This video is going to teach you how to access the TechSmith relay link in your
Boise State website and then download the software into your computer and also
I'm gonna show you some help tutorials which you can use later to create your
videos. So let's get started. To search for the TechSmith relay link we're just
gonna type in the Boise State search bar and then we're
going to look for this link over here. TechSmith relay video at Boise State.
Click on it and then you come to this page and this page. It has the
link to download the software and then it also has some training and help links.
This is important if you click on the training and help link down here the
last link here it leads you to the TechSmith relay tutorial site and there
are some important tutorials here which might be useful. For example, making your
first recording or adding media to your TechSmith relay library these are useful
tutorials which you can later use to create your videos so we're going to go
back to our initial page and then we are going to download the software first. I'm
going to click here download and install TechSmith's Relay. Click here and then
go ahead and click on log into your TechSmith Relay, library here you're
going to use your Boise State email credentials to sign in. Okay
after you do this, go ahead and click on the big blue button here called Create and
then click on Download Recorders, here you'll be given two options
if your computer is a Windows machine you can download the Windows software here
My computer is a Mac one so let me just go ahead and click on Mac download and
then here it is downloading the software in my desktop and then click on save so
it's doing the save here. So I have some software downloaded from an earlier
version so I'm just going to click here and open the software and then go
through the rest of the installation process just click on continue... keep on
clicking and then click on install..It will ask for my password for the computer
which I put in, and then from there... the installation is successful now
and then I'm going to close this. Then for the Mac to launch the software
I will have to go to the Finder and then in the application section I will find
my TechSmith relay software and then I will just go ahead and have the
software launch. So here as you can see it is ready to record your screen. You
can put in a title to your video and then add a description if you want and
then you can start your recording process. So in this video you learn how
