Takayama is a pleasant mountain town in the northern Japan Alps famous for its well preserved

old district, woodworking, and its festival.

Located in the mountainous Hida Region in the northern part of Gifu Prefecture, Takayama

(which is often called Hida Takayama to distinguish it from other places of the same name) can

be reached in just under two and a half hours from Nagoya via the JR Hida Limited Express

train and in about 5 and half hours from Tokyo by direct highway bus.

Here are a few other options to access Takayama, which may be helpful depending on your location.

Takayama has been renowned for many centuries for its high-quality timber and the skill

of its carpenters; aspects that are still prominently displayed through the town's architecture.

In the feudal days of the Edo period, when Japan was ruled by dozens of regional lords

(called daimyo), the shogun in Edo had direct control over a few strategically important

locations (such as Sado Island for its gold & silver mines, and Nagasaki for its port).

Takayama used to be one such location due to its excellent wood and talented craftsmen,

which were highly valuable commodities in those days.

This brought significant wealth to the town and its merchants.

Even today Hida lumber, wood crafts, and furniture remain famous nation-wide.

Takayama is also an excellent base from which you can reach many nearby worthwhile locations

such as the beautiful nature of Okuhida as well as Shirakawago's massive farmhouses.

With this in mind, here are our Top 5 Recommendations for Takayama and the nearby areas.

Number Five: Takayama Jinya

As mentioned earlier, because of its valuable timber resources, in the late 1600s

Takayama was put under direct control of the Tokugawa Shogunate.

Staffed by officials sent from Edo (or Tokyo), the Takayama Jinya building complex in the

middle of town served as the local government office until the Meiji Restoration in 1868.

Today the buildings still stand and have been turned into a well-maintained museum where

visitors can walk through the large tatami rooms which were once offices, conference

rooms, and there is even an interesting "interrogation room".

Also, next to the main building is the largest traditional rice storehouse in Japan which

now showcases many historical items and documents.

Number Four: Takayama Festival

Alongside the Kyoto Gion Matsuri and also Chichibu Night Festival, the Takayama Festival

is ranked as one of Japan's three most beautiful festivals.

Occurring twice each year this is not only a fun event to witness but also showcases

the town's incredible woodworking abilities.

The main attractions of the event are the parade of heavily decorated yatai, or festival floats,

performances with highly sophisticated wooden karakuri dolls decorating the floats,

and the procession of the ornate mikoshi through the town's streets which contain the shinto

deities of the main shrine.

Perhaps the highlight of the whole festival is on the evening of the first day when the

floats are pulled through the streets of Takayama's old town for several hours.

These two festivals which take place each Spring on April 14th and 15th as well as in

Autumn on October 9th and 10th.

During these dates, Takayama becomes extremely crowded with visitors.

If you hope to see one of the festivals, we highly recommend arranging accommodations

well in advance since lodging throughout the city gets booked many months beforehand.

Number Three: Okuhida Onsen

In our opinion, the Okuhida Region is one of the best places in Japan for experiencing

large outdoor hot spring baths in beautiful natural surroundings.

From central Takayama it's an easy side trip to any of the five onsen towns in the

Okuhida Region.

Each town has its own character and offers public bathhouses or ryokan with luxurious

open-air baths (called rotemburo) from which bathers can admire the surrounding Northern

Japan Alps while they soak.

We highly recommend staying overnight at one of the many onsen ryokan in the Okuhida region,

especially one with a rustic, local atmosphere and includes meals around a fireplace.

Guests of these Japanese style inns are given unlimited access to the pools at the inn where

they are staying.

Most ryokan will also welcome daytime visitors, but will charge an admission fee.

A prime example being the Suimeikan Karukaya.

If you end up the Shin-Hotaka onsen town, also be sure to ride the Shin-Hotaka ropeway

which features Japan's first double decker gondola and also has incredible views of the

Northern Japan Alps from the top.

Number Two: Shirakawago

Shirakawago is a formerly remote area where unique, massive gassho-zukuri farmhouses have

survived and can be viewed.

It can be reached in an hour by bus from the Takayama bus center located

just next to the JR Takayama train station.

Although only a few decades ago this farming village was relatively unknown, in 1995 the

area achieved UNESCO Cultural Heritage Status, only the fourth location to do so in Japan,

and has since become one of the most popular tourist destinations in the entire country.

The main attraction of Shirakawago is Ogimachi, which is the section of town with the highest

concentration of gassho-zukuri farmhouses, some of which are more than 250 years old.

"Gassho-zukuri" means "constructed like hands in prayer" because it's said the

steep thatched-roofs look like the praying hands of a Buddhist monk.

Impressively, these extremely solid houses are constructed without using any nails

yet have withstood the large amounts of snow the valley receives each winter for centuries.

Several of these farmhouses, such as the Wada house, are open to the public and many also

offer overnight stays which (in our opinion) is the best way to experience Shirakawago.

Usually these stays are fully booked several months in advance, so we recommend making

reservations well ahead of time if you are hoping to spend a night in a farmhouse.

Shirakawago is extremely picturesque in any season.

In spring there are cherry blossoms, in summer the town is green and lush, fall brings beautiful

colors, and in winter the areas is covered in a blanket of snow and there are night illuminations.

If you are unable to make it all the way to Shirakawa-go from Takayama, an excellent alternative

is Hida no Sato.

This well-done open air museum features over 30 traditional buildings from the Hida region

and is located right in Takayama.

Number One: Takayama Old Town

Featuring buildings dating back as far the 1600s, Takayama's Old Town district is one

of the best preserved historic districts in the entire country and definitely a must-see destination.

Walking these atmospheric streets, visitors experience a first-hand glimpse of what it

was like to visit Takayama during the Edo period.

The Old Town can be reached in an easy ten minute walk from Takayama Station.

There are also local buses which can be boarded at the station as well.

The Old Town area of Takayama is made up primarily of three streets,

IchinoMachi, Ninomachi, and Sannomachi.

Particularly worthwhile is Sannomachi Street which has many old homes, shops, cafes, and

sake breweries, some of which have been in business since the 17th century.

Also nearby is the Hachiman Shrine to which the autumn Takayama Festival is dedicated,

and several historic houses of local merchant families that have been opened to the public.

In the Northern part of the Old Town is where one of Takayama's two daily morning markets is held.

Here vendors sell local produce and crafts.

We hope this top five list gives you a good place to start when planning your trip to Takayama.

Archaelogy Lab Henry's Rock [Guide] [Payday 2] - Duration: 3:58.

I know Henry's Rock has been played to death

by most of us here

but there will always be new players

playing this for the first time.

In fact,

one of you might even be watching this video

through the Steam overlay right now,

so let's get to it!

So when Locke (that voice in the background)

constantly bugs us to look for clues or symbols,

he means to search through these stacks of documents

scattered around the lab.

And after searching them,

we'll either see blank ones (which we can ignore),

or ones with a photograph.

Each clue like this actually has two parts;

the symbol,

and the order.

So here's a quick example from the game I just did;

Waves symbol (number 2),

feather (number 1)

and the scarab beetle (number 3),

which when rearranged becomes

"Feather, Waves, Beetle".

Enter that into the ark-like thing

and after a short bit it should open,

leaving us a box to grab for our next objective.

And in an online game,

it will be helpful to inform our team

by typing it out in the chat

like "Waves 2" or "Feather 1",

to help things move along faster.

And then before you go,

be sure to grab this achievement if you haven't already.

After picking up the box from the ark,

we can press the symbols at the bottom in this order;

centre, right and then left.

I won't spoil what's in the box

so check it out for yourselves!

As usual, a gameplay is coming right up

if watching some live action helps you to understand better.

Also, you can check out my other video

on how to get all the Henry's Rock achievements.

Thanks again for watching,

I'll catch you guys in the next video.

The Gentleman's Guide to Vampires: V5 Episode Two - The Second Inquisition - Duration: 25:33.

So you've come back. Well that's good, because it means you were listening to

me when we last spoke. Now it means you've learned something.

Vampires burn so easily these nights, like dry kindling they just go up in

flames, because they're not listening to their elders, not listening to vampires

that know a little more. I do enjoy coming out of twilight such

as this .The sun has only just gone down, there's still enough light to navigate

the countryside, and I heard what you were saying to your companions in your

coterie: That surely a Cainite or Kindred wandering in the countryside is

insanity. You've all heard the tales of werewolves hunting down vampires in the

countryside. Well as luck would have it, I am quite close companions with another

vampire who's fairly highly ranked in an organisation, that, well, has seized this

territory from werewolves. Don't you worry, we are quite safe quite safe here.

We should talk a little about other threats, but as for the werewolves, yes if you

were traveling between cities I would be concerned. If I was in the middle of the

suburbs I might be concerned. But the organisation, the creatures that pose us

the greatest threat tonight, are the mortals, and there is nothing so

undignifying as being hunted by your own food source. But such is life, that is the

way we are now. This Second Inquisition that you so often hear about, the

boogeyman to our kind, existed for little more than a decade, and yet they have

already purged a number of us from existence. Some of our greatest some of our

greatest domains put to the torch, sometimes literally, by kine... Does it not

just make the blood rise up? But the Second Inquisition is not some

monolithic entity that acts as one, that shares information from point A to point

Z. That's not how they work. I am no expert, but I do know that the Second

Inquisition is a name we have given them because they are all kinds of bodies:

Governmental bodies, they have bureaucratic bodies, they are private

organisations, in some case private paramilitary companies... These groups that

we call Second Inquisition do not share information because just like anyone who

has tasted a little bit of power they want to keep it to themselves, because

they think they're right. So you have fundamentally fanatically religious

inquisitors, you also have inquisitors that are doing this for science, and you

also have inquisitors that wish to seize us alive, such as we are, and find out a

little more about us. What makes us tick. Do we tick?

I suppose you would have to ask an inquisitor that's delved within a chest

cavity. I don't intend to do that. But let us as we often do go to the start of

the Inquisition journey... At least this one... No, we could go back further. You

might recall that I mentioned to you the the reason the Inquisition came

after us so fanatically in the Dark Ages was because we pushed them to do so.

It was our action, our pride, our foolhardiness that resulted in them being

manipulated to turn on us. When an overreaching Brujah commands an

Inquisitor to take out my Gangrel rivals in this territory: "They're impure, they're

unholy." Inquisitor nods. She takes all of the information given to her quite

readily by the Brujah. She goes to the Gangrel haven, she burns that little

coterie out, but then she has a decision to make. "If those things were unholy, if

those things were unnatural, what was the monster that commanded me to come here? They

certainly showed the same telltale signs of being a creature of darkness." And so

that Inquisitor gathers some friends goes back to the Brujah and burns the

Brujah out of their haven. This happened for centuries and the Inquisition — the

first Inquisition — only really died down when the Camarilla was brought into force,

and some hubris taught us "well if we've got the Masquerade, we will never be caught

again." It is perhaps an irony that it was the Camarilla that caused the Second

Inquisition to really gain its feet. Yes, books like the Jyhad Diary if it fell

into the hands of the CIA or some great intelligence organisation, it may have

spurred them into looking into our existence, but a piece of what could

ultimately be fictional, the ravings of a madman, isn't going to set an entire

government on our trail. No, that took the concerted effort of the

Camarilla. The founders of the Masquerade, they led to the Masquerade's downfall, at

least in some domains, and perhaps I should give you the example of one such

domain. I'll tell you the story of London. The Camarilla realised that rather than

going to war with the Sabbat using their own blood they would start using their

mortal assets to do so instead. They had grown so deeply embedded into

surveillance organisations, into intelligence organisations, they started

feeding them information about Sabbat, calling them terrorists, saying they were

harbuoring terrorists, and other fundamentalist groups, and so they would

use the Inquisition to move in, purge — you can see the trend here, this happened 800

years prior. Well, the Second Inquisition — as I call them that as a larger body

although as we have ascertained they do not work in a synchronised fashion — they

started learning, and London was where it all came to a head because... there was a

Cainite of London, I knew him as Mithras, the God-Emperor, the

Unconquered Sun, very much a god of war, came over with a roman invasion but

existed for many millennia before that. One of the eldest Ventrue to exist. A

grand and noble and righteous vampire who I would lay down my existence for again

and again. He was Prince of London for a long time and was believed fallen in the

late 1990s after destroying an entire sept of werewolves.

He fell to the unworthy fangs or a Banu Haqim of the Sabbat by the name of Monty... The

ignominy of falling to diablerie, to Monty Coven. But Monty Coven drank

Mithras, his broken form. Drank the blood, drank the soul, Mithras was no more.

Except Mithras did of course survive. Mithras existed within Monty Coven

because what young diablarists never understand is they need to take their

fill and leave. If they keep drinking they will just find their personality

gradually replaced by the more powerful vampire they have devoured, and so this

happened to Monty Coven. I know because I was his adviser just as I was Mithras'

adviser before Monty, and Monty as Mithras wished to regain his praxis. He

was always the Prince of London but Monty was Sabbat. Mithras was nominally a

Camarilla, and there was a new prince in town: Anne Bowesley,

formerly Lady Anne, now Queen Anne. So Mithras stuck to the shadows, arranged a

shadow government one could say, and so it was, for a little while, at least. Mithras

came to me in recent years and he said: "There is a war coming. A war that I have

been anticipating for over a thousand years. The war that I have sought." Mithras

was a god of war, you understand, and so he said "this war is going to come to

London's very street,s my domain will be drenched in blood," and I said "my prince,

then we must arrange the battlements, we should arrange to fight back, we should

arm ourselves, or we should all flee. We should hide, we should hunker down, lock

ourselves in our sepulchres, and wait for this war to pass." And at the time I

thought he was talking about mortal terrorism perhaps, or the Sabbat in number

that would not care for Monty Coven as Mithras and he corrected me and

he said "the war at our door is the Inquisition. The Inquisition will attack

our city." "You," he pointed at me, "and my cult must leave,

must move the cult to a safe harbour, another domain under his control, all

take a vial of his blood his vitae, and leave the city for him to defend." I did

not ask him why he did not speak to the other Kindred of the city, the ones not

of his cult: Lady Anne, Valerius, other great Kindred, but he did not inform them

of this coming war, and so we left at our prince's order with his vitae around our

necks him, with enough to keep him fuelled for battle we could say, and so when

battle arrived, Mithras watched as havens were burned,

Kindred fell in the streets, the Second Inquisition they tore through

the London Underground, they visited all those abandoned stations the Nosferatu —

who thought they were so smart to inhabit — they went to the old places and

the new. They purged London of its Kindred. And you may be thinking, "why did

Mithras not stop this?" and I cannot speak for that. All I know is he got the war

that he had been wanting. His great bath of blood.

All those Kindred that had clearly failed him time and time again fell and

so it was just Mithras standing when the Second Inquisition came to his door. He

met them with righteous anger, great might, and bravery. He fell, but took many

of them with him. But I can be assured that he fell with a

smile on his face. Is Mithras gone? I know my lord and

prince better than that. But London was purged clean. The Inquisition are capable

of this. One could ponder if Mithras had informed all other Camarilla vampires

that this was happening, would the Second Inquisition have even gained enough wind,

enough impetus to move on to another domain. If they had been neutered there,

and then, would they have been stopped in their tracks?

Perhaps. Maybe Mithras wanted it this way, He is not the sole figure to blame for

this, not at all. It was the Camarilla who had constantly been moving mortals

around like they were playing on some great military map. Mithras was only

ever Camarilla in name. He wanted this. He enjoyed it. London suffered and burned

and bled at his pleasure. But the Inquisition were not done.

Whether it was through information gleaned in London or elsewhere, whether

it was the same part of the Inquisition that did this, I do not know. But I do

know that the next place they targeted en masse was Vienna. Vienna. What do you

know of Vienna, childe? What Kindred are known to inhabit that august city? The

Warlocks. Clan Tremere.

Yes, there are other Kindred, but it is known that the Tremere stronghold was in

Vienna, and now you notice I use the word "was." I cannot attest to how they did it, but

the Inquisition successfully decapitated Clan Tremere in their very home.

Imagine the pyramid with no peak. Is it still a pyramid if its head has been cut

off? My understanding is the entire Council of Seven, even Tremere himself in

whatever form he took — referring to that Jyhad Diary I was telling you about, he

was by that point an armless, legless, and spineless worm, quite literally — they all

burned. They all met Final Death. Tremere lost their leadership. What happens when

you are a clan defined by your leadership commands and and that leadership

suddenly disappears? Well, that's when you fracture, little neonate. That's when you

form Houses. House Tremere, House Goratrix, House Carna, and we will discuss

this a little more when we talk about clans in greater detail. But needless to

say, the rumour mill has it the Second Inquisition thought that Vienna was

the home of all vampires. After all, it is in Eastern Europe, it ties into the

mythology, and believe me, these inquisitors believe their mythology. I

have heard of these inquisitors approaching us with garlic. I have heard

them holding crosses aloft. I have heard that they believe that shooting a

stake through our heart will disintegrate us into ash. They have been watching a

little too much pop culture and interviewing too few of us. That is why

these books such as the Jyhad Diary are so dangerous, because they can learn a

little more about the truth. It is however interesting to see how quickly

they parse the truth from the lies, and we will have to see the result of that in

time.

I'm sometimes asked what is the best method of combating the Second Inquisition,

and there is no easy answer to that. After all, they are mortals they have the

sun on their side, and that is a great and powerful weapon that we have very

little defence against. One of the reasons I come out at twilight is quite

simply because they're not looking for us when the sun has only just gone down.

I ensure my ghoul wakes me as soon as she can, and I take a walk while I can still

admire the flowers in the garden. But either way, how to combat mortality? We do

not wish to destroy them. After all, they are our source of blood now, and we do

not have the numbers or weaponry to do so. We've already seen what happens when

you try to manipulate them. Eventually one vampire gets a little full of

themselves. A little too consumed with pride, and pushes those inquisitors a

little too far, only to find that doing so will get them destroyed. So what to do?

Well you sow misinformation. You play on the mythos. You play on the rumour mill.

You expect them to digest every little seed of misinformation you feed them,

because they love to learn. They love to learn about this, they love to think that they

are smarter than us, but we have centuries, millennia on our side. We know

how mortals work. They do not yet know exactly how we work, and that is why it

is a frightening prospect to consider that they take us from our crypts and

they interview us in interrogation chambers as if we were mortal terrorists,

and they were trying to pump us for information. Because I have every belief

that neonates such as you, weak blooded Kindred such as you, would give up

anything for another night of life. Well, I can tell you that another night of

life isn't so precious if it means your entire society will collapse as a result.

The Camarilla has, as a result, become infinitely more elitist. They are afraid

that the Anarchs will bring the Inquisition to their door. They do not

accept that they are in large part responsible for the condition that we

exist in tonight. So they carve out the Anarchs from Camarilla domains. They send

them away. They say "you can no longer be in this city. This is a Camarilla city."

And when they do that, they weaken their number, but they ensure their Masquerade.

The Camarilla fight them by hiding. The Anarchs fight them by wearing cloaks

woven of mortal flesh. Not a literal thing, you understand, but I

do the same thing. I surround myself with kine. They may be heavy on my

shoulders, they may make me slow my pace, because I have to maintain them, but if I

am masqueraded by mortals I am not being looked for. And you can see I don't find

it easy to hide. I look quite ill in fact. But that is something I cannot control.

Thankfully, if I choose just the right mortals to surround me, we can all look a

little ill. We can all hide me, and so wearing a coat of mortals is quite an

effective means of hiding. So while the Camarilla hides in its skyscrapers, many

floors above where the mortals walk, and the Anarchs walk among the huddled

masses, and the Sabbat... well, the Sabbat are a story for another time... We try to

survive the Inquisition. But it is not going anywhere. The only time it will

fade is when it thinks it has destroyed all of us or when one of us decides to

get to a point where we can control the heads of information in all the

countries where these inquisitors have arisen, and that is not going to happen

any time soon, if ever, although certainly Kindred like Marcus Vitel have

pretensions of achieving such an act.

One of the places where the Second Inquisition hit us hardest, one of the

reasons they knew exactly where to strike us, why elders great and powerful

often quite removed from Kindred society burned where they slept, was because of a

thing called "SchreckNET." Have you heard of SchreckNET? It no longer exists. It was a

Nosferatu online information network. It wasn't just some forum or chat server. This was a grand old database in the dark net that detailed secrets. Hundreds,

thousands of secrets tied to Kindred dead and still extant. But somehow, and I

do not know how, the Inquisition got inside SchreckNET. They discovered it. They

worked out how to get through it, and when they discovered it, it wasn't long

before the Nosferatu noticed. I understand they tried to perform a heavy purge of their

information, but how much of that was seized by the Inquisition, I cannot say.

The Nosferatu — all credit to them — they went to their masters in the Camarilla.

They grovelled and they kneeled and they wept, and they said "we did not know. We

could not have anticipated it." But let me point something out:

The Nosferatu took far fewer blows to their power bases than any other clan. Oh,

it is believable the Nosferatu purged their information before anyone else's,

but I think it is more likely the Nosferatu were using SchreckNET to

chronicle other clans' information. They were never storing theirs there,

because they always had it in their minds that someone might get in. They do

not threaten themselves in this. They led to the death of hundreds of Kindred

and they are yet to be held accountable. Perhaps because the Camarilla is in

desperate need of enforces, spies, and numbers, and Nosferatu are for the time

being loyal to the idea of the Masquerade. I suppose they have to be,

looking as they do. The Second Inquisition started because Cainites and Kindred

were foolhardy. We thought we were the gods. We have not been gods for millennia.

No matter what the Sabbat might tell you, we are weak when we're on our own.

We need our sects to hide us. Our domains and our herds to hide us. They will

continue until we convince it that we are gone, until it is destroyed, or we

come to exist in this new state of being: A permanent fear that we might burn any

day, any night. That is no way for a Cainite of my age to exist, so I have plans

and you should make plans as well.

Never make the mistake of attempting to manipulate kine

in great positions of power. It has been tried before, and every time it comes

back to bite, and despite my warning you of this I know that you and Kindred like

you will attempt it. Someone will think "the president is mighty dopey, let's try

and get in his head." As soon as you try something like that, as soon as someone

notices something is wrong, this is

when the information networks around the world are on to us.

We have very few places to hide and the one coda to this little lecture is

a question I'm often asked: "Why has the general public not reacted? Why have they

not started publishing stories in the newspapers? Why have they not started

spreading stories online ? Why have they not created their silly little vlogs

saying 'I've seen a vampire, I know a vampire, vampires exist?'" and it's because

the intelligence networks — this Second Inquisition — who can trace us with heat,

they can trace us via pulse, they can trace us by the electricity our body

should be giving off, they have their equipment in cameras, they have their

equipment in sensors, they have weapons specifically designed to take us down,

and yet they have not told the public that we exist. Why is that? Is it because

they're afraid the public will panic, so like any good intelligence service they

keep the clandestine clandestine? Or is it because they're just like us? When these

mortals get a handful of power, a handful of influence over something they don't

quite understand, but they know is powerful, they want to keep it from the

masses, the mob, the ill-educated. Because we have seen this before, haven't

we? And whether it's information, whether

it's nuclear weapons, whether it's anything when a government

gets something the public wouldn't understand, they keep it to themselves.

Because I guarantee there is a man in the CIA, and there is a man in MI5, and

there is a man in the Society of Leopold. They all think that "when I know

everything there is to know about the Kindred, when I know everything there is

to know about vampires, I can control them, I could turn them against my

enemies," and just like that, we come full circle in a weird state of affairs.

I think that's my time to go.

🔴SUPERCHARGE your Android Box / Android TV guide. (Faster & Cooler) 2018 - Duration: 8:56.

hey techdoctor what's the best way I can supercharge my Android box and make

it run as fast and cool as possible well in this video today I'll be showing you

my top tips on how you can get the best possible performance from your Android

box so it all of that being said let's get

okay so I'm doing all of my tweaks on my Android box which is the Android MX 10

but you can also apply these tweaks on any other Android box but also the

official Android TV boxes like the show me me box or the Nvidia shield so let me

just say right off the bat guys I would say probably the number one reason for a

box performing slow is to do with RAM or to do with RAM management now what this

means is how many things are running in the background and how much RAM your

device has to be able to run and manage those things at the same time so one of

the first things you can do which is going to be the first tip is to

uninstall any program or app that you're not currently using so the way we do

that is if we go to your settings go into your applications and we can see

guys all of the applications that you have installed anything that you're not

using just uninstall it so for example I'm not using this habits click on that

now click on full stop click on OK and click on uninstall so the full stop just

ensures that if it is running in the background it will be terminated first

then you can uninstall it cleanly so not only have you gained some space back on

your device if that particular application had some processes running

in the background and installing that would obviously remove that as well so

this will definitely help out your device perform better let's remove this

one here click on uninstall click on OK and that's now also gone because we know

with certain applications they do receive notification so I love them do

have some background processes which they leave running to receive those

notifications but again if we uninstall them they'll prevent that happening ok

so that's the first tip ok so I mentioned RAM management so one of the

things that Apple has been doing really well for a very long time is they just

don't allow many applications to run in the background obviously the core Apple

apps you can run any third-party application you try an install on your

you know your iPhone or your iPad it just can't run in the background because

Apple just don't allow it and this is one of the key reasons why I believe

right up to i phone 6 the devices or those phones only had one gig of ram

which just sounds like solo but those devices only had one gig of ram just

because because it really heard the memory management under control whereby

we just don't allow things to run in the background now compare that to Android

they've had like you know two gig full gig I think some funds even come out now

with like 8 gig ram just because the disc on seem to manage the memory as

well as iPhones so this is one of the reasons why I interference tend to have

more RAM than iPhones just because on Android is a bit more like the Wild West

in terms of what kerning in the background or his iPhones are a lot more

strict and a lot more lock down and they limit what kind of things can run in the

background now the reason why I told you this all back story is the fact that we

can actually apply it tweak on our Android devices to limit how many things

can run in the background so the session gonna be two tips in one and the way we

do that is we have to enable the developer options so on your Android

phone or your Android box we go over to settings again and go over to about so

we need to enable the developer options because this one the hidden settings in

there and the way we do that is if we go down into build where it says your build

number and if you take care about seven or eight times or one two three

she even tells you no I see your four clicks or four steps from being in

developer so keep clicking array we're now a developer so what this basically

means is we've now unlocked those hidden developer options and the way we access

those if you back out of this so we can now see in the standard settings we have

developer options lets us open that up so there are quite a lot of cool things

in here that you can play about with but you can actually really mess up your

device so unless you know what you're doing I advise you not to play with

these settings except ones I'm going to tell you to play with so if you scroll

down so the first thing we're looking for is animation so Android to make

yourself look a bit nice and pretty it has different animation settings

which are these things here so you got the animation scale for the windows for

transitions and animation the animated duration scale so this basically means

you know how slowly to animate something so when you're transitioning between

applications when you're minimizing things when you reopen things how slowly

should I do that so it can look quite nice but if you're after maximum

performance you want to turn these three things off because basically saying is I

don't want to see the animation I want to see it go nicely up and not see down

just take me back to my application or to ever I was doing so the way we do

that is just click on this first and select off open the next one and let's

select off and open the last one and select animation of so once again which

is saying we about animations we don't have a

super-powerful box we just want to make it run as fast as possible and these

three settings here will definitely make it do that and this is the other key

thing here guys so if we scroll down we're now looking for background process

limits so this is basically saying on an operating system level

how many background processes can run at the same time in the background so as I

previously mentioned if you do have lot of applications installed and running in

the background that can definitely slow down your device especially if you only

have one or two gig ram you really are putting a lot of strain on your device

so one of the things you can do here is is limit how many of those background

processes can run at the same time so it's click on that now see what the

option of saying standard limit which is a default so you got no background

processes so I definitely recommend don't do this one because you're

basically saying nothing and running in the background and if we did this on a

cell phone you could potentially just you know crush your device I definitely

don't do that I personally think having four things running the background is is

okay it's not too much it's not too less I think with this you should be able to

run most of the things you want to do especially on an Android book so you

could be running your VPN in the background maybe one of your apks and

you know have to space with two more things so so you can try with this first

and if you really think this is too many things running in the background you can

maybe go down to three I personally wouldn't go down to two or one because I

think that's just going to mess up your device but you know if you really have

like a super cheap device maybe you could try to but I think four or three

should make a massive difference compared to like what you had before so

let me just leave for for now now one of the other key things to mention here is

on certain devices you can set this thing now but if you do actually reboot

your device this may go back to the standard limit so if so if you do reboot

your device definitely go back in here and make sure it's still set to at the

most four processes so we've turned off all the animations and we set the

background process limit to four okay let's back out of that okay so next up

we have ventilation so as with pretty much all devices once you start getting

too hot it can cause problems so but for example on a fire stake when it does get

to a certain temperature the device our she restarts and on Android box is

having the device running too hot for a long time you will also get crashes

maybe your device will readily to restore and this could also affect the

lifespan of your device so we if you want to keep our device running

as cool as possible so a small quick hack we can do is we can buy a small USB

fan from Amazon or from ebay literally for like five or ten dollars places

underneath your device and this will keep your device running cool most under

boxes at least have one or two USB ports so you can literally plug it in it

doesn't need any extra power and this will allow your device to keep cool

while you're using it okay so the last tip as we know the Google Play Store

will look at your device and then based on your device it will show you which

applications you can install and which applications you can't install so

because of that you may be limited in what you can install on your Android box

now one way to get around that is to use a different application store so the

applications that I'm going to show you in this video is called aptoide TV now

the way we get that is if you open up a browser like puffin TV or Chrome open up

a browser and just search for aptoide TV now we can see it's the first link in

the results let's click on that now this will take you to the official upload TV

web site and we can then click on the orange download button which will

download the apk to your device let's do that now I wake see that begins the

download okay let's now click on the downloaded apk and click on install okay

let's open that up and as you can just see here guys we have access to

thousands of thousands of applications all from a trusted source that we can

install on our device with one click with no limitations and that's all for

this video guys many thanks for watching so many fewer asking for tips on how to

improve your Android box performance so I do hope you like this one let me know

and I'll hopefully catch up with you guys real soon

thanks thanks again for watching guys oh and if you're interested in a VPN if you

click on that link on the bottom left you'll get a great 46 percent discount

if you are worried about your privacy and you want to say safe online I do

recommend you check our VPN thanks again guys see you on the next one

The ULTIMATE GUIDE TO BUYING JERSEYS FOR YOUR HOCKEY TEAM: Adding personality to your hockey jerseys - Duration: 6:44.

So, the first aspect of decoration that we want to talk about is the crest it's

a major part major part of the Jersey there are three or four different types

of crusts that you're gonna want to consider for your team and they range in

price so what I'm gonna do is I'm just gonna just jump over here and grab the

first one this is ... What is I can that's embroidered that's an embroidered

crest really soft you can see this is a for the Nashville Fire Department and

you can see all of this I don't know if you can see but we can even get close up

here and it's got a thread through here it's very vibrant this will last a very

long time it's a really nice crest that's that's option one okay there's

more I'm gonna go here nope no I'm good here this option here

is what Keener vinyl vinyl lettering yeah yeah so this is a style known as

front lettering like putting letters on the front of your jersey and what this

team opted to do was do this in vinyl yeah yeah so if I bring this close up

again the vinyl here is really like like silk-screening a lot of people know what

that is or this is heat pressed on to the front of this Jersey so there's a

couple of different options but they're very similar effects and it's generally

a lower-priced option the embroidered crest is generally the most expensive

option isn't it yeah that's the most expensive that is the least expensive

but you can it gets more expensive as you add colors yeah so this is a one

colour one layer one colour and yeah as Keenan was saying you can add colours

colors there are layers gets more expensive and then the third kind is

something that is quite popular at Keener jerseys. This is what Keener? That's sublimated onto pro twill.

will now this is this is not a real wolf right? But it looks real.

Yeah, and that's logo you want. You want to be intimidating when you're on the

ice as much as possible to scare the other team mm-hmm but I'm gonna come in close

here because you know you you can see here this is there's no

thread here the great thing about sublimation onto twill is that there are

no colour limitations the price doesn't change as you add more and more colours

so when you have a crest a logo that has lots and lots of colours sublimation -

pro twill is a really great option yeah I know even with embroidery the more

stitch counts raises the price later. Yeah so the more complicated the logo is

you're getting to embroider than or costly it is yeah and but with this you

could have the most complex coloured logo imaginable and it's the same price as if

you just had like a two color logo yeah it's the same price yeah and so yeah

it's a strange thing so we really as you can tell I would say 95% of the team

that we actually work on yeah go with this kind of a logo and you can see it

even does like pictures like you know Team-o-Selannes so yeah right there you

shootin' the puck down iconic Winnipeg photograph yeah yeah it's great that

team's called the Team-O-Selannes. So you get it?

team tee te am yeah Oh apostrophe Selannes. Uh-huh

very clever that is our cresting options when you begin to look at the other

decoration requirements you're gonna have for your team you need to think

about are you gonna do numbers on the back of your jerseys or names or in the

sleeves yeah so those are the main ones also sponsor crest sponsor or

commemorative patches we have a lot of people who represent buddy's number on

their jersey yeah that's common yeah yeah so they're

generally speaking you just need to consider two things with decoration

you're either gonna go with Pro twill sewn on numbers or letters or vinyl yeah

I'm gonna show in that example of this is up this is a vinyl this is a pro

twill right so so on what tough font is that by the way that's the Minnesota

Wild's first 11 years font okay well that's that's that okay so you can see

here that's all sewn on it's nice eleven and a half inches looks pretty pro yeah

super Pro that's a good example yeah it's a beautiful Jersey and it's gonna

give the opponents nightmares yeah so speaking with scaring the heck out of

your opponent I remember one time you were telling me

a story about when you used to play hockey and like how when you'd skate out

there right you you're a pretty scared kid don't

maybe you know I was scared of everything but this is specifically in

terms of hockey yeah no I was fearless on the ice just off the ice bees and

stuff scary but I remember like my team didn't have a great jerseys back then

we were skating around the other team comes on the I start skating around and

they're their jerseys looks so pro all their pants and helmets matched and I

was like we're gonna get killed by these guys did you get killed well I don't

remember probably I'm saying like there's a very

high possibility that they kicked her but yeah yeah but they were already in

my head there was your head that was they've already won the second they

walked on the ice yeah yeah yeah so I think the important lesson to remember

there is it the moral is if you you know if you get your jerseys and you do it

upright with like the right type of decoration and you look great out there

it really is true and I think anybody who's played hockey probably has a

similar experience where or any sport really where you look across the other

team and they are looking sharp well you have that quote on something back there

it says wars are won before they even begin fighting yeah I think that's from

the Art of War. Yeah yeah the doors are learned yeah the battle is won

before it's begun but before the first spear is thrown right I think that's the

general gist so part of that is the intimidation factor brought about by

great jerseys yeah so you've already won like those guys won before they even

stepped on the ice I was like oh yeah so scary it does have an impact so that is

the decoration part of buying jerseys keep those things in mind and you'll be

a lot better off before you even get started so those are just some tips

there ok good tips good job good job

DIETITIAN'S GUIDE FOR CALCULATING PARENTERAL NUTRITION - Duration: 2:44.

A few months ago on my youtube channel I created one video discussing how to

calculate a continuous tube feed and ever since then my inbox has been flooded

with messages and requests to do parenteral nutrition as well as bolus

tube feeds.

do you remember this from a few months ago? My channel is your

one-stop shop where you'll find videos about life as a registered dietitian

solutions to your common dietitian intern and student problems such as

slain the RD exam finding a job TPN's, tube feedings... that point right there do

you have a hard time calculating tube feedings? Do you find the components of a

parenteral nutrition to be difficult? Well if you answered yes to any of these

questions you're not alone a few months ago I took a survey on one of my social

media platforms and a few new dietitians as well as future dietitians we're in

the same boat as you. Dietetics and my opinion is a very

fulfilling career it gives you the flexibility that you want when you're

actually in the field but before you become a dietitian you have to pass

through the clinical aspect of Dietetics which you may encounter during your

classes, your internship, the RD exam and even in the work field. A few months ago

on my YouTube channel I created one video discussing how to calculate a

continuous tube feed and ever since then my inbox has been flooded with messages

and requests to do parenteral nutrition as well as bolus tube feeds. For this

reason I've created my educational store on my website www.KimRoseDietitian. com

answering this very topic my philosophy let's make nutrition easy! Picture what

life will look like for you if you understood the basic components of a

tube feed as well as parental nutrition if you have a hard time with this

visualization let's look at some of these testimonials:

now can you fully imagine that grasping the components of a tube feed as well as

a parenteral nutrition well the videos and worksheets that I've created for you

help you do exactly that make sure you check out KimRoseDietitian.com for

Trader Legacy Guide - State of Decay 101 // MrStainless001 - Duration: 3:59.

Hey everyone, Sam here also known as MrStainless and we're back with another State of Decay

101, a series dedicated to helping you learn everything there is to know about State of

Decay 2 and today we're looking at the legacy missions for the Trader leader type in game

and what you get for completing them but before we do if you want to join the community of

survivors here on the channel hit the subscribe button down below.

Now if you didn't know, when you choose a leader in State of Decay 2 they have one

of four legacy personality types; Sheriff, Builder, Warlord and Trader. Each one will

require you to complete different missions and objectives in order to complete the Legacy

Boon, and each equally provides a different bonus for doing so. Once you have completed

the final mission for your Legacy Leader, you will be rewarded with whats called a Legacy

Boon, basically this is an incredibly valuable reward that you can take into a new game with

you, equally it should be noted that you can take two of these Legacy Boons with you at

a time. Now in our last video we looked at the Warlord Legacy boon, if you want to check

that out I'll leave an annotation up in the top right of your screen.

So today we're looking at the Trader Legacy so lets take a look at what the reward is

for completing this legacy and then we'll go through the missions you'll have to complete

in order to unlock it. Finally for the Trader legacy boon, it's Favours and you'll have

a visit from a friendly trader as well as a gift of 4000 influence when you settle your

first home which is pretty substantial.

Now in order to unlock these legacy boons you'll need to complete about 4 to 5 missions

with your leader each one ranging in difficulty. The Trader legacy missions are actually the

shortest, there's only about three missions to complete but in order to start the legacy

you've got to destroy all of the Plague hearts in your community. Once you do you'll

start 'The Broker,' so in this mission an enclave will ask you for some materials,

once you travel over to their location they'll ask you for some personal hygiene luxury items

and in return they have a ton of tobacco they can trade.

You let them know that you can find someone who wants their tobacco so they give you a

pack of menthols and you'll travel to another enclave who have a similar story only they

have a lot of games and want tobacco, this enclave will give you a horseshoe game set

and then you'll be off to talk to the final enclave who want some games and have a lot

of personal hygiene products. All you've got to do is talk to them, they'll give

you a pack of razors and the mission is complete.

Once that mission is over you'll start 'The Broker,' an enclave will contact you saying

they have some concerns about another enclave trying to ambush a trade summit, so you'll

need to go talk to them to see whats up. After you talk to the suspected enclave, you can

either make them hostile or ask them what they were trying to take from the summit.

Usually it's just a rucksack of a specific resource so it's nothing too complicated,

just bring the rucksack of resources back to them and they'll be happy with it and you'll

be on to the last mission.

Now just to give you all a heads up, The Summit is the final mission for the Trader questline

and the moment you finish it, the game will be over and you'll begin a new community

with 3 of the current members, essentially starting a new game. So just be sure you're

ready to finish the game before you start this mission.

So in this mission, which is pretty cool, you and the other enclaves will be going to

the trade summit that was mentioned in the previous mission. Head to the location on

the map and just talk to the other enclave leaders there. After you do that, there will

be a few hostile survivors who attack and ambush the summit. After you kill them, go

talk to one of the enclave leaders that the game wants you to, and you'll have to defend

the summit from zombies for 3 minutes which isn't too difficult. Once they've all

been cleared you've just got to go back and talk to one of the enclave leaders and

the mission is complete.

And folks that is it, that is the Trader Legacy in State of Decay 2 and the missions you'll

need to finish in order to complete it, if you've found this video helpful why not

leave a like and comment down below what leader type you have in your community. In the meantime

though if you want to be kept up to date with when my new State of Decay 101 videos go live

hit that subscribe button down below but until next time have a great week and I'll speak

to you all soon.

The Complete Guide to PlayStation Emulation on Ubuntu - Duration: 4:59.

Hi this is Phil from Make Tech Easier and welcome to the complete guide to

Playstation emulation on Ubuntu. The original playstation was undoubtedly a

great game console. It was the first console to bring disk based games to the

mainstream and it was home to a whole host of now classic games spawning more

than a few legendary franchises. The day of the PS1 is long past but the games

are still great and the options to play them now are unfortunately limited.

However there is hope with emulators. For Linux systems like Ubuntu one of the

best emulators is PCSXR and it's available right from the default

Ubuntu repositories. PCSXR is a reboot of a classic PS1 emulator, PCSX, which was

abandoned. PCSXR is very easy to use and it has a lot of great controls to make

playing your games an enjoyable experience. Install PCSXR. Since PCSXR

is in the default repositories just install it with apt. Type "sudo apt

install pcsxr". Yes, it's really that simple. PCSXR options. Open PCSXR,

depending on your desktop environment it'll be listed under the games section

of your launcher or you can just search for it in GNOME. There's not a whole

lot going on when you first open the emulator, there really doesn't have to be

though. Click on the memory card icon first and a new window will open up with

two columns. Those columns list potential save blocks on to virtual memory cards.

Below each row there's a button to change the location of your virtual

memory card. You can keep making them so you're probably never going to run out

of space to save your games. Head back to the main window click on the monitor

icon this time, that'll open your graphical options. There's not a lot that

you need to do here but you can change the emulator screen size, which is really

nice because the default screen is really small.

There are also sound and control options here you can have a look around there

too. The controller is just a simple table so it's not hard to set up the

controller of your choosing to work with PCSXR. Getting games. You have a

couple of options when it comes to getting games. Ideally you have your own

games and you can actually just insert them into your computer's disk drive and

run them from PCSXR. The first icon in the menu is just for that. It's a kind of

pain to use physical CDs all the time though and not every computer today has

a disk drive. You can however make copies of your games for continued use. If you

have an available disk drive (USB or internal) and the physical games, you can

load the CD images onto your computer and use them whenever you choose. It's

very easy on Ubuntu. Insert a disc into the drive then copy the image to a

designated location with just enough space. Be very careful doing this and be

sure to specify an output file name. The DD utility can easily wipe a hard drive

clean if you're not paying attention. Type "sudo dd if=/dev/sr0 of=/path/to/game.iso

PCSXR can use the resulting iso file. When all else fails you can find and download roms

online. Downloading roms is a nasty legal gray area though so be sure you know the

laws in your particular area. In a lot of cases downloading a digital copy of a

game you already own is considered ok but check to be sure. Also be cautious of

your download sources - there's a lot of malware out there tied to shady download

sites that provide ROMs. Playing a game. Playing games with PCSXR

is very easy assuming you have a game image, either one you rip yourself or

from a download. You can click the second icon from the left of the top menu of

PCSXR. It looks like a little PlayStation. That'll open a window that

lets you browse your game image, when you select it the game will open and begin

playing through PCSXR. Control your game with whichever controls you set up.

Of course with PCSXR being a PC-based emulator the keyboard will always

work as a default. Okay you're all set up and ready to enjoy the glory days of the

original PlayStation on your Ubuntu desktop. It's a good idea to organize

your game images and memory card saves someplace where you can easily find them.

No one likes digging around for misplaced CDs even if it is in digital

form. Okay as always thanks for watching and please if you could take a moment to

like subscribe and add your comments below. That's all for now see you next time!

Dark Willow (90 second hero guide) - Duration: 2:03.

Greetings and welcome to 90 second hero guide featuring Mireska Sunbreeze, the Dark Willow.

Dark Willow is a ranged intelligence hero with powerful disables and nukes.

Her Q: Bramble Maze, creates a maze of brambles in the target area after 0.5 second delay.

Enemies that walk into a bramble are rooted and take damage over time.

Her W: Shadow Realm, allows her to become untargetable for up to 3 seconds.

Her next attack has increased range, deals bonus magic damage

and ends Shadow Realm.

Damage scales with how much times she spends in Shadow Realm before attacking (capped at

3 seconds).

Her E: Cursed Crown, casts an ancient curse on the target.

After delay it stuns the target and nearby enemies.

Her Ultimate consists of two abilities that are upgraded at the same time.

Bedlam allows a wisp to roam around Dark Willow attacking

nearby enemies.

Terrorize releases the wisp to terrorize enemies.

After a short delay all enemies in the target area become fearful and run towards their

fountain.

Abilities can't be used at the same time.

Dark Willow is usually played as a support, however she has carrying potential because

of her talents.

Arcane Boots, Eul's Scepter of Divinity, Veil of Discord, Blink Dagger and Kaya are among

most popular items on her.

Other items are Guardian Greaves, Glimmer Cape and Scythe of Vyse or Phase Boots and

Mjollnir for more physical damage.

Bramble Maze and Cursed Crown are very powerful disables that punish enemies standing close

together.

Shadow Realm provides a nuke and ability to escape from dangerous situations

so be careful when you use it.

Terrorize can be a very strong follow-up to area of effect

disables like Sven's Storm Hammer and Underlord's Pit of Malice.

This is the talent tree I use, however feel free to modify it, if it would suit your playstyle

better.

And that's all for this guide.

visiting the areas surrounding the station.

Once you exit Santa Maria Novella station,

you can start your tour of Florence visiting the Fortezza da Basso (Da Basso Fortress) and its gardens.

Fortezza da Basso was built in 1500 by Francesco de Medici.

"No it was Alessandro but regardless, the two were related."

This fortress was built to protect the family and the city from external attacks.

We recommend you to start your tour at the fortress

because it is slightly outside the historical centre

and once you've visited the fortress, you can then visit the heart of city.

There are many ways to tour the city.

Let's discover them together.

Rental bike: The most trendy rental bike company is Mobike.

Registration is very simple and you can easily rent a bike via its app.

Ataf is the Florence public transportation company.

A one-way trip costs 1.20€ and is good for 90 minutes.

If your stay longer than just one day,

it would be better to buy the AGILE card in order to save a few euros.

Tranvia (aka the tram)

Currently the red line is the only one open.

The other two lines are still being constructed

but if you watch this video in 2021, maybe the other lines will be open.

That said, guys,

the best way to visit Florence is on foot

By foot, you can fully enjoy the city,

visiting all its tourist sites and losing yourself in its corners and narrow streets.

Arriving at Florence Central Station

the first square you see is Santa Maria Novella square

with the homonym church that you see behind my shoulders.

This church is very important because it is a symbol of the Florence renaissance.

After a short walk from Santa Maria Novella

one arrives at San Lorenzo market

In this market, apart from typical souvenirs

…"Do you us to make a picture of you?

"No, we are just making a video."

In this market, apart from typical souvenirs

you can purchase many leather goods

One hundred percent real leather.

As you know Florence is famous for its food and its culinary traditions

In the area of San Lorenzo there is the Central Market

This old building has been renovated in the last few years

and on the second floor you'll find many small restaurants

where you can try typical Tuscan cuisine.

Therefore if you're hungry, you can eat here.

Friends, our mini-guide to Florence ends here

in front of the Mediceo Laurenziano complex

in front of the church of San Lorenzo and the Medicee Chapels.

We suggest you go inside this church

both from the inside because it's very very beautiful

and from outside due to its unfinished entrance.

So guys, this video ends here but don't miss our second episode

where we will discover the life and times of the Medici family.

Expert Roundup Post: The What, Why, And How-To Guide - Duration: 15:59.

Hi, I'm Rachel and you're watching geek unicorn TV today

I'm gonna talk about how to create an expert roundup post and

What that is really? What is an expert roundup post?

An expert roundup post is a

blog that you create

And instead of having to create all the content yourself

You actually going to source the content

From experts and so I'm going to talk a little bit about how to find experts

how to

Solicit them for their posts and some best practices of do's and don'ts so let's jump into it

so what is an expert roundup post an expert roundup post is a post that you create that

Actually features other people

so the best way to do one of these posts if you have

over 20 people

The more the merrier, it's usually great if you have a lot of people

And the reason why you might want to create an expert roundup post is because it helps you to not only create

content for

Yourself without really would like really minimal effort. You're not having to come up and create

all these ideas and concepts

it also helps you cast a wider net in your audience because if you were to

source, you know if you were to have

20 30 40 60 people on a blog post

Chances are that those people a good handful. Those people will also share that that post with

Their audience as well. So you're capitalizing on casting that wider net

for viewership for your own blog

so let's say I'm a doula and

Maybe I want to get an expert roundup post from a bunch of lactation consultants about breastfeeding

That's usually a good example

When I share my blog post all those lactation consultants who I've sourced for

for their opinion on the topic that I have they are then going to share with their

Moms and dads and parents and parents to be or want to be parents who are in their networks

And then I get exposure as a doula

for

In those in those spaces as well. So it's it's getting visibility and in a new

network that maybe you didn't have prior visibility in

So I'm not a doula

obviously

But that's just one example of how to do it

so if you are a business owner, you have a business the idea is to gather experts who have

Complementary services, so you don't necessarily if you are

You know if you're a graphic designer, let's say you don't necessarily want to source other graphic designers

You may want to instead

source

creative directors or something where

you know a creative director isn't necessarily competing directly with you in a lot of ways because

you're the actual hands to keyboard person and the creative director is not usually hands to keyboard or

Maybe you maybe you don't do illustration and you can source a bunch of illustrators

That might be a good example

So I'm gonna show you what an expert round up post looks like. Okay, so

This website here is not my website. This was one

expert roundup post that I was actually a part of and you can see it's a compilation of the best content creation strategies from

43 experts so they included how many people are in it, which I think is also really great

because then users go and and when they come to look at your blog they think oh

Yeah, I want to see

Like what 43 experts have to say or 60 experts or 25 experts? Yeah

I want to see get the best tips from these people

So you can see this person includes the person's name or business name

And in this case they did their title as well and then there

What they had to say of as an expert, they included their picture

Their website and social media channels, so I'm just gonna go find mine

Okay, so here's mine here. Um, I'm number 20

um, and so

It's got my again my name what I do the business that I own and then website Facebook Twitter

Google+ YouTube all all those fun things and my profile picture at the time when I had long hair look at me

And then my response so

I'm gonna show you

how to

Approach experts. First of all, actually, I'm going to show you how to find experts so finding an expert is

Actually, it can be pretty easy. It's just a little laborious

So if you have a VA or you have somebody who can maybe help you with this

it might be a good use of your time to

to have somebody else to do it to delegate this task or you can also

Yeah, like have your VA do it you could do also do yourself

But what you want to do is you can search online

So use search engines to look up those individuals in that in that profession. You can also look for other

Expert round up posts of a similar nature and you can solicit those people from

That list as well that's happened to me actually with the blog post that I just showed you

I was then solicited because they saw me in that post. So I was asked to do another one

Your current network. So people that you actually know

Social media, there's all kinds of places where you can search you want to definitely ask as many people as possible

Knowing that a lot of them will say no or just not reply or might not get your email

so if you're aiming for

You know like forty experts you probably want to ask almost 100 people to get those and again, it's like the more the merrier

Right. So if all hundred people reply back great, that's awesome

but you know, even if only ten replied back that's great to use it go for it expert roundup posts are really great because

your audience

Gets that professional opinion from lots and lots of different people. So your audience can kind of pick and choose what resonates with them

What maybe one person said is gonna work for them

so it's a it's a really great way of creating content for your audience because it's just such a

It's just such a wealth of information for them

So I'm going to show you the template that

You can use to email

to email prospects

to be on your expert roundup post and

I have a link in the comments for this template so you can have it

So as you can see here, we start with an introduction. Hi, my name is

Whatever, and I manage the blog at whatever or you can say, I am the owner of

Blank business and I manage my blog here

You want to say where you saw the person

So I saw you on

Either a website or a blog post or maybe an event like maybe you saw them as a speaker and an event

And then I really liked and then give them something that you appreciate about their content. Maybe it's like your content or your

explanations are so clear and concise or

Your thoughts were really innovative or

Whatever it is. Something genuine that you genuinely appreciated about their contents and

Or their like delivery of it

So next you want to say what you're doing. I'm collecting expert opinion on and then you can insert your topic

For a blog post on and then include the date to be posted

This is really important because then it gives people a general idea of maybe like when that they can expect this post to be launched

So a lot of people have content a Content calendar as well

So when you're approaching

experts they can look at this and see how that maybe fits in with their content calendar too and see if it's something that they

want to participate in

It will feature professionals from all the world and I'd love for you to be one of them

Then you want to ask them to take a few minutes of their time to reply to this email with

One or two sentences on, and then you're going to insert a specific question. So it's

one that I have recently was like how

How do you create content when the website is saturated with content or how or how do you how do you get content?

How do you get your content visible when the website is saturated with content?

That was one of the questions so you want to get very specific about that question

encourage them to write one or two sentences

You'll notice that some people will write more than that. And that's totally fine. You want to get whatever people people give

But you want to keep it easy for people which is why you just say, you know one or two sentences

is fine

Then you want to include ask them to include their website and social media

Channels, so readers can connect with them after the post is live

So ask them to copy and paste the URL for their website Facebook page Twitter YouTube channel Instagram

Whatever the other ones are that maybe are relevant to your to your experts depending on who your experts are you may need

may need Pinterest in there or you may need LinkedIn in there

This one is more relevant to to me in my field

So those are the ones I included you can include a disclaimer that says if you don't have one a tip of you can leave

It blank

a

photo of or of your headshot

and then

you can note that if they don't have that you can go grab it from their social media page because sometimes people maybe don't have

That on hand

Typically more than likely if they are an expert and they are a speaker in their field. They probably have a headshot on hand

I know I have one on my desktop

Just to very quickly attach it to you anything

but if they don't you can offer to

Get it from their social media profiles. The idea is to make it really super super simple for them

So if it's like if they don't have a headshot you don't want to feel

They can't participate you can always grab one online from them

Then this is really key. You want to say I will need to reply by insert date to make the blog post date by date

Date to be posted this is so key because

I've received these

Expert roundup posts in my email inbox before and I once received it while I was on vacation

And the person replied, like resent it to me while I was still on vacation was like hey

Do you still want to do this? But at no point that they say did they give me a deadline

So me on vacation is thinking do I have to like stop my vacation and reply to this email?

Or can I reply to it when I get back from vacation and still be totally within the deadline?

So I think it's really key to ask them to reply by a certain date because people are busy

They need to know what's a priority for me in my inbox right now. What's not a priority in my inbox?

Don't expect for people to email you back right away because this is a low priority item for a lot of people

So just keep that in mind

Let them know that you'll follow up via email with a link to the post once it's live and then

Let let me know if you have any questions if you want to include that

Thank you so much for your time sincerely your name so that template you can download

there's a link in below in the description or you can visit my web site at geekunicorn.com and

That will be available to you

You can just copy and paste that of course, you can use your own language

But the important part or the key idea of this is you want to introduce yourself you want to say where you saw

them you want to

Be clear about what your ask is and be clear about when you need it by and what the date will be posted

And that you'll follow up with a link

You want to keep your email super super short people are busy. They need you to get right to the point and be really

succinct and clear with your message. So once you have your expert roundup post you're going to then

Sort them any which way you like. It doesn't really matter if you want to alphabetical, whatever

Um, and you want to make sure that you include a link back to their website at all times

Because that's really what makes it valuable to that expert is they're getting a referral link for their website

So that's what's in it for them

They're getting exposure to a new network. That's what's in it for them. So there's lots of benefits to the expert that you're featuring

featuring so long as you include

their website

In their in their post and you make sure you content market that blog as well for them so that you're giving them exposure

And in turn they're giving they're creating content for you, and they're giving you exposure as well in their networks

Hopefully fingers crossed if they share so some follow-up emails that you want to include if you haven't heard back from them in a week

them in a week, Yyou want to email them again and just say

Hey, just a reminder if you want to participate in this I'll need your response by X Y Z

Um, you want to give yourself

Three to four weeks to collect all this information and to create the blog post

So I would suggest that at minimum two weeks to give people time to respond

Where you're sending the first email on week one you're sending a reminder email on week two

And if you really wanted to be if you want to get as many people as possible

I would say send another email two days before the deadline just

to say hey

the deadlines in two days or in 48 hours or whatever and I'd really

like to get your opinion on this because people forget right like they put it in their inbox and it just

gets lost so

If you can give them lots of time and then at the end give them some urgency

Then you get you'll get more responses for that and then you want to give yourself at least a week to put the blog together

Because you're gonna have you're creating links for everybody. You may be having to source some photos. You may be having to resize some photos

Laying it all out and all those things like that. Like don't, you know, don't rush yourself

Make sure you give yourself enough time to do all that as well

So that's it. That's how you create an expert roundup post

That's why it's important. It helps you with your SEO

It helps you with your traffic it helps you with your reach it helps you create

content and

I hope you enjoy this. I hope you got something from it. Don't forget in the description

There is a link to that template that you can use that we've walked through together

And I hope you enjoy I will see you next time. Bye

back in the day and it talked about is how important the jerseys are for your

team. Jerseys really do represent something for your team.

yeah it unites jerseys unites so we always say around here jerseys unites

teams together unite they intimidate other teams yeah like the story you

heard earlier I'm still having nightmares of that too yeah I'm sure you

do they inspire players on the team to play better like you feel good when you

got you're playing for the crest. Not your name on the back that's right and

also when you put on a nice Jersey doesn't it feel better? You feel like a
