It was so stressful, and everyone was worried that it was going to explode."  Despite the drama, there was no explosion and the pair continued working together while co-parenting their daughter, Taylor, 7, and son, Brayden, 2

"Somehow we managed to build something even bigger than we had before," she says

'Hot Felon' Jeremy Meeks' Ex-Wife Celebrates 'Divorce Party' at Las Vegas Strip Club - News Today - Duration: 3:11.

 Melissa Meeks is all about that single life.  While her ex-husband, the "Hot Felon" Jeremy Meeks, does daddy duty, Melissa headed to Las Vegas to throw a "divorce party" (and a few singles at strippers) at the Crazy Horse 3 strip club

 Melissa, who finalized her divorce from Jeremy Meeks in early June, celebrated her unhitched lifestyle by sipping Ciroc and tossing a few dollar bills at the topless dancers

 "I feel like I'm rediscovering myself," she told PEOPLE before heading into the club, adding that she's "looking forward to this new chapter" in her life

 The previous chapter didn't end well, as her ex left her to begin a very public romance with Topshop heiress Chloe Green

 "I'm single and ready to mingle," Melissa said. "I'm there, 100 percent."  On Saturday, though, memories of her ex where present: As she sat at her VIP table with her sister in tow, the words "free at last" hung above her

Also, shortly after arriving at the strip club, she was presented with a cake shaped like handcuffs, a clear reference to her ex

The words "Ex Con 2 Ex Wife" were also on the cake platter.  Despite all the ex bravado, Melissa and Jeremy have an open line of communication now, but only because they share a 9-year-old son, Jeremy Jr

 "We're on good terms for the sake of my son, and that's really all that's important," she said

 But asked if she had a message for Jeremy, she said, "absolutely not."  To say Melissa is a bit of a scorned ex would be fair, especially considering she stood by Jeremy while he was incarcerated

 "It's definitely been a lot of ups and downs," she said, "but I feel like it's all part of a life experience and I'm trying to come into my own and it's just exciting

"  She continued, "That part of my life is a closed chapter, and now I'm ready to basically write the new chapter in my life right now

There were definitely parts of that past chapter that were amazing and definitely parts that were not so amazing, but the future is to be told

She finalized her divorce from Jeremy Meeks last month - and days later he announced the birth of his son with girlfriend Chloe Green, 27.

And the 'Hot Felon's' ex wife Melissa celebrated the end of her marriage with a swanky 'divorce party' held at Crazy Horse III in Las Vegas on Saturday.

The newly single mother-of-one, 37, fully embraced her newfound freedom as she paraded her eye-popping cleavage in a skimpy sequinned mini dress.

Melissa oozed confidence as she flaunted her slender pins in the thigh-skimming design while boosting her hourglass frame in a pair of classic black stiletto heels.

The blonde beauty teamed her glamorous look with a chic black chain shoulder bag and accessorised with enormous silver hoop earrings and a diamond bracelet.

Melissa's golden locks were styled in voluptuous curls and she polished off her sparkling ensemble with a dramatic make-up. After critics suggested that the party and the theme were distasteful when it was first announced in June, Melissa defended herself.

'I plan to enjoy life and experience life as a single woman. I'm really looking forward to meeting new people and my journey ahead,' she told Hollywood Life.

Melissa told the publication: 'I'm celebrating a new chapter in my life and moving forward as hard as the road has been to get here.

I just want people to see me enjoying my self and know that I have moved on and have closure from my divorce.

'I feel this party is a good way to show and share with everyone I'm healed, I'm strong, I'm me and I'm looking and feeling good as ever!'.

Melissa's celebratory shindig comes weeks after her marriage to model Jeremy, 34, finally came to an end, with sources telling TMZ that Jeremy has been granted full physical custody of the couple's 9-year-old son.

Sources told the site that they have also reached a conclusion regarding their division of assets as well as child support and custody agreement - with Jeremy reportedly having to fork out a six-figure sum to his former wife.

Jeremy and Melissa separated in July 2017 when the convict was pictured kissing and hugging Topshop heiress Chloe Green aboard a $150,000-a-week yacht moored off the glamorous Turkish resort of Bodrum, while he was still married to Melissa.

Meanwhile, Jeremy's whirlwind relationship with Chloe has gone from strength to strength, with the couple welcoming their first child together at the end of May.

Chloe and Jeremy confirmed their baby news on their Instagram accounts, writing: 'We are pleased to announce the birth of our beautiful baby boy Jayden Meeks-Green. 'Born May 29th 2018. Mommy and Baby both doing well. Much love Chloe & Jeremy'.

The socialite, who is thought to be engaged to the convict, kept her pregnancy under wraps until June when she unveiled her eye-popping baby bump during a holiday on her father Sir Philip's superyacht in Monaco.

Earlier this year it was claimed that Chloe is not only expecting her first child with Jeremy but is engaged to the former convict as well.

A source told The Daily Mail: 'The family are fully on board planning a wedding, and Tina [Chloe's mother] is looking forward to being a grandmother. Chloe has been telling everyone that she is having a little boy.'.
