When you see someone's eyes, that person soon realizes that you are going to say something

to him/her.

The I in Team • S04E13 • TPN's Buffy Guide - Duration: 7:21.

Well...remember the turn I said this great season is about to take?

Here we go.

The Scoobies are having a quiet night at home while Buffy is out beating the snot out of

her new boyfriend's team of muscled military types.

Riley is proud but clearly Buffy's power makes Walsh uneasy.

A nuke that she doesn't have the keys to.

There's something a little odd about this scene in that Buffy appears to be going full

speed on them, as she did Riley in the previous episode, and Buffy's power is enough to

manhandle burly demons.

How are the Initiative bros not in the hospital?

Also I did want to acknowledge the unsung hero of this Season

Graham: Nice going Buffy

Graham.

As douchey Forrest is and as milquetoast as Riley can be Graham just seems like a calm

standup guy.

And him complimenting Buffy in this scene made me really like him.

Willow reminds Buffy of plans that night at the bronze.

We get the sense that they haven't been seeing that much of each other lately.

And I kind of love that too.

The portrayal of how one of your friends gets a new significant other and you kinda sorta

stop seeing the for awhile.

I have both witnessed that and been guilty of it.

Riley brings Buffy to the man cave where she witnesses a few demons being reconditioned.

Walsh gives Buffy a key to the kingdom and a pager.

Man this episode is dry at this point.

But, like finding water in the desert, across town a pair I actually care about are hanging

out.

Tara gives Willow a crystal of her grandmother's.

Tara invites Willow over but Willow has plans with Buffy that evening at the Bronze.

She doesn't invite Tara along.

Amber Benson has such specific ticks as Tara that I love.

When she looks down I FEEL her shyness in my own body.

I love her performance.

And she and a scientist discuss the risk that Buffy poses along with some experiment they

have going.

After Willow didn't invite Tara Buffy shows at the Bronze with her beau and all his bros.

Willow pleads for caution but team Riley gets beeped out on a mission.

At the briefing the science team says aren't allowed to damage the demons arms and the

wheel that is the Buffster squeeks relentlessly.

I love this shot of Buffy and her rassy sassy outfit surrounded by the military men in Mao

suits.

If ever there was a single image the touched on some of the season's themes this might

be it.

The episode's title "The I in Team" is a reference to the old saying, "There

is no 'I' in team," referring to the need of a team to forgo individual interests

to be successful.

Buffy, obviously, is the I.

Don't worry I've patrolled in this halter many times.

What interesting is if you consider the play on words from the perspective of both her

temporarily leaving the Scoobies in this one and her not fitting in with the Initiative

dude-bros, there is a cool reflection of the Scoobies metaphorical relationship to her.

Buffy has been ignoring the concerns of her metaphorical heart, mind, and spirit for the

past few episodes.

Things usually end up well when that happens.

Out on patrol Forrest's crush on Riley has turned sour grapes, as he complains relentlessly

about Riley's new girlfriend.

I tend to believe that Forrest has secretly been in love with Riley the whole time

and the machismo (ma-keez-mo) turned up to 11

"These ones go to 11"

Was just him compensating for his insecurity over his own sexuality.

There's no concrete evidence in the text to confirm that theory one way or another

and it's probably much more likely that he's just written a little one dimensionally…

But the sexy male unrequited love reading is so much more interesting to me than Forrest

just being Forrest.

Hashtag bring your own subtext.

Buffy and Riley find the baddy.

As the lunge for it, the shots drop into slow mo and we get a bizarre little montage of

them fighting together in sync and having sex for the first time.

This confirms the visual metaphor of their dissonant fighting in Hush and what that meant

about their relationship to that point.

The music here is also very unusual for the show.

I can't quite remember another piece of music just like it.

It is a pulsating bit of electronia that feels both sexy and wrong and unnerving.

I dig it.

The editing is also really interesting.

I love how it plays with time and culminates after we've already been watching them have

sex with Buffy asking:

"So what do you want to do now."

Really creative.

Though I needed a bit of brain bleach after seeing Riley's sex face.

WHAT IS HAPPENING?!?

And then the camera pans around and we get the reason why maybe the music was so haunting

and unsure of itself.

As we see Walsh watching them have sex.

A creepy and unnerving reinforcement of the panopticon idea.

Spike has been tracker tagged by the Initiative and flees to Giles'.

They agree to help him.

Buffy wakes up in bed and quickly turns to see if she's alone.

I give Riley a lot of points in this moment but it's because we've been with Buffy

through a number of horrible relationships already and have such empathy for her bruised.

Hilarious though that Buffy's love life has lowered the bar to the point where just

not being a turd wins you points.

A bit of reference to the fact that Riley has a touch of the nice-guy problem.

201

Riley has an alarm to remind him to take his vitamins.

A hint at how he and the initiative can keep up with Buffy without her accidentally killing

them.

I am how they trained me.

Walsh sends Riley out after Spike and we see she's using monster parts to build Adam.

Willow and Buffy both return to the dorm room after not having stayed there overnight.

Buffy is doing the walk of shame from Riley's.

Willow was out all night with Tara.*subtext bell.

Walsh sends Buffy on a mission and Willow helps the team save Spike from the tracker.

This is an unusually slapstick joke for the show but I loved the little detail of Willow

using Tara's crystal.

In the sewers Buffy realizes Walsh has sent her into a trap with a gun that doesn't

work.

Walsh is watching from a camera and see's Buffy's heart rate monitor drop to zero.

She looks around her guiltily in what is her character' most human moment since…

"I like her"

Riley returns to the nest and as Walsh tries to lie to Riley about Buffy

Riley leaves.

Maggie monologues to her Frankenstein who wakes up and kills her in a genuinely shocking

but unexplained moment.

Why, did he wake up right then?

It's difficult to comment on the first episode in a two-parter so I will save most of my

comments for the next video.

But somehow this episode feels slow and gives me whiplash at the same time.

The season arc had been limping along for 12 episodes so far but here jumps to a sprint.

The mad scientist developments with Walsh are way too fast.

Meanwhile gang chemistry feels like it's going in slow motion...which is appropriate

for the current subplots but has the effect of making the episode feel at odds with itself.

There's a reason.

We'll get to it in the next.

"Riley...make me proud."

💕10 Best Cafes Part 2 ☕ in Seoul, Korea (Instagram Famous Cafes) | Seoul Travel Guide | Korea VLog - Duration: 10:41.

hi guys today I'm going to show you 10 more instagram-worthy cafes that you

should visit when you come to Seoul. Cafe Dior by Pierre Herme in Apgujeong Rodeo

is probably the fanciest and most expensive cafe that I've ever been to in

my life let's be real who do they think they are

charging $20 for a cup of coffee? This Cafe is located on the top floor of the

Dior store in Apgujeongl Rodeo and it's a really fun place to visit just for the

experience but I don't think that I'll go back now that I've experienced it

once. If you do visit I would recommend going during the warmer months because

there's an outdoor seating area which has these really cool umbrella tables

that were closed when I went. so Pierre Hermé used to have some shops in the Hyundai

shopping malls in Seoul but they pulled out a while back and after those

Pierre hermé stores closed one of the pastry chefs stayed behind and decided

to work for Cafe DIor serving pierre herme desserts and that's why

it's called Cafe Dior by Pierre Herme. even though it was expensive I

really enjoyed this place. Passion V bakery in hannam-dong is a bakery made

of five components: a cafe, a bakery, a patisserie, a chocolate shop, and lastly

passion from passion 5's patissiers. while the bakery has some really good

looking breads my favorite part of this shop is the patisserie. the cakes on

display are just beautiful works of art that I probably wouldn't want to eat

just because they are so pretty. the selection of eclairs and tarts is also

pretty amazing. this bakery is run by the same conglomerate that owns Paris

baguette which I'm sure you guys have heard about but there's a wider variety

of desserts and pastries here. my favorite item from this bakery is not

super pretty but is it's insanely delicious. it's this Earl Gray chiffon

cake which is the lightest airiest fluffiest most delicious cake that I've

ever had in my life. Yeouguso means laboratory in Korean and

this cafe is called dessert yeonguso, so so they do an excellent job of carrying

out the laboratory theme throughout the cafe and it's done in a really pretty

photogenic way. the desserts are pretty much all some iteration of a cheesecake

mousse: raspberry cheesecake mousse, cookies and cream cheesecake etc. we also

picked up a rainbow soda which is basically a ramune cream soda, but I

wasn't a huge fan of the food and drinks here flavor-wise. I felt like the

cheesecakes were overly sweet and I would have liked to have some dessert

choices other than cheesecakes. although the cream soda was really pretty

it didn't taste very good. but if you're looking for something that's

instagram-worthy then you definitely want to check this place out. as you can

see the decor in the cafe is also on point. so another cafe you may want to

visit is Miss Lee cafe in Insadong, and this is a quirky little cafe that has a

vintage feel to it. you can buy old-school Korean candy right in front

of the door and you can play some old-school video games as well it's

decorated with all this memorabilia like Astro Boy and other little figurines and

you're at the cafe you'll see love notes hanging from the walls and the ceiling

and you can actually write your own love note. you can also write on the walls if

you want to. the cafe actually provides paper and a pen and a little twisty tie

so you can write your note and just add it to the decor. the special dish is this

"dosirak" which is a Korean style lunch box which contains kimchi rice a fried

egg seaweed and some sausage and you're supposed to shake it up shake it shake

it shake it and then you open it up and everything's all mixed up like this and

you can enjoy your food. other popular dishes include the bingsoo

which is a shaved ice and other traditional Korean snacks. just down the

street from Miss Lee cafe you can find the poop cafe which is a poop themed cafe of

all things and while it might seem kind of gross it's actually pretty tastefully

done I wasn't super grossed out by it but they really go all out with the poop

theme they use old-school Korean toilets as planters, and you can buy these little

poop charms and there's just urinals and toilets all over the place they even

make poop themed scones and they serve your food or your latte in a toilet cup

would you guys drink your latte out of a toilet? I got a mint latte and it was

actually quite good and you can also buy these poop-shaped Korean pancakes called

hotteok. they serve them on the first floor of the shopping center as well and

like as well as in the cafe and they're pretty good

billy angel cake company is another very instagram-worthy cafe that you can find

in korea. it's a chain so you can find multiple locations but the one that I

went to was in the coex shopping mall inside of the starfield library. it's one

of those cafes that feels really nice and fancy with white marble tables, and

the thing that caught my eye was this rainbow crepe cake. the reason that this

was so amazing was because each color of the cake had a different flavor and it

was a really distinct flavor. usually when you get a rainbow cake they

just use food coloring to make each of the layers a different color but this

had different flavors as well. we also got this rose mojito which is

non-alcoholic obviously but it's this super pretty drink which has ombre

colors and actual rose petals inside. the bunny cafe in Hongdae is less of a cafe

and more of a place where you can just sit around and pet some really cute

bunnies but they do serve some drinks I decided to come here because my daughter

loves bunnies and I thought that she would have a blast just petting the

bunnies the way that they decorated that cafe is really cute and super

instagram-worthy with tons of pink bunnies all over the place and these

black and white checkered floors and they actually did it in the theme of

Alice in Wonderland sort of and they also use these molang

keychains and wall on sticky note so you can write a note on the wall and

leave your mark. everyone's supposed to wear an apron so that if the bunnies

poop or pee on you it doesn't get on your clothes too much also I would recommend

buying one or two baskets of bunny food which consists of some carrot slices and

leaves and sticks surprisingly if you want the bunnies to come up to you just

have to offer them some food. another cafe that I really liked was the

Innisfree green cafe in Myeongdong and this is located on the second floor of

one of the Innisfree stores in Myeongdong. there are a ton of them so youll

have to look it up on the map but the food there is just really

picture-perfect and pretty and so are the drinks and I also thought it was

pretty healthy and tasty there's also a place where you can experience virtual

reality in the cafe. The Cafe is really spacious there are two levels of seating

and the decor is very natural and green and it's sort of a nice calm oasis among

the hustle and bustle of Myeongdong when we went it wasn't busy at all and it

just felt so calming and zen inside

I ordered a tangerine omija tea and a green pesto mozzarella salad which came

with this really cool black volcanic cake. we also ordered these fluffy

japanese-style pancakes and I found that they were a little bit on the eggy side

but they were still pretty good especially with that big lump of whipped

butter. if you like chocolate and mint you will love mint heim in Hongdae and

this is a cafe that specializes in chocolate and mint desserts as well as

drinks so the coffee that I got was an Americano but it had a splash of mint

flavoring at the bottom and while the dark green color is a little bit scary

it was actually really refreshing and good it seems like they make all of

their desserts in-house because in the back you can see boxes and boxes of

Oreos and they have everything from cheesecake - cake - macaroons to whoopie

pies to chocolate mint chucks mix and all kinds of good stuff the tables and

chairs and walls are also painted mint green so they really went all out with

the mint theme here and I thought it was well done and I really

if you guys love i love lucy' then you will enjoy visiting the i love lucy' pie

kitchen in ichon-dong and this is a little cafe that serves up all different

kinds of pies and some drinks and coffees and cookies and this is a really

cute little vintage cafe that i thought i would check out because i used to

watch a lot of I Love Lucy reruns as a child and also you don't really see pies

too often in Seoul so I thought that we would just check it out we ended up

getting the blueberry cream cheese pie and the lemon meringue pie and the

blueberry cream cheese pie was really good the lemon meringue pie not so much

in terms of drinks we got the recommended tea which is a vanilla iced tea

and I ended up just being a C.O. Bigelow tea which I was kind of disappointed

about but this place was fun to visit because it was just a cute quirky little

slice of Americana in Korea. so what did you guys think let me know in the

comments below which one was your favorite and if you've ever been to any

of them before and also leave a comment if you have a cafe that you think I should

visit I'll talk to you in my next video bye

Kaohsiung vacation travel guide 4K - Duration: 1:05:33.

85 Sky Tower, formerly known as the T & C Tower or Tuntex Sky Tower (Chinese: 高雄85大樓; pinyin: Gāoxióng 85 Dàlóu; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: Ko-hiông 85 Tōa-lâu),

is an 85-story skyscraper located in Lingya District, Kaohsiung, Taiwan. The structure is 347.5 m (1,140 ft) high.

An antenna increases the pinnacle height to 378 m (1,240 ft). Constructed from 1994 to 1997, it is the tallest

skyscraper in Kaohsiung, and was the tallest in Taiwan until the completion of Taipei 101.

There is no 44th floor in the building (see Tetraphobia); the 43rd floor connects directly to the 45th floor.

The pyramid shaped crown is the equivalent of 3 stories high and hence marketed as 83-85 to arrive at a round number.

There is no elevator access to floors above 80. The columns and foundation are made of steel since at 85th storey the 21MPa (3,000 psi) Ultimate compressive strength of concrete collapses.

The building was designed by C.Y. Lee & Partners and Hellmuth, Obata & Kassabaum, and has an unusual 'prong' design with two separate 39-floor sections,

which merge into a single central tower rising to a spire. This unique design leaves a substantial space below the central part of the tower.

The design was inspired by the first Kanji and Chinese character of the city's name (changed to Takao (Japanese: 高雄) during Japanese rule).

John W. Milton was Project Director on behalf of Turner International Inc (New York), a subsidiary of Turner Construction.

The building was owned by the now defunct Tuntex Group, and is mainly offices, but includes residential space, a department store and the 85 Sky Tower Hotel

occupies the 38th to 70th floors. An observation deck on the 74th floor offers views over the Kaohsiung City,

the Love River and the Kaohsiung Harbour, and is accessed by high speed elevators, capable of speeds of 10.17 m/s.

85 sky tower hotel occupies floor 37 -85 and owns the observation deck. Office space and studio apartment occupy each side of the lower floors.

Cruise Port Guide 2018: Grand Turk Tips and Overview - Duration: 5:49.

TheJellyBeans.net

Grand Turk is a little island with a lot to offer.

In addition to some of the best diving in the world, there is also the Grand Turk Cruise

Center area for those who prefer spending the day shopping, swimming at a pool, or sunbathing

on a white sandy beach.

The cruise terminal -- which caters to Carnival Corporation cruise lines like Carnival, Princess,

Holland America, and P&O -- has a pier that can accommodate two ships at the same time.

No tender is required.

The beach, shopping, restaurants, and a pool are just steps away.

Be sure to remember that Clam Shells, Beach Chairs, and Sun Umbrellas inside the Grand

Turk Cruise Center are complimentary for cruise passenger use.

Even the ones closest to the water!

Signs are posted, but there will still be plenty of locals trying to scam money from

unsuspecting tourists.

We simply tell them, "No, thanks.

Everything is free," and they leave us alone, realizing we know about their scam.

When exiting the ship, most passengers tend to head towards the white sandy beaches on

the left side -- or north side -- of the Grand Turk pier and there is good reason.

There are plenty of chairs, clam shells, and umbrellas available; the beach and water are

beautiful; you get to swim close to the ships; and the snorkeling is great because Carnival

has submerged cannons, anchors and other items in that area to attract fish.

Also on the left side of the Grand Turk pier is Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville restaurant

area which has a complimentary pool with complimentary lounge chairs.

A Flowrider surfing attraction is available near the pool and cost around $30 an hour

on our last visit.

Riders must be at least 52 inches.

The Flowrider attraction may be purchased as a shore excursion through the cruise line.

Additionally, a limited number are sometimes available

at the Flowrider shop near the swimming pool.

Although there are many things to enjoy on the left side of the pier, we usually go to

the right side -- or south side -- of the Grand Turk pier, which also has a lot to offer and

tends to be not as popular.

We love this location because we have a better chance of finding a clam shell, even if we're

not the first people off the ship.

Even though the area is more rocky than the beach area to the north, we've had great

luck spotting many fish and sea urchins while snorkeling in this area.

There is also a restaurant and bathrooms close by.

If you're planning to spend your day at Grand Turk by the water -- or in it -- remember

to bring a beach towel from the ship and return it to the ship at the end of the day.

Towels are not provided on the island.

We also recommend you bring your own snorkeling equipment and buckets for building sand castles.

In the center of the cruise terminal itself you'll find several shops to explore.

Like other ports, many offer freebies and raffles.

Details are available in the port shopping guides that are handed out on the ship.

Outside of the Cruise Terminal boundaries there are several excursion options as well

as two areas that can be explored by foot.

The most popular area is north of the Cruise Center, along the beach.

There are a couple of bars in that direction that are very popular with tourists and crew,

the most popular of which seems to be Jack's Shack Beach Bar and Grill.

The bar is about a ten-minute walk from the exit of the Cruise Center and you can visit

their website to get a free shot of rum.

If you head south – past the warning signs that you're about the leave the cruise terminal

area – you'll come to what some call the Conch Shell graveyard, which is popular with

beachcombers.

Though some cruisers are successful bringing conch shells back on the ship to take home,

most are often confiscated at the ship's security checkpoint when you return from port.

Finally, a great resource for learning more about the island and the cruise terminal is

the Grand Turk Cruise Center website – which includes Maps of the island, a listing of

taxi fares to explore the island, excursion descriptions, and a calendar showing the ships

scheduled to be in port on a specific day.

Lincoln Memorial Visitors Guide | Washington DC - Duration: 3:27.

No trip to Washington DC is complete without visiting the Lincoln Memorial,

one of our nation's most treasured landmarks. So how do you get there?

And why all the fuss? I'm glad you asked! Found at the west end of the National

Mall, the memorial is open 24 hours a day 365 days a year. Walk, take Capital

Bikeshare or the Circulator bus to get there.

If you're on DC Metro, take the Blue, Orange or Silver line to the Foggy

Bottom stop at 23rd and I Street Northwest. The memorial is just over a

half mile walk south down 23rd Street. If you're traveling by car, free parking

spots are found along Ohio Drive bordering the Potomac River. Be aware

however that parking is often at a premium and space is not guaranteed.

You've arrived. Now how to get in? From the plaza, a grand staircase leads into

the temple. If steps are a difficulty - as you face the memorial, to your left is a

walkway leading into a small museum space. Here you can find restrooms and

elevator access. The memorial itself is dedicated to the memory of Abraham

Lincoln. As chief executive, Lincoln abolished slavery and shepherded the

nation through Civil War. The memorial is rich in history and symbolism.

Constructed under the direction of architect Henry Bacon, it is made to

resemble a Greek temple; which we associate with the traditions of

Athenian democracy and yogurt manufacturing. Around the perimeter are

36 pillars, one for each state in the Union during the Civil War. Directly

above the pillars are two rows of state names: the 36 Civil War era States and

the 48 which existed when the memorial was dedicated in 1922. If you're from

Alaska or Hawaii, don't worry: your plaque is found on the staircase. From the base

of the reflecting pool, 87 steps, or four score and seven, lead into

the temple; a reference to the opening of Lincoln's famed Gettysburg Address.

As you enter and face Lincoln statue, the address itself is etched into the wall

to your left. While Lincoln's second Inaugural Address

adorns the wall to your right. Both speeches are topped with murals

allegorically depicting emancipation and national reunification. Designed by

sculptor Daniel Chester French and carved in marble, Lincoln's statue is 19

feet tall and sits atop a chair draped with the American flag, the arms of which

are supported by bundled rods called fasces: a classic Roman symbol of unity.

Fasces also adorn the base of the two ornamental cauldrons which decorate the temple

steps. Lincoln's left hand is clenched

representing his strength as a wartime president, his right hand is open

demonstrating his charitable vision for post-war reconstruction. We hope you

enjoy your visit to the Lincoln Memorial. To learn more about the selection of

Since they are marine fish they are kept in marine or reef aquariums.

Lion Fish prefer corals so aquariums in which they are kept should contain enough corals.

Lion Fish are invasive species mostly found in West Atlantic, Caribbean Sea and Mediterranean

Invasive species means they can spread to other location and can cause trouble to environment

In a video series on YouTube channel Brave Wilderness.
