7-Day Trip from Tokyo to Kyoto: Episode 3 | japan-guide.com - Duration: 10:22.
In this three-part series we are taking a seven-day six-night trip from Tokyo to Kyoto,
but not by the usual route along the Pacific coast known as the "Golden Route", which
most tourists take.
Instead we are traveling through Japan's "New Golden Route" which delves into the
country's rural interior, continues along the beautiful Sea of Japan coast, and finishes
in Kyoto.
A great way to travel along this New Golden Route is using the Hokuriku Arch Pass, a seven-day
pass exclusively available to overseas tourists that allows for unlimited use of all the JR
Lines shown on this map, including the Hokuriku Shinkansen.
In episode one we made our way from Tokyo to the Snow Monkeys before episode two saw
us traveling along the Sea of Japan coast, through Kurobe gorge and to the mountain town
of Takayama.
Now in this third and final episode, we spend the last three days exploring an historic
city, beautiful countryside spots and an old merchant town before reaching our final destination:
Kyoto.
So join me, Sam Evans, as we travel from Tokyo to Kyoto along Japan's New Golden Route.
Day 5
Here's the plan: We wake up in Takayama, where we will spend the morning at one of
its popular morning markets.
We then head to Kanazawa, where we'll have a lunch and visit the famous Kenrokuen Garden,
before staying the night at a traditional Japanese ryokan.
So we've arrived this morning at one of Takayama's two morning markets.
Now these morning markets that are open daily sell a selection of crafts, local vegetables
and street food.
I'm starving, so let's go and get breakfast.
We then head over to Toyama via the Takayama Line, before taking the Hokuriku Shinkansen
to Kanazawa.
From Kanazawa Station we make the 15 minute walk to Omicho Market.
We've just arrived in Kanazawa and first of all we're gonna get some local cuisine
for lunch and following that we're gonna take a trip to Kenrokuen, one of the three
most beautiful gardens in all of Japan.
Let's go!
Two of the things Kanazawa is most famous for are its incredible seafood and gold leaf.
Now this restaurant that we are in today in Omicho Market combines the two and it looks
absolutely delicious.
We're here in Kenrokuen, a garden that was made for the enjoyment of the local lord who
in the feudal era was the second richest in all of Japan after the Shogun.
Today this garden is opened to the public
and stands at Kanazawa's number one tourist attraction.
Following our exploration of Kenrokuen,
we make the short walk to our accommodation for the night.
I'm currently enjoying a course dinner of Kanazawa haute cuisine accompanied by some
delicious local sake.
After this it's off to bed because we've got a big day tomorrow.
Kanpai.
Day 6
We leave Kanazawa behind and head on to Fukui Prefecture, where we'll partake in a Kimono
wearing experience and visit Maruoka Castle.
After a morning of kimono fun, we head to the Hakusan Heisenji Shrine before making
our way to Shiga Prefecture and the town of Omi Hachiman,
where our day will come to an end.
We take the Hokuriku main line from Kanazawa to Awara Onsen station, before taking a bus
to Maruoka Castle, where we will make the short walk to the kimono rental shop.
We have arrived at Maruoka Castle, one of only twelve in Japan whose keep has survived
since the feudal era.
From Maruoka Castle we take a bus to Eiheijiguchi Station and then board a train all the way
to Katsuyama Station, from where a taxi will take us to the Hakusan Heisenji Shrine.
We've just arrived at Hakusan Heisenji Shrine and this place is well known for the moss,
which as you can see covers a lot of the shrine grounds.
Now the atmosphere in this place is just absolutely serene, so let's go and check it out.
To end our day of exploration we take a train back through the countryside from Katsuyama
to Fukui, where we board a limited express train to Maibara before heading to Omihachiman
via a special rapid train.
The ryokan we will be staying at is around 30 minutes' walk from the station, or around
ten minutes by taxi.
So we've made it to the end of Day 6 of this incredible journey from Tokyo to Kyoto.
And tomorrow we've got yet another amazing day planned.
But I think for now it's time for a little bit of relaxation
before getting a good night's sleep.
Day 7
For the last day of our trip, we start with a boat ride along the Omihachiman canal, after
which we'll explore the old merchant district and indulge in a local delicacy for lunch.
Following that it's off to the final stop of our journey: Kyoto's Fushimi Inari Shrine.
So the canal that we are sailing on this morning was made by the local lord some centuries
ago and later it contributed heavily to Omi Hachiman's ascendency as a commercial hub.
Only a few minutes away from where the boat ride docks is Shinmachi-dori Street, along
which many historic buildings have been well-preserved.
So we're here at a restaurant inside the old merchant district and this restaurant
specializes in Omi Beef, the local delicacy.
Today we're going to eat it Sukiyaki Style and the way you do that is by cooking the
beef in this broth before having it with a little bit of raw egg.
It looks delicious and I cannot wait to dig in.
Back at Omi Hachiman Station, we take a 35-minute train ride to Kyoto, where we take the Nara
Line a couple of stops to Inari Station.
So we finally made it to our last destination on this 7 day tour from Tokyo to Kyoto, and
what better way to end a trip like this than at Kyoto's fantastic Fushimi Inari shrine.
And that concludes our amazing adventure along Japan's New Golden Route.

Making Meaningful Connections with Community Guide and Engagement Services - Duration: 6:05.
-------------------------------------------
Step by Step Guide to Starting Vegetable Transplants - Duration: 2:56.
on this week's 2 minute tip how do we get from seeds to this so we've done a
couple two-minute tips in the greenhouse in the past on the right kind of seed
starting mix to use and how we fertilize those seed starts but today I want to
take you step by step through the entire seed starting process so we start off
with our seed start and tray here these are our heavy-duty seed starting trays
that you can't bend or break they're built to last a lifetime
and each of these trays has a hundred and sixty two cells inside of it so
we've got our pro mix seed starting mix here and the first thing we want to do
is go ahead and fill this entire tray with soil so the easiest way to do this
is just a dump a bunch of soil on top of this tray and then use your hands to
kind of smooth it out break up this clumps you want to kind of pack it in
there in each of the cells just make sure all the cells are filled with soil
this stuff can take up and absorb a lot of water initially so we want to go
ahead and get it wet before we put our dibbles in there before we plant our
seeds so what I like to do is kind of wet it wait a minute or two wet it again
do this two or three times and to the soil inside those cells is nice and wet
and saturated the next thing we want to do is make some dibbles in these cells
to put our seats now keep in mind when you're making a Dibble or a hole for
your seed to go into that you typically only want to plant seeds twice as deep
as the diameter of the seed I've got my broccoli seed right here now I'm just
going to go and put the seeds in the cells now I usually try to get only one
seed per sale but if you get two it's not a big deal once those plants come up
you can always thin them out later and now the next thing to do is to put a
light covering or what we call it dusting over these seeds we don't want
to put a ton of soil on top of them because we want the seeds to be started
at the right depth so what I like to do is take a cup and fill it up with the
same seed starting mix but while I'm filling up this cup I grind it up in my
hands I want it real fine I don't want big clumps in this dusting that I'm
about to do and then I just lightly just cover this up here so you don't need to
turn a soil on there at all just that light dusting will be all you need and
then all we need to do is water this in we put our label on the side of the tray
right there and there you have it seed starting from start to finish really
simple really easy with the right tools and the right seed starting mix and then
a few weeks time we'll have some nice transplants like this guy right here
that are ready to go in the ground hope you enjoyed this week's 2 minute tip
we'll see you next week

DALI, CHINA has EVERYTHING! - Exploring the BEAUTIFUL Ancient City | Yunnan Travel Guide - Duration: 5:26.
In China, you quickly learn to expect the unexpected.
Standing side by side with ancient history and beautiful nature is another side.
A side full of live music, locally brewed craft beers, street art and insta-worthy coffee shops.
Nope, this is not Shoreditch or Camden.
This is all within the ancient city walls of Dali in Yunnan province, China.
A city full of contrasts.
So we've just arrived in Dali and on first impressions, it's probably the cutest town
we've been to so far.
Full of loads of really cool bars and cafes, I can't wait to explore! Dali is one of
the most popular tourist destinations in the whole of Yunnan and for good reason.
It's unique and historic streets make it a place that you just can't stop taking
photos of.
Even the McDonald's and the rubbish bins look cool.
The ancient town of Dali is surrounded by city walls and this is the North Gate.
This is the West Gate.
That's the East Gate.
And this is the South Gate.
You could spend days and days looking around all of the art shops and eating from all of
the street food markets and restaurants.
But Dali is not just about the ancient town.
So it's day 2 in Dali and we're heading to the Three Pagodas.
The Three Pagodas of the Chongsheng Temple date back to the 9th century.
According to local legend, Dali used to be overrun by dragons and the pagodas were put
in place to stop them from causing natural disasters.
From the central pagoda you can get an amazing view of Lake Erhai, which is a massive lake
just outside the ancient town.
It's the second largest lake in Yunnan province after the lake thats in Kunming called Dianchi.
Facts here on the One Shot Adventures channel!
If you walk past the Three Pagodas and up the stairs you get to this bell tower and
the views from here are amazing as well.
There is a main long path that leads up to the pagodas, to the bell tower and beyond.
But there's loads of little side passages too with some nice gardens, so its worth getting
off the path and exploring those too.
A daily occurrence that I haven't actually
mentioned yet is that we normally get stopped by people at least once a day so they can
take photos with us.
Some people in China are very excited to see westerners and this lady here wanted a photo
with every single member of her family.
Honestly we were standing there for about 10 minutes!
Turns out we're more exciting than the Three Pagodas.
The Two Pagodas right here!
So back on the bikes now and we're heading down to the lake.
As Emma mentioned before, Lake Ehai is one of the biggest lakes in the province and it's
definitely one of the most beautiful that we've seen.
To this day, the lake is an important source of fish for locals.
I really wish we had more time in our trip to see some more of the lake, but we had a
mountain to climb…
Literally.
It's day three in Dali and we're heading up Canshan mountain in this very small cable
car.
We took the Gangtong Cable car up to the Quingbi waterfall area.
So once you get out of the cable car, there's essentially just a set circuit.
You go across a bridge and then there's sort of a little pond with a Buddha in it,
and then you head further up and you can see this waterfall which is quite nice.
Then if you head even further up there this viewing platform which has a pretty good view.
But its all very busy and there's just people everywhere, so it's very hard to get close
to anything.
We followed the signs to the giant chess board and from there there's a sign to the celebrity
forest.
I don't really know what that was, but if you keep following the steps down you get
to this amazing stream and this great bridge which is awesome for photos.
Quieter, peaceful, just the sound of the water.
Epic.
To me, Dali encapsulates all of the beautiful contrasts that make China such an interesting
place to travel.
Whether it's live music, cool coffee shops, beautiful nature or ancient history, you never
quite know whats around the corner.
And with that, very sadly its the end of our time here in Dali.
So tomorrow, we are getting the train to Lijiang, which is also very exciting.
So see you then!
Thank you so much for watching this video guys, as always please make sure you leave
a like on this video and subscribe to the channel and I'll see you next week!

FALLOUT 76 Base Building Tutorial (Fallout 76 Starters Guide Base Building ) - Duration: 5:50.
hi guys and welcome back this is my top tips for getting started in building and
fallout 76 know we've been streaming a lot of building and follow 76 rather
than exploding with stream all the building when a bitters are open you're
more welcome to come and join see what we're doing and see what we're finding
no these are the best things I have found to give to you some of the sort of
freshers it's not so much tips but things you may have forgotten since 404
and things that were found with the new concept of Belden and follow 76 so they
said some of you may already know some may be new but if it helps anyone at all
and it served its purpose so I strung strand know start with the basics for
anyone that hasn't seen less as your camp you pick this up from fallout 76
when you leave and you can place it anywhere on the map apart from monuments
let's all allow you to create a bailed zone and allow you to build your base
very simple to use you just drop it from your pet boy and just start building
from there you can pick this up save your basic blueprint and drop it
off anywhere else on the maps you don't have to sit in one place when you place
your door you have to actually put a lock on it as well something I don't
actually do for the fast like day for beta didn't realize but you have to put
a grid of lock on there are no less grid dictates the lock pick ability for
another player to get into your base so make sure you have the right resources
to get a higher level a lock back for your main doors I don't know how big
that so factor and the whole online world or fallout but something to be
remained for definite now like most people I built a small base to start
with put roof on and neglected the fact that
when I built up I had to put floors and instead this is critical as you build up
your base you need floors and each level don't use the roofs because it will
cause issues later on you'll be able to put stairs and etc to get up so key
thing is if you're moving your base upwards make sure you change any roofs
from the Reginald belt and change it for floors this will save you a lot of time
later on and a lot of frustration now in selecting the location for your
base try and find meaning or areas let's all pay off Devlin's and late in med
game you can actually put harvesters and talk of these and these will produce
iron and copper these are going to our phone so far but then maybe more this
will help you get all the resources you need to upgrade your base as you find
the blueprints for the better walls foundations and rifts no
protecting your base is key and turrets is the best way to do this now I like to
conceal my turrets we did find that you can't put half wall drops you can only
put them in the second half wall and lock them in that way however they're
very key no these actually saved me when I was building on stream they killed a
couple of federal girls haven't tested on players yet we've done it have any
players on the other base but an imagine if someone as a horsetail player it will
attack them as well trailers may tell us you can outside as a presence so people
can see and know not to come to your base but also inside so if they do get
on you without added extra protection and side if you make a mistake your base
or don't like the way it looks don't panic you can modify your base you
can even scrap some of the walls you've already gotten place change up for new
ones you won't get the same value that you spend but you all get scrap but no
this is key especially if you want to expand your base if you start June or
loving as a group and already have a good sport don't feel you have to
restart all again you can store all the materials and your camp and just rebuild
to how you want your base to look no no your first base is not going to be very
big so blsm main do not make a massive footprint this is the first base I have
a belt I get it small and ample for what I need because I know I can expand on it
don't make a huge footprint and feel to actually secure the base because if
other players are there you having a stash box down they can get the scrap
and some of the items from that area if you struggled Fame would do not panic
you can pack up wood from the floor very easy to get we
in two hours about quite a large base consider the tighten behind for the beta
so guys the final type of goal as location you have to have your base in a
good location by this I mean you need to make sure as an area where you can still
get resources because the monuments but in the same fold make sure you're not in
an area with a I that's higher than you if you have a federal girls close by her
level 10 and your level 5 the area might be great however you're gonna get cocked
every time to make sure the AI and the area has the same level of zero or below
or it's just a bit difficult you know waste ammunition a bit pain also look
for the iron reserves and the corporate reserves as well as I said before they
are quite critical for methylate game if you want to upgrade your base so guys
these are my quick tips if you ever get any other tips you would put in comments
below we'll try and get part two of this but stolen in the game and finding new
things I'll be streaming again the more base Beldon it's mostly gonna be
baseball and on the channel but we'll do a little guides as well so by all means
subscribe keep up-to-date all the streams will be posting as voids joining
that's called the push turn it as well with some arm done as notifications but
they're all put and desk corners notifications so you can keep up to date
with them all so guys thanks for stopping by and I'll catch you in the
next one

Camp Chores, Why Do Them? - Red Dead Redemption 2 - Camp Guide - Duration: 3:39.
Hello ladies and gentlemen, my name is Andrew and welcome to a camp guide for Red Dead Redemption 2 in this guide
I'm going to be showing you where you can find camp chores how to do them and why you should do them as well
so first
You're gonna look on the radar you're going to notice that there's some black dots that
Kind of seem a little odd some people think they're a little bit of a bug
But this is actually part of the game these indicate chores and you can do them daily in game
They're simple and quick. So let's take a look over here. You'll find two. Hay bales
These are used to feed the horses once you pick it up
You'll notice that there'll be some yellow X's on the radar. Which tell you where to take it. You can go to either one
So you can go to the one on the right or you can go to the one on the left
It doesn't really matter as long as you take one to the right one and one to the left one
You're pretty much doing the chores
As Well as you could be now
Once you get to the corresponding area you're gonna place it down
You'll notice that once you do on the right side of the screen, you will gain honour and your Dead eye stat will increase as well
There we go now we're gonna go back for the second hay bale and just repeat the process now over here
You'll notice the firewood. This one's pretty simple. What you have to do is just literally chop firewood
Choppy chop. Now. If you head over to these wagons here, you'll find two food sacks
These are for Pearson and they work pretty much the same as the hay bales
You'll have 2 to deliver and they'll be yellow X's that tell you where to bring them again
There's no specific
Spot that you have to put them you can put it at any
Yellow X first as long as you put both of them in that corresponding area now over here
There should be a bucket that you can pick up again
This is similar to the hay bales
One thing you have to note is that the position of these buckets will vary in
Camps and the methods will vary as well in the first camp. Alls you had to do is pick up the bucket
It was already prefilled and you just poured it into the washbasin
In this camp we have to head over to the river
Fill it up and then we'll pour it into a wash basin there should only be one for this
So don't you don't have to worry about figuring out where it goes again
It's going to be marked by a yellow X pretty much all the chores you do will tell you where you have to go
Okay, once that's done. You've pretty much done or your chores
Now you can go and play one thing. You need to note though
is that
Sometimes if you don't see the black dots on the radar
There's a reason for that and that's that one of your gang members might have done the chore already
Sometimes you might even go to a chore and see that one of the gang members is doing it
I've found on some occasions that I've seen John Marston
Chopping wood and I've seen some some of them carrying the hay bales around once in a while
You'll see them carrying the sacks around you might even see them carrying in the bucket
So there is a certain time frame that you have to do them if you leave them for too long
The other gang members will start doing them. So don't fret if you can't find them
It doesn't mean that your game is necessarily bugged. It just means that a gang members done them for you
You don't have to do this every time
I'd suggest doing it occasionally because it helps with your honour and it helps with your stats as well. So it's worth doing it
It's just not worth grinding it so don't stress too much
It's just something you kind of do you just take it in just chill
It's a change of pace from all the killing and stuff that you're doing in the game
Anyways, thank you guys so much for watching

Digital Style Guide - Duration: 1:01.
We all know that style guides are vital to maintaining a cohesive real estate
brand image. However as technology advances and video
becomes the new norm, traditional style guides are
no longer sufficient to maintain a consistent brand image.
Your agency may have a comprehensive style guide, but this can still be left open to
interpretation when it comes to digital use
- such as property videos and market update videos.
Inconsistent digital marketing can lead to assumptions about inconsistent service from
those in your marketplace.
This can be avoided by implementing digital parameters for your style guide, including
items such as lower thirds, how text appears on screen, the size of logos and the style
of statistics. It is also important to think about the backing
music as it can determine the tone of the video.
To really get the most out of digital parameters for your style guide, I recommend presenting
them in video format to ensure there is no room for interpretation,
keeping your brand consistent across all platforms.

Contribution Box & Ledger - Red Dead Redemption 2 - Camp Guide - Duration: 3:41.
Hello ladies and gentlemen, my name is Andrew and welcome to a camp guide for Red Dead Redemption 2. In this guide
I'm gonna be showing you how the contribution box and ledger works in a little bit more detail. So if we approach the
Contribution box and the ledger over here, first thing you want to note in the top right over there is your supply levels
red equals bad
white equals okay and
Yellow equals full. Why they chose to use this colour scheme? I don't know
the second thing you need to note is that the first row of money is your camp funds and the second row of money is
Your own cash. Now the contribution box is almost self-explanatory
Anything you donate here increases honour, you can donate valuable items which is things like watches
jewelry
Anything that you would pretty much fence like this particular
Buckle over here. You can donate money directly if you like
I think you do need to donate a minimum amount before it will actually count honour
I have tried donating a couple cents to see if it would do anything but it didn't really seem to I think the minimum is
Like 20 cents, maybe a dollar
I don't fully know. Delaying contributions is also a bad idea because it will lead to annoyed gang members now
The ledger is a tiny bit more complicated. On the first page, you'll notice that there is a contribution log
This is great to actually see what funds are coming out of the camp. And what funds are coming out of your own pocket
Otherwise, it's not really of that much use to be honest on the next page. You'll see the upgrades for wagons
The bottom left will explain all the benefits so I'm not going to go into too much detail there
I would highly recommend that you don't upgrade these right away, though
because if you do each upgrade actually increases the price of restocking and
That will be problematic if you're if you're not
really strapped for cash you won't be able to afford to resupply so you notice if you look at the
Medicine wagon normally it would cost $12 if you don't upgrade it now costs $60
So keep that in mind if you are planning on upgrading these, I would recommend not doing it right away
restocking is just a quicker way to
resupply the items without you having to
Donate them and sometimes it can even work out cheap in the donating these items directly now in the next page
We're gonna see lodging upgrades
these are upgrades that benefit the camp primarily and
Will generally change just the way that your gang members contribute
It doesn't really have a major effect on
Arthur per se you do need to upgrade one before you can upgrade the other though on the next page will find camp
Upgrades now these have more of a benefit for Arthur and primarily just Arthur not really anyone else
You'll notice that there's a horse station and this will allow you to recall
Horses or change your horse then you've got your leather working tools
Which will allow you to craft new satchels and cosmetic upgrades for the camp and then you've got a boat which will allow you to
Basically go out into the lake and have a fish pay attention to the camp funds though
There's something you need to note is that any ledger purchases uses the Cape's funds first and then your cash second
So be careful that you don't accidentally use your own money. I haven't seen honour increase using the ledger
so keep that in mind as well and that's pretty much it for the
Contribution box and the camp ledger. If you enjoyed this video, please let me know in the comments down below. I'd like to
Thank you guys for watching and please don't forget to subscribe and visit the channel
I have a wider variety of videos on there as well. And as usual ladies and gentlemen, I will see you in the next video

The Essential Guide to Wills - Duration: 10:38.
Hi everyone and welcome to our webinar – The Essential Guide to Wills in Queensland.
This will be the first in a series of five webinars on succession law in Queensland,
in which we will also cover off on powers of attorney, estate administration, probate
and contesting a will.
Our presenter today is Alex Prior who is our succession law expert at Forge Legal.
Alex, why have you decided to do a series on succession law – and why are we starting
off with wills?
Thanks Kate.
There are many areas of law which most of us will only need to engage with very rarely
and in very specific sets of circumstances – for instance, where the negligence of
another person causes an injury or where a marriage breaks down.
Some of us are lucky enough to pass through life without ever having to engage with these
areas of our legal system.
One area of law that each and every one of us must consider and engage with, however,
is that of Wills and Estates – in fact, to do so is to ensure that our hard-earned
assets, built up over the course of a lifetime are protected, and our loved ones are provided
for.
No matter who you are, at what stage of life you find yourself, or how wealthy or otherwise
you may be, if you live in Queensland, the following will apply:
1) You need a Will; 2) You need an Enduring Power of Attorney
and 3) At some stage, it is likely that you will
act as executor for a deceased estate.
Okay well we'll start off simple then.
What is a Will?
In very basic terms, a Will is a legal document which allows the Testator – that's you,
the person making the Will – to set out how you wish for your assets to be distributed
upon your death.
It is important to distinguish a Will from an Enduring Power of Attorney, which allows
you to appoint somebody to make decisions on your behalf while you are still alive.
The key point to remember is that a Will only comes into effect once you have passed away.
So does everybody need a will or are there certain circumstances where it won't be
necessary?
The too long didn't read answer to that question is yes!
Everybody needs a will!
There is nothing as simple and effective as a Will when it comes to protecting your assets
and your loved ones.
As an estate lawyer, I frequently come across situations where the absence of a Will results
in the assets of a deceased being distributed in a radically different way than the deceased
and their family would have contemplated.
This can mean either loved ones going without and having to radically re-evaluate their
lifestyles or the stress of a costly, bitter and lengthy family provision claim.
So if I haven't been diligent and put a will in place and I pass away
what happens?
If you die in Queensland without having a valid Will in place, the way in which your
assets will be distributed is determined by the Provisions of Intestacy.
This refers to a 'one-size-fits-all' set of rules determined by the state government
as to how the assets of a person who dies without a Will are to be divided up.
As everyone's personal and family circumstances are unique, by definition the way in which
this 'one-size-fits-all' set of rules operates can often be very surprising to people
who are unware of it, and more sadly still, to their loved ones after they pass on.
For instance, most people instinctively believe that their surviving spouse would receive
the entirety of their estate.
Surprisingly, this is not the case.
In fact, a surviving spouse may receive as little as $150,000 plus one third of the remainder
of the estate.
In some circumstances, the intestacy provisions can see a deceased estate distributed to aunts
and uncles.
With respect to the many excellent aunts and uncles of Australia, this might not be where
most people expect their estates to end up going.
Worse still, there are situations where the entirety of a deceased estate may go to the
state government, in precedence to a good friend or carer for example.
I think it's fair to say that this idea would be horrifying to a good proportion of
Queenslanders!
Add to this the fact that the state government could amend the existing intestacy provisions
at any time by simple passage of legislation.
So I've often heard the word executor come up when we're talking about wills and estates
but I'm still not entirely sure what it means.
Could you explain this?
The first thing that most Wills specify is who is to act as executor (or executors) of
the estate.
An executor is the person who will apply for a grant of probate, 'collect in' the assets
of the estate, pay out the estate's liabilities and distribute the remainder to the beneficiaries
in accordance with the Will.
The executor may also need to maintain and invest estate assets so as to preserve their
value, particularly in circumstances where the entitlement of a beneficiary does not
vest until a certain age is attained. Usually 18 or 21.
Given the nature of these responsibilities, it is imperative that only people who you
trust implicitly are appointed as executors.
These are usually close family members, but can also be professionals such as solicitors
or accountants, who may charge a fee to be paid out of the estate.
You can appoint multiple persons to act jointly as executors (although we suggest no more
than two).
Importantly, we always suggest that an alternate executor is appointed for circumstances where
your first choice predeceases you.
Okay so I guess the other important question is, how can I choose to divide my estate?
Well you could give it all to me! But in all seriousness
The first thing to consider is probably whether you wish to give any specific
items or sums of money to any specific people – for instance, an engagement ring to a
relative or $10,000 to a close friend.
Not everyone chooses to make specific gifts under their Will, but they can be particularly
relevant in circumstances where an item may have special sentimental value to a certain
beneficiary.
The most important clause in any Will is the residuary clause.
This is the clause which specifies how the residuary of estate (that is, everything that
remains after the liabilities have been paid and any specific gifts have been made) is
to be divided.
This can incorporate a number of 'tiers', whereby the residuary can go to a certain
person (for instance, a spouse) if that person survives, or otherwise to another person or
class of persons (for instance, children or grandchildren).
At Forge Legal, we can draft residuary clauses such that the ongoing evolution of 'classes'
of persons such as children or grandchildren is taken into account.
That way, if a member of the class dies or a new member is born, there is no need to
make a new Will.
We can also incorporate trust provisions into a Will, such that estate assets or funds can
be controlled by a trustee and gradually distributed for the benefit of a beneficiary, or invested
by a trustee until a beneficiary reaches a certain age.
That's great to know. Is there anything else that I can put in my will?
Definitely.
Aside from their principal function of specifying how assets are to be distributed, Wills often
contain statements as to the Testator's intentions in relation to a number of other
issues.
Often, parents will specify a person who they wish to act as guardian of their minor children
upon the passing of themselves and the other parent.
Another common addition are statements of wishes as to funeral, burial or cremation
arrangements.
These could be as simple as a statement that such matters should be determined by the executor
or go into detail around the conduct of the ceremony or the location of a memorial.
Whilst such statements are non-binding, they are a powerful expression of the Testator's
wishes and are often given serious weight and consideration.
Okay.
So it's pretty obvious that a will is important if I want to protect my assets and the people that I love
But how can I put a valid Will in place? Well the good news is is never too soon to make your Will.
At Forge Legal, we make the process streamlined and simple, and we draft Wills in such a way
that unnecessary amendments later on may be avoided.
The laws relating to the validity of Wills in Queensland are stringent and complex.
There are countless issues which could render a Will invalid or a contest of a Will successful.
The following are a non-exhaustive selection of examples:
1) Taking apart, hand-amending, marking, re-stapling or improperly binding the document;
2) Not complying properly with the requirements for the witnessing of the Will's execution
or using a beneficiary as a witness; and
3) Not having sufficient notes or documentation relating to the mental capacity of the Testator
at the time the Will was made.
It is imperative that you have an experienced solicitor assist in making your Will.
There are simply too many formal requirements (and too much at stake for your family) to
risk doing it yourself.
At Forge Legal, when we draft a Will, our first priority is to ensure that you have
a valid Will which will mitigate against any challenge on the grounds of mental incapacity,
formal requirements not being met, or allegations of insufficient provision being made to certain
relatives or dependants.
Wills are a big part of what we do, so we can immediately identify any risks which might
apply, and make sure those risks are mitigated against.
We make it easy, so just head to our online Will instruction form – we've got a copy
of the link on the screen for your now - submit the form, and we will contact you to arrange
an appointment to discuss your detailed wishes and circumstances, and arrange for your new
Will to be executed and your hard-earned wealth are protected.
That sounds pretty simple.
I think I might get mine done today so I have peace of mind for the future.
Thanks for the information Alex.
Thanks Kate – and remember to join us for the next instalment in this webinar series,
which will be all about another document which everyone should have - Powers of Attorney.

Camp Tour - Red Dead Redemption 2 - Camp Guide - Duration: 6:06.
Hello ladies and gentlemen, my name is Andrew and welcome to a camp guide for Red Dead Redemption 2 in this guide
I'm just gonna be taking a quick tour around the camp just so you can get an idea of where everything is and what everything
Might do so over here. We have Arthur's lodgings. This is pretty much where Arthur kinda lives in the camp obviously here
You've got your bed, which can be used for sleeping and advancing time then over here
We have our table it isn't really that much to be honest. The gang members will leave rewards here
once you've helped them with any of the camp item requests, and that's usually
Displayed by a little white dot that's their over here. We have our wardrobe which can be used for changing outfits
And then we have our shaving kit over here, which can obviously be used for shaving
Then if we come around here
Do a little bit of an angry walk
We can find the ammo wagon, which is pretty much where all the ammo supplies will be now
Just a little tip whenever you're picking things up in general. You don't actually have to press square or X all the time if
Arthur needs it. You can just hold Square or hold X and he'll pick up anything that's within range
If we come over here
We'll find the fast travel map now
This is an upgrade that you have to purchase, but it'll let you fast travel to any areas that you have unlocked in the game
Over here, we should find the
All right, Molly. I'm kind of in the middle of something over here. We'll find the contribution box in the ledger
the contribution box is where you can donate items or money and the ledger is where you can purchase upgrades or
supplies for the camp
I'm just going to expand the radar a little bit now
If you look on the map, you might notice that there's some black dots that are kind of phasing in
These black dots will indicate chores that you can do around the camp
They will help with your honour level as well as increasing
Arthur's Deadeye stat now if we come over here to see where these ladies are all obviously working very hard
You'll see
Gosh the interruptions my goodness now, this is the camp cooking fire
This is where Pearson will prepare a camp's stew every 1 in game day at noon
Once you've eaten it, you'll have to wait about 24 minutes before you can eat it again or before it respawns
it'll basically refill all your cores and
Will even boost them for you. So you notice that one of them is yellow. I think it does boost the heart
I can't really remember.
Tilly: "What are you doin there Arthur?"
I'm giving a tutorial. I'm giving a tour around the camp Tilly now over here you
*interrupted* Good Lord over here. We have the coffee pot which I don't know if many people know about it
But you can drink it and that'll help boost your dead eye core or it'll refill your dead eye core
over here
We have the provisions wagon any meats or any items and stuff that you've donated to Pearson will pretty much be
Converted into stuff that you can take like this bread roll
I think you can find some meats and canned foods that he'll he'll make yes a canned fruit, but also over here you will find
Pearson he's kind of like the camp I guess merchant in a sense
You can donate provisions
You can craft your satchel upgrades and you can even craft cosmetics to decorate the camp
Now if we start heading over towards this arch icon over here this here is your horse station
This is another camp upgrade that has to be purchased. But what it does is it lets you switch
Different horses or it lets you retrieve a horse that you might have left somewhere else over here
We have the medical wagon pretty much the same as the ammo supplies
this is where you can find all the medical supplies and tonics and that sort of stuff and even
Alcohol by the looks of it. So that's pretty much it for stuff that you can
sort of find in general
But the most important thing that I want to point out is the time-sensitive missions because the game doesn't actively tell you
That if you don't do them, you can miss out on them. It's missions like this one here. So for leopold strauss or
Missions for Keiran here. They're all
indicated by a white circle or white circle icons
Do them as soon as possible because they cannot
cannot be redone after you've moved the camp to a different spot and
The game doesn't tell you when you're moving the camp that you haven't done those specific missions
Kind of a little bit of an oversight from Rockstar
But I kind of understand why they did it
Adds a little bit of realism gives you that
Sort of feeling that there is a chance that you can actually miss out on some vital stuff in this game
I mean, it's not that vital to the narrative, but it's got its own little story that you can kind of follow
Also, you might notice that at certain times of the day. You probably want to see it now because it's only about 8 a.m
In the morning, but at certain times you might find activities spread out around the camp in different spots
you might find one at this table and it might be something like poker or
Dominoes you might want find one at the other table over there
you might also notice on occasion that there'll be a little random white question mark in the camp usually near the
Wagons over here that I'm looking at. That's usually a
companion
Chat thing so you can sort of have a little bit of a chat with your companions. It's not really that important
Mainly just Arthur having a bit of a Yap with them
But that's it. That's pretty much the tour around the camp
I'm gonna have a more detailed video something a bit more in-depth focusing a little bit more on the in-depth
Aspects of the camp primarily like the ledger and I think working with the Wardrobe as well
So if you do want to see that video stay tuned for that. Don't forget to subscribe and visit the channel
I have a variety of videos on there as well. If you like this video, let me know in the comments down below
Thank you very much for watching and as usual ladies and gentlemen, I will see you in the next video

A Beginner's Guide to Google Drive | How to access and use features - Duration: 8:07.
hey everyone this is just a quick guide
of Google Drive just a general how to get around and maybe look at some of the
features that you might not have been aware of before so let's get started
okay firstly let's look at how to access Google Drive now there's actually a few
ways that you can kind of get into your Google Drive storage area
the most common way or I find the most easiest way is if you're already using
Google Chrome when you want to create a new tab it generally gives you this blank
space and at the top right hand corner there's this grid of squares if you
click that and even when I hover over it says Google Apps so if I click that one
I should be able to access so I can access Google Docs and my email, my Gmail
but here you'll see that there's Google Drive now depending on what kinds of
applications from Google you use you can actually rearrange these things so let's
say if I use slides more often I might put it there and I use mail there you
kind of can reorder it to your preferences and frequency of use so
so that's getting to Google Drive okay so another, I guess feature or great
advantage when it comes to Google Drive is its integration with Gmail so if I
just open up my email right here
I've sent myself a picture of a dog now if I go into the email here and I can see
the picture of the dog there's this little button here and it allows me to
save directly to my drive so in doing so it's been added to my drive but I want
to access it we can obviously go here as well if you're on Gmail and press Drive
the next kind of feature is more specific to Google Docs so if I just
create a new Google Doc
there's a few things that we can do here let's just name that first
so with this Google Doc I can actually share it as a button to share
and at the moment it says private only to me here's where I can write the
email address of whoever I want to send it to so I'm going to choose my
personal email and I can add a note too and this button here if you think it
will notify the person of this email saying that I've sent permission for you
to edit this document this button here allows me to change the permissions so
if I just wanted this other person to view only I could change that or I could
give them full permissions and allow them to edit the document so I can send it now
if you go back to that share button I'll
just show you something in addition so let's say you've shared this with a few
people and you're wanting to kind of organize the permissions that you've
given out if we click this button here 'advanced' you can see that I am owner
here and then this other person has permissions to edit and I can change that
so that's just a great way of just organizing all collaborators for the document
okay so here I have a document on dogs and you can see it's quite you
know messy because I've just chucked all the data from Wikipedia basically
straight into this document let's say I'm collaborating with someone and I
want to kind of make comments on this document before they edit it I can do so
by highlighting and then pressing this add a comment button
and so here I'm going to say I can write my comment so I can say hey can you please tidy this
bit up and then it'll kind of stick there you can also assign people to particular
areas so if I wanted this section to be edited by another person I can write plus
we can assign it and that area is now assigned to that other person
another cool feature, within Google Docs is this little star now if you're working
on something and you want to be able to find it easily the star is a great way
to allow you to find it so what you do is go back to your drive and you can go
to your starred and it'll appear right here
in addition right next to it you have this little file icon that allows you to
move it in to whatever folder you want to so you remember when we created it it
was just in the general area the general my drive area this area this little file
icon allows you to move it in to whatever folder depending on how you
want to organize that
so the great thing about Google Docs is it's kind of
autosave function so everything is automatically saved to the cloud
it progressively saves versions of your document as you're working on it
so this allows you to go back and retrieve all the versions if you'd like
so you can see the last edit was three hours ago so you can actually
click that and you can see the different versions that occurred and when these
edits were made and if you want to revert to another version you can just
restore this version can go back to here and restore something that happened in
the 2nd of October at 1:51 p.m.
with Google Docs again you have the option of
creating templates so you can start a Google Doc from a template
and this will give you some options that they've pre-made that you can use you can also
create your own so you can submit a template and upload that that gives you
a little bit more flexibility or more customization
to set it up like you would potentially in word though there are some
limitations and it probably won't be the same won't have the same kind of
customized ability as you would with word but it's another
alternative to setting something up setting a document template up that you
want to regularly use when collaborating with others
you can also access Google
Drive on your phone but all you have to do is you'll have to do download the
Google Drive app your app should look something like this so if we go into the
app so here's the Google Drive everything that was on my computer is
now on my phone and I can add a new document from here as well and it'll
save to the same cloud storage area for me to access on my phone or my computer
so that's all we have today for our quick overview of Google Drive hopefully that
was helpful for you and if you have any questions please don't hesitate to get
in contact with us, see ya
