Louise Redknapp 'filed for divorce from Jamie nine months ago – days after Strictly Come Dancing tour'
Louise and Jamie Redknapp reportedly submitted their divorce papers nine months ago, just days after finishing the Strictly Come Dancing tour.
The couple called time on their 19-year-marriage following months of speculation over their troubled relationship, in a divorce that was officially granted in 20 seconds on Friday December 29.
A source told The Sun that the files were submitted in March, saying: The marriage was over long before anyone previously believed. Judge Ian Mulkis granted a decree nisi at a hearing in the Central Family Court in London, at which neither Louise, 43, or Jamie, 44, were present.
However, Louise was spotted out and about still wearing her wedding ring on 29 December, the same day her divorce was granted.
They announced their split in July as Louise cited years of being a stay at home mum left her feeling like a 'stepford wife' having discovered a new-found freedom in training for Strictly Come Dancing.
