Hi there, Survivors!
It's the last episode of the Garage.
Today in the show:
— The second part of the biggest changes since the open beta start;
— The best moments in the history of the show;
— The valediction from the Mechanics.
One more time.
Let's go!
We continue remembering the biggest changes of the year.
Factions, game modes and technical specifications have all been covered in the previous episode:
we strongly advise watching it before you watch this one.
Crossout is still in the testing mode, and this is why the game is always changing, sometimes very profoundly.
November has brought along a very important patch.
There was no new faction or arena, but the gameplay impact has been very significant.
The Update has become the result of a long work over rebalancing the game.
The cabins, additional parts, constructional elements and moving parameters have all changed.
Light cabin crafts started dealing more damage, but lost additional armor.
Heavy rides, ceding in power, managed to stand out in durability.
Efficient hybrid crafts with generators and engines are still popular.
Frames have stopped influencing the structure parameters.
Their role doesn't interfere with the other parts anymore.
With this update we wanted to motivate Survivors to create more ingenious crafts,
so that they can fight unfavorable and unpredictable enemies more often.
Some comments have been positive, others…
productive.
The goal was met, though it took some time.
The additional balancing took part in nearly every consequent patch.
Quite recently, this spring to be more exact,
we've corrected the characteristics of the close-range weaponry, making it more attractive.
Hovers have been progressively changed,
simultaneously becoming easier to fight with and keeping the parts.
We're now thinking of remaking the Firestarters' parts.
Small improvements, which make life a bit simpler.
Since June of the last year there are now partners in the cabins of the Survivors rides.
They provide small but pleasant bonuses:
increased damage, increased rides' durability, improved module effectiveness, etc.
The 38th episode of the Garage tells all you need to know about this.
We'll also mention the energy boost—a special parameter, renewed daily.
As long as the Survivor is fresh, they earn 5 times more reputation points until getting 60000 total points.
You can learn more about your energy boost when you hover the pointer over the FIGHT button.
In the Personal Data section, a new sheet appeared this spring.
There was a full specter of timely stats,
including the info on rides, Leviathans, faction loyalty levels,
the number of fights, the average number of killings, and constructed parts.
You can watch the stats of other players, too.
The scanner has become available in the shop now.
It allows for spotting the values on the combat field, invisible to the naked eye, and getting more reputation.
Additionally, the device opens a daily mission for 20 coins, and increases the resource limit to 50%.
Survivors can buy a set for an unlimited number of times, and the time of activations is summarized.
The charge is enough for 30 days.
The world of the Garage is cruel,
and this is why few people celebrate important holidays on such a large scale as the Survivors do.
To list all the things we celebrated—oh, the head is swimming.
St. Valentine's Day, February 23, March 8, April Fool's Day, Halloween, New Year…
the format has always been a surprise.
New melees appeared, new characters came in, gifts were given.
Knightriders have visited us twice over the year.
Each time Martin has brought along new stories of the promised land and unique parts.
And all of this—not counting the spontaneous givings of pleasant trifles, like, say, the new dyes!
Holiday Committee of the Wastes declares: no one's going to slow down.
Since last May the war of domination in the Wastes has been joined by:
— Eric Stahl, the leader of Steppenwolves.
His popularity was so high, he wasn't even fired when losing his arm.
— Riley, the leader of Dawn Children.
Earlier he was a head of one of the labs of the Waterquarn corp.
He is the creator of the protective overalls, countering the deadly effect of the Crossout.
— Odegon, the leader of Firestarters.
No one knows for sure whether the witch has any magical skills, but no one wants to mess with her.
At least for the very reason that Khan is personally interested in her fate.
— The Rat King Kenneth Parrish.
The leader of the controlled chaos, the dealer, the creator of the Royale Battleground.
— Wolfhound.
A dangerous hunter with the invisible ride, crafted based on a helicopter.
— Slayer.
A hunter of animals, who's now decided to hunt for people.
— Mitchell.
A lieutenant who has been getting the civil ones out from the danger zones for more than several decades.
He never attacks first, but ruthlessly thwarts any attempts on messing with him.
— Gronch.
He tried to steal the Christmas Tree and kill the spirit of the New year,
but Survivors prevented him in a special mission.
— Ivy Witch.
Formally, it's not a new character, but there's no way we can do without her in this list!
Especially with such a memorable look!
And these are only the brightest heroes.
No way we can list all of them here.
Survivors, the Garage has always been trying to entertain and teach you.
The episodes will stay on the channel,
and that's why we'll remind you of the most important (or funniest!) topics we've covered.
The way to correctly play Crossout after the November update
becomes clearer thanks to the Garage 21st episode.
We advise on watching this episode first and foremost.
The difference between the structure parameters and the damage ones is analyzed in the 24th episode.
Watch it, so as not to get confused with those anymore.
The hovers topic, including the winning tactics, is covered in the Garage 12th episode.
In the previous one, we've designed the first crafts based on hovers.
The part wasn't yet available publicly.
You can check that out for the nostalgia.
All the dyes in the game are mentioned and analyzed in the Garage episode number 22.
You can also find there instructions on mixing those, and what comes out of it.
If we pay our attention to the numbers,
then the major stats for Crossout for the end of 2017 can be learned in the 26th episode of the Garage.
You can also find some amusing records there,
including the toughest crafts, or the number of player's rides in the popular modes.
In the episode after that, we've gathered the top of the local market goods.
With some small changes, it's still accurate.
The history of the argument between the Lunatic and the Scientist
involving the shuttle on the Broken Arrow map is told in the episode 41.
Undoubtedly, this is one of the best recent tales of the Wastes.
A year ago spinners were all the hype.
This is why we've checked whether you can craft a similar ride in the Garage episode #3.
Spoiler alert: you can, but there are some aspects.
Hot rod parts are a hot topic for frequent arguments.
Many still don't get how to find them in the game.
You learn the origin of both the term and the parts in the 14th episode.
The history of Crossout parts is a whole series, telling of unexpected forefathers of known parts.
There would be no such material without our loyal forum readers, eager to dig out information.
If you're interested, look for the blocks from the 35th episode to the 38th episode.
If you were subscribed to the Channel only because the Garage, don't rush into saying goodbye.
We still have RoboFight and Crossout Show.
In the first one the weirdest clunks of armed metal fight each other,
while the second ones helps you get the game's gold for the skill.
In fact, if this is not enough for you, at least follow the updates.
The episodes on the large patches will still continue to be out.
And we may also have special videos, like this list of 11 facts on the game which you didn't know.
That's it, Survivors.
Not only for today, but forever: we won't see each other in a week.
The road has been long and hard—but that's exactly why we'll remember it.
To all those watching the Garage weekly, hats off.
To all those watching from time to time, our respect.
Thanks for commenting, criticizing, discussing, arguing—in other words, for being involved.
If you learned something along the way, there's no bigger reward for us.
Down with the long goodbyes.
The ride is ready, the engine is revving.
It might just be that we see each other again—the Earth is round, after all.
This was the Garage.
Later.
