Don't F.A.F! Learn How To Get Unstuck In Your Life. - Duration: 6:34.Hey I'm Preet Kalsi and you're watching Preet TV and why are you watching Preet TV?
because you want to be in this space that supports you to design a life you
love with passion confidence and purpose. So let's begin. Now we all know what it
feels like to be stuck. Maybe it's that our career has gone a bit sluggish or maybe
we find that our creativity seems to be on hold or we've still not got around to
dating. Maybe the right time just doesn't seem to arrive. Or are we F. A. F ing? Now
what do I mean by faffing? Well there are usually three sneaky buddies that keep
us stuck. Fear, Avoidance and Fantasy. Fear that it's not possible or we won't
be able to do something. Avoidance of taking those difficult steps we need to
take when meeting our challenges. And Fantasising - thinking dreaming and more
thinking and more dreaming without actually taking any action to make our
goals really happen. Living with any of these three buddies
on a very frequent basis, well will make us inactive and stuck. So I'm gonna say
it again don't F.A.F. Don't faff around, instead get
on working on the opposites. Firstly number one: Don't Fear. Are you afraid to
take the next step towards your personal or career vision. Do you find talking
yourself out of it or convincing yourself it's not really what you want?
Hey I hold my hands up here too - I fear taking the steps to develop some of my
goals and I just want to back off. I rather stay home and watch Frozen. But I
know that's not gonna get me there so I've got to overcome that. How? Well I
get my journal and I set my mind to the "Be Honest" zone, and I write down what I'm
afraid of. I write down as many fears as possible
no matter how ridiculous they seem. Then for each one I write down an action
I can take to change that fear and once I have done that I'm not stuck on it
anymore I know I can get out of it and move on. I just need to take that action.
YAY! Right next one, number two: Don't Avoid. Have you been planning that
crucial talk since January last year 2018? Do you write website in the diary
every Monday morning, come Friday it's still there, uncrossed? Do you make excuses
for not reaching out to someone who could help you with your big idea or
someone who can help you out with the chores that you've got? As human beings
living with fears and uncertainties we can be willing to do certain things
towards our goals but not others. Why? Well because they're difficult, they make
us feel exposed or push us out of our comfort zone. So that action we need to
take just keeps getting rewritten into the diary again and again and never
actually happens. You get me? Believe me I've been there. My weekly planner has
"Write Preet TV scripts" in it since July, last year and my avoidance tactics
included I'm not in the writing zone, I got too much going on, I don't feel
inspired. So what did I do? I stopped making excuses and I held
myself accountable to my 21 year old. Yep I told her that I would write three
scripts in a week and release the first episode on well, today! That's holding
yourself accountable. I wrote nine scripts in that week. To
feel inspired again I joined a new gym with killer workouts. This got me into my
body and doing new stuff that I thought was impossible for me to do. Let the
creative juices free fall!! To get back into the writing zone I
started reading one book a week. I literally see words everywhere now. So
don't avoid. Take a breath - Take the action, and if you want to celebrate
tricky actions after they're done go ahead, you deserve it. I'm going to be
biting into a fudge brownie after I sign off here. And finally number three: Don't
Fantasise. Have you ever heard the phrase, "A vision without action is just a
fantasy." Well I completely believe this. Repeatedly fantasizing about situations
even those close to our hearts or which have great meaning are still just
fantasies. They don't make anything happen people! They just take up time and
distract us from doing what we actually need to do, which is to take regular
bite-sized action towards our goals and make our progress happen. Taking the action
also gives the vision a chance to expand and evolve. Fantasies on the other hand
just replayed over and over with no result. Sad huh? What we want is
visualization with action, so stop the fantasies and make the vision a reality.
How you gonna do that? Take action! So there you have it - how to release
yourself from being stuck, after all being stuck is a choice. Now I'd love to

How to get DOUBLE your reviews on Amazon in 2019 - Duration: 3:50.- So if you want to get more reviews,
one of the easiest ways to do it as you probably know,
if to send follow up emails to your customers,
asking them to leave a review.
Now this obviously doesn't work as well as it used to
because everyone's doing it and customers
are getting more emails than ever.
But there's still very easy and quick ways you
can improve it.
Now when you send an email there's two important things
that you need to know.
First is for every 100 emails you send,
how many people actually open it,
and then for very 100 emails you send,
how many people actually go and post a review?
So fixing the second part which is how many people go
and post a review is, can be done.
You basically, it's dependent on your copy,
and what you write in the email,
and the service you provide and all those things which
is the subject for another video.
But in this video I'm gonna focus on the headlines,
which is a lot easier to improve,
and to get results very quickly by changing a few words,
or coming up with new words on the headline,
because remember when a person,
when your customer gets an email,
the first thing they look at is the headline,
and if it's not interesting
and it doesn't make them curious,
they're just not gonna open the email,
and if they didn't open the email,
it's as if you never sent it,
so it's just a waste of time.
So definitely when you're sending emails,
you should be testing your headlines
to make sure that you are getting the highest open rate
that you can on all your emails.
Now an easy way to do that is to use a program
that let's you A/B test your headlines,
which means you have one headline
that you get a 20% open rate, for example,
and then you can test that against another headline
and what the program does is it sends 1/2 your customers
the email with the first headline and the other 1/2
of your customers the email with the second headline,
and then measures the performance of them
against each other.
And that's how you get open rates such as 51%,
48%, 58%, obviously this is Amazon Canada,
so open rates there are generally higher just
because less people are sending emails.
But the point is still the same.
Initially when you just come up with a regular headline,
your open rates may be 20, 30%,
but then as you go ahead and you start testing the,
you start testing the different headlines,
you could see over here that you could test three headlines
against each other.
One, two, three.
And then you could, the program will basically split this,
split your emails into three groups.
And each group will get a different headline,
and then it will show you which headline performs best.
And then you take that headline and you use it
on all your emails.
And now you went from,
if previously you were getting 20% open rate,
so for every 100 people only 20 people were opening it,
and you managed to test and find an headline
that gets an average open rate of 40%,
you just DOUBLED your chances of getting more reviews,
because now instead of 20 people opening your emails,
every time you send an email to 100 people,
40 people open your emails.
And overall you could continue doing this many, many times
and eventually get your open rates much higher.
I've seen people with open rates as high as 60 and 65,
maybe even 70%.
Obviously it depends on their niche,
and the product, but it's definitely doable,
and something you should be doing.
If you're not doing this you're really losing out.
