I was born and raised in Hilliard whenever I graduated high school
when then the shoe and horses and with a farrier fur got around eight
years and decided I wanted to move back to here because this is where my
family's from moving back I knew that I had to have some kind of business and as
most people know in Hillard there's not a whole lot of businesses not a lot of
places to work yes dad had a tire auto parts business here where I'm at for in
this building right at 30 years and I always like dealing with equipment and
dealing with people and I always like cells say we was in the market to buy a
new zero turn mower and my dad was actually looking at the bad boy brand so
whenever he spoke to one of the sales reps over at the motor Ag Expo he was
telling that he lived in Hilliard and he said and we'd love to have a dealer in
that Northeast Florida area because yes a good market right he said well you
need to come talk to my son he's looking to putting the business in so the guy
actually come over here right at the beginning of 2015 we opened in 2015
and we put the bad-boy line in started selling them the first month we sold
like that February we sold 30 mowers and one month the first month he'll your
Florida help and so the second month in March we sold about 40 mowers I was like
well you know this could be a real business we're on to something
yeah so we took and I knew we needed to add a handheld line so we got with steel
and they came in here put steel products in and then we looked for another brand
of mowers to carry for we could have you know a little bit of a variety for
people to have and we went with the Toro line and both
of them this is done extremely well for us this year here we actually won the
Platinum Plus Diller award for the bad boy mowers sold over 175 but the bad
boys along we sold nearly 250 mowers total this
year in 2018 so we had a extremely good year this year yeah that's our best year
this our fifth year here okay so we're looking for 2019 to be really good to
excellent the now grab that blower there so this
is the the blower he's going to give away to someone who likes or shares this
post will be entered I'll pick a winner next Friday which would be what would
that be the fourth the fourth it would have Friday the first Friday of January
so this is a battery powered handheld blower that's perfect blowing out your
garage and stuff like that you don't have to worry about smelling like gas or
anything so perfect that's definitely ideal blower for
somebody that's doesn't want anything heavy or doesn't want to have to worry
about cranking on anything so this is a nice little blower and it's a $129 value
so excellent so I said he'll put it and ship it to

what every bad with that that's some gun is as big as a Miata yeah
probably got as much horsepower these yeah the bad boys they really live up to
their name bad boys they built in Batesville
Arkansas so they're american-made really heavy-duty if you're looking for a mower
bang for buck they are one of the best mowers out there hands down
well me Greg had been friends for two or three years now actually had his cousin
was a friend of ours is how we started and then so I've kind of been going with
Greg on the from when I actually first started with the idea of an obeah and he
immediately grasped the idea and it's been the you know it's exciting for me
to see his business growing you know I stopped in here every time I go to
Jacksonville and we kind of go back and forth on where I'm at on the app and he
watches our videos and comments and I was really glad to be able to get
together today and and shoot this video with him so yeah I'm excited about now
I'd be launching because for one you know as a business owner we're always
looking for different ways to market and we're also looking for different ways
for revenue and was no be it's going to provide both a marketing and an
additional revenue for us and our consumers as well so we're excited about
it yeah it's a it's a big thing like I said last night at 1:23 this morning I
got an email from from Apple about the submission of our app and they're so
they've been closed for a few days so you just I guess all the emails started
hitting last night so it's coming through it's not ready to be going to
their store yet but we got a the test email from him last night at 1:23 so
1:30 this morning I was on the phone going through the app so it's coming to
four it's just like his you know it all started with an idea and in your head I
need to get into something I don't know what it is and now it's turned into the
what was award for Platinum Plus for top dealer of the year
for the bad boy the plus my idea for the app started off as an idea I
mean I told you about it when it was really fresh I had I don't think I
had a prototype for anything we would just had just barely started and now
we're by the launch so I just wanted to stop in here on my way home make a quick

brands but it's still really number one outdoor power equipment and house stuff
they're the number one brand out there they're really good product and the
majority of the steel equipment that we sell is made in Virginia Beach Virginia
so still even though they're a german company is actually most of us made in
the united states excellent so i said here in hillier

Fernandina jacksonville Kingsland so about a 50-mile radius appear we deliver
to and we also do construction rental equipment as well that's right that's
right they get what all you have for rent like that we do skid steers mini
excavators backhoes trencher stump grinders they'll deliver those yep we
offer delivery service for them so anything that we do we offer delivery
and pickup and we also offer service for all of the brands that we carry that we
sell new we have a full service department with really good technicians
