Auto news on Youtube Dec 28 2017

In this video, we'll demonstrate how to easily calibrate your new US Shift transmission controller's throttle position settings after installation is complete.

The procedure is the same for Quick 2, Quick 4, and Quick 6 controllers with firmware five point six or newer.

In this video, we'll be using the Quick 6 for demonstration.

We recommend a throttle position signal with the widest sweep possible, between approximately 0.5 volts at idle and no more than 5 volts at wide open throttle.

Wiring diagrams and details on TPS connections are included in the provided manuals.

These manuals can also be found on our website under the support / publications section.

Calibrating the TPS signal is required prior to driving your vehicle and should only need to be completed once,

unless your throttle position sensor is replaced or falls out of adjustment for some reason.

With the key on, engine off, and foot off of the accelerator,

rotate the controller knob to SET and SETUP SYSTEM will scroll across the display.

Click the controller knob once to enter the setup menu.

TPS will then be displayed, followed by CALIBRATE TPS.

Another click of the controller's knob will enter TPS calibration mode.

The controller will immediately begin detecting idle voltage.

While rare, if idle voltage is detected below 0.3 volts,

an error message will appear and you'll need to physically adjust your TPS module or test the wired connection.

Once the controller has detected and set the idle voltage, PRESS ACCEL PEDAL will scroll over the display.

At this point, depress the accelerator pedal fully and hold it.

When RELEASE ACCEL PEDAL is shown, release the accelerator completely and wait for TPS SUCCESSFUL to appear.

This completes the initial TPS calibration procedure.

You can now turn off the ignition or begin test driving.

If at any point you would like to access a previous menu or navigate backwards through setup,

rotate the controller knob to RET and RETURN will be displayed.

Click once for the previous screen.

How to Play CoD WW2 Gustav Cannon Map Guide Master the Spawns - Duration: 2:59.

welcome to JGOD gaming in today's video I'll be focusing on how to play Gustav

cannon in Call of Duty World War two specifically for the mode Team

Deathmatch the overview of the map is the example I gave our one in my spawn

guide and specifically these red areas are where your enemies or you will spawn

in this particular map ideally the best spot for this map is the Gustav cannon

because it gives you a centralized vantage point to all corners of the map

and ideally if you're able to control the top you should be able to win most

of the matches on this map if you have multiple teammate spotting the corners

as well that should help you out a lot the only downside is if your enemy

opponents are good with sniper rifles and you're not or vice versa it'll kind

of lend a lot of weight that way too because the snipers and this map can be

very overpowered just for the fact that when you're on these head glitches a lot

of times they can't shoot through the metal so they need to get head shots and

if you're using an AR or submachine gun someone landing four or five head shots

at that range just won't be able to compete with the sniper now looking at

my mini-map you can actually see where all my teammates are so I would assume

that all the enemy team are directly to the left and towards the front of me on

this side so when you're looking at the mini-map view that can give you

information as well knowing that there's only four spots that can spawn and your

teammates are blocking two of those areas odds are the enemy team will

responding to this top left side and the top right side so as long as you're able

to get them coming off spawn they won't be able to really flip the spawn and

then also you will have a good opportunity to just continue racking up

the kills so coming up you're gonna see that pretty much the spawns stay

accurate to what I've been saying so far and you're gonna see all of them flood

in the UAV once I call it in so pretty much I just hold this top of the Gustav

and continue to do so and just kind of watch it where my teammates are you can

see that everyone just flooded in down there to the bottom right and you can

kind of just see how it rotates like that

so that's pretty much all you got to do hold the top here and try to flank

around you can actually along the side of the Gustav and the

people on top won't be able to see you so it's really the only limitation there

is that you have to get on top of the Gustav I mean there are other ways and

objective game modes and - people rushing up at the same time or you're

just really good sniper on the bottom but more than likely this is the best

way to hold the top is just continually roll packed back and forth taking out

people from the top of the Gustav I wish there was more to this map but there's

not really much more to it than that so hopefully enjoyed the video I'd like to

know your thoughts down in the comment section below if you did enjoy the video

anyway go to remember click that like button and subscribe if you haven't

already thanks for watching as always have a great day

10 Things to do in Hvar, Croatia Travel Guide - Duration: 13:18.

Well good day good day.

We have finally made it to one of my dream destinations.

Yeah.

Where are we right now?

We're in Hvar, Croatia so and oh my it is beautiful.

Urgh, it sure is.

And when we arrived, we arrived at night and then the following day it was just like it

was pissing rain.

Oh yeah.

So this is the first time we're seeing it looking like lovely.

Yeah.

And I have to say it is stunning.

We just can't wait to go out and explore.

Yeah.

And you know what is the funny thing?

This is meant to be the sunniest island in all of Europe.

Yeah.

And yesterday was rainy, tomorrow is going to be rainy but today we have blue skies so

we're just going to run around like crazy.

That is it.

And show you guys Hvar (Lesina).

All day long.

Yeah!

As you probably already know, we never start sightseeing without a good meal, so the first

item on our list was to find some breakfast.

This proved to be a little tricky considering we were visiting during low season, but after

a few false starts we settled down at BB Club for shakshuka, omelettes, nutella crepes and

cappuccinos.

(Bell ringing)

So what is really cool about Hvar is just the old town.

Like these old big stone walls.

Yeah.

And as beautiful as it is just to walk around it is also a strategic because you can escape

from the sun.

Like we're totally in the shade over here.

Yeah, it really keeps the streets cool as well.

It keeps it really cool.

It keeps the street it keeps us cool and that is always a good thing.

And now we're climbing up towards the fortress.

How many steps do you think we've got to tackle?

I don't know.

There is a lot though.

Haha.

I've just had a big meal.

A long way up.

Bit of a haul to get up there for sure.

With bellies full, we were ready explore and our eyes were set on the fortress, which is

the focal point when you gaze up from the Old Town.

Reaching the fortress means walking straight uphill, but there are a few scenic stops along

the way, including a beautiful park, a seemingly abandoned church, and plenty of lookouts where

you can admire the town and the harbour.

Well I'd say we are what two thirds of the way up?

Oh man I really hope so.

I sure hope so.

Anyways, just on the side of the path here we've noticed what could potentially be an

abandoned church.

Oh, let's go have a look see.

It is a little bit off of the path so let's go check it out.

Lead the way.

Alright, Sam the man.

So we've made it to the fort.

That was a long climb up.

But ah that was good because we sure needed that after that huge brunch.

And we got some really nice views of the town.

Unbelievable.

Like the light wasn't facing in the right direction but still the views were spectacular.

So moolah matters.

Yeah Moola matters so that was 40 Kuna each yep which is $6 US buckaroos.

And yeah, I don't think there is too many other people up here so no.

I haven't heard or seen anyone yet which is cool.

Let's go check it out.

So another thing to mention is that there are two fortresses here in Hvar.

The one that is further away was built by Napoleon apparently but we are visiting the

one that is closest to town and this one is called Fortica Španjola according to my little

brochure and that is because even though it was built by the Venetians it was actually

designed by Spanish architects.

It is called the Zatvor Prison.

It looks spooky.

Lead the way.

Down the dungeon we go.

It is quite dark.

It is dark and these steps are tiny.

Tiny slippery steps.

There is a handrail.

There is a handrail.

That is a good thing.

Oh my yeah.

Well if this is the size of the dungeon it is definitely not a place where I would have

wanted to be kept as a prisoner.

Okay, Sam as a prisoner.

That would have been the size of your cell.

That is it right there.

That is it.

Tiny little window.

After visiting the fort, we came back to the Old Town and decided to go on a little walk

along the waterfront.

We hadn't packed any bathing suits and it was too late in the season to go for a swim,

but Audrey was set on testing out the turquoise waters.

Here are the rules guys.

Basically just don't be an idiot.

Don't pass out drunk, don't eat pizza.

Argh!

Don't parade around town half naked.

Don't be rowdy.

I feel like those are a million and one ways that I could easily get fined.

Especially the pizza.

Yeah, there you go.

There is so many natural pools and swimming areas all along the coast.

If we were here in the summer we could be swimming right there.

So Audrey what are you doing?

I'm going to see how warm the water is in November.

First week of November.

Are you going to assess the water situation?

Yes.

And?

I mean it is cold but it is not awful.

It is not awful.

It is not ice cold.

It is not a Canadian lake in the middle of summer.

Haha.

It would be refreshing.

It would be refreshing but I probably wouldn't go in for a swim no.

I think in August this would have been wonderful.

You know end of summer nice and warm.

Um but yeah.

Okay so we've been showing you guys what a relaxed day in Hvar looks like during low

season.

But obviously there is a lot more to do in the town and across the island.

Yeah, there sure is.

So the 1st thing that you can do during peak season is party because this island is packed.

Our airbnb host showed us a picture of what it is like and it looks absolutely bananas.

Insane.

And like there is actually a lot of bars and nightclubs on the island.

Everything is shutdown now but obviously you know it is open during the summer months.

Um, aside from that you can also go island hopping.

There is a whole bunch of little islands just off the mainland.

Yep.

Or actually not the mainland because we're on an island but smaller islands off of the

bigger island.

Smaller islands off of the bigger island.

Yeah, you can either do a tour or you can rent a boat.

You can also rent a bike to explore more of this island.

Like we're just kind of exploring the town.

The developed area the town area.

But there is more to the island.

Yeah.

And yeah there is just a tonne of things you can do here but we're just kind of showing

you what it is like to have a chill day.

Chill day.

Continuing our wander through Hvar Town without a particular place or direction in mind, we

then came across a medieval Venetian bell tower that we had noticed peeking through

the buildings.

The bell tower is part of the Ruins of the Dominican Monastery and St. Mark's Church,

and while the structure is closed off, it's still a cool landmark to visit.

Hi meow meows.

Hello.

Is it friendly?

Are you friendly.

Come say hello meow meows.

Oh.

Oh, stretch.

Yes.

I like my massage.

And lastly another thing we recommend doing here in Hvar Town is just like wandering around

without a map and getting lost.

I feel like that is the best way to discover the town.

We've come across vineyards, olive groves, ruins and the quaintest of little lanes.

Pets.

So yeah, it is just a lot of fun to there is a goat.

Oh my gosh we are going to say hi to a goat.

But see this is what happens when you wander around without a map without a plan.

Woah, goats have strange eyes.

It is just like a little line.

His pupils.

It is not a dot it is a line.

So update.

It is now three thirty so we're going to go eat again.

I don't know if this qualifies as lunch or dinner because we had a pretty late breakfast.

Um, but yeah it starts getting dark here at four thirty PM during the winter months so

we may as well eat now.

I'm hungry.

We went to KOGO which is located in the main square just footsteps from St. Stephen's

Cathedral (Katedrala Svetog Stjepana).

They specialize in pizzas and pastas, and everything was so tasty!

Alright guys so here we are.

All settled in at our favorite restaurant in Hvar Town (Grad Hvar).

This is KOGO and the food is already here.

Oh my.

Yeah, the food is fantastic.

They basically hooked us up with our first meal when we arrived at night.

Yes.

And uh so yeah we are back here today.

I ordered spaghetti carbonara and it is so so good.

Sam got himself a pizza.

And of course we can't forget four cheese quatro formaggi.

The wine.

I always need some red wine.

Salut.

Cheers.

And how is the carbonara?

It is good.

I've already been eating it if you haven't noticed.

Yes, you have.

Mmm.

Wonderful.

So hungry.

We've walked all day.

This is great.

And Sam of course goes for pizza whenever he has the opportunity.

It is just so good in Croatia.

They make amazing pizzas.

Yeah, I know.

They seriously do.

They rival Italy.

They really do.

They really do.

So I went with the 4 cheese one here.

Quattro Formaggi.

It has got a bit of everything.

And yeah look at that.

Including some kind of creamy cheese.

Oh man.

Yeah.

I made a good choice.

This is really good.

(Singing)

Lastly, to finish up our 1-day tour of Hvar Town, we walked back to the marina, this time

heading left in the direction of the Franciscan Monastery, where we were treated to a magical

sunset complete with live music.

So we are just walking back to our apartment and can you hear that?

There is someone playing the trumpet on their boat out in the water.

That is so cool.

The party continues.

I don't know if it is part of the wedding celebration that we saw earlier but there

is a party happening out there.

(Music)

Your Cryptocurrency for Beginners guide. - Duration: 9:27.

Hello! Jez Feldmesser here from Feldmesser dot co bringing you your simple guide to

cryptocurrency all beginners by me Jez Feldmesser an ex beginner because we've

all got to start somewhere so I made this simple guide basically because I've

seen a lot of information going around about Bitcoin in the media and a lot of

my friends have no idea what cryptocurrency is etc so let me just

introduce you to this for your educational benefit. I've just taken this

entry from Bitcoin in the Wikipedia and bitcoins cryptocurrency and worldwide

payment system well yes it is and it's getting even better it's the first

decentralized digital currency as the system works without a central bank "Yoo

hoo!" that's a good point...." or a single administrator" nobody could shut it down

it's worldwide it's... it's on- line it's there. "The network is peer-to-peer"

person-to-person individual to individual from me to you - that's great

and transactions take place with users directly through the use of cryptography

you don't have to know anything about cryptography to use Bitcoin..." without an

intermediary " that means nobody in the middle that's a good point remember that

these transactions are verified by network nodes like your computer and my

computer and somebody else's computer on the network and recorded in a public

distributed ledger meaning everybody can see whatever else is doing except it's

all anonymous because it's just numbers and this is the blockchain. So "bitcoin

was invented by an unknown person or group of people under the name of

Satoshi Nakamoto and released as open source software "meaning everybody can

contribute to it and improve upon it and as you'll learn next it has been

improved upon and multiple versions of cryptocurrency are

now actually in existence so it was released in 2009 which means we are now

nearly in its 9th birthday I suppose bitcoins are created as the reward for a

process called mining but you don't have to mine it yourself that's good news

because if you had to mine all the gold that used to cover the dollars then that

would be difficult but we don't do that anymore we just base our currency

exchanges by the very important idea that somebody else will be willing to

accept our pieces of paper or our numbers in exchange for goods and

services so in fact you've been using digital currency ever since you had your

credit card so it's actually not that new as a concept because you don't have

to have pieces of paper that represent the money or blocks of gold or silver

that represent money the money is the idea that what you transmit to somebody

in exchange for goods or services he can then or she can then transmit to

somebody else in exchange for what they need and these are very important

concepts to keep in mind as we go through this basic introduction so the

University of Cambridge estimates in 2017 this is an April estimate and we're

in December so figures have changed but they're between two point nine to five

point eight million unique users using a cryptocurrency wallet most of them using

Bitcoin because bitcoin was the big baby that started it all off and now there

are a bunch of others December 17 there are one thousand three hundred and

seventy three different crypto currencies coins this is just the coins

not the tokens coins listed on coin market Capcom which I suggest you don't

have a look and find out what all that's about so obviously there's a lot of

interest in the idea of cryptocurrency the current US dollar

of the combined crypto currencies is around the six hundred billion dollar

mark and has tripled in the last three months hence the reason for all the

media bars about cryptocurrency and Bitcoin and all that good stuff so let's

continue your education is that good or bad get educated is my answer as you've

seen perhaps in my logo it says applied knowledge equals results

so cryptocurrency is in my opinion the future exchange of value while we strive

to make a exchange system that works for the people and not just banks there are

many changes that will occur so my thoughts however that the will of the

people will win over the will of the bankers and we will see cryptocurrency

become our currency person-to-person each individual capable of exercising

their ability to exchange their value with a planet of other people hence the

reason why I'm really excited about our future he said reaching for his

smartphone because the reason I'm reaching for my smartphone is because we

have coin based applications on smartphone which allows you to have a

digital currency in your phone and and

you can see we are 15 thousand something dollars on the Bitcoin price it's been

going up and down rather excitedly because it's currently still evidently a

volatile market hence the reason to get educated but how do I get started is

obviously for the next question well there are very simple steps one of them

of course is get a wallet a link below you could just get your coin based

wallet on your phone or on your computer it's as easy as that and follow the link

to get you your wallet so that's a start you have have a lot then you

want to put some cryptocurrency in it so then put some cryptocurrency in it and

it's quite easy to do you simply buy some cryptocurrency of your choice and

on the coinbase comm you can buy Bitcoin Bitcoin cash if there are a.m. and

litecoin and you can see my other videos which

will give you other explanations of what all these are

so then learn how to send and receive this is an important next step because

obviously as a user of cryptocurrency you will want to be able to send people

money and you will won't be able to receive cryptocurrency money so those

are the two actions I suggest you get used to doing it and of course you can

start with a cryptocurrency that is not costly to use and start exchanging some

cryptocurrency with your friends and family so that you can see how all this

works Bitcoin is currently slow let's make a little note here because it's

getting kind of saturated in that area therefore I suggest you can use litecoin

to start off with and have fun with it the whole point is to get you trained

and happy to use cryptocurrency which is your future currency let's get the next

steps yes subscribe to my channel here to keep updated and click on the

notifications Bell ding ding so that when I upload another video you are

notified and can continue your education you can continue learning about

cryptocurrency so that you learn how to be profit and be ahead of the game this

is the next steps and you can join me in the Bitcoin well club which is free club

join and continue your education and there are effectively referral

commissions on the higher levels within the wealth club which you can earn even

if you only have a free account so that's only for people that are

interested in money and more information links I've put in the description below

so you have to click on the show more link down below so you can find those

link and continue our education share this

video with people if you'd like to assist them to learn about

cryptocurrency and of course leave me your questions

and comments in the section below bye for now see you guys in the next video

HOW CAN I BE HAPPY - a small guide - Duration: 4:33.

Have you ever wanted to do something in your life that everyone said you couldn't do?

Traveling to LA

Day one of Gamescom

Paris Games Week, Welcome

chapter 1: the year that changed my life

How many times do we put barriers between ourselves and what makes us happy

just because others keep saying that we can't do it

Nobody belives in you

Your Family, your friends, everyone keeps saying that

What you want to do is a waste of time

because we can't do what we want

and because of this constant "NO"

we reach a moment in our lives where we just want to say

"f**k it"

There's this trigger inside of us that's being squeezed harder and harder

until it reaches its maximum pressure point

eventually something breaks

you're deaf

you're blind, you're confused and then

nothing

you've reached your limit, you stopped caring

about what others have to say and this is the moment when you become truly free

and this is me, expressing myself, okay?

"If you could be anyone, would you choose to be yourself?" - Naomi Shihab Nye

think of all the things you ever wanted to do. Your goals

think of how you could achieve them. Your plans.

You got Plan A? Good.

You got Plan B? Good.

Now all you have to do... is go through a lot of fu**ing work

Chapter 2: make a plan and stick to it

I'm here. All of my dreams and aspirations are here. And the only thing in between these two

is a bunch of work. So tackling that work is a way of moving this needle.

Wake up early, go to bed late, have your goal in front of you and keep on the path

embrace any opportunity, open your mind, don't limit yourself, try anything and

everything

Chapter 3: anything & everything

You're Tarzan, you're here.

And you want to get to the other side of the jungle, here.

Ideally there's this straight line. It doesn't exist. Instead you reach and you

grab on to whatever vine you can grab on to, and you swing.

And that vine might carry you in this direction. Which doesn't feel like the right direction of your goal.

But it does get you a little bit closer, and eventually you make it to where you wanna be.

Chapter 4: swinging vines

Others will start taking notice. Things might start looking up.

You will get to meet like-minded people. You will get to experience new things.

You will get to visit new places where you will get to meet more

like-minded people. Positivity will start spreading through you and eventually

you will start spreading into others.

This is just one of those days I guess.

But the beauty of the Tarzan method, the magic of being open-minded in your pursuit

is that like these unknowns that's usually where you find something that,

is actually what your goals are.

Learn by doing, make rash decisions,

Take risks, assume the consequences.

Find your limits, know your strengths, live with your weaknesses.

Accept who you truly are.

Learn to love yourself.

Know your worth, so you may know what you deserve

Once you know all of this others will appreciate you for it

for being genuine, for being yourself

And the ones who don't. Well...

You don't care about them.

Bi**hes today don't know the style. You gotta represent B..

You might even get to meet that special someone.

You will complete each other and make each other better.

You will understand each other's faults and what makes them who they are,

what makes them unique

you'll love them for it and you'll get to share passions

share love, share work

share fun, share experience, share achievements, share failures

share everything.

But don't forget.

The adventure doesn't end. The clock never stops ticking

so don't waste your time. It's the only thing you're never getting back.

Now you know that without the sketch of a plan you will never get anything done.

So start off each day by trying your best and at the end of the day

you can be satisfied with yourself.

Now you know that because you can be yourself, you are truly happy.

I am truly happy!

And all I had to do...

was squeeze that trigger.

also find the kit for this device, so instead of buying all the parts separately you can

buy 1 kit and get all the parts fast and at the same time. There is even an option to

get the device assembled so all you have to do is install its software and set it up.

In the beginning I did say custom circuit board because to make this easier I designed

a custom circuit board so that way not only will it be very stable and have strong connections

with no guess work in assembling it but, also so I can make many of them really easily for

my house. I have provided the gerber file on my website as well as where to get it made.

You can also buy the PCB on my website, which is the easiest and fastest way to get them.

Since all the connections are already made on the circuit board all we have to do is

solder the components on to the board. First let's take the circuit board and put it into

the circuit board holder. If you look closely at the circuit board you will see that there

are labels next to the component slots, when I say where to put the component that is what

I will be referring to. I like to solder from the less sensitive components to to most sensitive

so, let's start off with the 4 1 pin male headers, put them into slots J1, J2, J4 and

J5. Then solder them in. If you want to know how to solder or how I solder then check out

my guide for the door sensor because in that video I went over it in detail. Next take

the 2 pin male header and solder it into J8. After that take the 3 pin male header and

solder it into slot J6. Following that take the 4 pin female header with short pins and

solder it into slot J7. For the Power Plug1 slot we are going to solder in the DC jack.

Now Grab the 3 470 ohm resistors and solder them into slots R2 R3 and R4. To put them

in the slots I bent their leads. Once they were soldered in I also cut excess of the

leads on the other side of the PCB. Next take the 3 TIP 122 transistors and solder them

into slots Q2 Q3 and Q4. When you put them in the slots, the side of the transistor with

writing should be facing the markings B C E on the PCB. Now take the 4 pin 90 degree

male header and solder it into slot J3. Once that is soldered in flip the pcb over and

solder the Esp8266 into slot U1. I recommend putting flux on every single pad of the esp8266

and of the circuit board and then solder it in. The last component we have to solder in

is the buck converter. Grab the buck converter and place it on the 4 1 pin male headers.

Make sure the out side of the buck converter is next to the MK-SmartHouse logo. Once it

is nicely seated solder the 4 corners of the buck converter to the pins. Great everything

is all soldered to the board!

Next grab the power adapter and plug it into power as well as into the PCB. Then take the

multimeter and put the black probe into the hole of the buck converter and then take the

red probe and hold it over the out + terminal of the buck converter. Using a small flat

screw driver on the gold screw, adjust the voltage of the buck converter to 3.3 volts.

Once it is adjusted unplug the power adapter from the PCB and then take the 2 pin jumpers

and put one over the power header and the other over the PGM side of the 3 pin header.

Everything to do with the PCB is now complete, so let's move on to modifying the case to

make the PCB fit. Before we modify it fold down the TIP122 transistors on the PCB, this

is so they can fit. Then take the side of the pcb with the 90 degree header and put

it into the case. Using a sharpie mark the top of the header on the case. Then use a

dremel to cut a rectangular hole. After the hole is cut use a small file to clean up the

edges. Take the PCB and make sure the hole lines up. You may have noticed that the PCb

still does not fit in the enclosure in terms of height. So grab a 6.5 mm drill bit and

put it into a drill. I used a drill press but you can use a normal hand drill and drill

down the four standoffs inside the enclosure. If you put the PCB in the case and close the

lid everything should fit nicely.

Now let's move onto the LED strip, the only thing we have to do is take the 4 pin female

header with long pins and stick it into the female end of the LED strip. Next remove the

lid of the case and connect the LED Strip, the white wire of the LED strip should lign

up with the W mark on the PCB. That is it for the hardware of the actual

device now all it needs is some software which will be in the next video. If you need any

of the parts shown in the video you can buy a kit, or the PCB to make the device at the

link in the video description. Alright thank you for watching and If you have any questions

leave them in the comments section below or head over to mksmarthouse.com/forum. Good

Bye!

Gods & Glory - Overview Guide "Damage" - Duration: 2:36.

Brave warriors!

Today we'd like to explain how to determine the amount of damage that your units can deal

to your opponent's troops.

All rulers can easily calculate how much damage their army can inflict by using a simple formula:

multiply the attack value by a fraction with 1,000 as the numerator and 1,000 + the defense

value as the denominator.

For instance, 30 Maul Fighters attack with a power of 14,730, while the Shadow Dragon

in the first chapter of the Fallen Star dungeon has a defense equal to 800.

Since the Maul Fighter is a protector, a first line unit with a physical attack, we put 800

in the denominator.

i.e. we divide 1,000 by 1,800 and then we multiply the result by the attack value of

30 Maul Fighters.

Thus, we receive the damage value.

But every rule has an exception.

For example, ignition and poisoning can deal a lot of damage.

So the "Fire Magic" ability that can be learned for 120 points of Magic and the "Poison"

ability that can be learned for 120 points of Dexterity, Pyromaniac's ability, as well

as Razorback's and Plague Spirit's abilities ignore the enemy units' defense.

In such cases, the damage directly depends on the attack value.

For instance, the hero with the "Fire Magic" or "Poison" ability will deal damage equal

to 50% of the attack value.

This is how these abilities work.

So we figured out that the damage you deal to the enemy troops depends on their defense

value, only, of course, if your army doesn't use ignition and poisoning.

And a few words about critical damage.

Critical damage increases the regular attack by 170%.

Here's an example: 30 Forest Guardians can deal more than 130,000 critical damage to

the enemy.

With this knowledge, you'll be able to calculate how the damage of a Renegade with the "Battle

Mage" skill will increase, or why the "Marauding" ability decreases the amount of damage received

every time the enemy squad is eliminated.

That's it for today.

Good luck on the battlefield!

Lake Matheson - New Zealand's Biggest Gap Year – Backpacker Guide New Zealand - Duration: 8:06.

Today we are making our way to a photographer's dream. One of New Zealand's most reflective

lakes, Lake Matheson or Mateson I still don't know how to pronounce that and that's not

even a Maori name.

Today we are heading to the most reflective lake in New Zealand which is lake Matheson.

So as soon as we get to the car park we are wasting no time and heading straight to the

walk that leads to the lake. the track that is leading us to lake matheson is actually

really short. It's 40 minutes one way and there is the option to do an hour and half

loop track as well. But we have a lot planned after checking out the lake so we are going

for the shortest option. It takes us right through a beautiful beech forest and as soon

as we enter the forest we are completely isolated from the outside world we can only see the

thick native bush.

The vegetation around is really cool. it's your classic New Zealand rainforest with the

first level being some low level flax and ferns and then after you have a medium tier

of trees which are usually all the ferns which have grown a little bit bigger and then finally

you have the really tall and towering kahikatea trees and rimu trees it's a really cool walk.

The track is super accessible it is very well graded very well gravelled literally anyone

could go down here and check out this awesome rainforest and head toward Lake Matheson.

Although we're just expecting a walk to the lake we surprised to find this amazing rainforest

on the way there. All the trees are covered in small vegetation like moss and tiny ferns

as well. And then we arrive at our first glimpse of Lake Matheson. Lake Matheson was formed

about 14,000 years ago by the Fox Glacier as it was retreating it left this huge depression

in the ground which has filled up with water and created this beautiful lake.

But this is far from the main viewing point of the lake. We have in our mind this really

classic New Zealand pictures of the mountain and the forest reflective over the dark lake

and we really want to see this one. And after a very short walk we arrive at the massive

platform. It's a wooden carved platform overseeing the lake and it gives us this amazing view.

The reflection is absolutely amazing. And Laura and I stay here for hours taking heaps

of pictures. The water is super reflective and really placid making making the reflection

even more vivid. Except for a few ducks that break the water as their swimming around.

A sign at the jetty tells us what the peaks is the background that we can see in the distance

which includes two of tallest mountains in New Zealand called Aoraki Mt Cook and Mt Tasman.

Although the clouds are covering those very tall peaks at the moment. The walk back to

Lake Matheson base is quite quick one. As mentioned this is a one way track so we are

getting back in the same way we came in giving us an opportunity to see the forest on a completely

different angle. I am a huge fan of one way walks because it gets us to see so much more

out of just a short walk.

But the main reason laura and I are powering through the rest of this walk is because there

is some yummy food at stake. We have decided to treat ourselves today. We have been cooking

for ourselves for months now and it's time for us to actually eat something awesome cooked

by someone else than Laura and I. So we have heard that the cafe at Lake Matheson was award-winning

and had amazing food and this is where we decide to have lunch today. The building itself

has a couple of entries then first one is going through the gift shop which is also

an art gallery with heaps of kiwiana art which is local culture art. And the other entrance

is where the cafe and to be honest although we spent some time looking at the art what

is most interesting to us is the yummy food.

Choosing something to eat is the biggest decision of our day. There's so much to choose from

European Asian classic New Zealand food, but we end up going for delicious BLT baguette

and I go for salmon and ramen noodle broth. A little bit of everything here. and we get

beautiful views in the distance while we get to eat some amazing food.

And that's all topped off with a couple of our favourite types of deserts which is carrot

cake and frangipani for Robin.

Laura and I really felt like we needed a bit of a slower day today. It has been absolutely

hectic I mean can you guys remember how many activities we've done in literally the last

month? It's absolutely crazy. So as soon as we head back to the Ivory Towers in Fox Glacier

we are getting in touch with some friends of ours which are actually in the area as

well. We met them when we were in Auckland and they are currently backpacking in the

South island and tonight we are going to be meeting one of our friends at the Bigfoot

restaurant which is probably the most popular backpacker restaurant here in Fox Glacier.

The bigfoot bar is pretty famous in Fox Glacier especially for having those foot made of paper

that every traveller can draw on to leave its mark behind. As a french person I have

to draw our french emblem which is the cock. Laura and Lindsay my friends from the US,

are getting onto the drawing as well laura is drawing something unusual for an English

person which is a cactus with a sombrero on it while Lindsay is drawing up a picture of

Milford Sound. She is actually currently working for the Department of Conservation doing some

kiwi conservation down in Fiordland so I can see where she gets here inspiration from.

The competition is pretty tough between Lindsay and I who can draw the best amazing creation

on their bare big foot.

I like both of them. I love em I I it's a tie.

You've just met Lindsay's mum which is travelling with her around New Zealand for a couple of

weeks and because they have a lot planned they are going to bed really early and we

are left alone Laura and I eating some awesome food again we are going for some pizzas right

now because we felt like our yummy food this afternoon was healthy enough but we can't

help ourselves and have to finish with some really yummy yummy deserts.

We've finished with a nice desert with cheesecake and Laura's having a chocolate mouse mmmmm

we are in for a great night at Ivory Towers before finally leaving Fox Glacier tomorrow

but not without before checking out the terminal face of the glacier.
