Auto news on Youtube Oct 3 2018

welcome back guys here's one video with our room "Pirate

Captivity", simplified version of it. But it's not more about the room, but showing

you our control board with the help of which, game masters controlling the flow of the

game. Owners of the games will receive their control board as a software

program, which is easily installed on their PCs. So the game master is

controlling the flow of the game. How it's working? It's happening in this way:

control is being done with the help of the Wi-Fi router, each prop has the

Wi-Fi models installed in it. And you can see here, on the example of our pirate

captivity room, list of the props. Choosing every prop, there are different

settings, so you can adjust them and there are different options, like

activate, solved, unsolved. Let's show it on the example of several props.

Here is the knife prop, selected right now.

You can see it's activated, but not solved.

We are going further to see all the information about them. You can see

nothing is inserted. Normally these three are the right positions, where

knives need to be located. I put all three knives in the wrong places - nothing

is happening

But as soon as one is being located in the right place,

you see - characteristics are changing. Let's locate one more. See, it's happening

again. But the prop is still not solved. Let's put the third one.

Here we go! The next prop is being activated. As you

can see here, the heart of captan prop is selected from the list. If you go

further, we see the status. It's not solved, not activated. This means that the

chest is closed. To open it, we need to push this button. The chest opens.

What's happening with this - you cannot see anything in the captain's eye.

As soon as you press the heart, there is a light appearing inside. And the clue can

be seen by the players. But as soon as you not pushing anymore - the light

disappears. What can be done is that the game master pushes "solve"

and the light is going to stay as long as the game master wants it to stay.

The next example is going to be Wind rose prop. See here, it's like from the list go a

bit further - it's activated, but not sold yet. Going a bit further again, here is

the right combination - 2, 5, 7, 4. I would like to make it - 1, 2.

This combination is not active, not correct. What we have

to do is to choose this one, going into this place, type the right combination.

And press "save new value". Now we have the combination changed to 1, 2. it's going

to be working

Prop "4 pictures" is activated (the sound is on)

So guys, this was a short video, demonstrating the possibilities of the

software. Basically every prop can be solved, can be deactivated or activated and

you can change the settings of each prop, and sensitivity, right combination.

And just as the last example - is Magic cube. True magic!

He opens a magic cube by pushing enter on the PC (using our Control Board program)

Ratings by MAQ Software - Power BI Visual Introduction - Duration: 3:02.

Today we are going to look at a new custom

visual: Ratings by MAQ Software.

You can use this visual to show ratings or scores in your reports.

Let's have a look at some of the features.

Ratings has three data fields.

First is the "Value" field.

This field is mandatory and represents the score that will be shown.

Second is the "Maximum Value" field.

This field represents the maximum total score.

If you enter a maximum value, ratings will be normalized.

Third is the "Tooltip" setting.

This is used to display additional information.

Now, let's look at an example of how to use this visual.

Here we have a dataset called "Employee Ratings."

The columns are "Department," "Employee ID," and "Ratings obtained."

The first example uses a triangle shape and shows the average ratings of all employees.

This example gives an average rating, out of 5, of all employees in a department.

The second example uses a star shape.

This example shows the average of employees in the "Development" department.

When a user hovers over the visual, a tooltip is displayed indicating the value.

Now, let's see an example with normalization.

In this example, you must enter data in both the "Value" and "Maximum Value" fields.

The normalization value is calculated by dividing the "Value" by the "Maximum Value,"

then multiplying by the number of indicators chosen.

For example, if the value is 10, the maximum value is 31, and the number of stars is 10,

the value divided by the maximum value times the number of stars is 3.2.

This signifies that 32 percent of the stars will be filled.

In this case, with 10 stars, 3.2 stars will be filled.

Now, let's look at the configuration features.

You can choose from four different shapes for indicators: stars, triangles, inverted

triangles, or circles.

You can choose to have between 3 and 10 indicators.

You can set the indicator color under the "Indicator Fill" tab.

You can also change the indicator background color and choose if you want to use a gradient

effect.

Next, you can choose to enable or disable the indicator border.

When enabled, you can configure the border color and width.

Finally, you can choose whether you'd like to animate the indicators.

Thank you for watching our video.

Calendar by MAQ Software - Power BI Visual Introduction - Duration: 5:00.

Calendar by MAQ Software is the most effective way to track your events in Power BI.

Calendar lets users: group events based on category,

color code events based on category, display events in month, week, day, and list

views, view event details with a single click,

set work days and hours, display an indicator for the current time,

and show additional information in tooltips.

To use this visual, you must provide data for the "Start date" and "Events"

fields.

The data in the "Start date" field indicates the date and time the event starts.

This field should be in "date-time" format.

The data in the "Events" field indicates the event's name.

This field should be in "text" format.

The "End date," "Event group," and "Tooltip" fields are optional.

The "End date" field indicates the date and time the event ends.

This field should be in "date-time" format.

The "Event group" field categorizes events into groups based on the values entered.

Events that are in the same group are given a common color.

To display additional data such as the organizer and organizer details, you can add items to

the "Tooltip" field.

Once the mandatory data fields are in place, the visual is rendered.

For demonstration purposes, we have added sample data to the visual.

Let's have a look at some of the features of the Calendar Visual:

You can easily switch between "Month," "Week," and "Day" views.

Clicking on the "Today" button returns you to the current date with your selected

view settings.

You can choose to enable or disable the legend display.

You can also set the position of the legends to the top or bottom of the visual.

You can change the label color of the legend items.

And finally, you can change the legend text size.

Next, let's look at the "Data Colors" pane. You can use the "Data Colors" options to change

the colors of events.

You can add further customization by categorizing events based on event groups:

Categories of events can be grouped together by selecting the same color for each event

in the category.

The groups are reflected in the events box.

In the events pane, you can also change the font colors and border colors of the event

cards.

As I mentioned earlier, you can view the calendar in "Month," "Week," "Day," or

"List" view.

You can disable any of the views by toggling "on" or "off" for a particular view

in the formatting pane.

Work hours are visible in the "Week" and the "Day" views.

You can set active work hours by entering the start and end time in the "Work

Hours" pane.

Active work hours are then highlighted in white, and the rest of the hours are greyed

out.

To set active work days, toggle each day "On" or "Off" in the "Work Week" preference pane.

Non-work days are then greyed out.

The default active work week is set from Monday to Friday.

You can also change general Calendar settings in the formatting pane.

For example, you can choose which day the work week starts on.

The default value is set to "Monday."

You can choose whether you'd like the calendar to indicate the current time using a red line

in the "Week" and "Day" views.

The "Enable Navigation" link option lets you navigate between different views by clicking

the date or week number.

The "Show Week Number" option lets you view the week number along the left side of the

visual in the "Month," "Week," "Day," and "List" view.

Finally, the "Enable right-to-left" layout option switches the calendar navigation arrows from

right to left.

Calendar by MAQ Software provides a streamlined solution to view all of your events in a single

visual with many customizable display options.
