Auto news on Youtube Jul 26 2018

Hey everyone! Nice to meet you, my name is John.

And for those who already know me, hi! I am going to start a new segment.

Here in my channel, called Photo Storytime.

Which is basically to give you.

More information and the background about what was happening during the photo.

Well, everything that has a story.

This segment will start with...

This photo.

Do you have any idea about how creepy this place was?

This story begins when my gf and I started our trip to Big Sur, California.

And during the travel, after six hours driving.

She (Erica) decided to take a nap before continue driving to our final destination.

So, she took the first exit she saw in the highway.

And we arrived to this solitary town, there wasn't a single soul in that place.

Fortunately for me, I wanted to pee.

And just between you and me.

I don't like to pee in public open places.

Where there's a lot of people.

Even if it is in a forest or something like that.

I don't like it, not my thing.

This town seems solitary, dead vegetation...

No restaurants...

No people on the streets, no animals...

No police officers, no anything...

Anyway

Erica started to take her nap...

In U.S.A they have a label for some people.

And it is Red Neck, "cuello rojo"

And it has a lot of connotations...

From my perspective, I see it like hate

To Latin American people and also to some other cultures...

I wanna say that not all of them are like that.

But there are some like that.

So there's me.

A tico that looks more Latino than "Cantinflas".

Okay, so going back to our first stop.

Erica is already taking her nap.

And me...

As I told you wanted to pee so badly.

I told Erica, I'll try to find a place to pee.

And also to drink something.

I saw a couple things around me...

Some trailers, streets really long...

I walked some minutes till I saw a Post Office...

And I though they would have a restroom or at least to know where is one...

So I decided to go and ask...

Here I am in the reception.

And there's no one.

Literally and with all the respect for the affected people...

I felt I was in this movie called Texas Massacre...

Here you go a video sample in case you don't know which I am talking about.

I rang the bell and asked to the woman.

If she knew about any restrooms or restaurants nearby.

She told two blocks north from the firehouse.

I said thanks, and guess what...

I had no idea.

Where was the north.

I started to walk to see if I was able to find any restaurant...

Police Station, fireman, somewhere to...

Pee... and for my fortune, no there was no place in that town .

I saw a woman like 2 km away running with her dogs, coming in my direction...

A very old woman.

I asked her if she knew about any public restroom or restaurant around.

She told me there was one 20 miles, 32 km!!

She told me I had to go back 32 km.

To see again a restaurant or a restroom.

32 km!!!

I even thought to pee,

Next to the car with the door open.

But in every single version of me doing it...

I ended up dead, human traffic in China,

Knock-Out

And so many other things, that for me...

Peeing on the street was not an option.

It was not gonna happen or at least not that day.

Walking back to Erica's car. Already resigned to piss myself.

And...

Possibly get mutilated.

I'm walking... when...

I had that beautiful view.

Lines...

That made a perfect composition for me.

That beautiful landscape, dead and life nature...

Solitary...

Parts of the land.

The grey street...

Those lines that take you from the beginning to the end...

Something completely different that I didn't see during my travel in California.

And "PAAAAAAWN"

I took off my phone...

Yes, cause I took this photo with my phone... I didn't have my camera with me

I checked some positions, I was not worried cause there wasn't commin' any car.

So I was able to stay in the middle of the street and I will be ok.

For me, this is one of the best photos I've taken.

I just really love it.

I think there's no,

better satisfaction than coming from a travel,

See those pictures and I have all those stories.

That I needed to get to that simple photo.

Also,

I believe that it doesn't matter what kind of camera you have...

If you have an amazing attitude to take these photos

That you like, that other people like and that you can tell a story.

Without having words on the same.

Okay!! This has been the first video of Photo Storytime

I hope you've like it.

If you liked it, don't forget to like it and comment below your ideas and what would you like me to tell you....

And being able to know if you liked this segment.

See ya in the next video!

Fighting Regiments of War of Rights - 1st Texas "Ragged Old First" - Duration: 4:07.

After the heavy hitting attack of the Union Western Iron Brigade, Stonewall Jackson saw

his line about to break in 2 so he called for his last reserves into the fight for the

northern part of the battlefield.

His reserves consisted of Hood's division, made up of the brigades of Wofford's Texans

and Law's Mississippians.

Wofford's Texas Brigade was sent into a frenzy after being denied their breakfast

and charged to the front.

Their charge broke up the federal offensive and sent them running.

The 1st Texas did not stop chasing the retreating federals and chased them into and through

the corn.

Without the support of other regiments, their ranks were ferociously raked by canister and

rifle shot and were sent reeling.

The 1st Texas Infantry Regiment, nicknamed the Old Ragged First for their dirty and ragged

appearance, was raised from the counties of East Texas.

The 1st Texas was formed in August of 1861 was presented their famous Wigfall flag by

Jefferson Davis and first see combat in the peninsula Campaign.

They would rise to prominence along with their brigade after the battles of Gaines Mill and

Second manassas.

During the maryland campaign, the 1st texas would be led by Lt Colonel Philip A Work.

They would be attached to the famed Texas Brigade under the command of William T Wofford.

1st texas along with their brigade would be the first confederates to spill blood at the

night before the battle of antietam during a skirmish in the east woods.

Due to this fight they were placed in reserves for the fighting in the morrow.

As the battle weary confederates started to rout and the confederate line was about to

break in two, the Texas Brigade was rushed forward to fill the crumbling line and succeeded

in stopping the federal push but at their own demise, the first rushed forward only

to be shot to pieces in their counterattack, losing 186 out of their 226 combatants, a

casualty rate of 82.3 percent.

This staggering casualty rate was the highest suffered by any regiment, North or South,

on a single day, during the entire war.

The first is equipped with the M1842 Springfield Musket, the M1853 Enfield Rifle, and the M1855

Springfield Rifle with their bayonets.

The M1842 Springfield Smoothbore Musket has two types of ammunition, medium range large

.69 caliber round ball or the powerful short range buck and ball.

The M1853 Enfield and the M1855 Springfield rifles are both exceptional at medium and

long ranges with their .58 caliber minie ball.

The old ragged first is dressed differently from the standard cadet gray uniforms.

Their uniforms consisted of a butternut jacket with black collar and cuffs.

Their pants range from union blue to confederate butternut and gray.

Their covers range from butternut kepis to brown and black felt hats.

The first can be seen carrying two different flags.

You can see some sporting different emblems on their kepis.

Unlike the majority of confederate regiments, the first carried two flags, their famous

Wigfall flag and the standard confederate battle flag.

In war of rights, you can find the first texas attacking millers cornfield along with 18th

georgia as they fight to regain the cornfield from the defending federals.

Now what would you do?

Will you charge into the corn with the fiery texans or drive them back?

Lena Dunham, Sia, Amber Heard Protest Texas Border Facility for Unaccompanied Minors - Duration: 5:57.

Celebrities Lena Dunham, Amber Heard, and Sia held up signs and demonstrated outside a border facility housing unaccompanied immigrant minors in Texas on Sunday, in protest of the Trump administration's now-halted family separation policy

In a photo posted to Instagram, Dunham and various other celebrities are seen demonstrating with handmade signs — saying "Separating families is cruel" and This is about humanity" — in Tornillo, Texas

We came to Tornillo, Texas, to show our solidarity with the families who have been separated, the children who are alone and the parents who are grieving and the undocumented Americans who are losing more than I can fathom

Thank you, Tornillo, for showing us a warm border welcome and reminding us that together we rise

"Thank you, Tornillo, for showing us a warm border welcome and reminding us that together we rise

"  Sia called on her nearly 4.2 million followers to donate to Voto Latino, a nonprofit that aims to "empower young Latinos to be agents of change

" The singer said she will match donations up to $100,000. Help @votolatino do imperative work to protect and serve our asylum seekers

I will match all donations up to $100k. please RT votolatino.org/donate A post shared by SIA (@siamusic) on Jun 24, 2018 at 9:36am PDT  Posing outside the town's Port of Entry, Heard posted a photo with a sign that reads, "Apartheid was legal

Holocaust was legal. Legality is a matter of power, not justice." Law is meant to protect and defend justice, not destroy it

A post shared by Amber Heard (@amberheard) on Jun 24, 2018 at 10:34am PDT  The celebrity-led protests come after Democrats mistakenly protested facilities in Tornillo this week, thought to house immigrant children — instead, the shelter is filled with adult border crossers

The American-Statesman writes:   On Wednesday, President Donald Trump signed an executive order to end the separations — part of his administration's "zero tolerance" immigration policy — but it was unclear how his order might affect the tent city that has been erected at the border crossing

The site has become a hotbed of protesters in recent days as bipartisan pressure grew for Trump to halt the separations

The border control facility at Tornillo has about 360 teenage immigrants who entered the country illegally, unaccompanied by adults

Federal officials are considering expanding the tent city's capacity to house as many as 4,000 children

President Donald Trump said on Sunday that America's immigration system is "laughed at all over the world

"  "We cannot allow all of these people to invade our Country," tweeted the President

"When somebody comes in, we must immediately, with no Judges or Court Cases, bring them back from where they came

Our system is a mockery to good immigration policy and Law and Order."  "Our Immigration policy, laughed at all over the world, is very unfair to all of those people who have gone through the system legally and are waiting on line for years!" he added

On Wednesday, President Trump signed an Executive Order putting an end to the family separation policy

"We're going to have strong, very strong borders, but we're going to keep the families together," President Trump told reporters at the White House before signing the directive

"I didn't like the sight or the feeling of families being separated."
