Vikings: War of Clans starters guide - Duration: 31:06.

hey guys what's up I'm gonna be showing you this new game I've been playing

recently called Viking's war of clans now I started playing it on my mobile

phone and unfortunately since the screen is a bit smaller I decided to search for

it on the Internet the first thing that popped up was a facebook game room so I

started playing it on the Facebook game room I got really far and invested a lot

into it and then I decided to search for the website Plarium website and

it turns out that they have their own launcher so I downloaded that and I

connected my Facebook and my Google just like I have on my main account my main

Vikings account is connected to Facebook and Google and I went to start it up on

here and it wants me to start a new account and I tried to write support

I've gotten a nothing back I went to the the forums I wrote about it and I've

seen people complaining that you can't link the two so I don't really think

that's fair so I'm starting over

we got a lot of gold spammers in the chat but um I decided to just go ahead

and do a quick little video I'm going to turn down the game volume again

okay so this is basically the tutorial and we're just gonna go through it real

quick so you can see what the game is about. Jarl your warriors await your

orders the time has come to show who is worthy

of being the lord of northern lands their fate is in your hands your

warriors will fight much better if they have enough food build a farm with the

supplies so um basically starting off our farm and as you can see there's a

couple of little choices here they wants to do a farm and you're gonna find out

once you start playing this that you're going to need a lot of farms to feed your

warriors if you're gonna have a huge army then you're gonna need a lot of

farms okay so they do have a quest section and it's right here and they

want you to go through all these and do them one by one as you get them done you

are able to claim the reward which is basically like resources and experience

you can see the resources are right up here

so this is gonna be the really super boring part I'm trying to just speed

past this real quick they want us to build one of everything just to get it

started anything under five minutes you can always speed up for free otherwise

you'll have to get buffs our earn buffs the time timing buffs to actually get

past that I'm gonna block these gold spammers here they are horrible and there's no way to really

report them they just spam

okay so the right side of your town will be um basically all the resources that

you're gonna earn for building everything for you're

buildings and warriors and that's all on the right

side is basically everything all the resources you're gonna need so the barrr

barracks let's say uh I think is the other side now is right up here okay so

here's where we can build that and this is where your warriors are going to

Train and you can train so many at the same time once you get upgrading the

higher level it is the more worriers you could train

so right now this is all we have we just have the tier one Warriors so we're going

to start with the mercenaries

as I've learned in this game that I just made us use a one minute thing to boost

up the timing but anyways up just work on tier one where is at first because if

you start doing two and threes and fours and when you go out to attack people or

they attack you you're gonna lose tons you're going to

lose so much that it's gonna actually make you very angry so just start with

Tier one Warriors hundreds of thousands of them if possible and boost all their

skills up in the knowledge section which I will show you in the minute okay so

now basically we just hit the world map or just the middle down here and it's

taking us to the yeah well I believe this is just the starters areas we'll

find out what Kingdom were in a minute and moved to my main Kingdom you only

have three days to move to the kingdom you want and when you start playing the

game so I believe my kingdoms called Stampbberg I'll have to take a look so this is

like a resource area right here it's a level one tile it goes all the way

up to level six tiles the higher tiles the faster you can gather your resources

from and like I said resources you'll need tons of them to build your town up

and your warriors

okay so now basically it's just gonna let us take over and do it we want to do.

get my mail oh and um after you attack something or gather resources or

somebody attacks you it's always gonna be in your mail so if you over to the

reports click it you'll see exactly what you gathered or if you lost any of your

army and we just basically got 80 food here so not much but it's just something to

start off with

so now we can pick our picture that we want all the players to see which isn't

a great amount of things here so we'll leave it with her

and you could change your name if you want to otherwise and I think it names

you something I think it names you whatever not really sure since I already

have a Plarium account umm it linked to my account I wish it would have link to my facebook

game room account because I have like level 49 hero with tons of resources and

a clan and unfortunately it won't oh ha ha ha it's taken by me yeah ok

stars night uh

so weird it won't let me do it

okay so for some odd reason it's not letting me type absolutely nothing which

is weird huh okay so how I got past that okay

whatever says it was taken by somebody else but

okay so this is the VIP which allows you to build fasters it gives you certain

benefits as well and here is the crown that shows you the VIP on the top you

can see what the benefits of being a VIP it does free boosts of the action

so anything under six minutes you can free click free and it hurry up

builds it food production Four percent as you can see lumber stone iron silver

all getting four percent extra additional premium tasks to talk about

in a minute the VIP icon so the premium tasks or are right here and basically

you get personal tasks and if you're not in a clan you're not going to get any

clan tasks but the premium tasks are ugh give you a lot of things and if you

click on them you'll see the heroes experience shamen experience you'll get a

exlire and some resources so we can start that you cannot boost these for

free unfortunately the premium ones you'll always have to wait the clan ones

eventually as you get higher level you could just push on them and it will all

just automatically go but right now since we are on a new account we have to

actually wait for these to go so we'll start the this one a rare one cuz you

get more for the rare ones then you would the silver one

and this is our chest we get every so often 140k food and check your

mail claim so if you don't know what to do you can always just come right over

here and it will tell you the quests and it wants me to build a forage so we'll

just start constructing that real quick

now this side on the left side is where all of the basically things you're gonna

need for your warriors and constructions Forge so they'll forge real quick

speed it up right here we'll build um I can't recall if I have a manor but was

just do it anyway and then we'll do the infirmary so I already have that

and a workshop is for the jewels which will eventually we'll get to don't worry

about it right now can't do it there so we'll do it here the

workshop you can fuse gems and you'll get the gems as you attack creatures and

the other thing so this game is not always about fighting other players or

players fighting you first of all look let's get to my um okay so here we are

in this land right here you can see our coordinates we got a lot of the newer

players here shield it and we're gonna head out to the kingdoms which is right

here

and I'm gonna go ahead and start looking for my kingdom that I started off with

this is a where my friend is right now and we're going to be looking for here it is

Stampbberg so this is our kingdom and if you ever want to come join me or be in

my clan or whatever you only have a few days once you start this game to claim

to go to another Kingdom for free otherwise you have to wait 12 weeks to

change to another server slash Kingdom so heading to stamp burg, Don't pick

any spots right here go south because the south is where the the lower

levels are these are all be the main clans are the place of powers in the

middle of the Millennium forest which is right here

and it has a lot of uber monsters and a lot of high level characters players

people like to build their stronghold around that a stronghold just basically

looks like that okay so

let's go to where my main account is I have a clan my clan is called Starbright

wasn't always mine it was actually passed down to me that was made and two

weeks later the leader decided she you know didn't have time for this game

anymore and she's seen that I was you know caring for the the people inside of

the clan and she took a Vote for whoever wanted to vote to ask who the next

leader should be and they all voted for me so let's just type in my coordinates

cuz I'm pretty sure I know what they are

I could just open up the Facebook game room and find out this is my main count

on the Facebook game room I really wish I could have connected it to the Plarium

Play launcher but unfortunately that's not how it works so this is my

clan the clan is called Star Bright and the tag is [Newly] so it's one three five

seven sixty

so we'll put my little town right down here you get one free one and this is it

so I just use this for now okay a lot we lost connection or I have to restart not

a problem and that happens a lot and it's one of

the main reasons of why switched over to the Plarium play application launcher is

because my facebook game room crashes me constantly and I'm getting really sick

of it so I thought well maybe if I went to their official website and tried

their launcher you know maybe I wouldn't get as you know crashed as much but

unfortunately I can't connect my accounts that drives me mad because I invested so

much in my other account just not fair so um right here is the clan menu and

list of clans you'll see the top one right now is like scars this little

button right here this little thing right here means they have a stronghold

and you can see okay click it you can see everybody all their allies we are

number two we are basically I have staked allies with all the top except

except for these guys well and these guys ha okay so most of them I I got allies

would have allies with these guys

we're a third one down and here we are start bright Newly we're opened clan

you can just join the clan when people join I get a letter and I send out a

letter saying you know who our allies our information and stuff welcoming just

basically welcoming them into the clan we don't have one with darkness rises but

we have one more Phoenix we have one as with Mad Hatter and Scars and you know

Back venom as well we're just basically I have I am allied with the top clans on

this server because this clan is newly the tag is newly and so I don't want

them coming around and picking on my new little players I think they should be

able to come into this game and have fun and learn and you know either they stay

once they get high level or they can you know move on to one of the the more

bigger guilds or clans that have you know actual strategies and stuff right

now mine is just teaching people how to play the game and helping them with

resources it we have a discord so people can chat and type and just you know give

information and opinions and strategies and stuff through there but yeah so this

is my new game and we're gonna actually join my clan

so here we are a star Brite we click an info and it says my the chiefest star

tonight it's me and and here's all of our alliances Viking black matte has had

a Reaper guard Phoenix one and two scars wanted to join and now we are part of

that clan as you can see if they have elders these are my main elders

these names are kind of a little later because they are in another Kingdom

right now we are doing a kingdom first Kingdom war global war and we were

matched up with another Kingdom and we are barely coming in on top here oh no

no no looks like they've taken a lead we won the first phase but it looks like

they're they're doing a good job of keeping up now passing us a little bit

but anyways the against if you scroll down you can see what they want you to

do to earn points so kill tier 1 to tier 1 enemies

two three four five six seven in home or enemy kingdom and then here's the other thing

yield resources at camps and then there is one more aspect of the game that I

haven't mentioned there are creatures called ghosts and invaders so basically

as you're just starting out you're only gonna be able to attack the level one

invaders until you start leveling it up in the knowledge section which is right

here and you can see the now section has a lot too for you to learn I'm I'm like

I probably touched 10% I've been playing like a month and a half but

let's see invader is right here so we're gonna unlock the invader so that we can

hit them upgrade free and now we can attack at least the level one invaders

and then as you can see level two invaders of locks or invaders you just

work your way down some of these are gonna get really expensive like if you

see the cost of things right here if you go to upgrade it they want a silver you

know lumber iron and food and you can see how much you have right here up in

the the left corner it will show you everything or right on top the menu

itself it shows you eventually you are going to get a shaman I think at level

twelve castle or thirteen castle and then you'll start doing these okay

level twelve level twelve Oracle that's not bad once you hit level twelve Oracle

you can come unlock the ghosts and you can start attacking level one ghosts

work your way down for higher levels so we're just gonna go ahead and smack one

of these level ones so you can see what happens I voted for these two the last

couple of days they had the Saracen and the Gascon they're like what do you want

to see on the world map and they have like make dozens of creatures to pick

and I picked these two and they won and I was so happy that both of them won at the same

time because it's really rare we don't see them we always see like serpents and

stuff like that it's just like it's kind of nice to see something different so speaking of

serpent here's one Saracen and we're going to go ahead and if you do a normal

attack you're going to get a bonus of attacking it but if you go and headed to

do an enhance attack you're not gonna get that bonus so much if you kill it

right away she's gonna be killed unless there's like it only hits it so much and

then you come back and you just keep coming back it every time you come back

you'll see the bonus right here go higher and higher up your offense of the

damage that you can you can do to the creature

okay so over here you push the UP button you can see what our tasks of what we're

doing right now we're marching troops it's gonna take down one minute just to

get here

and of course right here marches you click that and it shows you so you can

click the picture and then you can even go to the coordinates and this is my

hero and I will show you that right after we attack this monster will go

back into town and we will go ahead and sort that hero out and get his point

spent

there's so much to this game to learn and I'm not obviously going to be able

to explain it all right here right now and I am gonna be ending this video in a

minute here but we'll just go right after this and look at the hero of stats

and I'll show you how to do that before we at the video if you're in a clan

don't be afraid to ask for resources because the leader usually has billions

and lots of spare or there's just nice players and if you ask people will

actually be like yeah sure and send them then you've got maybe one or

two of them mean people that will be like oh well just do resource farms

well unfortunately when you're doing at a low level on the low lvl tiles it takes

you know 10 20 30 minutes to farm these just to sit there and farm them so

that's not cool like I said the higher level tiles like the 5-6 the they go a

lot faster when you farm them you sent like if you say you see how it says

capture right there they look level for for attacking that guy that's cool and it

gives us two skill points some influence and some gold so influence is basically

just like achievement points so for the game or whatever but anyways you can see

it says it has 500k iron and if you capture it unfortunately I already have

the max number of marches out but if you capture it it will let you send how many

warriors you want to send to it now don't send high level warriors to a

resource because if some player comes around and attacks you while you're on

your resource farm you're gonna lose all those high level warriors it's gonna

cost a lot to revive them so just T1 warriors you know I would send what's a

good number (starting off 1000-5k) I don't know I forgot I have to take a

look let me go look on my main and I'll be able to tell you right away

okay the battle report for attacking that guy shows me I got one three-minute

timer so that's kind of cool and also if I go back down to him you'll see the

bonus right there so I got fifty eight minutes left to

attack him they only give you about an hour but your next attack bonus is going

to give you a 15% and that goes up every time you hit him by one it goes up like

15 25 35 stuff like that so it's better just attack them one by one because in

the end you're spending less right less of right here the energy and if you ever

get too low you have to wait for like an hour to for it to build back up and unless you

hit add and you actually have Hero's energy which can be earned at game

occasionally but mostly bought from the store which is the bank right here if

you scroll down you can see all the $4.99 deals and that's just what they start

you off with otherwise it will work it way up to $9.99 and $19.99 okay so let's go

back to the town real quick and I'll explain the hero so here is our hero on

the other side is the shaman but we won't get that shaman until our Oracle

right here is level 12 so we click on the hero you can see the name of it

that's just what they gave me his name you can name them whatever you want and

the skin

I'd like to pick my favorite one is like I call her the Raven Queen there we go

so unfortunately I only have one hero change appearance so I'm just gonna go ahead do that

but it won't let me type any more maybe if I put it all together Stars night the second

okay and then here's the armor and stuff that we can't craft for it right now don't

worry about it right now since you're a newer player newer levels

don't worry about crafting right now and

it's the hero skills so every time we level up with our hero we get points

main points and invader points so we're gonna start pushing them into I guess

building and learning okay they're it unlocked the other one so i'ma go for

offense and a little bit of food production because food production

you're gonna realize you're gonna need that a lot of you plan on making your

hundreds of thousands of troops so I'm out of those points so we clicked the

invaders weekend invaders so we're just go ahead and upgrade that I would just

go all the way to ten before you start coming down here to the other ones

okay and um it's nothing yet don't worry about it

heroes energy my level four and my experience they do have exp books

that you can buy from the store or earn once in a very great while is very rare

but then you could just apply them or buy them for gold and give your hero

some experience

okay see we have another chest okay so we're go ahead and upgrade the house -

real quick well we're just hit it and then of course it shows you everything

about it Palance is the main building and dwelling of Jarl you can see all

the town stats here upgrading the palace unlocks a possibility to upgrade other

buildings so upgrade will get that for free hit free and now in order to

upgrade the palace and it wants us to level them all - - in order to level the

wall to 2 - we got a level the forge to 2 in in order to lvl the forge we gotta lvl the mine

So after all that craziness

okay that's 19 minutes so you if you're in a clan the good

thing about being in the clan is that you can hit help button and people that

help you right here these are other people asking for help you can help all

and as they help you it takes down the minutes or hours or days even depending

on what you're upgrading so that you can upgrade it faster so it's really nice

being in a clan that people help you to contribute to that help get your time

down YAY level 5!

and we just do this we just keep leveling up everything unfortunately I

can only build one thing at a time unless you buy certain things from a

bank they're called profits or secondhand hiring and it allows you to

build two things either with buildings or with knowledge depending on like

which one you buy so we're gonna wait on that cuz I definitely don't

want to spend my gold okay and so that ends this video and um

hopefully some of you start playing this and come over in Stampbberg immediately

and look for Star Bright and join my clan and let me know if you do send me a

little message saying hey you know I watched your video and I'm here I'll

send you tons of resources tons so you can start building and have fun and be

with it I'll do more videos about this game especially when it comes to going

out and attacking other castles I'll be doing somewhere about that as well

all right guys have fun if you have any questions write in the comment section

below like and subscribe I'll talk to you later bye

BUTLER CREEK Flip-Open Eye-Piece Scope Cover / HONEST BUYER'S GUIDE - Duration: 3:17.

the Butler Creek flip-open eye-piece scope cover now in this video we're gonna give

you a quick executive level overview of this buyer's guide from spadezilla.com

it is a researched review which is intended to save you time spent on

research there's no need to reinvent the wheel because the research has already

being done now before we get into the highlights of that research it is worth

noting that at the time of recording this product was the number three best

seller on Amazon under the Gunn scopes category so it's definitely a very

popular product however of course the key question is is it the right product

for you to help you answer that question this is the highlights of our research

now in regards to the positive reviews there's four main themes of praise and

they are that it represents an excellent solution that the caps stay in place

that the flipping up of the caps is quick and easy and people love the price

things to consider this is a neutral category firstly and perhaps most

importantly it is strongly recommended that you do not use the fitting charts

this isn't regards to figuring out the correct size for your optic and for some

reason there seems to be something wrong with the charts its leading people

astray and people getting very frustrated having ordered the wrong size

there are two other methods you can use to figure this out and there's details

about it here in this paragraph I'll let you check that out on the buyer's guide

number two we've provided a link to the official measuring guide which includes

instructions for one of these methods number three be aware that there is a

popping sound on opening the caps which could be frustrating for you depending

on your requirements there is a workaround and we'll come to that

shortly critical reviews now there was just two main themes of criticism the

first one not surprisingly is due to this hole sizing issue that we talked

about up here it really did cause a lot of frustration and people were venting

their frustration in the reviews having chosen ordered and received the wrong

size caps for their optic the hinge was the other thing that came in for

criticism with some critical reviewers now getting closer to the bottom of the

buyer's guide this here is the video review that we

most useful when we were doing our research we check out written reviews

and video reviews it is a little bit longer than it needs to be and so what

we've done is list the parts of the video that are most useful so you can

jump straight into the good stuff and save some more time now in regards to

this popping sound that we talked about the demonstration of how to open

it quietly is that 2 minutes 46 seconds into this video so that's one of the

reasons is quite helpful down the bottom we've also included the video version of

the measurement guide just be aware it does demonstrate the fitting chart

method as well as this caliper method only the caliper method is recommended

for the reasons already discussed okay the other thing to be aware of is you've

got links here to the product with these different retailers so if you quickly

want to compare prices it's very easy to do so so there you have it a quick

overview of this buyer's guide from Spadezilla in review of the butler creek

flip open eye-piece scope cover I do hope this saves you time in proves useful

Creating a Content Marketing Strategy for Your SMMA [Step-by-Step Guide] - Duration: 21:52.

As marketing costs and ad costs for platforms like Google or Facebook

marketing or Instagram continue to rise things like content marketing and SEO

become ever more important because of the fact that it doesn't cost any money

after you create that piece of content it just keeps going forever and ever and

ever so in today's video we wanted to show you guys exactly how we've been

able to create such strong content marketing strategies for ourselves and

for our clients so in this video we're gonna teach you that stay tuned here we

go

all right what's going on everybody Jordan Steen aka Cereal Entrepreneur

here and at this channel we talk all about starting a social media marketing

agency ,a digital marketing agency building a personal brand or really just

starting a business online so if you guys are interested in learning more

about that make sure to hit that subscribe button in the bottom right

hand corner of this video and then the notification bells do you get all of our

updates. Now guys content marketing is taking any type of content whether that

be something physical or digital and basically turning it into something

valuable, informational, entertaining or that even more popular phrase called

infotainment basically taking it into something that your potential audience

will use and is practical right they can actually take it and use it in their day

to day life today or tomorrow and it actually provides value to their day or

to their life now good content marketers already understand that content really

comes down to the value you provide you should be giving pretty much every

answer that a potential customer could have away into your piece of content the

big issue comes down to when people ask well Jordan what am I gonna do if I'm

just giving it all away for free that's the best part you don't give it all the

way for free in one big article number one nobody's gonna read that but number

two because the best strategy is actually the piece mail it all together

and give it to them in little little chunks so that way over time they're

just like oh my god there's so much here I need this person's help or I want this

person's product or service so again let's go ahead and talk about the exact

step-by-step strategy that I use to create my content strategy to where we

know we're gonna get results instead of just hoping that it works oh and make

sure to stay tuned to the end of this video because we are going to show you

guys exactly how to create your content calendar, what tool we use and how we

actually go about setting it up this is something you're definitely going to

want to use if you're creating a content marketing strategy in 2019 alright guys

so let's go ahead and jump into creating the content marketing strategy you guys

can see on my screen we're gonna go through several different things all of

these little apps up here that you can see your apps we're gonna go through and

talk about how we use them and the exact process we take to set up this content

marketing strategy the first thing you're going to want to do guys is

create your goals and objectives so we'll come in here and I like to use

lucidchart to do all of my operational or operational workflow planning or any

kind of ad flow or content flow planning really just any kind of planning in

general I find it comes useful because you're able

to draw arrows to things and basically line things up in the diagram that's

beneficial so if you want to check out lucidchart we'll leave a link for it in

the description below but basically goals and objectives all you're going to

want to do is what is the goal of your content are you trying to drive leads

with your content are you trying to you know build sales for your content are

you really just trying to inform your audience with your content not all the

time is someone using their content to sell directly though that's what it

indirectly does right so line up the goals that all that mostly influence

your your KPIs meaning your key performance indicators what's going to

actually get people to the next stage of the sales funnel so from top to middle

to bottom and so with our content we'll just say for social media marketing and

digital marketing agencies we want to make new people aware of SMMA as an

opportunity we want to drive traffic to lead to landing pages and specifically

our SMMA mini course all right and then ultimately we want to drive that traffic

to our CEA website to Cereal Entrepreneur Academy to purchase the DMS

right that's it those are main high level goals that we

want to focus on with this content marketing strategy you can even go more

specific so these are high level goals you could go even more specific so we

want to increase search ranking for the keyword sets for social media marketing

agency digital marketing agency you know you can go very specific and target

specific keywords you want to start ranking higher for or content that you

want to rank number one for on Google or YouTube so it's just up to you what

stage you're at in the funnel or what stage you're at in the planning process

really to determine what kind of goals you're going to do and so remember what

I like to do is I create a high level strategy and then with keywords

specifically in creating content you're going to want to create a sub

tragedy that focuses on main sets of keywords so for a gut for again for us

it's so to start a social media marketing agency how to start a personal

brand how to become an influencer on Instagram how to start a blog how to

start a YouTube channel all of those are things that we try to target and we're

trying to increase our search ranking for right and so what I want you guys to

think about is you start off with those words but beneath that there's a bunch

of subsets right so for example how to start a social media marketing agency

could a subset of that could be how to start an SMMA starting an SMMA pricing

structures for SMMA pricing for SMMA just that outsourcing for SM ma scaling

your SMMA there's so many different subsets right so all of those add to the

how-to that start your SMMA keyword set right and so that's essentially what

you're trying to do with your content now the next thing you want to do is

create your buyer personas and if you don't know your buyer personas then you

need to figure them out quickly but basically these are just the people who

are going to be engaging with your content so you'll look at your

objectives and say okay well who are those people mail for us this would be

males right typically between the ages of 18 to 35 we would say that they're

entreprenuers spread this out a little bit so we get a little room

entrepreneurs would be for sure marketers, college dropouts, never went to

college,

you know just wants control of their career whatever makes up your buyers

that's what you want to lay out because again this helps you determine okay well

do we need to actually send this type of content to that person or do we not

right so I'll show you guys like and this is more for the ad strategy so

right here like for example one of the questions we like to ask when we're

creating new content and ads is what are the types of viewers that we're gonna

have so we have people that has seen our channel and never heard of SMMA or

digital marketing agencies they've heard or they've heard of social media

marketing agencies or digital marketing agencies but they've never seen our

channel they've heard of both of those topics they've seen our channel and

they've subbed or they've heard of all of those

topics they've seen our channel and they haven't subbed right so we're trying to

figure out who we're trying to break down who our audience is and who we're

actually trying to talk to with this content that we're creating so that's

what you're gonna do there next thing you need to do is perform a Content

audit so what I've done here you can see right here this is our content audit

where you can see all of these are keywords that were ranking for because

that's really what it comes down to and then how people engage with the content

what's perform the best right and so how did we put all of this together how do

we know well the only way you can do a Content audit is if you have content

currently so if you don't then you're not gonna be able to really perform a

content audit outside of looking at competition right so that's where I

would start if I were you guys look at the competitions content see how people

engage and react to that kind of content but if you have your own then you're

going to want to look at a tool called Google search console and that's this

tool right here and it shows us all of our traffic so we've received in the

last three months twenty five point two thousand clicks and a total of 1.1 1.6 1

million impressions an average click the rate of 1.6 in our average position is

49 point two now unfortunately our position dropped off when we switched

from our kajabi site to our from our teachable site to our kajabi site so

we're working on building all of that back up you can see what there was this

huge drop-off right here and now we're starting back to climb up we had a

couple of those actually back here because of you know just changes being

made to the site so that kind of stuff happens but anyways the tool itself what

you want to look at you click performance over here and it's gonna

show you all of your keywords so you can actually turn these two columns on and

now look I can see what keywords I ranked number one for and what keywords

so let me break this open a little bit more I can see what keywords I ranked

number one for what the click-through rates like what clicks I'm getting on

them so why is this important let me show you this right here I'll show you

exactly why this is important because as far as Google is concerned when I go to

YouTube and I have another queue it's a called keywords everywhere you can see

right here it's this tool right it's a plugin for google keywords everywhere

great plug-in you should check it out but if I type in top SMMA niches you

can see it actually says there's no search volume if I click on it you'll

see volume zero cost per click zero competitions here but what does Google

search console tell me well top SMMA niches though it

says zero for all of these I'm getting nine clicks roughly 22 impressions and

I'm ranking number one for that search okay and there's other sub niches for

SMMA six nine 66.7 so I am getting some traffic now granted that isn't a ton but

it is very very specific traffic that I know that if someone is in the marketing

agency space they're gonna be typing in a topic like that and so that's why

we've actually got a lot of free traffic one of our SMMA niches videos I think

has like 10k views on it so that's 10k free views talking about that topic and

again this is just the last three months when it first you know when it first

came out it was even more popular so and that's what you're looking at you're

using this tool to determine okay where do I rank for keywords currently where

am i ranking number one right that's great but where am i ranking like number

ten plus and how can I increase those ranking so we'll go down where am I

ranking down here these are the keywords that I'm gonna start trying to increase

if they make the most sense so how to start earning from digital marketing

that says zero but it's getting seventeen impression so that might be

something I look at but really I like to look for the ones with search volume

that I can get into Tai Lopez I'm not really interested in that starting a

social media marketing business we're ranking 9 for we're getting 392

impressions for so what that means is we could probably create a topic with that

exact title and it would get a lot of search volume and we would actually

probably get a lot of clicks to our site because of that right so that's

something that you guys want to understand you have to perform that

audit to know where your stuff you know exists currently and when we get even

you know more money in the future when we scale more we're gonna have software

that helps us do this even better it's super expensive so we're not doing that

now but in the future we plan to do that too so all of these have built to

conducting an audit now that you've done your audit right you know where you

stand currently and what keywords might be good for targeting the next thing to

do is to get into the keyword research phase okay and so that starts with

several tools I've mentioned keywords everywhere that's a great tool for when

you're on Google and YouTube it'll show you keyword traffic and suggested

traffic another great tool is to do Ubersuggest and so what you'll do is you'll

start with your high level keywords like for example with us it's starting a

marketing agency so starting our

start a social media marketing agency and it's going to give us a bunch of

suggestions and stuff like that so we will actually take that we'll put it

there I'll do the same thing over at Google on Google Keyword planner you

just go to keyword planner click find new keywords you do have to have an ads

manager account set up to do this so just make sure you have that set up

first and then we'll click get started and then it's going to start giving us

keywords as well you can see all of these are keywords and then I like to

sort by competition to get the high competition or go for try and target for

a newer channel target lower competition with high search volume right and so

we'll go through this entire list and we'll pick out keywords that are

relevant to our KPIs which are trying to sell people to start their own social

media marketing agency same thing what we'll do and then we'll we'll start to

so basically we'll create an Excel spreadsheet let me show you what that

looks like over here that's landing pages we have our Excel

spreadsheet here of keyword list though so let me pull this up and you guys can

see right here this keyword list is a bunch of different keywords that we

already know you know where they currently exist what the volume is what

the competitions like and so this is what we use to basically prioritize and

then build our keyword sets that we target with our content that we create

right the next thing is Google Trends so once we you know figure that out one of

the best ways to start if you don't know where to start and you have a new

channel is Google Trends you'll come in start a social media marketing agency

and this tells how relevant a keyword is over time right and so what it does is I

can actually say when I first started give this example all the time but I can

put start a digital agency and what it's gonna do is it's gonna compare the

popularity of the two right so social media marketing agency starting start a

social media marketing agency is actually a little bit more popular than

start a digital marketing agency and so that tells us which keywords to target

so let me give you an even better example we'll just put in social media

marketing because when I was first trying to create my course I had

figure out which was more popular digital marketing social media marketing

or digital marketing which one gets more search traffic and in general you can

see digital marketing is actually way more popular of a keyword than social

media marketing even though right here it's actually

showing them coming together and being about the same typically it's pretty far

above that and you can do last 12 months you can do all categories and you can

separate it out by business and industrial you can do web search so that

way you know what types of search you're doing look youtube search boom I can go

there and show the popularity for that search on YouTube social media marketing

is much more popular so that's why this tool is important it's gonna tell you

where people are searching for things on what platform how popular they are all

of that really cool information next I recommend getting some sort of paid tool

like SERP stat or AAH refs but basically what this allows you to do is get

third-party data about keywords so we'll take that same thing social media

marketing or start social media marketing agency I think I put start a

social media marketing agency start a social media marketing agency we'll do

search and it's gonna find keywords for us while we do that we'll go back over

to Ubersuggest and see what keywords they found also some things for you guys

to know search volume is important obviously pay difficulty is how many

competitors are out there paying for ads with this specific keyword right 79 is

hard because it's out of 100 SEO difficulty means how hard is it going to

be for you to rank organically for a specific keyword based on how many other

people are creating content around it as well there's a whole scale basically

there's a cool scale over on SERP set so you can do SERP stat keyword difficulty

and they actually have a little scale in case you guys ever forget but that scale

basically says that from 0 to 20 is easy anything from I think 21 to 40 up 21 to

40 is medium 41 to 60 is difficult in 61 to 100 is very difficult so if you have

a new channel you're wanting to start here once you start to getting some

traffic you move up into these keyword difficulties once you really have a

large following difficult and then the super large followings they go after any

keyword they want right and so you'll use that to determine what keywords you

should focus on so look I can see these keywords right here and look no data for

difficulty let me just click how to start a social media marketing agency

because I don't have how-to up there so it'll give us information for that word

but you're looking for scores with low key word difficulty not too much

competition if you can but that doesn't always mean it's a bad thing because

competition means that people want that keyword it's an important keyword right

and so you can see it the cost per click is generally about seven dollars and 22

cents for that specific keyword there's about 390 searches per month and I know

that the keyword difficulty is actually probably around the 30 to 40 range

because this is what I do all the time so that being said it would be a good

keyword for us to target right and so that's what all of these tools tell you

to do it helps you prioritize your keywords into lists of keywords that you

know you'll rank for versus ones that you're hoping that you just created an

awesome video for so now that you've done your conduct you've conducted your

content audit you've done your keyword research the next thing again is once

you have all those keywords you know on a list on Excel you'll want to

prioritize based on things like the search volume how much competition there

is in paid search how competitive it is for search difficulty and then you're

just put a personal score I like to do a personal score and look at all of the

metrics come up with those keywords and say okay which ones do it comes down

really just you making a good decision as a marketer by looking at all the data

and saying I know these will be easier to target for we'll do this on the first

and second month of creating content and the third month will switch to these

topics all right so prioritize your topics make sure that everything makes

sense and that you're building on top of each other not that you know one month

we're gonna do one on social media marketing and then the next month I'm

gonna do something on I don't know how SEO affects pay-per-click marketing

right you need to in the beginning pick a niche and stick with that niche and

become the expert in that niche then start branching out from your content

from there finally you need to set your content calendar so once you prioritize

your topics and your keywords then you actually need to create article topics

based on those keywords so that's when a Content calendar like this comes in

handy you guys can see like if I were to keep going up it'll take forever to load

but there would be up see though there's content here and you keep going up

forever and ever there's always content on here but

this is our content that we're actively and currently working on and you can see

we have all of this information here with keyword research being submitted at

a certain stage we have outlines and everything like that but we're planning

our content out and you can see all of these other steps first draft second

draft copy drafts you know revisions proofing you know post being scheduled

video transcription being done there's so many different steps that we're doing

to plan this campaign and then everybody has different jobs you can see all of

these are different people over here with different jobs and due dates on

tasks so you know it's just making sure that you're doing everything and

planning everything to execute properly if you're not doing all of these steps

it's gonna be very difficult to create a content marketing plan that's successful

the last thing I like to do is once you have the content marketing plan for at

least the first month and a half I recommend getting a month and a half out

right planning a month and a half ahead that gives you enough room to make

adjustments that's why you know we're actually right here with our content

creation but we're already here with publishing and scheduling right we're on

this week right here but we're a month and a half ahead roughly and we're

planning on even getting further ahead than that in 2019 but once you do that

one of the best things you can do is create a campaign planning calendar and

this is where you just go in and you add topics for future so you can see in here

this is all the way up to February and we're adding in more and more topics

this will be done to March by the end of the week probably so that's so that way

you can see what the big picture looks like what topics are you creating in

January that you can also help you know build in February that are going to

mingle together so that way you get more traffic to your articles basically all

of your content is being shown to people instead of you know suggesting a bunch

of other people's content so a quick question for you guys when it comes to

creating your content marketing plan have you or have you not used this

strategy or a strategy similar to it if you have used this strategy before I

just want you to write "Yes I've used it before" below in the comments if you

haven't I want you to tell me why you haven't used a strategy like this or

maybe you've used another strategy and leave what that strategy is below let me

know if there's anything I can do to improve my content marketing strategy

and make it even more killer in 2019 make sure to leave that comment below so

guys as you can see with content marketing it comes down to more than

just planning it really comes down to making sure that you know what keywords

are going to help you rank and you're creating topics that people

actually want right you can't just base it all in keyword research it also has

to be based on topics that people want but keyword research is super important

and by the way if you're wanting to know more about keyword research make sure to

check out this video in the top right hand corner about how to do keyword

research really the right way we've put together a video that goes more into

those topics that I was just discussing a minute ago and since you guys stayed

content marketing calendar a role right below this video in the description

Unique JAPANESE STREET FOOD tour in KAMAKURA (鎌倉) + Travel Guide | Tokyo Day Trip - Duration: 19:00.

Alright guys so it is time for another day trip.

Today we have left Tokyo behind and come to Kamakura (鎌倉).

Which is a coastal town about 1 hour south of Tokyo.

We hoped on the Shonan-Shinjuku line (湘南新宿ライン) and paid 920 Yen to get here.

Also this place is known as the Kyoto of the East because you have a whole bunch of temples

to visit.

So our plan today is to temple hop and also enjoy lots of street food.

So we are currently walking down Komachi Street and this is the place to enjoy street food.

However it is still a little bit early in the day.

It is just past 10 am and a lot of the shops are just opening up and setting up there food

stalls.

So our plan of action is to go visit the temple (Hasedera Temple - 長谷寺) at the end of

this street and then we'll come back with an even bigger appetite and enjoy some street

food here in Kamakura (鎌倉).

So we have just entered our first temple and this right behind me is the genpei pond.

What do you think?

Very lush.

Look at how yeah it is like super lush right in front of me.

Also it is going to be a hot day today.

Yeah it is.

Man like it is so early in the morning and we're already struggling.

I'm sweating bullets already like just non-stop stream of sweat coming down my forehead.

Argh.

So it would appear this is a very popular spot for school groups to come on field trips.

Like so far most of the people visiting are kids.

It is like field trip central at the moment.

Field trip central.

Yeah.

So now I want to show you something that is super

typical of Japanese temples and basically just behind me like over my shoulder we've

got this massive wall full of sake barrels.

And basically these are offerings aside from the barrels they also have some boxes and

more sake so this behind me these are more like modern offerings I would say.

I don't know about these older barrels if they are actually empty or if they still hold

sake but yeah that is a lot of alcohol.

A lot of booze here at the temple.

And this is where people come to tie their prayers and wishes.

So we just finished visiting that temple.

We sure did we found a little shady reprieve here off in the corner.

Yeah.

There is nobody around here.

Yeah.

It is kind of cool.

And there is a museum in there that is 200 Yen.

We've decided to save our money and we're going to spend that on street food instead.

Yes.

And that is where we are headed next.

Indeed.

Food time.

I brought my appetite.

And one custard.

Sam.

(Speaking Japanese)

That is going to be so good.

So we didn't waste a single minute after visiting the temple.

We just hustled back to where we were earlier.

The street that is just lined with street food stands.

So I found something that I've been wanting to try.

Since we arrived in Japan this is a mochi ball stuffed with custard (いちご大福).

With a strawberry on top.

We haven't seen it in a lot of markets but I've seen it in a lot of videos and it just

looks so delicious so I knew I had to order one.

This was 300 Yen and let's just admire this thing of beauty.

It sure looks beautiful.

Ho ho.

Mmmm.

Woah, that is a big bite.

Oh wow.

It is a monster bite.

Wow.

Is that good?

That just oozes custard.

Haha.

Mmmm.

Wow.

I didn't even get strawberry in there.

Tasty times?

That is better.

Wow.

Sweet too?

This is amazing.

This may be one of the favorite things I've had at the street food market.

This is so good.

That is incredible.

Well Sam was certainly a bit more adventurous with his choice.

Yeah, when I say this little omelette with mini fish (whitebait - 釜揚げ)しらす)

I'm like I've got to try this.

This is one of the most visually interesting pieces of Japanese street food I've ever seen.

Yeah, and this was 250 Yen.

Yeah, it sure was.

Let's see if it was worth it.

Argh, let's try that I'm just going to try not to spill too much of it.

That is my biggest concern.

Mmmmm.

Oh wow.

What do you think?

Well the first thing you notice when you bite into it is that it is a really thick omelet

so you have that taste of the omelette but then as you start chewing it you start getting

more of the fish taste.

And to be honest the fish isn't as strong as I was expecting.

I thought it would be a bit more crispy and salty.

But it is salty but it is not as salty and crispy as I had expected but.

Interesting.

It tastes good like I'm definitely getting my protein this morning.

One apple cinnamon.

Thank you.

Thank you.

(Speaking Japanese)

Okay so Sam wasted no time finding his next snack.

Same vendor.

Same vendor.

As we were walking to the temple I noticed this.

I'm like Audrey when we come back I've got to try it.

And this is the Taiyaki (鯛焼き).

It is the fish shaped pastry if you take a look down here.

Yeah.

Yeah.

This one is a different flavor.

That is what I noticed.

So this one has apple and cinnamon and the other interesting aspect of it too is that

it is not completely cut out.

You can see that there is an outer layer here.

To where the fish is.

And it is a different batter.

For the taiyaki it is more like a pancake of waffle batter.

This is more way more flaky and crispy.

That is the word.

I can just tell in my hands already.

So yeah it is a twist on the Taiyaki.

It is time to try that bad boy.

I'm taking a huge bite.

I hope to get some of the filling.

Mmmm.

Oh wow that is so different from any of the other ones I've had.

Yeah?

I think most of the filling is still in the middle.

I only got a little bit.

I'm actually tasting mostly the crispiness of the outer batter I guess you could say.

Oh okay.

So I prefer the to be honest I prefer the original Taiyaki more than this particular

style.

Because it has more filling?

It has more filling and it is just I don't like the crispiness of this one as much to

be honest.

No?

No.

Nope.

It is a little too toasted.

A little too toasted.

Yeah.

Does it taste a bit like pie?

It kind of looks like a pie crust.

That is a great way of explaining it.

It does taste like the pie crust.

Like a kind of the burnt pie crust.

Hahaha.

250.

(Speaking Japanese)

Oh wow.

Jelly.

Woah.

That looks so cool.

Soy bean powder.

Argh.

Yes.

Oh.

Very soft.

Very soft.

I opened please open left hand.

Babies skin.

Baby skin.

Hahaha.

Thank you.

(Speaking Japanese)

Well we found the coolest vendor so far.

We sure did.

What a colorful character.

He demonstrated the preparation and everything.

This is awesome.

So we have no clue what it is called.

That is the only problem.

It kind of looks like jelly (Warabimochi - 蕨餅).

Yeah.

It moves around.

Yeah.

He did tell us it is coated in soy bean powder.

Right.

So we paid 250 Yen for this one.

Yep.

It looks like it is going to be a nice little dessert.

And yeah it jiggles.

It jiggles.

He said soft like baby skin.

Yep.

And yes it kind of does feel like a baby there.

Hahaha.

First bite guys.

Woah.

Mmmmm.

How is that?

Oh wow.

Does it taste like honey?

No.

No?

No but it is like halfway between mochi and jello.

Oh.

So it is more jiggly than normal.

It is mochi.

Yeah like mochi tends to be a lot heavier.

Right.

Like a heavier sticky glutinous rice paste almost.

Yeah.

Yeah.

Um but this moves and it just feels a lot lighter.

Wow.

Even in your mouth it kind of like dissolves and melts quicker.

It is interesting.

That is fascinating.

Yep.

But it is not super sweet.

I was expecting it to be a lot sweeter.

Mmmhmm.

It almost looks like it should taste like honey just based on the color.

Yeah yeah.

But it doesn't.

It doesn't.

Interesting.

(Speaking Japanese)

So this place where we are getting the ice cream specializes in all things sesame.

It is called the flattering gold sesame Audrey.

It is.

I hope it tastes flattering.

(Speaking Japanese)

It is ice cream time.

It is ice cream time.

I've been waiting to try some unique flavors.

Yes.

This is about as unique as it gets.

Black sesame with soy milk (黒ゴマのアイスクリーム).

Yes.

And they've even put sesame sprinkles all over it.

Yes.

This place specializes in all things sesame.

Oh la lah.

And this one came to 380 Yen.

Mmmm.

How is that?

Oh that is so so good.

Really?

It is so rich.

It has a more sesame flavor that it does like ice cream.

Wow.

And it is so thick.

The thickest ice cream I've ever had.

I can describe it as feeling a lot heavier and less refreshing than normal ice cream

but I like the richness of the taste.

Interesting.

It is really really interesting.

And you know what?

They also had some other weird flavors.

I know.

One of them was a white fish.

Whitebait.

Which is a tiny white fish you had on top of the omelette.

Yeah.

It is an ice cream flavor.

Already had that on the omelet.

I'm not going to try that for the ice cream.

I don't want to ruin my relationship with ice cream.

I know.

That could ruin ice cream forever.

Yeah.

Forever.

Guys we've been trying to figure out what kind of souvenirs we're going to get from

Japan.

And we haven't bought anything.

Chopsticks.

Wooden spoons.

Finally we're going to.

Wooden knife.

For the future home.

Future home!

That is coming up.

That is coming up someday.

Alright time for another snack.

And we've actually popped into the shop where there is AC and like little stools.

So this is wonderful.

It is so hot outside.

It is wonderful.

So this again no idea what it is called because no English signs.

But it kind of like from the photo it looked like maybe mashed potato (cheese korokke - コロッケ).

Yeah kind of like a croquette maybe with cheese.

So it looks like it fried Japanese croquette.

Crispy on the outside.

Yep.

And I ordered the cheese kind.

And this was 180 Yen so yeah I've got high hopes for this.

First bite.

Mmmm.

What do you think?

Oh yeah.

Wow.

It is kind of like mashed potato with cheese.

Woah.

Mmmhmm.

That is good.

That almost needs a bit of ketchup let me tell you.

It would go good with some salsa.

Some dip.

Mmmm.

Pleasantly surprised.

Okay and for dessert still at the same shop we got some ice cream.

This one is purple potato.

Purple sweet potato.

Purple sweet potato and matcha (抹茶アイスクリーム).

So you can see the two colors mixed together.

And I paid 350 Yen.

Yes.

Or was it 380.

350.

350.

There we go and it is melting fast so let's dig in.

Mmmmm.

Is it good?

Mmmm.

What do you taste more?

I mostly taste matcha so far so let's see what the purple is all about.

I've got to say the purple potato doesn't have a strong flavor to it.

No?

I could be anything.

It is dominated by the matcha.

Dominated by matcha.

Matcha is way stronger.

Matcha for the win.

Hahaha.

But yeah super refreshing and they have a whole bunch of other flavors.

Yeah.

Like soda.

There is a special type of strawberry as well that is kind of like white in color.

Yep.

So yeah you can get creative over there.

So update.

We had our food and we are now on our way to go see the Great Buddha (鎌倉大仏 - Kamakura

Daibutsu).

So basically we walked back to the train station.

Kamakura station and we got on the Enoshima line and it was three stops over to Hasey.

We got off there.

The train was so crowded.

It was super packed.

Um but anyways we've just got off and now we are walking towards the Buddha.

Towards the mountains.

That is going to be our next temple.

What are using to cool down.

Oh my gosh.

Our tickets.

Made it.

Made it.

We are seriously like drenched in sweat right now.

It is kind of gross.

But anyways we've reached the temple.

It was 200 Yen person to enter.

Also they had a really funny sign right as you are buying your tickets.

It says No Pokemon Go here!

Like I know that game was really popular for a while maybe it still is.

Is it?

Yeah, I remember hearing about that a few years ago.

Yeah.

And then I remember like last time we were in Singapore there we like masses of people

like running places and what is going on?

Why is everyone on their phones.

It was like Pokemon Go Central.

So there must be a Pokemon in the temple.

And you can't catch it here.

Alright so we saw the Buddha.

That is the second tallest Buddha in Japan.

We saw the tallest one in Nara.

Yeah.

What did you think?

I thought it was massive.

I think the only bigger Buddha that I've ever seen was the one in Hong Kong.

Do you remember the Tian Tan Buddha?

Oh yeah.

Yeah that was huge.

But this thing is a behemoth.

It is definitely worth checking out for sure.

Also you can pay 200 Yen to go inside the statue but on a day like today with this heat.

Like what is that like cast iron.

Imagine being in there?

No thanks.

No thanks.

No thanks.

Hot enough outside as it is.

We are enjoying a relatively quiet escape because a lot of the kids are eating their

lunch.

You can probably hear them in the background.

But yeah it is just nice and lush and shaded over here.

I'm really learning to appreciate shade in Japan in the summertime.

Like the heat here is like Southeast Asia heat.

It is super humid and I wasn't quite expecting that.

Okay so it is time for our last temple.

We are currently visiting Hasedera Temple (長谷寺).

And we paid 300 Yen per person.

Also because it is June and hydrangeas are in bloom they gave us this special ticket.

It is a numbered ticket.

So basically I guess you line up and you can walk along the path and enjoy the beautiful

flowers in bloom.

So we'll try that if it is not looking too crowded.

Alright guys so we are now going into the tiny tunnel.

I can't even stand up straight.

Oh my gosh.

So yeah this is super interesting.

I was not expecting this at all.

So in the first part of the cave you had like these massive stone carvings.

And then we walked through a tiny little tunnel and here we have more like little niches um

with smaller smaller statues and it is also a wet cave.

There is like water dripping everywhere.

Woah.

Sam is struggling.

He's like hobbled over.

Woah.

There is more.

There is another cave here.

And there we have the exit.

Oh my gosh.

Daylight again.

That was cool.

That was very unexpected.

Well well.

It has been a long day.

Well well we are heading home.

It was a long day.

Mostly because of the heat but we saw some really cool temples.

We ate some delicious street food.

And yeah now we are going back to Tokyo.

But if you are looking for a fun day trip Kamakura (鎌倉) is certainly worth it.

Laos Top Travel Street Food Guide - Duration: 14:09.

If you're into good food and cheap beer,

Laos is the destination for you.

Right now we are in Vientiane in Laos, and

we have an interesting afternoon planned.

Today's our day off.

We've been filming for our new travel show,

which premieres on Tastemade YouTube TV channel this fall,

and we're going to go explore the capital of Vientiane.

So we've been here for the last couple of days.

We've been on set.

We pretty much sweated out every single article of clothing that we have. It's humid.

So it's really hot and humid here, and we need to do some laundry.

That's first on our to-do list, but we're also going to try to do something

that's a really a specialty from here, getting a custom-made tailored suit.

That's because Laos, Cambodia, and Vietnam used to be what was called French Indochina,

and the French brought the European tailoring to this part of the world,

and it's really affordable.

You can get custom-made suit for under $100

So we're going to do laundry.

We're going to get some street food, probably get a massage

because those are pretty cheap here, as well. Five dollars.

And try to get a custom suit. So let's go.

We're at the tailor. It's called Bin Tailor.

Hopefully, they actually do custom suits here.

This might just be like a menswear store.

The first place that we were recommended, not actually a tailor, so one strike.

That was not a wild goose chase.

This is the promised land. We're here.

Nobody in here actually speaks English, and we don't speak any Laos;

we're using Google Translate,

downloaded the app; you load the language.

Hopefully this works.

The guy has called his boss.

Marko's on the phone with him

explaining that we have less than 24 hours to get these suits made,

so fingers crossed.

I think that we might have to go to a different shop.

The prices depend on the materials so you can't just ask them for a quote because everything's different quality.

You can just see right here. They're all different prices,

and then you pay for the labor on top of that.

I mean the main question is whether we can get it done in 24 hours

because we leave tomorrow night at midnight.

Two useful phrases in Lao sabaai-dii, which is hello and

traditionally you greet people by clasping your hands together and doing a little prayer.

Then the next one is khop jai, which means thank you or khop jai lai lai, which is thank you very much

Wait a second guys. We just got led back to the first place

But the guy on the phone said he can do custom suits here.

Maybe the guy just was upstairs and wasn't there, but we'll see.

if you've watched this vlog long enough, you know

that occasionally we get sucked into some Marko wild goose chases.

This could be one of them.

I hate to say I told you so,

but I told you so.

Okay. Can we just do our laundry, get a massage, get a beer, eat some street food?

All right, well we have accomplished one thing on our to-do list, which is the laundry.

Granted, it's the easiest thing to do.

Getting a tailored suit in 24 hours is difficult.

So we might try this again when we're in Hong Kong.

It's also very famous place for tailoring.

But now the afternoon is open. It's raining like crazy.

We're here during Typhoon Maria.

So there's a lot of water being dumped in the Pacific.

One thing that I've noticed here is that in Laos,

often times your beer is served with ice.

Laos is not a very developed country,

so there's not a lot of refrigeration.

I think that's why they serve the beer with ice,

but the really cool thing here

Is that in Laos when you get a beer the person who buys the beer pours the beer himself, first

and then the rough translation is, " To me." I got this. It's very funny.

It might seem kind of strange to a westerner because we are usually, " To you," and we bought you a beer.

It's our gift

But here it's like I bought it, so cheers to me first,

and then you pour the beer into one cup and pass the cup

around until the whole bottle's done and then open the second bottle.

So quick introduction.... our friends joining us in today's vlog are:

Nathan from the previous Monaco vlog -assistant camera op, and Katie, the producer.

I love it here. This is my favorite place we've been here on the show, without a doubt.

The people here are fantastic- super nice.

We had from two separate stores walk us over to

the laundromat and translate for us.

Who else is going to do that? Where else?

They're very friendly. They know that we're just lost.

We're totally lost here. Lost in Laos.

And everyone here is really funny.

I don't know how many times people will just be like

all the women are just giggling at us all the time.

We walk in and we're trying to vlog and get suits

and using Google Translate to try to say what we want and there's (giggle)

They just take us and lead us to the next place.

It's a little adventure.

For me definitely, the best part about Laos is the food.

It's very unique; it's definitely different.

There's a little bit of overlap with Thai food, a little bit of overlap with Vietnamese food.

But it's done in a very special way, in a very Laotian way.

I am in the kitchen now and

I think we should just get... let's get in there and see what it's like,

see what it smells like, see what it looks like,

see what it tastes like.

Alright, moment of truth.. some quick little roadside noodles

I feel that so many people come to Southeast Asia, and they skip this country.

I'd say probably not a good call.

There's so much on offer here,

and it really is not that touristy, which is great.

We're at the trip the dragon massage. Five dollars for one hour of massage. Let's do it.

He says his shop is famous for the foot massage.

So I think we're going to start with a foot massage

and then maybe get a shoulder massage or something like that.

This is a guy rubbing his giant belly. Is this not amazing? Here's the belly button.

It's actually just you rubbing his giant Buddha belly.

My favorite part is his hands. Look at his tiny hands.

Okay, we're going to check back in with you in an hour.

Both of us together was fourteen dollars and fourteen cents,

and that was a generous use of the exchange rate.

Very, very affordable and that lady's elbow worked me.

I feel so good.

She was putting her knees into the back of my hamstrings and it hurt so good,

but I feel amazing right now.

It's all about pressure points and stretching and acupressure,

as you can see on this diagram here. Here you can see.

This is the stomach. That's the liver. It's crazy. It's good. It's great deal. I think we should go eat more drink more.

We have made our way to a little night market to grab some food,

and there's quite the array of delicacies on offer.

Just behind me here is pretty much every single kabob imaginable: chicken feet,

organs, an entire skewered little chicken with the head still on.

Wow, look at that.

That's like a whole butchered pig right here. Look at that.

That is the tail of the pig right there.

There's the snout, too.

Street food in Southeast Asia is definitely the way to eat well on a budget.

There's tons of stuff here.

One of the best things is just chicken.

They take a whole breast of chicken all the way in the arm,

and they roast that and that's about

15,000 Kip which is about just under $2.

There's also fish that's roasted in salt. There's full duck.

There's an entire spatchcock chicken. There's a bunch of pork,

and the other night I found some funky stuff. I ate some

variations of larb, which is like a basically a meat salad here.

I had snail larb the other day.

Would not recommend that, but duck, beef, and pork is all really good.

Supposedly, it's not pronounced larb.

It's lab, , and here in Laos, it's actually called goy.

Yes, so that's a dish that a lot of people associated with Thai food,

but actually does come from here in Laos.

It's really good though. You can easily spend about 3 bucks and have a really good meal.. 5 bucks,

you're cruising, and 10 bucks, man

you're the king of the town.

Vientiane has a lot of nightlife. Back in the 60s and 70s,

this was an R&R spot for American soldiers who were fighting in the Vietnam War.

So they were allowed clubs that were built up then.

The country became communist since 1975,

and they wiped out most of the clubs.

But these days, there's still quite a bit of nightlife.

Even though we're at that street food market,

we've had a couple of nibbles.

We popped inside of this little restaurant right next to it, and we're going to have a hotpot.

Thank you

Nathan with the Laos ladies! Wow.

It's the mustache dude. It's the mustache.

This guy's the full package. Yeah.

Oh we didn't get suits..

No, we didn't but, we had a great day.

More of an afternoon/ evening,

but let's not split hairs here.

It was a fun time

Vientiane was sick. Honestly,

I was here nine years ago as a budget backpacker.

I did not like the city, and in filming our episodes, I had a great time.

We discovered another side of the city that I'd never experienced before.

We will not let you know who was budget. You have to watch

the episode to find that out, but let me just say

this has transformed itself into a

very big surprise for me,

and now I would say one of my favourite cities here in Asia.

I have never been to Laos, never been to Vientiane, and

I would have to say that

what I really loved about it is that it has all of the best things about Southeast Asia,

and it's lacking so many of the drawbacks of Southeast Asia.

And one of those being over tourism.

Yeah. Like you go to Thailand

or you go to Bali and those are great places or beautiful places,

but there is the downside of tourism

being too many people and too much tourism that it actually changes the place

that everybody wants to visit because it's so cool.

And that I feel like is not happening here. Laos is incredible.

The people are super friendly. The food is incredible. It's really affordable, and

we would just like to encourage you on your next trip to Southeast Asia to stop through here.

Stop in Lao, experience the culture, experience the food, and enjoy yourself.

On that note, we're going to go to bed. We're tired and we're going to Okinawa

tomorrow to film the next episode of this show.

So if you enjoyed the video, you know what to do:

give it a big thumbs- up, share with your friends,

subscribe and turn on notifications, if you haven't already, and

make sure to check out the show when it goes live in September of

2018 on Tastemade's channel on YouTube TV.

And in the meantime stay curious keep exploring.

We'll see you guys on the road. Peace

TV Guide Calls Chris Pratt Problematic? - Duration: 7:55.

good morning everybody and welcome back to Gold Shaw farm it's a lovely day

here in northern Vermont it's about 28 degrees and it's snowing or sort of

freezing rain ish it's like on the border between the two the Ducks are

doing really good it's a good average winter day here on the farm but I had

something I wanted to talk to you guys about lately on the internet I've been

reading about this uproar related to Andy the lead singer of mouse rat and

just a minute scarecrow boat is gonna rock it out please be patient while we

rock out the equipment set up you know TVs Burt Macklin

my name is Burt Macklin I'm with the FBI you know Chris Pratt the guy who played

star-lord in that movie and then that other movie and then those other movies

well lots of people out there are getting in an uproar right now about

this article that was written by a woman over at TV Guide it's TV Guide even a

thing anymore the new TV Guide channel coming your way February 1st I thought

the only person who still read TV Guide was that creepy dude on the 7 train I've

never seen a beautiful lady reading the guy anyway this woman Kaitlin something

or other I can't remember her name off the top of my head wrote this whole long

article about how to love Chris Pratt even though he's really problematic or

something to that effect and she has like a whole bunch of reasons why she

has problems with Chris Pratt I'll leave a link down below I can't even remember

them off the top of my head my memory is horrible this morning but regardless the

the the point though that I wanted to highlight is she cites one of the

problematic things about Chris Pratt is the fact that

number one he likes to hunt in number two he has his own farm and he likes to

raise and eat his own meat now given that I am a guy living here in

northern Vermont trying to start my own farm this sort of struck a chord with me

Here I am trying to raise my own food as well as food that I sell to other people

I've got to say I'm really struggling with this idea that you could be

problematic because you raise your own food the article even pulls a quote from

Chris Pratt saying how he tries to raise his lamb so that they have this really

happy life and then just boom one day they're off to the freezer

so essentially espousing the one bad day philosophy which as you guys know I'm a

big believer in if you're gonna eat meat arguably the most ethical way that you

could ever eat meat is to eat meat that you raised yourself to eat meat that you

knew where it came from you know what goes into it and and you know how it was

treated and you know how it was killed I don't know if this Kaitlin

something-or-other is a vegan of some sort and if that was the case I could

maybe see her point of view a little bit better in that you know she doesn't eat

meat herself and so she sees anybody who eats meat as somebody who's worthy of

some moral judgment but if her objection is that he raised these animals and now

she's upset that he's killing these animals for the purpose of food I think

that is downright ridiculous that shows such an incredible disconnect with your

food system and where your food came from and and what it all means you know

the other week I actually went to a party with some friends and it was a

potluck and so to you know contribute to the potluck I ended up taking a couple

of our ducks that we had in the freezer and cooking them and making these

awesome duck tacos I mean they were really awesome and most people were

really excited to eat those duck tacos I think the whole crock pot was empty in

about 45 minutes but there was this one friend that I had who really struggled

with it and said oh I can't eat those and it's not because she doesn't eat me

but it was because you know she's a friend that I've been telling about my

ducks and showing my videos of the Ducks and pictures of the ducks on Instagram

saying yeah look at these things and she saw him when there were little fuzz

balls and then she saw them while they do their wackiness outside and she was

really struggling with this idea of oh my gosh I can't eat those things now

those are I see that these are living things with a connection that I have and

I I can't ever possibly picture killing them for food and that to me blows my

mind because that to me says you're fine with eating meat as long as you don't

know where it came from and as long as you don't feel like you can acknowledge

that at one point it was a living creature you know our society has a

whole host of problems many greater than this issue but people's disconnection

with food and people's disassociation with where their food comes from I feel

like as a root cause for many of our society's problems I know that that's a

little bit of a soapbox I'm standing on but hey it's my point of view I just

call this out for people who are out there eating meat but don't know where

their food comes from and look at a guy like Chris Pratt and they judge them and

say oh my gosh what he's doing and killing those animals and eating those

animals is awful because I got a say looking at the dude from my vantage

point that's pretty much the most ethical way you can eat your food no now

the other thing though that I will call up on this matter is sort of the rage

industry that has popped up as soon as this article came out there's been a

number of articles out there particularly within the homesteading

community but particularly also like on places like Fox News a TV Guide editor

lambasted him as problematic places with a conservative viewpoint saying look at

the liberal media they just don't get how real Americans live Beltway elitists

who haven't discussed for America's heartland and this is an attack on

middle America but there's a middle part of the country that is rejecting this

wholeheartedly bobbity blah blah blabbity blah blah and you see this with

Chris Pratt my heart goes out to him he's just a good red-blooded American I

will say that those reaction pieces are quite overblown too and they even take

this woman's article a bit out of context and I fully realized that I'm

probably contributing to this problem by making this video and piling on top of

it all but I'm raising this issue because I think the only way as a

society that we're ever going to truly progress is if we start asking questions

and challenging view and having discussions about it I feel

like in the last I don't know 20 years or so we've devolved into this mass of

one point of view and another point of view and they just go at it constantly

and I don't think that that's really productive so I really do bet that this

woman has a point of view and I really would like to hear it so as a guy who's

out here raising his own animals and eating his own animals I clearly have a

bias on this topic and so I would fully acknowledge that

but at the same time I want to understand her perspective when you say

that it's problematic for Chris Pratt to eat meat that he's raised why like what

is the issue you know the article if you really parse the words in there it

doesn't get into it so I'd love to know and for all the people out there

watching I'm also curious to hear your point of view what do you think about

the the story from TV Guide what do you think about Chris Pratt what do you

think about how everybody's reacted to this piece I'm very curious I will be

responding to comments and if you want to learn more about Gold Shaw farm and

what we're trying to do here is we try to start a farm in Vermont

be sure to check out one of our other videos or you can subscribe I will see

you guys in that next video and I look forward to hearing what you have to say

down below
