally why he's there, to bait people into coming into the furnace.

The blue demoman is the most hidden of all the ducks due to it being clipped into the brewing vat

and being quite high up makes him hard to see from below. But, there he is.

The blue heavy is stuck in the ice in the freezer but he's from Siberia so he's used to it.

The blue engineer is over-seeing the kart area

The blue medic is in the cinema sitting on top of one of the speakers

and presumably has gone deaf from it.

The blue sniper is above the maze. He was put there just because I wanted to spread the ducks out

and needed one of them in that part of the map.... so, yeah.

And the blue spy is chilling out beside the pool.

The red scout is on top of the sauna, perving on people in the hot tub.

The red soldier is manning the door to the bunker.

The red pyro is in one of the deep fat fryers in the kitchen.

The red demoman has drunk himself under the table outside.

The red heavy is in the library doing some light reading.

The red engineer is at his workbench down in the basement.

The red medic is in the Wendy house dispensing dehydrated water.

The red sniper oversees the gun range.

The red spy is waiting to drop down on people in the laundry room.

And finally, the Saxton Hale duck is guarding the supplies in the bunker.

And that's all 20 of them. People have asked me if the ducks do anything and I have to report, they don't.

They are static props added to give people a reason to explore the map by giving them something to find. That's all there is to it.

In the Spa is the pool which can be drained by going into the basement.

In the maintenance room is this console besides a window looking into the pool.

Pressing '+Use' on the left-hand side of the console will cause the pool to drain.

Besides the console is a septic tank which will fill up with all the crap from the pool.

I like to imagine that people are cleaning the pool when they do this and all that green toxic crap is

where people have been taking craps in the pool!

If the hot tub isn't hot enough for you, you can heat it up!

Pressing ('+Use') the dial on the scales beside the sauna will

drain the hot tub of water and replace it with lava!

Into the restaurant now and probably the worst joke on the map.

It's a fish cake...

In the fish tank....

Yeah, I thought it was funny. Moving on...

In to the kitchen now and we have a few more subtle jokes. One of the ovens has a minor fault,

If you press '+Use' on one of the dials of the left-hand oven, it seems to overcook a lot of food.

On the herbs and spices rack we have some ingredients that don't quite belong there.

Catnip isn't a spice but it's basically marijuana for cats.

Ketchup isn't a spice, in fact 9 out of 10 10 professional chefs agree,

that if you put ketchup on restaurant food, you deserve a special place in hell!

The 10th chef works here.

Mace is actually a spice but it's also one of the core ingredients of mace spray,

the stuff used by police and riot-control.

Tastes good on eggs though.

Moving into the store cupboard, we have a box of duck meat and a box of BONUS DUCKS in case Merasmus

decides to visit. And for any sniper guests we have "meatballs".

An easy to miss noise, but pressing '+Use' on the mouse hole plays the sound of a mouse squeaking

from 'Undertale'. Although I've not played undertale myself, this was added at a friends request.

*Mouse squeak sound effect*

*More mouse squeak sound effect*

The most literal Easter egg in the map is an actual Easter egg.

This was originally added way back in 'beta_02' for an Easter egg hunting contest where

players had to find a number of smaller eggs hidden around the map. This larger

egg was in spawn so that players knew what the smaller eggs looked like. It moved

around for a few versions before eventually ending up here in the freezer.

Way back when the map was first being planned out, one of the earliest ideas

Snaggle and I had was to recreate that scene from 'The Simpsons' where they're in

a cinema and the sound from the 'THX' intro is so loud people's heads explode.

This is why the speakers also explode and the window shatter. The effect was added

long before the maps no-kill zone was added and to remove the explosions would

lessen the joke so they were left in even though they don't hurt anybody anymore.

It's activated by using the '+Use' key on the projector and it has a cool-down of 30 minutes.

Archimedes is the medics pet dove although he appears

to have been spending more time with the Demoman recently.

Before the bunker and nuke were well known about, I wanted to give players some hint that something

bad might happen because why else would a hotel need warning signs about a

nuclear attack? Due to bad file compression and needing to shrink

designs down to a realistic size in game you can't actually read them anymore but

here you can see the original uncompressed image I used.

Both presidential suites have a small hidden safe. By using your '+Use+ key on the far

left pots on the shelves the panel slide up to show the safe underneath.

Going down into the basement via the staff room and opening the fridge we find many

normal things like sandwiches and beer and also a Spy's head. This of course is

a reference to Valve's 'Meet the Medic' video where we briefly see a Spy's head

in the fridge as the medic retrieves a spare heart.

Hidden underneath this poster of a stern looking Uncle Sam advising you to stay sober

is a brewery!

These props came from 'koth_moonshine_event', one of the maps released as part of the Halloween 2015

update and honestly when I first saw them in game

I just wanted to reuse them somehow I wanted to have them in the map. So I

created this hidden brewery where I like to imagine the staff are off making

their own knockoff moonshine

This I believe was someone's spray.

I don't recall what server I was on or where I first saw it but I liked it so I

decided to ride it somewhere. As the spa pool drains into the vat of toxic

looking waste I thought this would be a good place to put it. As you can't see it

very well in-game, here's the full-sized original image.

Tucked away in the corner of the laundry room

besides these boxes is this alien text.

Unlike other secrets in the map up until now I've actually denied knowing about it,

pretending it's somebody's spray in attempt to make it sound more mysterious

Well the mystery actually got solved back on the 8th of July 2017 by a player

called 'Weckstrom' (I hope I pronounced that correctly) who figured out the text is

actually written in 'Aurebesh'. For those of you who don't know, 'Aurebesh' is the

fictional language used in the 'Star Wars' universe.

Now I'm guessing you want to know what the message actually says, so I'll tell you now. It reads:

*Do I need to have subtitles for this bit?* *The text is already on screen!*

*Comment '#subtilesquad' in the comments* *if you are still reading this!*

I'd say it worked, considering it took nine months before anyone figured it out!

Another old Easter Egg here, in fact one of the first ever made for the map. Sneaking around

the basement is 'Solid Snake' from the 'Metal Gear' series. In this case,

'Metal Gear Solid 2' because one of the boxes used is the orange box. The orange box

was also the name of Valve's compilation of games that featured 'Half-Life 2'

'Portal' and Team Fortress 2', so naturally it fits here.

The joke for this is simple. The box moves around the room but only when there are no players

in the room to see it moving. As soon as the door to the laundry room is opened

the box will immediately stop moving. When the door closes again the box will

check if there are still players in the room. If there aren't, it will start moving again.

Welcome to the New World Order's headquarters or the Illuminati

whichever name you prefer. Added much after Solid Snake, access to the New

World Order room is actually controlled by Solid Snake. If he is too close to the

hidden door it will remain locked and advise the player

"It's locked! Someone must still be watching..." The only way to unlock the room is to leave the

laundry room completely for a while long enough for snake to be behind the

crates in the middle of the room at which point the door will unlock.

Ahhh, something else I have denied existing. This big black thing is the 'Monolith'

a mysterious object from the movie '2001: A Space Odyssey'.

To paraphrase from Wikipedia here:

End quote.

On the wall behind the Monolith is the 'Eye Sigil'. It's been found inside

various games and is thought to be part of some alternative reality game made by

the developers of those games except, none of those games were made by the

same developers or same publishers they have absolutely nothing in common. I have

included a link to the Reddit thread explaining all this in much more detail

in the description below. I'm not entirely sure how or where I heard about

this story but I found a picture and decided to include it in the map.

Behind the maze is this happy piece of graffiti. You might recognize it as the mural that

the blue pyro paints on the side of one of the cargo containers in the 'End of the Line' video.

Rather unusually this is actually a very thin prop, rather than a texture applied as an overlay or a decal.

Hidden underneath both lifts are a pair of 'Dick-Butts'.

The only way to see these is to enter into one of the lifts and to suicide so that your rag doll falls into

the bottom of the shaft.

And, they are not alone. There is a third 'Dick-Butt' hidden behind the bar in the cinema.

You don't need to kill yourself to see that one.

And now on to the random events. The map has a pool of nine possible random

events which it can pick from every 30 to 45 minutes. After being picked an

event can't be selected again by the system until all nine events have been used.

Let's look at them in alphabetical order.

First up we have the 21 gun salute.

In the last couple of beta versions I added assets from the 'Frontline' theme

pack which includes these anti-air guns and batteries. People wanted to know if

they could be used at all which they cannot because they are simple static

props. But thanks to an entity called 'tf_point_weapon_mimic' I decided to make a

21-gun salute. The Rockets are completely harmless.

When I was creating the TV props I was experimenting with different skins I could make.

One such idea I had was for 'Anonymous' to hack the TVs in order to warn guests at the hotel of

some form of danger. The danger in question ended up being the Monolith.

I used the audio from the message to create a separate video with added

subtitles which you can find here. (See link above or description)

The next event on our list is the cinema which we have already covered.

The random version simply unlocks the button, presses it, and re-locks it again.

This was another result of my

experimentation with the skins for the TV props and it was a cheap and easy

jump scare ok!? And because I'm not that mean he's that photo coming up nice and

slowly, so no jump scares here. The sound effect for it comes from an old

Halloween update. Back in 2010 part of the update was the inclusion of various

'Noise makers', one of which was a crazy laugh. You can't get those items anymore

but the sound effects for them still exist in game so I simply reused one of them.

The earthquake is a fairly simple 30 second event. There isn't much else to

say about it really. It's an earthquake. Moving on...

Up next we have the false alarm. Apparently people like nukes or maybe

they like reasons to use the bunker who knows. The false alarm event was

added to make people think that the endgame nuke was about to come.

After 5 to 10 minutes, the all-clear is sounded and the map goes back to normal.

However there is a one in five chance that it could end up as a genuine red

alert, which to some of you is good news....

This is probably the least known of all the random events.

The ghost simply floats around the basement of the map,

passing through many of the rooms. He doesn't do anything to players though in

testing it did originally have a brief stun effect if you got too close to it.

This was dropped because I felt players might find this annoying.

Out of all the Easter eggs in the map, this one is my personal favourite.

It's a reference to the 1960's television show 'Thunderbirds'

which were repeated (those are reruns for you Americans)

in the late 1980s and early 1990s when I was a kid.

The music you hear is the pool opens is part of the show's theme tune.

In the show there was a secret organization called 'International Rescue' that was based on a

remote island base and had a fleet of special vehicles,

the so-called 'Thunderbirds'. The Thunderbirds would remain hidden

until they were needed where they would launch from various hiding places.

For 'Thunderbird One', it was from underneath the swimming pool that would slide out

the way opening up a hole for the craft to pass through.

Much to my annoyance, a lot of people mistake this for the end-game nuke, despite the fact that this

one explodes after take-off! I had planned on making a custom prop of 'Thunderbird One'

but I struggled with parts of the design so I stuck with the placeholder prop I had

been using since first adding it. Also the reason it explodes is so that I

didn't have to make it teleport to the skybox and fly off like the rocket does in 'sd_doomsday'.

And finally at the bottom of our list we have the U.F.O.

You can blame the invasion update for this. It added a lot of UFO related props and effects so of course I had to add some of them to the map.

The music you hear as it flies by is the theme to 'The X-Files', a TV show about

aliens and other weird goings on.

And now we've nearly reached the end of the video so let's go out with a bang.

I previously mentioned how there is a small chance of the end-game nuke appearing early but some people have asked me why

but some people have asked why it's even there. Well a factor server maintenance is that they all need to be

restarted at some point for need to reload certain files periodically.

Since day one, the map has had a timer on the screen indicating when the "game" would

end allowing the server to do what it needs to do whilst the map changes over.

Rather than having the game abruptly stop, I wanted to give players fair

warning that the end is coming soon.

The first warning for the end-game nuke

always comes at the three minute mark in the form of a yellow alert. Two minutes

later at the 60-second mark it is upgraded to a red alert, at which point

the door to the bunker is closed and the missile itself flies over the hotel

hitting a TV broadcast tower in the distance.

Nobody, not even a medic with an übercharge can survive against the nuke.

And that's it. That's all of the Easter eggs for this map.

If the video gets enough likes, I'll make a part 2 covering the developmental history of the map with a
