I'm at the Tokyo Camping Car Show.
I saw this cool camper so
I wanted to show it to you.
The manufacturer is
the company Sekisoh Body.
It's built on a Toyota Hiace van chassis.
Follow me and let's take a closer look.
Let's open the door.
It's latches on to stay open.
The window has
a built in blind you can lift up.
Below is a small storage space
you can store small items.
Now let's look inside.
Oh, this is nice.
Standing inside
I still have plenty of
head room above me.
So it's very comfortable to move around.
On the door
You can pull out
a bug screen.
This model is the Tom Tandem.
Next to me is a small cabinet.
And above that
There are two shore power outlets.
Across from me is a control panel
So you can switch on the lights as you enter.
Now I'm sitting on the opposite side.
Two people can sit here.
And the other seat can hold up to three people.
These seats, as I'm sure you're already aware of
converts into a bed.
And it's a pretty wide bed
so two adults can sleep comfortably.
Something a little different about this model
There's a seatbelt latch up here.
You probably haven't seen that before.
The window here
can open by pushing it outward.
Of course you can lower a bug screen
or lift up a built in blind.
Because this Toyota Hiace has a high ceiling
There is a lot of storage space above.
So there are plenty a places
to store your things or bedding.
This rail here
is so you can attach a table.
This is the kitchenette.
If you lift up this cover
It reveals a very deep sink.
If you pull on the tap
it extends out.
Right here there is a small window.
This also has a lowering bug screen
and raising blind built in.
Above you have a microwave oven.
You can heat up your food.
Next to that
you have a large cupboard
deep enough to put your arm in.
Now let's look below.
And check out the refrigerator.
You can see
it's a good size refrigerator
to hold plenty of stuff.
Next to that
you have two outlets.
Below the sink
is a curved cupboard door.
Let's open it.
You have your tanks.
There's a water tank and a gray tank.
You can see the tank levels
and easily take them in and out.
A charming point of the kitchenette
is this pretty accent light.
It's a nice touch.
Maybe the ladies will really like this.
Now I'm sitting on the bed.
It's a bunk bed.
The reason this camper is suitable for families
The dinette converts into a large bed.
And then you have this bunk
that's a good size for a child.
So there is enough room for a family.
Don't the beds look pretty?
And this upper bunk bed
may not be needed by everyone.
just undo these latches on each side.
And this bed can fold out of the way.
So the lower bed now has more space.
Let's put this down.
Above and below you also have windows.
Where I'm sitting
there is a small door.
If you open it
you can find a huge storage space.
You can access the storage from inside
or you can access it from the back of the camper.
Now let's open this door.
You probably expected a bathroom.
Right now it's not set up as a bathroom.
It's more of a closet or storage space.
But if have a need
For a bathroom
or at least a toilet.
You could put in a portable toilet.
But if you don't feel the need
to put in a toilet
You'll have lot's of room
to store your camping gear.
Let's step in the cab.
The cab area in this model
Is very intesting.
Between the seats is a table.
So you can use it in a variety of modes.
