Diagnostic Test in GMAT Official Guide! Get the most out of it! - Duration: 4:34.If you are planning to write the GMAT,
you know that studying the GMAT Official Guide books
is essential to the successful GMAT study.
However,
I am often amazed by how
many people skip the diagnostic test section
in this book!
In this video,
I will explain the importance of
doing the diagnostic test
right in the beginning of the GMAT study plan.
Also, I will give some guidelines
how to get the most out of it.
By solving these diagnostic test problems,
you will,
one,
understand the structures and contents of the GMAT,
two, be able to get the most out of
practice exams offered by the GMAC,
by not wasting it,
and three,
be able to set up your own study plan.
There are total
100 questions in the diagnostic test,
48 quant questions
and 52 verbal questions.
In quant, there are 24 problem solving questions,
and another 24 data sufficiency questions.
In verbal, there are 17 reading comprehension,
17 critical reasoning,
and 18 sentence correction questions.
So we have nice 5 sections
divided in the diagnostic test.
What you can do is, you can tackle one section per day.
It will take about 2 hours per section,
if you solve a question in about 5 minutes on average.
On the first week of your GMAT study,
do these diagnostic test on weekdays,
and commit 2 hours every day!
And then during the first week's weekend,
review your result.
Which questions did you do well
and have confidence that
you can do well again the next time?
Which questions did you make mistakes?
Which topics did you think you need more study time?
So the timeline for the first week of your GMAT study
will look like the following.
Monday Problem Solving,
Tuesday Data Sufficiency,
Wednesday Reading Comprehension,
Thursday Critical Reasoning,
Friday Sentence Correction,
and on Saturday,
review all diagnostic tests that you got wrong.
To help you better understand the topics
outlined for the diagnostic test problems,
I organized the problems
with topics and difficulty levels.
There's also an error log PDF file
for the diagnostic test available for download.
Check the link below in the description.
Now, not all topics are covered in the diagnostic test.
For example, there are no questions on
even or odd numbers, absolute values,
quadratic equations, functions, or rectangular solids.
So take note of these topics and make sure
you cover every GMAT topic.
Also, you might notice that
one single topic appears frequently
in the diagnostic test.
That's the descriptive statistics!
Out of 48 quant questions,
7 questions are related to the descriptive statistics.
That's 14.5% coverage, which is a lot!
Your ability to translate and read
basic statistics is a must in the business world,
so the GMAT focuses on this topic.
If you are in a hurry and need to take the GMAT soon,
I would say study the descriptive statistics first.
So how do you write your study plan
after taking the diagnostic test?
Take note of easy questions that you got wrong.
These are the basic foundational knowledge
that you need to review.
No mistakes should be allowed in the GMAT.
If you keep making mistakes,
your score will never go beyond 600 level.
Therefore,
it's important to be careful and prudential
when it comes to solving problems.
Moderate level questions are
typical GMAT questions that are in the range of
550 to 650 score levels.
If you are confident with moderate level questions,
it means you are well prepared for that topic.
Hard level questions are the ones
that go beyond 650 score level.
If you are aiming for 700+,
studying these questions is a must.
Also consider the structure aspect of the GMAT.
How did you find yourself
for the data sufficiency type questions?
What about critical reasoning?
Take note of it, and make sure
you become familiar with these formats.
In sum,
take note of easy questions that you got wrong
and review the topics
until you are confident with these topics.
Practice moderate level questions and master them.
Don't focus on hard level questions
until you are comfortable with the topics.
I've already covered the steps you can take
for successful GMAT study.
If you want to check it out,
I will put a link to a video about
6 successful GMAT study steps on the YouTube card
and in the description below.
Good luck with studying,
and if you have any questions,

Roblox studio tutorial basics-beginners guide-How to get started with Roblox studio tutorial 2018 - Duration: 5:29.hello welcome to another roblox studio
video today I'm going to be showing you
how you can customize a block apart or wherever you like to call it in wave
locks to do now without further ado let's begin now the first thing you want
to do is you want to select the shape of your part so you can you have a spear a
wedge a slim down or block the most commonly used Wiley's a block so I'm
going to use a block for this video because that's the one that most people
will use once you get the block as soon as this now of course we don't want to
block as small as this and this maybe you're doing something very small and
that's all you need but most of the time you're gonna need a block a slightly
bigger than that so what you do is you go to the top of the screen see where it
says scale few clicks Cal some little dots will come up on the each side of
the block if you moved them that will stretch it
to the size that you want so if you were making a sign for a girl all you'd want
some people this size now of course what they if you want to change the color now
to change the color it's simple quite simple you've got the car fit here
it's ready to go you can show the material to wood or plastic where you
change it to but how Ivy must remember that you must have this selected so you
must click it before you change the color otherwise that nothing wire so
once you've done that you should have that cubby place and that is your block
so once you've got the design of your block you may want to add we may want to
move it or you may want to rotate it so we're gonna do is you would drag it you
could R that will rotate it goodbye your keyboard and then just rotate it but of
course you can do it here as well so if you weren't coming at the store that you
can rotate it it's quite hard on here but yeah you can
rotate it there as well but I think it's a lot easier to just use the thing on
the keyboard now once you rotate it to where you want it
you may want it to be in the air now this is very important because we're a
block studio has a special feature there has to be switched on for this to work
now first of all you will click a move and you'll to drag it but it will our
corner up to where you want it now thing is if I press play there I'll let me
just show you what happens when it loads you will find only I actually do is it
will just fall to the floor now the issue we've got there he said we will
expediate there we must make sure we click stop a gunny to get out of this
and if you click here over here you look Annika and then press play what
will happen is the block will stay in the air this is a very important thing
to do especially if you're making obvious and why for the person store for
going that anything she's gonna fall to the floor like so this time is in the
air also who don't want a blocks we move to where then you should anchor it as
well so it's a good practice to remember set and K your blocks now just show you
the spear very similar thing it's Pierce if you're going if you're making an RB
you may want to be yeah and Kurt all say carpet TV all the similar things select
whatever you want to select a block you must always select bit and then move it
will disappear if you want to customize the base plate really realize it's how
this is done look at the explore tab if you cannot see the explore tab what you
need to do is cook view I didn't explore here video here and if you click by
spiked until selected blue and then if you click here the color will change so
you can change it to whatever color you wish you can change itself you can chose
the material the grass if you're making a sawed off grass oh not for boobs grass
then if you could choice of colors agreed then you have some glass but of
course you can change the different columns are good so whatever color you
think looks best for grass can change the properties of the base
plate as well so so you can change the surface so you can chose the back
surface to smooth or whatever you want it to be and then you can change the
flood to smooth sever say it's smooth smooth not know normally or you can just
customize it to be want it now that's the basics of were locks Juvia okay and
if you want to wean that you know something eventually it's gonna be very
hard to me ostrich blocks which don't you select a block you'll be highlighted
in what we call the exporter so she can put there a little text box arriving on
click backspace or control ie the backspace that will select all the text
and in click backspace you may want to create a title for it so I'm just gonna
call this the book you know so now this part has we're up to 32 weeks now or 32
X block so that is basics of roblox to do if you want to see more roblox to do
videos make sure you like this video and subscribe and share thank you very much

✅ Breaking News - Chris Wood and Dwight McNeil guide the Clarets to victory - Duration: 4:55.Perhaps West Ham fans would tell you they saw this coming. If anyone else does, they are telling fibs
Only long-suffering Hammers supporters, wary of false dawns, may have expected what transpired at a delighted Turf Moor
The visitors, with five wins from six, were outfought, outplayed and at times outclassed by a Burnley side that were in apparent freefall
Maybe it was the return of Clarets' club captain Tom Heaton, who replaced Joe Hart in goal and performed superbly, or maybe it was the overconfidence a good run can bring
For whatever reason, Manuel Pellegrini's men – who could have gone seventh with victory - were brought to earth with a solid bump
First half goals from Chris Wood and Dwight McNeil were enough, but this could have been five or six
Dyche made five changes for the fixture, the most notable of which being the dropping of Hart
The former England man has struggled of late and shipped five last time out against Everton
Burnley have already conceded more goals than they did in the whole of last season and while it would be harsh to single out the ex-Manchester City stopper, there was a growing sense that the patient Heaton's time had come after a 476-day absence
He played like he had never been away. Early on, the TV cameras focussed in on Hart, sat on the Burnley bench
He had the face of a punter who has just been told it will cost a fiver to get in his local on New Year's Eve
There was a warning of what was to come in the first minute when Ashley Barnes – six yards out – sidefooted the impressive McNeil's low cross wide
Heaton saw his first work not long after, when Angelo Ogbonna rose to head Robert Snodgrass's corner right at him
His second action kickstarted the move which led to Burnley's opener, when he advanced from his line to calmly head a Felipe Anderson through ball to Ashley Westwood
Moments later, after a neat exchange between Jack Cork and McNeil, an overlapping Westwood crossed for Ashley Barnes to nod down with Wood on hand to emphatically volley past Lukasz Fabianski at his near post
On 34 minutes it was two. West Ham's ability to deal with crosses was always going to be tested here and while questions had to be asked of their defence, Fabianski appeared to take on hologram-like qualities when trying to deal with a sliding McNeil's far post shot from another Westwood centre
Seconds later it should have been three, when Barnes beat the offside trap to pull back for McNeil who shot wide from close range with the goal at his mercy
It was a stunning miss and on a par with Wood's to open the second half, when the former Leeds striker totally missed another Barnes centre from close range
Pellegrini brought on Andy Carroll at half-time, presumably in an attempt to beat Burnley at their own game
But the hosts continued to press, with Fabianski making amends when he pulled off a fine one-handed save to deny Barnes at point-blank range
Moments later, Wood was at it again. Set clear by a Barnes through ball, he shot past a Fabianski advancing in hope rather than expectation, but wide of the post
West Ham offered little until late on. A Carroll shot into the arms of Burnley's keeper led to more chants of 'Heaton, Heaton' while Anderson, with seven goals from his nine, was anonymous bar a long-range strike over the bar
Young Portuguese midfielder Xande Silva came off the bench for his first taste of Hammers action and saw his shot deflected narrowly over the bar
Carroll was then denied by a brilliant Heaton save when the Burnley man somehow contorted his body to tip the striker's goalbound header onto the bar
It prompted an ovation from the delighted home supporters – one which was repeated minutes later at the final whistle

Trent Boult and Neil Wagner guide New Zealand to a 1-0 series win - Duration: 5:04.Trent Boult and Neil Wagner quickly wrapped up Sri Lanka's second innings on Sunday as New Zealand clinched the series 1-0 with a dominant 423-run victory in the second test at Hagley Oval in Christchurch
Boult trapped Dushmantha Chameera in front after only 10 minutes of play on the fifth day, and while the batsman asked for a review third umpire Rod Tucker confirmed the onfield decision two minutes later to bring the match to an end
With the first match in Wellington ending in a damp draw, Sunday's victory saw the hosts win a fourth successive test series for the first time
'A fantastic achievement,' said New Zealand captain Kane Williamson.'It's exciting, the four series, even if I wasn't aware of it
'But it's a proud achievement because we are playing in different conditions and having to adjust our games
' The victory was even more impressive given New Zealand had been reduced to 64 for six on the first day, before Tim Southee produced a counter-attacking innings of 68 that pushed their total through to 178
Southee then blasted the top off Sri Lanka's reply, reducing them to 21 for three
The performance on the first day earned him man-of-the match honours.'It was nice to get some runs,' Southee said
'We needed to post some sort of score and try and hang in there .for as long as we could
'I guess 170 in the first innings was a good score on that wicket.' Boult followed up Southee's cameo with a stunning burst of six wickets in 15 deliveries early on the second day, which swung the game in their favour as they took a 74-run lead
New Zealand's batsmen all got starts in their second innings with Tom Latham (176) and Henry Nicholls (162 not out) notching their first centuries on their home ground as Williamson declared at 585 for four
'A couple of brilliant contributions from those two local boys,' Williamson said of Latham and Nicholls
'We required big runs and .they went and put us in a really strong position.' Sri Lanka put up a stronger second innings performance as they sought to either grind out an improbable 660 runs for victory, or bat for more than two days to save the game
Their resistance was broken late on the fourth day. After they had battled through to 231 for six at stumps the tourists faced the prospect of having their top batsman Angelo Mathews not appearing again after he retired hurt with a hamstring injury
Boult wasted little time on Sunday in the overcast conditions as he bowled Suranga Lakmal for 18 on the third ball, before Wagner had Dilruwan Perera caught for 22 on the eighth
Boult then wrapped up the innings at 236 for nine with Mathews unable to bat.'Disappointed with the way we batted in the first innings but I'm happy with the way we played in the second innings as we fought hard as a team,' said Sri Lanka captain Dinseh Chandimal
'We are a young team, but if we can show the same character as Kusal Mendis and Angelo Mathews then we should be able to compete
