Get Fortnite VBucks by just playing the game - PVE VBucks Farming Guide - Duration: 6:24.
your groups welcome back to the latina army and latina and today I'm gonna look
at just a quick video at farming V books on how to get V books now this is mostly
for Fortnite PvE for the fortnight save the world edition of the game and all
lots of people have got just the battle rail but if you look up here I've got
3,600 V books and I want to show you guys rather than pay for the V books so
a thousand B books he's seven pounds 99 I don't know I've got a lot of American
viewers and viewers in Europe who use euros and dollars but in fair terms and
purposes seven pounds 99 for 1000 V books now what you can do and the best
way to level off our thing is to if you've got the PvE game you shouldn't
ever have to buy these because these are in game currency stands for vendor tech
books I believe but you can use the you can use them in PvE you know in this get
version of the game and you can buy different bits of loot with the V books
or you can use them in the actual game in the battle royale game and you can
use them to spend on that waste totally down to you how you want to do that so
the best way to do the first one to do the first way to get these V box is your
daily quests so let me just close these up a little bit here so you guys can all
see so if you got to do the quests often each day you'll get three daily quests
in there and they'll give you fifty bucks each so if you look at that's a
150 V books each day they're really quick but if you look at this one
complete three play with all those missions and then I'll get another 50 of
e-books to put on top of that so these three missions in there usually and
they'll give you fifty bucks each also the other sections are looking is
challenges you know challenges often off the V books as well so this one lock so
these two are that haven't got them but this one 50 V books in there what the
challenge is often as well it's not only it's not uncommon for this to be another
three in there I think I've done two today already which is why these have
come back up but when you start a day off you'll have another 150 as with the
V box in there which you can do as well so you can probably do all the daily
quests and all the challenges in just about just over an hour I would say and
it probably won't even take you that for some people okay the other place you can
sometimes get them is in the main quest they're not always in there like man at
the minute is too many Larmour rewards but every now and again in the major
story quest you usually get about 100 V books in there but they're not there
every day they're not there all the time and you also can get a storm shield v
books as well every time you defend your storm shield
you know you tend to get a hundred V books from that and also if you use the
collectors book so if you go in to the armory and you go to the collectors book
some of the things up here these are the rewards that you can get but the rewards
appear often you know what you'll find on there is the rewards are often come
up as the books as well the most I've ever got from those from the collectors
book is 500 V books but that changes all the time and then also another place to
get them from V books is the dealer rewards if you go up here and if you
look there if you just logging in each day so when I get today 28 I've got 300
V books they're my next reward that I'm gonna get is 150 of e-books so there's
always things that you can get in there as well so it just keeps going now V
books in PvE are slightly different from the Battle Royale so for tonight about
all rial you would buy skins you would buy you know cosmetic kind of items in
for tonight in PvE so in for tonight save the world you buy these loot liners
if you'll just show you one in here look so if I just claimed one there there you
go so what we do we hit the llama and then what we do we get a lot of this
stuff in here and it just opens it all up I mean you can fast-forward it you
just hold down the bottom here we go so you've got a ton of stuff in there and
then these are things what you can use in game so we've got a rare hero which
is pretty cool rest survival which is great I was telling you guys if you've
watched my other video which was about the leveling up in fort now survivors
are absolutely extremely important for the game so which is pretty awesome so
you know and you can clone them you can buy them with V books that was one using
the fort nightmares candy but if we use this one let's just do one more while
we're here so we just hit that open I'll fast forward this a lot of people do
these alarma openings and a falling out Lima opening oh we've got some sort of
epic item here oh we can have a scythe or an app let's get a scythe I don't
think I've got any sides yet awesome so we've got our copper sized schematic
which means I can make my own sides now which is fantastic I've got a lot of the
already got 350 candy in that one which is great cuz that means we can
claim another llama let's do it why not
so we open this up and then we'll just fast forward that I always fast forward
in case Joe until we get any epics or survivor XP massively important there we
go and that's that done so if you are not this sort then so just having a
quick look at this you know you can get if you do all your dailies which is 150
and the three challenges that's 300 if you do a storm shield defense and then
two major story quests you know that's six hundred now that means that in two
days potentially you could get so let's just say on average you get between 400
and 600 three books a day following these methods that I've just shown you
one here so if you do that over two days then you're gonna get between 800 and
1,200 V books every day which if your law is about 799 s if you want that or
say over a week you know you're looking well over 20 power well over the 20
pounds mark and what you're gonna be saving you're almost going to be making
I mean you can't sell these things on but you know if value for money wise if
you look rather than spend of ebooks if you've got the PvE version you can farm
them it's super easy so what I would say I'll just quickly recap them so you want
to be doing the daily quests all of those it should be three of challenges
you're gonna get three of those a day as well I would do one storm shield defense
and two main store requests you know if you can get them an out even one main
story quests should probably be enough and you'll be earning anywhere between
as I said 4 to 600 V books every single day so that's the best way to do it guys
and then you can get all your cosmetics and you can you know go into battle
royale if you want you know if that's your thing or you can get more llamas
and upgrade yeah you're survivors or do it get some legendary heroes and things
like that it's totally down to you because if
you've got another way of making more money in there you know them please let
me know in the comments down below and if you're not part of the Montana army
already and you want to see more Fortnight guides make sure that you
subscribe and I will catch you guys on the next video thanks for watching guys
you

GETTING STARTED IN RELATIONSHIPS | Masculinity's Guide to Accountability & Commitment w Steve Mayeda - Duration: 16:17.
so how do we make a relationship work what kind of a crazy question is this
this is our Daily Awesome podcast and Men this is a podcast about men's
development men's excellence where we talk about all sorts of crazy stuff like
this so anything with dating sex perspective mentality you know how to
get yourself right that's what this podcast is about and if you like it
click the Free Stuff Link down below check out what we got we have almost 800
videos that all deal with this and not only that we have just tons of free
programs so it's super great like fitness stuff there's dating stuff
there's pdfs there's video series there's groups there's the Asda men's
development group and there's immense development excellence group that's AMD
plus we got you covered and this is all recorded live on a call
it is the 8th of November 2017 and we are on a men's development excellence
call in fact I'll stand corrected we're on at TSL online call and the men's
development excellence calls a little bit later so if you want to get involved
in those you got to sign up for TSL Online or md excellence and if you're a guy
that wasn't better yourself I'd recommend it so let's get into the meat
of all this now that we're done with that and let's dive into it because this
is a huge question and it's coming from so many different perspectives what's
very important is that we have a dialogue about this so the guy that
asked this question is he's fairly young he's 24 or 25 I forget the exact age but
got a lot going in his life has great dating skills is able to meet women and
be sexual and so on and so in that context it's a certain type of question
but let's say you're 30 and you're asking that question let's say you're 40
let's say your dating skills aren't great and you're 28 so there's all sorts
of different variables that come in it and one of the things I ask people to
start with is a definition now rule number one is your definitions about
what you want in your life are bullshit they're most likely not going to happen
but the reason why we need to look at them is for a couple of reasons number
one self responsibility all right so we're looking at ourselves to guide us
we're accepting our problems our wants our desires and our directions to move
into very very big I mean this is this is
paramount in at all however we see this so much in the dating world so if
anybody's on an online dating app you see well I don't want to you know just
be used I don't want to have this and that I got out of a relationship here's
what I wanted a relationship here's the type of guy I'm looking for here's the
type of girl I'm looking for there's this endless checklist of different
things that we think we want and the fact of the matter is is what we end up
dating that the relationships that we end up having are never that and I could
say this for myself because my amazing wife you know I wanted I know what I
want I knew exactly what I wanted I knew all of that stuff but guess what it
never amounted into the picture of exactly what she is it was very
different than what she is now that doesn't mean I'm unhappy that doesn't
mean anything it just means that when we don't have a relationship it's very hard
to have a definition so we create a definition so that we can one have
personal responsibility of our desires our wants and so on and when we
encounter problems we solve them ourselves but also it's a starting place
for us to know the direction to go in so very very important is to go like hey
what do you want so my man you know who's very good with women and he's
about 24 years old you know he's looking at like man I don't know what I want but
I know I have this urge and this feeling towards it so here's the other
interesting and amazing thing about it so when it comes down to dating
relationships sex all these different things as soon as we start to have our
emotions involved in somebody as soon as we have our sex involved with somebody
as soon as that desire builds guess what happens we stop having a choice we stop
having this this idea of controlling things we just want to experience so our
hearts open up is an open field our minds open up is an open field
our sex opens up as an open field and it just says go go go it's easy to fall in
love it's easy to to feel good about something and if you're not having those
experiences for instance if you're dating a lot and you haven't really
hooked a girl or fallen into a relationship or have these
have them have these experiences that a lot of these people talk about well
there's two things that you're having trouble with and that's not exactly what
this podcast is about but I'll include a playlist where you could learn about
those things and that would be a modem so your connection isn't strong with
your emotions and sharing in exchange having that empathy or your seduction
your seduction is not connecting okay and if you have those two things in over
in order you're going to naturally connect with people all right into a
point where you hit that open field you know love and sex become this natural
phenomenon so let's talk about this natural phenomenon and then we'll get to
the overall answer of you know what do we do when we really want a relationship
to happen you know how do we make a relationship work so the thing is is
that when we have these feelings and we need to we need to talk about this as
men this is huge guys you need to realize this is going to happen when
your heart opens up when your sex opens up with a woman you feel the feelings of
monogamy monogamy is a phenomenon right so monogamy is a social definition for
how we have relationships and there's all these arguments of is this good or
is this bad and so on and I've been in monogamous relationship for a while now
but the thing is is yeah it's also unnatural and whatever but here's what's
natural about it let's take away all the social definitions and all the kudos
should of what does if you were sexually active of somebody if you're having an
emotional exchange with somebody there's going to be a point where she wants full
commitment from you she feels that it's not even making a commitment there's no
definition yet there's just this overwhelming feeling that a woman is
gonna have when that happens that's like oh my god I need this man this man needs
to be here that wears my security of this I want this I just I'd get so
jealous if somebody else was around this is feeling that saying that and there's
this feeling that comes across with a man that could have some of those
characteristics involved in it but also this feeling of a man saying man I want
to do everything for this woman like I am good I like I would have her for the
rest of my life I I want this this is beautiful I'm gonna do everything for
let's go on a trip let's do blah blah blah blah blah all this stuff that you
know what we hear in a lot of the man culture which is like you know where
we see all these men looking searching for definitions of themselves not
because we don't have that but this is one of those things where from the hurt
man culture they go that's weakness that's how you get hurt and so on it's a
natural feeling all right it's a natural feeling and you got to acknowledge that
first if you deny it it's gonna be imprisoned and fight fight fight to get
out so you're gonna have a feeling of what we'll call socially monogamy but
remember it's a feeling first the woman has her feelings of like I want this guy
can't be with anybody else and then there's this dude with his feelings
going like I want this girl she can't be with any anybody else they have
different characteristics and flavors of one another then through life and
cultures and so on and you know different types and styles of
relationships you know we then call that monogamy so you're gonna feel that and
it's gonna be awesome so when you feel that and you want to to continue on with
it you then make a commitment now here's what's gonna make your relationship work
is your alignment to that commitment here's the thing guys you're gonna feel
that commitment you're gonna have the desire to make it you're gonna overcome
it you're gonna commit to shit which you
don't know about because one you may not be familiar with the phenomenon of love
and your experience with that but more importantly you don't really know her
you know her on the 4-month her the 2-month her the few good weeks of good
sex her those types of things and she knows you in that way so you guys don't
fully know each other yet but you make a commitment now you can be wrong about
that commitment you just have to learn to communicate out of it but in that
commitment and I don't mean this in some old-fashioned way that commitment is an
attempt to fulfill that feeling that you wanted remember that feeling that that
turns into that definition of monogamy if I want to give myself to her I want
to do everything for her well guess what you know you stop having sex fuel your
relationship you stop having the novelty of new experiences fuel your
relationship you stop having or you start having arguments you start having
things which piss you off about her you know she doesn't you know do certain
things that maybe another girl should or would
whatever and you start losing that momentum right and it starts getting a
little bit boring and guess what you're probably getting a
little bit boring to her or unknowing to her but where does that commitment stand
when you made that commitment in that choice just as a personal thing again
don't think of this as like this old-fashioned like get in line with your
commitments in it and it can translate to that but I want you to think of it in
this way that commitment is going hey I had a value and I had a feeling that I
felt that was real and it made me decide this and remember that checklist of that
personal definition of what we wanted what was the main reason the main reason
was personal responsibility so ownership of self knowing that you made a
definition of what you wanted to go for and as I said for me man I fucking know
what I want but what did I get something totally different that I was absolutely
happy with all right but in all of that my commitment the same thing it's just
as blind is that want but my commitment may want to continue is that part of
myself that wanted to dedicate my life to her or so on and these types of
things right which now is you know conflicted with these annoying things
these other problems these things in a relationship that we have that that you
know fuck us up and so on and and whatever you know is that still there
and that's a hard thing to determine that's why you need a men's group man
that's why you need to bounce stuff off other guys who know you and can can hold
you to account ability not accountability like did you get your
goal done but the accountability of actually going like hey man I know what
you're capable of I know your potential and are you living up to it so in that
man like can we find the commitment to that you know can we find the the
accountability of ourselves and the man that shows like hey I want to dedicate
the cell myself to this because I believe in me and I believe in love and
I believe I wanted to do this but perhaps it's that I wanted to see if I
could do this in my life perhaps I wanted to see if I was capable of this
type of relationship perhaps I was capable of deciding whether or not you
know man this girl could live up to whatever and that is far more important
than your annoyance if let's put it this way if you ever so many people break up
with women for stupid reasons for or women break up with men either way
oh man I didn't like him oh we had this fight oh we had this dramatic thing oh
he's an asshole oh the sex was bad oh the blah blah blah and we go through
this checklist which probably wasn't true and we're not being real with
ourselves anytime I hear somebody complaining to me about a breakup and
they're like they want to blame the other person in any sort of way you're
lying to yourself you're taking your responsibility out of it that's not the
real reason why you broke up that's not the total picture that's the one thing
that you could flag that makes you look good or whatever it is but the thing is
is that I hate this we need to break up with somebody because we make a choice
that this wasn't the right person all right and so that's why we need to
cultivate this to make a relationship work you need to get in touch with the
commitment that you had when you felt the feeling of monogamy when you felt
the feeling of you wanted to dedicate your life to somebody because I'll tell
you this man five six years down the road where I'm at I don't have that
feeling anymore I don't have that feeling don't like oh my gosh
Maria is is this woman that I just want to do everything for but the commitment
that I made in it has elements of that so take out the novelty trick take out
the crazy like sex six times a day which would like to do them fuck the fucking
crazy man I'm pretty sexual person but this was beyond beyond man that's that's
that's one thing that really solidified the beginnings of that relationship but
take all of that out of it take all of the highlights take all of the things of
going that oh my god this is so amazing and what do we have it's so much more
it's actually so much more but if I just cave to the annoyance the little fights
the times when we do have misinterpretations or bad sex or things
that don't communicate with each other or the times where we crossed each other
in whatever ways if we if we did not align with our commitment
of who we you are in the person that we believed we could be in the road that we
wanted to walk down on if we didn't align with that and then keep that in
check yeah we deject in the fact of the matter is is what I want from all people
whether you're learning to talk to people where you're going into a
business interview you're learning to talk to women for the first time or
you're actually you know having relationships
I want you making a choice I don't want you making a reaction all right because
the reaction doesn't accept responsibility of self and it causes
conflict and disconnect where it doesn't need to be we're so afraid of being
judged that we don't show our real selves and you know then we just react
towards one another so we need to fuel our relationships by choice and we can
decide this isn't working out for us so just know guys we're gonna have this
feelings overwhelming feeling to commit to somebody we're gonna want that that's
gonna run out you know that's gonna change it's not a question of this
monogamy or polyamory or swinging or whatever the fuck it is or you know
going you know signing off women forever or whatever is the the answer it's more
that there's different phases in your life that you're gonna feel you need to
learn to articulate them that being said you know if we feel that it's not the
right thing we also need to learn to break up properly cuz that's tough too
you know that's a lot of pain sometimes you don't want to feel that sometimes we
need to react and masks our masks ourselves and be a total asshole to make
that happen we don't want to have relationships and breakups like that we
want ones where we're fluid in ourselves and it's a very confusing thing why you
need a men's group in any case this is what we're talking about tonight on a
daily awesome podcast and what we're gonna be talking about more and more and
more and more and we're gonna go on it's early on it's only 8:50 this call is

and I will delete this bonus folder because it's not necessary right now.
Then first you have to load the programs
when you open the PCG file
you'll see there are two different types of banks
as you know one type is the EXi program
and the other one is HD-1
so if your bank's U-CC and U-DD are already empty
you can load them directly
or if you want to load them to a different location
you have to open them and select them individually like this
(Check manual)
say Load
pick your place
I want them to be loaded into User-CC Bank
say ok. when it's finished go up
and do the same thing to the other bank
in fact I'll load them directly to User-DD so I say okay
after you load your programs
just go to 24k folder and load the sequencer file
and then go to the sequencer mode
you see it says samples not loaded
there are two things you can do right now
if you select Load Required Samples
it finds them automatically for you
but you have to do that each time you restart your machine
and if you want them to be loaded automatically
just go to global mode
and in KSC Auto-load tab, Add KSC
and find the 24k UserBank.KSC
and I'll do the same thing to Thriller
I go up and find this file and add it
and when you go back to sequencer mode
still it says
samples not loaded because we didn't do the auto-load
or we didn't restart the Kronos
so right now I'll just go and select Load Required Samples
and say load
now it works
and if you go back to Thriller folder
you'll see that there are two options
if you have the first-generation Kronos or the Kronos X
you have to select this folder
and if you have the new Kronos
you have to use this folder
I'll use this one because I have Kronos X
and I'll load the file
and still it says samples not loaded
because I didn't do the auto load
or I didn't restart the Kronos
so I'll just go and
select load required samples
now it works too.
For Thriller I also added an easier mode it says auto
and there's also the manual mode
the only difference between them is
in auto mode you don't have to deal with
karma scene changes or switches
so you can just focus on playing the keys
the sequencer does that for you
and one thing you have to do
before playing these sequencer files
you have to go to global mode
and select the Controllers/Scales tab
and in order to use the foot pedal
you have to assign it to Foot Pedal CC04
and if you want to play the chord pads
with your MIDI keyboard
you have to assign the lowest white keys of your midi keyboard
to Chord Pads here
and your MIDI keyboard's MIDI channel should be 1 for 24k
and 16 for Thriller.
And also you should find the lowest key on your MIDI keyboard
using the octave buttons (only for 24K)
and now we are ready to play
if you have any questions feel free to ask
and if you have any suggestions leave a comment
and don't forget to subscribe and follow
have fun!

Hush • S04E10 • TPN's Buffy Guide - Duration: 11:28.
Hush is almost universally considered to be one of Buffy's greatest achievements in
artistic composition, if not the greatest.
Music, theme, design, and cinematography all inform each other, and weave together in a
perfect pitch.
And Hush owns the distinction for being the only episode of the show to be nominated for
an Emmy in writing.
Which is an irony considering only 17 of its 44 minutes contain any dialogue.
The show is known for subverting tropes and ideas, but here, in a way similar to the Zeppo,
the show is subverting itself.
Hush a classic episode of not just Buffy, but television itself.
Summary
Buffy is called to the front of the room by Professor Walsh to demonstrate the difference
between communication and language.
When she does Riley is made to kiss her in front everyone and we realize she's in a
dream.
101
Quick bit of trivia.
Whedon crammed actor he could into the scene and if you watch carefully you see the first
appearance by Andy Hallet in the Buffyverse.
If you don't know who that is then I have to ask...why haven't you watched Angel yet?
Buffy steps into the hallways to see a young girl chanting over a box and is frightened
by terrifying floating corpse with a rictus grin.
After Buffy awakens in class, Willow, Riley, and she attempt to deconstruct her dream.
Willow excuses herself to Wicca class and Riley and Buffy almost have their first kiss
except for the fact that they can't stop awkwardly talking through it.
At casa de Giles, Spike is now free to roam and is becoming adorably domestic.
6:40 "We're out of Wheatbix."
Xander and Anya stop by mid-argument over where their relationship is going.
Giles says he has a friend coming over and asks Xander to take Spike for the night.
At Wicca group Willow is underwhelmed by the level of magic she's surrounded by.
"Also who let their scented candles drip all over my woman power shrine."
201
She attempts to entice the group with the suggestion of spells and is quickly shot down.
And we see a quiet timid young woman in the circle take notice of her.
Willow vents to Buffy about the group and Buffy explains her frustration over how she
and Riley are stuck.
11:00 "Every time the Slayer thing comes up I have to lie."
Riley is also trying to work out his side of things with Buffy.
Only problem is all he has to talk to is Forrest and Forrest sucks.
I started wondering, is that the only reason Forrest is in this season?
To make...Riley...look good.
Over in Xander's parent's basement, Xander is tying Spike to a chair for the evening.
"Like I'd bite you anyway."
And as everyone goes to sleep, somewhere in town, ghostly fingers open a box and every
voice in town is stolen.
The next morning Buffy wakes and begins the first of one my favorite scenes in this episode.
The long buildup to the moment she realizes something is amiss.
She goes to the bathroom, brushes her teeth.
In the hallway, a crying girl passes her.
She returns to the room, Willow stands to say hello, and they realize...something is
wrong.
The whole scene reminds me of the famous bomb under the table Hitchcock quote about how
to build tension in storytelling.
The rote and tedious underpinnings of Buffy's morning routine might not make particularly
interesting fodder in a normal episode, but in one in which we the audience have seen
what we've seen it becomes vital emotional buildup to Willow and Buffy's realization.
The two of them walk the streets of Sunnydale's commercial district, taking in the chaos.
And again, I love the visual storytelling.
Painting emotion rather than speaking it, even if it is painting with a broad brush
it's still a lot of fun.
Giles and Professor Walsh say they'll need to patrol tonight to keep the peace.
On patrol that night Riley and Buffy run into each other and, unable to speak, and finally…
*Kiss
And at the watchtower from earlier, a door opens and out come...the gentleman.
301
I will say, I struggled a bit with how to write the summary for this sequence
Okay...so there are these dudes...and they smile a lot.
But not in a fun way.
In a Pennywise on crack and meth kind of way.
And they have these...slaves?
Record scratch
So some floaty dudes with blinged out grills go out with some escaped mental p's, scoping
for hearts..."
Anyway, the gentleman find their way to a dorm room.
And this poor college student gets held to the bed by the mental patients while the gentleman
smile over him and remove a scapel from their bags.
As he screams on we get without being told one of the many reasons for the voice stealing.
Giles gathers the group in an auditorium and leads them through some of his trademark exposition.
Lacking his voice to lend the whole thing the same sort of gravitas he instead plays
the Danse Macabre.
In order to kill them, Buffy must get her voice back and scream, though he doesn't
know how she's to do that.
The scene ends with a cool little shot of Buffy through one of Giles transparencies,
visually implying her indelible connection to darkness as the Slayer.
Out on patrol, Riley and Buffy discover each other fighting in the Gentleman's tower
and Riley learns there is more to Buffy than he realized.
Meanwhile Tara goes to find Willow to see if they can resolve the madness.
Pursued by the Gentleman she eventually finds her way to Willows door.
34:43
Interesting emotional byproduct for me of this shot.
The Gentleman have muted Willow's ability to express her insecurity.
And without that I just kind of see...a warrior.
Maybe I'm projecting.
They escape to the basement laundry room.
Willow can't block the door on her own and without being able to speak.
But together she and Tara combined manage to block the door.
Buffy and Riley fight towards the box.
Riley shatters it and Buffy ends the gentleman's scourge with her restored voice.
*scream
And the episode ends with Riley and Buffy, their voices restored, not being able to talk.
401
Analysis
Hard to sum up my feelings for Hush completely except to say that it is such a joyful treat.
This is probably the most cinematic of any of the episodes so far.
As I've mentioned previously Whedon has joked in interviews that he partly considered
Buffy his medium for training himself to be a director.
And, approaching Hush, he felt like he was becoming more of a hack dependent on dialogue.
2 shot, 2 shot, 2 shot.
Hush was his attempt to force himself into new modes of thinking and storytelling.
As I said, Buffy is a show about subverting expectations and cliches and, with Hush, Whedon
is subverting itself.
16:52
And, compared to the long static scenes in the library from Season 3, Hush at times almost
feels like a different show.
The camera is so often alive and in motion, conveying with movement what the character's
cannot speak.
The push in on Riley at the frat house for instance as all hell breaks loose.
The camera movement charges the scene with a sense of peril and imperative that would've
been impossible without.
And I love the long slow buildup to Buffy and Willow realizing they can't speak.
The ambient sound.
The toilet flushing.
As we wait for Hitchcock's bomb under the table to go off.
18:00 The fact that the glass breaking in the student
common area is so jarring speaks to the effectiveness of the episodes aesthetics.
So much said, with silence.
And without a lot of dialogue to cover, Christophe Beck's score blossoms.
Feeling contemporary and somehow like a fairy tale throwback all at once.
32:33 But Whedon and Beck know when to lay it on,
and when to be silent.
As in the scene with Tara picking up her things.
There is nothing but ambient audio and in the background we see, the gentlemen coming
towards her.
It is so frightening and well done.
Lore-wise, the groundwork for this fairy tales becoming real thing was in Gingerbread.
I consider this episode Gingerbreads most redeeming feature.
But this is fairy tale Buffy style.
Buffy is the Princess yes, but it's the evil men that live in the tower she must break
into to win the day.
And rather than being rescued by her Prince, she is the one swinging Robin Hood from the
rafter's saving him.
And, perhaps self-evidently, the entire episode is about communication.
Walsh lays out the theme in Buffy's opening dream
501
"It's about communication, not language."
Each character is suffering a sort of, communication crisis.
Xander can't express himself to Anya and Anya can't speak with anything other than
anvil language.
"All you care about is lots of orgasms?"
Every time Riley and Buffy seem on the verge of something happening they block it with
too much talking.
And all Giles seems to want is for the talking to go away.
I like the commentary on how an over-abundance of talk can actually barrier to real intimate
communication.
A defense mechanism.
And sometimes there can be more communicated in a look or the interlacing of fingers than
in an entire hour of talking.
Two people together accomplishing more than they can alone.
Whedon says in the DVD commentary, "language can interfere with communication.
As soon as you say something, you've eliminated every other possibility of what you're talking
about."
As ever, Hush is laden with sexual symbolism, much of it indicated by Buffy's original
dream.
As I talked about in the previous episode, Buffy is dealing with feelings about men and
relationships.
The man (kind-of) that she's trying to let go of is Angel, who turned evil post sex and
broke up with her on her Prom night.
Then you have Parker, the sexual manipulator.
And then Spike for half a day, at the end of which Buffy tells Willow, she gets the
bad boy thing.
And in the opening dream, Walsh says to Riley:
"Be a good boy."
Riley says to Buffy their kiss will make the sun go down, and sure enough, their moment
of intimacy brings in the dream.
*gentleman hand on Buffy's shoulder.
Buffy's dreams are precognitive, but there's nothing to say that here she hasn't layered
them with her own subconscious trepidation and anxiety.
Though...maybe not entirely, as we'll get to.
The Gentleman work as a patriarchal symbol, as well as an ugly sexual one, though those
two ideas might a bit synonymous.
In an interview, Whedon described them as Victorian, representing a certain class.
They are all prim, proper, and polite while terrorizing the towns they come to.
The live in a big giant phallus.
They are all white and, as the name suggests, men.
And in the episode, they invade the personal spaces of their victims, penetrate their bodies,
and float away with their hearts.
And Buffy turned Riley into one of them in her dream.
Their sexual symbolism is restated in Giles' exposition keynote, when he puts up the slide
asking, "What do they want?"
*Willow points to Chest/ boobies
And again, when Buffy suggests how to kill them.
*masturbation stabbing motion
The Gentleman are a small insulated group, and by virtue of their terrifying smiles and
polite mannerisms, seemingly oblivious to the terror and mayhem they bring upon a town.
In effect, the gentleman form a sort of institution, something the show takes a very negative perspective
on, as we saw with the Watcher's council and the school board earlier.
There are two institutions of note in this episode.
The Gentleman being the first, and the Wicca group being the other.
One, all male, is terrifying.
The other, all female, is played for laughs, which Rhona Wilcox suggests in her book Why
Buffy Matters, might speak to the differences in their power.
601
Giving a bit away here, throughout the next two seasons there will be two primary relationships
existing in parallel to each other.
Buffy and Riley alongside the new friendship of Willow and Tara.
Notice how the relationships play out over the course of the episode.
In their fight with the Gentleman Willow and Tara pair together to move the soda machine
with power and authority, banning the white male Gentleman intruders.
Buffy and Riley fight in the same space but alone and independent from each other.
Their fighting is dissonant, and solitary.
Their communication marred with mistakes.
And at the end of the episode, when Willow and Tara can't stop talking with each other
Buffy and Riley can't find the words.
The episode has such a wonderful harmony of elements, visual, thematic, and musical.
I do love how the episode suggests that language can become an impediment to love's expression.
We've mentioned before that one of the weird byproducts of Whedon episodes is that they
feel SO entirely a cut above the rest.
Sharper.
Better looking.
More alive.
Certainly that's because of Whedon has a singular nature but, in the DVD commentary
for the Hush he mentioned a more practical reason that I hadn't considered.
Buffy was HIS show and he was the showrunner ultimately responsible for the final decisions
on everything.
Which empowered him to take more risks than any of the other writers and directors on
the show.
Consequently his episodes feel more experimental.
More ambitious.
And have rockets.
Conclusion
I love the episode, and can understand anyone who counts it as one of their favorites in
the series.
But when I watch Buffy I do so from two simultaneous perspectives, my head and my heart.
Hush is an aesthetic treasure but it's not one of the episodes that comes back to me
when I'm begging my friends to watch the show.
When I do that, I'm thinking about Prophecy Girl, and Becoming Part 2, and the Prom.
Hush is stylish high concept art and I love it, but honestly there are SO many episodes
that mean more to me as a fan, including this season.
And a wonderful exercise in style like Hush, can still be capable of punctuating dramatic
resonance.
As the show itself will prove, in just under 2 seasons.

What is bitcoin | Beginners Guide - Duration: 6:19.
Hello guys welcome to the channel of learners where learning is fun
Please subscribe our channel and enable the notification bell for wonderful learning videos
Today I am here to explain you what bitcoin is
Bitcoin is a form of digital currency
Created and held electronically no one controls it because an printed like dollars or Euros
They are produced by people and increasingly businesses
Running computers all around the wall using software that solves mathematical problems
Is the first example of a growing category of money known as cryptocurrency? I know it's somewhat confusing, but watch our full video
to
Be sure about it to learn perfectly about it
What makes it different from normal currencies?
Bitcoin can be used to buy things electronically in that sense it is like conventional dollars euros or in
Which also traded digitally?
However bitcoins most important characteristic and the thing that makes it different to conventional money is that it's decentralized
No single institution controls the Bitcoin network this puts some people at ease because it means that a large bank control
Their money and now the last bank can't control their money who created it a
software developer called Satoshi Nakamoto promoted Bitcoin which was an electronic payment system based on mathematical proof
This idea was to produce a currency independent of any central authority transfer variable
electronically more or less
instantly with very low transaction fees
Who prints it?
No one this currency isn't physically printed in the shadows by a central bank
Unaccountable to the population and making it own rules
Those banks can simply produce more money to cover the National depth thus devaluating their currency instead
Bitcoin is created digitally by a community of people that anyone can join
Bitcoins are mined using computer power in the distributed network this network also processes transactions made with the virtual currency
in fact making Bitcoin its own payment network
I know it's confusing and a bit serious, but watch a full video to get detailed information a Bitcoin
So you can turn out?
unlimited bitcoins
That's right the Bitcoin protocol the rules that make Bitcoin walk say that only 21 million bitcoins can
Ever be created by miners
However these coins can be divided into smaller parts the smallest dividual amount is 100 millionth of a Bitcoin and is called a Satoshi
named after the founder of Bitcoin
What is Bitcoin based on
Conventional currency has been based on gold or silver
Theoretical you know that if you handed over a dollar at the bank
You could get some gold back although these designs actually work in practice, but Bitcoin isn't based on gold it's based on mathematics
Around the world people are using software programs that follow a mathematical formula to produce
Bitcoins the mathematical formula is freely available so that anyone can check it
The software is also an open source meaning that anyone can look at it to make sure that it does what it is supposed to
What are its characteristics
Bitcoin has several important features that set it apart from government backed currencies number one. It is decentralized
the Bitcoin network
Isn't controlled by one central authority?
Every machine that means Bitcoin and processes transactions mix up a part of the network and the machines work together
That means that in theory one central authority can tinker with
Monetary policy and cause a meltdown or simply decide to take people's Bitcoin away from them as a Central European Bank decided to do in
Cyprus in early 2013 and
If some part of the network goes offline or for some reason the money kept on flowing
Number two it is easy to set up
Conventional banks make you jump through hoops simply to open a bank account
Setting up more tent accounts for payment is another
task beset by bureaucracy
However, you can set up a Bitcoin address in seconds no questions asked and with no fees payable
It is anonymous well kind of anonymous
Users can hold multiple bitcoins addresses, and they can't link to name addresses or any other personally identifying information
It's completely transparent
Bitcoin stores details of every single transaction that ever happened in the network in a huge version of a general laser
Called the blockchain
the blocks entails all
If we have a publicly used Bitcoin address anyone can tell how many Bitcoin I stood at the address
The - don't know that it's yours
There are measures that people can take to make their activities more opak on the Bitcoin
Network door such as not using the same between addresses consistently and not
transferring a lot of Bitcoin to a single address
number five
Transaction fees are meaning is called the bank may charge you or
Hundred pound fee or for international transfers Bitcoin doesn't it is fast?
You can send money anyway and all over the world and it will arrive minutes later as soon as the Bitcoin network processes the payment
It is non. Reputable when your bitcoins are sent via is no getting them back unless the
Recipient returns them to you. They are gone forever
So Bitcoin has a lot going for it in theory, but how does it work in practice?
watch more of our videos to find out how bitcoins are mined what happens when a Bitcoin transaction occurs and
how the network keeps track of everything I
Hope you guys like our video and please don't forget to subscribe

Color Mixing Guide--Make It Yourself (Mis Vid) - Duration: 6:05.
The purpose of this video is to show you how to make reference cards with the colors that you use. Each color is
Obviously different, but colors can vary even from brand to brand so in order to be able to predict
What colors you'll get when you paint it's best to have a reference
There are books that will break this all down for you
but they may or may not be using
your brand of colors. This video breaks down how to make a color swatch with two colors and
All the colors you can find in between those colors and also some lighter versions of those same colors
This is so helpful to have as a reference
Everybody's got an opinion about how to mix your colors,
but you know what? You just gotta do it yourself.
I did it myself and I'll show ya how I did it myself and you can do it yourself.
This is gonna be a fun tutorial, I can already tell.
Here is burnt umber burnt sienna and
Titanium white I'm going to make this reference using my pallet knife instead of
a paintbrush this saves time because a pallet knife is much
easier to clean. See that reference we're gonna make?
You can have one for every combo of your paints, yours!
Do you see how awesome it's gonna be?
All I have to do is get a paper towel and pinch around the pallet knife and pull the paint off because of the thickness
of the sides of the pallet knife
I also have to wipe down the edges
Otherwise when I use the pallet knife to take a new color, the new color will become contaminated
With the paint on the edge of the pallet knives
Is it really, necessary to exercise that degree of perfectionism
I suppose not
Starting with burnt umber the pure color comes out of the tube
And I'm mixing white to see what sort of hue it is when the value is lighter
Whoah!! Did she just say what hue is?
If you add white it's the same hue because hue means color.
It's the same color. It's just lighter that means
It's a different value. I can thank me for your art education with tuition I mean
A comment below.
There's what mixing looks like.
Here we can see a range of values and what they look like from burnt umber. It's a short range
I do the same thing on the opposite side of the card with burnt sienna next I want to mix a color
That is halfway between burnt sienna and burnt umber on the first pass I take an equal part burnt umber and burnt sienna
And mix them together, but the result looks more like burnt umber than burnt sienna
This color is too burnt umber!
The result is not in the middle which is typical. When I'm looking for the middle
I want something that looks to the visual eye like it's the middle not necessarily
what I get from mixing equal parts. Darn!
Now that I've added some burnt sienna. It looks too close to the burnt sienna and not close enough to the burnt umber
Ugh! This color is too burnt sienna!
Adding just a smidgen more of burnt umber
I'm getting a color that I feel is not looking so close to either of its parent colors and
Visually seems to be in the middle
(Gasp) This color is just right!
So here's the updated
reference card with burnt number on the right burnt sienna on the left and our middle color in the middle you can see in the
Top section that I scrape little lines the reason I did this is because these colors are fairly
Transparent when they're applied thinly we can see through them. I want to be able to see what color
I'm gonna get if I apply the paint
Thinly and also what it would look like if I'm applying it thickly
I don't make the same
Marks in these lower colors because they have so much white in them that they are not transparent light is opaque
If I tried out for Goldilocks, do you think I'd get the part?
As you can see trying to find the color between burnt umber and the middle is very difficult
It gets a little tedious making these color swatches, but you learn so much
And, you gonna save paint in the long run,
And you can use it as a reference and save frustration and it's worth it!
Looking at this swatch of color it seems too dark to be compared to this one
But it kind of looks like it matches with this one
This is where it gets tricky because ideally I want them to all be about the same lightness or darkness
I did end up lightening this one a little
But I didn't want to go too light because this one's pretty dark and these seem to match too. In retrospect it probably
Would have been the best thing to actually darken this one a little bit, but I didn't do that. It's okay
The more you do these types of swatches the better you get at it
Practice makes perfect!
I gotta practice my hairdoing skills a little bit!
But this serves my purpose. Here, I've labeled my new swatch and hung it up with the others
I've written down the names of the colors. I used there I made note of how transparent or opaque
It was as well as the code for the color
PBr7 I was really baffled by this
PBr7 because each color is supposed to have an
Individual number based on what it's made out of and I was confused that these two different colors had the same code on it
So I googled it looking for a reason why and I found out that they're actually made out of the same
Material the different colors come from the amount of heat applied to the original pigment
Mystery solved, thank you, Google.
So here is my new color swatch added to my wall
(applause)

06 Beginner's Guide to Python - Simple Functions - Duration: 13:55.
In this video I'm going to show you how to use functions in Python. Okay so let's
load up our atom editor with our project that we had from our last lesson. We're
going to create a new file here and let's call it functions.py okay so this
is our new blank functions file now a function in Python is just a way of
defining a block of code that you can repeat elsewhere in the... in your source
code. The difference between a function and a while loop or something like that
is that a function you can pass in various variables to customize the
variables in the code that you execute so I'm going to demonstrate how
you do this and then you'll understand how it works and how they can be useful in
your code. Ok so let's pretend we're writing a piece of code for a store and
let's stick with the same theme that we've had in the previous two videos
we're going to be selling apples in our store and let's say we want to write a
simple script that greets the customer when they come in so we want to greet
them by their name and we want to tell them how many apples we have in stock. Ok
so let's start by just writing these lines out individually so let's print
"Hello, Mark" and under that print "We have 6 apples in stock". Ok so I'm gonna save
that file and let's copy and paste these two lines and paste them two more so we
have this 3 kind of blocks a code here and let's change the name so let's
say we have Brooke and then we have Greg coming to the store. Alright so save the
file and then load up the terminal or command prompt window and let's run our
function script by typing python functions.py. Okay so you can see that
it outputs on the screen the name of each person and how many apples we
have in stock. Alright so you can see that this code is a bit repetitive we've
repeated the same thing three times we literally had to copy and paste and all
we've done is changed the text in here and there's a lot of repeating text that
we've entered more times than we need to. So for example "hello" here this is the
same for all of them. And "we have" and "apples in stock"... well this actual string
is the same for all of them but let's pretend that this may change so we're
basically...You can see that it's repeating the code here. We're also repeating the print
functions and there's a lot of repetitiveness going on. Good source code
has limited repetitiveness. There's a concept called DRY which is do not
repeat yourself and that means don't repeat unnecessary blocks of code in
your application because then if we ever wanted to change this text we would have
to change it in all of these three places as opposed to just changing it in
one. So I'm going to show you how you can use functions to reduce code
duplication. Alright so before we actually reduce the code duplication I'm
just going to show you how to make a simple function in Python. Alright so the
way you define a function in Python is you use the DEF - it's short for define and
then the name of the function that you want to define. So let's create a
function called greet mark so I'm going to define def and I'm going to create a
function called greet_mark and each function that you define needs to
end in two brackets I'll explain why a bit later in this video. Alright so you
write def, the name of the function, open and close brackets and then a colon. If you
hit enter after the codon you can see that Atom automatically indents this
here because as with the while loops that we learnt in the previous lesson
the function code is grouped by the indentation so any code we want to
include in this function needs to be indented by one tab underneath this
function. Okay so that's our first function let's create one for each of
these blocks so I'm gonna copy and paste this here, copy and paste this here
then I change this to Brooke and I'm going to change this to Greg and then I'm
gonna indent these two here, save that. The best practice is to use two spaces in
between these functions when you're doing it in a single Python file like
this. So now we've defined our function if we go to our command
prompt and we run the code you actually see that it doesn't output anything now
and that's because defining the function just isn't enough you actually need to
call the function after you defined it. So underneath these functions we're
going to call the function so make sure that we're indented back to the base
level of the file and the way you call the function is you simply provide the
function name and the brackets without the def because
we've already defined it. We just want to call it now so if I write greet
mark and then again I'm gonna copy and paste that I'm gonna put greet Brooke
greet Greg and then save the file and if you load up command prompt push up and
do Python functions you can see their outputs exactly the same as before
and it may seem backwards because we've actually created more lines of code
instead of reducing the lines of code which was the goal but I'm
just demonstrating how you define functions now I'm going to demonstrate
how you can use functions to save...reduce...or sorry to reduce the lines of code in
the application. Okay so one of the things that you can do with functions is
you can pass in arguments to the function, so you can define various
arguments that you can provide when you call the function and then the function
can use those arguments in the source code. Alright so if we delete these two
here because they're pretty much the same, and we can also delete the calls to
them here as well and let's rename our function instead of greet mark which is
very specific and doesn't help with... it doesn't help with reducing duplication
let's just call the function greet customer. And then in between the
brackets here we're going to define a variable and we're going to call or it's
actually an argument, we're gonna define an argument for our function and we're
going to call the argument name. Okay so if we call the argument name and then we
hit save and now when we call our function....actually before we do that
we're going to change this print here and instead of printing mark which we've
hard-coded here we're going to update this to include our variable. So print
hello and we'll leave the string there before the end of the print the last
bracket in the print use the plus symbol and this will concatenate our name
variable with this string. So what this is now doing is its greeting a customer
and it's allowing us to provide the name of the customer and it will include that
name in the code that it prints out. Okay so below this let's write again
greet_customer and then we need to provide the name of the customer we want
to greet. So you define the variables when you call the function, you define the
variables in the same order that you put them in the greet customer arguments and
since we only have one we can just type it here. We'll just put the
name mark and then we'll copy and paste this and we'll call it Brooke...and we'll call
it Greg. Save that. Now load up the command prompt
and let's run our file again and now you can see it outputs the same again except
this time we have a lot a lot less lines of code than we had before.
Okay so let's say we wanted to update this function and we want to actually be
able to change the number of apples that we have in stock because if Mark comes
into the store then after he's left the store there may be less apples in there
when Brooke comes in. Okay so you can actually define multiple arguments for a
function here and you do that just by comma separating the list of argument
names in the function argument bracket. So let's just call a new argument called
num_apples just short for number of apples and then similar to what we did
here where we added the value of this to our string I'm going to delete this and
then add the quotes here so we now have two strings and do +. And we actually need to
convert this number type into a string so that we can add it to our
string because you can't just add numbers into strings using the plus
symbols so we'll just type STR and then num_apples
so what this STR does is it converts this whatever variable this is into the
string type so it basically converts our number into a string so instead of it
being the number six it will just be a string saying six. Okay so now we need to
add this argument to the call when we call our function so let's add... let's
start with seven and then let's say there's six
and then let's say when Greg comes in there's two left. Save that and then go
back to our command prompt, hit up and run. Now you can see that it actually
changes the number of apples that outputs based on the arguments that we provide.
Okay so there's one more thing I'm going to show you about these function
arguments and that's that you can actually set a default for the function
arguments. Okay so a default means you can provide a default value for this so
you don't even need to provide it here. So let's just say there's a default of
seven apples, we always start with seven. The first time you call it you can
actually remove that and you can run it again and you see it still says seven we
changed the default to ten. Save that and run it. Now you can see it says ten. Now
the only thing to remember about setting defaults is you can only set defaults on
the last or multiple last items in a function argument list. So another way of
putting it is you cannot have a non default function after you...or sorry a
none default argument after you defined an argument with a default. So we wouldn't
be able to provide name equals mark as a default and then put a non default
argument here. If you try that it will give you an error telling you a
non-default argument follows a default argument. So basically once you've
defined your first default argument you need to either move it to the end of the
list like this...
oops copy that you even need to move it to
the end of the list or you need to set a default for the items in front and then
you would need to reorder when you call the function reorder the...you would
need to put the number of apples first in this case because we've changed it
around. Okay so let's just move that back just so we have a finished working
version. And yeah you can set a default for any type of argument as long as
you don't put any non default ones
after the default. Okay so that's how you create functions in Python. Thank you so
much for watching. If you have any questions at all please leave them in
the comments below and I'll try and answer them or someone else might answer them
for you. So thank you very much for watching and I'll see you in the next
video.

So sorry, I didn't get to you last time with everything that's going on, but my dog got really sick.
Scooter, sh, quiet!
Yeah, it's really not a problem. Okay I'll talk to you later, bye.
Kate I did not see your comments on the file.
(loud siren in the background) OK, I'm sharing the file now.
Hey you're out of milk. (Huge car crash outside.)
OK, I've sent everything out. Kate, can you follow up tomorrow?
Kate???
Sorry sorry sorry sorry! (dog barking)
Yeah that sounded great! I love that idea!
Scooter, get off!
(dog yapping) Yeah, sounds great!

[PL/EN] War Thunder Guide: How To Download & Install Custom Camouflage - Duration: 5:16.
Hi, I'm Lil_Violent
In today's guide I will present you
how to add interesting skin, camouflage to War Thunder
and where it can be downloaded.
So we turn on the browser
and we write in Google "War Thunder Live"
We click on the first position
We are already on the right page
Now click a tab "camouflages"
The site chose only for us camouflages
without other things
Here we can write the name of the tank or aircraft
We will choose a tank and it will be ...
Tiger II
Click
and we have only camouflages for our Tiger II
We can look here
if we decide ...
click
We have pictures here
and a detailed description
We can download it
When we download it
All content will have to be unpacked
and then toss it into
the correct game folder
Moment ... ok we have it
The browser may close because it will no longer be needed
In my case this is in the "download" folder.
And we have it
We click the right mouse button
Here you will see better
We click the right mouse button
and we unpack
And we see where the folder came up
This is where all the content is
Now we have to
throw into the folder with the game.
So in my case is the D drive
The "Steam" folder because I have a Steam game
Steamapps
Common
War Thunder
This is our destination folder
Userskins
And to that folder we throw it
and now we can start the game
To change the options Tiger II in the game
In the game we are looking for a suitable tank ...
In our case this is Tiger II
When we find the "Customization" tab
And we see here two tabs on the right
We are looking for the tab below
because it's here
downloaded skins to our tank
Click
And we have the name of our skin
We see that our tank has changed camouflage
But such a small note, because unfortunately
This camouflage will be invisible to other players
This camouflage will only be visible to us
Unfortunately other players will see camouflage
as is available in the game.
In our case, they will see this
And that would be enough. I hope I helped you
If so, I encourage you to like,
subscribe to my channel
and see other productions
See you later! Bye! :)
