Texas law enforcement officers have been participating in an unofficial "lip sync battle" over the past couple of weeks

A new law enforcement officer from Houston has joined in on the fun -- but she's not your average singer

Harris County Constable Deputy Madison Sperry joined the challenge and took a video of herself lip-syncing to the Baha Men song "Who Let The Dogs Out?" With a song choice like that, of course she needed her K9 partner to help her sing along

As Sperry lip-synced the classic 2000 song, her K9 unit, Quelle, added her own touch

Quelle barked along every time the Baha Men sang the iconic line "who, who, who?" It made for a standout lip sync performance

The group K9s4Cops shared Sperry's video on Facebook. "It's a nonprofit that purchases police dogs for agencies across the country

They have placed over 150 dogs around the nation," Sperry told CBS News

Quelle is an ambassador for K9s4COPS, Sperry said. Quelle is somewhat of a spokesdog for K9s4Cops -- she appears in many of the organization's social media posts

Sperry filmed the video for the organization so they could share it and hopefully spread awareness for their work

Quelle and Sperry's video has been viewed more than 2.2 million times

"The whole thing started as a lip sync battle across the state of Texas, and all the ones done with K9s in it, the dog just sat there doing nothing," Sperry said

"So I knew Quelle could have a significant role in the video because she does a lot of tricks on command," Sperry said of the 6-year-old Belgian Malinois

The lip-syncing trend started in June, when a Bexar County sheriff's deputy posted a video of himself lip syncing in his cruiser

The battle among officers spread like wildfire. Law enforcement from San Antonio, Robstown, Austin and now Houston joined in and posted their own lip syncs

From *NSYNC to Selena, to Baha Men, the officers have entertained millions of people with a wide variety of song styles

Quelle's, however, is one of the most memorable. She "sang" along perfectly, and raised awareness for a cause that is close to her heart

Stormchasing in den USA Vlog | Chasing the Storm 4K - Episode 2: Texas & Oklahoma - Duration: 6:28.

Just right now the power went off...

3400 miles in 6 days

Chasing the perfect storm

Good morning from Santa Rosa in New Mexico

Chasing was difficult last night

because the road network isn't optimal

So we will move to Kansas today

We will drive through Oklahoma and the panhandle

We will go to Dodge City / Garden City

We hope for better conditions over there

We will head to this storm

We are here at Liberal right now

This looks promising

We will drive into the panhandle in front of it

Stormchasers in action!

Roge One heading into the panhandle

Are you nervous? - Yes.

What is going to happen?

Bad things, at least 3 or 4 very large cells.

We need to be careful not to get into a storm now.

The further we drove south, the stronger the cells became.

According to the radar the cells contained baseball size hail.

We needed to be highly concentrated

One wrong turn and we would drive right into the storm.

This is us... and that's the cell.

Stormchaser behind us.

Just right now the power went off...

The storm is above us, we're between two cells.

It's dark inside.

Don't know if you can get gas there.

That's us.

There's the cell...

It remains exciting.

Living on the edge.

We wrap up the chase day

and head back to Liberal in Kansas.

We were driving between 2-3 cells.

Lots of rain, lots of lightning. We stayed quite dry.

Christian did a very good job driving.

We're happy with the chase and are heading to our motel.

It was a beautiful sunset over Liberal in Kansas.

On this calm evening we had no idea what would happen to us on the following day.

Smiling, Rain or Shine | FUN wedding in the Texas Hill Country - Duration: 7:29.

- Everyone is already looking at me,

expecting me to cry.

- Cause we all have bets. We all took numbers.

- Oh crap.

(gentle orchestral music)

Keep it together.

Here it comes.

(glass falling)

(Emily giggles)

- [Emily] Wooo!

(guests laughing)

- Whoa, that made this way easier!

- [Emily's sister] My freshman year, Emily came to visit me,

and well the whole weekend, I kept hearing these stories of,

"Well, my new friend Mike, we would go

"hang out and I've been hanging out with him

"and he brings me pizza and we drive around in this truck."

All weekend, all I heard were these stories of Mike,

and I was like "Who is this Mike?"

And obviously, being a very perceptive sister,

something was going on, so I by the end of the weekend

got Emily to spill a little secret

that the night before she came to visit me,

her and this Mike guy held hands.

(audience wooing)

I know!

Very, very fishy.

The next month, I went to college station,

I realized very quickly that it was more

than a one-time hand holding occurrence,

and that this Mike was probably here to stick around.

Fast forward three and a half years,

I am not surprised in the slightest that we are here.

That first weekend I met Mike,

I knew that he was the one for Emily.

- [Emily] Miller Mike, Mikey-Mike, my fiancé,

and now my husband.

What are you doing later today, wanna hang out?

I can't believe that today is finally here.

It feels like just yesterday that we were

two kids in college station,

just learning to fall in love.

Well, here we are, and we're getting married.

Can you believe that?

- [Mike] Emily, I've tried writing this

first sentence about five times now,

because I know the words won't even come close

to the meaning behind what I'm try to say.

That and I couldn't figure out

where the comma was supposed to go in my first sentence.

I thank our gracious Father daily for providing me

such a beautiful, loving, funny,

forgiving, and thoughtful best friend like you.

I cannot wait to begin this next chapter

of our lives together, knowing every single day,

good or bad, I get to come home to

the most beautiful, smiling and loving woman I know.

A smile that can light up a room,

and a love that can make anyone's day instantly better.

("Long Nights" by Percy Falls)

Emily, I love you, and I know this love

is from Our Heavenly Father, because of this,

I want to be your husband.

- [Emily] Mike, I love you.

I prayed for a Godly man, and today I praise Our Father

that my prayer is being fulfilled.

- [Mike] I promise to be faithful to you, and love you.

I promise to guide and protect you.

- The bible gives us a perfect example of this love.

- The bible (Mike and audience laughing) repeat that?

I thought we were done here.

- [Officiant] The bible gives us

a perfect example of His love.

- [Mike] The bible gives us a perfect example of His love,

in Christ that's for the church,

I shall try always, with God's help,

to show you this same kind of love.

- [Emily] I promise my faithfulness,

to follow through all of life's experience,

as you follow God, but together we may grow

in the likeness of Christ, and our home be a praise to Him.

- [Mike] I'm gonna be honest, I'm not too excited

knowing my eating habits are about to change drastically.

But I am excited to have my partner in crime

by my side every day, jammning out whenever

and wherever we go.

- [Emily] I am truly amazed by the man

God has designed you to be.

You impress me, love me, and lead me

and I can't believe I get to be your bride.

- Mike, you may kiss your bride.

(guests cheering)

Ladies and gentlemen, I now present to you

Mr. and Mrs. Mike Finam.

(guests cheering and applauding)

- Mike!

- [DJ] Mr. and Mrs. Mike Finam!

(guests cheering and applauding)

BILL DE BLASIO HEADS TO TEXAS FOR - Duration: 11:13.

BILL DE BLASIO HEADS TO TEXAS FOR

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio just left the liberal city that he rules over to head

down to the U.S. border with Mexico in the hopes of getting a photo opportunity with

some migrant children.

Unfortunately for de Blasio, however, it didn't end well for him.

Mad World News reported that de Blasio ended up in El Paso, Texas, in front of a detention

center, where a guard refused to let him in.

When he heard this, de Blasio came totally unhinged and started screaming at the guard

to, "let me in, I'm the mayor of New York."

It didn't take long for this move to backfire on de Blasio…

On Thursday morning, de Blasio joined a dozen other mayors from across the country to demand

entry to an immigration facility near El Paso, Texas.

"We fully expect to not be told the truth, we fully expect to be turned away the way

senators and congressmen have been turned away just trying to get the honest truth about

what's happening to these children just as all of you have been doing," de Blasio

said at a press conference.

When de Blasio got to the entrance, he told the guard, "Yeah, Bill de Blasio, mayor

of New York, here."

"Technically you're on federal property.

But, we'll let you stand right there," the officer told him.

For a smug self-centered liberal like de Blasio, this could not have been more humiliating!

Despite the fact that this was clearly a publicity stunt, de Blasio insisted that it was not

that at all.

"The fact is this is something the American people care about … How was our money being

spent?

Is it being spent in a way that we would feel comfortable with?" he said.

"That is what public officials are supposed to ascertain.

There is something eerie about a government agency saying we're not gonna let the media

in, we are not going to let public officials in.

That would never fly in my city.

I'll tell you that much.

New Yorkers would never stand for that.

I don't think Americans anywhere would stand for that."

In Texas, A Summer Job That Helps Provide Temporary Refuge For Migrants - Duration: 6:28.

In Texas, A Summer Job That Helps Provide Temporary Refuge For Migrants

When I arrived at Casa Vides, I found a nondescript two-story brick building close enough to the border that you could walk to it.

This is a place that provides refuge for two types of people: those who evaded border patrol and those who were caught, handed over to Immigration and Customs Enforcement, and then released while their cases are still pending.

Casa Vides provides food, shelter and legal support to up to 40 people at a time.

It's run by the faith-based nonprofit, Annunciation House.

"My mom is an immigrant from South America so this issue has always been close to my heart," says Daniel Rottenborn, a 19-year-old volunteering for the summer.

He and 20-year-old volunteer Francis Brockman are both students at University of Notre Dame.

"For me," Brockman says, "I've taken a lot of Spanish classes and so I wanted to put that to use and just the situation with immigration today, like, the political climate.

It was something that I wanted to explore and learn more about.

So I feel like coming to the border was a pretty obvious choice.".

At this shelter, there are families and a number of teens — and that's an interesting experience for a young volunteer like Brockman.

"Sometimes there will be people that come into the house that are 19 or 20, like around our age, and they'll already have kids with them," Brockman says.

"So that's just an entirely different situation that I cannot even imagine at this point my life.".

Casa Vides said we couldn't talk to any of the residents.

But Brockman and Rottenborn have heard from teens here — some of whom crossed illegally instead of through a port of entry – about fleeing all kinds of violence on their journeys.

What little they say, says a lot.

"You see this 16-year-old kid," Rottenborn says.

"He's with his family.

You know, he has a bed, he has food for the first time in a while.

And he's just sitting there quiet.

It strikes me is vastly different than the experience of a normal American teenager.".

Brockman and Rottenborn could have gotten more typical summer jobs.

Brockman says his other option was working at a bagel shop back home in Ohio.

The two are living at Casa Vides sharing a room adjacent to the migrants' rooms.

They spend their time doing chores from cooking to cleaning to organizing games.

"Along this wall here, we have more stuff for babies," Brockman says.

"We have a room full of sheets, dry goods, medicine.".

"Yeah, we have a closet full of cleaning supplies, baby diapers, sanitary products, all of the hygiene and health-oriented stuff as well," Rotterborn adds.

Rotterborn says he and Brockman aren't trained on how to work with babies and children.

The shelter's goal is to promote independence and allow parents to do what they do best, parent.

"The resiliency that we see from these kids when they come into our house, and they start playing with the toys, and immediately, it's like that, you flip a switch, and they go from scared kids hiding behind their parents to just kids," Rotterborn says.

This past weekend, a bus pulled up and 32 undocumented parents got off.

With a few small belongings, including papers, they quietly walked into Casa Vides, greeted by staff with hugs.

The parents had been separated from their children at the border.

Their criminal cases were dropped after Trump reversed his policy on family separation.

Casa Vides tells migrants they can stay at the shelter as long as they want.

Many will connect with family members in the U.S.

and move out to live with them while they wait for their day in court.
