Scroll down for video  . Most babies are born in July, August and September, according to Texas state records

See why Gaby Moreno is the Best in Texas - Duration: 2:54.

When I discovered blues and jazz for some reason I wanted to pick up

a saxophone. But, my mother convinced me not to, 'cause she said that, that was a

melodic instrument and that. But, essentially she convinced me to get a guitar

she said: "you will be writing songs with it, you'll be accompanying yourself with it

it'll be much more fun."

In 2007, I won the John Lennon songwriting contest. The experience was

just a really amazing thing for me because it was one of my first songs

that I wrote in Spanish that ended up winning the contest. So, it meant a lot to me

it was also the first time in its history that the Latin category won,

now, I am a judge of the contest.

How would I describe my style?

I came up with one word and it's "Spanglish Folk Soul"

'cause that's what it is you know

I sing in English, I sing in Spanish I love soul music and folk music

and I mean I could go on and on

with jazz and blues and, country and R&B, blah blah blah, that would be too long.

This year I I've been, I've been touring I have some concerts coming up

I'm also going to be doing some benefit concerts, to help the people that were affected by

the recent volcano eruption in Guatemala. So, I'm excited to do that and

help you know those in need and help my country.

It feels wonderful to be working with a brand like Ford 'cause it's

such an iconic and an important brand here in the United States

I am always looking for vehicles that are comfortable and that are spacious

because I have to travel with all of my gear with my band you know they travel

like the drummer has the cymbals and his sticks bags and I have tons of stuff

so, for me it's always important to look for a vehicle that, has that

you know, commodity and space.

Essentially what I want to do with music, I want to bring people together

no matter your cultural background, no matter your language

I know that when I go to Europe for some reason people love it when I sing in Spanish you know

but that's, that's the beauty about music it's a universal language and it and it

brings people together.

¡Ford, es lo mejor en Tejas!

Report: Death Threat Forces Rep. Maxine Waters To Cancel Events In Texas And Alabama - Duration: 5:05.

Report: Death Threat Forces Rep. Maxine Waters To Cancel Events In Texas And Alabama

Rep.

Maxine Waters stirred up a lot of controversy last week when she called on people to confront Trump administration officials whenever they are out in public.

Now the California Democrat reportedly has canceled events in Texas and Alabama because of a "serious death threat" made against her.

Waters' call for protests against administration officials was made after some Trump aides last week were confronted at restaurants while intense debates were taking place across the country over the administration's "zero-tolerance" immigration policy.

White House press secretary Sarah Sanders was asked to leave a Virginia restaurant, and in separate incidents, Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen and adviser Stephen Miller were confronted at Mexican restaurants in Washington, D.

NPR's Susan Davis reported earlier this week on Waters urging confrontation:.

" 'If you think we're rallying now you ain't seen nothing yet,' Rep.

Maxine Waters, D-Calif, told supporters at a rally in Los Angeles over the weekend.

'If you see anybody from that [Trump] Cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd and you push back on them, and you tell them they're not welcome anymore, anywhere.' A video of her remarks was posted on Twitter Sunday.".

Her remarks drew a response from President Trump, who called her "an extraordinarily low IQ person" in a tweet on Monday and warned, "Be careful what you wish for Max!".

Congresswoman Maxine Waters, an extraordinarily low IQ person, has become, together with Nancy Pelosi, the Face of the Democrat Party.

She has just called for harm to supporters, of which there are many, of the Make America Great Again movement.

Be careful what you wish for Max! — Donald J.

Trump.

CNN reported Thursday that Waters said in a statement that after Trump took aim at her on Twitter: "Even more individuals are leaving threatening messages and sending hostile mail to my office.

"There was one very serious death threat made against me on Monday from an individual in Texas which is why my planned speaking engagements in Texas and Alabama were cancelled this weekend," Waters said in the statement.

"This is just one in several very serious threats the United States Capitol Police are investigating in which individuals threatened to shoot, lynch, or cause me serious bodily harm," the statement added.

NPR hasn't independently confirmed the statement.

While details of the Texas event were not immediately known, Waters had been scheduled to speak Friday at the annual legislative conference of the National Organization of Black Elected Legislative Women in Birmingham, Ala.

The event was billed as "NOBEL Women Presents A Moment with Maxine.".

The organization's president, Karen Camper, told the Alabama news website AL.

com that Waters had canceled her appearance because of security concerns.

Texas authorities charge USA Gymnastics trainer for Larry Nassar assault, exonerate Karolyis - Duration: 5:11.

(AP Photo/David J. Phillip, File) Authorities in Texas announced more criminal charges Friday against disgraced former Olympic gymnastics physician Larry Nassar, and also charged a longtime USA Gymnastics trainer who was often in the room as Nassar treated young gymnasts in connection with a sexual assault alleged to have occurred at the Karolyi Ranch

Debbie Van Horn, former medical director for USA Gymnastics, was charged with one count of second-degree sexual assault of a child by the Walker County District Attorney's Office, which also announced six sexual assault charges against Nassar on Friday

While authorities did not release specific details of the facts that gave rise to these charges, it appears Van Horn is being charged for an assault Nassar allegedly committed while she was in the room

Van Horn, who left USA Gymnastics in January, shortly after Nassar was sentenced to 40 to 175 years in prison for molesting nine girls in Michigan, was unable to be reached to comment Friday

During a news conference in Huntsville, Tex., Walker County District Attorney David P

Weeks also took the unusual step of publicly exonerating Bela and Martha Karolyi — the famed Olympic coaches who owned and operated the Texas training camp where many young gymnasts alleged Nassar assaulted them — of wrongdoing, while focusing blame on USA Gymnastics, headquartered in Indianapolis

"Nassar did not work for them," Weeks said. "The people that had control over him failed, simple as that

" John Manly, attorney for more than 150 alleged Nassar victims, called the investigation a "whitewash" and accused local law enforcement of purposely avoiding charging the Karolyis because of their stature in the community

"Our clients have known from the beginning that the Walker County Sheriff's Department, the Texas Rangers and the Walker Country district attorney were going to protect the Karolyis," Manly said

"It boggles the mind that we have Olympians that were abused hundreds of times there … and they can't find one criminal charge against anybody who ran the place

" The lawyer for the Karolyis welcomed Friday's news as supporting his clients' claims that, while they trained Team USA gymnasts for years at their camp, it was USA Gymnastics that employed Nassar, sent him there and ultimately was responsible for overseeing his treatment of America's top young female gymnasts

"This suffering in no way compares to what the girls went through, but the Karolyis are elderly, and they have suffered greatly because of a criminal who came onto their property," attorney David Berg said

Nassar, 54, is serving an effective life sentence in prison for sexually assaulting nine girls and young women in Michigan, as well as for federal child pornography crimes

More than 330 girls and women have alleged he assaulted them, often under the guise of medical treatment, at Michigan State and at gymnastics competitions across the country and around the globe

Nassar worked full time at Michigan State and was also the longtime team trainer for USA Gymnastics women

At Nassar's sentencing hearing this year, Mattie Larson, a former Team USA gymnast, said that Van Horn was in the room "many of the times" Nassar abused her

In the news conference, Walker County officials said they uncovered evidence of wrongdoing by other USA Gymnastics officials that could have led to failure-to-report charges, but those incidents occurred outside the two-year statute of limitations for that crime

While Nassar is in federal prison, Walker County officials said they intend to try to have him brought to Texas for a trial

"Because it's the right thing to do," Weeks said. "Because these victims deserve to be heard

Because they deserve justice."
