Grand Turk is a little island with a lot to offer.

In addition to some of the best diving in the world, there is also the Grand Turk Cruise

Center area for those who prefer spending the day shopping, swimming at a pool, or sunbathing

on a white sandy beach.

The cruise terminal -- which caters to Carnival Corporation cruise lines like Carnival, Princess,

Holland America, and P&O -- has a pier that can accommodate two ships at the same time.

No tender is required.

The beach, shopping, restaurants, and a pool are just steps away.

Be sure to remember that Clam Shells, Beach Chairs, and Sun Umbrellas inside the Grand

Turk Cruise Center are complimentary for cruise passenger use.

Even the ones closest to the water!

Signs are posted, but there will still be plenty of locals trying to scam money from

unsuspecting tourists.

We simply tell them, "No, thanks.

Everything is free," and they leave us alone, realizing we know about their scam.

When exiting the ship, most passengers tend to head towards the white sandy beaches on

the left side -- or north side -- of the Grand Turk pier and there is good reason.

There are plenty of chairs, clam shells, and umbrellas available; the beach and water are

beautiful; you get to swim close to the ships; and the snorkeling is great because Carnival

has submerged cannons, anchors and other items in that area to attract fish.

Also on the left side of the Grand Turk pier is Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville restaurant

area which has a complimentary pool with complimentary lounge chairs.

A Flowrider surfing attraction is available near the pool and cost around $30 an hour

on our last visit.

Riders must be at least 52 inches.

The Flowrider attraction may be purchased as a shore excursion through the cruise line.

Additionally, a limited number are sometimes available

at the Flowrider shop near the swimming pool.

Although there are many things to enjoy on the left side of the pier, we usually go to

the right side -- or south side -- of the Grand Turk pier, which also has a lot to offer and

tends to be not as popular.

We love this location because we have a better chance of finding a clam shell, even if we're

not the first people off the ship.

Even though the area is more rocky than the beach area to the north, we've had great

luck spotting many fish and sea urchins while snorkeling in this area.

There is also a restaurant and bathrooms close by.

If you're planning to spend your day at Grand Turk by the water -- or in it -- remember

to bring a beach towel from the ship and return it to the ship at the end of the day.

Towels are not provided on the island.

We also recommend you bring your own snorkeling equipment and buckets for building sand castles.

In the center of the cruise terminal itself you'll find several shops to explore.

Like other ports, many offer freebies and raffles.

Details are available in the port shopping guides that are handed out on the ship.

Outside of the Cruise Terminal boundaries there are several excursion options as well

as two areas that can be explored by foot.

The most popular area is north of the Cruise Center, along the beach.

There are a couple of bars in that direction that are very popular with tourists and crew,

the most popular of which seems to be Jack's Shack Beach Bar and Grill.

The bar is about a ten-minute walk from the exit of the Cruise Center and you can visit

their website to get a free shot of rum.

If you head south – past the warning signs that you're about the leave the cruise terminal

area – you'll come to what some call the Conch Shell graveyard, which is popular with

beachcombers.

Though some cruisers are successful bringing conch shells back on the ship to take home,

most are often confiscated at the ship's security checkpoint when you return from port.

Finally, a great resource for learning more about the island and the cruise terminal is

the Grand Turk Cruise Center website – which includes Maps of the island, a listing of

taxi fares to explore the island, excursion descriptions, and a calendar showing the ships

scheduled to be in port on a specific day.

Online booking | How to Guide | Chichester Festival Theatre - Duration: 9:00.

Hello and welcome to the online booking video guide for Chichester Festival Theatre.

In this video we will show you step by step how to book tickets for shows and

events on our website. Let's get started. First of all, we recommend that you log in

before you start booking, just to ensure that you can access any discounts

and priority booking you're entitled to. Click here to login then you'll be

brought this screen where you'll need to enter your username and password.

Once you've entered your details you'll be returned to the home page or the page

you were on prior to logging in. Now you're ready to start purchasing your tickets.

Start by clicking on WHAT'S ON which will give you the details and full list

of shows and events in the season. When you hover over a picture like so, you're

given the option of both MORE INFO and TICKETS as you can see. TICKETS takes you

directly to a list of performances to buy your tickets. MORE INFO will take you

to the production page which looks like this. It has more information which will

be updated through the season with photography, videos and details of the

cast and creatives. Here you can click on TICKETS to select your desired date of

performance. In some cases, if tickets have just gone on sale you may be

greeted with a queuing page which looks like this. If you have items in your

basket that were already available prior to the new season going on sale, you will

be asked to buy these items or empty your basket before joining the queue.

This page will reload every 10 seconds and your number will decrease as you

move towards the front of the queue. When out of the queue you can buy your

tickets for all events and productions in one transaction without having to

re-join the queue. You are given two different options when selecting your

seat: FROM THE SEATING PLAN and BEST AVAILABLE SEAT. By default on a desktop

or a laptop you will see FROM THE SEATING PLAN. On mobile devices and

tablets you may be taken to the option to select BEST AVAILABLE SEATS. First we

will show you how to select your seats using the seating plan. The details of

the selected performance, including the date and venue, are shown here. The

Festival Theatre is split into two sections; the Front and Side Stalls and

the Rear Stalls and Balcony. Select which area of the auditorium you would like to

sit in by clicking on the relevant area. The Minerva Theatre is not split into

sections so you'll be taken straight to the seating plan. Select the seats you

wish to buy by clicking on the coloured seat dots. When you hover your mouse over

a seat, a small pop-up appears detailing the seat number price and any

restrictions that may apply to that particular seat. Once you have selected a

seat, a small ticket icon appears over the seat dots like so. If you scroll down

the page you can see the full list of price bands

and prices available. This does not include Friends discounts or other offers,

these are applied to full price tickets at the checkout. Once you are happy with

your seat selection, click CONTINUE. Let's take a look at selecting seats from

BEST AVAILABLE VIEW. This method of choosing seats picks the best seats available for

you based on the number of tickets you require and the price band you select.

All you need to do is enter the number of seats you require in the quantity box

here, then untick any seating areas and/or price bands you don't want to be

searched. Once you've done this click CONTINUE. Once you have chosen your seats

and clicked continue this screen will appear. It will list all of the seats

that you have selected. If you wish to choose a different ticket type click on

the drop down arrows and a list of options will appear if available. If you

have seats which you have selected in error, tick the adjacent box to delete

and they will disappear. When you get to the next screen please note that any

Friends, Family or Saver offers and discounts are applied at the checkout.

Friends must select Full Price in order for the Season Saver and/or Single Show

Discount to be applied at the checkout. If you're purchasing a Family Ticket

please select Full Price for adults and Under 16s for children under 16.

The Family Discount will then be applied at the checkout. When you are happy with

your seat selection for this show click CONTINUE. This screen may appear if there

are any additional items connected to your chosen performance that you may

wish to purchase, such as a programme. If you would like to buy a programme type the

desired amount into the box and select ADD TO BASKET. If you do not wish to

purchase any suggested extras simply click CONTINUE TO BASKET. If you have

added tickets to your basket that are eligible for a multi-buy discount such

as a Friend's Season Saver you may see this screen.

By clicking on MORE INFORMATION you'll be taken to the relevant production page to select a

performance date and tickets. If you do not wish to add any more tickets click

CONTINUE TO BASKET. On the basket page you will see all the details of your

booking. If you are logged in any offers or discounts will be applied. If you are not

logged in you will be prompted to do so once you click CHECKOUT, offers and

discounts will then be applied at the next stage. To see more about your seats

for each event click VIEW DETAILS. You can also click EDIT to choose new seats

or amend the price band for each show, or you can DELETE to start again. If you

would like to add more tickets or different events to your basket

added all the events you wish to book for to your basket click CHECKOUT. If you

have not yet logged in you'll be presented with the login screen as shown

earlier at this stage. This next screen gives you the option to add a donation

to Chichester Festival Theatre. We don't charge a booking fee, however as a

registered charity we appreciate any donation to help us continue the work we do.

Choose to CONTINUE WITH DONATION or CONTINUE WITHOUT DONATION and proceed to

the next page. Next confirm the delivery type for your tickets. You can choose to

print your own, collect from Box Office or post. Once you've selected the

delivery type you'd like click CONTINUE. On this next screen you need to select

how you wish to pay. If you're paying with a gift voucher, account credit or a

card not already registered please select NEW CARD. Your card will not be

charged yet as no details are entered until the payment stage. Next check your

The Style Guide - Men part I. - Duration: 4:01.

Hello everyone! This is Club Mareni.

For many people dressing is a rutin of everydays life,

take the first thing from the wardrobe that best suits for the season.

They don't complicate things

thinking that the pieces get well along

because they already have clothes in their closet with color and model based.

without having any surprises.

On the other hand,

there are those who love dressing up

and take this situation very seriously.

For them it is unthinkable not to have any conception

behind each piece,

and if we ask the question:

why do you wear that garment,

they would give us a long explanation about

every detail that goes far beyond the simple seasonality.

The new generation refuses to dress like their ancestors

and for this reason you can see different styles on the streets.

But in this visual chaos,

style groups have been created with their typical characters

and they are similar in every part of the world.

In this video we will talk about these groups

and we will see the characters that best describe each group.

The nature of man is to belong to a group

probably these groups were created coming from this human character.

Write to me in the comments to which group you belong to.

I am very curious

Our first group is The Classics.

They do not care at all what the current trend is.

Traditions give a strong base for their dressing

They prefer reliable and durable fabrics

that do not create problems during the years.

Sartorially they prefer the classic and rigorous lines.

As for the accessories they put in place number one the quality,

they love the Bespoke products.

As dresses and shirts they choose classic colors,

but as ties they can have really interesting choices.

in the positive way of the word.

Modern classics

They are more open to innovation

some new lines and models are found in their wardrobe

but not exceeding the boundaries of clean lines.

They like to wear patterns with classic pieces.

Their everyday dressing is dynamic,

and they like to be up to date in accessories

Quality and bespoke are important also for them,

they wear many pieces of Italian tailoring.

Dandy

I spoke about this group in the previous video ,

and now we are here.

The Dandy's passion is dressing up.

They are looking for unique and characteristic pieces.

If any of you have been already in Florence at Pitti Uomo,

you know what I'm talking about.

This is the place where masters of the dandy style meet twice a year,

presenting new trends, colors and models.

This is a real paradise for those who love men's tailoring and bespoke

For a real Dandy dressing is fun where he can dare new combinations of fabrics.

Lincoln Memorial Visitors Guide | Washington DC - Duration: 3:27.

No trip to Washington DC is complete without visiting the Lincoln Memorial,

one of our nation's most treasured landmarks. So how do you get there?

And why all the fuss? I'm glad you asked! Found at the west end of the National

Mall, the memorial is open 24 hours a day 365 days a year. Walk, take Capital

Bikeshare or the Circulator bus to get there.

If you're on DC Metro, take the Blue, Orange or Silver line to the Foggy

Bottom stop at 23rd and I Street Northwest. The memorial is just over a

half mile walk south down 23rd Street. If you're traveling by car, free parking

spots are found along Ohio Drive bordering the Potomac River. Be aware

however that parking is often at a premium and space is not guaranteed.

You've arrived. Now how to get in? From the plaza, a grand staircase leads into

the temple. If steps are a difficulty - as you face the memorial, to your left is a

walkway leading into a small museum space. Here you can find restrooms and

elevator access. The memorial itself is dedicated to the memory of Abraham

Lincoln. As chief executive, Lincoln abolished slavery and shepherded the

nation through Civil War. The memorial is rich in history and symbolism.

Constructed under the direction of architect Henry Bacon, it is made to

resemble a Greek temple; which we associate with the traditions of

Athenian democracy and yogurt manufacturing. Around the perimeter are

36 pillars, one for each state in the Union during the Civil War. Directly

above the pillars are two rows of state names: the 36 Civil War era States and

the 48 which existed when the memorial was dedicated in 1922. If you're from

Alaska or Hawaii, don't worry: your plaque is found on the staircase. From the base

of the reflecting pool, 87 steps, or four score and seven, lead into

the temple; a reference to the opening of Lincoln's famed Gettysburg Address.

As you enter and face Lincoln statue, the address itself is etched into the wall

to your left. While Lincoln's second Inaugural Address

adorns the wall to your right. Both speeches are topped with murals

allegorically depicting emancipation and national reunification. Designed by

sculptor Daniel Chester French and carved in marble, Lincoln's statue is 19

feet tall and sits atop a chair draped with the American flag, the arms of which

are supported by bundled rods called fasces: a classic Roman symbol of unity.

Fasces also adorn the base of the two ornamental cauldrons which decorate the temple

steps. Lincoln's left hand is clenched

representing his strength as a wartime president, his right hand is open

demonstrating his charitable vision for post-war reconstruction. We hope you

enjoy your visit to the Lincoln Memorial. To learn more about the selection of

fascinating tours we offer, make sure to visit our website at www.dcbyfoot.com

Lionfish Facts and Care Guide - Duration: 3:12.

Hey whats up guys, here I will be talking about lionfish.

For those who don't know Lion fish is a genus venomous marine aquatic

fish commonly kept as pets in aquarium.

It is known by the scientific name Pterois.

And also natively called zebrafish, firefish, turkeyfish, tastyfish or butterfly-cod.

Since they are marine fish they are kept in marine or reef aquariums.

Lion Fish prefer corals so aquariums in which they are kept should contain enough corals.

Lion Fish are invasive species mostly found in West Atlantic, Caribbean Sea and Mediterranean

Sea.

Invasive species means they can spread to other location and can cause trouble to environment

or humans.

Lionfish are also classified as Red lionfish, Spotfin lionfish, Pterois miles, Clearfin

lionfish and Pterois mombasae Lion fish have 18 venomous spines on the dorsal

fins as well near tail and other areas which should be avoided as they contain neurotoxin

venom and their sting can cause extreme pain and burnings.

In a video series on YouTube channel Brave Wilderness.

The lead actor Coyote Peterson takes the sting of venomous lionfish spines.

Sting is extremely painful and Peterson then rushes to seek medical attention.

He also include a video explaining about the first aid of lionfish sting.

So if you willing to watch that make sure to check out those videos on channel Brave

Wilderness Lionfish is

also eaten as food only after the venomous spines are removed and outer skin is sliced

off by an expert chef.

I have seen this fish live in an aqua show in our city and it is truly beautiful fish

but only con is it is venomous.

So do take care of all the factors before keeping lionfish in aquariums.

Thats all about Lionfish, give this video a thumbs up and share the video.

Also subscribe for upcoming video and watch my top list video on my channel page.

Until next video bye and take care and thanks for watching.

The Essex Design Guide - Interview with Cll Lesley Wagland - Duration: 1:06.

I've had two long parallel careers.

One in law and the other in politics,

both involved with planning.

For those, anything to do with Essex

has produced The Essex Design Guide

as a silver thread that runs through it

because it brings local people, and developers,

and the members of councils together

to look at the context of development,

the materials, the quality, how we deal with it.

It also takes us away from the difficulties involved

in questions of density.

I defy anyone to look at two schemes sitting on table

and be able to say which one of them is the more dense.

Density is a function of design.

Good design makes a difference,

and for me, that's where The Essex Design comes in.

I think it's marvellous it's now going

to be digitally available, easily accessible online,

and I'm looking forward to it

being cited again and again in the future.
