Like in many big cities around the world, one of the best and cheapest ways to move around is the underground.
It's been operating since the late 60s.
It was a response to the rapidly growing local population increasing demand for cheap and efficient local transport.
The best way to travel is on an Octopus card.
It's rechargeable, you can fill up your deposit though you can start with a single one-way at a 0,50 Euro cent charge.
You'll a maze when you exit the underground. Every exit has been labelled with a letter.
Check your exit on the board which exit to take, you'll get lost otherwise.

Hong Kong has been ranking in the top 5 most frequently visited cities in the world for years.
Understandably so, there's just so much to do around here.
There's the historical China-feel...
...next to a completely different sensation here on Central Island...
...there's tax-free shopping though take into account prices here tend to be higher than most places in Europe.
You can reach the beach by bus in around 20 minutes from here.
Which gets you to Repulse Bay.
Note how busy Sunday's are, which is today.
I remember I came here before on a Monday and it looked totally different, abandoned almost.
You'll notice busses dropping of Chinese tourists every 10 to 15 minutes.
They arrive from "mainland China" to see a beach for the first time in their lives.
Kind of cute. Running towards the beach, grab their selfie stick, take a few funny pics and be out of here.
If you have some more time head out Shek-O...
...certainly when the weather is nice. It's a much nicer beach than Repulse Bay
It really matters where you are in the city.
I wanna show you 3 completely different parts of Hong Kong.
The first stop is Mongkok.
Chaos! Which isn't strange at all when you realize it packs 130.000 people on every square kilometre.
It's the most densely populated area on earth.
Just walk around and enjoy the staggering views.
Don't forget Flower Market...
...and souvenirs.
I would though... its a bit sad.
Second Stop: Tsim Sha Tsui.
Wow. What if these were your children's names.
It's always packed in this part of Hong Kong, the most southernly located part of Kowloon Island.
In terms of feel its somewhere between Mongkok and Central Island.
Especially at nights it gets busy in the boulevards.
Providing a fantastic and scenic view over Central Hong Kong with this brilliant daily illumination at 8 pm.
3rd stop is Central Island. The cities business district.
Recognised by the high rise structures...
...expensive shopping...
...take a side road though and you'll find yourself immersed in a Chinese market. So funny.
Evening entertainment can be done too here at Lan Kwai Fond, also known as LKF.
Packed every night of the week and a great vibe.
So much to do in Hong Kong and if all you have are a few days you'll need to make choices.
I picked 2 things for today both on Lantau Island.
The first stop is at one of the biggest Buddha's in the world, the other is an old fishing village.
Take the metro all the way to it's final stop, Tung Chung.
There's a cable car service with a see through floor. And I'm afraid of heights! All for a great shot!!
When you exit the cable car you'll immediately step into some sort of tourist attraction.
This is the big Buddha, rising to 34 metres high. One of the biggest buddha statues in the world.
You can go up, 270 steps. Good luck and don't forget to bring a bottle of water with you.
From here I'll be taking the bus to the fishers village of Tai O. The bus stops every 20 minutes.
This will get you to Tai O, an authentic little fishers village.
That said, it's a popular with tourists nowadays.
There are lots of fishers houses on raised wooden structures.
My advice is to walk on to the places where the people live, much more authentic.
The not to be missed place when you're here, the highest spot at Hong Kong Island, Victoria Peak.
An 1888 tram takes you to the top, all very nice but you're not going to be only one.
It will get you your money's worth though, at the top you'll arrive in a proper theme part...
...with restaurants, shops and adventure rides.
The scenic view being the most important destination.
It's just that today wasn't the best of days to go here.
On a sunny day you can expect this, thanks to Google ;-)
People live in very close proximity in high rises like these.
So are they out of space?
Well, sort of. 40% of Hong Kong is covered by Parks and protected nature.
Best known are Kowloon Park and right here Hong Kong Park.

California Voter Guide (Nov 6, 2018) - Proposition 3 - Duration: 4:55.
proposition three was put on the ballot by petition signatures if passed by
voters in this election this proposition would allow the state to sell about
eight point nine billion dollars in new general obligation bonds for various
water and environmental projects the proposed funds would be used in carrying
out six categories of programs which include about a hundred subcategories
and special projects these six broad categories include the following
watershed lands 2.5 billion dollars this category funds projects to improve the
conditions of watershed lands which include forests meadows wetlands and
areas near rivers funded projects must protect or improve the supply and
quality of the water that comes from these lands many of these projects would
also have environmental benefits such as improving habitat for fish and wildlife
or reducing the risk of forest fires this funding category includes about 50
subcategories with special requirements including that certain amounts be spent
in specific areas of the state for example the proposition provides 250
million dollars for the forests in the Sierra Nevada mountains and 200 million
dollars for the Salton Sea in Southern California water supply 2.1 billion
dollars this funding is for projects that will increase the amount of water
available for people to use this includes money for collecting and
cleaning up rainwater five hundred fifty million dollars cleaning up drinking
water five hundred million dollars and recycling wastewater four hundred
million dollars the proposition also provides funding for water conservation
activities that decrease how much water people use this could include paying
some of the costs for people to install low-flow toilets or replace their lawns
with plants that use less water fish and wildlife habitat 1.4 billion dollars
this category funds projects who improve fish and wildlife habitat
types of projects could include increasing the amount of water that
flows to a wetland or River as well as buying undeveloped land to keep it in a
natural state the proposition targets some of the funding for projects to help
certain species including native fish in the Central Valley four hundred million
dollars salmon and steelhead trout 300 million dollars and migratory birds two
hundred and eighty million dollars water facility upgrades 1.2 billion dollars
this funding is for four specific projects to improve the availability of
water in certain areas of the state these projects include one repairing the
federally owned Madeira and Friant current canal in the Central Valley to
building canals and other types of projects that connect local reservoirs
and communities in the San Francisco Bay region three repairing the state-owned
Orville dam in Butte County and for planning changes for the North Bay
aqueduct that serves Solano and Napa counties groundwater
1.1 billion dollars this category funds projects related to groundwater storage
to make sure groundwater will be available in future years this includes
activities to clean up groundwater by removing salts to make it more usable
funding will also be used for projects that help water to soak back into the
ground so that it can be used in the future this is known as groundwater
recharge flood protection 500 million dollars this funding is for projects
that reduce the risk from floods these projects could include expanding flood
plains which provide areas where flood water can spread without causing much
harm and repairing reservoirs some of these projects would provide other
benefits such as improving fish and wildlife habitat increasing water
supplies and improving recreational opportunities some of this funding is
for projects and specific areas of the state including the Central Valley and
the San Francisco Bay Area
we estimate that the cost of taxpayers to repay this bond with total seventeen
point three billion dollars to pay off both principle eight point nine billion
and interest eight point four billion this would result in average cost of
about four hundred and thirty million dollars annually over the next forty
years this amount is about one third of one percent of the state's current
general fund budget

BOM Weather Guide: Heatwaves - Duration: 2:06.
A heatwave is when the maximum and the minimum temperature is unusually hot
over a three-day period, for the location that we're looking at.
That's considered in relation to the local climate, but also into the recent past.
Heatwaves are classified in three ways: there's the low-intensity heatwave, the severe intensity heatwave
and the extreme intensity heatwave. And those are coloured so that we can
raise people's awareness of the rising intensity of heatwaves.
A low-intensity heatwave is something that we expect people to see most of the time during summer,
so the majority of people are likely to have little problems with those heatwaves.
Severe heatwaves are less frequent and are likely to be more
challenging for the elderly, particularly if they have pre-existing medical conditions.
Extreme heatwaves are quite rare and they can affect the reliability
of infrastructure such as power and transport. Extreme heatwaves are a
problem for people who don't take precautions to keep cool.
Even the healthy are at risk. People who work or exercise outdoors are particularly vulnerable.
In heatwaves, the hot nights are possibly much more
important than the hot days. The inability to recover from the heat of
the day puts much more stress on the body. We need to remember that the impact
of severe and extreme heatwaves can be very serious, so listen to the emergency services
and health authorities, who can guide us on how we should respond to heatwaves.
The Bureau of Meteorology provides a heatwave service that runs
from November until the end of March. The maps provided in this service show the
location and intensity of recent heatwaves, and any forecast heatwaves for the next seven days.
Advance notice of severe and extreme heatwaves gives the emergency services,
health authorities and the community the opportunity to prepare and
reduce the level of impact on people, business and industry.

Step by Step Guide to Starting Vegetable Transplants - Duration: 2:56.
on this week's 2 minute tip how do we get from seeds to this so we've done a
couple two-minute tips in the greenhouse in the past on the right kind of seed
starting mix to use and how we fertilize those seed starts but today I want to
take you step by step through the entire seed starting process so we start off
with our seed start and tray here these are our heavy-duty seed starting trays
that you can't bend or break they're built to last a lifetime
and each of these trays has a hundred and sixty two cells inside of it so
we've got our pro mix seed starting mix here and the first thing we want to do
is go ahead and fill this entire tray with soil so the easiest way to do this
is just a dump a bunch of soil on top of this tray and then use your hands to
kind of smooth it out break up this clumps you want to kind of pack it in
there in each of the cells just make sure all the cells are filled with soil
this stuff can take up and absorb a lot of water initially so we want to go
ahead and get it wet before we put our dibbles in there before we plant our
seeds so what I like to do is kind of wet it wait a minute or two wet it again
do this two or three times and to the soil inside those cells is nice and wet
and saturated the next thing we want to do is make some dibbles in these cells
to put our seats now keep in mind when you're making a Dibble or a hole for
your seed to go into that you typically only want to plant seeds twice as deep
as the diameter of the seed I've got my broccoli seed right here now I'm just
going to go and put the seeds in the cells now I usually try to get only one
seed per sale but if you get two it's not a big deal once those plants come up
you can always thin them out later and now the next thing to do is to put a
light covering or what we call it dusting over these seeds we don't want
to put a ton of soil on top of them because we want the seeds to be started
at the right depth so what I like to do is take a cup and fill it up with the
same seed starting mix but while I'm filling up this cup I grind it up in my
hands I want it real fine I don't want big clumps in this dusting that I'm
about to do and then I just lightly just cover this up here so you don't need to
turn a soil on there at all just that light dusting will be all you need and
then all we need to do is water this in we put our label on the side of the tray
right there and there you have it seed starting from start to finish really
simple really easy with the right tools and the right seed starting mix and then
a few weeks time we'll have some nice transplants like this guy right here

bought for the world trip so if you're planning to go on a trip by car or by
camper this might be an interesting video for you now let me be clear this
is just some of the stuff we bought we need a lot more so if you have any good

starting off with this bad boy it's the Coleman unleaded two burner
stove this is going to be our main cooking unit now the reason we bought
this is because it runs on gasoline unleaded gasoline people have even used
diesel but if you ask me it will work with everything that's flammable but
unleaded gasoline is better because it gives a cleaner burn and it doesn't
leave too much crap inside the burner unit now gasoline is something you can
easily get your hands on during the world trip so for us it's much easier
instead of using for example those little propane canisters and even if we
run out of gasoline we have plenty of diesel with us because that's the
favorite drink of our Land Rover
What's inside the package?

like that there it is
just put it right there are two pieces of cardboard to protect stove.. all right
and that's it compact piece of metal all right underneath the lid is
is the stove itself of course first you have the windshields or as Coleman calls them the
wind block system mm-hmm they help she'll be burners from wind and they are
adjustable for various pan sizes underneath this bracket you have the
instructions for use and you also get -what's this- it's the... Aha it's a
little fuel filter
there you have it's just a little filter as you can see... Handy.
Not quite sure if I'm going to use it
And.. last but not least the fuel tank this
container will hold about a little bit more than two liters and according to
Coleman you can use both burners on high and it will last for two hours so that's
pretty impressive you can fit two large 25 centimeter pans on this stove so
that's plenty of room and according to the box you can boil 1 liter of water
within 4 minutes but that's probably when the conditions are perfect but
still it's pretty quick this complete unit weighs about four and a half
kilograms right that's the cooking unit
to save weight we bought these aluminum
pots and pans they are easily stackable it looks like this and if you want you
can even put some extra cooking equipment inside alright so let's open
up for the box you can get these everywhere by the way but these look
like this alright so you have a lid but this is not only a lid because it's a
small one what that is I know what that is
look it's not only a lid for the pan but it's also a look let's see a frying pan
so you get a large frying pan a smaller one well a little smaller one okay and
you have this and this one and this one so that's enough and I'm guessing that
you can use this to like stacks or pots to keep your food nice and warm and in
the end what you do is right so you stop you just think that one and you stack
this one and this one on top but as I mentioned before so you can see there is
still a lot of space left for some extra equipment okay so the complete set
weighs 879 grams oh wait final number is 880 grams okay
ugly tableware this is a set for 4 persons but it was much cheaper than a
set for 2 persons so this is all plastic
and it's ugly and the one and as I told you it's a set for four persons there it
is okay so I'm not quite sure if I'm going to tag along all this table where
I guess we can leave these two at home and maybe two of these smaller plates
and maybe two of these plastic mugs cuz I'm guessing I'm going to bring
along some real glasses made of real glass
because whatever somehow you put in these plastic mugs it all tastes like
plastic so you put coca-cola inside tastes like plastic you put milk inside
mmm tastes like plastic you put beer inside tastes like beer no plastic so
but this is pretty lightweight so this is coming along as well all right
ugly tableware this handy little device is a headlamp
now before we bought this one we did a lot of research online while Henriette
did most of the research so she should get all the credits but in the end that
was really satisfied with the Petzl octa-core it's brand new but I already
opened the package because I was curious so this is the headlamp the main reason
I bought this one is because it has three lighting modes the five lumens
which will give you about a 7 meter output you have the 100 lumens that will
give you a 50 meter output and last but not least the 350 lumens which will give
you a output of 95 meters what I also like about this one is that it has a red
light mode so when you're going to read a book at
night the red light is really easy on the eyes and the last thing I really
like about this one is that it has a let me see if I can take it out yes there it
is it has a rechargeable battery but you
can also use three three people a batteries so what's really nice about
this battery is that it's a charger as well so you plug in your cable and
you're done a more collapsible stuff first of all it's a foldable washbasin
looks like this but too much hmm doesn't see guessing about ten liters something
like that but Andy look and if you are done ready to go right so in the other
folding thing always handy-dandy yeah is a water container which is
foldable as well this doesn't work because of course there needs to be
water inside but well you get it look so if you have to carry around water oh you
can use this one and this is 15 liters so maybe this is 50 liters as well hmm
don't know oh wait it says 8.5 liters who's counting alright this this is some
of the emergency stuff first we have the first aid kit this is the
care plus first aid kit it's the adventurer Edition which makes sense
because we're going on a adventure it contains a lot of stuff like all sorts
of bandages there are even clean needles inside
clean needles because why would they put dirty needles inside and there's even a
scalpel when things get really serious I guess but this is just a basic first-aid
kit we're going to add some extra stuff for example these skin closure strips
these are really handy dandy I can speak from experience
they look like this and you use these to close up small cuts they work really
well so I'm going to bring these along as well we have some emergency blankets
these will protect you from cold against cold and heat so two of these and of
course some stuff to repel the little critters like ticks and mosquitoes you
just spray this all over your body and it will work for about eight hours
against mosquitoes and for hours against ticks hmm so this is going to protect us
I hope and last but not least and let me repeat myself this is just some of the
stuff we're going to bring along we have the oral rehydration sole we'll give you
all the stuff you need after you've been sick like glucose and salts and stuff
like that so hoping we'll never have to use these but in case of emergency we
got it now here's a protip this is a travel sheet which is an
extremely lightweight sleeping bag liner which basically is a piece of cotton you
sleep in but it's really nice if it's hot outside or when you unexpectedly
need to sleep in a hotel that looks more like a prison and the last person who
slept on your mattress so buy one of these they're really cheap
now talking about a good night rest I want to show you the last thing we
bought this is a this is a really decent sleeping bag it's a two-person sleeping
bag and as you can see it says we will survive a pretty cold night this is what
it looks like it's a pretty big sleeping bag that will definitely fit two persons
and what I also like about this sleeping bag is that they created this zipper and
now it is impossible to get the fabric stuck in between the zipper itself which
always happens with sleeping bags but not with this one as you can see so that
is a invention I really like so this is our sleeping bag

DALI, CHINA has EVERYTHING! - Exploring the BEAUTIFUL Ancient City | Yunnan Travel Guide - Duration: 5:26.
In China, you quickly learn to expect the unexpected.
Standing side by side with ancient history and beautiful nature is another side.
A side full of live music, locally brewed craft beers, street art and insta-worthy coffee shops.
Nope, this is not Shoreditch or Camden.
This is all within the ancient city walls of Dali in Yunnan province, China.
A city full of contrasts.
So we've just arrived in Dali and on first impressions, it's probably the cutest town
we've been to so far.
Full of loads of really cool bars and cafes, I can't wait to explore! Dali is one of
the most popular tourist destinations in the whole of Yunnan and for good reason.
It's unique and historic streets make it a place that you just can't stop taking
photos of.
Even the McDonald's and the rubbish bins look cool.
The ancient town of Dali is surrounded by city walls and this is the North Gate.
This is the West Gate.
That's the East Gate.
And this is the South Gate.
You could spend days and days looking around all of the art shops and eating from all of
the street food markets and restaurants.
But Dali is not just about the ancient town.
So it's day 2 in Dali and we're heading to the Three Pagodas.
The Three Pagodas of the Chongsheng Temple date back to the 9th century.
According to local legend, Dali used to be overrun by dragons and the pagodas were put
in place to stop them from causing natural disasters.
From the central pagoda you can get an amazing view of Lake Erhai, which is a massive lake
just outside the ancient town.
It's the second largest lake in Yunnan province after the lake thats in Kunming called Dianchi.

If you walk past the Three Pagodas and up the stairs you get to this bell tower and
the views from here are amazing as well.
There is a main long path that leads up to the pagodas, to the bell tower and beyond.
But there's loads of little side passages too with some nice gardens, so its worth getting
off the path and exploring those too.
A daily occurrence that I haven't actually
mentioned yet is that we normally get stopped by people at least once a day so they can
take photos with us.
Some people in China are very excited to see westerners and this lady here wanted a photo
with every single member of her family.
Honestly we were standing there for about 10 minutes!
Turns out we're more exciting than the Three Pagodas.
The Two Pagodas right here!
So back on the bikes now and we're heading down to the lake.
As Emma mentioned before, Lake Ehai is one of the biggest lakes in the province and it's
definitely one of the most beautiful that we've seen.
To this day, the lake is an important source of fish for locals.
I really wish we had more time in our trip to see some more of the lake, but we had a
mountain to climb…
Literally.
It's day three in Dali and we're heading up Canshan mountain in this very small cable
car.
We took the Gangtong Cable car up to the Quingbi waterfall area.
So once you get out of the cable car, there's essentially just a set circuit.
You go across a bridge and then there's sort of a little pond with a Buddha in it,
and then you head further up and you can see this waterfall which is quite nice.
Then if you head even further up there this viewing platform which has a pretty good view.
But its all very busy and there's just people everywhere, so it's very hard to get close
to anything.
We followed the signs to the giant chess board and from there there's a sign to the celebrity
forest.
I don't really know what that was, but if you keep following the steps down you get
to this amazing stream and this great bridge which is awesome for photos.
Quieter, peaceful, just the sound of the water.
Epic.
To me, Dali encapsulates all of the beautiful contrasts that make China such an interesting
place to travel.
Whether it's live music, cool coffee shops, beautiful nature or ancient history, you never
quite know whats around the corner.
And with that, very sadly its the end of our time here in Dali.
So tomorrow, we are getting the train to Lijiang, which is also very exciting.

7-Day Trip from Tokyo to Kyoto: Episode 3 | japan-guide.com - Duration: 10:22.
In this three-part series we are taking a seven-day six-night trip from Tokyo to Kyoto,
but not by the usual route along the Pacific coast known as the "Golden Route", which
most tourists take.
Instead we are traveling through Japan's "New Golden Route" which delves into the
country's rural interior, continues along the beautiful Sea of Japan coast, and finishes
in Kyoto.
A great way to travel along this New Golden Route is using the Hokuriku Arch Pass, a seven-day
pass exclusively available to overseas tourists that allows for unlimited use of all the JR
Lines shown on this map, including the Hokuriku Shinkansen.
In episode one we made our way from Tokyo to the Snow Monkeys before episode two saw
us traveling along the Sea of Japan coast, through Kurobe gorge and to the mountain town
of Takayama.
Now in this third and final episode, we spend the last three days exploring an historic
city, beautiful countryside spots and an old merchant town before reaching our final destination:
Kyoto.
So join me, Sam Evans, as we travel from Tokyo to Kyoto along Japan's New Golden Route.
Day 5
Here's the plan: We wake up in Takayama, where we will spend the morning at one of
its popular morning markets.
We then head to Kanazawa, where we'll have a lunch and visit the famous Kenrokuen Garden,
before staying the night at a traditional Japanese ryokan.
So we've arrived this morning at one of Takayama's two morning markets.
Now these morning markets that are open daily sell a selection of crafts, local vegetables
and street food.
I'm starving, so let's go and get breakfast.
We then head over to Toyama via the Takayama Line, before taking the Hokuriku Shinkansen
to Kanazawa.
From Kanazawa Station we make the 15 minute walk to Omicho Market.
We've just arrived in Kanazawa and first of all we're gonna get some local cuisine
for lunch and following that we're gonna take a trip to Kenrokuen, one of the three
most beautiful gardens in all of Japan.
Let's go!
Two of the things Kanazawa is most famous for are its incredible seafood and gold leaf.
Now this restaurant that we are in today in Omicho Market combines the two and it looks
absolutely delicious.
We're here in Kenrokuen, a garden that was made for the enjoyment of the local lord who
in the feudal era was the second richest in all of Japan after the Shogun.
Today this garden is opened to the public
and stands at Kanazawa's number one tourist attraction.
Following our exploration of Kenrokuen,
we make the short walk to our accommodation for the night.
I'm currently enjoying a course dinner of Kanazawa haute cuisine accompanied by some
delicious local sake.
After this it's off to bed because we've got a big day tomorrow.
Kanpai.
Day 6
We leave Kanazawa behind and head on to Fukui Prefecture, where we'll partake in a Kimono
wearing experience and visit Maruoka Castle.
After a morning of kimono fun, we head to the Hakusan Heisenji Shrine before making
our way to Shiga Prefecture and the town of Omi Hachiman,
where our day will come to an end.
We take the Hokuriku main line from Kanazawa to Awara Onsen station, before taking a bus
to Maruoka Castle, where we will make the short walk to the kimono rental shop.
We have arrived at Maruoka Castle, one of only twelve in Japan whose keep has survived
since the feudal era.
From Maruoka Castle we take a bus to Eiheijiguchi Station and then board a train all the way
to Katsuyama Station, from where a taxi will take us to the Hakusan Heisenji Shrine.
We've just arrived at Hakusan Heisenji Shrine and this place is well known for the moss,
which as you can see covers a lot of the shrine grounds.
Now the atmosphere in this place is just absolutely serene, so let's go and check it out.
To end our day of exploration we take a train back through the countryside from Katsuyama
to Fukui, where we board a limited express train to Maibara before heading to Omihachiman
via a special rapid train.
The ryokan we will be staying at is around 30 minutes' walk from the station, or around
ten minutes by taxi.
So we've made it to the end of Day 6 of this incredible journey from Tokyo to Kyoto.

For the last day of our trip, we start with a boat ride along the Omihachiman canal, after
which we'll explore the old merchant district and indulge in a local delicacy for lunch.
Following that it's off to the final stop of our journey: Kyoto's Fushimi Inari Shrine.
So the canal that we are sailing on this morning was made by the local lord some centuries
ago and later it contributed heavily to Omi Hachiman's ascendency as a commercial hub.
Only a few minutes away from where the boat ride docks is Shinmachi-dori Street, along
which many historic buildings have been well-preserved.
So we're here at a restaurant inside the old merchant district and this restaurant
specializes in Omi Beef, the local delicacy.
Today we're going to eat it Sukiyaki Style and the way you do that is by cooking the
beef in this broth before having it with a little bit of raw egg.
It looks delicious and I cannot wait to dig in.
Back at Omi Hachiman Station, we take a 35-minute train ride to Kyoto, where we take the Nara
Line a couple of stops to Inari Station.
So we finally made it to our last destination on this 7 day tour from Tokyo to Kyoto, and
what better way to end a trip like this than at Kyoto's fantastic Fushimi Inari shrine.
And that concludes our amazing adventure along Japan's New Golden Route.

Granblue Fantasy EMP Guide Part 2 All Characters - Duration: 10:04.
Hi ladies and gentlemen, this is Koon
Welcome back to the Part 2 of Koon's Granblue Fantasy Guide for Extended Mastery Point (EMP)
I am going to share some general concepts of EMP for all the characters in GBF today
If you have missed part 1 of this video, feel free to go back
and look for it under my channel's video list
This video is going to be lengthy, so I've prepared a few time stamps under the video description
Please use them to skip and to save your time
First of all, just like our main character, your SSR characters and SR characters can
get 1 EMP per 36,000 EXP gained, once they reach level 80 and level 70 respectively
Although it is really obvious, but I believe there are a lot of players have no idea
that our characters' EMP bonuses are decided based on three factors-
Their TYPE, their RACE and their CHARACTERISTIC
If you look at any character's EMPs, you'll notice three rolls of EMP bonuses there
The first roll of EMPs is decided by the TYPE or STYLE of that character
Whether he or she is a balance character, an attacker, or a supporter etc
The second roll is decided by their race
Each race has a set of specific bonuses
And the last roll of EMP is always unique, and decided based on their own characteristic
Character EMPs are very different from our main character
In order for you to gain a better understanding about these perks, I have put them into 3 groups
just like what I have done in the previous video
Those in Group 1 are the highly recommended, those in Group 2 are important but optional,
while EMP bonuses in Group 3 are generally less important
Again, I would like to highlight, there is no hard and fast rules about EMP
You and I, we're probably using different weapon grids or fighting style,
so please don't follow blindly
What I can do for you here, is to give you the general ideas
You still have to try them out by yourself,
to put these theories and information into practical usage
Without further ado, let's look at the first EMP bonus- Critical Hit
Our characters' Critical Hit bonus is very similar to how a primal grid works
A three-star Critical Hit bonus gives you 25% chance to land a critical hit,
which deals 25% extra damage
Two Critical Hit bonuses give you 44% chance to land a critical hit, and so on
However, the most interesting thing is- these bonuses are able to proc together
which means you can deal more than 25% extra damage
Among all the characters, Albert is the best example, because he has 4 critical hit bonuses
If all these bonuses proc together, he is able to deal 100% extra damage, but the chance
of course, is very low, just 0.4%
All of us love extra damage, so 25% chance for 25% extra sweetness
this is certainly the best buy
Japanese player Hibiota actually did some research and calculations on this EMP bonus
if you are interested, you can look for the links to his blog in my video description
I'm sure you can learn a lot from this guy
Next, we have Elemental attack
Apparently, 10% extra elemental attack is pretty good, you know you want to invest in this
especially for advance players
So please get it!
Double Attack and Triple Attack, they are just so important
It's up to you whether you want to invest 2 stars or 3 stars in these bonuses
because some players feel that there is no need to go further for that 1% increment, but I always
get Triple Attack Bonus to 3 stars
If I don't have enough points for double attack, I usually keep it at 2 stars
A lot of players thought that they need 3 stars to see the effect of this perk
In fact, the difference between 1 star to 3 stars is very small, even when you strike
a double or triple attack
Hm…
If you are not very particular about that 1% to 2% bonus, you only need to invest 1 star
Alright, now let's move to Group 2
Everything in this group is optional
I'll run through all of them very quickly
Healing is optional
Sometimes when you are using Enmity grid, but pairing with dark, fire or wind healers
you know you are going to go through some dilemma between damage and the ability to survive
Nonetheless, it is still a good choice when you are joining high level raids
Some bosses in the game have higher resistance, so if a certain debuff from a specific character
is very important, and you can't afford to miss it, you better get this one
I personally think that core characters like Altair and Jeanne should have this bonus unlocked
This bonus is a lot weaker compared with our main character
If you have extra points, you can always invest one star to boost your damage by a little
Defend bonus is not necessary, but always a good addition when you have extra points
to spare for characters which are fragile
And it's pretty useful when you want certain character to hold the aggro
This bonus increases your character's based HP, so it is also affected by weapon skills
like Majesty and Aegis
I don't think it is very important, but you can always throw some points here
if you have something to spare
These two bonuses are highly optional
Some players insist that they are good for HL raids and solo
However, to me, they are simply useless in public raids,
where everything comes and goes really quickly
This bonus is not going to help much if your character already hits the damage cap
1 star is probably enough for most characters
Damage cap bonus is always good for those who are already at their top form
However, if your character still hasn't hit the damage cap, there is no point getting it
because it's not going to increase your damage
This bonus is good only if you already have a very solid weapon grid, or when you're already
hitting the damage cap, because your weapon strength can compensate the penalty of this bonus
You can also invest some points in Attack Up bonus to mitigate the penalty
Also, the higher its level, the lower its penalty,
so always go for 3 stars if you want to play with it
Dodge is pretty optional under most circumstances
However, for characters like Monica, this bonus is very important, because every time
when she dodges, she will activate her skill and strike her enemies, which is a very promising
way to increase your damage
Well, regarding Hostility, the chance of getting hit is basically 25% for each character
if you are using four characters for the fight
In order for you to understand, I have calculated and listed out the changes you get to enjoy
based on the formula of Hostility
I personally think that these bonuses are both very useful
Unlike the curve in enmity weapon grid we usually see
the damage offered by this bonus is linear
Basically, you need 3 stars to see its effect, and it is really good for character like Scathacha
or those who are attuned to Enmity grid
The bonus damage given by this perk is also linear
similar to the Enmity bonus we mentioned just now
Same here, you need 3 stars to see its true potential
You can't see the icon of reflect when you are fighting, and it's pretty random
Some characters, like Narmaya (Narumeya), works very well with this bonus
You can reflect 99% damage when it activates, so it works like a 99% cut for that character
Again, it is random, if you don't want to play with possibility, I don't think it's
necessary for you to pick up this perk
Support skill bonus will give you a passive skill
This is highly optional, but some very outstanding passives, like Dorathy and Amira's charge bar boost
Seruel's ATK up and Sturm's Hotheaded, are all very good choices to invest your EMP
Ok, finally Group 3
Most bonuses here are not really useful
Skill Damage bonus is one of the worst, because it's additive, it doesn't multiple your damage
directly by percentage
For example, if your skill can deal 500% water damage, it only increases it to 520% water damage
instead of giving you an extra 100% damage bonus
So… never touch this one
This one is also bad, too much investment for too little return
According to Japanese Wiki, at 3 stars, you would probably only
get 60k increase in your skill's damage
These are all rubbish
Overdrive, you zerg; Mode Bar, you zerg; Debuff resistance, you have shield of immunity and cure
Elemental resistance only lowers elemental damage, and it does not cut other damage
The attack value of this bonus is not high, and it's a bit too risky to take up
However, if you are a risk taker, and you have other character(s) to hold the aggro
maybe you can try to play around with it

Pumpkin Carving at 250 Yards with Rifles! A Challenge from Sportsman's Guide - Duration: 13:14.
Howdy, guys and gals! I'm Kyle Broderick. Welcome to The Social
Regressive. We are out here getting ready to shoot some pumpkins. We're gonna carve
pumpkins at 250 yards with ARs and then one special gun right here. This is
a challenge that has been provided to us by the Sportsman's Guide. They're our
newest Patreon supporter at the 338 Lapua Magnum level. So what they have at
that level: anybody's allowed to kind of give us a challenge. Tell us what we need
to do. And in this case they want us to carve faces into pumpkins at 250 yards
with ARs, and they want one that's a happy face, one that's a frowny face, and
if we fail then we need to take our creations and kind of ride them around
like we're the headless horseman, with pumpkins under our arms. Depending on how
some of these bullets work it might be kind-of, you know, holding them up by
strings. We're gonna see how this goes. So we have a couple different things today:
they didn't say if it was an ar-15 or an ar-10.
I've got an ar-15 with a couple bullets that I'm gonna try.
Kedrick has the CMMG Mark 3 DTR 2 6.5 Creedmoor. This has the Bushnell HDMR II
with an H59 reticle in it. UTG recon flex bipod up front and then some of that
wonderful ham loaded ammunition that we've been working up this is 140 grain
Hornady BT HP match over here Kyle is going to be shooting the savage stealth
evolution in 6.5 Creedmoor same ammunition I actually made both loads
and the scope on top of this one is this scopes big brother this is the XRS two
four and a half to 30 by 50 millimeter rifle scope right here with the tremor
three reticle and up front we got a Blackhawk bipod both of these rifles
should be really really precise this is my Rock River Arms ar-15 this is just a
simple car a four up top I've got a Falcon m14 four to 14 by 44 millimeter
ffp scope it served me really well in the past so I've got the bit of a
handicap today shooting 223 but thankfully we have really good
conditions today there's barely any wind it's really clear I think we got a good
shot hey go grab a pumpkin huh this thing weighs a ton all right so
the Sportsman's guide in addition and not saying what kind of AR they wanted
they didn't say exactly how to carve the pumpkins so these are gonna punch tiny
little holes in the front of a pumpkin we're gonna use the backside of the
pumpkin we're gonna make some big exit wounds I hope with some of this ammo and
that's gonna carve bigger holes so it should just be one shot for an eye one
shot for another eye one shot for a nose and then a few for the mouth we'll see
how we do man you did great you should put that spot in here's what we're gonna
do I'm gonna shoot the happy face Kendricks
gonna do the evil face and take down there is gonna do whatever he wants I
think he's gonna do a surprised face and we're not gonna go around robbing or
spot each other we're just gonna go crazy on these things all right come on
hot all right oh you know my scope is loose that could be why I'm having
issues oh yeah I see the hose Kyle's making Roderick I don't see any changes
on either of ours now go back to the question of where am i hitting I'm
wondering if on our calibers you're not gonna see anything on the front of
pumpkin from here Oh pinholes on the front one out the back
I was I've seen chunks flying out of both of yours from the back okay so now
I'm not confident of where the heck I'm zero this is a much better challenge and
I was expecting pick a rock and shoot it alright I'm just gonna go for one like
kind of in the middle of the dirt area okay left of the pumpkins of course so
there's one rock I see with a light side on the right and a dark side on the left
so just under okay yep that was a good shot okay yeah that looks good oh yeah
are there any rules on like going and looking at it and coming back and seeing
it if we could tweak it some more nope cuz as far as I know I need to stop well
I don't know I kind of mmm I'm stopping where I am I have no idea
what to expect yeah you guys have already seen the mess
that's down there and we're just gonna be surprised can I try
and shoot the stem off the pumpkin do it do it that'd be cool
you're a spot with that thing that looks slightly high and right yeah I agree
oh my gosh did I I think you did well I mean it's not off but I think you hit it
like like a piece of it's gone how do you think it did oh I don't have high
hopes I have low expectations as I would like to succeed I'm more
excited to look at the pumpkin stem let's do it alright lead the way okay
damage is good I see a facial structure in the middle one yes
I don't on my left one oh I think no I don't think I hit it oh maybe it was
this maybe that's what we saw we saw yeah because I saw a splash of debris so
that would have been shot one and shot two so I was a little not just on each
side you know your little poles on this I do vaguely look like a face right here
hold here's a Kyle so we are going for an O face like mr. Stifler where you had
an eye and eye a nose and then just one big hole so I think I kind of missed
right here it kind of works I'm gonna blame this on the Kyle so I'm sure you
guys have seen this already but we are just seeing ooh
it's already drying on this quick don't get in the pond we could do that
that's not all pumpkin either yes pumpkin and dirt let's be optimistic
they say it's just pumpkin because the dirt around here's not just dirt cow
pasture okay here's the front of my pumpkin and okay here we go
we have and I I think an eye and then basically a curve but everything is way
off to the right so the back side yeah yeah this is kind of one of those things
in there like in pool when you're playing pool you know pocket billiards
it's like whose rules are you going by yeah if you accidentally make a shot
does it still count I think it does in this case because if you look at yours
from the side it has a nice smile to it because you have a eye and mouth so like
you totally succeeded depending on if you're really playing by the rules this
is like I was trying to put the ten ball in the corner pocket and I put the 12 in
the side pocket instead so I'm just gonna take another turn I think it's
curious to come over here and look at the damage patter between the six five
three more and the two to three yeah there's definitely a difference remember
our left two pumpkins are the six five Creedmoor and then the right one is the
223 which has much more in tree carnage yeah it does yeah we're all shooting the
same Hornady BT HP bullets miner 75 grain there's our 140
and there's are actually going to be moving a little bit faster yeah you can
see tiny little pinpricks and then
pretty much the same big gaping wounds on the back that guy looks angry
right this is my scary face it's very upset I think it works yeah I think we
have a surprised face and then accidentally this one still has a smile
I got to give that one to you impressed call it dumb luck or whatever
but you did it it looks like I have my head stuffed under my shirt uh yeah all
right are you videotaping yes okay I think we failed just enough that I still
have to do this it's all you buddy you ready ready
all right these were hollow points right no Full Metal Jacket okay okay so yeah
not much expansion so it expanded this eye a bit that was a little I know it's
much bigger and these are exit wounds from that does seem like it's getting a
little bigger looks like squash

Camp Chores, Why Do Them? - Red Dead Redemption 2 - Camp Guide - Duration: 3:39.
Hello ladies and gentlemen, my name is Andrew and welcome to a camp guide for Red Dead Redemption 2 in this guide
I'm going to be showing you where you can find camp chores how to do them and why you should do them as well
so first
You're gonna look on the radar you're going to notice that there's some black dots that
Kind of seem a little odd some people think they're a little bit of a bug
But this is actually part of the game these indicate chores and you can do them daily in game
They're simple and quick. So let's take a look over here. You'll find two. Hay bales
These are used to feed the horses once you pick it up
You'll notice that there'll be some yellow X's on the radar. Which tell you where to take it. You can go to either one
So you can go to the one on the right or you can go to the one on the left
It doesn't really matter as long as you take one to the right one and one to the left one
You're pretty much doing the chores
As Well as you could be now
Once you get to the corresponding area you're gonna place it down
You'll notice that once you do on the right side of the screen, you will gain honour and your Dead eye stat will increase as well
There we go now we're gonna go back for the second hay bale and just repeat the process now over here
You'll notice the firewood. This one's pretty simple. What you have to do is just literally chop firewood
Choppy chop. Now. If you head over to these wagons here, you'll find two food sacks
These are for Pearson and they work pretty much the same as the hay bales
You'll have 2 to deliver and they'll be yellow X's that tell you where to bring them again
There's no specific
Spot that you have to put them you can put it at any
Yellow X first as long as you put both of them in that corresponding area now over here
There should be a bucket that you can pick up again
This is similar to the hay bales
One thing you have to note is that the position of these buckets will vary in
Camps and the methods will vary as well in the first camp. Alls you had to do is pick up the bucket
It was already prefilled and you just poured it into the washbasin
In this camp we have to head over to the river
Fill it up and then we'll pour it into a wash basin there should only be one for this
So don't you don't have to worry about figuring out where it goes again
It's going to be marked by a yellow X pretty much all the chores you do will tell you where you have to go
Okay, once that's done. You've pretty much done or your chores
Now you can go and play one thing. You need to note though
is that
Sometimes if you don't see the black dots on the radar
There's a reason for that and that's that one of your gang members might have done the chore already
Sometimes you might even go to a chore and see that one of the gang members is doing it
I've found on some occasions that I've seen John Marston
Chopping wood and I've seen some some of them carrying the hay bales around once in a while
You'll see them carrying the sacks around you might even see them carrying in the bucket
So there is a certain time frame that you have to do them if you leave them for too long
The other gang members will start doing them. So don't fret if you can't find them
It doesn't mean that your game is necessarily bugged. It just means that a gang members done them for you
You don't have to do this every time
I'd suggest doing it occasionally because it helps with your honour and it helps with your stats as well. So it's worth doing it
It's just not worth grinding it so don't stress too much
It's just something you kind of do you just take it in just chill
It's a change of pace from all the killing and stuff that you're doing in the game

Petticoats and Piracy" both by Mackenzi Lee. In the first book, as you may
remember - or if you haven't read it yet, what are you waiting for go get a copy
right now - our story revolves around Monty, who is a young English Lord, his
love interest Percy, and Monty's younger sister Felicity as they go
gallivanting across the European continent on a grand tour. "Ladies Guide
to Petticoats and Piracy" starts just after the end of "The Gentleman's Guide to
Vice and Virtue" and finds Felicity struggling to try and convince the
1800's medical community to take her on as a student and allow her to become a
doctor, which is her lifelong dream. And it's not going so well because she's a
young woman and, you know, sexism. In an act of desperation,
Felicity decides to crash the wedding of an estranged childhood friend of hers
who is about to marry a doctor that Felicity idolizes. And her goal is to
convince him somehow to take her on as an apprentice. Only problem is she has no
money and she has to get to Germany where the wedding is taking place. So she
strikes a deal with a young woman named Sim who, for reasons of her own, wants to
pose as Felicity's maid and gain access to the house where the wedding is being
held. And once they get there Felicity realizes that the doctor is not who he
seems to be, that Johanna her friend is not as horrible as she remembers, and
that Sim might be working towards something more than just petty thievery.
I love love love all three of these girls and I especially loved that one of them
is named Johanna. The audio book for "The Lady's Guide to Petticoats and Piracy"

Gun Mechanics: Overlooked Controls & Tactics - Red Dead Redemption 2 - Gun Guide - Duration: 4:46.
Hello ladies and gentlemen, my name is Andrew and welcome to a gun guide for Red Dead Redemption 2. In this guide
I'm gonna be quickly showing you some of the gun mechanics. In most shooter games
the mechanics are generally the same. You pretty much just aim and
Pull the trigger to shoot. It's not all that different in Red Dead Redemption 2, but there are some minor differences. Now
I'm going to assume that you know
The basic controls. What we're going to do is quickly look at the overlooked controls and tactics
Now first thing you want to note is that tapping R2 will actually un-holster your weapon
Faster than using L1
If your unarmed, it will automatically select your sidearm by default
This tactic is also pretty useful if you want to shoot and fire behind you right away
With the gun un-holstered pressing lightly on R2 will actually allow you to aim from the hip
not entirely too useful, but it works if you want to try and maybe aim a little bit better and
Feather the hammer. Now with the gun holstered lightly pressing on R2 will actually initiate a draw
Anywhere, literally anywhere that will allow you to use a gun
This is pretty handy if you want to go straight into Dead eye without having to
Worry about being killed by whoever's trying to attack you in situations where you're being ambushed or situations where you're being held up
Now while aiming your gun pressing the camera button will instantly switch between first-person and third-person
Pressing left on the d-pad will switch shoulders
pressing up on the d-pad allows you to fire a warning shot in the air and
Pressing Square will allow you to dodge
It also allows you to get dirty
If you're using a scoped weapon
While aiming pressing down on the d-pad will actually allow you to scope in. If you're using a non scoped weapon
While you're in first-person mode
pressing down on the d-pad
Allows you to use the iron sight. Pressing R3 while you're in first-person mode without aiming allows you to do an instant
360°. While you're in third-person mode and you have your primary side arm equipped double tapping L1 will
Pull off a little trick that you can do to holster it. Now for the sake of this video
We're going to assume that there are only two important firing mechanisms
You might notice in some situations where you're hiding behind cover. There's bullets flying everywhere
It's absolute chaos
*Sombre & dark music starts playing*
*Gunfire, gunfire everywhere*
*Lady starts humming or some shit*
It's like every single enemy is just firing
directly at you despite the fact that there might be other people to shoot at. You go to fire a shot and
that works perfectly fine, but then you go to pull the trigger a second time and
No bullet comes out now. You're kind of a sitting duck. The first couple of times this happened to me
I actually thought that it was a bug or a glitch but this is because there are manual hammers and
Automatic hammers. What that means is you press the right trigger to fire once
Again to cock the hammer and then again to fire

Hello and thank you for being the training on WORKforUM evaluations for Dean's by the Center for Teaching and Learning.
Annually, you will receive an email from the system when the evaluations are available.
This is the first step to completing faculty evaluation. Log into the mine Memphis portal.
Remember use your University of Memphis
Universal User Identification or
UUID and the password associated with it.
Note: The MyMemphis portal has a timeout of one hour. After one hour of inactivity the MyMemphis portal will log you out.
This is a security feature.
Click on the Employee page and go to the WORKforUM portlet. on the WORKforUM portlet
click Faculty Evaluations to go to the internal work forum site. First, select My
Employees Reviews, then, from the list, choose the faculty evaluation you want to work on. This is the
Acknowledgement screen; after you've read the comments and ratings entered by the chair or director,
you can enter your own comment if you wish. Note: The text boxes are expandable.
This allows you to see more of your data. When you are done, select "Acknowledge."
You will be asked "Are you sure you want to acknowledge this task?
Once a task has been approved. It may not be available for further revision."
If you're ready to approve click OK. Select My Reviews to return to the dashboard and evaluate another faculty member.
Select My Employee's Reviews to review the process of your acknowledgement.
When you open a review you will see that your acknowledgment was recorded.
Please note that steps 1 through 4 will change color depending on what stage they're in in the evaluation process.
