"The Coffee Joint'" Denver Approves First Legal Social Cannabis Club/Lounge - Duration: 4:46.

Kind of history in the making we will be the first ever

licensed social club in the US and actually even in the world a

Lot of people saying go what about all the social clubs in Amsterdam.

They just are technically not legal, and they haven't been shut down. But we will be the first ever licensed

We're gonna basically be a cannabis entertainment and Education Center

It will be a place where you can come socially consume cannabis the other cannabis enthusiasts and also learn about the plant

It means that they will finally be able to come to a place in Colorado where they can

Consume cannabis socially with other people meet other cannabis enthusiasts connect on different likes dislikes

Interests they'll be able to learn about cannabis as a holistic health alternative

I personally am a big fan of cannabis for health it solves so many problems so if you have chronic pain

And you're sick of relying on prescription drugs

you can come here and learn of a safe alternative way to heal your body from my

Perspective and just who I've talked to it's they need a place like this hotels are sick of people smoking in their room

People aren't you're not allowed to smoke on the street

It's not legal

so

If you want to go meet other people you need to go have a place where you can do that you can't just meet people

in your room

Smoking or vaping or dabbing so it's just a place where people actually get to connect and the candice community will have an outlet for

education for socializing for

Everything all of our staff is being trained currently through a program at the trichome Institute

Which is this awesome place? Which is all about cannabis knowledge? We tell you about terpenes?

How the it affects your body where it affects your body?

So everyone who works here will be able to tell you exactly what you're buying and where it's going to affect your body

They'll be able to give you their recommendation on the adequate dosage

Especially if you haven't had anything before they always recommend start off with a little then move up

As well as that the dispensary next door we're all trained in the health benefits

If you want to know what can I take for nausea? What can I take for insomnia?

Can I take for anxiety?

They'll tell you the best strain for that or the best CBD product, and then the rest of the information. You'll need to know

Here you will be able to vape flower wax oil you can dab

You can consume any form of edible THC coffee candies whatever your gonna think of the only thing you can't do is actually smoke

Because of the Colorado Clean Air Act but anytime a vapor smoke is fine, so you got your oil rig take a doubt

That's great. You want to vape your pen. That's fine. You want to consume your edible. That's great

You just can't have like smoke

How it will work is if you want to go next door and buy a product you'll get a free entrance fee

and

Then you can also bring your own products into the store and just help to pay a five dollar insurance fee

Just to come hang out

but so yeah anything THC related you buy next door and also we're having a lot of events with vendors who sell next door so

They're gonna come to an event bring their product and then actually give our customers a coupon so they can go next door

Buy the product get a discount and then come over here and consume it and also

Learn how to use it if you're not sure how to consume edibles or you've never done it before you want to learn about

Dosing what's it going to feel like that vendor will be there for you to answer all your questions

So any food you buy here none of it is continuing with THC

We cannot sell anything psychoactive anything here is just regular food or a CBD product

And it has a label and you know exactly what you're buying you're not going to accidentally buy goldfish. They get you high

And in the back that's our event social club area, that's where we'll host educational events yoga nights

Maybe cooking classes paint your own coffee cup

Movie nights anything you can think of that would be great to socialize and meet other people

We really want to take away that stigma that cannabis is just a gateway drug or it's just people who smoke

It don't have a good memory and are lazy

People who smoke cannabis a very productive members of society and a lot of them do it for health reasons they either have anxiety depression

Maybe an autoimmune disease that doesn't make them hungry

So it's actually really a beneficial health supplement it

Also is something you can do recreationally, which doesn't hurt if you're feeling down and had a bad day at work

You can have a joint and you won't have a hang-up

You

Coffee Break - We Can Help - Duration: 2:11.

Our unit is almost 20 years old and I don't know how much longer we got.

You're on borrowed time.

Well we're old fashioned.

When it breaks down we replace it, that's it, but what happens when it breaks down in

the summer time?

You know.

It breaks down on a Sunday?

Are we going to call a technician and have him come?

Their fee's are gonna be double.

Not necessarily with our firm.

We're available.

We got 7 days a week service, we've got staff, we got people working into the evenings.

So there is always somebody available and we don't charge for overtime.

That is fantastic.

I never knew that.

Yes sir, obviously holidays are additional because we are paying the help additionally.

When you mentioned not replacing something until it breaks.

Something to bear in mind is, utilities keep going up.

Natural gas is pretty low right now, petrol is only 2 cents a gallon more than what it

was a year ago at this time, but that's not where it will stay.

Things continue to rise.

The bigger concern is electrical usage.

If you got a 20 year old furnace and air conditioning system and your utility company is looking

at double digit rate increases again this year.

They're asking for a hefty 16%.

So there's ways to save on energy.

We've got wonderful programs to help people.

We've got financing choices that are 0%.

Makes life easy to get these things put in.

Well I'm glad you mentioned financing because I know if we do both furnace, hot water tank,

and also air conditioning.

It's gonna cost some money.

We have no idea, but we are guessing it's gonna cost.

Some money.

That's a good way to phrase it.

But we make it affordable and all of people well trained, they go to charm school here

at Bob Hamilton University and we got great kids.

They make it pretty painless.

That's great, that's great.

Well I'm glad we had this little coffee break.

There you go, here's to you.

To you sir.

Allhands: I don't drink coffee. There's a metaphor here - Duration: 1:58.

If you guys thought I was mistaken before,

hold my beer.

Er, coffee.

Because, yeah, I don't drink this stuff.

I don't know why people have such a strong reaction

when I say I don't drink coffee, either.

Usually, they tilt their head a little,

with this confused look on their faces,

and barrage me with the same questions.

1:

Do you drink tea?

Not really.

Well, how about beer/wine/whisky?

Yeah. I'm not a teetotaler.

So, how can you not like the taste of coffee?

I've tried it. It's OK.

But it makes me jittery.

And the last thing you want is for me to be jittery.

So, what do you do if someone asks you to coffee?

I have water.

And coffee shops usually have pastries.

I'll survive.

So, how do you stay awake without the caffeine?

Because I sleep at night.

I don't know. I just don't need caffeine to function.

Now, let's be clear:

I'm not saying that you shouldn't drink coffee.

Some studies have suggested that

coffee can be good for you in moderation.

But just because I don't order my day around

a $5 Starbucks run

doesn't make me weird.

And you don't have to walk on eggshells

when you get a cup.

It doesn't offend me.

You know,

come to think of it,

you could replace the word 'coffee' in this video

with any other difference of opinion -

be it food, politics -

and the answers would be the same.

We're not all alike.

And that's a good thing.

If anything,

the fact that I don't drink coffee just leaves

more in the pot for you.

Oh, thank you.

You're welcome.

Coffee Break - Good Ol' Days - Duration: 1:51.

Well we're just kind of chatting about of the reasons that folds would consider replacing

a furnace and possibly an air conditioning system.

You know it's not at all like what happened in our parents' day where

they would get 40 years out of a furnace.

You know a guy could come by with a hammer and a pair of pliers and put a 10 dollar part

on and make it work.

These things are.

That's true.

That's very true.

They're a lot more technical.

Another thing about furnaces, they are no longer a "set it and forget it" appliance.

These things are a lot more technical then they used to be.

Where there were maybe 6 parts in a furnace 30 years ago, there's 18-20 of them up inside

of the furnace.

A lot more things to go wrong.

I don't know if you are aware of this but amongst other things that have occurred in

our business.

The EPA has banned the refrigerant that we've been using for a great number of years now

and the price has just gone through the roof.

Here probably about 2020, as I understand it, we're not even going to be aloud to add

it any longer.

So if you've been having to add freon, if you've been having to make repairs every year

then that would be a real strong reason to consider changing your stuff.

I've had that happen two years in a row actually.

Gallon to a gallon and a half of freon cost me, a little bit more money then I wanted

to spend.

Pretty good rule of thumb I go by is, is if an appliance is 10 years or older, I'll spend

maybe 500 dollars fixing it.

That's all.

That applies to stoves, fridges, washers, dryers, dishwashers, water heaters, certainly

a furnace and an air conditioner.

I'm glad we had this little coffee break.

There you go, here's to you.

To you sir.

Coffee With Mike - People In Your Life During Crisis - Duration: 1:29.

When I reflect back on

on some of the most difficult

periods of my life

what stands out most clearly in my memory

is the people who were involved

in my life at that time.

Now unfortunately,

they're not all good memories.

Some people saw the crisis I was in

as an opportunity to take advantage

of my weekness.

Others decided to kick me when I was down.

But in every major crisis

that I have been through in my life,

I can now look back

and see that each time

there were people who were there

to hold my head above water

when I felt like I was drowning.

At the time,

it was easy to overlook them.

But now I can look back and see how

God was using them

as HIs instruments

to meet my needs

in the darkest of times.

If you have a relationship with God,

He promises that He will never

leave you or forsake you.

Usually God is not only there

in a spiritual sense,

but also practically and physically

through His people.

If you're going through

a dark time in life,

I know that God has

put people in your life

through whom He's communicating His grace.

Don't overlook them.

We also have to remember

that there are people around us

who are going through

their own dark times.

And you have to be open

to the possibiliy that God

may have called you

to be the person to step into

their pain

and to be God's instrument

to meet their needs

in their darkest of times.
