On this episode, we've traveled to the geologic and
Historic wonders that await visitors at
Writing-on-Stone Provincial Park in Alberta Canada.
For many visitors, the rock formations have their own mysterious tales,
But the heart and soul of these stones lies in
The petroglyphs and pictographs made by this land's first inhabitants.
These carvings remain a source of pride and culture
For First Nations, a place where families attend, to this day,
To explain to their children their deep, spiritual, connection with the land.
Telling the history of Canada's indigenous people, however, is not easy.
By learning the difficult chapters from the past, we inform how
The country must treat all people ahead into the future.
From Milk River, Alberta, the community nearest to the park,
We visited Lethbridge's Fort Whoop-Up to understand its
Grim heritage and its damaging affect on the First Nations.
Alright, welome back to another episode of Traveling with Krushworth.
And LilLizzy, where are we today?
Well, today we're at Writing-on-Stone Provincial Park.
We are enjoying the sacred landscape of the Blackfoot people.
This has been a place of high spiritual nature for them
For thousands of years.
There are amazing petroglyphs here.
And LilLizzy, we're off to see some of the rock carvings
Yes, yes we are.
It's going to be amazing, but we'll say bye for now
And we'll show you everything we're seeing.
Alright, see you later, bye.
We set off down the Hoodoo Trail, a
Pathway that snakes through some of Alberta's most unique sandstone cliffs.
Ensure you wear a hat and have enough water upon your visit.
One must walk the trail when coming to Writing-on-Stone Provincial Park.
Don't miss the Battle Scene, linked to the Retreat up the Hill Battle in 1866,
Carved in the late 19th century.
Our trip coincided with a terrible wildfire season.
The sunlight through the smoke cast an orange glow on the rocks.
It was a sad sight, knowing the heartache of others, but we won't forget it.
That evening, a guide transported us into the protected archeological preserve,
A section of the provincial park open only to tours.
The Rock Art walk is a memory we both cherish today.
Writing on Stone, meaning "It is Written" in Blackfoot, is sacred for
First Nations people and visitors have a window into these
Ancient lives with petroglyphs and pictographs.
To those first people, and many today, the region is home to ancestors' spirits.
People first came here 3,500 years ago as this mysterious
River valley offered camping spots and spiritualism.
Many ancient inhabitants saw these spirits as guides helping them learn their future.
Today's Blackfoot revere the landscape, but it remains a place to respect,
As it would have been for their forefathers.
Some of the carvings or pictographs may be three millennium old.
Many of them remain uninterpreted, a mystery unknown to us.
Yet, the one truth is there is an element of magic, carvings
From visions as well as real events affecting early nomads.
One tale focuses on the most modern petroglyphs,
Those of Ford Model T vehicles in the Milk River Valley.
Elder Bird Rattle, who described the Retreat up the Hill Battle upon
revisiting the park in 1924, shared a deep connection with the stones
By carving the vehicle that carried him.
We moved on from the spiritual Milk River valley to Lethbridge
And the recreated Fort Whoop-up in that city's Indian Battle Park,
Which was an important camping spot for First Nations.
The illicit whiskey and buffalo robe trading place,
Possibly named for one trader "whooping it up across the border," was built in 1870
After the first fort was burned by Blackfoot people.
Economic success led to immense interest from American whiskey traders.
Vast sums of money had been made by the original proprietors Healy and Hamilton.
With the United States government laying out strict rules prohibiting the trade of alcohol
With First Nations groups, whiskey traders seeking riches at any cost poured over the border
Americans traded guns, liquor and often diseased blankets for sought after buffalo robes
Decimating the first people.
One winter claimed 70 Blackfoot lives from drunkenness.
A quart of the vile whiskey, often cut with ginger and tobacco juice, could be traded
for a horse.
Two firms, the IG Baker Co and TC Power and Bro heavily backed the damaging trade.
One wagon train is said to have had 20,000 buffalo skins
Heading back to Fort Benton, Montana.
A vast empire built on buffalo robes and mass hunting
Led to the extermination of the buffalo, an animal First Nations people
Had based their lives around for centuries.
Citing the violence against the Blackfoot, and other First Nations as well as among economic concerns,
Canada formed the Northwest Mounted Police
In 1873 under Colonel James Macleod.
American invasion of the future Canadian country remained a viable threat.
The North West Mounted Police started their famed march,
Arriving in fall 1874.
The fort had been emptied, the traders had fled.
The manager, the sole occupant, offered the police dinner.
Early police in the North West Territories, which would become
The country's famed Royal Canadian Mounted Police,
Went onto bring order, and the expansion of the Canadian west.

Get Fortnite VBucks by just playing the game - PVE VBucks Farming Guide - Duration: 6:24.
your groups welcome back to the latina army and latina and today I'm gonna look
at just a quick video at farming V books on how to get V books now this is mostly
for Fortnite PvE for the fortnight save the world edition of the game and all
lots of people have got just the battle rail but if you look up here I've got
3,600 V books and I want to show you guys rather than pay for the V books so
a thousand B books he's seven pounds 99 I don't know I've got a lot of American
viewers and viewers in Europe who use euros and dollars but in fair terms and
purposes seven pounds 99 for 1000 V books now what you can do and the best
way to level off our thing is to if you've got the PvE game you shouldn't
ever have to buy these because these are in game currency stands for vendor tech
books I believe but you can use the you can use them in PvE you know in this get
version of the game and you can buy different bits of loot with the V books
or you can use them in the actual game in the battle royale game and you can
use them to spend on that waste totally down to you how you want to do that so
the best way to do the first one to do the first way to get these V box is your
daily quests so let me just close these up a little bit here so you guys can all
see so if you got to do the quests often each day you'll get three daily quests
in there and they'll give you fifty bucks each so if you look at that's a
150 V books each day they're really quick but if you look at this one
complete three play with all those missions and then I'll get another 50 of
e-books to put on top of that so these three missions in there usually and
they'll give you fifty bucks each also the other sections are looking is
challenges you know challenges often off the V books as well so this one lock so
these two are that haven't got them but this one 50 V books in there what the
challenge is often as well it's not only it's not uncommon for this to be another
three in there I think I've done two today already which is why these have
come back up but when you start a day off you'll have another 150 as with the
V box in there which you can do as well so you can probably do all the daily
quests and all the challenges in just about just over an hour I would say and
it probably won't even take you that for some people okay the other place you can
sometimes get them is in the main quest they're not always in there like man at
the minute is too many Larmour rewards but every now and again in the major
story quest you usually get about 100 V books in there but they're not there
every day they're not there all the time and you also can get a storm shield v
books as well every time you defend your storm shield
you know you tend to get a hundred V books from that and also if you use the
collectors book so if you go in to the armory and you go to the collectors book
some of the things up here these are the rewards that you can get but the rewards
appear often you know what you'll find on there is the rewards are often come
up as the books as well the most I've ever got from those from the collectors
book is 500 V books but that changes all the time and then also another place to
get them from V books is the dealer rewards if you go up here and if you
look there if you just logging in each day so when I get today 28 I've got 300
V books they're my next reward that I'm gonna get is 150 of e-books so there's
always things that you can get in there as well so it just keeps going now V
books in PvE are slightly different from the Battle Royale so for tonight about
all rial you would buy skins you would buy you know cosmetic kind of items in
for tonight in PvE so in for tonight save the world you buy these loot liners
if you'll just show you one in here look so if I just claimed one there there you
go so what we do we hit the llama and then what we do we get a lot of this
stuff in here and it just opens it all up I mean you can fast-forward it you
just hold down the bottom here we go so you've got a ton of stuff in there and
then these are things what you can use in game so we've got a rare hero which
is pretty cool rest survival which is great I was telling you guys if you've
watched my other video which was about the leveling up in fort now survivors
are absolutely extremely important for the game so which is pretty awesome so
you know and you can clone them you can buy them with V books that was one using
the fort nightmares candy but if we use this one let's just do one more while
we're here so we just hit that open I'll fast forward this a lot of people do
these alarma openings and a falling out Lima opening oh we've got some sort of
epic item here oh we can have a scythe or an app let's get a scythe I don't
think I've got any sides yet awesome so we've got our copper sized schematic
which means I can make my own sides now which is fantastic I've got a lot of the
already got 350 candy in that one which is great cuz that means we can
claim another llama let's do it why not
so we open this up and then we'll just fast forward that I always fast forward
in case Joe until we get any epics or survivor XP massively important there we
go and that's that done so if you are not this sort then so just having a
quick look at this you know you can get if you do all your dailies which is 150
and the three challenges that's 300 if you do a storm shield defense and then
two major story quests you know that's six hundred now that means that in two
days potentially you could get so let's just say on average you get between 400
and 600 three books a day following these methods that I've just shown you
one here so if you do that over two days then you're gonna get between 800 and
1,200 V books every day which if your law is about 799 s if you want that or
say over a week you know you're looking well over 20 power well over the 20
pounds mark and what you're gonna be saving you're almost going to be making
I mean you can't sell these things on but you know if value for money wise if
you look rather than spend of ebooks if you've got the PvE version you can farm
them it's super easy so what I would say I'll just quickly recap them so you want
to be doing the daily quests all of those it should be three of challenges
you're gonna get three of those a day as well I would do one storm shield defense
and two main store requests you know if you can get them an out even one main
story quests should probably be enough and you'll be earning anywhere between
as I said 4 to 600 V books every single day so that's the best way to do it guys
and then you can get all your cosmetics and you can you know go into battle
royale if you want you know if that's your thing or you can get more llamas
and upgrade yeah you're survivors or do it get some legendary heroes and things
like that it's totally down to you because if
you've got another way of making more money in there you know them please let
me know in the comments down below and if you're not part of the Montana army
already and you want to see more Fortnight guides make sure that you
subscribe and I will catch you guys on the next video thanks for watching guys

UE Kronos Sequencer Pack - Installation Guide - 24K Magic & Thriller - Duration: 4:38.
hi guys
Once you download the files you have to copy them to a USB thumb drive
and then plug it into Kronos.
Then select your thumb drive
and copy the folder to your internal drive using the utility and copy
just select your internal disk and paste
when it's finished just go back to your internal drive and open the containing folder.
and I will delete this bonus folder because it's not necessary right now.
Then first you have to load the programs
when you open the PCG file
you'll see there are two different types of banks
as you know one type is the EXi program
and the other one is HD-1
so if your bank's U-CC and U-DD are already empty
you can load them directly
or if you want to load them to a different location
you have to open them and select them individually like this
(Check manual)
say Load
pick your place
I want them to be loaded into User-CC Bank
say ok. when it's finished go up
and do the same thing to the other bank
in fact I'll load them directly to User-DD so I say okay
after you load your programs
just go to 24k folder and load the sequencer file
and then go to the sequencer mode
you see it says samples not loaded
there are two things you can do right now
if you select Load Required Samples
it finds them automatically for you
but you have to do that each time you restart your machine
and if you want them to be loaded automatically
just go to global mode
and in KSC Auto-load tab, Add KSC
and find the 24k UserBank.KSC
and I'll do the same thing to Thriller
I go up and find this file and add it
and when you go back to sequencer mode
still it says
samples not loaded because we didn't do the auto-load
or we didn't restart the Kronos
so right now I'll just go and select Load Required Samples
and say load
now it works
and if you go back to Thriller folder
you'll see that there are two options
if you have the first-generation Kronos or the Kronos X
you have to select this folder
and if you have the new Kronos
you have to use this folder
I'll use this one because I have Kronos X
and I'll load the file
and still it says samples not loaded
because I didn't do the auto load
or I didn't restart the Kronos
so I'll just go and
select load required samples
now it works too.
For Thriller I also added an easier mode it says auto
and there's also the manual mode
the only difference between them is
in auto mode you don't have to deal with
karma scene changes or switches
so you can just focus on playing the keys
the sequencer does that for you
and one thing you have to do
before playing these sequencer files
you have to go to global mode
and select the Controllers/Scales tab
and in order to use the foot pedal
you have to assign it to Foot Pedal CC04
and if you want to play the chord pads
with your MIDI keyboard
you have to assign the lowest white keys of your midi keyboard
to Chord Pads here
and your MIDI keyboard's MIDI channel should be 1 for 24k
and 16 for Thriller.
And also you should find the lowest key on your MIDI keyboard
using the octave buttons (only for 24K)
and now we are ready to play
if you have any questions feel free to ask
and if you have any suggestions leave a comment
and don't forget to subscribe and follow
have fun!

Shanti People Family Nyew Year Party - Video Guide (eng sub) - Duration: 1:37.
Now we are in downtown Kyiv,
not so far from the Attic Space.
We are waiting for Vanya
to continue our video-guide.
So, this is the door that leads to the Attic Space.
The Attic Space is on the top floor
and to get in we need to push this button.
Oh, here is Vanya!
Yes, here am I!
What an amazing place!
This building was built
in the earlier part of the last century.
This interior inspired us
to throw a thematic New Year Eve's party
in the 1930's style.
Exactly in that time people from all over the world
had gotten to know Vedic culture.
Women had begun to wear turbans
and use the peacock feathers...
In that time the concept of freedom had become
popular in every sphere of art.
On New Year's Eve we will bring
back to life all the best from that period of time
in a friendly family atmosphere.
We're going to combine all the best of both
Western and Oriental cultures
to make this celebration special.
The earlier part of the last century is famous
not only for the technological progress
but for the progress of art too.
There were Silver Age poets,
modern fine art...
And new dance styles which were
quite strange for that time!
And all of that will be
brought back to life on our party!

Color Mixing Guide--Make It Yourself (Mis Vid) - Duration: 6:05.
The purpose of this video is to show you how to make reference cards with the colors that you use. Each color is
Obviously different, but colors can vary even from brand to brand so in order to be able to predict
What colors you'll get when you paint it's best to have a reference
There are books that will break this all down for you
but they may or may not be using
your brand of colors. This video breaks down how to make a color swatch with two colors and
All the colors you can find in between those colors and also some lighter versions of those same colors
This is so helpful to have as a reference
Everybody's got an opinion about how to mix your colors,
but you know what? You just gotta do it yourself.
I did it myself and I'll show ya how I did it myself and you can do it yourself.
This is gonna be a fun tutorial, I can already tell.
Here is burnt umber burnt sienna and
Titanium white I'm going to make this reference using my pallet knife instead of
a paintbrush this saves time because a pallet knife is much
easier to clean. See that reference we're gonna make?
You can have one for every combo of your paints, yours!
Do you see how awesome it's gonna be?
All I have to do is get a paper towel and pinch around the pallet knife and pull the paint off because of the thickness
of the sides of the pallet knife
I also have to wipe down the edges
Otherwise when I use the pallet knife to take a new color, the new color will become contaminated
With the paint on the edge of the pallet knives
Is it really, necessary to exercise that degree of perfectionism
I suppose not
Starting with burnt umber the pure color comes out of the tube
And I'm mixing white to see what sort of hue it is when the value is lighter
Whoah!! Did she just say what hue is?
If you add white it's the same hue because hue means color.
It's the same color. It's just lighter that means
It's a different value. I can thank me for your art education with tuition I mean
A comment below.
There's what mixing looks like.
Here we can see a range of values and what they look like from burnt umber. It's a short range
I do the same thing on the opposite side of the card with burnt sienna next I want to mix a color
That is halfway between burnt sienna and burnt umber on the first pass I take an equal part burnt umber and burnt sienna
And mix them together, but the result looks more like burnt umber than burnt sienna
This color is too burnt umber!
The result is not in the middle which is typical. When I'm looking for the middle
I want something that looks to the visual eye like it's the middle not necessarily
what I get from mixing equal parts. Darn!
Now that I've added some burnt sienna. It looks too close to the burnt sienna and not close enough to the burnt umber
Ugh! This color is too burnt sienna!
Adding just a smidgen more of burnt umber
I'm getting a color that I feel is not looking so close to either of its parent colors and
Visually seems to be in the middle
(Gasp) This color is just right!
So here's the updated
reference card with burnt number on the right burnt sienna on the left and our middle color in the middle you can see in the
Top section that I scrape little lines the reason I did this is because these colors are fairly
Transparent when they're applied thinly we can see through them. I want to be able to see what color
I'm gonna get if I apply the paint
Thinly and also what it would look like if I'm applying it thickly
I don't make the same
Marks in these lower colors because they have so much white in them that they are not transparent light is opaque
If I tried out for Goldilocks, do you think I'd get the part?
As you can see trying to find the color between burnt umber and the middle is very difficult
It gets a little tedious making these color swatches, but you learn so much
And, you gonna save paint in the long run,
And you can use it as a reference and save frustration and it's worth it!
Looking at this swatch of color it seems too dark to be compared to this one
But it kind of looks like it matches with this one
This is where it gets tricky because ideally I want them to all be about the same lightness or darkness
I did end up lightening this one a little
But I didn't want to go too light because this one's pretty dark and these seem to match too. In retrospect it probably
Would have been the best thing to actually darken this one a little bit, but I didn't do that. It's okay
The more you do these types of swatches the better you get at it
Practice makes perfect!
I gotta practice my hairdoing skills a little bit!
But this serves my purpose. Here, I've labeled my new swatch and hung it up with the others
I've written down the names of the colors. I used there I made note of how transparent or opaque
It was as well as the code for the color
PBr7 I was really baffled by this
PBr7 because each color is supposed to have an
Individual number based on what it's made out of and I was confused that these two different colors had the same code on it
So I googled it looking for a reason why and I found out that they're actually made out of the same
Material the different colors come from the amount of heat applied to the original pigment
Mystery solved, thank you, Google.
So here is my new color swatch added to my wall
(applause)
Click to subscribe and comment below, I promise to respond like a normal person.

so how do we make a relationship work what kind of a crazy question is this
this is our Daily Awesome podcast and Men this is a podcast about men's
development men's excellence where we talk about all sorts of crazy stuff like
this so anything with dating sex perspective mentality you know how to
get yourself right that's what this podcast is about and if you like it
click the Free Stuff Link down below check out what we got we have almost 800
videos that all deal with this and not only that we have just tons of free
programs so it's super great like fitness stuff there's dating stuff
there's pdfs there's video series there's groups there's the Asda men's
development group and there's immense development excellence group that's AMD
plus we got you covered and this is all recorded live on a call
it is the 8th of November 2017 and we are on a men's development excellence
call in fact I'll stand corrected we're on at TSL online call and the men's
development excellence calls a little bit later so if you want to get involved
in those you got to sign up for TSL Online or md excellence and if you're a guy
that wasn't better yourself I'd recommend it so let's get into the meat
of all this now that we're done with that and let's dive into it because this
is a huge question and it's coming from so many different perspectives what's
very important is that we have a dialogue about this so the guy that
asked this question is he's fairly young he's 24 or 25 I forget the exact age but
got a lot going in his life has great dating skills is able to meet women and
be sexual and so on and so in that context it's a certain type of question
but let's say you're 30 and you're asking that question let's say you're 40
let's say your dating skills aren't great and you're 28 so there's all sorts
of different variables that come in it and one of the things I ask people to
start with is a definition now rule number one is your definitions about
what you want in your life are bullshit they're most likely not going to happen
but the reason why we need to look at them is for a couple of reasons number
one self responsibility all right so we're looking at ourselves to guide us
we're accepting our problems our wants our desires and our directions to move
into very very big I mean this is this is
paramount in at all however we see this so much in the dating world so if
anybody's on an online dating app you see well I don't want to you know just
be used I don't want to have this and that I got out of a relationship here's
what I wanted a relationship here's the type of guy I'm looking for here's the
type of girl I'm looking for there's this endless checklist of different
things that we think we want and the fact of the matter is is what we end up
dating that the relationships that we end up having are never that and I could
say this for myself because my amazing wife you know I wanted I know what I
want I knew exactly what I wanted I knew all of that stuff but guess what it
never amounted into the picture of exactly what she is it was very
different than what she is now that doesn't mean I'm unhappy that doesn't
mean anything it just means that when we don't have a relationship it's very hard
to have a definition so we create a definition so that we can one have
personal responsibility of our desires our wants and so on and when we
encounter problems we solve them ourselves but also it's a starting place
for us to know the direction to go in so very very important is to go like hey
what do you want so my man you know who's very good with women and he's
about 24 years old you know he's looking at like man I don't know what I want but
I know I have this urge and this feeling towards it so here's the other
interesting and amazing thing about it so when it comes down to dating
relationships sex all these different things as soon as we start to have our
emotions involved in somebody as soon as we have our sex involved with somebody
as soon as that desire builds guess what happens we stop having a choice we stop
having this this idea of controlling things we just want to experience so our
hearts open up is an open field our minds open up is an open field
our sex opens up as an open field and it just says go go go it's easy to fall in
love it's easy to to feel good about something and if you're not having those
experiences for instance if you're dating a lot and you haven't really
hooked a girl or fallen into a relationship or have these
have them have these experiences that a lot of these people talk about well
there's two things that you're having trouble with and that's not exactly what
this podcast is about but I'll include a playlist where you could learn about
those things and that would be a modem so your connection isn't strong with
your emotions and sharing in exchange having that empathy or your seduction
your seduction is not connecting okay and if you have those two things in over
in order you're going to naturally connect with people all right into a
point where you hit that open field you know love and sex become this natural
phenomenon so let's talk about this natural phenomenon and then we'll get to
the overall answer of you know what do we do when we really want a relationship
to happen you know how do we make a relationship work so the thing is is
that when we have these feelings and we need to we need to talk about this as
men this is huge guys you need to realize this is going to happen when
your heart opens up when your sex opens up with a woman you feel the feelings of
monogamy monogamy is a phenomenon right so monogamy is a social definition for
how we have relationships and there's all these arguments of is this good or
is this bad and so on and I've been in monogamous relationship for a while now
but the thing is is yeah it's also unnatural and whatever but here's what's
natural about it let's take away all the social definitions and all the kudos
should of what does if you were sexually active of somebody if you're having an
emotional exchange with somebody there's going to be a point where she wants full
commitment from you she feels that it's not even making a commitment there's no
definition yet there's just this overwhelming feeling that a woman is
gonna have when that happens that's like oh my god I need this man this man needs
to be here that wears my security of this I want this I just I'd get so
jealous if somebody else was around this is feeling that saying that and there's
this feeling that comes across with a man that could have some of those
characteristics involved in it but also this feeling of a man saying man I want
to do everything for this woman like I am good I like I would have her for the
rest of my life I I want this this is beautiful I'm gonna do everything for
let's go on a trip let's do blah blah blah blah blah all this stuff that you
know what we hear in a lot of the man culture which is like you know where
we see all these men looking searching for definitions of themselves not
because we don't have that but this is one of those things where from the hurt
man culture they go that's weakness that's how you get hurt and so on it's a
natural feeling all right it's a natural feeling and you got to acknowledge that
first if you deny it it's gonna be imprisoned and fight fight fight to get
out so you're gonna have a feeling of what we'll call socially monogamy but
remember it's a feeling first the woman has her feelings of like I want this guy
can't be with anybody else and then there's this dude with his feelings
going like I want this girl she can't be with any anybody else they have
different characteristics and flavors of one another then through life and
cultures and so on and you know different types and styles of
relationships you know we then call that monogamy so you're gonna feel that and
it's gonna be awesome so when you feel that and you want to to continue on with
it you then make a commitment now here's what's gonna make your relationship work
is your alignment to that commitment here's the thing guys you're gonna feel
that commitment you're gonna have the desire to make it you're gonna overcome
it you're gonna commit to shit which you
don't know about because one you may not be familiar with the phenomenon of love
and your experience with that but more importantly you don't really know her
you know her on the 4-month her the 2-month her the few good weeks of good
sex her those types of things and she knows you in that way so you guys don't
fully know each other yet but you make a commitment now you can be wrong about
that commitment you just have to learn to communicate out of it but in that
commitment and I don't mean this in some old-fashioned way that commitment is an
attempt to fulfill that feeling that you wanted remember that feeling that that
turns into that definition of monogamy if I want to give myself to her I want
to do everything for her well guess what you know you stop having sex fuel your
relationship you stop having the novelty of new experiences fuel your
relationship you stop having or you start having arguments you start having
things which piss you off about her you know she doesn't you know do certain
things that maybe another girl should or would
whatever and you start losing that momentum right and it starts getting a
little bit boring and guess what you're probably getting a
little bit boring to her or unknowing to her but where does that commitment stand
when you made that commitment in that choice just as a personal thing again
don't think of this as like this old-fashioned like get in line with your
commitments in it and it can translate to that but I want you to think of it in
this way that commitment is going hey I had a value and I had a feeling that I
felt that was real and it made me decide this and remember that checklist of that
personal definition of what we wanted what was the main reason the main reason
was personal responsibility so ownership of self knowing that you made a
definition of what you wanted to go for and as I said for me man I fucking know
what I want but what did I get something totally different that I was absolutely
happy with all right but in all of that my commitment the same thing it's just
as blind is that want but my commitment may want to continue is that part of
myself that wanted to dedicate my life to her or so on and these types of
things right which now is you know conflicted with these annoying things
these other problems these things in a relationship that we have that that you
know fuck us up and so on and and whatever you know is that still there
and that's a hard thing to determine that's why you need a men's group man
that's why you need to bounce stuff off other guys who know you and can can hold
you to account ability not accountability like did you get your
goal done but the accountability of actually going like hey man I know what
you're capable of I know your potential and are you living up to it so in that
man like can we find the commitment to that you know can we find the the
accountability of ourselves and the man that shows like hey I want to dedicate
the cell myself to this because I believe in me and I believe in love and
I believe I wanted to do this but perhaps it's that I wanted to see if I
could do this in my life perhaps I wanted to see if I was capable of this
type of relationship perhaps I was capable of deciding whether or not you
know man this girl could live up to whatever and that is far more important
than your annoyance if let's put it this way if you ever so many people break up
with women for stupid reasons for or women break up with men either way
oh man I didn't like him oh we had this fight oh we had this dramatic thing oh
he's an asshole oh the sex was bad oh the blah blah blah and we go through
this checklist which probably wasn't true and we're not being real with
ourselves anytime I hear somebody complaining to me about a breakup and
they're like they want to blame the other person in any sort of way you're
lying to yourself you're taking your responsibility out of it that's not the
real reason why you broke up that's not the total picture that's the one thing
that you could flag that makes you look good or whatever it is but the thing is
is that I hate this we need to break up with somebody because we make a choice
that this wasn't the right person all right and so that's why we need to
cultivate this to make a relationship work you need to get in touch with the
commitment that you had when you felt the feeling of monogamy when you felt
the feeling of you wanted to dedicate your life to somebody because I'll tell
you this man five six years down the road where I'm at I don't have that
feeling anymore I don't have that feeling don't like oh my gosh
Maria is is this woman that I just want to do everything for but the commitment
that I made in it has elements of that so take out the novelty trick take out
the crazy like sex six times a day which would like to do them fuck the fucking
crazy man I'm pretty sexual person but this was beyond beyond man that's that's
that's one thing that really solidified the beginnings of that relationship but
take all of that out of it take all of the highlights take all of the things of
going that oh my god this is so amazing and what do we have it's so much more
it's actually so much more but if I just cave to the annoyance the little fights
the times when we do have misinterpretations or bad sex or things
that don't communicate with each other or the times where we crossed each other
in whatever ways if we if we did not align with our commitment
of who we you are in the person that we believed we could be in the road that we
wanted to walk down on if we didn't align with that and then keep that in
check yeah we deject in the fact of the matter is is what I want from all people
whether you're learning to talk to people where you're going into a
business interview you're learning to talk to women for the first time or
you're actually you know having relationships
I want you making a choice I don't want you making a reaction all right because
the reaction doesn't accept responsibility of self and it causes
conflict and disconnect where it doesn't need to be we're so afraid of being
judged that we don't show our real selves and you know then we just react
towards one another so we need to fuel our relationships by choice and we can
decide this isn't working out for us so just know guys we're gonna have this
feelings overwhelming feeling to commit to somebody we're gonna want that that's
gonna run out you know that's gonna change it's not a question of this
monogamy or polyamory or swinging or whatever the fuck it is or you know
going you know signing off women forever or whatever is the the answer it's more
that there's different phases in your life that you're gonna feel you need to
learn to articulate them that being said you know if we feel that it's not the
right thing we also need to learn to break up properly cuz that's tough too
you know that's a lot of pain sometimes you don't want to feel that sometimes we
need to react and masks our masks ourselves and be a total asshole to make
that happen we don't want to have relationships and breakups like that we
want ones where we're fluid in ourselves and it's a very confusing thing why you
need a men's group in any case this is what we're talking about tonight on a
