Auto news on Youtube Dec 3 2018

hello everyone I'm Hudy from state #5 and today I'm going to talk about

clash of zones I briefly mentioned this event in my last video as a state versus

state event some of you wrote me in the game that they want to know everything

about clash of zones since it's the most powerful resource for diamonds I will

divide this content into three parts since there is a lot to talk about this

part one video will be divided into two more parts basics which contains

research and research order required for clashes zones what to focus on overall

what to do to keep getting good rewards and then gather event how it works and

tips and tricks alright let's get to it clash of zones is an event where you

challenge an enemy state for one whole week almost every day you have a unique

event testing the strength of your state the schedule is easy to remember since

there are only seven days a week gathering on Monday building on Tuesday

research Wednesday hero development Thursday train troops Friday and finally

kill enemy troops on Saturday and Sunday you will also find this schedule on the

description of the video along with the daily event sketch there is an easy rule

you have to get as many chests as possible for the least amount of effort

in the last video I said that its adviced to complete more daily events on

specific days let's have an example you have a limited amount of score boosters

for clash of zones by the way use only 100% ones. So you will choose

a time when there will be two events of the same kind in a row for example

Tuesday 5 a.m. and 6 a.m. game time and then you should use a score booster at

5:50 complete your daily event and then at 6:05 complete the other daily event

you will have two dailies completed with maximum potential you can get. Now let's

talk about research the only technology tree that you need for this event is

Zone Commemoration basically you need to max out this technology as soon as

possible because the reward from maxing out this tree is basically unlimited amount

of diamonds lots of resources medals and money so the first thing you can notice

is that for every single upgrade in this tree Courage medals are required but

how to get them there are three ways to get them first and the worst zombies by

wasting up all your durability from all four APCs you will get about 15

courage medals which is terrible second way the champion duels event by winning

fights you can get into top four champions from your state that will give

you an advantage over others but ending up in top 4 is pretty hard and at last

the best and for most mortals the only way how to get huge amount of courage

medals clash of zones from chest three onwards you will be getting a certain

amount of courage medals so it's advised to get the highest tier of box possible

that said coming back to the research tree. There are upgrades boosting maximum

levels of chests that could be earned as you can see on the video from that point

you will need to have all these *four* researches max before you can unlock

super rewards my advice is to do the right side first because it will help you big

time during troops day after you unlock super rewards go to the left these

technologies will help you during six days of the week while the right side

gives boost only to the hero development day. Then just go straight for One More

Reward! Okay that could be enough from the basic subject so let's jump into

specific days Monday - gathering in this event as the name suggests you have to

gather resources from resource tiles well let's jump to lines technology

there are three technologies that will help you in gathering day they're called

resource level and resource expert these technologies will allow you to build

seven level ten resource stations of each kind all over the state

use them to gather near your city then you also have considerable collection that

boosts gathering speed of all members but that's not all no no no aside from zone

and alliance tech, there are more ways to speed up gathering process and obtain

many points for example gather boosts that could be purchased from a line

store but remember use it before you send out troops gathering otherwise it

won't work. Then we have Trailblazer parts that could be equipped to your APCs

to obtain more points aaand there is another way you wouldn't believe how

this thing boosts your overall points it's your president, your president can

simply boost your state score by millions but he or she has to be online

it works like this you ask your president for Secretary of Finance buff that will

boost your gather speed by 20% send all your a APCs gathering then the

president can give the buff to someone else did you think the gathering is easy

well here is another thing also regarding a president you have

to ask your president for the first lady buff once you're ready to pull your APCs

back from gathering to get 10% more points also don't forget to activate

your 100% score booster and now a few bonus tips for the ones who made it as

far in the video Clash of Zones is four weeks long then there is one week

without competition use that window to start your gathering on Saturday you

will get loads of points also this event by that I mean Gathering is the best for

your farms alternative accounts as I mentioned in

my last video they will get boosted by this event big time and it won't take a

lot of time considering you can only send them gathering and that's it next

time I will be talking about build research and hero development days thank

you guys for watching this video leave a like if you liked it dislike if you

didn't subscribe and have a great time bye

Venice Italy Travel Guide | Travel Europe - Duration: 5:04.

Considered to be the main street of Venice, the Grand Canal is always busy with boats.

Travelers say that the Grand Canal should be visited twice: once during the day to see

the action of the city and once during the night to feel the romantic allure that Venice

is so famous for.

The Rialto Bridge is so beautiful, travelers recommend seeing it from all angles by crossing

it, walking along the Grand Canal and if you have the time and cash, floating under it

via gondola.

Piazza San Marco is beautiful, but because of the amount of popular attractions there

(Doge's Palace, Museo Correr, Campanile di San Marco and Saint Mark's Basilica), it is

always crowded.

Plan to tour the area early in the morning or later in the evening to beat the crowds.

Gondolas have become a must-do when visiting Venice.

Although many go to the Grand Canal to catch a ride, veteran visitors suggest searching

for more off-the-beaten path pickup points for a cheaper price.

The Doge's Palace, also known as the Palazzo Ducale, acted as the official residence of

the Duke of Venice.

The island of Burano is famous for its high-quality lace, but visitors really enjoy the brightly

colored buildings that dot the area.

Once the city's customs house, the Punta della Dogana Art Museum houses contemporary works

of art.

If you're not interested in art, cross the Grand Canal for a new view of the surrounding

islands and sea.

Even gondolas need some time to rest their feet from touring during the high season.

Aside from housing many of the city's most important historical attractions, Piazza San

Marco is great place to simply to rest your feet and take in the life of the city.

Venetians celebrate their Carnival season every February with ornate masks and costumes.

The gorgeous Doge's Palace was built in the Venetian Gothic style.

Inside the ornate Doge's Palace, travelers will see marvels, such as the Scala d'Oro

golden stairway, designed by Sansovino.

The Basilica di San Marco exudes opulence from every corner.

The Basilica di San Marco is filled with more 86,000 square feet of mosaics.

World-renowed for being a prime example of Byzantine architecture, art and architecture

enthusiasts flock to Venice to feast their eyes on the Basilica di San Marco's intricate

aesthetics.

The 92-foot Ponte di Rialto dates back to 1588.

You'll find lovely details on the Basilica di Santa Maria Gloriosa dei Frari.

If you're looking to escape the crowds surrounding the Grand Canal, look no further than the

Jewish Ghetto.

Not only is it teeming with rich history of Venice and the Jewish community, but it has

a plethora of restaurants that won't break the bank the way a plate of pasta in San Marco

will.

If you reach the Bridge of Sighs really early in the morning, you might get it to yourself.

The ornate Teatro La Fenice is a popular opera house.

Past visitors say one of the best ways to experience the Jewish Ghetto is via a walking

tour.

If you plan on traveling to Venice with your significant other, make sure to take a gondola

ride under the Bridge of Sighs.

Legend has it if two lovers kiss as they pass under the bridge, they will be granted eternal

love.

Those that make it to the top of the Campanile di San Marco will be rewarded with this view.

Inside the intimate Gallerie dell'Accademia, visitors will see works of art just about

everywhere, including the ceiling.

After the throngs of tourists at other Venice attractions, most travelers appreciated the

relative quiet at the Basilica di Santa Maria Gloriosa dei Frari.

Seafood pasta is a staple on many Venetian restaurant menus.

For a unique souvenir, pick up a traditional Carnival mask.

If you don't want to fork over the money for a pricey gondola ride, consider hopping aboard

a waterbus.

Past visitors provide ample praise for the walking tours offered by La Bussola, which

take travelers to the city's main landmarks.

Even if you're not interested in shopping at T Fondaco dei Tedeschi, Venice's glitzy

department store, visitors say you should still make a trip to enjoy the rooftop, which

offers stunning views of Venice.

Plus, it's free.

Thank you for watching.

I hope you guys are ready for healthy eating 101 the key here is balance

making healthy decisions each and every day so becomes ingrained in you and

turns into a lifestyle something you'll be addicted to and you will feel 110

percent this is my guide this is going to go step by step into a

healthy eating lifestyle guide not restrictive not a diet but a lifestyle

the guide is below in the description box click the link to download the free

guide so you can follow along please give me a thumbs up and subscribe to my

channel and social media for more videos all right guys we are going to start off

with a few important tips first off by water bottle staying well hydrated will

curb any unhealthy habits and cravings that you have pack your lunch every day

just avoid buying out invest in some Tupperware to help with meal prepping

pinterest has a bunch of recipes that will help out and lastly a buy in bulk

there are discount grocery stores and costco is amazing for this crazy fact

avoid the middle of every grocery store most processed items are actually

located here the perimeter is where you find the fresh healthy stuff also try to

avoid alcohol if at all means possible you do not need any of those empty

calories lastly aim to do quick easy meals tuna

salad egg white muffins rotisserie chicken healthy sandwiches quick easy

recipes so you can avoid eating out remember to do some research learn about

proper portion sizes proper nutrients what is a carb what is a fat what is a

protein what are good fats and bad fats what are vitamins and minerals that are

important for you to have avoid overly processed products anything with

ingredients you can pronounce or more than five ingredients on the nutrition

label probably a big indicator it is not good

for you stick to water avoid soda and sugary drinks to avoid the extra

calories lastly skip the extra cream skip the

sugar in your coffee these are things that are extra that you don't need

aim for water and healthier substitutes such as tea instead so what do we buy

here are some grocery list suggestions for carbs we want to go for complex

carbs complex carbs take longer for your body to digest they're full of healthy

nutrients and minerals that your body needs to keep feeling fuller longer and

feel great and healthy some of my personal faves quinoa brown rice sweet

potatoes anything whole grain some of my personal faves to keep you healthy

longer and to avoid snacking limit things such as corn which is very high

in sugar legumes they're great for you it's a

great substitute if you're a vegetarian for example but they do cause a lot of

bloating for some others for protein we want to avoid lots of cholesterol and

fatty proteins go for lean healthy meats and other sources of protein salmon

tilapia seafood chicken breasts these are all great sources for you try to

limit packaged deli meats and full of salt red meats limit to less than twice

a week if not any because it is high in cholesterol tofu vegan protein powder is

also great for my vegetarians for fats there are good fats and bad fats we do

need good fats to build muscle have healthy skin and nails a few great

sources avocado hummus peanut butter almond butter olive oil these are all

things that your body needs a healthy diet is also full of vegetables rule of

thumb I like to fill out my plate have full of veggies to avoid excess amount

of carbs or protein broccoli kale spinach tomatoes great

sources of vitamins and minerals for your healthy lifestyle fruits are also

an important part of your diet now we do have to be careful because some fruits

are better than others some have a lot of sugars so try to stay away from those

dried fruit on the best for you grapes do have a lot of calories so be careful

with that fruits that are great for you apples berries oranges papaya watermelon

fill your diet up with these yummy fruits what dairy we do want to avoid

processed products low fat cheese's almond based skim based milk cottage

cheese these are all great sources for you to also get your calcium and your

vitamin D keep your bones and muscles healthy and strong and help with good

gut flora and aid in a healthy digestive system we really want to try to avoid

condiments as much as possible there are a lot of hidden unhealthy calories in

fatty dressings like ranch buffalo sauce ketchup has a lot of salt in there so

not good for you so try that for healthier options

something like vinegar and olive oil low-sodium soy sauces a little bit of

balsamic a little bit of pepper just healthier wholesome options for you also

consider substitutes like honey and brown sugar and stead of white sugar

things like agave nectar instead of maple syrup again we want to avoid extra

cows and also anything with high fructose corn syrup there are so many

good things in life but unfortunately they're not the best for you anything

with added chemicals artificial flavoring food dyes probably not good

for you again alcohol try to limit it alcohol is not always the answer

artificial ingredients and flavors go for 100% natural fruit juices and

instead artificial sweeteners stevia things like that not good for you limit

shares personal weakness of mine cakes cookies ice cream not good for you

either but everything is okay in moderation remember balance is key watch

out for the nutrition labels remember 25 grams of sugar is the upper limit for

adults a lot of prepackaged items have way more sugar than this avoid empty

calories chips again those packaged snacks so

convenient but can be detrimental to your health

and again those high-calorie dressings especially salads from fast-food places

not to be healthiest for you a nice way to avoid sugary drinks and so this is

just to add a little bit of flavour to water a little bit of lemon lime

cucumber for an extra pizazz again avoid overly processed products that we talked

before earlier processed meats frozen meats they are often high in saturated

and trans fats definitely a no-no for you and also beware of things like

canned foods msg those TV dinners lots of sodium that will leave you bloated

for days remember it is a lifestyle and not a diet it's not a race but these are

helpful tips to help you succeed aim for five to six smaller meals a day it's

better for your metabolism and you can have little snacks instead of the three

large meals a day remember cheat meals and desserts are

okay just don't make it a whole cheat day remember it's a balanced lifestyle

you can have a cookie every now and then it won't kill you watch your portion

sizes MyFitnessPal is a great way to track this and also if you're trying to

lose weight remember you need to burn more energy than energy you're inputting

with food so either cut back on food or more importantly

more cardio add more exercise to burn the extra calories I hope you liked this

video feel free to share it with your friends so we can all be a happier and

healthier world and see you guys next time

Ukulele Video Play Along Podcast Episode 11: 2018 Holiday Gift Guide - Duration: 6:15.

Jingle bells jingle bells, jingle all the way! Oh what fun it is to ride in a

one-horse open sleigh, oh jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way! Oh what fun it is to ride in a one-horse open

sleigh! Hey! (Good job with the "hey" there!) Alright, everybody, welcome to the podcast this is Episode number 11

of the Ukulele Video Play Along Podcast. My name is Chris Russell and

this is my son, Luke, who is 6. He's here to help me out today as we talk about

some holiday shopping ideas...the things that he could buy me for Christmas...

probably not ...alright, so with that in mind let's take a look at a few of these

things . The first one is this and he's going to be my assistant (So you have to make sure

they can see it). The first one is this, the Octopus Nomad 8-in-1 tool. It's

wonderful for ukulele work. It's got this really cool thing on the end that let's

you tighten tuning buttons when you change strings, which is pretty good. Yoiu know why it is called the Octopus? It

has eight different tools... he was talking about the sides of the little

hex wrench on there that you can use the tighten various things. OK, so put that

one down. Okay ,next item... humidifiers even though I make my own the standard is the

Oasis OH-18 ukulele humidifier and this one's all dried out because I'm using my

own that I'm making with water beads. (You've seen me play with those...)(Yeah) but

this is the Oasis humidifier and you fill it up with distilled water these

are about twenty dollars. It's a good suggestion what do you think about that?

Yeah. Alright. OK, you can put that one down

How about ukulele strings? Now if you're gonna buy someone ukulele

strings, don't. Just get them a gift card I suggest buy stringsbymail.com. You

want to hold those and show people? My favorite brand are Martin-- those are

tenor and soprano concert strings but you can buy somebody agift card and they

will like that a lot.

Now don't worry about it, it's okay, it's alright. Alright...ukulele straps! If you

have strap ones on your ukulele. I have a bunch of companies that I like for

ukulele straps. One of my favorite recently is Uke Straps on Facebook and

these are a couple of her new prints one with ukuleles on it and then one with

chord shapes which I'm going to love to teach with this year they also have

another color in this so ukulele straps are awesome if you have strap buttons

and if you don't think about getting them okay

no okay alright cable maybe okay so Capo's if you want to get a capo I

didn't bring it down with me but the G seventh ukulele capo is really nice it's

okay what's alright we're good let's see what else Oh ukulele ornament they're

about ten dollars it's kind of fun no I really can't play alright distilled

water if you buy somebody humidifier might as well get them some distilled

water okay some more things oh we talked about this one a lot yeah

that's my favorite tuner right now the Joe Williams smart tuner it's about $80

but hey is it ever worth it when you're tuning a bunch of ukuleles yeah I like

it and I tune their two ukuleles with it too so it's good let's see I don't have

these but the Dario makes this really cool bluetooth pack that you can put in

your case and then check your humidity levels with your iPhone or with your

Android phone the music Nomad humidifier and hygrometer is a great deal too now

just three ukuleles that you might want to check out one is the flight

tus 35 travel ukulele recently a color was on clearance on Amazon I picked one

up I really like it $60 great sturdy ukulele really loud and

very much in construction like some other famous ukuleles like the flea in

the flute the a clock concert now again about a year ago a class sent me one to

test I have sent since that time sent it off

with my niece when he's got that as a Christmas present last year and I've

bought a couple since then but a clock makes her really good ukulele and there

goes his hat and then finally the Enya x1 series and I'm just labeling the

tenor now again if you want to buy

ukulele really strongly suggest that you look at perhaps Mims unique Republic the

ukulele site elderly music or the southern ukulele store in the UK because

they will set up ukulele for you final thing to say is if you use any of

the links on this video that though Amazon links for sure are a referral

link the non Amazon links are not referral links which would send a

commission towards this site and this work I'm getting my hat okay he's gonna

get his hat also if you want to also support the work support me on patreon

if you go to patreon.com/scishow you can make a $1 donation have access

to the resources there but also help me out the videos that I'm making the

podcast and working on and everything else that we're doing alright so we want

to say a very Happy Holidays to all of you we celebrated Christmas to anybody

who celebrates Christmas we say Merry Christmas to you too

and we hope that you get what you're looking for for this holiday season and

that we do too right look yeah okay anything else to say okay now he's

starting to start up his own YouTube channel now so what do you say at the

end of your YouTube videos okay so once you say wow just for fun good bye guys

I'm good at soccer right this fix your hat your that's quite a crazy all right

there we go let's try this the music nomads hygrometer yeah the music nomads

humidifier and hyck hyck rajma turn Haggar me no I can't say it

no hygrometer I grab micrometer hygrometer

Defense Guide for Kafe Dostoyevski, all sites included - Duration: 8:27.

Ranked guide, Kafe.

There are English subtitles in the bottom!

We will start with the top floor defence.

Recommended operators are Echo and Jager.

You will need here

...here

...and here an ADS.

Reinforcements

1, 2

...3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8.

You can additionally reinforce this hatch so you can have an additional place

to be just in case if you're being heavily by the E windows.

Open this wall, a wall inbetween sites the brain of the defence and one of the sites.

You will need one, two

...three,

four

...five barbs.

Attackers usually go from the red stairs, so the barbs on the other stairs, so-called

white stairs are there to replace a person holding it.

The skylight barb is located there to stop the rush onto the site throrugh the skylight

Talking about rushing through it, open the floor beneath so your roamers can deny it as well.

Talking about anchor postions, you can play (with an Echo) way back behind the bomb

and hold the pixel angle with your ACOG.

You can shoot through this wardrobe, it is penetrable.

One more anchor spot can be on the hatch, as already noted.

One more cheeky place as an anchor is here, to see the pixel of the skylight.

It can be prefired as an attacker, so be aware of it.

You'll need someone in the freezer as you pretty much control the fluid of the game from it,

no one from attackers can drop if there is a person.

Additionally, if you don't feel like anchoring, you can play a bit more aggressive in the Piano,

make sure to break only window panels and not barricades so you can hear them easier.

Piano control is very important to have, as you can deny their Red push very easily from there.

Next defend is in the Train, recommended operators are Mira and Pulse.

Reinforcements: 1 (for the mira window pointing Mining),

2, 3

(to cut the rotation line of sight from the W balcony to the Fireplace)

...4, 5, 6, 7

...8, 9

...and this hatch.

Open this whole wall,

this part of the floor

and make a rotation here

and here.

You will need here

...here

...and here a barb.

The barb on the middle stairs is there,

for the similar reasons as the previous barbs on the past defend, to hear if they're doing that push.

You've brought Pulse as attackers usually tend to go in the Piano in order to take the

control of the most important defending room which is train, where your mira is.

Now, anchor positions.

If Pulse, be in the Train or Library,

you can play behind the train mira.

Usually, you want to have 2 max people in the Train.

You can stay here

or here.

Be aware of the ceiling.

You can also play in Library as well.

You can use Kaid to put it near the hatch, as it is very important to have it closed.

The last objective is very hard to defend, I'd definitely recommend going with full lineup

of plant stopping, such as Maestro, Echo, Smoke, Mira.

The reason of this site not being balanced is that,

it's very easy to plant on several places in the Bakery, whereas you have no safe place to be as a defender

That's why, denying the plant off the objective is a must and achievable with the following four operators.

For the reinforcements, you will need 1, 2, 3,

4,

...5, 6, 7.

You want to open this hatch, so if you have roamers upstairs, they can easier rotate back,

and have easier time defending the freezer push.

You will definitely need to open both sides of the wall.

There are two reasons of the middle reinforcement, one is to make your play on this spot easier,

you can additionally throw smoke babes whilst proning on the big door where attackers can aslo plant

The other reason is that, you have a nice angle on the Bakery window from the Kitchen as well.

You will definitely need to have a leg-level LOS on both of these two walls,

so you can, again, from the Kitchen deny the plant by the Big Door.

I've pretty much said all the anchor positions,

one more can be behind in the Kitchen, be aware of the soft wall.

One more common plant spot (which is extra safe for attackers) is this place,

you won't be able to deny it just from the Kitchen with this setup unless you have Echo, so be aware of it.

That's it!

With that being said,

Peace out!

EU4 The First Toungoo Empire Achievement Guide | Taungu Tutorial | Quick Playthrough | AAR - Duration: 12:25.

how's it going everyone welcome to the channel the first toungoo Empire

achievement has been requested a few times on this channel so I decided to

give it a go this achievement is actually not that hard even though you

start as a landlocked one province minor everyone around you isn't super strong

either and once you get the right alliances you will be safe from any

aggression even aggressive expansion isn't a huge problem you can pace it

out fairly well since you have until 1500 to complete the achievement the

initial economy is very weak though and it remains that way until you get some

Trade Centers under you which takes a while to complete this achievement we

need to get all provinces of Burmese culture group under us and these are the

provinces there aren't that many and they are spread out enough that

conquering them doesn't generate ridiculous amounts of ae providing a good

guide for this achievement is hard because you are surrounded by so many

nations that your Wars will depend entirely on alliances around you and

finding that a part soon time and someone is busy with another war so I

will provide a broader perspective here for alliances key targets and sequence of

wars and will go where my play through and see how my run played out set your

national focus on military and leave it there for all game send you merchants to

burma and bengal trade node and set them on improved relations make your heir into

a general his stats are terrible and he must die you can also make your king a

general or roll the new one either way a general with preferably three siege pips

will make the game much more manageable in my game I had two siege pips generals

which helped a lot but also there were a couple of times when I could have lost

the war because my siege wasn't fast enough compared to enemies getting a two

siege general is not hard though so you can really get one

there are many level 3 forts around here and that's why you need a good seige

general without it it's near impossible unless the dice rolls really favor you

most of the time it will be a race between who sieges the capital first

don't set your rivals yet we'll wait a month for it

start improving relations with Bengal and lan xang those are your key

long-term allies they are big enough that will deter anyone to attack you and

they don't have any provinces you need for this achievement well actually

that's not true you need one province from Bengal but we

will leave that for the last one we are big enough to take or Bengal

till then they are our best friend one of your neighbors prome is the best

first war target they are one province minor with only a level one fort which

means you can finish the war quickly also conquering the province completes

the mission and gives claims in the area that we need to take provinces from it's

very handy but your war will depend on their allies if they are just allied to

someone small say lan na you can take them both easily but if they have bigger

allies like in my game they were allied to Lana and ayutthaya

so there was no way I was attacking them at the start but if you get lucky and

conquer prome early you can start targeting any other nations you have

claim on you can also fabricate on Pegu and play

the wait and watch game for the next favorable opportunity but if your game

is like mine and you can't attack Prome then i would recommend going after your

overlord ava directly they usually have only a minor ally which you can take on

this is a difficult target though their army is bigger and they have a level 3

fort so you can't even siege it down without going over your force limit you

might find a better target such as mong pai but again it will depend from game

to game in my game they had good allies so I decided to go for Ava

first of all start spy network construction on them then refuse to

give them any tribute this should make them cancel the tributary status in a

year or so they also start with a royal marriage with us which is annoying

you'll just have to take the one stab hit as soon as you have the claim and

the tributary status is broken declare war on them get an army of ten the war

will be slow and you will lose a lot of money but you should be able to get

close to hundred percent war score eventually in this war get provinces

that neighbor as many nations as possible and some money so you can pay

your loans you can leave their capital for now as it's fairly high dev and will

generate a lot of ae after this war bankruptcy was already

looming for me but I got some money from war and now I had bigger loan amounts

because of new provinces so I was able to pay off a lot of loans

the next one is a bit tricky too I waited till my cores were done while

fabricating on Kale I already had Bengal and Lan Xang as allies at this

point as I was big enough now plus one another minor ally the reason I wanted

to attack Kale next because they were allied to Mong kowng whose provinces

you need for this achievement - my goal was to vassalize them so I can save some

admin points this war actually was a bit too close for comfort for me I was

almost full siege which would have meant - 100 % war score and I would have lost

the war one of the things that kept me alive was the defensive edict that I

switched on in my capital province it's only a level 1 capital fort so it's not

hard to see town but an added 33 percent defensiveness means their siege phases

were longer which gave me enough time to knock out a couple of allies I did

manage to vassal mong kowng and full annex Kale so now I had more provinces

next to nations I needed to conquer for this achievement this long war had just

finished and I had a lot of loans but I noticed that Pegu had just peaced out

after losing a war to ayutthaya and it was a golden opportunity to attack them

when they were weak and without an ally I already had claim on them so I

declared right away I couldn't full annex as someone else decided to attack

them at the same time but I had the province of Pegu which is a very good

province and provides a substantial boost to trade income this also meant

that it generated a lot of aggressive expansion so at the end of this war I

decided to lay down for a bit I was still losing a bit of money

thanks to my greedy ruler and a bad event with minus 10% tax modifier so

it's only 1458 and i was feeling good I knew at this point I would be able to

complete that achievement I had enough provinces and I was neighboring a lot of

nations and I had two solid allies well one of my allies was expanding too fast

and was a target of a coalition at this point which was a bit concerning as I

certainly didn't want to get called into it they very eventually attacked by the

coalition but by this time the Coalition only had a

couple of Nations so the war was easy and I owed some nice favors from my

ally this was also when the super rich Bengal decided to subsidize me which is

another reason to always Ally Bengal and now I was making money in the next war I

took the province of manipur as that completed another mission and gave me

more claims although not very useful for this achievement and now I also had a

coalition against me although it wasn't strong and I wasn't really worried about

it it just meant I couldn't attack any of those nations right now next I

started annexing my vassal although in hindsight I could have waited closer to

1500 as the vassal was giving me some extra force limit but I didn't have

anything else to do as I wanted to lay low for a bit so the AE would die down

the coalition broke apart after a couple of years so next I went to finish off

Pegu when I realized they were also allied to prome who have survived so far

I called in an ally and the war was easy I full annexed Pegu and prome which gave

me permanent claims on Ava who I attacked promptly after they were also

allied to Arakan on the other side of the mountain range whose provinces I

needed as well my allies refused to join in this war though because I had annexed

my vassal leading to negative diplo rep but I managed on my own I full annexed

both Arakan and Ava again the aggressive expansion was there but there weren't

many nations left who would be affected by it

when I annexed Ava I also got their tributaries which at the time I didn't

pay much attention to soon after Bengal called me into a war which I

decided to honour in case I needed Bengal alliance later even though I had

zero manpower at this point the war wasn't hard but it kept going for a

while that was when ming decided to attack one of my tributaries which meant

i was being called to defend them and there was no way i was going to fight

ming and no good reason either so i declined the call I did a quick war into

a couple of provinces I needed from the north then I wanted to attack ayutthaya

to take the coastal Burmese provinces that's when I noticed they

were a tributary of Ming I have no idea how that happened when they are not

neighbors because I try to become their tributary and it showed

-1000 modifier because we were not neighbors so now I had to do another war

on a tiny nation so I could get a border with ming right after that my ally

lan xang was attacked by ayutthaya and I was called into the defensive war

sometimes RNG works in your favor I gladly accepted and started seizing down

the coastal provinces I needed then I separate peace them out my allies in war

were not happy but I had enough favors with lan xang that i could raise the

trust and separate peace and still keep the alliance

it was 1488 and I had all the provinces I needed except one and to ensure my

achievement run was a success I improved relations with Ming till he

would accept my tributary status now that I was bordering him so now I was

tributary of Ming giving me defensive protection and the only province I

needed to complete the achievement was in Bengal I could have attacked them

straightaway but I had zero manpower and they're fairly rich I could have just

taken ton of loans and merced up and won but I had just broken up my

alliance with them and was waiting on the truce timer so I improved relations

with one of Bengals rivals Jaunpur till we were allies it was also during

this time that I managed to pay off all my loans it actually felt really good

given how many loans I had taken during this run and how close I came to

bankruptcy once final war was against Bengal and I called in Jaunpur with

promise of land it was quick and easy as I just wanted one province from them so

1495 and I had my first Toungoo Empire and it looks rather good I like that

color the best part about this run is that my game is in really good shape I

only have three loans and I am making money

my inflation is only 6% which is very manageable my corruption is only 3 I

actually did not debase my currency once in this run I have couple of very strong

allies while I still have room to expand the only problem is my tech where I have

43% tech penalty and only level 3 admin and diplo tech while military tech is

level 8 I was using all my dip low points on buying down war exhaustion and admin

points for coring and stability boost when my rulers died but despite this

being a timed achievement run I can actually play this campaign like almost

normal one I could hire advisors then dump monarch points to develop

institution and eventually catch up on tech

so clearly this achievement can be done a lot sooner if you go extra hard at

it and maybe I'll give that a try someday this run was a lot of fun though

more because of how relaxed it felt most time runs are fairly hectic where you

need to plan ahead a lot but this run was pretty mellow and I really enjoyed

it a lot hopefully you did too I mean just

looking at that beautiful taungu color will make you feel good

and I hope you got some pointers from my playthrough as always thanks for

watching and I'll see you all in the next one

I've been on this phone, sitting all alone, missing ya

You been on patrol, losing self control, living up

They say you live, you learn But it's hard to learn when you fall out

You left me in the dirt Pills, they don't work and I'm all out

Ooo, you never pick up and I've been tryna call ya Lately I've been roaming the streets of California

Looking for your red lips, got some roses for ya I've been running circles, I'm lost in California

Got me turning sticks and stones Got me breaking every bone Got me out here looking for ya

Babe, you never pick up and I've been tryna call ya Lately I've been roaming the streets of California

I've been counting stars and tipping my card, wishing ya

Call me back and talk, when it's broken, not giving up

They say you live, you learn But it's hard to learn when you fall out

NYC's TOP 5 Christmas Markets 2018 | Holiday Shopping Guide - Duration: 6:41.

What's up Members of the Barrio

It's Jon coming to you from New York City

And if you're planning to visit around Christmas and New years

I'm guessing one of the big things on your list is shopping

Today i'm going to be sharing my Top 5 Holiday Markets in New York

So you're ready for your next trip here

Make sure to tell me in the comments which one is your favorite

Here we go

This is the only Holiday Market on the list that is completely indoors

So come here on a very cold night

Or just come here to walk around Grand Central Station first

That's worth it to admire this historic place

Now this is by far the smallest of all the market's on the list

And you won't need to budget a whole lot of time here

There were only a few really unique shops, like this doll place

Where you can buy a stuffed animal and actually accessorize it's outfit

Crazy stuff I know

Adriana loved this booth with fashionable drawing of a girl living in New York

No surprise

My favorite stop was this art pop up with New York City prints

Starting at $48.00

Did I mention that these markets aren't the cheapest places to shop

But if you're going to spend you might as well support small local places

The one thing I didn't like about Grand Central

Was the lack of food or drink vendors

But that's easily solvable

Just head downstairs to one of my favorite food courts in all of New York City

And get some shake shack

If you're going to visiting Central Park anyway

You owe it to yourself to check this market out

This is more of your typical Big Apple Holiday Market

Although not the biggest by any means

The location next to Central Park made me feel..

Like I was in the middle of some European Village for a moment

There's food vendors in the middle

And that was by far the highlight for me

We feasted on $6 Arepa's De Choclo

Not at all what I was expecting to find here but..

To their credit, well worth the price

Sample some apple cider

I don't even know how that dog got in this video but hit that like button if you think he's cute

Insider Tip

Visit the free hot chocolate stand in the middle

And you even get a little sugar cookie on the house

Outside of the food stalls in the middle

Check out the spic shop

and grab some sausage samples from Charlito's Cocina

This market's all about it's excellent location next to Central Park

So pair them together for maximum effect

Not only is Union Square an amazing landmark But it also has

A really cool market

Okay folks now we're getting to some of the bigger places on the list

This reminded me a lot of Columbus Circle

Because they're both run by the same company

There were some absolute gems in here

As far as food and drink was concerned

The 4 dollar Venezuelan Hot Chocolate was incredible

As in some of the best I've ever had period

They had other interesting vendors as well

Like an outpost for Veselka Ukranian Peorigi's

And even a brick oven pizza spot

What stood out to us about Union Square was some of the Unique Art Shops

Team Adriana bought a 3 dollar sticker from Annie Draws Stuff

I think those pugs eyes were moving but i'm not sure

Say hi to the vendor at Slapz Photography

The guys got talent

And it's all his own work

There's nothing better than supporting a local artist

Oh one more unique thing about this place

The N,Q,R,W subway exits

LIterally runs inside the market

A pretty cool way to start your shopping experience I must say

This Holiday Market is the only one we're covering in Brooklyn

Right next to the Brooklyn Museum

And trust me.. it's worth a trip

Calling all viewers with Children

This is your top choice

Because not only does it have a pretty neat market

But it also has.. extra activities

Like an enchanted Tree Maze

And even pictures with Santa

Well if you can find him

For my adult single viewers

I didn't forget about you

This market still rocks

Because it's actually got some of the cheaper item's I've seen

Like those ornament's

By the way, no bears were actually harmed in the making of those gloves

While the gifts were cheaper

The food and drink was just as pricey as their sister markets in Manhattan

5 dollars for a taco

Que Loco

10 dollars for beer

Still there was something really cozy about this place

From the Kettle Corn to the enclosed wine bar

If you're anywhere near Prospect Park in Brooklyn

You need to stop by Winterfest

Number one

The Bryant Park Winter Village

Of all the holiday markets on the list

Bryant Park is the one

You can spend the most time at

Even make an evening out of

For one there's the ice skating rink

Which is free to use

But you probably forgot your skates at home

It's 20 dollars for a rental

For another..

This market has by far the most stores

And they carry all sorts of random goodness

I loved the shop that was selling framed photos From 1980s subway rides

The best cheap gift I found was a 1 dollar post card from the Strand Bookstore

Pop up

Team Adriana was a fan of the German Apple Cider

But at 6 dollars that German love ain't coming cheap

This was the only market with an enclosed food court

Perfect for any temperature

They even have a beer garden outside

Seriously this spot has something for everybody

And if you visit

You must, I repeat must have some cookie dough

From Dough

This joint used to have very long lines when it first opened in the village

It's the best cookie dough I've ever tasted

But there's more than enough food and drink options

To keep you occupied

For a couple of hours here

If you only have time for one market

Make it this one

Make sure to tell me in the comments which one was your favorite?

I'm putting all the information down below in the description

About their locations and their hours

Make sure to subscribe if you're new to this channel

For a lot of fun videos from New York City and beyond

Thank you so much for watching

Until next time

War Zone • S01E20 • TPN's Angel Guide - Duration: 10:32.

War Zone is another episode that is more fun to analyze than it is to watch.

The episode introduces us to Charles Gunn and company, who we spend most of the story

with and, as with any plot that tries to get us to care about a completely new set of characters

rather than the ones we've already formed a deep emotional bond with, the results are

somewhat on the 'meh' side.

As charismatic as J August Richards is (and he is) Gunn and company are tropes we've

seen a hundred times before and what might've been a solid emotional payoff gets undercut

by some dodgy dentals.

BUT, on closer examination I think there might be something very interesting going on with

this episodes structure, and with Gunn himself.

We open on a young woman walking a dark alley at night being followed by a pack of Silverchair

vampires.

The lead grunge rock-pire turns and, for a moment, we think it's Angel what with the

dark clothing and the first few notes of his theme.

But instead we meet, Charles Gunn."

The woman is Gunn's sister and the two of them lead a gang who defend the streets from

the midnight nasties.

The vamps in the alley get the best of Gunn's crew who I'll dub the Lost Boys and, the

gang returns to Neverland to attend to their wounded.

On the other end of the spectrum, Angel and company are attending a party of billionaire

David Nabbit, who is having some unfortunate blackmail issues having gone to a demon brothel.

Angel tracks the blackmailer from the brothel to an alleyway.

The Lost Boys see him coming and save the blackmailer from Angel.

Angel accidentally flees into Neverland and saves Gunn's sister from a booby trap.

Enough of a gesture that Gunn lets him go.

The vampires from the opening scenes are having a meeting about the Lost Boys and decide to

attack.

They take Gunn's sister in what is a genuinely harrowing scene.

The shots of Alannah being murdered through the ugly van window and Charles' expression

after, really bring the consequences of this life home.

It all lands in a disturbing fashion.

Angel returns to Neverland to try and offer his services.

28:40 "Unless of course, death is what you're after.

And then you're on your own."

- "I'm always on my own."

Angel gets locked up.

Gunn kills his vampire sister.

A pretty good emotional beat is interrupted by some enormous lisp-inducing vampire chiclets.

I thought they'd figured-out the lispy vampire-dialogue problem after Darla died with marbles in her

mouth.

Apparently not.

And the episode ends with Angel and Gunn striking a pact of mutual support.

Warzone is a strange episode..

The only writing credit went to Garry Campbell, his lone Buffyverse script, whose other resume

entries include The Kids in the Hall, The Jamie Kennedy Experiment, and MadTV.

With those sorts of entries is it odd that War Zone feels so…dry?

It's another very transitional episode away from the episodic film noir vampire detective

concept the show started with.

Season 1 has been nothing but an experiment really as the writer's tried to find their

voice but clearly they were leaning towards a more serial style show going into season

2, which by necessity would've meant building out the cast.

Thematically David Nabbit is setup in stark contrast to Gunn's world.

The opening cuts back and forth between them are intended is direct commentary.

Gunn's is a violent and transitory world, one with no expectation of long life.

It's also much more ethnically diverse.

Nabbit is isolated by money and class.

"I like to smell a little money every once in awhile."

The episode is mostly the introduction of Charles Gunn and there are a few structurally

interesting elements to it.

Throughout, the Rube Goldberg-ian style of his gang, with their improvised stake cannons

and traps, kept making me think of Peter Pan and the Lost Boys.

Like Peter's lost boys, Gunn's gang of misfits have no expectation of ever growing

older.

And they too have a Wendy who is eventually captured by the pirates, before returning

to London to eventually grow old and die.

Though Angel's speech at the end inadvertently relegates Gunn to the role of Ruffio rather

than Pan.

Whatever racial commentary the episode is making through the Pan analog gets especially

interesting when you consider that in the original 1953 version of Peter Pan, The Lost

Boys were all white, and some of the movies portrayals of ethnicity have...uhh...not aged

particularly well.

The vampire gang may also have been designed to be racially evocative.

Their leader is white with a shaved head and their daylight gas mask outfits feel vaguely

reminiscent of the Nazi SS.

The problem is, the episode doesn't really have anything new to say about ethnicity and

economic stratification in the United States, but rather uses those ideas as the backdrop

for the introduction of these two characters.

And like Hero's goose stepping racial purity demons, these themes are so top-shelf that

without any kind of payoff to their use, I found them a distraction from the emotional

story that was going on.

Nabbit is the less interesting of the two, though his presence does give Cordy a nice

moment where she comes to realize how far she's progressed from the beginning of the

season.

Nabbit represents for Cordelia a simple and straightforward return to the life she thought

she was going to have before she left Sunnydale.

Though it might have involved a bit of moral compromise to do so, Nabbit is a good hearted

man and without a doubt, Cordy could have run the show with him.

"Feels good in your mouth."

Can you imagine episode one Cordy turning down the opportunity to gold dig the kind,

safe, and inoffensive Nabbit?

David and Gunn's presences both feel like waters being tested.

David as the rich and well-to-do character might've given us more insight into Cordy

and provided Angel Investigations the financial backing for the writer's to put the team

in as many financially unlikely situations as they wanted.

Gunn's character offered an outsider's perspective to Angel's world (in contrast

to Wesley and Cordelia) devoid of privilege or pretense.

Of course that is all a part of the well-worn trope his character is from: The impoverished

African American male from an inner city who has resorted to a life outside the law to

find some kind of justice, and has no expectations for a long life.

Gunn: "Everyone dies."

But it's of value to distinguish between a trope, a cliche, and a stereotype.

Tropes are simply patterns that are familiar to us in media.

Frequently used plots, characters, or devices that we recognize.

What matters is what the story does with them.

For instance, Cordelia began Buffy as the bog-standard mean girl trope.

Four years later she might be one of the most complex characters in the Buffyverse.

401

I think, for that reason, in order to consider Gunn and his arc in the series it's important

to not simply dismiss his early appearances as tone-deaf or cliche.

Appreciating an arc means taking both ends of it into account, but that also means that

we're going to have to talk about things that never make anyone uncomfortable, things

that Gunn unambiguously mentions in this episode.

Gunn: "I don't need advice from some middle-class white dude, that's dead!"

Race and class.

For being so progressive in regards to issues of gender and sexuality, neither Buffy nor

Angel's shows have had much to say on the topic of race, save for Mr. Trick's observation

early on:

(Faith, Hope, and Trick) You know, strictly the Caucasian persuasion here in the Dale.

It's a cute and self-aware observation by the writers that is quickly swept aside and

maybe a little overshadowed by his witheringly cringey final line

"I hear once you go Slayer you never want to go back."

But in short, to this point any non-white actor has been relegated to a minor supporting

role, and many of those suffer a quick death.

Representation across media is important for many reasons not simply for the sake of reflecting

the world we live in.

In their essay 'The Individual, the Institutional, and the Unintentional,' cited in the description,

Mary Iatropoulos and Lowery Woodall suggest that studies show popular culture's centralization

of whiteness effectively limits the scope of perception of what exists and what is possible

- not just on screen, but in the viewer's mind as well.

In other words, a portrayal of a same sex relationship as healthy and normal in a show

also normalizes those kinds of relationships for people who consume media.

And a lack of diversity across media normalizes whiteness and pushes other ethnicities to

the status of...well…'other.'

And that phenomena is actually an aspect of Gunn's arc that we'll get into.

This will be an unfolding conversation but I want to say a few general things here as

framing.

First of all, the trope that Gunn's character is cut from feels stale because of its overuse

in media, but that also doesn't make it irrelevant.

Second, while I'm going to be looking for what's interesting about his arc because...well

that's kind of what we do here, that is not to say it is never mishandled or free

of stereotypes and cliche.

Just as some of Buffy's feminism feels dated today.

There is plenty to cringe at.

But, as someone who was the sweet-spot age when Friend's was airing, and laughed while

completely oblivious to the potential harm of Chandler's transphobia, I'll just point

out that the root of the word Progressivism, is progress.

And progress is by definition, measured over time.

Also I know we're a very international audience and issues of race and class vary from country

to country.

Our discussion will be specifically focused on those issues as they pertain to the States

and inform Gunn's character.

Finally, in case you hadn't realized it by this point: I am not a sociologist nor

an academic.

I do a lot of reading and research with these essays but mistakes will come.

To this point I have had the grand privilege of not having to wade into these conversations,

but they are an aspect of Gunn's journey, and it's a commitment of mine with the guides

to do every character justice.

But, as much as there may be a few missed opportunities here, War Zone is an adequate

and entertaining episode.

J August Richards feels like a fun and charismatic addition to the cast and it's nice to see

that our core has already developed to a point where they can reflect and feel differences

within themselves.

Still, the wonderful 5by5 gave us a demonstration of what a complex and intricate antagonist

could do for the show.

Wonder if there is a direction they could go with that?

2018 Gift Guide Part One: Bookish Gifts - Duration: 9:08.

Hi everyone. Happy Monday. Wallace here with your Monday video. Today is gonna be

part 1 of my gift guide. This is the non-books part. So we're not gonna be

giving you book titles to give to people or to ask for. This is like bookish

goodies. So first of all, know that there is a column on book riot called book

fetish. And that is where you can find like all the bookish stuff that you ever,

ever wanted and that you never even knew you wanted. um So I will link to that

column down below. You will go down a wormhole so have a little bit of time

ready if you go to check it out. Also I recently got the out of print catalog

that they sent out this year. um I don't know exactly who gets this and I don't

know if it to like you had to order something from them this year. I know a

lot of people in my area in LA got it. So I don't know what they're also just

testing certain markets for it. But it was so much fun. I mean, all of this is

available online, too. It was just fun to like look through and pick out some

things and like circle them that I really liked. So I'm gonna go ahead

and show you some of my favorites of these and then I'm gonna show you one of

my very favorite Etsy candle lines that has like, you know, it's like all bookish

candles, which is really fun. But also be sure to check out book riot's shop

because there's a lot of goodies in the book riot shop that are all bookish

and so much fun and probably stuff that you've seen some of your favorite book

riot contributors or staff members wearing and really liked it. Or seen fans

a book riot wearing and really liked it. So I will also link to that down below.

So they have all of your regular like Harry Potter stuff, like everybody's got

Harry Potter stuff. So that's not hard to find. The Harry Potter Alliance is also a

really good place to find Harry Potter stuff cause they support good causes. I can

link to them below as well. Here's one Harry Potter thing. I'm not gonna show

you a ton but I actually happen to have these socks and I love them and I

actually wore them today. They have the Matilda sweatshirt, which I love, love,

love. It's a nice like light pink color and Matilda is a favorite character of

mine from childhood and even now. I happen to be particularly in love with

the rainbow socks, the rainbow catalog socks. Most of you are familiar with

their t-shirts. They have like a variety of, you know, bookish t-shirts and

sweatshirts that have the covers of books on them. And we actually have a

curated selection on the book riot shop. So if you want to see the ones that that

book riot has picked out as favorites, they're all they are in the book riot

shop. They also have all of you know fun bookish mugs.

By the way Etsy also has a ton of really great bookish mugs. So like type in your

favorite title, type in your favorite quote, whatever, and you're bound to find

some type of mug or pillow or something that has it on it. They have some cool

scarves and I happen to be particularly into this one, which is the library stamp.

But I mean it which is kind of fun because you know the library stamp is

there but you can also just wear it pretty regularly if you can see it.

You can't even tell exactly what the print is on it. So even if you had to

dress up or something, it just looks like you're wearing like a block printed

scarf and only you know that it's actually library stamps in there. So I

kind of love that too. And the yellow one is kind of similar. The yellow one up

here. You know, it looks like it's just like a striped scarf but really it's

library, library card. So anyway, they have, I mean, they have others too and they're

all fun. But those two are particularly ones that you could just kind of get

away with it if you aren't really somewhere where bookish flair would be the dress

code. They came out with some swell bottles which are great, great for

giving as gifts, reusable bottles. Another great place to get bookish water

bottles is Powell's from Portland. But you can go on their website. The Strand

might actually have some, too. But I have one been particular from Powell's

that I love. And it has, like as you fill it up like you have different

authors that you're filling the water up to. So it's just a fun way to make sure

everybody's getting you know their water for the day. Or if you have it on your

desk, it's just something fun to look at. So that's Powell's book store up in

Portland. They have a website and you can look up their water bottles as well.

Obviously anything to do with cats I'm gonna love. So these are bookstore cat

stuff. Like there's like, they have a pin. They have a

tote. They have a t-shirt. I'm loving their book nerd line. Sorry I don't know

if you can see that very well. I actually particularly love these socks and I

think I want the socks that say book nerd on the bottom and have the books

along the top up here, um, because I think it's fun when things say things at the

bottom of your socks and you didn't like realize they're there until you put your

feet up. Also as far as socks go, I love these Sherlock Holmes socks. First

of all I love the colors. Brown happens to be a favorite color and I'm like a

neutral person. But they're little Sherlock Holmes heads. I don't know if you can see

that with his pipe. um And I love it because I feel like from far away you

can't quite tell what those are and they just look like dress socks and then you

get closer and you see that there's Sherlock Holmes. A lot of their

socks are really cute but you can like tell that there's like pink with typewriters

and stuff. So you have to be like in a setting that that's okay with. um

So these ones in particular just felt like they could look like dress-up socks kind

of under something and then you get closer and see what they are. And I love

that that idea for those of us who like to incorporate some bookish

things to make us like smile throughout the day um but don't want to like wear

head to toe bookish gear. Which who doesn't? But sometimes it's not

appropriate. Okay my next one that I'm going to show you, this is my favorite

Etsy line of candles. I've tried a few, um, as far as like bookish candles go.

This one is called Frost Beard studio and I will again link it down below.

Frost Beard Studio. These are soy candles. I know some people don't like soy.

Everybody's particular about what they like. These are soy candles. They have

such a good variety of different types of like scents. And they're really, really

cute packaging. So this is one of their bigger candles. This one is

7.7 ounces and it says burn time is 40 plus hours. And they really do burn

nicely. I've only burn this one a little bit. But I burned it for a while

but only went down that far. It's really nice. I got this one as a gift from a

friend. It smells so good. It's old, this one's

called old books and it's aged — the scents are aged paper and dusty shelves,

which I love it. It says it right there so that like you don't have to go look

at back up on the website, which is kind of fun. And then these are two I got a

little like trio when I first tried them out.

I thought trio and Sassenach was the other one from Outlander. I just didn't bring

it over here with me because I only have two hands. um And also these are the two

that I burned more. This one is rainy day reads. Can you see that? And it has

fresh rain, ginger, and lavender. So this is like the travel size tin. So this

one's 3.9 ounces and it burns for 20-hour burn time. So it's

basically like half the size of the other one that I showed you. And they say

it's vegan. So if that is important to you, these are vegan. And this one is

reading at the cafe and so this one is like by far my favorite .I need to get a

really big one of this because I like burned in a bunch and then I got to the

end and then started slowing down because I didn't want to use it up

because it's coffee and chocolate pastry. It is so good, you guys. It's not too

sweet. The coffee like makes that so it's not too sweet and like sickly

smelling. It's just, like, it does smell like a cafe. It's great. And so this is

also the travel size version. And then along, this is a different candle company

from etsy that I also really like but I've only tried one candle. So I can't

speak to the entire line. But I really like this one and this one's so yummy.

This one is called from the page. So I'll put it, I'll show you from the page is

the — is it in focus? — is the brand. And this one is called afternoon tea and it's

Earl Grey tea and hints of fruit. But you can also get like more bookish candles

than this. This is just, I mean, tea makes me think of reading also. So this is the one

that I chose to get. um But I lost the top but it's just like a regular screw

on top. It's really similar to this one. But I can't more what color it is.

So these are my two favorite candle lines. I'd say Frost beard I have more from but

from the page is also really cute. And as you can see the packaging is really nice

as well. So really fun little gifts. And they're

not too expensive. um So there are good gifts and you can send them like

straight from etsy to the people that you want to send them to so you don't

have to have them sent to you and then resend. It's eco-friendly and it's an

alternative for those of you who are like anti Amazon. um But also kind of

personalized fun bookish gifts. If you have more non-book bookish gifts that

you have ideas for that you're doing, you can put them down in the comments

and get people good ideas. I will be back next week with my book recommendations.

Until then, happy reading.
