Winston Advanced Guide: 1st Thing XQC doesn't talk about - Duration: 3:41.
Greetings... Hello I'm Lant Plays, and today I'm gonna wish everyone a happy new year first, and
I'm going to talk about something that most Winston players usually don't talk about, including XQC, in fact
this is something that I researched during my own time, and I hope this doesn't really
bug all the other Winston pros or something because
like I'm pretty sure nobody talks about this, so here we go. Here's something about Winston you might know about.
If you're familiar with Winston, or you're a pro Winston or you're watched XQC's guide,
it's always optimal to land a melee attack as
as soon as you're about to land on the ground after using your Jump Pack.
... to maximize your damage output, that's what XQC tells you.
So I'm going to tell you what XQC doesn't tell you.
Right now I'm going to do 2 types of jumps... I mean 2 types of melee attacks. The first type is
that I'm gonna melee as close as I get to the ground, so I'm going to do this...
Alright, did you see that? Let me do it again.
See... I used my melee attack and it creates some lag (around 0.4s) before I use my primary fire. I'm going to show this again.
(that not a gud display i do it again)
See there's still some lag (around 0.4s) before I use my primary attack again. I'm holding down LMB too, note that. So yeah. I'm going to do this
Right. I'm going to just show it again.
See? There's some lag before I can use my primary fire again. Kinda weird right?
And that's (incomprehensible stuttering) if I'm
just trying to melee as close as i can to the ground.
The main thing about using melee...
after jump pack is Winston is that
(2nd type) You want to make sure that your fist is fully extended
as you land on the ground to minimize all the amount of lag. So for example like this...
Like that.
So you want to make your fist is fully extended so that you can have no lag
when you land the ground so that you can use your primary fire immediately, so I'm gonna do this example again.
Right here I'm gonna use my melee as soon as I get to the ground, that's the first type.
There's a bit of lag... See? There's a bit of lag.
But if I use my melee when it's fully extended... (2nd type)
See, no lag at all... even though my frames are dropping (my laptop & graphics card is actually horrible)
Alright, I'm going to show this again.
Type 1: Melee as close to the ground.
Like that. Second type: Melee in which my fist is (fully) extended.
No lag at all... see? There's no lag at all.
So what have we learned? Here's the thing that XQC doesn't talk about.
You want to melee...
in that your fist is fully extended when you land on the ground.
That's something you want to be aware of . You don't want to melee as soon as you hit the ground... nope.
Don't do that, it'll create
unnecessary lag that's going to affect your DPS as Winston. (0.4s is ~ 24 damage as Winston with primary fire)
I'm sure XQC will appreciate this as well, so yeah. (24 is 40% of Winston's normal DPS, which is quite a lot)
Make sure your fist is fully extended.
And that's about it. So uh...
Wish everybody a Happy New Year. I'll be uploading more videos later, also my frames are dropping... good God. So I'm gonna suicide right now.

yourself for a reason you should travel to Japan know that Japan is an amazing
country with a very rich and long cultural heritage what sites to see in
japan include metropolitan areas like tokyo are over the top and built up to
the sky you can spend half the day or more in a single block or even building
shopping in tokyo as most shops or built up and have eight or nine floors and if
you're in the Shinjuku district your favorite designer or brand will have a
store with a tour dyeing floors making it quite easy to forget about adding
diversity to your shopping experience reason number one traveling overseas to
another country if you've never been overseas or out of the country Japan is
an ally of the United States with US military bases when traveling in Japan
although Japanese of the official language you can find some English on
the street signs in the subways and scattered throughout local businesses to
help english speakers get by and when communicating in japan many japanese
people know some english if all else fails visiting another country and
learning about another culture is a life and witching experience and another
answer to the question why visit japan before I finished sharing more awesome
reasons to travel to Tokyo Japan don't forget to check out the links and show
notes in the YouTube description below to learn more about traveling to Tokyo
Japan or if you're interested in taking your own big trip to Japan click on the
link above or in the show notes below to check out the big trip to Japan travel
guide reason number 2 Japanese technology and lifestyle although a lot
of our consumer technology comes from Asia or is mass-produced in Asia Japan a
country of great pride and discipline is not a culture that is as obsessed with
convenience entertainment and pleasure as the US is obsessed an island nation
space is commodity hence everything in Japan a smaller much smaller the average
washing machine is probably the size of an extra-large bucket most people drive
their clothes on their clotheslines outside and in the winter and in the
rain the bathroom shower room is heated and used to hang dry clothes as well
the average refrigerator is probably the size of a giant dorm room with a drainer
in the US and I still have yet to figure out there are four or five types of
recycling I often had to leave stuff on the counter of my in-laws kitchen
because I just couldn't figure it out which been to use and I thought it was
rude to put it in the wrong bed but life and technology in Japan is not all grim
the Japanese internet is much faster as a matter of fact we rented a 183
megabits per second pocket Wi-Fi device with unlimited internet acces for up to
seven users and an eight to nine hour charge plus extra battery for about $250
for three weeks reason number three houses in Japan we usually stay in Japan
with family the houses and rooms are much smaller with the stairwells
oftentimes very steep I have diabetes and the bedrooms of my in-laws house in
Kisha ma area Takizawa City and Tokyo were upstairs
while these singular bathroom was downstairs I remember my first trip was
up the stairs and down the stairs several times every night as I
frequently had to relieve myself and in my mother-in-law's house the stairs were
so steep that I could use my hands coming up and down the stairs like using
a ladder when I asked my wife how they could possibly have gotten the furniture
up those stairs she said they actually wasted it through
the windows many Japanese homes do not have central air they have a different
type of AC unit located in the ceiling of the main rooms and bedrooms they get
pretty cold once you figure out how to work the remotes but it can be
sweltering in the hallways in the summer reason number four my favorite thing in
Japan Japanese bathrooms Japanese bathrooms are awesome the shower is more
or less the entire bathroom if a drain in the middle of the floor
Japanese people bathe either in the tub or squatting on a stool with the shower
handle but the handle could be raised high to shower western-style
many people have the hi-tech toilets on steroids in Japan that can warm the seat
and provide a cleansing squirt of various temperatures intensities and
patterns for both the rear and other parts it's actually better for your body
to cleanse with water instead of continuously scrubbing wet paper reason
number 5 developing an appreciation for America another answer to the question
why this is Japan is that it will help you appreciate America I love America
but I have my fair share of Wellington the complaints about my first visit to
Tokyo part of me was expecting to be blown away by what the Japanese may be
doing better than us never before in my life what I have thought that upon
returning to my humble abode from Japan just south of Kissimmee and in Disney of
Davenport Florida that I would consider my home
curious a spoiled American that was completely naive to the pleasantries we
take for granted even amongst other first world nations actually came back
with a greater appreciation for America and all of its modern conveniences and
opportunities thanks for watching this video subscribe here for more videos

now is the time to be something greater I'll see you in the next day

OSRS Black Knights' Fortress - OSRS Guide - Duration: 8:48.
Items Needed to Complete Quest: Bronze med helm, Iron chainbody, and Cabbage (Do not use one from Draynor Manor).
Talk to Sir Amik Varze, he will tell you that the Black knights are planning to destroy the White knights. He will ask you to spy on them. Accept his challenge.
Go to the Black Knights Fortress which is located on the north side of Ice Mountain.
If you have the Bronze medium helmet and the Iron chainmail right now, wear them. After putting them on, open the sturdy door in the central part of the fortress, facing the south
Push the wall just behind the door and go up the ladder. Once inside, you can put your normal (stronger) armour on for extra defence.
Head back downstairs to the room with the false wall, and try to open the door to the east where many black knights are walking around a table.
One of the guards will say that the Black knights are having an important meeting and they will kill everyone who gets in. Say that you are brave and go inside anyway.
One of the Black knights will attack you. Ignore and run away from the knights and climb up the ladder on the north wall of the room. Head to your east and then south to come across a wall that you can push.
Push the wall to see a hole. Right-click the Cabbage that you picked earlier and use it on the hole. The Cabbage will fall into the cauldron and destroy the weapon.

A Pacifist's Guide to the War on Cancer 2018 | Collaborator Dr Valerie Beral | Complicité - Duration: 2:55.
(music)
I'm Valerie Beral I'm professor of epidemiology at University of Oxford I'm a
cancer epidemiologist which means I study the causes of cancer; why people in
the population get cancer.
That's quite an interesting question. It's a term that I think Richard Nixon first came up with when
there was a discovery that some cancers were caused by
infectious agents; by viruses and there was an idea that maybe lots of cancers
were caused by viruses and Nixon put a lot of money in and he called it the war
on cancer and this is 50/40 years ago.
To pacifists who have cancer I guess you'd say you know a lot of the
treatments that have been developed over the last few decades work very well and
don't resist them but on the other hand don't imagine that you're fighting this
war yourself it's not really a personal war at all and that idea
I think is quite misleading.
I think probably the worst thing that I hear quite often is that a breakthrough
for the treatment or prevention of cancer is around the corner, it isn't, we've
made a lot of progress with cancer, with cancer treatment, with cancer prevention
but it's all been incremental lots of small advances, on balance, have
made quite big impacts particularly for breast cancer, so it's been small
breakthroughs small changes that have been very powerful in their effects but
there's been no huge breakthrough and there isn't likely to be a big huge
breakthrough.
The common myth about cancer I think is people feel that something that
they've done and particularly if something's happened in the
last few years that have been very stressful is to attribute that to
the cause of cancer and we really know quite a lot that stress doesn't
cause cancer and what's happened to you in the last few years isn't an effect,
it's... I think that's a misconception that's very widespread, that it's
something wrong that you've done and often also that something
that someone else has done, that there's something in the environment you can't
see that's causing cancer, that's not true either.
