EDDA: Biotechnology Research Institute Guide | Ragnarok Online kRO - Duration: 5:57.
In this video I'm just going to explain how the instance works.
After a long time gravity adds the first instance where you can bypass the story.
2 Mode: History-Report Mode. Battle Mode.
The main difference between both: History Mode you have npc, text, etc and is ''more'' easy.
Battle Mode.. direct to hunt mob and haven't text or others. History Mode reward fragment x2.
Battle Mode: fragment x5 papers x 3.
Apart battle mode have a chance to drop ??? chest.
This treasue have a special weapons.
Other box with papers and fragemts. Other box with soul job misc (the same item that sepulchre of victims).
Fragments and papers why?.... Example of special weapons of this edda.
You can add enchants 4 and 3 slots for this weapons.
4 slot is a enchant common for example fight lv 4 etc etc...
3 slot you can add special enchant.
Example desc for special enchants of 3 slot.
How enchant?
50 fragments and 50 papers you can add 4 slot enchant (random) and other 50 fragments and 50 papers you can add 3 slot enchant.
be careful If you fail enchant you lost the weapon!!!.
If you increase to 500 fragments and 500 papers if you fail 4 slot don't lost the weapon!!.
If you increase to 500 fragments and 500 papers if you fail 3 slot don't lost the weapon!!. But the enchants is random.
If you want choose enchant... you will can. How?
If you increase to 5000 papers you can choose 3 slot enchant of list.
And 100% chance to enchant.
But the 4 slot is random. And you must enchant the 4 slot before
And you can use the x50 mode or the x500 mode for the 4 slot. (Random enchant).
Once you have the 4 slot enchanted you can use x5000 to get the 3 slot at your choice.
I hope that in gravity continue to add to the instances the mode '' battle '' to bypass the npc. NoTe: In youtube you have a vidz of korean users that clear battle mode instance.
As for example in OGH instance to skip the start and go faster. Thanks for watching...

The Fake Disabled People Guide [CC] - Duration: 5:25.
Have you ever seen an able-bodied person park in a disabled parking spot, and think, "Hey,
that's not right"?
Have you ever met someone who said they were mentally ill, but they seemed perfectly fine
to
you?
Have you ever seen a person in a wheelchair who you were pretty sure didn't need one?
Do you want to put a stop to all those big ol' fakey fake fakers?
So do disabled people, and
today in this video I'm going to teach you the steps necessary to prevent ableds from
pretending to be disabled!
One.
If you're an abled person, don't park in disabled parking spaces.
Two.
If you're a neurotypical person, don't tell people that you're mentally ill.
Three.
If you're not dealing with a physical condition that requires the use of a cane or walker,
don't walk around with one.
Four.
If you're not dealing with a physical condition that requires the use of a wheelchair, keep
your ass out of one.
Five.
If you're not living with a medical condition that prevents you from functioning at a level
that mainstream society deems acceptable, you're probably not disabled and should refrain
from calling yourself such without speaking to a doctor first.
In regards to a stranger,
that's strictly between that person and their doctor, and absolutely none of your f*cking
business.
I'm sorry.
This isn't what you clicked on this video for, is it?
You thought you were going
to get to wag your finger at disabled people and feel smug, and instead a disabled person
did that to you.
But that's not right, is it?
Well, not to worry, dear ableds.
I'm about to
give you an acceptable target for all that pent up self-righteousness.
Are you the parent of one or more abled children?
The following are five helpful tips on how
to guide your children today, to build a less ableist world tomorrow.
One.
Teach abled children not to steal assistance devices from disabled children.
This includes
things like canes, hearing aids, and anything else a disabled child uses to make life easier
to live.
Make sure abled children understand that, just like adults, it's never their place
to decide whether or not a disabled child needs the device they're using.
That's between the
disabled child and their doctor, and your child is not a f*cking doctor.
Two.
Teach abled children not to call other children names like "retard", "lame", or "psycho".
This is ableist language.
Ableist language, like all bigoted language, is wrong.
Three.
In fact, why not teach abled children not to call other children any rude names?
Then you
can avoid awkward telephone calls from the school principal, and becoming the subject
of
unpleasant gossip at PTA meetings.
Four.
You could even go one step further than that, and teach abled children to care about the
feelings of other human beings.
Then you wouldn't only be preventing ableism, but all sorts
of problems like assault, murder, and Tik Tok videos.
You wouldn't want to be responsible
for more Tik Tok videos, would you?
Oh, that would make the next PTA meeting embarrassing,
now wouldn't it?
Five.
Teach abled children not to dress up as disabled people on Halloween.
Straight-jackets are
not cute, and canes are not toys.
Instead, encourage your abled child to dress up like
something that truly strikes fear in the hearts of the innocent, like a police officer or
an
ICE agent.
All jokes aside, teaching kids these types of lessons early in life will help them learn
to
respect disabled people, and make them less likely to run around pretending to be us when
they become adults.
If you're a disabled person with feedback or tips of your own to
contribute, please post them in the comments section below.
If you're an abled person with a
sincere interest in learning more about ableism, I've posted a collection of links to
resources below that I think will be helpful.
I hope you enjoyed this guide.
Thank you for
watching.

Wheatgrass Health Benefits & Wheat Grass Growing Guide - Microgreens - Duration: 8:18.
- [Narrator] Wheat grass is extremely easy to grow.
It is loaded with vitamins and minerals
unlike anything else and has some very interesting
health benefits that you may not know about.
Let's look at growing wheat grass
and how you can supplement it
in your diet for a healthy life.
So one of my friends gifted me this container.
This is made of natural cedar wood,
and this is great for growing herbs
and microgreens like wheat grass.
For the potting mix, we are mixing
coco coir and you might have seen
my videos on coco coir,
it's very easy to just take a brick
and then it expands,
giving you some really good coco coir.
And we're gonna be first lining up
this container with a lot of coco coir,
and then we are gonna add some compost.
Now this is a compost that I usually use
for all my potting mixes.
This is composted horse manure,
and just a mix of compost and coco coir
is enough to give you a good potting mix.
Here is the seed packet that you're
gonna be using for our wheat grass seeds,
and it's a great quality wheat grass seed packet,
and all you're gonna do is sprinkle
the wheat grass seeds on top of
the potting mix we just created, as you can see here.
Now you don't want to crowd your seeds in one place,
but rather spread it out as much as you can,
and finally we're gonna be using
some more compost to just cover the seeds.
Now the reason we cover the seeds
is so that they do not fly away
and birds do not pick them out from the soil.
Once the seeds have been sown,
all you need to do is make sure
you have enough moisture for the seeds to germinate,
and we're gonna be using some water
to moisten the soil and we are good to go.
In about seven days from sowing the seeds,
you can see that the wheat grass seeds have germinated,
and let me just explain to you what wheat grass is.
Wheat grass is the baby wheat plant,
you can call it the baby wheat plant,
that hasn't produced wheat yet,
and it has all the goodness of wheat without the gluten.
So this is a pretty amazing microgreen.
You can grow it at your home.
It's extremely easy to grow,
and during the first few days or germination,
make sure that you keep your seedlings watered very well.
I'm just keeping this container
near a window which will get plenty of light,
and it's enough for these seeds to germinate and grow.
In about 15 days after sowing the seeds,
you can start harvesting your wheat grass.
You can let it grow even taller.
It will be quite some time before these plants mature,
so you can let them grow taller,
but I'm gonna start harvesting
my wheat grass greens at this stage.
These are loaded with vitamins and minerals.
Wheat grass has a lot of health benefits,
which I will soon explain.
And the first method to harvest
the wheat grass greens is to just pull them out.
Now the wheat grass has a very strong root system,
and you can see that I'm literally
breaking these grass seedlings.
The weed can also be seen here.
And to make the process easier,
you can just add some water to loosen up the soil,
and then you can easily pull out
these wheat grass seedlings.
Now this is one way to harvest it.
The downside of this kind of harvest
is that you lose the plant itself.
You just take the top part of the wheat grass
and then use it as you normally would.
But let me show you the second way
of harvesting it, which I found to be better,
and that is to just use some scissors
and clip the top part of the wheat grass.
Now the edible portion of this wheat grass
are the greens, and this is what you need to harvest.
Now the wheat grass looks just like
any other grass that grows around you.
However, it is very unique,
in the sense that it has a very high chlorophyll content,
which is very beneficial for you,
and it is also loaded with vitamins and minerals.
It also has antioxidant properties,
so overall it's extremely good for your health.
Wheat grass also lets your body
relieve itself of toxins.
It can even counter mutagenic cells,
cells that mutate, you know,
cells like cancer cells for example,
which wreak havoc on your body,
so wheat grass has a lot of health benefits,
and is something that I highly recommend
that you start consuming at least on a weekly basis.
If you can consume it daily, that's even better,
but at least on a weekly basis.
It's better to use wheat grass
to cleanse your body of toxins
and improve your overall health.
As you can see here, we are harvesting
all these wheat grass greens,
and this is the only part of the wheat grass
that you will be using.
So what is wheat grass?
Wheat grass is nothing but a baby wheat plant
that produces these greens that you can consume.
They are loaded with vitamins and minerals.
They have great health benefits.
They help improve the function of your organs,
and play a very important role in your overall health.
And as you can see here, this is the harvest,
our wheat grass greens harvest,
and what we are gonna be doing with this wheat grass
is we used a Blend Tech blender to crush the wheat grass,
we added some carrots, water, some ice, and wheat grass
to create this delicious wheat grass smoothie.
Now this smoothie has a lot of benefits of the wheat grass.
It has all the fiber.
It has all the nutrients.
The blender should be powerful enough
to crush the grass clippings or the grass leaves
to create a juice as you can see here,
and the Blend Tech does a great job.
Now once you've harvested your wheat grass,
the plants are still there.
The plants and the roots are still there.
So all you do is water the plant well,
and once you water the plant
and leave it out in the same location,
a nice, sunny location,
you can see that the wheat grass plant will regrow
and then you can continue your harvest for a second time.
And about 20 days from the time you sowed your seeds,
we can now have a second round of harvest.
You can see that the wheat grass has grown back,
the plant has produced more grass blades,
and these can be harvested again.
So for the second harvest you're gonna
be using the same technique.
We're gonna use some scissors and then clip
the top part of the wheat grass.
And we are in growing our wheat grass
in potting soil or real soil,
and I don't recommend growing wheat grass
using other techniques, like hydroponics
or, you know, soil-less mixes,
or like fiber or anything else,
and the reason is that when you grow in soil,
the wheat grass has excellent roots
to absorb all the nutrients from the soil
and all these nutrients from the soil
in turn gets into the wheat grass
and then eventually when you consume it,
it gets into your body.
So by growing wheat grass in the soil,
you can expect some useful elements
from the soil to be absorbed,
things like cellanium for example,
which is only found in soil,
will be absorbed by the wheat grass
when you grow it in soil.
And this is what our harvest looks like again,
very fresh, delicious, and organic
wheat grass greens that pack a punch.
And once again, you can leave the wheat grass as it is
and it will grow more greens in no time.
So there we have it, folks, that was
a new episode on growing wheat grass greens.
It's super easy to grow, and if you
grow wheat grass greens at home,
do let us know in the comment box below
and let us know how you use your wheat grass greens.
We'll see you again soon.
Happy gardening.

L-Sit Progressions and Step-by-Step Guide to Nailing Your L-Sit - Duration: 6:33.
The L-Sit can look pretty simple - I mean all you're doing is just sticking
your legs out in front holding yourself up, right? Well, the thing is though a lot
of people have trouble with the L-Sit. But no worries, I'm gonna help you with that
today I'll show you how you can work on it I really like the l-sit a lot. You can do it
on the floor, you can do it on the rings, you can do it on the p-bars
Hell you can do it on the escalator going down showing off looks pretty cool
just be careful of other people in front of you
In this particular tutorial
I want to keep it super simple for you, okay. The main thing here that we're
after is making sure that you have the proper position. If you focus on that you're
gonna find that it's going to be a lot easier as you work towards the full
l-sit now before I get into the step-by-step for the l-sit I do want to
say that there's a little bit of a difference between doing the L-Sit on the
floor compared to the parallettes compared to the rings and for more info
on that just click somewhere here on your screen
I'm gonna take you to that very detailed video that explains the differences
In this particular tutorial I'm gonna show you doing this on the P-bars simply
because I feel that that is the easiest place to start since it gives you lift off of
the ground, some clearance, and as well, it's going to make it easier for you to
use your legs to help you for the particular progressions and variations
that I'm going to be showing
All right, so let's jump into it
The first step is making sure that you have the proper position for the L-Sit
Now we're gonna be using the P-bars as I mentioned earlier I really think this is a great place to start
I don't want you to get too concerned about the height of your P-bars, okay?
If they're really low to the ground like I have that's fine, if
they're higher, whatever, it doesn't matter. Let's just make sure that your arms are
completely locked out, your elbow pits are facing forward, you have your
shoulders pulled back and down with your chest up with your butt underneath your
shoulders - that's the starting point, that is the position that I want you to focus
on, no matter what progression, no matter what variation you do with the l-sit
Alright, so we've got the shoulder arm hand butt to shoulder relationship set
next order of a business is bringing your legs together, tucking your legs up
tightly to your body, but keeping your toes on the ground I just want you to
hang out in this position remember you're pushing down and through the P-bars
pulling the chest up, shoulders are pulled back and down, elbow pits facing
forward, chest up looking forward straight you're not looking up you're
not looking down and simply tucking your knees close into your body with your
toes on the ground This is our first progression
Alright so you're really comfortable with that position with your toes on the ground
now right?
Cool, now what you're gonna do is simply pull one foot off the ground slightly
this could be simply a matter of pulling the toes off the ground
I don't want you to think that you should pull your entire
knee and leg up off of the ground that could compromise your position so
without trying to move any other part of your body simply pull the toes of one
foot off of the ground, hang out there a little bit, then switch feet
alright next order of business is bringing both feet off of the ground
now remember what I said earlier about trying not to move the rest of your body
we want to keep that first movement or I should say position where you have your butt
underneath your shoulders, elbow pits facing forward, arms straight, shoulders
pulled back and down, gaze is neutral, you still have your knees pulled in, you're
in a tucked position, but now all you're going to do is pull your toes up off of
the ground so that you're hovering floating in that tucked l-sit position
okay you've got that floating tuck position down now, right?
now it's a matter of simply extending the leg slightly, holding and then pulling back
I'm not asking you to fully extend your leg so this isn't where you have one leg
completely straight all you're doing is while keeping one leg tucked in tightly
opening up the other leg a little bit holding it and then
and then switching legs remember you want to focus on keeping the rest of
your body as still as possible
All right, next up is simply extending one leg so
that you're performing the single leg l-sit if you will
when performing this, try to lock out the leg and point the toe of the leg that you're extending
I should say toes of that foot
the otherleg is pulled in tightly and again you want to make sure that you have that proper position
where you're keeping your butt under your shoulders, shoulders pulled down and back
elbow pits facing forward, gaze neutral, everything still comes into play when
you're extending that leg holding it pulling it back and then extending the opposite leg
alright so we've arrived we're now going to look at the full l-sit
you've got the body position shoulders pulled back and down
elbow pits facing forward, chest up, butt under the shoulders, gaze neutral
now all you're going to do is go from a tuck position
and as you exhale we're going to extend both legs, locking them out
making sure to point your toes
something I want to say about this
in the very beginning when you extend your legs out
if you happen to notice that your feet are dipping below the p-bars it's
perfectly fine in the beginning hold that position the best you can you know
three seconds is great maybe five seconds okay get comfortable with that
with practice and over time you'll find that you'll be able to raise the leg so
that they're even or parallel with the parallel bars so that you can hold that
90 degree position of sorts for the l-sit
alright there you have it - the l-sit
I really hope this video helps you with your L-Sit
now I would love for you to leave a comment and as well check out some of the other tutorials we have
we have tons available click on the link somewhere here on the screen
as well please subscribe thank you for watching

Bringing Oppa Around Singapore: Best Chinatown Food Guide | S1 EP 2 - Duration: 11:45.
Erm...
Oh shit!
Hi guys! I'm Nic!
I'm Stephen!
And welcome to another episode of Eatbook vlogs -
where we bring Stephen around Singapore to let him try things that he never try before.
Are you excited?
Very excited!
So the last time round, Xenia was your tour guide.
N: You guys went to Katong right? S: Yeah.
So today I am your guide, we are exploring Chinatown.
Have you been to Chinatown before?
I've been to the Maxwell Food Centre,
and I've visited the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple.
Oh... Okay, so Chinatown actually has a lot of nice food.
Plenty to do, plenty to eat!
Let's go!
For our first stop for today, because it's still super early in the morning,
we are here at Tong Heng Confectionery.
Now, this place has been here for over 80 years.
These are my favourite egg tarts in the whole of Singapore!
For the first dish, we're gonna try the omelette on toast.
You can choose between Nonya pandan kaya, coconut sugar kaya, and sea salt pandan kaya.
It's super fluffy and crispy as well.
The flavour just keeps coming.
The coconut sugar kaya doesn't really have as much of a pandan taste.
It's more like just - sweet.
The sea salt kaya is really quite salty,
and at the same time, there's still that very strong pandan taste also.
So actually out of the three kayas, which one do you prefer the most?
If I have to pick two, it'll be the first (nonya pandan) and the coconut sugar.
It's a tough fight between the first (nonya pandan) and the third (sea salt pandan) for me.
I feel like it depends on the mood that you're in.
For the omelette when you actually order this, it only comes with one of the kayas.
But today they're very nice to let us try all three so we can compare the different kaya.
And let you guys know!
Next up, we're gonna try the lao po bing (wife pastry).
N: Do you know what is lao po bing? S: No.
Lao po bing actually translates to 'wife biscuit'.
It's made up of flaky pastry,
then on the inside there's winter melon and almond paste.
What do you think? This is your first lao po bing ever.
When you take a bite and the flakes kind of just take over your mouth.
So light and crispy!
But then when it's all in the mouth, then it starts to melt together.
Then after that you get to chew on the filling.
Wow! It's an experience on its own!
We're gonna move onto the egg tarts.
We have the traditional ones - their best seller.
I've been eating this since I was like 2 years old.
Because my parents love this, and my grandparents love this as well.
The custard's liquidy, but firm.
It coats your tongue in flavour, and it just disappears.
To me there are two different types of egg tarts.
You have the ones that are more like crumbs, rather than flakes.
And then you have this - at Tong Heng, where it's a lot flakier.
So they're actually known for this diamond shape, plus very simple ingredients also -
there's no dairy in their egg tarts.
So if you're lactose-intolerant, this one's for you.
Last but not least, we have their coconut egg tart.
Their coconut flavour is not very strong - it's just a hint.
The coconut's throughout the tart.
It adds like a chew with the crunch of the pastry.
So we are done trying all the different items here, which one was your favourite?
Kinda like the lao po bing!
The pastry was really light.
The flavour of the jam - amazing!
I was very surprised by the lao po bing because it actually made me think a bit like -
"Do I like this more than the egg tarts?"
But no la, I think for me at the end of the day,
when I come to Tong Heng, the thing that I would confirm plus chop go for is still,
the original egg tart.
Right now, we are at People's Park Complex Food Centre -
a very popular food centre around the Chinatown area.
We've got a dish of yong tau fu from,
Yong Xiang Xing Dou Fu.
Well done!
Thank you!
So Yong Xiang Xing Dou Fu is very special because the queues here are absolutely crazy!
They're only open for 3 hours every single day because everything is sold out within 3 hours.
Before the stall opens, you can see them handmaking every single dish.
Cheers!
Oh the jiggle!
It's not too salty, plus like - very bouncy and chewy.
Yeah you bite into it and it kind of explodes!
The chilli is really good as well.
It's not overly spicy, but it complements the fish paste very nicely.
Welcome to another episode of Singlish with Stephen Kim.
In today's episode, we will learn how to describe something that is bouncy.
The fish ball is very 'QQ'.
The fish ball is very 'QQ'.
That was Singlish with Stephen Kim.
Bye!
Next, we're gonna try the fish cake.
This is the first fried dish that we're trying.
The fish cake's not as 'QQ' as the fish ball, more of a chew to it.
Even though it's a fried dish and it soaks up the soup,
it's not overly soggy.
Fried tofu, I think they stuffed it with fish paste as well.
The fried tofu has more texture to it, and that texture adds flavour.
For me, I don't really like fried tofu like this, but this is pretty good.
When you bite into it, you go through all the silky smooth tofu,
then right at the end there's a bit of the 'QQ'.
Last but not least, we're gonna be trying the silken tofu, also has fish paste.
I feel like the fried one was nicer.
I didn't expect that cause I normally always order regular silken tofu in my yong tau fu.
So a bowl like this actually costs $4.50.
It's slightly on the pricier side compared to other yong tau fu places,
but I think it's still pretty worth it because everything is handmade.
All the labour and the love that goes into making it.
Worth trying if you're here and you manage to come on a day when there's no queue.
No trip to Chinatown is complete without ma la.
So this is actually from Ri Ri Hong Mala Xiang Guo,
they are the OG ma la xiang guo before this whole ma la trend took off.
These guys were cool, before it was cool.
Fun fact: He produced the ma la challenge video that we were in!
So the thing about ma la is that, different stalls have different levels of spiciness.
So for Ri Ri Hong, we're gonna try and see what is their scale like.
This is the 'zhong la' (medium spicy).
*coughs*
Instantly I can feel the spice.
It's quite okay actually.
I'm quite surprised because it's actually very flavourful.
Quite savoury, and there's the peppercorn taste.
As soon as you take a bite, my whole mouth is just tingling.
But you can tell that they tweaked their ma la recipe to cater to local audiences,
because it's not that numbing, as compared to let's say you're eating it in China itself.
After you see me eating it, and then sweating like that then it will look quite intimidating.
But actually, it's really not that spicy.
I'm just weak.
Overall, is this worth the hype?
I've only tried ma la at one or two other places,
I feel that it's just same same.
Really ah?
To me it's really not bad, the way they stir-fry everything is pretty decent.
If you never try before and you're in this area, should definitely give it a shot.
So Stephen, when was the last time you wrote a letter to someone?
It's been awhile cause I've got a phone now.
Right, so this mural here that we are stopping at -
was actually done in tribute to all the letter writers of the past.
Because back in the days, letter writers would set up stalls like this,
to help write letters for Chinese migrant workers to send back to their loved ones.
Not to mention, it also makes a very nice IG-spot.
I help you take photo?
Okay!
I'll be your IG-boyfriend.
Now that IG photos are done, we're gonna head across the road to our next stop:
Liao Fan Soya Sauce Chicken Rice and Noodle.
The famous Hawker Chan.
Let's go!
We are now at Hawker Chan Soya Sauce Chicken restaurant.
This is the restaurant that's at Smith Street.
This place everybody knows, world-renowned for being the cheapest Michelin-starred street food.
Before we start, I wanna test your general knowledge of Singapore.
I'm quite confident!
If I'm wrong, I'll 'qia' (treat) you the $1 ice cream.
So the question is, what's the story behind the Merlion?
So right...
The merlion right...
Last time...
Got...
This lion...
Then...
*gives up* I buy you ice-cream later!
Just lost the bet but never mind, we're gonna eat Michelin-starred food now.
Very well-seasoned, the sauce coats the noodle very nicely, is like - al dente.
What do you think?
I think it's - 'QQ'.
Let's move on to the chicken itself.
Wow...
So tender!
Like it melts in your mouth.
It's like - you get the tenderness of steamed chicken, but the flavour of roast chicken.
For chicken rice, I need to put chilli sauce and stuff like that.
But this already has the flavour in it, and it's not overwhelming so you can still taste the chicken as well.
They of course, have char siew and roast pork as well.
Both of which, are very highly acclaimed.
So we will start off with the char siew.
Very nicely caramelised. Meat is very tender, it just melts in your mouth.
Usually I don't like eating fats, but that little bit of fats surrounded by the meat
just adds that extra kind of juice to it.
It feels a lot more complex than most other char siew.
Other char siew places, it's just like - sweet.
Last but not least, we have the roast pork.
My favourite!
He eats chicken rice or roast pork rice every other day!
Listen to the crunch!
That's a good roast pork!
What I like is that, you can sort of taste cinnamon-ish flavour.
Similar to the char siew, it makes you take a step back and wonder what's inside this.
S: It's like every layer of meat has flavour on it. N: Has a different flavour profile.
It's like - what?!
Thoughts on the world's cheapest Michelin-star?
I think they deserve it.
The roast pork is really good.
So much flavour throughout the meat and it's not too much fats.
For me, the real winner here is still the soya sauce chicken because,
that tenderness to flavour balance, you can't really get that anywhere else.
We have come to the final stop of our Chinatown excursion.
We are at 'Wei Xiang Yuan' (Mei Heong Yuen) Dessert at Temple Street,
just around the corner from Hawker Chan.
So this place, they are known for their traditional Chinese desserts as well as their snow ice desserts.
An interesting thing about the chendol is that you're suppose to add the gula melaka yourself.
I feel like it's not a very good idea for...
That's a lot of gula melaka!
This is the first time I'm trying chendol.
The shaved ice is so fine, it's like a cream.
And I like the hint of coconut in ice.
The stand out for me is really the pandan jelly.
You can actually taste the pandan flavour; not many places can get it right.
I think it's a great dessert!
It's like - light, refreshing and not overwhelmingly sweet.
We're gonna move on to durian snow ice.
Do you like durian?
The more I had, the more I grew to like it.
You can definitely tell that it's durian, but it's not overwhelming.
I feel like if you're someone who is trying durian for the first time, or you've never tried durian before,
this is a good gateway to learn how to appreciate durian.
So moving on to the hot desserts, usually tang yuan is a popular dish when it comes to reunion with families.
Today we have the sesame filling, as well as the peanut filling in a ginger-based soup.
Let's try the peanut one first.
The reason why I don't like the ginger soup, is because it's a bit spicy.
But what do you think about the texture?
I like it!
It's like mochi - so it's really soft but chewy.
The filling just blew up in my mouth.
Now we will try the sesame one.
I prefer the sesame over the peanut.
The flavour's stronger, maybe it overpowers the ginger.
We are going to be trying their peanut paste.
This is one of their more popular and famous traditional Chinese dessert.
Like you take a bite, and the aroma comes out.
It's very dense, I feel like it'll be very filling.
If you have dinner and you're not full enough, have this as a dessert and you're set.
So Stephen, which is your favourite dessert?
My favourite dessert would be the chendol.
It's addictive!
Cause it's got the soft texture of the ice and all those other little fillings.
Actually for me, interestingly enough, it's the peanut paste.
It's not something that I would constantly crave for,
but, today it's one of the more interesting and unique thing that I've tried.
Okay so after an entire day in Chinatown, been to so many different places,
Stephen, which was your favourite place that we went to?
Favourite place was Tong Heng Bakery.
The lao po bing was amazing.
For savoury dish, would be the handmade yong tau fu.
The fish balls were just - 'QQ'!
Okay I think for me it was also Tong Heng Bakery because,
been there so many different times for their egg tarts,
today, tried their lao po bing and the other things on their menu.
Prove that whether you've been to Chinatown many many times, or not that many times,
something new for everyone every single visit.
So if it's your first time in Chinatown, now you know where are the places that you must go.
If you have friends coming over from overseas and you wanna be an amazing tour guide,
set a good example today, I think.

NEW TANK ARCHER - Best way to unlock? - Battlefield 5 guide & tank history - Duration: 3:26.
hey everyone Azura here once again the new week of Tides of War challenge is
coming in two days this week we are going to get the Valentine arches
self-propelled anti-tank gun today I'm going to talk a little bit about the
tank history and interesting facts but if you want to skip ahead to find out
the most efficient way to unlock this tank through the challenges I'll leave
the timestamps in the description below the archer tank destroyer is based on a
valentine tank it uses the same chassis but with an engine upgrade with this
relatively small chassis it does pack a big punch 17 pounder anti-tank cannon I
will show you some rounds comparisons here you can see that the 6 pounder
that the Valentine Mk VIII uses here in the center the one on the rights of
its is used by the regular Sherman tank then you can see a 17 pounder right next
to it it is massively bigger and more powerful than a 6 pounder because of the
large size of this cannon and it's impossible for the tank to have a turret
it is mounted in an open-topped armor box
facing backwards to keep the size small an interesting side note is that the
same cannons also mounted on a Sherman Firefly tank back to the Archer it is
also interesting that the tank cannot move while firing because a gun breech
will recoil into the drivers position the driver has to physically leave his
seat before they fire the shot it's backwards design does allow the tank
escape with ease it will be interesting to see how it DICE will balance his tank
judging from the trailer here it appears that the tank is capable of firing while
moving but the unanswered question would be whether the drivers are susceptible
to explosives or bullets because of this open-topped design I personally think that
main driver will be immune to external damage but we'll find out in a few days
now we'll be discussing this week's challenge there are three main
progression paths that you can follow I will show you the challenges here the
middle path I believe is the easiest and most consistent both the top path and
the bottom path required to disarm or arm an objective
this may be a little challenging for many players because only a small number
of players can interact with those objectives at a time once again I do
think the central path is easiest I've highlighted the objectives here you need
to kill an enemy within 15 meters then you need to spot 10 enemies using a spotting
player in one life I recommend you to stop by the ammo station before
attempting this because you may not get all 10 people with just one flare then
you need to win three rounds and complete three squad orders
these will be very easy just keep playing the game quick game modes like
TDM domination or squad conquest will likely let you finish these very quickly
the last one will require you to inflict 500 damage using hand grenades
I think impact grenades will likely be more consistent but feel free to use
any grenades of your choice and that's really it for today I'll give my
thoughts on the archer tank when it gets released please consider liking and
subscribing to the channel if you think this video has earned it I would really
appreciate it have a good day and I will see you all next time

Bad Cell Phone Etiquette? Modern Man's Manners Guide | RMRS Style Videos - Duration: 9:32.
Bad Cell Phone Etiquette Modern Man's Manners Guide
[0:00:00] 84% of people think that texting or taking
a phone call during a meeting is rude.
72% of us feel uncomfortable moving five feet or more from our cellphone.
80% of us sleep with our cellphone.
And, 40% of us are addicted to our cellphone, some of us checking it up to nine hundred
times in a single day.
Gents, what all these data means is that we've got a powerful tool that many of us misused.
Today's video, gents, a modern guide to phone etiquette.
[Music] Today's video, gents, I'm breaking into
two parts.
We've got ten rules for phone etiquette and then, we've got ten situations and what
you should do in each of them.
Rule number one, the 10-foot buffer.
So, this applies if you're in a public space or you're at a party.
If you're going to take a phone call, you're going to make a phone call, you want to give
yourself a buffer.
What you're looking to do is not have your conversation basically affect others and have
their conversation affect you.
You want to create that bit of space that bit of buffer.
Rule number two, try not to talk about personal or private topics in a public space especially
those which no one else really wants to hear.
Yeah, so I just go back to the doctor and he said it was contagious.
Yeah, that rash and remember the sores I had with the puss leaking out.
Ugh.
Oh, excuse me.
Sorry, I'm going to grab my food right here.
Do you mind me squeezing by you?
Yeah.
Don't have those conversations and people don't want to know these stuff.
Rule number three, gents, watch your tone when you're on the phone.
You don't want to shout, you don't want to yell, you don't want to use foul language,
you don't want to be screaming into that phone and having an emotional outburst.
It's about respect for other people and making sure, yeah, you may not be able to
change the way you engage with this person, but you could change the situation and when
you choose to actually have these engagements.
Next up, get rid of that obnoxious ringtone.
You know what I'm talking about.
[Fart sound] Me personally, I keep my phone on silent by default.
The next rule, by default, keep the volume of your phone on mute.
So, have you ever this happened.
You're in a library you're in a quiet work space, everyone is deep in their work,
you got some time to kill, you start to surf the web and all of a sudden, all of these
noise is coming from your phone.
Yeah, this is embarrassing.
Everyone is now looking at you.
Guys, let's nip this in the bud.
Keep your phone by default set to mute on volume.
Now, speaking of surfing web, yes, obnoxious sounds are bad, but you know what's worse?
When your information gets hijacked, literally you got someone that comes in your phone and
they actually pull the data off.
Or you actually go to check a site and you're blocked or your information is basically collected
and you're no longer anonymous when you're surfing the web.
Guys, when you're surfing the web from your phone, you want to use a VPN and the paid
sponsor of today's video is ExpressVPN.
This is a great service, guys.
I have installed this on my phone, I have installed it on my computers.
I absolutely love what these guys are doing.
So, what's a VPN?
Guys, in simple terms, it's a secure private anonymous tunnel that protects your information
from prying eyes.
It's not going to be hijacked, you're not going to have hackers coming in.
And, what's really cool if, you know, because I've worked from schools, yes, and they
block let's say YouTube and I need to access YouTube to be able to see what's going on
with my videos.
Well, guess what?
I can use the VPN to just get around that.
And that's what I love, guys.
So, if you're in another country you're traveling, you're using Wi-Fi, yes, that
is not secured and you can have your information stolen, you want to be using a VPN.
So, whey ExpressVPN?
What makes them awesome?
Let me lay it out for you.
They've got VPN locations in over ninety four countries.
Guys, this gives you plenty of options to choose from.
They've got 24/7 customer support, so you can get help whenever you need it.
They've got apps for every device.
We're talking Windows, IOS, Android, Mac, Linux, routers and more.
It's easy to use.
Guys, connect with just one click.
They've got best in class encryption.
We're talking 256 bit AES.
They got browser extensions for Chrome and Firefox.
This is less than $7 a month with a 30-day money back guarantee.
Guys, to check out ExpressVPN and get three months free, use the link down in the description
of today's video.
That's ExpressVPN.com/RMRS.
Again, guys, that's ExpressVPN.com/RMRS for three months free with a one year package.
The next rule, gentlemen, think before you text.
So, you know the advantage of calling somebody is it takes about five to fifteen seconds
to actually get them on the phone.
You got to find their number and you got to dial it in, you got to wait for them to pick
up.
And you've got that time that you can cool down especially if you're emotional.
You got to be careful.
So many people, in fact, they did a study they found that two-thirds of people have
sent a text message that they regretted sending.
So, you've got to be careful.
So, before, gents, you just send off that text, take a step back, breathe, and make
sure that you're not going to regret sending it.
The next rule, gentlemen, ask before you put somebody on speaker phone.
When somebody is having a phone conversation, it's implied that this is a private conversation
between two individuals the vast majority of the time.
So, if you're going to change the dynamic, you need to ask permission.
Now, hold on, guys, really quick.
Are you enjoying this video?
You like it?
Click on that like button.
And if you're new to Real Men Real Style, welcome and join our community by clicking
on that subscribe button and that notification bell, make sure you ring it so that you get
updates when these videos are coming right out.
[0:05:03] Next up, make sure you ask permission before
you share recorded information.
We have this whole record of all this information shared from pictures to texts that we think
are funny and guess what?
We take a snapshot, we share it on social media, we pass it around, but did you ask
permission with the other party that was involved because this could be really embarrassing
for them.
The point is, gentlemen, even with text messages, people assume that there's a bit of privacy
when it's between two people, so be careful when you're sharing that with others, try
to get the permission of the other person involved.
Next up, let's talk about the rules surrounding dropped calls.
So, you don't want to ever blame anyone for a dropped call.
One out of fifty calls actually end because they're dropped some type of technical issue,
but don't ever pass blame on the others and definitely don't get upset.
Don't be a lighthouse.
I'm talking about flashing the light on your phone whether you're just sending out
a text, you're using the flashlight.
Guys, be careful in a dark environment because it ruins it for everybody.
And my advice, gentlemen is to avoid temptation, turn your phone off when you're in the theater
because you don't want to get that buzz going to check and text and all of a sudden,
you're blinding the people next to you.
And, gentlemen, it should go without saying, but never text or talk on your phone while
you're driving.
And, yes, talking on your phone even with a headset is just as distracting as if you
are holding the phone up right here.
Guys, you can only focus on one thing, take care of yourself.
I want you to get where you're going alive and take care of the passengers you're with.
Guys, put the phone down, it can wait.
So now, let's talk about situations.
First off, we've got private conversation.
The phone whether it'd be text or a phone call should never come between you and a person
that you're having a private conversation with.
In general, human beings always rate above what's coming in on this phone.
Next up, let's talk about interaction with strangers specifically you're at the checkout.
What you want to do is not be on the phone and give that person as a human being to another
human being the respect of your full attention.
Show people respect even if they're a stranger by getting off that phone call.
So, now, let's talk about at work.
It really depends on your job and what you do.
If you've got a job and what you have to be there a hundred percent, it's very labor-focused
and you've got a break, then you want to make the call on your break, maybe it's
going to be the lunch hour, but you want to in general not try to take personal calls
during work time.
Next up, we've got meetings.
And like I said the stat is 84% of people view taking a call or even sending a text
during a meeting as a bad sign.
You're not paying attention and that's key.
But, don't try to multi-task because you can't do it.
You're actually just not there at the meeting, you're not present.
Now, what about public transportation?
We're talking buses, trains.
Text, perfectly fine, but phone calls you want to be careful.
You don't want to keep them too long and you want to keep them short, you want to make
sure it's only an important call.
I would prefer to wait until you're out of earshot, you don't want to push your
conversation on other people.
So, what about restaurants?
Really it depends, are you eating alone, are you eating with other people.
If you're eating with other people, it goes back to personal conversations, the phone
does not come out, I would even keep it in your pocket.
You don't want to actually put it up in front of you or even on the table because
that actually creates distance between you and the other person.
Now, if you're alone, yes, you can text, but when it comes to taking phone calls, I
would really try to keep that until you're out of earshot of other people.
So, what about if you're on a car?
Guys, if you're driving, it's easy.
Don't text, don't talk, I want you to get there alive.
But what if you're the passenger?
So, texting is fine, but talking you probably want to get – you want to get the driver's
permission.
Why?
Because it's distracting and also, it kind of isolates the driver.
I personally don't like it when somebody is talking on the phone, we're in there
together, I'd like to have a conversation with them or to have them available for a
conversation.
All right.
So, what about concerts, movies, plays, the theater?
Guys, it really depends on light when it comes to texting.
But, once the performance has started, you've got to give respect to other people.
So, think about noise, you don't want to basically be loud when people are trying to
enjoy the concert, they're trying to listen in on what's going on with the play.
What about religious events?
What about church, mosque, synagogue?
When you are there, it's about showing respect, no texting, no phone calls.
What about the waiting room at the doctor's office?
At the DMV?
Guys, text is perfectly fine, phone calls, keep them short and brief.
Remember the ten-foot rule.
All right, gentlemen.
Now, it's your turn.
I want to hear from you down in the comments.
What did I miss?
I know that there are some things that people do on their phones that you absolutely hate
or maybe you actually like.
Let me know down in the comments, guys, I'll be checking it out.
And go, check out ExpressVPN.
I will link to them down in the description, guys.
Go check them out.
That's ExpressVPN.com/RMRS for three months free with a one year package.
All right, gentlemen.
That's it.
Take care.
I will see you in the next video.

Watch With Tuxedo? Is It Okay? | Black Tie Watch Guide - Duration: 8:17.
There are some men's style topics that really tend to divide people and this is
definitely one of those. What's up, guys? I'm Brian Sacawa, you're watching He
Spoke Style, and today we're talking about whether or not you should wear a
watch with a tuxedo.
[MUSIC]
First, want to tell you this video is presented in partnership with Crown and
Caliber. Crown and Caliber is the number one place to buy and sell pre-owned
luxury watches online. He Spoke Style viewers can save $150 off
their first watch purchase at Crown and Caliber. All you have to do is use code
HSS150. So, wearing a watch with a tuxedo. Some people say it's okay. Some
people say no way. So this is one of those topics in menswear that never
goes away. People have been arguing about it, debating it for a very long time. And
the thing is, as is often the case, there are two sides to the story here. And I
have to say that both sides make some very valid points. So what I'm going to
do is to talk through some of the reasons that are generally given against
wearing a watch with the tuxedo as well as some of those that say wearing a
watch with a tuxedo is totally fine. And by the end of this video you will
definitely know exactly where I stand on this. So there are two popular arguments
against wearing a watch with a tuxedo and the first one is very simple. It's
just that it doesn't look right. And to be perfectly honest with you, I think
that's somewhat of a fair point. A tuxedo is a very simple garment. It's
minimalistic. And it has very clean and elegant lines. And I'd be lying to you if
I didn't say that there have been times that I've put on my own tux, added a
watch and then thought that the watch peeking out from under my shirt cuff and
jacket sleeve just kind of threw the whole thing off balance. Reason number
two is more concerned with etiquette and being a proper gentleman. So the thinking
goes that if you are attending a black tie event, that the event is
obviously being hosted by someone and wearing a watch would signal that you
are concerned with the time, which would then be construed as an insult to the
host. Like, I invited you to this fancy party. Why do you need to know what time
it is? Do you have someplace else to be other than this fancy party that I'm
throwing? So I think both of these arguments are fairly reasonable,
especially if you consider that black tie in its purest form is a pretty
strict and prescriptive dress code. There are those things that definitely need to
be right, like wearing a cummerbund, you have to do that. And there are those
things that you should definitely stay away from. So all those things combined
together sort of make black tie like the ultimate
style troll dress code. But the thing is there is not just one way to do black
tie. There are many different alternatives, like black tie optional,
creative black tie, and I would even throw cocktail attire into that mix.
So with all those variations, it only makes sense to me that some people would
entertain wearing a watch with a tuxedo. But for the ultimate, definitive, answer
of all answers to the question should you wear a watch with black tie, I think
it is appropriate to consult the man who literally wrote the book on men's style.
Of course, I'm talking about Alan Flusser. So, submitted for your approval, this
relevant passage from Mr. Flusser's Dressing The Man: Mastering the Art of
Permanent Fashion. And it reads: Simplicity should govern the choice of
jewelry for formalwear. Studs and matching cuff links can be made of plain
gold, black enamel, or semi-precious stone. Mother-of-Pearl, also handsome, is
perhaps more appropriate for white tie. Fine sets of studs and matching cuff
links can be found in antique shops that specialize in old jewelry. The most
interesting examples are those made between 1890 and 1930. You might also
look for a gold pocket watch and chain. If you choose to wear a wristwatch,
remember that the thinner the watch, the more tasteful it is. Black bands are
recommended. So, mic drop. I'm certainly not going to
argue with Alan Flusser. And the thing I want to point out most from that quote
is that he does not have any sort of aversion to wearing a watch with a
tuxedo. Again, and I cannot stress this enough, it's that the rules of style are
guidelines. I have always been a proponent of whenever a rule of style is
invoked, that I turn to the one rule which I consider to be the golden rule of
style, which is that if it looks right and it feels right to you, then it is
right. You know, you can know the quote, unquote "rules" better than anyone
else. You can read more books on men's style than everyone else. But the thing
is that book smarts and what works in theory does not always translate into a
real world success. You know, there's something to be said about going by feel
instead of making a decision based on what you've been told you should or
should not do. Alright, so I've laid all my cards on the
table. Obviously, I think it's fine to wear a watch with a tuxedo, but it
needs to be the right watch. Now, what is the right watch to wear with a
tuxedo? For me, there are a few criteria. Number one: it should be time-only. Number
two: I think a watch with a tuxedo should be in either yellow or rose gold.
Three: it should have a leather strap, preferably black, as Mr. Flusser
recommends. And finally, the watch should be on the thinner side. Now, what are the
best specific watches to wear with a tuxedo? Here are five of my picks. First, I
have to go with the watch that I wore with my wedding tuxedo. Obviously, not a
very economical option, but one of the most beautiful formal watches in the
entire world. This is the Vacheron Constantin Historiques Ultra-Fine 1955. A
very classic and elegant 36 millimeter case size. A thickness of just over four
millimeters. Black alligator strap. And a beautiful gold movement visible through
a display caseback. This watch is pure beauty in its simplicity and one of the
most elegant watches that could be worn with a tuxedo. Next, is a simple and
beautiful watch from one of my all-time favorite brands this is the A. Lange &
Söhne Saxonia Thin. It's a time only watch. There is a pink gold example, though it
also comes in white gold. Dial is silver. Case size, 37 millimeters. And 5.9
millimeters thick. The pink gold version does come with a brown alligator strap,
though that is easily swapped out for a black strap if you wanted to wear it
with a tuxedo. Next, an all-time classic. The Cartier
Tank Solo. Again, this is a time-only watch. Case size is thirty-four point
eight by twenty-seven point four millimeters. It is five point five
millimeters thick. This watch has a quartz movement, which means that it's
going to cost a lot less than an automatic movement. So if you are looking
for a classic, timeless, and very versatile watch in pink gold at a fairly
reasonable price point, I would definitely put the Cartier Tank Solo at
the top of your list. Next watch is another very, very simple, and classic
time-only watch from Vacheron Constantin. This is the Patrimony. Now, at
40 millimeters, it is on the larger side compared to the previous three, but you
know, for some people, 35 to 37 millimeters will feel a little too small
on the wrist. This is, again of course, an investment piece that would definitely
become an heirloom the family. My final pick is the Patek
Philippe Calatrava. So, do not assume that because it is a Patek Philippe that the
price is going to be completely out of reach. I have seen pre-owned Calatravas
in great condition for as low as five thousand dollars. This watch is very old
school in terms of size. The newest version is 36 millimeters, though the
older ones that you'll see frequently on the pre-owned market generally are
around 33 millimeters. This watch does have a small seconds indicator, which
would seemingly disqualify it from my tuxedo watch criteria, but you know, you
really cannot argue with the elegance of the Patek Philippe Calatrava. I will put
pricing information for all the watches mentioned in this video as well as links
to some of the watches that I think are very fine choices from Crown and Caliber.
Reminder, once again, that He Spoke Style viewers can save $150 off their first
watch purchase from Crown and Caliber with code HSS150. So having watched this
video and heard both sides of the argument, I want to know what you guys
think. Is it okay to wear a watch with a tuxedo? Leave your comments below.

What Is Scalebound? A Switch Owner's Guide + Surprising Wii Origins - Duration: 8:02.
Scalebound, developed by Platinum Games and published by Microsoft, was announced at E3
2014 exclusively for the Xbox One.
Two and a half years later, Microsoft pulled the plug and outright cancelled the game in
January 2017.
And that should've been the end of it.
But if recent rumors are true then it might not be and Scalebound could return.
According to rumors that have been flying around, Nintendo saved the project and Platinum
Games is currently working to put the game on the Switch.
Now there's no concrete evidence that this is happening, but if it does, Scalebound is
a game you might want to pay attention to.
So join us as we look at the history of Scalebound's development and why it might be worth picking
up if it does indeed come to the Switch.
While Scalebound wasn't officially revealed until 2014, the idea of the game has been
around as long as Platinum Games itself.
In a 2015 interview, Gamespot spoke with the director, Hideki Kamiya, about its origins
where he revealed that the idea of Scalebound was one of first ideas that Platinum Games
put forward.
The team was brainstorming ideas on what to work on and though the concept of Scalebound
was suggested, the company ultimately decided to develop Bayonetta first.
However Scalebound wasn't completely shelved.
Some work was done during Bayonetta's development in order to create a pitch of what the game
could be, potentially making it their next release.
Players would take the role of a young girl who had the ability to control dinosaurs,
not dragons.
And this would all be done with motion controls on the Nintendo Wii--yep, this project was
originally envisioned for Nintendo Hardware, so the Switch is almost too fitting.
But even Kamiya admitted that this version needed work and was ultimately shelved while
they finished Bayonetta.
Once Bayonetta was completed, Platinum returned to the idea and created a prototype with one
major change.
Dragons!
Which was something of a dream come true for Kamiya as he always wanted to create a fantasy
game featuring the mystical creatures.
But as the concept was being refined, he also realized that he didn't want to just be
watching the action, he wanted to have an active role.
Something that wasn't entirely possible with a little girl as the protagonist.
So the decision was made to change the girl into a swordsman or someone a bit older.
Unfortunately this prototype was never able to find a publisher causing the game to be
shelved yet again while they worked on The Wonderful 101 for the Wii U.
Once The Wonderful 101 shipped, Platinum put together a refined pitch of Scalebound for
Microsoft who ended up being interested in the project.
So in 2013 development of the game began in earnest.
However because of the new idea of having the human play a more active role in combat
this meant that they would essentially have two lead characters, one human and one dragon.
Ultimately, the problem was tackled by having the story focus on Drew while the gameplay
centered around his dragon partner, Thuban.
So Thuban would be able to be customized extensively while Drew could not, something better seen
in the E3 2016 gameplay trailer with the other dragons having drastically different designs
while the Drews only had different weapons.
Scalebound was officially revealed to the public at Microsoft's E3 2014 conference
with a cinematic trailer that showed off Drew and Thuban teaming up to take down a giant
creature.
It was only a taste of the ideas that Platinum had, but it did introduce Drew as a contrast
with the rest of the fantasy setting as he came from the modern world.
This is probably best signified by his headphones, which he puts on during the more intense fights
with monsters.
He also has access to a dragon hybrid transformation that temporarily increases his power.
Comparisons to Dante from Devil May Cry were also rampant and never really went away whenever
it was previewed, but Platinum never changed Drew's design.
While Scalebound didn't make an appearance at E3 2015, it did have a playable demo at
that year's Gamescom.
Here a pre-Alpha build was available to try which introduced what the gameplay would really
be like.
Drew and Thuban are always together as their lives are bound.
If one dies, so does the other.
Fortunately, Drew has the ability to heal his buddy thanks to his dragon arm, which
also had a few other gameplay uses like scanning enemies or unleashing energy.
However, Thuban couldn't be directly controlled by players at all times.
Instead, its AI would assist during combat until specific commands were given like targeting
certain enemies.
It was possible though for Drew to form a temporary mental link with Thuban.
This would switch gameplay to a first person perspective and allow the player to control
him directly.
But this would also leave Drew completely motionless and open to enemy attacks.
Unlike many other Platinum games, the world was very much non-linear although Thuban couldn't
actually be ridden until later in the game.
Drew could equip several different weapons which broke over time though there was no
crafting system.
In many ways it was similar to what Breath of the Wild would do in that they had to constantly
scavenge for new equipment.
The game showed promise, but the action never seemed as refined as their previous titles
though this is gameplay from a pre-Alpha build.
That said, combat wasn't Platinum's primary focus with Scalebound.
While they promised it would be up to the standards fans had come to expect, the more
realistic graphics and world-building were how they were making it stand out from their
previous games.
And there was also the multiplayer element.
This was shown as early as the reveal trailer, teasing that four players could work together.
But it wasn't fully shown off until Scalebound's E3 2016 presentation which featured an updated
take on the gameplay, specifically four players teaming with their dragons and each other
in order to take down a massive boss.
It was a promising showcase though not without its concerns as many worried that it lacked
the usual Platinum polish.
So the fact that it was delayed from its 2016 release date was no surprise.
What was a surprise was its outright cancellation on January 9th 2017.
Before this was officially announced, reports had started to circulate that Scalebound was
in trouble and Platinum had even stopped actively working on the game before the end of 2016.
Eurogamer even reported a rumor that Microsoft made the decision due to issues surrounding
the game's engine and overdue deadlines.
But later in 2017, Xbox Division Head Phil Spencer had an interview with the Japanese
site, Gamewatch, where he stated that the real reason the game was ultimately cancelled
had stemmed from announcing Scalebound too early.
This created pressure on the team, influenced development, and raised other hurdles.
As a result, both Microsoft and Platinum doubted that the game could offer what fans wanted
and ultimately it was decided to end development.
Whether or not this was the real reason, we can't say.
What we do know is that the cancellation of Scalebound along with the twin duds of Star
Fox Zero and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan nearly spelled the end
for Platinum.
It's only thanks to the breakout hit, Nier: Automata, launching a few weeks later that
the company ultimately survived.
And that's why the possibility of Scalebound finding its way to the Nintendo Switch is
so fascinating.
This is a game that's tied to the history of Platinum, a dream for Hideki Kamiya, and
an odd connection to Nintendo's past.
Even if this rumor is true, it's unlikely that Scalebound will play exactly as it did
before--after all, it was cancelled for a reason.
Aspects might be scaled back and the multiplayer may even be dropped.
Or it could even be doubled down upon in order to create a defining game for Nintendo Switch
Online, at least for those who haven't caught Tetris fever anyway.
It must also be said that Platinum Games already has quite the line-up for the Switch thanks
to both Bayonetta 3 and Astral Chain.
So whether this Scalebound rumor is true or not, Platinum is definitely supporting the
system in a big way.
Now, we just have to wait and see what happens next.
Thanks for watching and be sure to subscribe to GameXplain for more on Platinum and other
things gaming as well.

THE MONITOR ANTHEM BOSS GUIDE FINAL BOSS HEART OF RAGE - Duration: 7:55.
Howdy folks, today I'm going to go over how to defeat the Monitor boss, I wish to avoid
as many spoilers as possible here, so won't be going into any of the story and will just
stick to the mechanics.
This is a long and fairly tough fight, it has 3 phases, kinda 4, but im starting from
when you enter the arena itself.
In the first phase the Monitor is actually somewhat easy once you know what's going on.
Here does 3 main ranged attacks, and some lethal melee ranged.
He will summon a floating ball of fire beside every player which after a second will explode
dealing a lot of damage.
You need to always be ready for this and as soon as he casts it, double jump to escape
the blast radius.
You can tell he is casting them easily most of the time as he holds his fist up in the
air to summon them and then throws it down to make them explode, though it sometimes
appears to be bugged and doesnt do the animation, this could be do to freezing affects slowing
his movements which interrupt the animation this attack appears to have a 15 second cooldown.
His second attack is to Summon Meteors, multiple circles with a meteor core will appear around
the arena, these circles will grow to be huge and take up most of the arena floor, once
they reach full size which takes 10 seconds, the core will explode dealing huge damage
to anyone in the circle.
They will overlap so can kill you if you take enough shots.
This attack appears to have a 30 second cooldown.
His 3rd ranged attack is a charge of sorts, where he will jump high up and land with a
hugely lethal melee downward swing.
It is very easy once you get used to it to avoid this one, you can see him brace to jump,
at which point, his target location is locked, so you can just double jump to the side or
even toward his former location and avoid most if not all damage.
If you are too close, he will perform a lethal hit pounding his weapon into the ground where
you stand or swipe for large range infront of him.
As for dealing damage to him, he, as expected does have weak points, they are easy to indentify,
yet small.
You can tell them via a sort of fel flame looking fire that escapes the areas.
They will appear around his waste and in phase 2, the back of his head.
Ammunition is a huge deal in this fight, you will run out often as there are no adds for
most of it, so hit the weak points for increased damage and ammunition efficiency and be sure
to use your gear on cooldown, it's unlimited ammo is a godsend in this fight.
Once the Monitor reaches 75% health, he will stop taking damage, so save your ammo when
it starts showing zero and he will then teleport out.
At this point, you need to very quickly follow him down a small pipe on the opposite side
of the arena to the Cenotaph, if you don't you will die very quickly.
Through this pipe is a lava filled gorge, so be careful as you may have to stop along
the way, so be mindful of a place to land to cooldown.
Follow it through and youll come to a new arena.
This is Phase 2.
In phase 2, the arena you are in has 5 platforms,
Between these platforms is a shallow acid pool, you can stand in it up to you ankles
and still do all you stuff, but itll give you an Acid damage DoT, DoT means Damage over
Time, So avoid this acid wherever possible.
Every 45 second the boss will summon an add in the center of every platform, these adds
are fairly weak, but have a ranged acid shot attack and will explode for large acid damage
if they reach you.
On normal, this damage is fine to almost ignore, I would advise to keep moving, ignore the
adds and youll just take the ocassional hit, but it can mostly be avoided, if youre quick
enough, you can avoid the adds explosion and the ranged only really comes into play when
flying at which point just fly with evasive maneuvering and youll be fine.
On Hard mode, I would imagine this will hit too hard for most, so have 2 stay on the boss
while 2 others focus adds might be a good play.
The boss will also periodically summon acid balls like the fire in the last phase that
will explode and leave an acid dot on you, so as with the fiery ones, jump out of the
way.
Generally, this entire fight is a lot easier if you just constantly keep moving.
When no one is within melee range, he will use a ranged acid stogun style attack that
does very high damage and leave an acid patch and a dot on you, avoidable, but you need
to be quick.
He will periodically teleport around the room, where he goes seems random and not anything
to do with where the players are, he can also do it upto every 15 seconds, but doesn't always
do it.
In this phase his weak points are all there, his hips and back of the head are ready to
be obliterated, though the hip weak points will go after so much punishment, and the
back of the head appears to do a little more damage.
Ammunition and health is a little more readily available in this phase due to the adds, but
still be conscious of your levels and locations of the drops.
Once you have the boss down to 50% health, he will switch to phase 3 and once again dissapear.
This time doesn't appear to one shot you if you are slow, but either way its back to the
original arena through the pipes and gorge.
Phase 3 is the last phase and it is brutal, ammunition is rarer than ever and the attacks
come in super fast.
Firstly, the return of the floating balls, this time, the element theme is electricity,
so as before, be sure to dodge them as soon as they appear.
If you have an electrical debuff from being hit, be sure not to be close to a teammate
or you will zap them, it is best practice to spread throughout this whole fight regardless
due to the explosive balls.
The boss will summon giant electrical pulses just about constantly, theyll go off every
second or 2 and will often overlap, these do huge damage, so keep an eye out for them
and either fly over or double jump over them, a single jump will sometimes be enough but
require the most perfect of timing, so a double jump is best.
These circles will expand quickly as a pulse eminating from a single point, the circular
wave will expand to almost the size of the arena, but are rarely in the middle, so one
from the other side of the arena, may not reach you and dissipate allowing you to keep
firing.
Periodically he will throw his weapon to another point in the arena and teleport to it, dont
be there when he does.
If no one is within melee range, he will shoot fast small lightning balls to everyone and
they hurt a lot and are difficult to dodge.
At melee range he will do the traditional ground stab with his when to try and obliterate
you as well as a swipe.
You will notice that around the arena are a few shield looking orbs with a golden energy
core.
They look like shields, but they are not, they are effectively super powered permanent
muster points.
From my testing they appear to double weapon damage, at least on the weak spot anyway,
though do not increase Ultimate Damage.
There are 4 of them, so one for each party member, 2 of them are suspended in the air
while 2 are on the ground.
There was never a point where all 4 of us were in them at the same time, So I can't
say whether that would do anything.
They are a tad of a mystery to be honest, but the most likely outcome is a weapon damage
increase, if not, I am just a far better shot inside them.
It was in this phase that his hip weak points returned, I theorise this could be refreshed
when you enter a new segment of the bosses health, as it was around that time, but I
cannot be sure.
At 25% health, the boss will dissapear and you have won, congratulations.
Now, I am a curious fellow and so did this boss fight via joining anothers stronghold
run at the beginning of this fight, I did this at level 12, we wiped after the first
phase, everyone but me left and 3 others quickly joined, we had a swap out during, but it was
fun and took an hour to down it.
I expect if you know what you are doing it will take far less, some appear to do it in
20 minutes, you should also be above level 12.
Now, brief spoiler alert here, but after I searched online and found out that this is
apparently the final boss of the last stronghold, why in god's name you can join that when you
haven't reached a stronghold yourself without joining others is beyond me, but anywho, it
was fun.
And that is about it folks, I wish you luck in your fight against the mighty Monitor and
many loots be upon you!
